A/N: With Part 1 all done and squared away, It's time for the moment you (And by you, I mostly mean me) have been waiting for!

As previously stated, the events of this fanfiction tie directly to the events of the original Symphogear series with several changes due to this story's characters. As such, I highly recommend you have watched Through the first two seasons of Symphogear before reading, alongside having a basic understanding of the events of Fire Emblem Fates: Revelation.

Without further ado, I continue this story with Part 2. Enjoy!

Serena's POV:
Serena's room

(Apple begins to play)

Over the past few months, Serena has had the same dream: The Astral Plane was on fire and debris was falling everywhere. In the middle of it all, a young girl wearing clothes similar to what Serena wore the day Kana saved her, singing the same song. Tonight, however, it was a different dream. This time, when she heard the song, everything was normal. As for the girl, she was just standing in the middle of her room, singing that same tune. "It's you again." Serena says, "The Astral Plane isn't on fire this time... Just who are you?"

"You still don't know?" The girl asks, turning to face Serena. "I would've thought it was obvious, Serena Kamui."

Serena was expecting to see the bloody face of the younger girl, but the thing that shocked her the most this time, was how similar it looked to her own. "Are you... Me?" She asks.

"Yes and no." The girl answers, "I am you, but I am you from before you were Serena Kamui."

"This doesn't make any sense." Serena says, "How can there be two of me?"

"Because there isn't two of you... I'm just the you that was forgotten." The other Serena answers, "And it's time you finally search for that truth. I trust that you'll know where to look, you are me after all." The other Serena chuckles to herself as Serena's vision starts to blur as she falls back to sleep.

"Wait!" Serena shouts, surprising Kana.

"Is everything okay, Serena?" Kana asked, "It wasn't that same nightmare again, was it?"

Serena smiles at her younger sister for caring so much about her, "Not this time. But there's no need to worry about me. I mean, I am your big sister after all. I should be protecting you." The girls chuckle to one another. "By the way, what were you doing in my room at this hour?"

"Oh right!" Kana said, remembering why she was there. "I wanted to wake you up so you could get ready for the collaboration that Zwei Wing is doing with that idol from the US tonight. What was her name again? Maria... Something."

"Maria Cadenzavna Eve, right?" Serena asked.

"That's the one!" Kana answers. "Well, I'll let you get ready in peace now."

"I'll be out in a bit!" Serena replies, watching Kana leave the room before thinking about what happened in her dream. "Maria Cadenzavna Eve... I know I've heard that name somewhere before, but where?" Serena casts the thoughts aside for now, today wasn't focused around her after all. Today, she needed to be there for her friends.

Part 2:
From a broken past, a brighter future will emerge.
Chapter 1:
A new threat bearing an old name.

Kana's POV:
Lydian

Later that day, Kana and Chris meet up with Hibiki and their friend group. "Hey girls! Thanks for coming to meet me on such short notice." Kana says.

"Anytime Mui." Kuriyo replied. "What's the special occasion you wanted to tell us about?"

"Well, you know that concert happening tonight that Zwei Wing's a part of?" Kana asks.

"You mean Queens of Music?" Miku asked. "Isn't that a collaboration between them and that one popular idol from the US?"

"You mean Maria Cadenzavna Eve?!" Yumi blurted out in excitement.

"That's the one!" Kana answers, "Anyway, I talked with my sister, and she managed to give me some extra tickets to the show." she shows the tickets to the group and everyone gets excited.

"Kana, your sister really is amazing." Shiori said, "We all need to thank her when we see her again." The friends nod in agreement.

"Girls, tonight is going to be one of the best nights of our lives." Hibiki chimed in, "Nothing is going to get in the way of us having fun at that concert!" Everyone cheered in agreement, Chris on the other hand just scoffed at their overexcitement.

"We'll meet up to go to the concert here in a few hours." Kana says, "See you all then!" With that, the girls all went back to their places of residence to prepare for the Queens of Music concert.

Chris' Apartment

"What do you mean you might not make it?!" Kana asks in shock.

"Relax, Kana." Chris replied, "The old man just needs me and that idiot to help some scientist escort Solomon's Cane to another facility."

"If that's the case, why didn't he contact me about it?" Kana asks.

"He probably thinks that just the two of us can handle it." Chris answered, "And if that's the case, then I should be back before anyone even notices me or her are gone."

Kana wanted to protest once more, but Chris was right. If Genjuro didn't need her assistance with the mission, then surely it's nothing they can't handle. "Just don't be too reckless out there, kay?" Kana pleads, "I know that's something I should be saying to Hibiki, but you can be a rather loose cannon out in battle too."

"Same goes for you too!" Chris retorted. "And don't do anything stupid while I'm away! Trust me, I will find out, and I will hurt you."

"N-No worries." Kana says nervously, "If there's anything scarier than the Noise, it's pissing you off."

"Damn right it is!" Chris proudly agreed. "I'll see you at that concert."

"See you there!" Kana replies, seeing Chris off before finishing up preparing for the concert.

Lydian

As promised, the friends all meet up after a few hours, ready to head to the concert hall. "Where's Chris and Hibiki?" Yumi asked.

"They had something come up." Miku answered.

"Although," Kana interjects, "Chris did tell me over text that they were almost finished with their mission. Hopefully we'll see them there."

"Leave it to Bikki to always arrive at the last possible moment." Kuriyo chuckled.

"Old habits die hard I guess." Shiori added.

"I guess so." Miku agreed. "Well, let's get going." With that, the group heads off to the Concert.

Chris' POV:
U.S. Embassy

Chris and Hibiki were finishing up their part in escorting the Solomon's Cane to the U.S. Embassy in Japan. Thanks to some quick thinking from Hibiki, they were able to eliminate the Noise that were pursuing them and reached their destination with the Cane unharmed.

"This concludes your transport mission. Good work." The General said, shaking Aoi's hand.

"Having seen it personally, I understand why you're called 'The Heroes of the Lunar Attack.'" The Scientist Dr. John Wayne Vercingetorix (aka Dr. Ver) complimented.

Hibiki is taken aback by the compliment. "People hardly give me compliments. It feels so good. Please, give me some more pra-" Chris snaps her out of it with a chop to the head.

"This is exactly why you don't receive any praise, you idiot." Chris lectures.

"You didn't need to hit me that hard Chris-chan..." Hibiki retorted.

"We have a desperate need for heroes such as yourselves because of the state our world is in." Dr. Ver continued. "Especially a hero that is so great that even the gods praise them!"

"Aww, you're making me blush." Hibiki replied.

"What a weirdo..." Chris mutters under her breath.

"I'll be sure to put that of which you fought so hard to protect to good use. It's the least I can do." Dr. Ver promised.

"From what we've seen, Solomon's Cane can be quite a handful." Hibiki said, "So please be careful with it!"

"Seriously, that staff is no mere plaything." Chris adds, "We're counting on you." With that, the wielders and Aoi take their leave. "Now that we're done here, it's time to head back."

"Yep!" Hibiki replies in agreement, "If we hurry, we should make it to Tsubasa-san and Kanade-san's concert in no time!"

"You two did great today, so the commander says he'll be sending a helicopter to take you straight to Tokyo." Aoi added.

Hibiki was excited to hear this, until suddenly, Noise start to appear in the embassy. "You've got to be kidding me!" Chris shouts in frustration, "Let's get this over with!" Hibiki sighed at the sudden attack, but had no choice but to follow after Chris and take care of the Noise quickly.

Serena's POV:
Queens of Music Concert: Backstage

(Serena hums Dark Oblivion)

Helping out with the preparation of the Queens of Music concert, Serena was walking around backstage, making sure everything was going along smoothly. "Seems everything is going perfectly for tonight's performance." Ogawa said, "Wouldn't you agree, Serena-san?"

"Hmm?" Serena snaps out of her train of thought. "Yes, I agree." Serena answers.

"Something on your mind?" Ogawa asked.

"Not really." Serena answers, but Ogawa doesn't buy it. "It's just, for some reason, I feel like I've met Maria-san before somewhere, but I just can't place a finger on where."

Ogawa chuckled at Serena's curiosity. "Maybe it's just a feeling you get from seeing her? I've heard some people can give off a feeling of someone you know, even if you've never personally met them." Serena goes back into her train of thought, getting brought out of it when Ogawa puts a hand on her shoulder. "I need to check in on Tsubasa-san and Kanade-san. I'll leave you to your own devices, but be sure to meet up with me before the show starts later."

"Sure thing." Serena replies, "See you in a bit, Ogawa-senpai!" Going off to the stands of the stage to think for a bit, Serena watches as the stage hands prepare the stage. "Maybe Ogawa-senpai's right... I might be imagining things about Maria-san."

"What kind of 'things' could that be?" A voice asked from behind Serena, surprising her greatly.

"Oh! Apologies, Maria-san. I didn't know anyone else was out in the stands." Serena says.

"No need for apologies." Maria replied, "And you are...?"

"Serena Kamui." Serena introduces herself. "But you can just call me Serena."

"Very well. It's a pleasure to meet you, Serena-san." Maria continued. "I'm looking forward to working with you and the idols of Zwei Wing. You are their manager, yes?"

"Me? No. That'd be Ogawa-san." Serena answers. "I'm just the assistant manager. Though, while you're here, I just wanted to-"

Suddenly, Maria's phone starts to ring. "Hello?" Maria answered. "I'll call you back." Maria hangs up the phone. "I do apologize about that. However, I do need to call them back sooner than later. What was it you were going to say?"

Serena's original courage to ask about her past goes away as she quickly makes up an excuse to not take up anymore of the idol's time. "I... I wanted to say that I think you're doing an amazing job as an idol. I hope to continue to listen to your music in the future." She says, "If you need to take that call, I'll let you get back to it."

"Thank you, Serena-san." Maria said, waving as she leaves for her personal chambers.

Maria's POV:
Queens of Music Concert: Maria's Chambers

Seeing the coast was clear, Maria calls back the person she was going to talk to when Serena was talking with her. "Sorry about that, Mom." She says, "I didn't want the enemy to hear any of our conversation so I had to cut comms before our plan could leak."

"Understandable." The woman replied, "As I said, we're ready over here. Once Sarcist S arrives, you should be clear to begin."

"Then we have no time to waste, huh?" Maria replies, "Okay, Mom. It's time for the curtain of the last concert on Earth to rise."

The woman noticed that Maria's tone seemed off, having a slight idea as to why, "You're still thinking about that Serena Kamui woman, aren't you?" Maria was hesitant to reply, but remained honest to her mother, "I told you to focus on the mission at hand."

"I know, Mom." Maria replies, "It's just... I'm certain that it's her..."

"Regardless, your focus is on tonight's mission. We can worry about her later. Do I make myself clear?" The woman restated.

"Yes, Mom." Maria answers.

Kana's POV:
Queens of Music Concert: Venue

Having arrived at the concert, the group enters the venue and looks around in amazement at what they see. However, what catches Kana's eye first, is her older sister. "Serena!"

"Hello girls!" Serena said, greeting the group. "I see Kana was able to give you your tickets without any issue."

"She did." Shiori answered, "Thank you again for this."

"Please, it was the least I could do." Serena said, "Besides, without your help from before, we wouldn't even be able to have this concert. I'd say you've all earned those tickets."

"So sis, what're you doing out in the venue?" Kana asks.

"Mostly just sightseeing while Ogawa-san finishes up with preparations." Serena answered, "By the way, where's Chris-chan and Hibiki-chan?"

"Didn't Genjuro-sensei tell you?" Kana answers with a question of her own, "They were assigned a mission to help escort Solomon's Cane with Aoi-san."

"I see..." Serena said before noticing how close to showtime it was, "Shoot! I need to get going! Enjoy the show girls!" With that, Serena ran off to meet up with Ogawa and the idols of Zwei Wing.

"Your sister's such a nice person, Kana." Miku said, "It honestly surprises me that you two aren't directly related."

"Yeah." Kana says, appreciating the compliment. "Come on. Let's get ready for the concert."

Ogawa's POV:
Queens of Music Concert: Backstage

Following the events that took place in the Embassy, Genjuro called Ogawa and informed him about the disappearance of Solomon's Cane amidst the Noise rampage. "I understand the situation." He replies, "I'll bring the wielders back to base."

"That won't be necessary." Genjuro reassured Ogawa. "If the Noise are attacking, then we can't give up tonight's concert."

"Very well." Ogawa says in compliance. "I'll leave this to you, then." Ogawa then takes off his glasses and puts away his phone.

"What'd Boss say, Ogawa-san?" Kanade asked.

"That's he's expecting great things from you two today." Ogawa answers.

Tsubasa is quick to notice something's up, "You took off your glasses, meaning you're no longer in manager mode, Ogawa-san." Ogawa is taken aback by Tsubasa's quick retort. "The enemy will catch you if you can't remember your own habits. So what's actually going o-"

"It's almost time to begin!" One of the stage hands inform the idols, "Please get ready!"

"We'll be right there!" Kanade answered, before quickly turning back to Ogawa.

"For now, you two should just worry about doing your best on that stage." Ogawa states, "Besides, your songs are more than just weapons."

"I hate to admit it, but he's right Tsubasa." Kanade added. "For now, it's all we can do."

"Very well." Tsubasa agreed, "But I expect to hear the details later, Ogawa-san."

Just as they head out, Serena arrives, "Sorry I'm late!" She said.

"No worries, Serena-san." Ogawa reassured his assistant. "The show is about to start, so you're just in time."

Catching her breath from sprinting, she notices something about Ogawa, "Ogawa, why are your glasses off?" She asked, causing Ogawa to quickly put them back on. "Is everything alright with Genjuro-san and the others?"

"They're taking charge of the situation for the moment." Ogawa answers. "For now, we're to focus on tonight's concert. I'll catch you up to speed once the concert ends."

"Understood, senpai." Serena said, following Ogawa to watch their friends perform.

Kana's POV:
Queens of Music Concert Hall

The girls watch in awe as Maria finishes up her performance of her hit song Dark Oblivion, which was performed after Zwei Wing's Orbital Beat. "I have to admit, Maria-san's quite an amazing singer." Kana says.

"That's Maria Cadenzavna Eve for you!" Yumi fangirled. "I'd argue she's more than just amazing, especially after hearing her in person!"

"Despite appearing on the US charts only a few months ago, her stage presence is really something else." Shiori added.

"Originally, I was hoping to replicate something similar to her for the next school fair, but now that seems highly unrealistic." Yumi continued.

"There never really was a chance of that happening anyway, Itaba-san." Shiori retorted.

While she enjoyed the conversation between Yumi and Shiori, Kana noticed Miku look worriedly at her watch. "Nothing from Hibiki yet either, Miku?" Kana asks, receiving a defeated nod as a response.

"Bikki better hurry. It's almost time for the main event." Kuriyo added.

"Even after Serena-san went through all the trouble to get those tickets for us..." Shiori added. "It's not like an event like this is going to happen again anytime soon."

"Hey, come on now! Hibiki would never betray our expectations!" Yumi said, trying to cheer up Miku, "I'm sure she'll show up any second now!"

"Yumi's right." Kana adds, "I'm sure Hibiki's doing everything she can, while panicking, to get here and enjoy this concert with you."

Miku chuckles at Kana's subtle joke, "Thanks you two. I'm sure you're right, about her doing her best to get here." Suddenly, the lights start to dim in the stadium as the main event begins.

(Fushichō no Flamme begins to play)

Serena's POV:
Queens of Music Concert: Backstage

Along with the people in the stadium, Serena and Ogawa watched as the main event began: The collaboration song between Zwei Wing, represented by Tsubasa, and Maria Cadenzavna Eve. "I'm honestly surprised you let Tsubasa sing with Maria alone, Kanade." Serena says. "You seemed to look forward to this collaboration more than she did."

Kanade shrugs at Serena's remark, "I mean, it was her idea." she retorted, "Besides, as long as Tsubasa's happy, I'm happy."

"If you say so." Serena says, "If you ask me, Maria-san reminds me a lot of you in a way."

"W-What are you getting at?" Kanade asked nervously.

"Nothing..." Serena snickered, knowing Kanade was truly jealous of Maria and took the opportunity to tease her for it.

Maria and Kana's POVs:
Queens of Music Concert Hall

Once the song ended, the crowd exploded with cheers, especially from Yumi who fangirled like crazy. "Thank you, everyone!" Tsubasa said, "You always give me the courage to do my best. As thanks, I wish to give back some of that courage today to everyone who listens to our songs."

"I too shall give my songs to all that will hear them!" Maria adds, "I won't falter. I'll go as far and as fast I can. As long as you can keep up, you are welcome by my side!" Everyone around the world cheers for Maria. "It was an honor to participate in this concert, not to mention how grateful I am to have shared tonight's stage with Japan's top artists, Zwei Wing."

"I feel the same way." Tsubasa added, "I speak for both Kanade and myself when I say this: it was an honor to meet such a splendid artist." Tsubasa reaches her hand out to Maria, who returns the gesture with her own hand.

"Let us show them all the true power of songs." Maria says.

"The power they have to change the world for the better." Tsubasa added.

Maria smiles at Tsubasa, walking away before turning back to the crowd. "There's one more thing..."

Kana catches the sudden tone in Maria's voice. "Why do I suddenly have a bad feeling about this?" she says to herself.

As if to answer Kana's internalized question, Maria lets out a signal to someone offstage, summoning several Noise amongst the audience. Seeing this, the audience starts to panic. "Noise?!" Miku asked in shock.

"Remain calm." Maria mutters. "Remain calm!" She shouts.

The audience quiets down, still fearful of the Noise. Even Kana and the others are unable to comprehend why this is all happening. Suddenly, Kana heads for the nearest exit quickly but quietly. "Where are you going Kana?" Miku whispers.

"I need to help Tsubasa and get rid of those Noise." Kana answers quietly, "But it's too risky with all of these people watching."

Miku looks to the crowd of scared civilians and back to Kana. "Please, hurry!" Kana nods, quickly getting out of sight before Maria could notice.

Tsubasa looks on at the Noise, preparing to transform into her Gear before suddenly, "You never cease to amaze me." Maria chuckles at Tsubasa. "Despite the situation, you're going to try and fight me? Let's not get ahead of ourselves. Tell me, do you think the audience would survive being attacked by Noise?" Tsubasa didn't want to admit it, but Maria had her pinned through her hostages. "Not only that... But this concert's being broadcast worldwide. Sure, your government made the existence of the Symphogear System public, but their wielders' identities still remain unknown. Am I wrong, Tsubasa Kazanari-san?"

"Spare me the insult." Tsubasa retorted, despite Maria's words. "Even if you stayed silent, I would've drawn my sword without hesitation!"

"That's what I like about you, Tsubasa Kazanari." Maria chucked. "Now if only everyone could fight for one another as you do... Maybe, this world would be a much better place."

Tsubasa was surprised by these words. "Just who are you, Maria Cadenzavna Eve?"

"I suppose it's time I reveal the truth." Maria confidently says, bringing her mic back to her face. "We have the power to keep the Noise in check. And with it, we have demands for every single country on the planet!"

Rushing to Tsubasa's aid, Kana overhears that last bit of Maria's speech on a nearby monitor backstage, stopping to process it. "'Every single country'? Just what is she doing?"

"Declaring war on the world." Ogawa answered.

"Ogawa-san!" Kana shouts in surprise. "I'm glad you, Serena, and Kanade-san are okay!"

"Same goes for you, Kana-chan." Kanade replied. "Just how did you get out of there?"

"I snuck out during the chaos." Kana answers.

"And that's not all..." Maria continues, causing the group to watch as she threw her microphone into the air before doing something no one expected.

"Granzizel bilfen Gungnir zizzl"

(Ressō Gungnir begins to play)

Section Two HQ

"This waveform pattern..." Sakuya says in shock. "It's..."

Much to everyone's surprise, despite neither wielder of said Gear activating it, the monitor reported the Aufwachen Waveform as none other than...

"Gungnir?!" Genjuro shouts in surprise.

Kana's POV:
Queens of Music Concert: Backstage

Everyone looked at the monitor, unable to believe what they were seeing: Maria had her own Symphogear. "How is that possible?!" Kana says in shock. "I mean, sure, we have two Gungnir Gears, but Hibiki's is a fragment of Kanade-san's. Any ideas guys?" Kana looked to the group for answers, only to be met with Serena's paralyzed look of fear. "Serena? Are you okay?"

"That Black Gungnir..." Serena said in surprise. Seeing Maria in her Gungnir caused small pieces of her memories to return. "I've seen it before!"

"You've seen Maria-san's Gungnir?" Kanade asked. "How? We only heard about her a few days ago."

"There's no mistaking it..." Serena retorted, "If I'm right, then I think I used to know Maria-san, before the day I met Kana and Lilith."

Everyone looked at the monitor upon this revelation. "Just who really are you, Maria-san?" Kana thought to herself.

As if to answer, Maria picks up her mic and continues her speech. "I am... No... We are Finé." Maria says confidently. "And we are the ones who will bring about the end!"

Just hearing that name brings a chill down everyone's spines. "She's back already?!" Kanade shouted, heading towards the stage. "That's it! I'm going out there and dealing with her, now!"

"Wait, Kanade-san!" Kana pleas, "If you go out there, then the world will know Zwei Wing has a Symphogear user. Your career as an idol would be finished."

Kanade was frustrated by this, but Kana was right. "Then what are we supposed to do?! Tsubasa's trapped out there, alongside several hundred hostages!"

Kana thinks for a moment before turning back to Kanade. "I have a plan." Kana confidently answers. "If there's any way to get the audience out of there or kill the feed from those cameras, I can get out there and save Tsubasa-san!"

"But what about your identity?" Kanade asked, "Won't they be able to find out who you are the same way they would with me?"

"My Gear is good at hiding my identity." Kana answers, "All I need to do is not take off my mask, and I'm perfectly fine. You have to leave Maria to me for the moment!"

"Fine..." Kanade hesitantly agreed. "Then what can we do while you keep her busy?"

"First, we need to find a way to get the audience out of there." Kana says, turning to Ogawa and Serena, "Ogawa-san, you and Serena find a way to kill the cameras. Once they're down, Kanade and Serena can deal with the Noise and get everyone to safety."

"Understood!" Ogawa replied, "Let's hurry, Serena-san!" Serena nods, still shaken by the reveal of Maria's Gungnir, but determined enough to save her friend, as well as the several hundred hostages.

"Once the cameras go dark, the Noise are all yours, Kanade-san." Kana continues.

"Gladly." Kanade said, "Gotta say, Kana-chan, I'm surprised you're able to keep calm in this situation."

"Oh trust me, I'm very scared right now." Kana reassures the idol. "I just have to stay strong if I want to have any chance of dealing with Maria-san."

"I see." Kanade said, understanding the dragon princess' concern. "Then we better get into position if we want to deal with this threat! Good luck, Kana-chan!"

"Same to you, Kanade-san!" Kana replies, waving to Kanade as she left. "Okay Kana, you can do this!" She says to herself. "I'm coming Tsubasa-san!"

A/N: And with that, Part 2 has begun!

Now for an explanation, I decided not to include the Solomon's Cane escort scene in this because, even with 3 extra wielders, I felt like the outcome would be the same: They defeat the Noise, Dr. Ver thanks them, Noise suddenly appear, and the Cane is gone.

Regardless, I think this is a good place to leave off for now. Thanks for reading and I shall see you in the next chapter!
