Did y'all know I have a Genshin fic?

The moment Relon's eyes caught sight of the hundreds of Legion enemies, he could feel his body tighten. As for why, so many thoughts whirled around in his consciousness. He, however, did not have the luxury of tending to his own trauma and ordeals. What came first was saving the people aboard the space station.

"We need to help them!" March spoke, urgency as clear as the horror before them.

Dan Heng felt no need to speak. His own agreement was equally as obvious to determine.

Exchanging a glance, both adults carefully look at Relon himself. No, it wasn't him. It was who was behind him.

Turning around, his eyes soften upon a trembling Silver Wolf having backed away considerably.

"Eina…"

Like a trigger, the gentle tone snapped the girl from whatever stupor she held. Realizing she was the new focus, her head shook.

"I'm fine." She dismisses walking towards Pom-Pom. "Right now, we just need to focus on getting there, right?" She asks, peering over her shoulder.

One quick glance to a worried March told him that she also shared in the hesitancy. Still, every second wasted meant more lives were being harmed if not lost. With a reluctant nod from his second partner along with an unsteady breath at the sight far off in the distance, he answers.

"Yeah. Counting on you, Eina."

"Hmpf, okay then. Let's go, Pom-Pom."

Beeps and boops sounding, she lifts her phone to her ear before vanishing into the next cart. Looking between the departing girl and the group, the small conductor can only blink before it dawns on him.

"Hey, don't order me on my own locomotive!" He exclaims scurrying after the girl.

"She's putting on a brave face." March comments.

"I know. Right now, she's our best bet of getting through… all of that without trouble."

If such a large swarm of Antimatter monsters were outside the station, he could only hope nowhere near as many were inside.

"Can she and Pom-Pom truly guide us through?" Dan Heng wonders.

"Don't worry, Dan Heng." The voice of Himeko speaks up with her ever calm smile. "Pom-Pom alone would likely have little issue with a task such as this with the assistance of say Welt but with Eina, this task will be a rather simple matter."

"Is that so…?" The spearman questions to receive a nod from the cane-haver.

"Hey, I told you all about how nuts Eina's powers are and you're only now questioning her?!"

"I've questioned that topic everytime you brought it up, March." He corrects with his usual blandness. "Still, once we board the station, what next?"

"Isn't it obvious? We save as many people as possible."

"I believe Dan Heng is referring to something else, March."

"Something else?"

"Like why is the Antimatter attacking the station? The Antimatter Legion has no need for anything because all they crave is destruction."

Widening at the comment, her eyes go from Relon to the Welt who nods.

"It is possible this attack is merely a decoy."

"You believe the Legion is using this assault to cover something else?"

"Herta's Space Station holds valuable data but unless the enemy has the means to access it, anything else would be of little interest. Unless someone could access the encryptions."

"Regardless, something caused the Legion to attack, if not just to destroy."

"Then let's do this." Himeko claps, regaining all's attention. "We'll split into two groups. Group One will prioritize eliminating any enemies and saving those aboard the station. Group Two will pinpoint the cause behind this attack and deal with it accordingly."

"So who's going where?"

"March, you, myself and Welt will procure the safety of the workers and clearing out the Legion. Relon, you and Dan Heng will head further into the station and eliminate the hidden threat if there is one."

"Understood/Roger."

"Judging from sight alone, it doesn't seem as though the assault has been going on for long. If something is occurring amidst the chaos, it would likely be further inside."

"What about Pom-Pom and Eina?"

"Pom-Pom can take care of the express. As for Eina…" Himeko hums.

"Either she stays with Pom-Pom or goes with you three."

"But Relon."

"March, her abilities are more useful in the evacuation. And that's if she's willing to even get off the train."

He didn't like it and that look of worry March held told neither did she but their hands were tied. This wasn't a normal mission where they could just walk away. The horrors that scarred Silver Wolf could reopen and that could prove fatal. Something he refused to allow happen.

"We'll see once we reach that point. Everyone, prepare yourselves. We're nearing the swarm!"

Hurrying through the cart towards the engine, the door opens. At their seat guiding the train sits Pom-Pom. Behind them on the floor, goggles on with multiple hovering screens orbiting them sits the girl.

"Sixth and Eighteenth floors have the least amount of numbers…" She mutters to pop her gum. " Hall 2-6A is free right now… Bingo! That'll work."

"What the…"

"I never told you, did I?" March grins to a confused Dan Heng. "Reality screwing isn't the only thing she can do. When it comes to technology and stuff, no one can beat this hacker!"

"A hacker? On top of breaking reality? This girl?"

"I have a name, you know?" Whizzing one screen after another, the accumulated gum blows in tandem with a click on the holographic screen. "The name's Eina. But those in the dark parts of the cosmos call me Silver Wolf. Aka, the number one hacker around. Remember it."

With a snap, Pom-Pom thrusts a lever. Quaking, all steady themselves as the express accelerates. Beyond it, a purplish trail weaves forward.

"What's that?"

"Our ticket to making it. Pom-Pom, stay on it."

"Aye aye! Hang on, this is going to be a bumpy ride."

Hearing another snap from the hacker, multi-colored cubes hover before everyone.

"Grab hold." Silver Wolf beckons, eyes glued to a screen.

Anchoring himself, Relon along with the rest suddenly see lights coming towards them.

"Stay on course."

"But if we do-"

"Trust her." Welt interrupts the spearman. "She knows what she's doing."

Anxiety steadily rising as the beams near, they suddenly fall off to his surprise.

"The Antimatter Legion is a lot of things but grunts like these aren't the brightest with gauging distance." Silver Wolf notes.

"How would you know that?" Dan Heng wonders in slight bafflement.

"Questions for later, hang on!" March exclaims pointing to the easy-following trail to rise in difficulty.

"Think you can follow that, Pom-Pom?"

"Hmpf, I know I can! Hang on to something, everyone!"

"Already are!"

Like that of a roller coaster, twists, turns, loops, ascensions, and inclines later they find the view of the station to be before their eyes.

"Okay, now what? We're surrounded and the path is taking us straight into a wall of enemies?"

"Jeez, you're a lot more talkative when your life is in danger. Definitely taking you off the possible family list." Silver Wolf scoffs in annoyance.

"You already have a list?!"

"Now is not the time!"

"Pom-Pom, punch it would ya?"

"Hehehe, let's goooooo!"

"Is he enjoying this?!"

"Pom-Pom does live for some excitement!" Himeko chuckles next to a stiff Welt.

Taking in the layered lights fire upon them, Relon looks to Silver Wolf as she rises.

"As much as I'm sure you noobs would like to have your first dub, I'm gonna have to say… no." With a lazy lift of her hand, a large cubic portal manifests in front of them.

Entering, colors of every pallet lie all around them. With another snap, the light retracts all at once until pitch-black remains. Seconds pass for a new veil to wash over their vision revealing a new metallic-like setting.

"Where… are we?"

"Aboard Herta's Space Station. The Supply Zone to be specific." She gives a dry look lifting her goggles. "And none of those mobs have breached this section so you can relax, Pom-Pom."

"Many thanks for keeping my train intact, Eina."

"Nuh-uh-uh, badass reality-breaking hacker makes me Silver Wolf. Eina is the normal reality-breaking badass."

"Good to know her ego is still intact as well." March chuckles, relinquishing her hold on the floating cubes.

"Go time, people. We've boarded the station." Nodding, all hurry out and off the train.

"Everyone, be safe!"

"We will!" March bids waving to immediately turn to Silver Wolf. "Um, we'll-"

"Shut it. Nerves are freaking out as is. Relon, catch." She calls digging into a portal to toss two items his way.

"You came prepared." He offers, equipping own techno-blade and goggles.

"Ah! I said shut it. Your comment before we boarded made me play it safe and look where we are now. I'll be keeping my eye on you so don't do anything stupid. Dan Heng, make sure he doesn't or else I'm warping both of you somewhere you won't like. Got it?"

"Eina…"

"Silver Wolf." She corrects.

"You're the best."

"While on that wild ride, I already highlighted the best routes with the least resistance. Of course, that could not be the same now so keep that in mind. Including the source of where a mysterious entity cracked her firewalls. If someone is doing something behind the scene, it'll be near the Master Control Room."

"You overheard our conversation?"

"I have devices on both March and Relon in case anything happens. That or if they ever try to have se-"

"Okay, let's just go already!" March exclaims with a blush.

"After this, we're going pet shopping! I feel that was easily overlooked!"

"We can tend to that after this is all over! Ugh, let's go!" She groans. "You two, be careful!"

"Don't push yourselves if things become hectic!" Himeko advises.

"Yes ma'am!" Both state in unison.

"We have our tasks. Let's go!"

Whirling around, both groups depart along their respective bridges to vanish behind the confines of the doors and into the chaos.

"Everyone…" Memories of the distant past resurfacing, she can only grip her hand in worry. "Be careful…"

Group 1

Stay calm. No matter what. Don't let the images take over. Just focus on the here and now like always.

That was what went through March's mind the moment the doors from the supply zone opened and her eyes lost sight of Relon. Instead, she was met with the gruesome sight of civilians and workers alike running frantically from familiar monsters she wished she wouldn't ever see.

Immediately, Welt took action with Himeko right behind him. Their wordless coordination was a spectacle to behold. Between Welt striking the perfect points as if he had see-through hacks and Himeko following-up with slices like someone ordered pizza, she would think they were in some kind of game tutorial.

Whoa, Silver Wolf was really rubbing off on her. For a moment, her worries vanished as cheers and praises came. If the situation wasn't so grim, she'd take a picture. But they had a job to do.

"Head through the supply area where the train is!" March points. "You can take refuge there!"

Clearly, their thanks were short-lived as every person in one piece or slightly injured had no trouble with dispersing the hall.

"Let's go, you two."

Focus returning ahead, she nods rushing along with the two adults.

She's experienced first-hand horrors countless times but the ones involving human blood and dead carcasses always made her want to puke. Decapitated forms were found separated by mere inches or entire portions of the halls. Others minced like shish kabobs without any hesitation with their own blood the sauce to any starving monster. No matter how they looked, the sight revolted her.

"Up ahead!"

Head returning forward to see crates and portions of the walkway blocked and gone respectively, her eyes catch sight past the blockade to guards fighting against the legion.

"Keep going straight!" Welt orders.

With a movement of his hand atop his cane, the debris is sent away and the door blasted open.

"Keep running!" It was the first thing she could blurt out as she reeled an arrow.

Unleashing the string, it sails in-between both adults to embed itself in the skull of a creature about to reach a worker ending its existence.

"Huh?" One sounds catching their breath as the three intervene. "Who the hell-"

"We're member of the Astral Express. We're here to help." Himeko quickly explains before once more, both adults take action.

It was truly like a dance with the way both fought together. Welt's knowledgeable mind filled with combat experience and Himeko's unique fighting style made both read the other's movements without the need to utter a single word. Light energy and fire devastated the opposition with mere moments.

"Good work, Welt." She compliments wiping at sweat.

"Same to you."

"All the help's appreciated." The chief notes. "We're scattered so we're going on ahead. Please, help the others in the Base Zone."

Wasting no time for a response, he and the workers rush off down the hall.

"Wai- Darn." March slumps. "Well?"

"You heard him. They need help there so that's where we're going next."

In agreement, they took off.

"Hey, Silver Wolf." She calls digging into her pocket pulling out an earpiece device. "How are Relon and Dan Heng doing?"

"They fine. Relon's luck just… keeps slowing them down. But they're fine so far."

"I figured. It's Relon, after all. Plus, he has Dan Heng and he's super good too!"

"But can he beat Goku?"

One bland expression and a groan was all Silver Wolf needed to know.

Group 2

"Where the hell did this many come from?!" Dan Heng grunts maneuvering around two enemies to pierce through both. Didn't Eina-"

"Silver Wolf!" Relon corrects, cutting an enemy down.

"Not the time! Didn't Silver Wolf say this was the easiest route?!"

"At the time she checked, yes!" Digital blade shifting to firing-mode, golden spheres launch blasting through the legion's own attacks disintegrating the opposing side for more to take their place. "We just need…" He pauses, ducking a swing of a monster's blade to piece it before stepping away. "To keep moving!" Looking ahead, his eye twitches as more monsters close in.

"At this rate we'll miss our window…!"

Feeling a surge of anger dwelling far beneath, he relents.

"Jump!" He orders reeling back his glowing hand.

"What're you-"

"Now!"

Complying, Dan Heng can only watch out his peripheral as the entire floor crumbles along with the monsters. Having jumped against the wall embedding his blade, both can only watch as the monsters vanish into the depths below.

"I wonder how far that goes." Relon comments.

"Here's to hoping we don't find out the hard way."

"Wouldn't be the first time for me."

"Silver Wolf?"

"Yup." Relon rolls swinging to the structured flooring. "No beating her when she's determined." He offers a hand to help the male level himself.

Taking off, Relon glances out a transparent window to their destination highlight itself several floors up.

"You three are a lot alike."

"I get Eina but where does March fit in this?"

"You all bring up random topics during dire situations."

"Ah, well, it helps calm our nerves. But I'll take that as a compliment! We're already entering the Storage Zone so it shouldn't be far now."

Out in the open space, they hurry for the elevator for dark matter to materialize.

"Damn it! If these waves keep stopping us, then we'll never make it!" Relon growls, digital-blade humming to life as an antimatter monster resembling a centaur takes aim at both.

"Then let's make this quick!"

Bellowing an inhuman cry, the arrow begins to swirl in dark matter. Unleashing the attack, a tremor erupts for smoke to follow.

Carefully lowering its weak, the creature surveys the still area its prey was. From the cover of the smoke, a dim glow begins to manifest.

Immediately, it rears back another arrow for Dan Heng to emerge approaching. Ceasing focused attack, it shifts to rapid fire strikes.

Parrying each, he vaults over the creature. About to strike its weak spot, his eyes catch the hind legs reer back. Clicking in annoyance, he readies himself to block as the force sends him rolling to stop before the elevator.

Turning around, it takes aim.

"Aren't you forgetting something?" He calls out.

In response, its mind returns to the earlier glimmer. Turning to the now empty spot, its instincts raise up.

"Gotcha!"

All it can make out is the gleaming gold as its consciousness fades.

With a snap of his hand, the silvery-black blood is sent off his elongated blade. Whirring, its size returns to normal before deactivating. Uncaringly, Relon turns around from the split creature before a large plume of dark particles erupts.

"Thanks for the cover."

Clicking the elevator, a green light emits among the screen as does a chime in affirmation.

Silently looking at the male currently clenching his chest, Dan Heng lifts up to the elevator slowly descending their way.

"Are you okay?"

"I'm…" He forces out a breath. "Fine. I have a… bad history with the Antimatter Legion is all. Just being near them does stuff to me."

"That explains how Silver Wolf knew their aim was bad."

Looking to the spearman not meet his gaze, Relon lifts up to their nearing ride.

"You are dangerously perceptive, you know that?"

"... I've been told." Buzzing its arrival, both waste no time in entering. "How are the others?"

Humming in thought, a few buttons later he gets his answer.

"Tending to smaller swarms and finding actual people. Given our route has had more and their apparently less, that means our hypothesis on there being an actual culprit and what Silver Wolf caught may hold true after all."

Clicking a button for his weapon to activate before shifting to long-range, Dan Heng moves behind the male.

Taking a deep breath, Relon aims at the entrance. Slowing to a stop, it churns open for dozens of monsters to turn their way. Firing, a single golden orb barrels through until it hits a batch of monsters exploding in a golden explosion.

"All the more reason we need to hurry." Dan Heng notes.

The sooner this ended, the sooner Eina could get away from this horror-fueled place.

Group 1

Silver Wolf seriously had to question where the hundreds of creatures she recorded while doing her hacking were. Hands seemingly blurring before their very eyes, Pom-Pom long since gave up instead scouting the area. Oh.

"Relon's luck is dumb." She blinks as the surveillance feeds show some enemies diverting towards him.

If she didn't know any better, she'd say he was attracting them but he hadn't done a certain thing to warrant that so this was just his crappy luck at play.

"Note to self; adjust personal control to better handle spur-of-the-moment emergencies."

"You wouldn't have to do that if-"

"Are you trying to say something?" She bats her girlfriend an eye through the screen.

"Nnnnnnnnope!"

"Hmpf, just because you're right doesn't mean I wanna hear it." She mutters.

Stopping at the center of the lower floors, they reach the elevator. With a click, the console blinks green.

"Wow, that's lucky for us, huh?"

"Normally, the stairs would be preferred but…" Welt mumbles to die off.

"Those guys don't know where it is, do they?" Silver Wolf deadpans to earn a chuckle from March.

Hearing a cry, all look up armed at the ready to comically watch as monsters descend past them. The four can only blink at one another opting to enter their ride descending downwards.

"Relon." All surmise in unison.

Something like that definitely had Relon written on it. Yup. No need to further question it.

"To…" A gentle ding comes as the doors open to the chaos.

"The Base Zone. Scatter but be cautious!" Welt orders, he and Himeko already spreading to the corners assisting workers.

"That leaves us to take care of what's ahead!"

"You mean yourself, right?"

"In spirit!" March beams manifesting her bow to strike at two unsuspecting monsters.

It was the most obvious thing but given the circumstances, she saying that to hype herself up despite the gruesome scene they've stumbled upon. Still, she was acting like a total badass. Whether the others would agree or not.

Rolling over the back of one, she snaps a quickshot at it and the previous one before backflipping away from a third pouncing at her.

"Nice try!"

Ending its attempt and any future ones, she takes off once more.

Calm and collected, her studying eye honed with the assistance of Relon and Silver Wolf was like a veteran's now. Catching the attacking enemies all at once, her hand extends to each worker as the attacks seemingly fail. Expanding on the opportunity, she withdraws several bows to follow-up each shot accordingly.

"Someone's popping off."

Basking in the compliment by her lover, it flees as screams enter her auditory zone.

Reaching the railing peering down at a bunch of injured civilians, she catches a swarm of Antimatter steadily approaching a group of workers.

"HEY!"

One foot already on the railing, she leaps. Manifesting a single bow, it transitions to blue and then through several different shades.

"Glacial Cascade!" Unleashing the bow, it bursts into dozens upon dozens of Pom-Pom-like figures before they pelt each and every enemy before exploding into blue and black particles.

Landing, she smirks at her work. She was truly the badassest of badasses.

"Poser."

Aaaaaaaand ego hurt. Again.

"Seems that's the last of them. Chalk another up for the Lucinance Household." She decides to comment for a distracted hum to follow.

Turning back to meet both adults having already finished off the remainder of enemies, she couldn't help but feel miffed at their pace compared to her own. It was like that of a co-op game, the experienced player always held the edge. Wow, Eina had really rubbed off on her more than she originally thought.

"How are things over here?" Himeko asks.

"A few injured but none seem too bad. How are things on your end?" At this, silence was met. "Gotcha…" She breathes.

"We can only be thankful for saving who we could." Nodding as both go to inspect the group, a mumble from Silver Wolf catches her attention.

"No…" She mutters. "No, no, no! Shit!" Following the curse, frantic steps echo as the line cuts.

"Silver Wolf?" She calls to receive nothing in response. "Hey, Eina?!"

In front of her opens a digital portal.

"MARCH!"

"Silver Wolf?! What's happening?!" The voices of Himeko and Welt didn't matter.

To Silver Wolf, her panic couldn't be any clearly written. It was because of what she saw on Relon's end that made her come here in such a pace that she couldn't waste seconds speaking.

Messages could only be conveyed with the proper understanding. Relon and her were in-sync the moment they met. The worries March spoke of… a voice she despised in the back of her head despite Silver Wolf not acting herself. Instead, precious seconds were spent coming here because of her own self-doubt and fear.

The desperation in her voice was the only way on such short notice to make March realize the severity of the situation. March had every right to pause and wait for the adults to catch up. She should have done that. Silver Wolf didn't want her to but she had every reason to.

But what Relon spoke of on them all being on the same page wasn't wrong and she truly believed that. She wanted to believe in that and Silver Wolf called out to her and said nothing else. Right here, in this crucial moment, she chose to believe that Silver Wolf understood and vice versa. They could reach that level in spite of their lack of time together.

The mere sight of March lunging, arm extended, for her told that any consequence could go straight to hell. They didn't have seconds to explain nor bring up random ass topics. Silver Wolf knew she chose right in entrusting her heart to this girl.

Relon, and likely Dan Heng, were in danger and they needed help now!

"Wait!"

"Relon's in danger! We can't!" March shouted back.

Before any questions could be raised, their hands touched. Gone in cubic particles were the two girls.

Group 2

Relon honestly wished he had asked just how many enemies Silver Wolf had spotted during her hacking because the numbers before paled in comparison. And it was just the numbers that now threw the duo off.

As huge of a wave of enemies as they had just combatted, that was it. No reinforcements, no late arrivals. Everything had gone deafly quiet. Hence why he wished he knew where they had gone.

"It's like every monster just up and vanished..."

"That either means something worse is ahead or something else entirely is going on. Neither are good for us."

Stopping at a corner to peer down the hall at an open door, Relon looks back to receive a nod. Mentally preparing himself for whatever is to come, he descends down the hall with Dan Heng in tow.

With every step, the voice in the back of his head spoke louder and louder.

Caution. Pain. Anger. Danger. Death.

With every step forward, it became harder to press forward. Unconsciously, he fell in line with Dan Heng. Unknowingly, a familiar ache began to rise as they reached the room. Everything about the path before Relon screamed at him to avert elsewhere.

So distracted by the suffocating sensation, Relon hadn't even realized that their seemingly endless trek down the hall had ended.

It wasn't until it was too late that his consciousness took notice of the nature his mind and body would react to certain moments. If only he had focused on it sooner… he may not have come face-to-face with two individuals capable of ending his very existence.

"My, my, it's been a while Little Red~. We were certainly surprised to find out you and Silver Wolf were here. Though it's not entirely a bad thing~."

"Kafka… And I see you're not alone either." Eye shifting to the silent male, his worries only skyrocket at the bloodthirsty glint in the man's eyes.

"Blade…" Eyes shifting to a clearly weary Dan Heng call out, a grunt recaptures his focus.

How Dan Heng knew Blade would have to wait.

"To think such an opportunity would come right to me…" Eyes snapping back at Blade's gravelly voice, Relon watches as he steps forward unsheathing his out corrupted sword. "Kafka…"

"Fine, don't take too long Bladie."

"Relon, I couldn't thank you for that time…" He begins, greenish-black gusts of power manifesting around him.

"What is he talking about?!"

"Save your breath. What happened was an accident! You'd think anyone with common sense would give a crazed lunatic such power?!"

"Oh… the truth couldn't be any more visible upon that pale expression you wear." With a single step in tandem with the unveiling of that cold, sinister, smirk, the floor cracks all around them. "Destruction and Nihility… Just as you and Silver Wolf walk such paths, now do we. And it's all thanks… to you."

"Shut it!" Fed up, Relon fires for his shot for Blade to cleave it in two with ease.

Smirking, he vanishes.

"Where-"

Seemingly instantaneous, both registered his swift movement to halt in the space between them. As though time had suddenly slowed, they could only widen.

"Your very purpose as well as Silver Wolf's gave birth to mine and Kafka's hidden potential. I must thank you, truly. Our convergence is what has allowed this moment in our lives to intersect. One's fate can equal many and many…" He pauses to shift his glinting eye at Dan Heng. "Can equal one!"

"Dan Heng!" Just as slow as time trickled by, it sped back to normal.

Barely blocking a kick, Relon's sent across the room. Head reeling from the force, the clashing of metal draws his eyes up.

"Ever since you committed that sin, I've lived by one testament and only one. Of five… three must pay the price!"

"Tch!"

"Enough… of your vague angsty one-liners!" Relon growls taking aim.

"Now, now, we both know it isn't polite to ignore a damsel in distress~."

Hair standing on end, he rotates his body to narrowly block Kafka's blade.

"Sadistic as ever…!"

"Oh, come now, we rarely get to see each other. I've missed our chatting, Little Red~." Slowly lifting her gun, Relon snaps his glowing hand.

Bullets and keys splatter against the ground.

"We can catch up all you want after you're apprehended!"

Pursing her lips, she peers past their own struggle at the one in the hall.

"Are you sure you should be worrying about little old me?" She wonders, flirtation dead as he dares to give a glance behind.

"I've waited so long!" Blade shouts blurring in front of the male.

Forms circling the other, a gust of wind begins to manifest. Seeing his opening, Dan Heng plunges forth. The soft sound of flesh pierces his ears and Blade's chest.

"Finally…" He pants, arms clearly shaking in distraught.

"Finally what?" Snapping up to the crazed smile, he immediately moves back only for Blade's hand to grip his hair pulling him cnetimeters from his own face. "What's wrong, Dan Heng? Surely, you haven't forgotten this curse you caused! Well? HAVE YOU?!"

The sheer horror Dan Heng felt as Blade forced his spear deeper through his own body made his own insides churn.

"I know you're holding back! If you won't give me what I want, then I'll force it out of you!"

Dan Heng was struggling badly.

"How about a deal?" Kafka speaks as she lazily switches guns.

"Huh?"

"On the count of three, we stop this endly clash. I get what I need and you can help your friend. He certainly needs it."

"You've got to be joking!"

"You and Silver Wolf did say I was good at making compromises." She shrugs.

"Stop that! Stop acting as though we know each other!"

"Don't we? We spent plenty of time together. Look, we can argue as long as you want~. It's not looking good for him though."

"Why are you doing this?"

"You'll need to be more specific, cutie."

"Don't play with me, Kafka!" If he wasn't focused on living at the moment, he would have gawked at the slight pout the woman responds with.

"Consider this the start to my tab I owe you both. If I were you, I'd take it. Ready?"

"Wait, I haven't-"

"Three…"

His own teeth clench as he looks back to catch Dan Heng receive a slash on his cheek.

"Two…"

Shit, there wasn't time to decide!

"One…"

"Damn it!"

"Zero."

At once, both cease. Smiling at the male, he whirls around only to collide with green. Body banging against the cold, metallic, floor, he can only gasp for breath as his goggles go clanking a short distance away.

"Dan Heng… speak to me…! Hey!" He breathes, removing the male from him. "Of course Kafka had something like that planned."

"What's… he doing?" Dan Heng gasps, something that allows momentary relief to settle in.

Lifting up to the swordsman peering a short ways away, Relon couldn't hide his grimace.

"He's just standing there… menacingly."

"Tch, of course he is… And her?"

Oh shit!

Once again turning behind, he widens as two spheres of light manifest from the consoles. What happens next stuns Relon to his core. As if from data itself, two humans appear. One male and another female.

"Twins?" Dan Heng winces.

"Don't tell me that those are…?!"

"Stellerons? Quite right you would be~. Now, you're likely wondering why such things are on board. Well, not all questions can be answered. Now that you're here, Little Red, our plan will be easier."

The way she said that… He didn't like it.

"What do you mean…?"

Lips curving ever so slightly upwards, the fear in his chest only rises as she jams both into the two bodies.

"Hurry up, Kafka, I tire of waiting!"

"Calm down, Bladie. Some things are better meant to be shown rather than explained." With a flick of her wrist, a small device exits her wrist and smoothly into her hand. "Now then, what better candidate than the Progenitors of Destruction and Nihility themself~?"

"What're-"

Cut off by a portal appearing before them, Kafka instinctively tilts her head out of the way of an arrow as both girls come out.

"The hell… are you two doing here?!"

"Saving you, what else?!" March snaps taking notice of Blade to take aim.

"It's been a while, Silver Wolfy~."

"Ugh, your nicknames still have terrible taste."

"So, you're back in the field are you?" Blade speaks up walking forward as Dan Heng tenses. "I suppose your cowardice is to be commended."

"Pfft, yeah right. I'm only here because of the crap you two brought to the station. After this, I'm cuddling with Relon and March on the couch and we're binging another movie series. Cringe-filled or not!"

"Ahh, I wanna join that~. Does that famous couch of yours have room for one more~?"

"Sorry, no wanted criminals are allowed on our couch, much less in our house." She dismisses getting in front of Relon.

"Awe, a pity."

"We… need…" Relon attempts only to falter.

Damn it, he couldn't breathe like this!

"Relon, what's wrong?! And why did she call you a Progenitor?"

"It's Bladie."

Like a blade cutting through human flesh, no pun intended, all eyes went to the calm and collected criminal.

"Relon bleeds yellow. Surely, that tells you something's off about him, wouldn't you say?"

"Shut… up… Kafka!"

"Giving orders in your state won't do any good, Little Red. Unless you use that power of yours, being around the Antimatter will only cause greater pain."

"I said… screw off."

"The thanks I get for worry over someone so precious." She sighs. "Oh well, everything that needs to be said can come after."

"After what?" The hacker wonders with narrowed eyes.

"After this of course~." She purs twirling a single finger.

All eyes couldn't help but question what she meant. Yet, with every rotation, their eyes carefully looked to the single action repeat itself. By the sixth roll, the thin thread reflected against the lighting.

"MOVE!" Silver Wolf exclaimed for purple wiring to manifest seemingly out of nowhere before slinging March and Dan Heng out of the room past Blade.

"MARCH! DAN HENG!" Relon calls as Kafka leaps over and out the room.

As she does, her blade catches the top of Silver Wolf's shoulder.

"Ack!" She winces as purple blood seeps from her wound.

Giving chase, a single snap of her fingers is all it takes for the door to lock them in. Attempting to break out, his efforts prove useless.

"Eina!"

"I'm… on it!"

Before she could act however, that same tiny device held by Kafka catches her eye. A monotone beep sounds before with a snap, a flash explodes. What follows lies two cries of agony. Such sounds in synchronicity sends a bone chilling sensation down the archer's spine.

"EINA! RELON! OUT OF OUR WAY!" March shouts firing arrow after arrow for Blade to cut each down with no effort. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO THEM?!"

"Something that is required of course. Now, stand there and watch, little girl."

"As if! Dan Heng, get up! NOW!"

It was a first hearing March like this but he wouldn't refute the demand. This chance encounter was a grave one but still one they couldn't allow slip.

"I'm… with you!"

"Tell me, Inhibitor Lunae. Simple, normal, humans bleed red. Not yellow or purple!"

"I wouldn't have a problem given Bladie's condition but if it helps, I am sorry about Little Red." Kafka mumbles uncaringly.

Unfathomable grip sounding from her bow, anger lays itself upon the young woman. Breathing accelerating to a still halt, she walks forward.

"March?! Hey-"

"Shut up."

It was a cold order. Both metaphorically and physically. The cold leer he was given from the corner of her blue-pink eye made all sense to fight fleeting. Slowly, an aura of blue begins to seep out.

"Oh? Are you also an Aeon Child, little girl?" It was pure curiosity in the face of an overwhelming force and she could tell there would be plenty of amusement for the both of them.

"Who know…? And honestly…" Her eyes snap up to the descending blades for a cling to resound. "I don't care!" Having blocked with her reinforced arm, she pushes both off, eyes immediately going to Kafka.

Hand having discarded her bow, she swings her fist at the awestruck woman for Blade to push her out of the way. A bone-rattling sound erupts as March slams the swordsman into the wall. Unperturbed by the resistance, she sends him through as he ragdolls onto a platform.

"Whoa… March…"

Seriously, he hadn't known the girl to have such a power. One of the people behind a history of pain and isolation had just been defeated with a single blow!

Lost in his own awe, he eyes only then realized whatever power she used had already vanished as quickly as it had come. Body on the move, narrowly parries the attempted slash.

"Idiot… You're reckless…!" He grimaces to be sent away along with her.

Whatever power-up that was had caused the girl to already heave over for breath.

"Girly…" Kafka calls out, the first time she's spoken without a smile. "You shouldn't have done that." Only one step could be achieved before the entire area shook once more.

All eyes in that moment realized the prior event had been forgotten. Whirling back, blade already brought up, an inhuman force slams into her sending her out the wall and over Blade. Heels skidding against the ground, her sparks fly as her blade digs into the floor. Halting with an audible thud against the elevator, her daze is snapped away to a glowing fist centimeters from her fair skin.

She dodged it. Likely the closest dodge she's made in her entire life but she did it. In doing so, the entire elevator was blasted away effortlessly. It was only now that she caught her breath inspecting the glowing individual.

"Well, Little Red," she managed a proud smirk. "I suppose I should call you Little Yellow now."

Unresponsive, the male only retracts his fist as a steady breath exudes through his parted lips.

"Nanook, this is my fight." The layered voice spoke aloud to no one in particular but she understood clearly.

The Aeon had attacked her. Correction; it had attempted to kill her. If it was all the Aeon then she would have perished. But in that moment where her eyes caught sight of the male and her mind processed the urge to dodge; he had saved her. Relon Lucinance had given her that moment to live.

Slowly, the enormous yellow aura dims drastically until it is but an outline. With it, along with the smoke fading, his appearance becomes visible.

Red and black attire torn, ripped, and burnt from any previous battles and that explosion, his physical appearance is the most noticeable. Scruffy black hair now has white highlights at the ends. His vermilion eyes she's admired numerous times before no longer remains. In their place, a pair of yellow orbs. Finally, his own tanned skin is now a few shades darker.

Silently, like a ghost, he looked her way. The sheer power the child before her held once upon a time compared to now was a stark difference. No control, destructive capabilities running amok… How he was now told her much of his efforts to better himself were fruitful. Alas…

"Things can never be so simple I suppose."

Once again, he saved her. How many debts had she racked against the male before her? Three? She would have to even those out at some point. But not today.

"Kafka..." He struggled to say her own name while still having the Aeon's residual power.

She truly adored that nature of his. If only… No. The time for that had passed. It was no longer just the two of them.

Eyes cutting to the hole, out steps the other Aeon Child she's had the pleasure of knowing.

"Good of you to join us, Silver Wolf."

Much like the male, her own appearance had bloody stains and burn marks. No longer gray nor in its usual spiral, her hair, now a deep purplish color that reflects the cosmos itself, flows calmly in every direction. With white eyes void of everything but a lone purple pupil, a single step causes rifts all over the hall to manifest.

"Eina." The voice of Relon was cautious with its tone. Within that line of tone treaded a warning. Not to the Stellaron Hunter but to his lover.

"Unlike you two, IX and I work just fine together." She speaks as the portals vanish one by one. Her own hair reverts to its gray color though, like Relon, signs of her Aeon powers remain at the ends of her hair tips.

Truly, both had come a long way from their last encounter…

"How's your wound?"

Hand slowly lifting to his chest, it lowers.

"He took care of it."

"I see." A breath of relief comes before her expression shifts. "Blade, how long do you intend to lay there?" As if resurrected, his eyes snap awake before he's on his feet. Momentarily looking at the beaten Dan Heng past Silver Wolf, he steps towards them.

"Listen, Bladie." She calls for the man to halt. "We've finished our objective. Stay ready, you two. Things are being put into motion…"

Without any room for argument, she leans back, falling off the platform with Blade close behind. Watching strings manifest, both vanish on one of the floors before.

"Are you sure it's okay to let them go?"

"We repelled them. Capturing them as we are now wouldn't be favorable." He speaks walking towards the two.

"For of us or them?"

Stopping, his power wanes before vanishing.

"For everyone."

Eyes gazing one last time down below, she steps over the edge and into a digital rift.

Appearing beside the male as he climbs through, both look to March and Dan Heng. The remaining cosmic coloration fades away as does her body's purple outline.

"You did it again, didn't you?" Eina chides, offering the seated girl a hand.

"You're one to talk." She puffs her cheek in mock offense.

"Coming from the one who dumped all of their power into a single punch. You know that guy is immortal, right?"

"He is?!" All she can do is watch the hacker facepalm. "That explains how he got back up…"

"Killed a guy without hesitation and doesn't even bat an eye at him getting up."

"Hey! I was caught in a fit of rage!"

"That's Relon's excuse. You and I can't say that."

"March, please use that in moderation like what we do." Relon finally speaks up.

"I've been practicing, you know…"

"Practice is one thing but actually implementing it into real combat is another." Silver Wolf says with crossed arms.

"Eina." Relon remarks for her eyes to eventually roll after a momentary standoff.

"Still, nice work March. You too, Dan Heng."

Relenting in a satisfied smile, Dan Heng doesn't immediately respond.

"We got out of that in one piece more or less. All that's left is…"

Eyes going in the direction of the room, they enter to pause overlooking the dormant individuals.

"What are we going to do with them?"

"Can't leave them. Especially given who they're related to."

"Before that, we should wake them." March offers.

Kneeling down, Relon and Silver Wolf touch the two respectively for their eyes to flutter open. Stepping away as both slowly sit up, they blink several times before looking at the other.

"Uh, what now?" March wonders.

"First we need to know if they can communicate." Dan Heng answers.

"Ooh, hey, can either of you talk?"

Watching the male open his mouth as if to test it, sound exits from him.

"Y-Yeah… Where are we…?"

"A better question is who are we?" The girl says holding her head.

"Amnesia?" Silver Wolf wonders.

"Kafka did manifest them out of nowhere so maybe."

"Kafka!" Both gasp.

"Well, that's a trigger word." Silver Wolf blinks. "Recognize that name?"

"I… can't recall." The male sighs.

"Neither can I…"

"What's the plan, Relon?"

"We've solved the ulterior motives behind the Stellaron Hunters and they're probably long gone by now. So assisting in securing the civilians and workers are still our priority."

"We've checked the base area. OH CRAP!"

"What?!"

"We left without saying anything to Welt and Himeko!"

"Of for Aeon's sake." Relon groans. "Why?"

"You were hunched over with Kafka about to do who knows what!" Silver Wolf points over to the charred goggle before at the male. "How did that even happen?!"

"Blade and her put us in a bad spot. Look, now isn't the time." He eases. "Can you both stand?" He offers both hands which the twins take.

With a heave, they get to their feet.

"Next question." Silver Wolf calls, digging into a rift. "Can either of you fight?"

Station Halls

Has the mention of logic and Silver Wolf not coexisting come up? Because Relon was nearly certain it had but in case not, they did not at all work together.

Weapons, right? He and Silver Wolf had their digital blade, techno-blade, whatever. It was a device that was a blade but also shot their powers like blasts. Cool. March has an arrow. Simple. Dan Heng has a spear. Standard weapon amongst many others.

So he couldn't for the life of him, and he knew he would likely never, understand why the hell the first things she grabbed were a bat and a boomerang. The latter was metal with sharp edges but the sheer sense it made was unfathomable.

Also, that device Kafka used on them? Yeah, that was for the twins. Apparently, it was some kind of power transfer because with no warning or anything. The girl, who was apparently Stelle, suddenly learned how to amplify the power of Destruction he gave her. One glowing bat showcase later and the horde of enemies got sent on a one way trip to wherever the hell they came.

"Huh. Neat." Was all Stelle could offer at the dumbfounded display of power.

Which led to the next point in his rant. Her brother. Aka Caelus. The one who grabbed Silver Wolf's Nihility. Whereas his sister was calm and stoic in her understanding of both herself and everything, he was basically another March. Eager and full of energy.

"Check this out!"

Whether he was implanted with remarkable accuracy or it was dumb luck, the mere fact that his boomerang barreled through a line of 13 enemies before returning to him. Seemingly on instinct, he snapped for the wounds to expand to ridiculous size before back-to-back puffs of particles exploded.

Having a girlfriend with their own pocket dimension was one thing but there was a time where one had to call into question what all was actually in there. Thus, here they were. Maneuvering the halls blazing through any unfortunate foes in their path.

"Four up ahead!"

"Sis, combo attack!" Caelus grins, taking the lead for Stelle to nod.

Boomerang glimmering in purple, he flicks it towards the girl who skids into a batter's stance. With a smack, it goes forward like a bullet turning the line of four into chopped sushi.

"Heh, alright!" A victorious shout leaves Caelus' face as he does a victory pose. "Good work, sis!"

"There's not a single brain cell in there." Silver Wolf deadpans from the safety of Relon and March.

"We're just happy we can help." Stelle offers.

"Much is appreciated." Relon thanks.

"Point the bad guys out and we'll clean house!"

"It's at least relieving to have more help." March smiles.

"Still, I've started noticing the Antimatter Legion hesitate in attacking us unlike before." Dan Heng comments.

"Oh, that's because of Relon." March waves off to pause. "Or I guess Stelle now. Well, we can figure out all that later."

"Long story short, the thing in Relon and a portion of it in Stelle is what the Legion acknowledges so it's like they're attacking their boss." Silver Wolf explains.

"The reason that wasn't the case before was because I didn't use that power. Even now, remnants of it remain even though I'm not using it."

"Nanook…" Dan Heng mumbles to receive a worried look from March.

"Again, we can discuss everything after we save the station." Relon disregards looking ahead. "The last place to check is the Master Control Zone up ahead. Come on!"

Master Control Zone

Immediately upon entry, chaos and mayhem littered the area. Bloody bodies laid sprawled out in odd places at even odder angles. Fighting was occurring all over the place. Gunfire, beams, explosions and everything else occurred everywhere rendering time for planning worthless. Humans and monsters alike were either dropping or poofing out of existence.

"We need to help them!"

"Let's go!"

About to go after the twins, a hand grabs his wrist as well as March's. Looking back, they meet the fearful visage of Silver Wolf.

"Can we do it?"

Immediately it clicked. That strong front of her had finally ended. But now wasn't the time to freeze.

"We're going to do it." March corrected looking into her eyes. "Don't fight. Just save them. Leave the rest to us, okay?"

That was all they needed to do. That was all she needed to do.

"But-"

"We're not failing this time, Eina. You with me?" He had to be somewhat harsh to snap her form her negativity. Just a little, he saw her confidence come back. Even if it was a little, a nod was all it took. "Good. Like Jaden says in Yu-gi-oh…" He begins dropping her goggles onto her face. "Let's get our game on!"

"That is so not the time!" March groans, taking hold of Silver Wolf's hand and rushing up the staircase.

Pivoting with Destruction energy at his feet, he kicks off into the fray. Immediately, his techno-blade manifests about to cleave a stray blast for a digital rift to intercept. Continuing forward, he only has to give a momentary glance at Silver Wolf up above to catch the affirmative nod.

They couldn't fail. They wouldn't fail.

Heading to the center of it all, he makes out two familiar faces.

"Arlan, Asta!"

Head peeking out, the biggest smile of relief graces the director's face. Vaulting over to land cutting a foe away, the monsters hesitate.

"Good to see you." Arlan smiles before returning to their targets.

"Same here. Take it easy, Asta. We got this."

"Relon..." A clearly tired Asta breathed out before nodding. "We're counting on you."

"Ready, Arlan?"

"Of course! On your signal!"

Noting the monsters once again begin their cautionary approach, his gaze hardens.

"Now!"

Rushing forward, both unleash a series of coordinated strikes in repetition before jumping.

"In an instant!" Both quote tracing their hands over their respective blades as lightning and Destruction enhances their power before both surge into the air. "Lightning Tiger Blade!" Both roar striking the ground as yellow electricity surges in all directions striking the opposition.

"Someone's been practicing." Relon offers a temporary reprieve in the form of a fist bump which is happily reciprocated.

"Of course. Glad it came in handy."

"Asta, where do you want everyone?!" He questions rejoining the girl.

"We need to head for the supply area where the evacuation ships are. Only problem is the Legion still outside." She grimaces.

"That… may not be an issue." The voice of Eina speaks, hopping out a rift. "I… reluctantly made a call."

"Eina, you're here too?!" Both Asta and Arlan gasp in astonishment.

"Reluctantly." She reiterates.

"When?!" Relon gawks interrupting any chance at further derailment.

"During our trip here." She says, eyes going up.

Following her trail, all three take sight of a small ship eliminating the army with ease. A very familiar ship.

"You actually called her up?!"

"Better safe than sorry! Where am I warping people?!"

"Get them to the front area!" Asta points for the hacker to nod opening a portal before vanishing into one herself.

"You two get going, we'll start sending them your way."

Jumping into the fray where the twins lie, he lands in a crouch to rush forward. Slicing the torso of one monster, he parries a slash to embed his brimming blade through its chest. Leaping to kick off the creature, he maneuvers out of the way of silver energy blasts before taking aim. With a click, the blade shifts to a gun before firing a blast of yellow energy at a squadron of enemies.

"Stelle, Caelus, head for the front! That's where Eina's taking everyone!"

"Got it!"

Feeling the rushing sound of something behind, a single arrow strikes the creature down before it vanishes. A momentary glance at March and Eina high up on a platform is all he gives before returning into the fray.

Feet glowing as a swarm surrounds him, he launches destroying everything around. Airborne, he spots another group slowly overwhelming Dan Heng.

"Oi!" He shouts for the spearman to glance up. "Duck!" With no time to waste, he drops as Relon lands.

Spinning like a dime, Destruction courses into the blade extending its range for all around to be decapitated in one fell swipe.

"Thanks…"

"Help out the twins." Despite it not being a recommendation, his tone was surprisingly calm.

With a reluctant breath followed by a nod, he veered off the section and towards the twins.

Relon was conscious of his early fatigue due to Blade. Whatever that story was about would be delved upon at a later point.

Catching a portal out the corner of his eye swallow a civilian, more and more begin to spawn. They just needed to keep up the pace. Eyes scanning for the mob, he catches it along with a girl fending off as best she can. Vaulting over the railing to the lower level, he lands before the girl.

"You okay?"

"Alive, aren't we?" She manages out, firing at another monster.

We?

Catching something out his peripheral, a spinning object sends the foe away before it is put down with a searing hole to its skull.

A trotter as a pet? That was a first. And fire, huh…

"Thanks for the assist, Numby."

Hearing a screech, their attention goes to the approaching foes.

"They just keep coming." She groans for Relon to step forward. "Hey, what are-"

Without any warning, he takes aim to fire a golden sphere. Through each, a plume of gold expands as nothing remains.

"Whoa…" As if reacting to her mere speech, another wave barrels in.

"Tch!"

Turning to her, he tosses the trotter.

"What're you- H-Hey!" She exclaims as he picks her up bridal-style.

"Sorry, no time!" Power coursing to his feet, he launches off destroying the platform.

"HOLY CRAP!" She screams clutching the trotter and him as they touch the roof.

Momentarily noticing March and Eina vanish from a swarm, they drop.

"Hey, hey, hey, hey, HEY!" Entering a sudden portal to slide out, her voice halts. "What… just… happened?" She blinks as he puts her down. "Numby, we're alive!" She breathes out as Asta consoles the girl.

"That everyone?"

"That's alive, yeah." Caelus answers.

"Okay, now what?" Stelle asks.

"Think you can get us to the Astral Express?" He offers a glance to Silver Wolf.

A moment of inner struggle and a worried shake comes as her answer.

"I can't but… IX can."

Cosmic color begins to fill her hair as a deafening rumble like thunder gains their attention ceasing her transformation.

"What was that?" March wonders for something to click in Silver Wolf's head.

"She's here!"

"Who?"

As if on cue, a bolt of lighting arcs in the air before descending downward opening a path as a smoke of particles lies in its wake.

"Whoa, look at the length of her sword…!" Her brother awes as the woman approaches.

Purple hair ending at her waist, several fringes with white accents stop at her chin where a portion covers an eye. Wearing a modernized kimono-jacket, its left holds purple patterns atop its baggy sleeve and the right is cut short. With black short and a mixture of black and purple short heels, the clicking against the floor draws all towards both her and her sheathed blade.

Purple eyes ignoring all but two, she bows as though the horde of monsters do not interest her in the slightest.

"Lady Eina, Lord Relon, I came as soon as I received your message."

"Nah, your timing was actually perfect." Silver Wolf gives a grin oozing with confidence once more as the ends of her hair manifest a galactic coat. "Help me out, IX."

Within the back of her consciousness, the voice heeded her plea. Exhaling a breath before shooting her hand up, Silver Wolf's white eyes snap open.

"What is happening?!"

"Just watch, Ms. Topaz." Asta says.

Extending a hand, a surge of purple manifests at their feet. Monster screeching as if in response to her action, they lunge.

"Here they come!" The now named Topaz exclaims aiming her gun as do the others their weapons.

Snapping to face everyone, all drop into color itself.

Supply Zone

Dropping somewhere random would never get old just like hitting something hard. For instance, the ground.

Head wincing, his eyes snap open to find an endless amount of people everywhere. Those close to him scattered about.

"Is this… all the remaining people aboard the space station?" The voice Asta speaks wonders as she helps him up.

Even though the people were bundled up, nearly going out the doors back into the station…

"There's so few…"

And then it boomed. The cries of fear and agony.

"What's happening?!" March calls out attempting to. "I can't see with all these people!"

Forcing his way, he jumps onto the Astral Express to meet both Dan Heng and Acheron having done the same thing. At this, the blood in his body seemingly ceases. People were being mauled, skewered, and killed without any hesitation.

"It's the Legion! They're massacring the civilians!"

"What about the escape pods?!" Asta demands.

"People are still loading in them!" Arlan answers to note of the legion members out in space. "But the enemy is still out there!"

"Tch!" Unsheathing her blade, Acheron blurs out of reality reappearing as a streak of electricity clearing out wave after wave. In the void of space, the silvery antimatter loom ever so closer assaulting the forcefield.

"Stop it…"

It never ends. This action labeled Destruction.

Why wouldn't it just end? What point was there? Who enjoys seeing others suffer for sport?

"Stop it…"

One needs not a cause to bring about change. Mere wanting is enough.

Humans, non-humans, creatures, even Aeons; why must we all fight?!

Because it is in our nature.

"That's wrong… So, so wrong!"

His chest had become so unbearably heavy, it was like an infinite number of blades were piercing his chest at once.

Why?!

Because with power, comes the inability to coexist.

But they're just innocents. Doing their job… They have families…

A small price to pay for what I envision.

No…

That is what it means to destroy. To rid all traces and start anew. Because with Destruction…

"Relon, we need to go!" Dan Heng urges. "RELON!"

With panic and chaos came its aftermath; stability.

"Dan Heng." The sudden voice was enough to make him relinquish his grip only to feel regret come. He had no clue why but that wry, defeated, smile and the tears exiting his golden orbs… he felt an unfathomable amount of sympathy.

The cosmos was a grand, beautiful place. Inhabitants of all kinds co-existed amongst its countless homes. To be killed simply for existing… that was an unquestionable crime and he wouldn't allow it to continue any longer!

"Everything's going to be okay."

"... How?"

"Simple." He wipes the wet strains away as his soft and tender visage departs.

At once his body explodes in yellow. Like a beacon, his fury directs forward. This pain was unbearable but so was the idea of one more innocent person being ruthlessly killed!

"Relon?!" The voices of friends below exclaim in surprise.

Hair transitioning to white, his skin darkens.

"When one inherits the Will of Destruction, they have the ability to not only rid all traces and start anew… but also ensure the future is protected and nurtured."

The power to destroy was both a curse and a blessing. It all depended on who used it. Immediately, he could feel her signature amongst the wave of people. Like a dim light in the dark, Silver Wolf and March stood there with worry, tears, and all.

The time for repercussions would come afterwards. Vanishing in an instant, he appears between it all. The living, the dead, and the murderers.

Elbowing a monster to substitute an electric version of transparency in her place, a snap from Acheron sets it off as the force sends her skidding behind Relon.

"Lord Relon." She immediately bows.

"Acheron, protect Eina."

"Sir!" She acknowledged blurring into mere static before taking arms in front of the two.

"Acheron, what're-"

"Lord Relon has ordered youafterwardr safety and I will ensure nothing comes to pass, milady."

At once, every monster traced their focus onto him only to hesitate before at once, they too bowed. Countless monsters as far back into the metallic halls as the eyes could capture all ceased every action.

To them, he was their leader. To him, they were his enemies. Lives such as theirs were created only to destroy. Not save, not preserve. Only to hunt, find, and cause every negative result one could create through brute force.

"I order you..." The duality of Relon Lucinance and Nanook speeches as their ragged hand lifts to halt at the first creature. "Perish."

From his palm manifested a golden orb. Shimmering white, it expands like a wave. Out the supply zone, through the halls, into the vast areas, and down the endless abyss like waterfalls.

None remained on board the station. He could sense it. The threat inside was eliminated. What remained… was now outside.

Lifting a single hand, a golden light emanates from the palm of his hand once more before it vanishes. Catching a flicker from their eyes, all turn to see the fireworks display occur. One by one, any and all antimatter agents were vanquished leaving the rescue craft out alone.

"They're gone…!"

"It's over…" Silver Wolf breathes lifting her goggles. "Seems the tutorial is finally over for you two." She looks at the twins.

"I… guess?" Stelle tilts her head.

"Seriously? Just like that? But we-"

Cut off by an ear-piercing screech, a silvery figure blurs overhead before coming to a halt.

"Is that a freaking dragon?!" Topaz exclaims as panic erupts once more. "Lady Asta, I highly suggest we retreat and let these guys handle it!"

Not budging nor acknowledging her worries, Asta along with the remaining characters look as Relon floats past them.

"It's okay, Miss Topaz. Relon's got this."

"What… do you mean?"

"Look around." Arlan offers.

Heeding his advice, she does. Even as bodies turned fleeing into the safety of the station, she couldn't move. It wasn't out of fear otherwise her legs would be trembling. Before her likely lied Destruction incarnate in the form of a mythical beast. Its brilliant shimmering body would make any awe at its glorious might. Yet, as they basked in the creature towering them as if they were ants, none had their weapons drawn.

The woman named Acheron that moved like literal lightning and the girls behind her didn't seem the least bit worried. Their faces were just neutral unlike the others. As much sense as that made.

As the dragon settled to hand off the edge… nothing… happened.

"It's not attacking?" Stelle mumbled, exchanging pure confusion with her brother.

"Relon…" Silver Wolf calls, watching the male ascend to eye level with the creature.

"So it obeys him to?" Caelus blinks.

"In simple terms, yeah." March nods.

"Relon has it under control."

Eyes looking to the approaching Welt and Himeko, their own tired visages match the rest of the group's.

"We all made it." March forces a smile. "That's good… right?"

"I want to believe so, March." Welt offers a sincere nod.

Hovering before the creature, it waits silently.

"I cannot allow any more harm to befall innocence itself. Whether that innocence later becomes enveloped in corruption. You understand, don't you?" An audible pitch, like a mixture of a siren and an orca, answers in response.

For once, Relon tilted his head ever so slightly. Moving towards the head, the creature bows forward. Laying a hand on its cranium, it takes only a second for Relon to understand.

"I see… You were created with partial sentience. Capable of discerning right from wrong but guided along the path your instincts dictate to be just…"

The embodiment of calamity would be a fitting description for the power that lied within the creature. Yet, it would be calamity's own thoughts that allowed for change. In recognition of the path it would tread, it wished not instead to follow the individual before it. It was, after all, Relon that spurred it from its trance-like state. It chose with what little manner it could to diverge from its ill fate. And Relon would gladly accept that.

Body shimmering in gold, it condenses over his hand before the light pulsates throughout the creature. Feeling a breeze blow, the others can only look at Relon now on his feet as the power around him ceases.

"If we could reach an understanding like that once, could we do it again Nanook?" Once more, the coo of the towering beast comes as he caresses what of its face he can. "The most we can do for you is take you home."

"Don't you think it needs a name?"

Peering over his shoulder to a tired Silver Wolf sporting her usual coy grin, he matches her as the girl takes her rightful place at his side petting the beast.

"When I said we needed a pet, this isn't what I had in mind. You do know that, right?"

"Well, a unique family needs a unique pet to match their energy."

"If we're going to have something this cute, we have to give it a good name!" March beams taking his other side.

"The fact you have energy to spare. Ugh, where was that back-up gusto a while ago." Silver Wolf deadpans to pause. "Wait, cute?"

"When it comes to cuteness, I can be beaten, bruised, and battered but that won't stop me!"

"Damn. We've fallen in love with a hopeless idiot."

"Hey, take that back!"

Watching their back-and-forth mild banter, he can only chuckle as do the rest.

"Alright then, March. What names do you have?"

Stopping on a dime from her chase, her eyes beam running back to hug the large nose of the beast.

"I can only think of one that would fit." She speaks tenderly, meeting his eyes. "Tear."

"Naming a Doomsday Beast after a trait all humans experience with their emotions. I actually have no smart comment for once. I'm with it."

"As am I. What do you think, my friend?"

Slowly, its head rises before descending.

"That was a nod, right?"

"Definitely a nod."

"Then it's settled. Tear, welcome to the Lucinance Household."

Welp, didn't think I'd be using that list I prepared for when this game's Raiden Mei (Acheron) came out but hey, I ain't complaining.
