Izuku landed onto a platform, which was right above another powered rail. This is the underground tram tunnel! The sign at the beginning of the tunnel proper even confirmed this. As he wove through this underground, Fisher's voice greeted him once again: "In response to the recent sabotage attempt and arrest of the culprits, I am ordering all Pathfinder operations to be suspended, and all LEAF suits to be locked away until project completion. The suits are too powerful to fall into the wrong hands. Additionally, I am requesting all evidence of the sabotage attempt, including Private First Class Edwin Hall's own LEAF suit and Ms King's recordings, to be gathered and sent to storage until a proper tribunal can take place. Until then, all subjects will remain in detention. With the recent increase in production, it should not be long." Well, it seems like he was just going to let them stay out of his way... until the Wendigos attacked. That's why they had trouble with them, because the Wendigos are harmed by Amrita, yet none of the personnel had access to the LEAF suits to defend everyone. The tram tunnel was much shorter than the rail to the Soma reactor, and part of that was due to the fact it was caved in. Which way? It was then that he realized that there was an open tunnel, with access to the surface. Magnetic panels lined the walls and ceiling, allowing him easy access to the exit as the floor had been collapsed. Perfect! He jumped over and the magnetic core aligned him with the panel. I will never get used to that. It's too jarring... but Izuku kept moving. When he reached the other side, he jumped off to the platform. The LEAF suit's legs were heavy, falling into gravity's influence. Izuku used an Icarus Boost in order to not fall over. He was incredibly nauseous from that experience. Urk... I think I might be sick... deep breaths, Izuku. From his position, Astra could be seen, much closer than before. Good, I'm on the right path. Stepping outside, another pulse of energy stripped more and more life. I have to hurry! Following the sloping path, he found that he had arrived in a testing area. Signs warned of bomb usage, and what used to be a sloping plain was dotted with lots of blast craters. They tested out their bombs here... I have to keep moving...Heading the only direction he could, Izuku found his way blocked by an acorn door. It had 8 slots, and so he put in the acorns. Every time it opened, he remained amazed by the technological might of the ancient ruins. How they flowed and utilized amrita was far beyond anything he'd seen. However, on the other side of the door, was a surprise he didn't want to see. A new type of Wendigo, glowing sickly green, loomed in the distance, with two normal ones seeing him. They roared a challenge, and phased into invisibility. The green one, however, charged. It left a trail behind, and was faster than Izuku was ready for. It's claws ripped his left sleeve, draining Amrita from for a period of time. Just like the green swarms... they have damage over time! Falling back, Izuku quickly went on the offensive, taking it down. Not having time to deal with the other two, the greenette looked around for a way forward. Fortunately, a fallen tree provided a ramp to the top of the ruins, which led to a path ahead. So he ran up it. Following the path, he found himself in a place where... Deadeye targets could be seen as far as the eye could see. Grinning, Izuku stepped back, then ran and flew through the area. Swinging like an old comic book hero, he went from one target to another, and another. Swinging and leaping through the area until it ended in a platform with a large beacon on it. It was an ancient ruin, somehow untouched in an area where Pathfinders commenced their training for long periods of time. Perhaps they never found out its purpose. I will have to come back with proper teams to investigate this... There was another stretch leading to a beacon, and a final one leading to a ramp. Falling down to it, he transferred his momentum and inertia into actual form as he ran down it to fly through the air. On the next platform, he saw that there was another pulse. Another life killing pulse from Astra. Running down the gentle slope, he flew across to the next area. There was a small facility next to giant ruins, with the largest statue Izuku had ever seen. It stood almost a mile tall, and was a large man with sharp teeth, just like the rest of the depictions seen throughout the Sussurian ruins. There were too many Wendigos to focus on, so he ran past them, avoiding their strikes as he sought cover behind the statue. As he passed under the statue's legs, Virginia's voice greeted him. It was clearly from when she first arrived. "April 24th, 1943. What is the significance behind the colossal statues found throughout the valley? I find they all look so very... voracious." They do... He kept listening, waiting for the creatures to move on, and they soon did. "I keep returning to the idea of the mythical Si-te-cah, the legendary tribe of cannibalistic giants that roamed North America and came into conflict with the aboriginals. But why would they be worshiped here?" Izuku scanned his surroundings. Hm... I seem to be stuck... "There must be something else to it..." the message ended, but it made Izuku think: Something else to it... that is when he noticed how the floor was weakened, and he could see through some of the stones. That's it! But how to break the floor? The greenette then noticed the stone stairs to his right, circling the statue. That's how. Virginia, you continue to help me, even now. Following the stairs up, he had to use the Icarus Boost to reach the very top of the stone path. It gave him a clear view down. Even at this height, in which he could view almost everything under the amber rays of sunrise, his legs wouldn't break. The suit was just too well designed. Don't fail me now, Fisher. Have your work be good for this! And so, he fell... breaking through the rocks and into more ruins below.
