A/N: Before this chapter starts, I just wanted to reiterate on my notes from last chapter. While the general timeline will be the same with altered events, I still plan to have the events be focused more on Kana, Kanade, Lilith, and Serena's perspectives when possible.

I just felt like the way I phrased it was wrong, and if it didn't and I'm just paranoid, then ignore my rambling.

With that off my chest, enjoy!

Part 1:
An inevitable disaster approaches, but suddenly...
Chapter 4:
A new enemy

Kana's POV:
Section Two HQ

"Gotta say Kana-chan, your power has been quite intriguing to study," Ryoko remarks, "Over the past month, you've managed to manifest that power a lot more efficiently than before. Not to mention the fact that you also seem to have managed this transformation with Serena-chan as well."

Flashback:
Two weeks ago

Due to Tsubasa stubbornly wishing to see Hibiki prove to her why she should be allowed to wield Gungnir, The wielders decided to let them join up while Kanade and Serena alternated working with Lilith and Kana. While things went smoothly with the other four, Tsubasa and Hibiki were not as successful. Tsubasa always went off on her own to fight while Hibiki did what she could just to survive. "Good grief..." Genjuro said, "Even after a couple weeks, Tsubasa is still being stubborn with Hibiki." sighing, he turns to Aoi and Sakuya, "What's the status on Kana and Serena?"

"Everything's going smooth as usual." Aoi replies, "Although, Kana's signal is acting in a similar fashion to when she merges with Kanade's Gungnir."

On the screen, Kana is shown fighting Noise alongside her older sister, her hair and armor color matching Serena's brown hair and silver and light yellow armor.

This surprises Genjuro, but Ryoko is less surprised, "Just as I hypothesized. It seems Kana's Yato isn't limited to just Gungnir augmentation." She states, earning a smirk from Genjuro.

Kana chuckles, "To be honest, Ryoko-san, I feel like I've still only scratched the surface of what Yato is capable of, even with this 'Augmentation' power, as you call it."

"Thanks to the multiple medical checks on your augmented forms , I have made some interesting discoveries." Ryoko adds, piquing Kana's interest. Seeing her interest, Ryoko pulls up her analysis on the monitor, "When you transform with your augments, it seems that you aren't just affected physically, but mentally as well. From what I've gathered, while you copy the weapon of the other user, as well as their hair, eye, and armor color, it seems you also copy the other person's combat style and personality." Hearing this, Kana becomes slightly concerned. "No need to worry though. This mental change only seems to last while you're transformed, not to mention that regardless of the other person you augment off of, your personality is still the dominant personality throughout the duration of the augmentation."

Kana stayed quiet, still slightly concerned about her power.

"If it helps put you at ease," Ryoko adds, "The mental effects of the transformation do not linger after you revert back. We know this thanks to also doing checks on your normal transformation after the form reverts back."

"Well that's a relief. Thanks Ryoko-san!" Kana says, bowing out of gratitude.

"Though, while you're still here, I have some more questions about your gear I'd like to ask. That is, if you're okay with that." Ryoko says, changing the topic.

"Sure thing." Kana says, "What is it you'd like to ask? I'll see what I can do."

"It's regarding your augmentations, specifically the one with that of Serena's Airgetlám." Ryoko states, "It makes sense that you only recently accessed that power with Kanade's Gungnir, seeing that you only fought alongside her once when it happened. But you fought alongside Serena-chan for many years before the concert incident. Why is it that you only now accessed your augment with her?" Kana was about to answer, but suddenly, the Noise alarms go off, making the doctor sigh, "Well, I guess that'll have to wait for another time I suppose. Go on, we can talk about your gear later."

"Right. Sorry Ryoko-san." Kana replies, rushing out of the room to go meet up with Genjuro in the command center. "I'm here, Genjuro-san!" She says entering the room, "What's the situation?"

"Kana-kun, we've located a huge amount of Noise coming from a nearby subway station, we need you and Hibiki to go there ASAP." Genjuro says, "Kanade and Tsubasa will join you two as soon as they can, for now, I need you and her to head over there and do what you can."

"Roger that, Genjuro-san!" Kana replies, rushing out the door to head over to that location.

Hibiki and Miku's POV:
Lydian

A moment before the Noise sighting

Hibiki walked out from her classroom, "Well?"Miku asked, waiting outside the room for her friend, "What did the teacher say?"

"That my handwriting is horrible." Hibiki replied, "Like hiero-something or other."

"That isn't what I meant." Miku retorted, "You were past the deadline. Did they take your report?"

Turning around suddenly, Hibiki's sad expression was quickly switched out with one of excitement. "They said they'd take it, just this once!" she shouted, "We did it Miku!" They were about to celebrate, but were quickly silenced by the teacher scolding Hibiki about yelling in the halls. "Now that we're done, we can go see the shooting stars."

Miku smiled, happy that things were working out for them to see the shooting stars, "You wait here then, Hibiki." she said, running down the hallway. Hibiki tried to stop her, but she stopped herself at the corner long enough to reply to her friend, "This is a reward for working as hard as you did."

She decided not to argue it further, considering her friend's past record with the track team. Things seemed to be going as planned for the two to go see the stars, but that hope would soon be crushed as a woman suddenly appeared behind Hibiki. "Sorry to come in unexpectedly, Hibiki-chan." Said a voice which startled Hibiki, leading to another scolding from the teacher in the classroom. Hibiki finally turned around to see who scared her, it was Lilith. "We need you for another mission."

This caused Hibiki's happy expression to instantly change to one of disappointment, "Now? Why can't any of the other wielders take care of it?" She asked, "I promised my friend I would go see the shooting stars with her tonight."

Lilith looks to Hibiki, sighing sorrowfully when giving her response "I'm sorry Hibiki," she says, "the Noise this time around are spread rather far apart and as much as we'd like to send only one person each to take care of the packs, some of them seem to have energy signals that are too great to risk sending one person each. Kana is already heading towards one of the locations, but you need to help her out. Kanade and Tsubasa are busy with one of them and Serena and Myself will be taking care of the other."

Hibiki thinks about this. She wants to see the shooting stars with Miku, but if Kana died due to being overwhelmed by Noise and she could've saved her, she would never forgive herself. "Alright..." Hibiki hesitantly responds, "I'll go help Kana-chan." With that said, Lilith takes Hibiki's hand and they vanish from sight.

Moments later, Miku returns to where Hibiki was supposed to be waiting. "Alright Hibiki, let's get going before it gets too much la-" she stops herself noticing Hibiki wasn't where Miku expected her to be, "Hibiki?" Miku thinks to herself, before coming up with an idea. "Maybe she went back to the dorm?" With that in mind, she goes back to their dorm, only to be met by the same thing as the hallway before, no one in sight. Suddenly she gets a call on her phone, it was Hibiki.

Kana and Hibiki's POV:
Subway Station

"I'm sorry Miku." Hibiki said over the phone to her friend, "Something came up and I may not be able to see the shooting stars with you tonight."

Miku sighs, disappointed by Hibiki's news, "Another important thing?" Hibiki confirms her question. "Alright, it's fine then. I'll just leave the door unlocked, just please don't be out too late."

"Thanks, Miku. I'm very sorry." Hibiki says, hanging up the phone soon afterwards.

Suddenly a hand is placed on her shoulder, "I'm sorry that this interrupted your plans with Miku, Hibiki." Kana says, consoling Hibiki.

"There's no need to apologize, Kana-chan." Hibiki replies, "It's not your fault that this happened. It's theirs" She turns to face the Noise with an angered expression on her face, "Let's take care of them together." Kana nods in agreement, both of them transforming into their respective gears.

"Balwisyall nescell Gungnir tron"

(Gekisō Gungnir begins to play)

The duo rush down the stairs and start to punch and slash through the Noise as fast as they can. "Remember girls, some of the signals are bigger than the rest." Genjuro says over their comms, "Tsubasa and Kanade are wrapping things up on their end, so they should rendezvous with you two soon. Hold out for as long as you can before they reach you. Lastly, please don't do anything reckless."

"Understood Commander!" Kana replies.

"We'll do what we can for now!" Hibiki adds.

Saying this, they reached the lower levels of the subway station and are met by a swarm of Noise, among them are two purple Noise with strange pink growths on their head and back. Readying themselves, the lunge at the nearest Noise, sending them into nearby pillars and slicing them in half. Soon after, the purple Noise release some of their pink growths which explode upon contact with the ground. "Watch out! they're bringing down the ceiling on us!" Kana shouts, dodging out of the way of the falling debris. Hibiki was not as fortunate and gets covered by the debris, "Hibiki!" Kana shouts, hoping her friend is still alive.

"I wanted to see them..." Hibiki says, muffled slightly by the debris. Suddenly the debris explodes and Hibiki rushes out from it, seeking a Noise to target. "I wanted to see the shooting stars!" she shouts, landing a punch that pierces straight through a nearby Noise. "I wanted... to see the shooting stars with Miku!" she shouts again, killing Noise left and right out of anger.

Hibiki rushes down the stairs after the purple Noise. "Hibiki! Wait!" Kana calls out, trying to calm her friend down to no avail.

Hibiki ignored her friend's plea, determined to destroy the purple Noise as they retreated "And you..." she continued, punching a nearby wall, leaving a decently sized crater, "You ruined my promise!" Suddenly, she became engulfed in a black aura, her eyes turning bright red, "You made me lie... you took away my peaceful world. My calm, everyday life." She rushes towards the new swarm of Noise produced by the retreating purple Noise. "You took it all away!"

Hibiki's was taken over by a primal rage as she savagely tore through the Noise. The rage subsided after blocking several explosives from the Noise, but she still pursued them as they blasted a hole in the ceiling and fled for the surface. "Hibiki! Stop!" Kana said, grabbing her by the arm as to halt her pursuit, "I know you're upset about the Noise interfering with yours and Miku's plans, but at least try not to get yourself killed so recklessly."

"Sorry, Kana-chan." Hibiki replies. Suddenly two beams of light shoot across the sky, catching both of their attention, "Shooting stars?"

"I think that's Kanade and Tsubasa. Quickly, let's get up there and meet up with them!" Kana says, jumping through the opening with Hibiki following behind her.

(Zettō Ame no Habakiri starts to play)

Suddenly the two beams of light shine and let out a red and blue flash of light that eviscerates the two retreating Noise. When the explosion from the beams fade, Hibiki and Kana see Tsubasa and Kanade descend from the sky. Once they land, Kanade smiles and waves to the two while Tsubasa remains silent. Hibiki steps closer to Tsubasa. "I have something I wish to protect, too!" Tsubasa remains silent. "So..."

Tsubasa raises her sword, earning a disapproving look from Kanade and Kana while Hibiki shares Tsubasa's silent but serious look. "So what? What are you gonna do?" A voice suddenly asks from behind Kanade and Tsubasa, getting a reaction from Tsubasa as everyone turns to face this mysterious figure.

When the figure approaches, the clouds move to reveal her, shocking the members of Zwei Wing. "Is that what I think it is Tsubasa?!" Kanade asks aloud.

"The armor of Nehushtan..." Tsubasa replies fretfully.

"So you do know about this armor then?" The stranger says, mocking the duo.

"Because of my failure to fight off the Noise two years ago, it was stolen. I'll never forget how weak and useless I was back then!" Tsubasa replies, recalling the day she was nearly overwhelmed by the Noise but was saved by Serena and her family.

"Listen up, all of you!" Genjuro said over their comms, "Your new mission is to retrieve that armor, no matter what. Do I make myself clear?"

"Crystal." Tsubasa says, readying her blade to attack the girl in the Nehushtan armor. The girl smirks, pulling out a staff and preparing to fight as well. "The weak and useless Tsubasa Kazanari from two years ago no longer exists." Tsubasa thought to herself.

"Don't do it, Tsubasa-san!" Hibiki pleas, grabbing onto Tsubasa in an attempt to stop her, "That's another person! A human being!"

"This is a battlefield! What the hell is wrong with you?" Both Tsubasa and the strange woman retort, surprised they shared the same thought. "I think we're going to get along just fine." Tsubasa says, happy to meet someone who shares her way of thinking.

"Then how about we have some fun?" The stranger replies, lashing the spiked ropes of the Nehushtan armor at Tsubasa and Hibiki. Tsubasa throws Hibiki to the side and jumps into the air to dodge, preparing to strike with an Azure flash, which is deflected with ease by the stranger. This shocks Tsubasa, causing her to go straight to the girl and attack directly with the sword, this is however met with her attacks being blocked with the same amount of ease, the girl then kicks Tsubasa away.

"A completed relic is capable of this much?" Tsubasa thinks to herself.

"Don't assume this is all the Nehushtan armor is capable of." The girl boasts, "This isn't even a fraction of what this baby can do." Suddenly a spear flies right at her along with a few spheres of energy, this does nothing as she dodges and reflects the incoming attacks back at the group, disarming Kana and Kanade. Knocking Tsubasa back again, she grabs her staff and says, "Don't think I've forgotten about you three. Here, have fun with these while I play with your friend." She shoots out multiple beams nearby Kanade, Kana, and Hibiki. From the beams emerge several tall Noise.

"No way..." Hibiki says, "She can control Noise?" While they tried to go after their weapons, the Noise spewed out a strange webbing that ensnared the group.

"D-Dammit!" Kanade shouts, "I can't reach my gear like this."

"You forgot about me when dealing with them, didn't you?" Tsubasa asked, nearly striking the stranger.

When she gets control of the situation again, the stranger grabs Tsubasa by the leg she just blocked, "Don't get ahead of yourself!" She said, throwing Tsubasa towards the group and stepping on her head, "I don't give a damn about your popularity. Not everyone is gonna want to play with you!" Tsubasa looks up to the stranger with anger in her eyes. "But since you feel like the center of attention, I'll let you in on something. My whole reason for being here, was to capture them." She points to Hibiki and Kana, who both look at her with shock. "Your armor and your friends, all of which are too good for you."

"I'm not about to stand idly by and let you get away with that!" Tsubasa retorts, pointing her sword skyward, and calling down one thousand falling tears. This causes the stranger to dodge, allowing Tsubasa to stand up and start fighting again.

The two traded blows throughout the entire forest. "That's it!" Kana realized, looking at Hibiki, "Hibiki, Kanade and I may not be able to access our armed gears right now, but you still can."

"That's right!" Kanade adds, "If your Gungnir and mine are the same, then you should be able to summon your spear and set all of us free."

"I'll try and do what I can." Hibiki replies to their request shaking her fists to try and summon her armed gear, but to no avail, "Why isn't this working? What am I doing wrong?"

Hibiki kept trying to summon her armed gear, but the group's focus instantly turned to Tsubasa's fight when a bright flash of light was seen in the air. The stranger had manifested a black ball of energy and threw it at Tsubasa, sending her flying back towards the group. "What a failure." The stranger said.

"You're right... I am a failure." Tsubasa replied, causing everyone else there to be confused. "I've trained my whole life to be a sword. And that day, I had to rely on others to survive. I have shamed myself as a failed sword." She stabs her sword into the ground in order to prop herself up onto her feet. "That shame ends today. If I manage to take back that armor, I can restore my honor."

"Yeah? Well I'd like to see you try and ta-" The stranger stops, noticing how she is unable to move. She turns around and notices one of the small daggers from earlier within her shadow. "She managed to paralyze me?" She says, but then she realizes what Tsubasa is planning to do and becomes worried. "You Lunatic. You're planning to do that?"

"I'll end this while the moon is out." Tsubasa says, still looking up at the sky, smiling.

"You're actually going to sing your Superb Song?" The stranger asks nervously.

"Tsubasa-san!" Hibiki shouts, worried about what Tsubasa is planning to do.

"Remember this moment, Tachibana!" Tsubasa says to Hibiki, raising her sword, "This is how a true wielder lives!"

"Lilith! Serena! Get to Tsubasa's location ASAP!" Genjuro shouts through the two wielder's comms, "She's going to sing her Superb Song!"

"Understood!" Lilith responds.

"Heading there, immediately!" Serena adds.

"Like hell am I going to let you do that!" The stranger shouts in anger, struggling to free herself of Tsubasa's shadow weave. Suddenly, Tsubasa raises her sword up and starts to sing.

"Gatrandis babel ziggurat edenal"

"Tsubasa! Stop it!" Kanade shouts, begging Tsubasa not to use her Superb Song. Tsubasa ignored her friend's plea and started to walk towards the girl in the Nehushtan armor.

"Emustolronzen Finé el balal zizzl"

Kana listened to the song, knowing she heard it somewhere before. In that moment, she recalled when she met Serena six years ago, singing that same exact song. She remembered how Serena looked after singing that song and began to struggle violently to free herself. At the same time, water started to materialize around her and started swirling around her. "Kana-chan? What's happening to you?" Hibiki asks seeing her friend struggle while she is encased in a ball of water.

"Gatrandis babel ziggurat edenal"

The girl manages to free her arm from Tsubasa's shadow weave long enough to grab her staff and summon more Noise behind Tsubasa, but by the time she managed to shoot out some Noise, Tsubasa was right in front of her. Tsubasa put her arms around the girl and smiled.

"Emustolronzen Finé el zizzl"

The water around Kana explodes, freeing herself, Kanade, and Hibiki from their strange binding. Right after the explosion, Kana dashes straight for Tsubasa in hopes of stopping her song, but she was too late. When she was inches away from stopping her, Tsubasa's song finished and she let out a giant burst of energy, knocking back Kana, Hibiki, and Kanade, while it started to destroy the stranger's armor. The stranger was sent flying back towards the nearby lake, leaving her greatly injured and bruised. Suddenly, her armor starts to regenerate, causing the girl to scream out in pain from the sting of it. When she regenerated enough to stand, she retreated from the battlefield.

Soon after that exchange, Serena and Lilith arrive at the scene. They are met to the sight of Tsubasa standing in the center of a crater while Kanade stands in shock, Hibiki on the ground, and Kana, injured from being near ground zero of the explosion, but still running to Tsubasa. "Tsubasa! Are you okay?" Serena asks, approaching her friend.

"I am a wielder that protects humanity." Tsubasa says, turning to face Serena and Lilith, "I will not die here." Serena is horrified by the sight of her friend, who is standing up straight while bleeding from her mouth and eyes with a smile on her face. Briefly, Serena sees herself from six years ago in the place of Tsubasa before reality returns to her. This causes Serena to grow pale with fear, making her drop to her knees, feeling ill.

Soon after, Tsubasa collapses on the ground, "Tsubasa!/ Tsubasa-san!" Kanade and Hibiki scream out, afraid that their friend was going to die.

Suddenly, Kana sprints towards Tsubasa and collapses next to her. She props herself up and brings forth a bright light and aims it at Tsubasa, "I won't let you die, Tsubasa-san! Not here, especially not now!" she shouts, causing the light to become brighter before instantly disappearing, revealing an unconscious Tsubasa, who was no longer bleeding. Kana on the other hand was standing straight up, her armor shined with a blue hue that was also present in her hair and eyes,

Lilith and Kanade rushed over to pick up the girls to bring them back to section 2. Serena, still pale from the sight of Tsubasa, let out a sigh of relief that Kana was able to save Tsubasa and she once did her. Hibiki however, who was still new to Kana's powers, screamed in fear for her friends lives.

Hibiki's POV:
Hospital

The doctor left the room they had Tsubasa in, going to tell Genjuro and his men the state of her health. "She will live. However, it seems the injuries she did suffer have put her into a small coma. When she wakes up, which we believe could be in a couple days, she will need to avoid overworking herself for a few days.

Genjuro and the other agents bow, "Thank you." He says to the doctor, before turning to the agents, "Find out what you can on the armor's location. Don't miss any clues!" when the orders are given, they leave the hospital.

Hibiki sat down in a nearby waiting room, guilty for what happened to Kana and Tsubasa, "There's no need for you to feel bad, Hibiki-chan." A female voice said, getting Hibiki's attention, "What Tsubasa and my sister did, they did of her own free will." When she looked up, she saw a woman with brown hair in a suit, it was Kana's older sister, Serena Kamui.

When she went over to sit down with Hibiki, she handed her a drink from the machine in the waiting room. "Thank you, Serena-san. By the way, how is Kana-chan?" she asked, immediately being answered by another woman entering the room, Kanade.

"From what we've been told by Lilith, Kana will be fine." She replied, "Her injuries weren't as severe as Tsubasa's, so all she needs is some shut eye and she's should be fine." She sat down next to the two, before turning to Serena, "Though to be honest, I'm curious to if you're okay or not, Serena." She said, much to Serena's confusion. "When Tsubasa had used her Superb Song, you looked like you had seen a ghost or something. What was that all about?" She asked.

Clearing her throat, she answers Kanade's question, "Well, you remember how I told you about my amnesia before meeting Kana and Lilith, right Kanade?" She asks, receiving a nod from Kanade but a confused look from Hibiki, "Oh right, I forgot I had yet to tell you about that, Hibiki-chan."

"Not even Kana-chan said anything about that." Hibiki said, still shocked to only now hear about this.

"I figured she wouldn't say anything about it." Serena replied, thankful that Kana hadn't said anything, "The thing is, when I first met Kana, it was after, as she had told me, I used my Superb Song to fight some sort of rampaging beast. She was unable to see what it was as I had sang my song before she could reach me to see it herself."

"So when you saw Tsubasa, it caused some memories to return?" Kanade asked.

"Well... Yes and no. Yes, I could vividly remember my younger self bleeding profusely, but it wasn't anything I hadn't already known." Serena responds. "But from what she told me, after finding me in a room that was falling apart due to the shockwave of the song, she tackled me as to get me out of the way of some falling debris, but suddenly we teleported to where Lilith was. From there, they took me inside their house, that is to say, the special portal that we have located inside Section 2, and from there, Kana healed me the same way she did Tsubasa."

"Wow!" Hibiki said, in awe of what her friend accomplished, "So Kana used that healing ability to save you?"

Serena nods, before looking down with a serious expression, "Unfortunately, that day when she used it, it was her first time using the ability, so she accidentally caused me to have this amnesia. Other than anything I learned after meeting them, any memories from before the moment I used my Superb Song are gone."

"Serena..." Kanade said, feeling sorry about her friend's tragic past.

"I've come to terms with that fact for quite some time now." Serena stated, "Whether or not my memories come back, I'm perfectly content with who I am today." Serena stood up and walked towards the exit of the waiting room, "Well, I should probably head back to base, it's getting rather late. Care if I take you two back to your dorms?"

The girls nodded, leaving the hospital with Serena and returning to Lydian.

Lydian

Before departing to their rooms, Kanade talked with Hibiki, "Hibiki, I just wanted to apologize on Tsubasa's behalf." She said, "Ever since that day when I saved you at the concert, she's been pushing herself to be as strong as she can be. This however, caused her to be kinda distant with almost anyone she would meet." She chuckles, "It's ironic, considering when we first met, all I could think about was destroying the Noise with every fiber of my being. But ever since forming Zwei Wing with her, that rage that consumed me has subsided somewhat."

"There's no need to apologize, Kanade-san." Hibiki says, reassuring Kanade, "I understand how she feels, especially with how useless I ended up being in the fight with that mysterious girl."

With this in mind, Kanade gets an idea, "Say, what if you had Boss teach you how to fight?" She says, shocking Hibiki, "I mean, you saw how strong he was when he stopped Tsubasa one month ago from killing you. I'm sure if you could convince him to train you, he'd be more than happy to." Before leaving, Kanade placed her hand on Hibiki's shoulder, "I'll let you sleep on that idea. If you're interested, just come find me after class and I'll take you to him."

With this in mind, Hibiki nods, "I will, Kanade-san! Goodnight!" she says, heading straight for her dorm.

Hibiki and Kana's POV:
Genjuro's residence

A knocking was heard at Genjuro's door, when he went to answer, he was met by three people: Kana, Hibiki, and Kanade. "Heya, Boss!" Kanade says, casually greeting Genjuro.

"Kanade-kun? What are you three doing here?" He asked, confused at their sudden arrival.

"Please teach me, Genjuro-san!" Hibiki asked, bowing in the process, "I figured you could teach me some amazing martial arts skills so that I could help everyone else on the battlefield."

"I see..." He replied, turning to Kana, "Is that why you're also here, Kana-kun?"

"Kinda." She answered, "Ever since that fight with the girl in the armor, I realized that I'm useless in a fight without a weapon, so I wanted to train under you in order to be able to defend myself if I ever lose my weapon again."

Hearing this, Genjuro looked at the two with a serious expression, "I'm warning you now, I'm a strict teacher."

"Understood!" Kana and Hibiki reply.

"Well then, if everything is settled here, I'm gonna go train at HQ with Serena. See you later!" Kanade said, leaving Genjuro's residence.

They all waved goodbye as she disappeared around the corner. "By the way, have you two ever watched action movies?" Genjur asked, confusing the girls. Genjuro however just shrugged it off, "Regardless, we shall start your training immediately."

Over the next few days, Kana and Hibiki would train under Genjuro. Together, they watched many action movies, ran several miles, and did many extreme exercises, all while taking the time to hang out with their friends and keep up with their schoolwork, that is to say Kana kept up with her schoolwork while Hibiki trained as much as she could.

Hibiki and Miku's POV:
Lydian

"Hey, Miku! Could you show me that video of the shooting stars again?" Hibiki asked her friend.

"Even though there's nothing on it?" Miku asked in return. "You're weird, Hibiki."

"Well, then that just makes you weird for hanging out with me." Hibiki retorted, giggling.

In that moment, Miku stopped walking, "H-hey, Hibiki..." She said, piquing her friend's interest, "It kind of hurt, not telling you I had recorded that video of the shooting stars. I don't want to hide anything from you again." She looked up to her friend and smiled.

"S-same here, Miku!" Hibiki replied, smiling nervously, feeling guilty that she has to lie to her friend, "I won't hide anything from you."

The next morning

When Miku woke up from the bed she and Hibiki slept on, she was surprised to see that Hibiki was nowhere in sight. "Hibiki?" She asked, hoping for a response from Hibiki somewhere in their dorm. She then noticed a note at the head of their bed, "What's this?" The note read "I'm skipping class today to train. I'm very sorry. -Hibiki" which confused Miku, "What does she mean by training?"

A/N: 3 chapters done in one month, didn't expect to do that.

To be honest, I just wanted to write this chapter as soon as I could because it was one of the few for season one that I actually knew what I wanted to do for Kana and the others.

That's all I really wanted to say. See ya in the next chapter!
