It didn't take much effort to take care of the Miltank, as I saw the reason she was having a bad day was because of something very simple. She had a rock that had gotten stuck in her hoof and I offered to take it out. I did so, but I still got a back leg kick from when I took it out, as it was in there kinda deep, so it did hurt when I took it out.

"AUGH! It hurt so mu-... huh? It doesn't hurt anymore!" she smiled, but it still didn't mean much when I got hurt in the stomach and I was needing to recompose myself.

"Ooogh... I'm gonna need... a break..." I groaned, trying to get my breath back in my body before I then, finally, did so, but only after Big Bertha helped me off of the ground and helped to carry me to the base.

"Thanks heaps for helping Miltank, hon... when you get your second wind, I'll give ya'll a fresh bottle of milk. How about that?" she smirked at me.

"Yeah... thanks..." I smiled as Flabebe flittered right next to me.

"Good thing I stuck behind for that one, because I wouldn't want my flower to be hurt," she smiled happily.

"Yeah, the flower is the most important thing to a Flabebe, as far as I know," I said with my thoughts, her nodding at me as we then went to the base and I finally felt my breath return, which Bertha then went to go fetch the milk for me, right as the sun was about to set in the distance.

"You've done good work today, Hush. You should take the rest of the day to rest and relax, my treat," Barlow said, me smiling at that.

"Thanks, boss," I smirked as I then simply took the time to wait for Bertha to return with some milk, me smiling at how it was warm, which I shared between myself and Flabebe, the tiny fairy only needing a sip to be full.

"Ah... so tasty..." she smirked happily.

"It must be rough being so small. Too many risks of predator Pokemon eating you up," I smiled at her.

"And that's what the flower is for. It gives off a scent that, if a predator tries to attack, it'll hurt their noses with a toxin that will make them fall asleep," she smirked.

"Yeah... can I have some of that? Maybe it could help me sleep better, too," Willow asked with a smirk.

"Of course, but only once you get off work," Flabebe giggled as we then went to bed and sighed in relief... before the relief was interrupted by Adria speaking.

"So, tell me. What all did Leah tell you that I did to her?" she asked, me frowning at her angrily.

"She didn't tell me much, because I knew enough already about you before I met her," I frowned in thought.

"Peh! What is that supposed to mean? Are you trying to say you saw me before you met me, as well? Then tell me, who was Leah's protector during her final stages of life where I'm from?" she asked.

"There were two. The first was Deckard Cain, her uncle, who taught her the difference between wrong and right and hoped she'd learn more about the plans of the end of days. And the second was Tyraeal, archangel of Justice, who became her guardian for a very brief time before you forced her soul and body to be overtaken by your disgusting husband," I frowned at her angrily.

"Don't you dare call him disgusting!" she growled at me.

"You're worse, though," I said, which made her growl even angrier. Because she knew I was right. "You said it yourself in your one journal. Leah was never your child. She was Diablo's, and he saw nothing in you, but the product of your womb. And the last words you said? Daughters are a cheap thing. You know what I think is cheap? Selling your own flesh and blood to be used as nothing but a walking skinsuit for a monster who wanted to kill ALL humans! He would've killed you just as well, idiot!" I growled at her.

"Diablo would NEVER kill me!"

"You said it yourself. He saw nothing in you, just the possibility of the perfect vessel from your union. You really think he would've let you rule as his queen to his king? He was going to destroy the whole world, not rule it. So congratulations. You did nothing but screw yourself over in advance," I spat at her in my mind.

"You... I refuse to stay in your body anymore!" she growled as she then tried to leave, but I halted her with my own defense in Celebi. "No... Let me out, you stupid flower bulb!"

"Not a chance. I never sleep, so you're never leaving. Not until you can get QUITE a talking-to by your own daughter. Maybe then you'll learn why you never mess with demons," Celebi growled for me as I then finally went to sleep, feeling tuckered out after the internal argument and needing some shut-eye in the process.

During the dream, I could hear Adria constantly trying to escape before finally giving up and turning into a crying mess, which was SO satisfying to me. But then, I smelled something... sour and dry. It was almost like it were a special kind of fire... wait... FIRE?!

I woke up with a jolt afterwards and rushed out to the main hall and, good thing too, as the group at the Base were asleep and the smoke smell was able to be smelled, if only a little bit. I then went outside... and the smell that came after? It was enough to immediately wake up the rest at the base!

"WHAT IS THAT?! Is that sour smoke?!" Luana asked in concern as I then looked out to the forest and gawked. It was the forest fire and it had JUST started!

"Forest fire! Forest fire! We need to go there and put it out, like, right now!" I shouted in my voice, which Barlow nodded at.

"Okay, team! Consider this an important mission! Luana, you and I will go and evacuate the townies to Chicole village so they don't get hurt from the smoke! Crawford and Hush, head out to contain the fire before it spreads further! Let's go!" he said, me nodding as I then did my Ranger Pose along with Crawford, where I picked up my Styler with my mind, extended it, and then shushed myself with my finger. "Let's go!"

I then wasted no time in heading to the forest, where the smell got really sour, me seeing the Pokemon were getting scared and were running for any kind of shelter. And I could hear with my mind as to why.

"It must involve those black stones! I hear a lot of horrid noises coming from deeper in the forest! We need to find a Pokemon that knows Rain Dance to put the flames out," I said with my mind to Crawford, him nodding at me with seriousness.

"Let's roll out! A Blastoise should be able to do this easily," he said, us then going deeper into the woods and gawking at how the place was even worse with the fire and we even saw destroyed and melted Gigaremo machines that were all over the place. And also? I saw a duo of demons that were out in the open and looked to be burning alive! And as for what they were? One was a female imp (no clothes and visible chest) and the other was a... Mallet Lord that looked like a little girl?

"What the heck?" I asked in confusion as I then saw the duo looked to be in pain, me rushing to them and having the duo roll on the ground in order to put their flames out, which Crawford looked at the duo with confusion.

"T-Thanks... w-we're hurt..." said the Mallet girl, me being confused. She was quite tall for her age, but it seemed it was mainly because she looked humanoid for everything below her head, but she had no legs on her and her hair was in the form of the Mallet Lord's legs. As for the female imp, she looked to be an adult.

"T-Thank you... Accarat bless you," she said, that making me do a legit double-take. Why?

"An imp praising Accarat?" I asked her.

"We're half demon and half human, thank you very much! We need to get the hell out of this fire! Almost all the other demons got burned, but all of the bad ones got killed off. I'll explain more once you get this fire handled," the imp girl said, me nodding as I then had Crawford escort the duo to a safer part of the forest. I then moved forward once again and found the sight of something very shocking. A succubus was trying to seduce a Blastoise of all things!

"Assist me, I command you," she said, the Blastoise not falling for it as I then caught the Blastoise, which made the Succubus look at me in surprise.

"W-What the?... O-Oh my... A-Adria?" she asked, me frowning at her.

"She may be in my mind, but she's on lockdown as of current. Call me Hush. Tell me, what are you plotting?" I asked her, the Succubus frowning.

"I need to stop this fire and this overgrown turtle won't fall for my spell of lust," she said, which Blastoise frowned at.

"I'm female and prefer male Pokemon, not females that look so bizarre," the Blastoise said, me then nodding.

"Blastoise, I need your help. We need to stop the flames at the source, okay?" I said, her nodding as we then went and backtracked back to the forest where the fires were really bad and I then performed the Area Clear move. "Blastoise, please, use Rain Dance!" I said, the turtle then using the move and, afterwards, the rain that came in proceeded to snuff out the rest of the flames, where I saw that a whole slew of demon bodies were dotting the ground, some looking more burnt than others, and that being a relief, as some were Decievers, others were Dune Threshers, and there was even a Demonic Hellbearer that had been completely reverted to a skeleton, it being just as huge as it was in the game, able to be as tall as a castle!

"We're going to need to do a lot of cleanup for this... these skeletons and corpses are definitely going to raise eyebrows, if not for me and my fellow halfbreeds," the succubus said, me nodding at that as I then went to go back to town, only to find the sight of Ollie, who looked scared and burnt all over, as well as having some scratch marks on him.

"Eep!" he said in concern as he tried to run off, but he ended up tripping on the ground, me going to him and grabbing him gently with my mind.

"Easy, sir. You look very badly hurt... and you reek of the sour smoke smell," I said.

"It's brimstone, caused from when a demon burns," the succubus said, me frowning at her.

"Okay, what's your name? I need to know your name, and the names of the imp and Mallet Lord girl," I said.

"I'm Sally, the imp is Carla, and the girl with the Mallet Lord hair is Princess Joan, heiress to the throne of Caldeum... at least, she was, before the issue with Malthael happened," the succubus said, her appearance making Ollie look scared, me then sighing and giving him some petting on his head.

"Hey, how about we go back to town so we can get you cleaned up? You could use some baths, medical attention, and some new clothes," I smiled, him sniffing at me, but staying silent regardless. I then brought him back to town alongside Sally and, of course, the town was concerned by the trio's appearance, but I then spoke up.

"Everyone, I can confirm that these three are half-demons and are not dangerous. They needed rescued from the issue in the forest... the smell of that smoke was from the demons being burnt to death, which is the smell of brimstone," I said, them nodding at that, but still being scared, especially when princess Joan's hair legs made loud thumps whenever she moved into the Ranger Base, followed by Carla, Crawford, and finally me, Ollie, and Sally, where I then proceeded to explain the situation to Barlow about what had happened.

"Hmm... I see... so does Adria have anything to say about it?" Barlow asked, me frowning at that and looking into my mind and seeing that Adria had seen everything and she looked scared. Scared of fire, obviously.

"Adria," I thought to her, which made her concerned. "I'm sorry you had to see all of that... I know you were terrified of fire; I should've had Celebi shut your eyes off from that... we need to know if you know anything about how the fire happened and why the demons were able to emerge from the black soulstone shards," I said, her then shuddering before then speaking.

"Fine... the Black Soulstone may be powerful at containing demons, but it is extremely fragile. Even something as simple as it being crushed by your foot can kill all the demons within... however, if the soulstones are touched by flames of a hot enough intensity, then they'll release all the demons within whatever shards they reside in... and that is why those demons were burning. They can withstand normal flames, but that fire was caused by tar and oil. It managed to eat through the demons' thick hides, but the half-demons were able to resist it more, as half-demons have more strength than normal ones," Adria sighed from my mind.

"Thank you for cooperating, Adria," I said to her with my mouth.

"I still hate you," she frowned.

"I hate you too," I frowned at her before then having her just retreat to my left ear and my wings, her then proceeding to try and train them for me as I then spoke with my mind again. "Anyways, I found this kid after the fire ended and he smelled heavily of brimstone and of oil... he really needs a bath and some medical attention, as it looks like he got attacked by either the demons or the Pokemon after the fires happened," I said, Ollie sniffing, but still not talking.

"Obviously it doesn't look like he's going to talk. Could you at least tell us your name?" Barlow asked, Ollie still not speaking. I then went into his mind and smiled at how I got it easily.

"Just one time, I promise to never go in your mind again, so long as you tell everyone your name," I said, him sighing after.

"Pi... my name is Pi..." he said, Barlow nodding at that.

"Thanks for saying that much at least. Let's get you cleaned up," Barlow said, me then leading him into the back of the ranger base and leading him to the shower rooms, him then reluctantly going into the showers and then actually speaking as I waited outside.

"Why are you being... so nice to me?" he asked with confusion.

"You looked like you were traumatized by what happened... any information you have is very important, as it could help find out how to stop the source of the black stones," I said, him then sniffing at that. "Also, I doubted the others in this base would've let you shower and get patched up. Barlow's the tough ranger, Luana's the klutzy ranger, and Crawford's the funny ranger... pull his finger," I said, him then doing a small guffaw at me saying that.

"T-Thanks... I needed that," he smiled as he then finished up and, after I provided him the towel, he then dried off in the shower and I laid out some fresh clothes, them being some spares I brought for this exact instance, me making sure they were xl for 18 year olds, with a shirt and a pair of jean shorts, me then exiting the bathroom and him then proceeding to change. "Um... the pants seem a little loose... do you have a belt?" he asked, me then responding by grabbing a belt from the belt rack and having it go under the door. "Thanks..." he said before then rummaging a bit more and then opening the door, me seeing he looked much more presentable, but the shirt and pants looked to be a size too big. "Sorry if they're a bit big, they used to belong to my dad," I said honestly. They were my dad's, but they were the pants he had on when he was in our previous world. When he got combined with Latios, they no longer fit him and he had shrunken in his waistline.

Regardless, I then went to escort Pi out of the showers and I proceeded to lead him to the other rangers, him looking concerned as the machine I'd brought back was being dismantled and Elaine and Professor Hastings looked at them and were placing down a ton of different details onto a sketch of the machine, including what looked to be a heart scale that was used to amplify the strength of the stone within to increase its effectiveness.

"It appears that this particular brand of machine was powered by gas and oil, same with the ones in the forest... but because of that, they are very weak to water attacks," Professor Hastings said as Pi then shyly said something different.

"They plan on making more..." he said, which made everyone look at him immediately. "I was hired because I was told it'd be easy money... I needed the money, because my mom and I just got here... I messed up, though... I poured too much oil in there and then I tried to turn it on... a spark happened and it all ignited... the horrible creatures that came out... oh god... they looked terrifying... a gigantic monster that tried to eat other Pokemon while it burned... a giant monster with hulking arms and holding a giant axe, giant snake-like people that changed shape to look like other creatures, and floating monsters with super sharp skirts... I saw one of them slash apart an Aipom..." he said with sadness as tears were in his eyes.

"Oh no... t-that poor Aipom... what do we do now?" Luana asked.

"Well, I deduce that if we work until evening, I should be able to finish work on the reverse-engineering of these blueprints so we can figure out what exactly we're working with," Hastings said, me nodding at that. "And when we finish, I'd appreciate it if you, miss Hush, would accompany me to the Ranger Union so we can spread the awareness to the rest of the Top rangers and with rangers all over the world," he said, me nodding at that.

"That sounds like a good plan," I said, him nodding as I then went to go check on the others in town... and Pi/Ollie asked if I could take him back home to check on a 'friend'.

"Yeah, I can..." I smiled as Flabebe then finally spoke up, her being quite silent since the issue at the forest this morning.

"I'm so relieved that it's finally over... I-I'm sorry I wasn't able to help too much... my flower and I are terrified of fires," Flabebe said, me smiling at her.

"It's okay, Flabebe. I was scared, too," I admitted to her as we then walked the whole way to Chicole Village and I then escorted Ollie to his house.

"I'm uh... I'm sorry, mom... I didn't mean for all this to happen..." Ollie said, his mom not responding to that. "I just, I wanted to help, but I screwed up, like I always do... it's all my fault," he said before his mom then still stayed silent. "I'm home, mom..." he said finally, which his mom then turned around with a smile.

"Pi, I don't care if you did something bad. I don't care if you messed something up. I'm just glad that you're home and that you're safe," she said, me smiling as he then cried again and gave her a hug, me smiling at that. "You're Hush, right?... Thanks for helping Pi come home," she said, me smiling and nodding at her.

"He got into a bit of a bad scrape with a bad group of people, and the result? Look at the forest center and you'll see what he and I had to contend with," I said, her sighing.

"I heard about it from word of mouth. How the forest was burned and that, from the flames, a bunch of scary monsters appeared... and you're telling me that was true?" she asked.

"Demons from another dimension entirely, each dangerous in their own right, all contained in black stones. Each contains a slew of demons of different strengths and scares, and the most dangerous of the bunch are the four that are in charge," Adria said from my thoughts, her voice confusing the mother of Pi. "Azmodan, Lord of Sin, is a demon military commander. Belial, Lord of Lies, is the most elusive. Duriel, Lord of Pain, is the least threatening of the trio, but still dangerous as his touch can make you feel unrelenting pain. And the leader of them is Malthael, Angel of Death, who is in control of the giant Black Soulstone, the largest of the stones and containing the powers of death itself. It'll be almost impossible to defeat him unless we had the powers of the Worldstone, which, sadly, is impossible," Adria said, me then seeing something on the woman's necklace... it was three different stones, each having a very bright hue and... when I sensed them with my mind, I felt... overwhelming power from each!

"Adria? What are those gems that are in this woman's necklace?" I asked, her then looking at them and then gasping.

"A-Are those?... They can't be..." she gawked.

"Is there something wrong with my necklace? I don't want to part with it, it belonged to my grandmother and it's worth a fortune," she said.

"I would say so, considering it contains the three gems that are required to make the Worldstone of Creation itself! If combined, they can counterract and destroy any and all demons with their mere presence alone!" Adria gawked.

"Do you happen to know the locations of these important gems? Because any information could be invaluable," I said, the mother shrugging her shoulders.

"Unfortunately, I don't have a clue. My grandma died before I was born and I heard from mom that this necklace was able to cost a million dollars for just one of the gemstones being in it. All three together make it a priceless artifact," she smiled.

"And, indeed, it is... we'll try to find out more in the future, regardless. Thanks for alerting us of this knowledge, I'll have Professor Hastings and the Ranger Union know about it as soon as possible," I said, her nodding at that as I then left the place and went back to the Ranger Base for some supper and to go to bed, me then conversing with the others over dinner, in the form of some milk pudding provided by Big Bertha. We needed to be prepared for anything, especially when it came to light about the corpses and bones that were in the forest fire.
