Review Response:

Calderoneric758: Because I needed a hate-able person to be Kuroka's king, and I have a Berserk poster on my ceiling. Yes, I do know what Naruto's first sword is.

PauloPT90: Yeah, this story does, but at least Kurama/Kushina's backstory is more solid this time. I am happy with the improvements.

Guest: … Have you ever seen a parent/guardian/teacher ever raise/teach a child? They say stuff like that all the time. Naruto is under ten, so of course adults would say something like that to him.

PkmntrainerCam: Yeah, RIP Miura-Sensei. Its part of the reason why I chose Griffith.

NaruCrazy: Her Injuries prevented travel and they would need to take long breaks for her to be able to travel. So, it would be slow, especially with the material poisoning her being Black Rod.

Spark681: I will, and yeah, I doubt they can too.

Borello: Cool.

Redmen6blight: I know, I chose an evil character to be Kuroka's king, but Griffith works. As for canon, I do believe I am, some details will be altered though so be ready to do a fact check if I fuck up.

Chapter 6: The End

Kamabakka, Crack of Dawn…

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" Naruto screamed as he fell out of a tree after running up it, the chakra in his feet being to much and it blasted him off half way up.

His clones fell off and popped, their experiences returning to Naruto as he clutched his head in pain and the headache.

Short time later…

"I'M BOILING ALIVE!" Naruto shouted as he and his clones sank into the boiling water of the hot spring area, the chakra they used wasn't a strong enough current to keep them standing on the water.

Hour Later…

Naruto and his clones cut fire with their claws.

After that…

Naruto held a bokken before him as he stood in a traditional kendo stance, his Kendo instructor before him.

"Okay, now watch me, Naru." The instructor said, smiling happily as they winked at Naruto, who nodded his head.

Naruto got his ass handed to him the first day of kendo training.

Lunch…

Naruto scarfed down the special meal of the Queendom, knowing that it will make him stronger.

After Lunch…

"Water balloon?" Naruto asked as he looked at the water balloon in his hand, his eyes going up with a confused look as he stared at Jiraiya.

Jiraiya smirked at Naruto's confusion as he held up a second balloon.

"This is the first step in the Rasengan training." Jiraiya said as his balloon started to bubble for several seconds before it burst. "Also, no clones."

"WHAT!" Naruto whined, his ears dropping to the side of his head in disbelief. "BUT I USE MY CLONES FOR EVERYTHING ELSE, PERVY SAGE! WHY CAN'T I USE THEM?"

Jiraiya laughed at Naruto's pain.

"Because your dad created this jutsu without the help of clones, taking three years to create the steps and master it." Jiraiya replied, memories of Minato during his time creating the Rasengan. "Then he taught it to me, and I didn't use the clones either, and so you won't use them either."

"But…"

Jiraiya smacked Naruto.

"No buts, brat. Now do what I just did." Jiraiya ordered.

Naruto glared angrily at Jiraiya but held the balloon up, focusing his chakra into his palm.

Evening…

"… Then at this point," Inazuma said as he wrote on a chalk board. "We add this to find the circumference of the circle…"

Inazuma turned and saw Naruto, slumped in his chair with a snot bubble in his nose.

Irritated, yet calm, Inazuma turned his hand into a long pair of scissor blades and cut Naruto's chair's legs, which fell, startling Naruto.

Next Morning…

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" Naruto screamed as he was blasted off of the tree again.

Four of his clones fell off and popped, their experiences returning to Naruto as he clutched his head in pain and the headache.

But the three clones that didn't fall made it three-fourths of the way before they had to grab some of the branches to stay in the tree.

Short time later…

"I'M BOILING ALIVE!" many clones cried out before popping.

"THIS HURTS!" Naruto whined as he was thigh deep in the boiling hot springs, wading in the water.

Hour Later…

Naruto and his clones cut fire with their claws, it becoming easier to 'cut' the flames without needing to focus for as long.

"FUCK!" Naruto shouted as his head was nearly cracked open, dropping his bokken as he grabbed his head.

"You're doing better, Naru." His instructor said as he helped the boy up. "Now, let's resume our stance."

Naruto, despite the aches in his head, grabbed his bokken and resumed the Kendo stance.

"Yes, sir." Naruto said as he gripped his bokken in his hands.

Lunch…

"MORE PLEASE!" Naruto shouted as he finished his twelve serving of food.

Iva laughed at Naruto's immense appetite while the cooks smiled at the challenge.

After Lunch…

"POP, DAMN YOU, POP!" Naruto shouted as he tried to pop the water balloon with one hand.

The water spun in the clockwise direction, which was his chakra rotation. The balloon expanded slightly from the water being moved, but it didn't pop.

"Shit…" Naruto grumbled as he stopped, feeling exhausted. "How did it look when Pervy Sage did it… it was bumpy…"

Jiraiya watched from a distance as the eight-year-old tried again.

'He isn't getting it, but I believe he will.' Jiraiya thought as he felt a sense of pride in his godson.

Evening…

Naruto lulling to sleep as Inazuma was teaching him basic math, only to snap to attention when Inazuma's scissor hand snipped his desk in half.

Four Months Later…

Naruto and his clones ran toward the trees, chakra in their feet.

They jumped off the ground and ran up the trees.

"I… I, did it?" Naruto asked as he realized he and his clones were at the top of the trees, none of them slipping or falling off. "I DID IT!"

Naruto hollered in joy… only to slip out of the tree.

Short time later…

"Oh, this is child's play." Naruto cockily commented as he glided across the hot spring surface.

"Oh, yeah?" Inazuma asked with a serious tone.

"Yep."

Inazuma smacked Naruto's back as the child passed the edge, since Inazuma was standing at the edge, and instantly Naruto nearly buckled, sinking to his ankles.

"Enjoy the added weight I put on you." Inazuma said in a sarcastic tone as he drank his wine.

Hour Later…

Naruto and his clones swung their claws the moment the clones were summoned, the fire was diced into small pieces as the flames stuck to their claws.

"Nice, this is done." Naruto said proudly.

"Good, now use this." Jiraiya said as he tossed Naruto his bokken. "Kitsunebi-ryu is a sword style, now cut fire with that."

"Piece of…" Naruto said as he swung the bokken, only for it to not cut the fire. "Shit…"

"OWIE!" the okama screamed as his head was struck. "MY MAKE UP!"

"Oh, I'm sorry!" Naruto shouted in a panic, not wanting to have hurt his instructor, or worse, ruin their make-up.

"No, its fine," they said as they held up a mirror, inspecting their make-up. "Nothing was ruined, Naru."

Naruto let out a sigh of relief.

"Anyway, you are getting better," his instructor said proudly. "Now, switch from your right hand to your left. Iva wants me to teach you learn how to be ambidextrous."

Naruto swallowed a lump in his throat as he put his left hand as the leading hand.

He got his ass beaten, and it was probably for ruining his instructor's hair.

Lunch…

"MORE PLEASE!" Naruto shouted as he finished his twenty-second serving of food.

Heavy amounts of sweat poured from the cook's foreheads, their confidence having slowly been whittled down.

"No… NO MORE, I QUIT!"

After Lunch…

Jiraiya held Naruto's hand with a brush in his right.

"What is this for?" Naruto asked as Jiraiya drew a dot on his palm.

"You know how when you look at a piece of paper, your eye wanders?" Jiraiya asked as he held up a piece of paper.

Naruto nodded in confusion, know seeing where this was going.

Jiraiya made a dot on the paper.

"But if there is something there, your eye instantly goes for it." Jiraiya continued as he showed it to Naruto, who indeed, spotted the dot instantly.

"This will help you focus your chakra into a single point." Jiraiya said as he gave Naruto another water balloon.

Frowning, Naruto continued his attempts to pop the balloon as Jiraiya strolled to a nearby rock and sat down, pulling out a manuscript and his brush.

'…' Jiraiya thought as he began writing, ignoring the sounds Naruto made as he failed.

Two Months…

Jiraiya smiled with stars in his eyes as he sat at a table, stacks of red books with the words "Make-Out Rage" on them.

Before him was a LONG line of fans, beside him was Naruto who was irritated.

'This is bullshit.' Naruto thought as he handed another book to Jiraiya to sign. 'I could be training with my clones to pop those stupid balloons.'

"… and I swear, I was so aroused, I had to use two hands…" a male customer told Jiraiya, who was looking a little nervous at the content of the conversation, but Naruto's ears perked up.

'Two hands…' Naruto thought as he paused to look at his hands. 'Wait! That might work!'

Naruto ran off, leaving Jiraiya on his own for his book signing.

Once secluded in the bathroom, Naruto filled a water balloon and tied it off before clasping it with both hands.

Jiraiya, meanwhile, sighed with a massive smile as he sat alone in the book store, having signed/sold all the copies of Make-Out Rage.

'It is going to be a BIG payday.' Jiraiya thought happily before Naruto's face appeared above him, grinning wide enough that his head would roll off.

"Pervy-Sage~" Naruto said cheekily as he held a balloon.

Jiraiya didn't even blink as the balloon bubbled before it popped, splashing him with water.

That Evening…

Naruto winced at he ate dinner.

Jiraiya had spanked him for his antics in the bookstore, despite being so proud of him, Naruto wasn't exempt from punishment.

Next Morning…

With his training in chakra control basically over, Naruto's swordsmanship training was doubled.

Naruto held a bokken in each hand.

He was covered in large bruises and welts.

"DAMN!" He cried out as he looked at his left hand. "I hate this!"

"I know, sweetie." His instructor said in a sad tone. "But it is good to be able to use both hands ambidextrously."

"If you are going to say 'So you can use Kurama's Nitoryu' then save it." Naruto interrupted as he threw the bokken to the ground. "I already heard it! Besides, I don't even want to learn Nitoryu."

His instructor stood up straight, towering over him, their dress rippling as they reached out and grabbed his shirt, bringing him close to their scruffy face with an intense look of anger.

"THAT MAY BE TRUE, BUT WHAT IF YOUR RIGHT ARM OR HAND IS BROKEN OR CUT OFF!" they shouted, a mist of lipstick and spit spraying into Naruto's face. "YOU CAN'T USE YOUR SWORD IF THE ARM USING IT LACKS THE STRENGTH AND COURAGE OF ITS USER, YOU LITTLE SHIT!"

Dropping Naruto, who was quite shaken, they grabbed their bokken.

"Grab your swords, NOW!"

Naruto shot up in a terror, both of his own bokken in hand.

"Take your stance!"

Afternoon…

After devouring his lunch, Naruto spared with Yokozuna for a few hours but was currently listening intently to Inazuma's lessons.

Not as tired as he should be, Naruto forced himself to pay attention, not wanting to be punished.

After his formal education ended for the day, Naruto ran out of the room, grabbing a rubber ball and proceeded to practice the second stage of the Rasengan.

Evening…

Naruto hissed in pain as his hands were held by Iva.

"Hm… I think you should put a pause in your Rasengan training, Naruto." Iva said in concern as he assessed the damage. "If you continue to sustain this kind of damage, you could wear out, or worse, destroy your chakra coils."

"I know, but I want to make my dad proud." Naruto stated as Iva administered simple healing magic to speed up his healing.

"Anyway, I heard your birthday is coming up." Iva told Naruto, which the boy perked up.

"Oh shit, it is!" Naruto said as he realized it was right around the corner as he grabbed his backpack, which held his bokken and the journal that belonged to Kurama.

Iva smiled as he watched the boy smile brightly, going through a mental list of things he wanted.

"Well, if you are good," Iva continued, getting Naruto's attention. "There will be another special gift for you, one very special."

Naruto was giddy, unable to hold his excitement.

"I'LL DO MY BEST!" Naruto declared, pumping his fists into the air.

Iva giggled and patted Naruto's back.

"Now, go to sleep. All good boys get enough sleep." Iva urged with ease as Naruto ran out of the room and straight into Jiraiya.

"Hey, kid, watch it." Jiraiya said in irritation, his body bloating in said irritation.

"Whatever, Pervy-Sage." Naruto replied as he went to move past him, only for Jiraiya's tongue to grab him.

"Hold it." Jiraiya said as he placed Naruto on the ground before him.

"What?" Naruto asked before Jiraiya reached for Naruto's bag, pulling out Kurama's journal. "HEY!"

"Hold it, kid, I am going to give it back." Jiraiya said as he pulled several folded pieces of paper from his jacket and putting them in the journal. "There."

He handed it back to Naruto, much to his confusion.

"I wrote down the instructions for the Rasengan, just in case I am not around when you complete the second step you can continue to the third step." Jiraiya told Naruto.

"Okay…" Naruto replied as he put the journal back and ran down the hall to his room.

That Night…

As the men and women of Kamabakka slept, the guards watched the bridge with upmost diligence.

However, they didn't expect an enemy entering from the water.

A steel gray colored substance emerged from the water, and with swift, precise movements, sliced their throats, killing them instantly as the user exited the water.

"Perfect," they said as they pulled out a map from under their cloak. "Now, I need to get the body in the cemetery."

Morning…

"IVA!" a guard shouted as they barreled into the crowded room. "IT'S HORRIBLE, THE CEMETERY! KURAMA'S GRAVE HAD BEEN ROBBED!"

"WHAT!" Iva shouted in shock. "BUT… WHY… THAT IS PROBABLY WHO KILLED THE GUARDS!"

Acting immediately, Iva took off toward the cemetery with his men, some he ordered to get their detectives to try to figure out who did it.

Upon entering the cemetery, Iva and his group headed toward Kurama's grave.

"No… it's really gone." Iva gasped as he saw the open grave with the empty casket. "His body has been stolen!"

Taking a knee, Iva wept.

"Iva…"

"Iva!"

"Are you okay?"

"Is it your anemia?"

"SHUT UP!" Iva shouted in anger, his tears pouring from his eyes. "I'M SORRY, BUT JUST SHUT UP!"

His little candies went silent.

The empty grave was left alone as they inspected it.

Beside Kurama's grave were two more, one for Minato and one for Kushina.

They, too, were empty graves, but it was to memorialize them regardless.

"What do we tell young Naruto?" one of the okama asked in concern.

"We won't." Iva stated as he stood up, anger in his eyes. "We won't tell him anything. His birthday is soon, and we can't ruin it."

"You just don't want to cause him unnecessary worry, Iva." Inazuma replied as she approached her leader.

Iva didn't respond.

As the sun rose, a sense of dread covered the world as Kurama's grave was refilled with the casket closed.

Skip, Naruto's Ninth Birthday…

It was a festive day.

The entirety of Kamabakka was celebrating Naruto's Ninth Birthday.

It was set up like a

Naruto, who was exempt from training for the day, had a blast running around Kamabakka, playing games based on Japanese and American styles.

Naruto hadn't had this much fun in his life as he smiled brighter than the sun.

As the day came to a close, Naruto sat at the table in Iva's castle, with Jiraiya, Inazuma, and Iva at the table, and a mountain of gifts beside the table from the citizens of Kamabakka.

"Time for cake." Iva declared, snapping his fingers.

A large cake was wheeled in by several people, with nine candles lit above it.

Naruto smiled as they all sang happy birthday as it was brought before him.

"Now, blow out the candles." Iva urged as Inazuma picked Naruto up.

Taking a deep breath, Naruto blew them out, sending the candles flying from how hard he blew them out.

"Now, presents." Jiraiya said as he tossed Naruto his gift, which Naruto caught.

In his hands was a green frog wallet.

"oh… okay, thanks… I guess." Naruto said in an unimpressed tone.

"HEY, WATCH THAT TONE YOU BRAT!" Jiraiya shouted in anger, but calmed down. "Ahem, I mean, don't judge a book by its cover, kid. That wallet has been made to hold much more than it looks."

"It has the ability to hold large things." Inazuma whispered to Naruto, whose eyes widened as he opened it and put his hand in… only for it to suck up the majority of his arm.

"WOW, awesome!" Naruto shouted, no longer disappointed, which made Jiraiya shrug and shake his head.

"Ungrateful brat." Jiraiya chided.

Inazuma handed Naruto a large gift bag, which he opened, to be irritated.

"Clothes…" he mumbled as he held them up.

"Not just any clothing." Inazuma stated as he drank his wine. "I hand made these myself, and…" He grabbed one of the shirts and turned it around, showing the back that had a large red circle with a spiral on it. "I hand sewed the Uzumaki clan symbol on the back of all the shirts and the jacket."

"Oh, thank you, Inazuma." Naruto said as he hugged the okama.

"I am happy you enjoy them." Inazuma said as he smiled, patting Naruto's head.

Several hundred more gifts were opened, but the best was saved for last.

Iva placed it before Naruto on the table.

It had a single sheet covering it, and Naruto removed it to reveal a sword on a sword stand.

It was a long katana with a black handle. It had a cross-shaped guard and a black lacquered sheath. Though mostly black, the sheath and the handle both had thin yet elaborate gold designs on them.

"Wow, is that…" Jiraiya gasped as Naruto stared at it.

"Yes, it is. And it is time." Iva said as he watched Naruto pick up the sword, surprise on his face.

"So light." Naruto mumbled as he drew the sword from sheathe, revealing the blade. The blade itself was normal in appearance and its pattern was midareba (irregular) pattern.

"This, Naruto," Iva said as he looked at the painting of Naruto's family. "Is Yubashiri, the sword Kushina used before inheriting Enma and Shusui."

"Mom's sword…" Naruto said in shock as he looked at the painting and then to the blade.

"Kurama had it forged when Kushina was young." Iva continued as Naruto returned his gaze to Kushina's image on the painting, eyeing the sword on her hip. "She left it in my care after the death of her father, stating that if she had a child who walked the Path of a Swordsman, that Yubashiri be given to them."

Naruto started to tear up as he held the sword, his balance being off put, but he held it up.

"Thank you." He choked out tearfully, a blurry image of Kushina from what he could remember forming as he stared at the blade. "Thank you, Iva…"

Sheathing the sword, Naruto hugged the undine tightly.

"Oomph… a little tight there, Naruto." Iva wheezed as Naruto squeezed tighter.

After serving and eating the cake, Naruto slept peacefully.

However, upon waking up and eating breakfast…

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN WE ARE LEAVING!" Naruto shouted as he shot up from the table.

"It is what I said, Naruto." Jiraiya said calmly. "We are going to leave and travel the world."

"But… but…" Naruto tried to find words to argue, but was silenced when Iva patted his head.

"Don't worry, Naruto." Iva said with a smile. "You may leave, but you will always have a home here. Come back whenever you want."

Feeling at ease, Naruto smiled slightly.

"Okay… fine." Naruto grumbled as he sat down and continued to eat.

Two Days Later…

Once packed up, Naruto and Jiraiya stood before Iva and Inazuma at the bridge.

"You are always welcome here, never forget." Iva said as Naruto hugged him.

"I won't." Naruto said with a small amount of snot in his nose.

Inazuma hugged him with one arm.

"Be good, Naruto." Inazuma said with a confident smile.

"I will."

Naruto and Jiraiya turned and started walking down the bridge.

"DON'T TURN HIM INTO A PERVERT, JIRAIYA!" Iva shouted loudly. "I'LL KILL YOU IF YOU DO!"

Jiraiya waved off Iva's concerns.

Seven Months Later…

"HOW COULD YOU SPEND MY MONEY… ESPECIALLY ON HOOKERS!" Naruto shouted at Jiraiya as he attempted to pop the rubber ball, but it only suffered a puncture, spewing out the air.

"Hey, it was research." Jiraiya said as he was writing the manuscript for his third book, which was almost done in his mind, just needed a few more pages. "Don't get mad over dumb things."

Naruto growled as he slumped over, glaring at Jiraiya.

"You'd get pissed if I stole your money." He stated very bluntly.

Yubashiri was at his side and with his anger spiking, Naruto felt the urge to use it.

Jiraiya rolled his eyes as he continued to right.

"Don't worry about it, kid. It went to a good cau…" Jiraiya started only for Naruto to punch Jiraiya in the spine.

"FUCK OFF, PERVY-SAGE!" Naruto shouted before he was backhanded by Jiraiya, summoning a clone to continue his manuscript.

"You want to spar," Jiraiya asked as he cracked his knuckles. "Then all you had to DO WAS ASK!"

Naruto braced himself, but his defense was broken with ease due to Jiraiya using his haki.

Days Later…

After turning in his manuscript for Make-Out Tactics, Jiraiya decided to take a break from writing…

And take a cruise.

Naruto groaned as he was slumped over the railing, nauseated as he emptied his stomach into the water.

"Oh, it's not that bad, Naruto." Jiraiya said as he sat nearby sun bathing with a pair of sunglasses, which allowed him to observe the women at the cruise pool without being seen.

Naruto weakly flipped Jiraiya off before heaving once again, a strong burning sensation in his throat with a gross taste on his tongue making him whimper.

'Another three days of this shit…' Naruto thought as he slumped down and leaned against the railing, a distant stare toward the sky as he did his best to not get sick.

He hadn't been doing any training, and all of their belongings had been sealed within a scroll (His sword, journal, everything) that Jiraiya had sealed on his person.

"Hey, you doing alright kid?"

Naruto barely registered the person as they knelt down next to him and touched his forehead.

"Oh… hey, old man." They called out toward Jiraiya. "Your kid is sea sick, mind if I help him?"

"Go ahead."

The person picked Naruto up with ease and put him in a chair.

"Here," they said as they handed Naruto some crackers, a small ginger ale, and a pair of headphones. "Snack on these and listen to something. As you do, focus on the horizon. These will help your sea sickness."

Naruto barely nodded, feeling as if he was dying as he struggled to put the headphones on.

Once on, the person started playing soft music as Naruto sipped the ginger ale and nibbled the crackers slowly, his arms feeling tired as he moved them.

For a short while, the music hurt his head, causing it to pulsate violently.

But, slowly but surely, Naruto started to feel better, no longer focusing on his sea sickness, but rather the horizon and the music.

"Feeling better?"

"Yeah," Naruto said as he looked at the man. "I am, thank you… uh…"

"Sabo," the man introduced as he held out a hand. "Sabo Phenex."

He had soft blonde hair, a top hat with goggles on them, round eyes with his left eye having a distinct scar on it. A black over coat on top of a blue long sleeve with a vest, a frilled cravat at his neck, gray pants and black boots. Beside him was a large duffle bag and a lead pipe.

Jiraiya got up.

"Phenex, huh?" He said as he took off his glasses and stepped between Naruto and Sabo.

Sabo blinked in honest surprise.

He focused a bit, and then let of a kind laugh with a wide smile.

"I see, you guys aren't human either." He said as he stood up. "Don't worry, I am all alone, and I am just here relaxing on orders of my masters."

Jiraiya could not feel any lies from Sabo with Observation.

"Fine, but do keep a distance." Jiraiya warned.

"Hey, he helped me, so we can cut him some slack." Naruto said as he stood up, wobbly in the knees a bit. "I mean, he might be a stranger, but we can…"

"He is a devil, Naruto." Jiraiya stated as he glared at Sabo's back, since the young man had walked to the edge and was just taking in the air.

Naruto went silent as he too stared at Sabo.

'A devil… I have never seen one before. He looks like a human.' Naruto thought as a thick fog started to roll in.

The fog encroached the shit, caressing it to the point no one could see past their arm length.

Jiraiya was on edge.

'This fog… it feels like…' Jiraiya thought before his eyes snapped open.

Grabbing Naruto's arm, Jiraiya used Observation Haki.

'Over two hundred humans on the boat, plus the devil, myself and Naruto.' Jiraiya thought as the world became black with white and gray outlines of people and sea life around the boat. 'But this fog feels alive, like it is filled with…'

"GYAAAAAAAAH!"

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAKGAARORYUAA!"

Jiraiya felt two lives get snuffed out, their corpses hitting the ground lifeless.

"Some one is here!" Jiraiya stated as he opened his eyes, alerting Naruto and Sabo.

"What?" Sabo asked as he had also heard the people scream.

None of them could see, but they heard more people scream before being killed.

"IS THIS YOUR DOING!" Jiraiya demanded angrily as he grabbed Sabo.

Sabo didn't make any unnecessary movements.

"It is not." He stated calmly with his hands raised. "I am right here, you can tell, right?"

Jiraiya growled as he put the devil down.

"We need to leave…" Jiraiya stated, not liking this fog as he prepared to jump off the boat with Naruto and swim to shore.

"Sorry," A gravely, yet happy tone said as a large shadowy figure appeared behind Naruto. "But I can't let you escape."

"MOVE!" Sabo shouted, starting to lunge forward as he grabbed his pipe.

The figure swung something down upon Naruto as the kitsune turned, eyes wide, ears drooped on his head as his tail shivered between his legs.

Naruto landed near the railing, causing Sabo to stop as he caught the boy.

"No…" Sabo whispered in shock as his clothes soaked up Naruto's blood.

His back had been shredded open, bones splintered and broken, his organs scrapped and bleeding.

"P-pp-p-p-ervy-sa-ge…" Naruto shuddered as his tan skin rapidly became pale as he violently shook in Sabo's arms.

"NARUTO!" Jiraiya shouted as he saw his godson's condition. 'There is only one thing… person who can to that!'

Jiraiya entered his hybrid form, gaining more toad like traits as his body swelled as he dodged a second stroke from the enemy's weapon.

"My, you sure are fast…" The person chuckled as the fog lightened a bit, revealing the attacker.

"Kisame Hoshigaki." Jiraiya growled as his hair was filled with chakra.

Kisame chuckled, bearing his shark-like teeth.

"And if it isn't the Toad Sage, Jiraiya the Gallant." Kisame pontificated as he chuckled, Samehada gargling as it was partially unwrapped from cutting into Naruto, the bandages coated in his blood.

Jiraiya seemingly vanished, reappearing above Kisame, his hair turning black.

'Sage Art: Hair Needle Senbon!' Jiraiya thought in a rage.

In rapid fire succession, Jiraiya's Haki infused hair came down upon Kisame, who turned and looked up as he coated Samehada in Haki, taking a stance as he gripped his great sword with both hands.

Effortlessly, he swung Samehada, deflecting the hair Senbon.

Only for Jiraiya to appear under him as the one above popped, revealing itself to be a shadow clone.

"RASENGAN!" Jiraiya shouted as said jutsu spun to life in his hand.

"POINTLESS!" Kisame shouted as he brought Samehada down.

"NO!" Sabo shouted as he put Naruto down, unable to watch anymore.

Jiraiya, under Samehada, couldn't move as his chakra was syphoned.

The fin like protrusions that made Samehada's blade dug into his flesh, gauging his bones as his arm was taken, blood painting the sentient sword in his crimson ichor.

'Naruto…' Jiraiya thought as he saw his godson several feet away, still as stone with wide eyes and a scared expression.

Jiraiya grunted in pain as Kisame removed Samehada.

"Don't worry, you'll see the boy soon," Kisame chuckled as Sabo pulled back his fist. "In hell."

"FIRE FIST!"

Sabo punched the air, sending a blast of fire that took the form of a fist.

'SHIT, FIRE!' Kisame thought as he swung Samehada, cutting the fire and absorbing the chakra, much to Samehada's discomfort.

Closing the distance, Sabo swung his pipe, colliding with Samehada.

"YOU BASTARD!" Sabo shouted as he took one hand off of his weapon, moving his fingers in a way that resembled a dragon claw. "HOW COULD YOU KILL THEM!"

Kisame chuckled as he got a flood of magic from Sabo.

"Quite easily, brat!" Kisame chuckled in slight discomfort.

Angered, Sabo broke away, Sabo puts his clenched fists into the ground while imbuing them with fire magic.

"DRAGON BREATH!" He shouted as he pushed them into the floor of the deck, creating an immense impact and centered all-directional fissure, cracking/destroying the deck of the boat.

Kisame felt the boat begin to shake, Sabo's last attack having damaged the boat enough to cause it to sink.

Blinking, Kisame went to attack, but Sabo vanished in a torrent of flames with Jiraiya and Naruto.

"Damn…" Kisame grunted in anger as he jumped off of the boat into the freezing water. "Next time, Toad Sage. I'll kill you."

Underworld…

Sabo landed on his back, which broke from the sounds of the crunch he heard.

"FUCK!" He screamed before laughing the pain away in a delusional stated of insanity to make the pain vanish. "Are… are you guys… where…"

He looked around and didn't see Jiraiya or Naruto.

"Oh… shit…" Sabo grunted as his spine healed itself, feeling stupid. "Shit, shit, shit… They must have been separated during the jump because they aren't my peerage members… fuck, I hope they are safe."

?

Jiraiya carried Naruto in his arm, gasping for air as he trudged through the forest that they had landed it.

"Come on, kid." Jiraiya panted as he felt life nearby with his haki. "Don't die on me… please, Naruto. Stay alive… Don't… Don't… die on me… I can't... face your parents… knowing I let…"

Jiraiya felt woozy from blood loss, nearly falling.

"I can't die knowing I failed your parents…" Jiraiya declared as he forced himself to move.

Breaking through the forest's edge, Jiraiya collapsed as he saw a gazebo. He was in a garden connected to a mansion, two devils in the garden shot up from the sudden arrival of Jiraiya.

"PLEASE," Jiraiya shouted in desperation. "SAVE NARUTO!"
