A/N: So. Prologue is done and now we can get into the beginning of something interesting. But before that, I wanted to explain some things with specifically Kana.

Kana, compared to her canonical self in fire emblem fates, was not sent into a deeprealm to be raised but was raised in the castle by Corrin and his various retainers, so her Autophobia isn't really in this scenario thanks to that. Another thing to point out thanks to her upbringing, she learned at least the basics to swordsmanship by her father as well as how to control her draconic form with help from a dragonstone, despite her young age.

With that out of the way, here's the beginning of Part 1

Part 1:
An inevitable disaster approaches, but suddenly...
Chapter 1:
New world, new enemies, and new problems.

Kana's POV:
The White Orphanage

The light around her disappearing, Kana took a look at her surroundings, but suddenly, she realizes she is alone. "Lilith? Where are you Lilith?" Kana called out, receiving no response from anyone, but is instead met with the sound of a monster's roar in another room. "We must've been sent to different places. I'll have to look for Lilith later, for now I should stop whatever is making that noise." she reassures herself, running to where she heard the monster, nervous, but prepared to fight.

The roaring became louder and louder as Kana came closer and closer to where the monster was located, but as she was about to enter the final hallway and meet her enemy, suddenly, she heard someone singing.

"Gatrandis babel ziggurat edenal"

Hearing this, Kana stopped, confused as to why she heard someone singing, let alone in a place like this.

"Emustolronzen Finé el balal zizzl"

"Is there someone in that room with the monster?!" Kana finally realized, quickly running down the hall to the door right outside the room with the person singing and the monster rampaging inside it, "I need to get in there and help them befo-" suddenly, a light began to come through the door before suddenly it and some of the nearby wall exploded without warning, catching Kana by surprise.

(Apple begins to play)

As soon as the nearby dust clears, Kana quickly rushes to where the door once was, what she saw horrified her. The room was on fire, debris was spread all across the room, and standing in the middle of the room was a girl with brown hair in a red and white dress holding a mysterious-looking object while blood runs down her face from her eyes and mouth, but she just stood there, staring at someone that was out of Kana's line of sight.

Kana was brought back to her senses when she started to hear the sound of more debris falling from the ceiling, and sprinted towards the girl in an attempt to push her out of the way of the falling debris. "Look out!" Kana shouted, getting the girl's attention. Kana tackled the girl out of the path of some falling debris, knocking the object in her hand and making another object fly off her neck. As more debris started to fall around them, Kana put herself above the girl, as to take any debris head on to protect her. Suddenly, a light blue light engulf the two of them, "What is going on?!" Kana said out of shock and confusion, but before she could question it any further, she made sure to grab the girl before they both vanished as the light dissipated and debris covered where they once were.

Lilith's POV:
A town in Japan

"Lady Kana? Lady Kana!" Lilith shouted, searching for the young princess, "Where could she have ended up, hopefully she was sent to where that Serena person was that Enki mentioned." she said with a sigh. Moments later, after no results from searching all over town, "She doesn't seem to be here... Maybe she's in another town?" The maid thought aloud, but before she went to leave for the next town, she saw a flash of light appear from a nearby alleyway, "What was that random light just now?" Lilith questioned, picking up her pace to investigate the area, when she reached the alleyway, she was ecstatic, "Lady Kana! Thank the gods you're alright. I was starting to worry that we were sent to different worlds for a mome- By the gods!" Lilith's enthusiasm to seeing her young mistress in good health was quickly replaced with shock as she saw the girl unconscious and bleeding profusely beneath her.

"Lilith? Thank the gods you're okay!" Kana said with a sigh of relief, "Quick! Get us to the Astral plane, she needs medical help immediately!" Lilith snapped out of her shock and nodded, teleporting herself, Kana, and the unconscious girl into the Astral plane.

Kana's POV:
Astral Plane

Rushing from the entrance to a nearby bed, Kana quickly but gently placed the girl down upon it. "Gods... what do we do, Lilith?!" Kana said, panic in her voice.

"In her current state, I don't think it's the best idea to give her a vulnerary, we'll have to use healing magic." Lilith said, trying her best to keep calm.

"But I haven't had that much experience with that kind of magic yet, even with all the help Aunt Elise and Aunt Sakura have given me, can't you heal her?" Kana asked the Astral Dragon.

"I'm afraid that's something I too have little experience in," Lilith said dejectedly, but then she gets an idea, "Maybe when Enki gave us some of his power, it enhanced our magic capabilities." Kana gave her a look of curiosity and slight confusion. "It's worth a shot, if all else fails, we can try and look for another solution. For now, we don't have much of a choice but to try."

Kana took a deep breath, "Okay, here goes!" the dragon princess closed her eyes and focused all of her energy to try healing the girl. A magic healing circle appeared around her hands, followed by a bright light that engulfed the room. when the light dissipated, the blood stopped flowing from the girl's face and her injuries were gone. Kana fell to her knees, completely out of breath. "Did...Did it...work?" She asked, reaching a hand out to Lilith for assistance standing back up.

"It seems so Milady." Lilith said, "The bleeding seems to have stopped and her bruises and other various injuries seem to have vanished. That was incredible Lady Kana!" she remarked, amazed by Kana's success. Kana giggled at Lilith's praise.

"No need to praise me for that, Lilith. If anything, I owe it to Mr. Enki that I even managed to heal her." Kana turned to the girl, who started to breathe normally in her sleep, "Hopefully she wakes up soon, there are some things I need to ask her from that place she and I were in." Kana said, "Although, it might be best to let her rest for now."

Lilith nodded in agreement, "That sounds like a good idea. In the meantime, we should look around town for any useful info, not to mention it may be best if we try to blend in." she stated, "The less attention we attract to ourselves, the better. Which means it'd be best if we don't mention anything about Valla or anything else of our homeland. It may also be in our best interest to enroll you at a nearby school so people don't get suspicious of a young girl roaming about town all the time."

Kana nodded in agreement to Lilith's plan, "Yes, Ma'am!" she said enthusiastically, "It'll be nice to make new friends in this world too. I can't wait!"

Lilith chucked seeing Kana excited, "I'm glad to see you in good spirits about this. Just make sure to do well in school Milady." She stated, "Lastly, it may be best if we let people believe I'm your legal guardian and not just a maid. With that out of the way, we should go look for somewhere to enroll." Reverting to their normal forms, they both went through a portal back to where they were moments prior.

Town in Japan

Exiting the portal, Kana and Lilith went about their plan to blend in, enrolling Kana into the nearby school, shopping for clothes and other various devices that could benefit them, returning to the astral plane to check up on the unconscious girl when they dropped off their supplies, as well as looking into places to consider as a homebase for the time being so their trips to the astral plane were less likely to be spotted by passersby. Everything was going according to plan, then, after one of their returns to the astral plane, they were greeted to the sound of sirens and screams, some of which were quickly silenced. "What is happening?!" Kana asked aloud.

"I have no idea." Lilith responded, unsure herself as to what could've caused this, "But we should probably investigate." They ran out from the alleyway to see what was happening and the sight before them was horrifying. Mysterious creatures were attacking people and turning them into nothing but piles of dust. "Are those the Noise that Enki mentioned before?" Lilith pondered aloud, "I know he said they were creatures that killed people by disintegrating them, but I could never have imagined it'd be like this."

Kana was angered by these creatures and their senseless destruction, ready to transform and fight, but her attention is immediately drawn to a strange flying machine that didn't exist in their realm. Moments later, she noticed two figures jumping from the strange machine. "What are those?" Kana said, curious as to what the two falling figures were. Before she could look further into it, she could hear a voice in the direction of the figures.

"Croitzal ronzell Gungnir zizzl"

(Kimi to Iu Oto Kanade Tsukiru Made begins to play)

The figures were engulfed in orange and blue lights. Once the light disappeared, the figures were replaced by two girls in armor similar to Kana's Yato transformation. The girls immediately went to destroying all the noise that were in their line of sight. "Tsubasa! You take care of the ones on the right!" the girl with red hair said, bringing forth a spear, prepared to fight the noise, "Leave the left side to me!" The girl with blue hair and a sword, who seemed to be Tsubasa, nodded to the other girl, "Understood Kanade!" She replied, taking no time to head straight into the crowd of noise and make quick work of as many as she could, the red haired girl following suit with her own barrage on the noise.

Kana readied her hand upon her Yato relic, but was stopped by Lilith, "We shouldn't attract any attention right now." she whispered, as to not make themselves known, "Let's leave it to these two for the moment, if our help is needed, then we'll join in." Kana let go of her relic and hid it back under her scarf, watching the duo hack and slash through the hoard before them. The two were in awe of the amount of power on display by this mysterious duo, Kana especially realizing Lilith was right for them to stay out of it, fearing they'd only become a distraction. In what felt like seconds, the entire wave of noise that overran the town was nothing more than those they preyed upon, dust in the wind.

Sticking to the alleyways, Kana and Lilith tried to get closer to the warriors who took care of the noise, trying to see if they could learn anything more about them. "Phew... that takes care of them." the red-haired spearmaiden said, slightly exhausted from the fight, "We should check around for survivors." The swordswoman nodded and they went in separate directions to find survivors, the spearmaiden heading straight in their direction. "Huh? Is anyone in that alleyway?" she thought aloud. Kana and Lilith started to scurry back into the alleyway, "There's no need to worry!" The spearmaiden shouted, trying to reassure them that she isn't there to harm them, "My partner and I took care of the noise! It's safe to come out now!"

Hesitantly, the two came out from the alleyway, as to answer the girl's pleas. "Apologies." Lilith said to the spearmaiden, bowing respectfully, "We saw the two of you appear from the sky and couldn't help but follow from the safety of the shadows."

The spearmaiden gave a slight chuckle with a smile, "Intrigued by our fight with the noise, were you? Well, I hope you enjoyed our performance," She jokingly replied, "but in the future, I'd suggest to not get too close. I'm sure you both are already well aware, but these things are very dangerous. It's not safe for anyone who can't properly fight them to confront." She turned to Kana, patting her on the head, "Especially your kid here," she said, earning a pouty "I'm not a kid" face from Kana, "it's better for those who can't fight to help others get away from the battle."

Lilith gave a nervous chuckle, "Sure thing, ma'am. I'll be sure to be more careful in the future." She bowed before the spearmaiden once more, before taking hold of Kana's hand, "Come along, Kana, we should be getting home now. Be sure to thank the nice lady here for keeping us safe." Kana knew what Lilith was trying to do, so she played along and thanked the girl before they both left the area.

After walking down the street for a few blocks, Lilith looked around to check if the coast was clear, before signaling to Kana to quickly make a run for the nearby alley. "This place should hopefully work as a place to go to and from the astral plane for now," she said, catching her breath and opening a portal, "We can find a better place to consider as a more frequent point to enter the astral plane later. For now, we should hurry in, on the off chance they're following us." Kana nodded, quickly entering the portal after Lilith.

Serena's POV:
Astral Plane

The girl groaned, opening her eyes after sleeping for hours on end, "Where...am I?" she said aloud to herself, as she looked at her unfamiliar surroundings.

Faintly she heard two voices slowly grow louder as they came closer to her room. Moments later, the door opened, revealing a child in grey and black clothing with silver hair and a woman in a blue and white dress with blue and red hair. "Serena! Thank the gods you're okay!" the girl excitedly shouted, running at her to give her a hug. "I was so worried I failed to save you."

This caused the girl to become confused. "Save me? Was I in trouble?" she asked the silver-haired girl, "Also how do you know my name? Have we met before?"

The Girl's eyes widened, realizing Serena wouldn't know her at all and sheepishly giggles, "I-I overheard someone say it before I found you," she says, nervously scratching the back of her head. She then jumps in shock as she realizes what Serena asked before, "What do you mean?" the girl asked, "When I saw you, you were surrounded by fire, the building we were in was falling apart, and you were bleeding a lot."

Serena thought to herself, before shrugging at the girl's story, "I don't remember anything like that. By the way, who are you two?" she asked.

The lady behind the child spoke up, "My apologies, it slipped my mind we have yet to properly introduce ourselves." She then curtsies, "My name is Lilith Kamui, and the young girl before you is named Kana Kamui."

Serena curtsies back, as to show respect to Lilith and Kana, "Pleased to meet you. I guess my name is Serena." She notices the confusion upon the others' faces, "I'm sorry, did I say something wrong? I'm deeply sorry." She says, respectfully bowing.

"Serena? Do you remember anything before waking up here?" Lilith asks, Kana gaining a shocked expression coming to the same realization that Lilith has.

Serena frowns, "I'm sorry, but I can't remember anything about today, or any major parts of my past I'm afraid." This causes Lilith's confused expression to turn into one of shock.

"Amnesia." She whispers to herself. "Just like when Lord Corrin was younger." The two younger girls look at Lilith, confused as to what she's going on about to herself. "Oh! M-My apologies, just lost in thought is all." She tried to make them less worried, but she couldn't tell herself to lie to them. "I'm afraid you may be suffering from amnesia, Serena." She stated, "My guess is either your injuries from before Kana found you might've caused it...or...there's a chance that when Kana healed you, the healing magic went out of her control, having an unseen side effect mentally."

Kana gasps, fearing that Lilith may be right about this, "Gods...I gave you amnesia when I healed you..." she said aloud, before tearing up, "Serena, I'm so very sorry! I just wanted to save you! Please forgive me!"

Serena put her hand on Kana's head, trying to calm her down, "It's okay Kana," she reassured the child, "It isn't your fault. There is no need to feel sad for doing something to save someone else." Kana tried to compose herself, "B-B-But I..." she was quickly cut off by Serena hugging her, "While I may not know much about healing magic, or much else at the moment, I do know this: your intention was to save my life. " Serena wiped the tears from Kana's eyes, "Just because my memories are gone now, it doesn't mean they won't come back in the future. For now, I can make new ones with you and Lilith."

Kana recomposed herself, thanking Serena for her forgiveness, Serena giving her a warm smile in return. "With that out of the way, it may be best if we fill you in on what we do know, as to not leave you out of the loop." Lilith states, telling Serena everything they know about their situation, where Kana found her, the noise, where they are, as well as their plan to not draw unnecessary attention to themselves. "Unfortunately, Kana and myself don't have much info as to what your past could've been like, aside from your name." she informs Serena, "However, it may be better if you hide your true identity, on the off chance there's someone out there who could wish to harm you."

Serena nods, understanding Lilith's concern for her life, "In that case, I should use your surname instead of mine, in case there is someone looking for a 'Serena Cadenzavna Eve' out there."

This idea interests Kana and Lilith, "Then from here on out, everyone will know you as 'Serena Kamui' instead!" Kana proudly announces, earning laughter from Serena and Lilith for her enthusiasm. "Oh! Before I forget," Kana says, remembering something important. She hands Serena a red crystal on a necklace, "You're gonna need this in order to fight the noise. I believe Mr. Enki called it a 'Symphogear' relic." Serena looked at Kana with a confused expression. "Who is this 'Mr. Enki' you're talking about?" Kana jumps at bit, "O-Oh, well Enki was some guy who just asked us to save you for some reason. it's really complicated." She explains, scratching the back of her head sheepishly.

Serena shrugs, "Okay. So... how do I use this to fight the noise?" Kana shrugs in return, "He didn't really say." she responded, "all he told us is, 'She'll know what to do when the time is right.' Other than that, we really don't know." Serena looks at the crystal again, before putting it on around her neck. "Well, if he says I'll know, then I'll just have to trust him." She looks up to Lilith and Kana, "Alright! I shall do what I can to help. I, Serena Kamui, give you my word."

With Serena willing to do what she can to help Kana and Lilith, their plan to blend in with society commenced. Kana and Serena went to school, entering classes of their respective ages. Lilith, while Kana and Serena were in school, would spend her time dealing with chores around the astral plane or working odd jobs for people in the city. In the time after classes, they would either train in the astral plane, relax, or protecting people from the noise when they appeared. Everything seemed perfect, however, their good deeds didn't go undetected...

Genjuro's POV:
Sector Two

4 years later

"Is everything alright, boss?" The red-haired girl asked the burly man, who seemed a bit uneasy, "You've been pretty quiet as of late, it's very unlike you."

"She's right Genjuro-san." The brown-haired scientist teased, "Could these random sightings of noise that disappear as soon as they appear be on your mind?"

Genjuro nods, giving a weak grin, "Apologies for my silence. To answer your question Ryuko-san: while it has been a major concern to me, I'm more curious about the mysterious aufwachen waveforms that are detected among the noise."

Flashback:
4 years earlier

"Noise have been spotted in a nearby town!" Sakuya reports to Genjuro. "We're on it, boss!" Kanade responds, herself and Tsubasa exiting the room to deal with the threat. "Noise have all been destroyed!" Aoi reports, shocking everyone in the room. "Wow. That was quick. Good work you two." Genjuro says, amazed by their efficiency. "Umm, Boss, that wasn't our doing." Kanade says, entering the room after hearing the second report. Before Genjuro could question them, Sakuya speaks up again, "She's right sir. We've detected 3 other signals around where the noise once were," he reports. "One of them seems to be an aufwachen waveform, but the other two, they seem slightly different."

"Try to identify the waveforms if you can." Genjuro requests. The screen in front of them flashes pink, soon after the text "Unknown" appears. "Unknown? How is that possible?" Genjuro ponders aloud, "Keep a tab on these waveforms for future reference," he asks Sakuya and Aoi, "I have a feeling this won't be the last time we hear about them."

"Regardless, those mysterious wielders clearly have their own mission." Genjuro says, "We should be focusing on our own for now: awakening the Nehushtan armor." He points to a monitor where the relic is displayed.

"I'm sure you two are excited to perform," The scientist says to the duo, "if I recall correctly, you've personally invited some friends to come to your performance."

Kanade nods, "She said she and her younger sister were big fans of the Zwei Wings, not to mention she did help us out in classes, so I guess you could consider it us returning the favor." she said. "You mean she helped *you* out in classes," Tsubasa said, lecturing her friend, "don't try to rope me into your academic troubles." Kanade nervously chuckled in response. "A-Anyway," she said, trying to change the subject, "I think you'd like her, Sakura-san."

The scientist gives Kanade a warm smile, "Well if she's as great as you make her out to be, I'm sure it'd be a delight to meet her. Unfortunately, I'll be too busy keeping an eye on the relic to ensure everything goes as planned." She playfully boops Kanade, "But I'm sure it'll be nice to meet her someday."

"For now, you two should just focus on getting some rest," Genjuro requests, "we've all got a big day ahead of us tomorrow, not just for the Zwei Wings, but for the people of Sector two as well." the girls nod, "Roger that, boss." Kanade says. "Understood commander." Tsubasa adds.

The duo leave the return to their room to prepare for tomorrow's performance. "We can continue our search for those mysterious fighters after tomorrow's performance is over," Dr. Sakura tells Genjuro, "you should follow your own advice as rest up for tomorrow" she teases. "You're right, Ryuko-san," Genjuro replies, "I just wish we could find them sooner than later. The more wielders we can bring together, the easier it would be to stop the threat of the noise."

"I shall see you tomorrow, Genjuro-san." Ryuko says, leaving the room to head home for the night. "See you tomorrow, Ryuko-san." he responded, heading for his own home.

A/N: One chapter down, an unknown but quite large amount left to go!

One thing I knew while I was first thinking about this fanfic was what I wanted to change about the characters that weren't in the canon story. As you can see, my idea for Serena was giving her a minor case of amnesia (this will have a bigger role to play in G, for obvious reasons, but still) as for my plans for Kanade... I won't spoil it, but rest assured, I'm not about to give two major characters amnesia *Looks at Robin AND Morgan from FE: Awakening*

Now to address the surname: 1. No it's not their canon surname, considering FE: Three Houses was the first Fire Emblem to use full names. 2. The intent was for it to be a reference to Corrin's japanese name (which accidentally lead to another reference to another well-known anime).

Regardless, thanks for reading and I'll see you in the next chapter!
