Neb: I do not own Beyblade, Beyblade Burst, or any other titles of Beyblade. This is a story about my OC Sin Venger. In previous chapters we have explored Sin and Domori's rivalry with each other and to see what was the cause of their animosity. They've learned that Sin and Domori hadn't had the most inclusive past when it comes to socializing with others, and that's definitely a big factor in it, but we have to remember. Sin within this story didn't only develop an attitude against her brother, as she was constantly called a Beythief and was told she was unworthy of Spriggan. Of course she was going to respond negatively. However, now that Shu Kurenai had told her that he accepts her as the inheritor of Legend Spriggan, the darkness within her is beginning to fade. Now let's see the new Sin and hopefully she can work on her short temper.

Sin was in her room scrolling though her computer looking over all her different opponent's beyblade stats. She could form a gimmick on Spriggan to counter each and every one of them, but at the end of the day that wasn't going to win her the tournament. She needed Spriggan to become it's greatest form, and to do that she needed to start from scratch. Sin sighed as she took out the hidden blade and removed the rotation ring from Spriggan. Arrow Stag and Quality Drake had become an excellent shield and sword from Halberd Spriggan and had won her many battle against some of the greatest bladers. But now she needed to focus on taking down the legends.

"Spriggan," Sin spoke up. "You still won't talk to me after my loss. I'm sorry I let things get this far." She felt saddened that Halberd Spriggan needed to evolve, she had just gotten use to it, but it didn't change that Turbo Spriggan was able to shut it down at every turn. "Shu's a genius, he knows how to build a balanced blade that can counter any foe. But I need to do this my way." She thought long and hard and considered each of the opponents she had faced so far. "Zac's ability to shift his blade's weight with marbles was cool, but I don't think it will work with Spriggan. Orochi's beat down strategy was cool also, but it didn't have enough power. Then there's Quon, the hidden fangs of his snake really took me by surprise. Sin's eyes widened when she realized that was it. She didn't need a hidden dagger to be so literal. Adding a spike within the axe of Legend Spriggan might be enough. "But it isn't." She looked over the blueprints that Shu left her. Turbo Spriggan had it's wings that came with a burst prevention system and Spriggan Requiem was diverse in it's stats. You could make it spin right or left, have it focus on spin stealing or delivering strong blows. Not to mention you could launch it left handed or right handed. "It's too late in the game to learn to shoot with my left hand, I'll have to consider that for the next generation. For now I'll focus on the way it spins.

She begun clicking away at her computer again as she drew up a new blueprint. The new Spriggan will have a left spin mode and a right spin mode just like Spriggan Requiem. That was one of Shu's best features. Spriggan will also have hidden fangs beneath the axe just like Quintet Quetzalcoatl. It will be similar to Halberd Spriggan as the spike she placed to represent the fangs of Spriggan will be on top of the axe, yet the spike is small enough it won't throw Spriggan of balance. A true hidden dagger.

"I don't know if I should do spin stealing Spriggan," Sin shook her head. "It's a cool feature and it will keep me in the game longer against those burst prevention systems. What do you think?" She got no answer and sighed. "I could really use your advice." Adding rubber to the axe will weaken it's attack ability and it will make it closer to a stamina beyblade. Spriggan was supposed to be one of balance. Sin's eyes widened as she realized something that might work. "I couldn't fit a burst prevention system and spin stealing separately, but what about together?" Turbo Spriggan's wings were something else, hard to compete with, but what if they were rubber? What if the burst prevention system was the spin stealing power itself. "I would have to launch hard every time in order to get the wings out," She realized. "But it is doable." She decided there were four points for the soft rubber wings, two beneath the axe and two above the axe and fitting it in while keeping the blade balanced was tough. She managed to do it, they were small and lightweight wings, but they'll do their job. "I guess this works," she smiled. "It's like a bigger version of Spriggan Requiem, but it doesn't lost the axe feature of Legend Spriggan. All pieces are in place and their won't be a shift in the weight sending it off balance. I should apologize to Orochi, that's what he was trying to tell me from the start." Sin sighed before getting to work. She all these different pieces and parts she had gotten from Shu and from her brother's room, and she begun putting it all together just like the blueprints on her computer. Before she knew it, Halberd Spriggan was no more and now she had evolved it into a new beyblade. "Harmonic Spriggan," Sin grinned. "A testament to Shu's Requiem and Orochi's advice. "If I ever evolve you again, I might play around and try out the rotation feature again, but I think spin stealing is a better gimmick to have." When she painted the blade she decided to reverse the colors of Shu's Turbo Spriggan having the gold color on the outer edges of the blade and the red color towards the center of the energy layer. She then grabbed her forge disk and driver that Crystal and Komoto got her and hooked them on. "I won't need the rubber on the forge disk anymore now that the energy layer itself does spin stealing."

"Talking to yourself sis," Domori spoke up at her door.

The two of them glared at each other for a moment as the tension rose.

"Domori," Sin spoke up. "You're back."

"How could I resist?", Domori responded. "Your challenge that is." He turned around and then smirked. "Though Shu told me to stay away from you for now, so I'll just beat you in the upcoming tournament. We both qualify for entry by the way."

"Tournament?", Sin responded. "Nobody told me about that!"

"Guess you hadn't got your invite yet," Domori shrugged. "But I was told you would be there. You will be there won't you?"

Sin glared daggers at him and then nodded. "Spriggan and I will destroy you, and anyone else who gets in our way."

"Good," Domori smiled. "Get stronger sister, and break your limits." A darkness washed over both of them as they continued to glare at each other and then Domori headed away.

Sin grunted to herself. Domori knew the weaknesses of Arrow Stag and Quality Drake, it was good she changed out those parts. She was really in over her head when she thought she could win with Halberd Spriggan, but now. Confidence and pride was filling her as she stared at Harmonic Spriggan. "I won't lose."

"We won't lose Sin," her blade responded as it radiated a red color within her hands.

Sin almost teared up as she heard Spriggan speak to her. She thought her blade would never speak to her again after her loss against Quon. Sin got out of her room and headed out the door.

Sin spent the entire afternoon battling against Komoto and Crystal. Neither of them had qualified for the tournament, but they seemed surprisingly chill about that.

"Your new blade is amazing Sin," Crystal gawked as she watched her Icestorm Chrysalis fly out of the ring. The hidden fangs of Spriggan packed a punch that she didn't see coming.

Komoto's Karma was even having trouble keeping up with Sin's new beyblade. His special skill was to knock the fight out of his opponent's blades by being heavier, but Sin's rubber turbo wings were making Spriggan hard to burst and was stealing spin from Ironbound Karma.

"You finally got a well balanced blade Sin," Komoto admitted. "You've outdone yourself."

"Instead of rejecting the idea of Halberd Spriggan like your opponents had been encouraging you to do, you've improved upon it," Crystal agreed.

"Sounds like you'll put up a fight this time," a familiar voice spoke up.

The group turned around to see Norman Tarver approaching them.

"Couldn't wait for the tornament Tarver?", Sin smirked as she showed off her new blade.

"I did promise to face you again," Norman spat. "Fighting in a tournament doesn't insure that I get to keep that promise. I'll finish you off here, and if we happen to face you again in the tournament, I'll do so then as well."

"Don't get too confident," Komoto grinned. "Your facing a true inheritor of Spriggan."

"I'm facing a girl who couldn't enjoy the game with a bey of her own," Norman laughed. He readied Dopple Nemesis for the launch. "I refuse to lose to a mere imitation of Red Eye."

"And I refuse to lose to you again," Sin nodded as she readied Harmonic Spriggan.

"Let it rip," they both yelled.

Sin launched with her signature jump kick putting enough power in the launch to release the turbo wings of Spriggan.

Dopple Nemesis moved in quick to strike against Spriggan. Just like last time sparks were flying everywhere as the two blades collided metal to metal. Though something was different.

"Left spin?", Norman responded.

Sin grinned as she felt her resonance flare up. "Fangs of the Demon!"

Dopple Nemesis was sent flying when it connected with the hidden spike.

"Just another gimmick," Norman waved it away. "Colossus Hammer!"

Dopple Nemesis moved in for another attack, but was countered with ease by Harmonic Spriggan. Spriggan being left spinning this time completely changed the flow of the battle compared to when they last faced off. Not to mention Sin's blade was absorbing power from Dopple Nemesis with each hit.

"This isn't right," Norman yelled. "Upper Crash!"

"Harmonic Counter," Sin roared as her red aura flared around her.

"Let's do this Sin," Spriggan called out.

Both blades collided once again, but this time it was Norman who's blade burst.

He stared down in shock at how easily he was beaten this time. She was not the same blader he had seen at the Beyblaster's hide out or when they had faced each other last time. "I... I can't believe it."

Sin panted as she wiped sweat from her forehead. "I did it," Sin grinned. "I actually did it!"

"Great job Sin," Crystal called out as she cheered on the sidelines.

"With a burst finish Sin is the winner," Komoto called out.

Norman picked up Dopple Nemesis and then sighed. "Just wait tell the tournament then. I will defeat you before you even get a chance to face off against your brother. I won't fall for the same trick twice."

"Right back at you Norman," Sin smirked confidently.

Norman grunted before turning around and heading off.

"I got to settle things with Quon before this tournament," Sin decided. "Then Hyde and Domori, I'm coming for the two of you!"
