Neb: I do not own Beyblade, Beyblade Burst, or any other titles of Beyblade. This is a story about my OC Sin Venger. We are now in the semifinals with Valt vs Domori and Sin vs the Masked Blader Concealed. Only one blader can move on to facing Aiger Akabane. Sin has come a long way since she relaunched herself into the Beyblade world. I can't wait to see where she takes the battles from here. I hope you all enjoy. We will continue the semifinals with Sin vs Concealed.
Sin sat back on the bench as Komoto and Crystal were giving her a pep talk. Shu was over by Valt as they went over new ideas to improve their beyblades. Sin realized that's what the importance of losing is, knowing where your beyblade's flaws are and correcting them. That's how Harmonic Spriggan was born from Halberd Spriggan. "It's almost over," Sin realized. All she needed to do was defeat Concealed and then she could move on to facing her brother.
"Remember," Komoto begun. "Both of your upcoming opponents have spring loaded beyblades, so they'll pack a punch. Your spin stealing should help you keep up with that. I suggest you use left spin against them, since we know both of your opponents are right spin beyblades."
"We don't really know all of Changeling's tricks," Sin pointed out. "My brother might have used all of his against Norman, Valt, and Lui, but we should remain cautious."
"Cautious," Crystal laughed. "Who are you and what have you done with Sin?"
Sin looked down as she blushed.
"Sorry," Crystal smiled. "That was mean, I know your thinking about battling your brother."
"That's not all I'm thinking about," Sin grunted. "Concealed had been giving me the stink eye since I got here. We don't know who that blader is or what their deal is. Not to mention they beat Shu, I haven't even beaten Shu yet!"
"It's true that Turbo Spriggan and Harmonic Spriggan have very similar builds," Komoto pointed out. "Your Fangs of the Demon is the main difference."
"Right," Crystal nodded. "That one spike might save your life."
"Or activate another hidden gimmick in their beyblade," Sin grunted. "Why does my opponent have to be some mystery child, I would have rather fought Valt, he's an open book at least!"
"Your overthinking it," Shu pointed out as he and Valt headed towards them. "It's true, they defeated my Turbo Spriggan, but because of you Spriggan is still in the game."
"That's a fun way of looking at it," Valt nodded. "You are the inheritor of Legend Spriggan after all."
Sin nodded at the two of them. "Sorry you lost to my brother Valt."
"Don't sweat it," Valt grinned. "That was a fun battle, and I'm sure the next time we face each other I'll win."
"Any advice for me? For facing Domori or Concealed?"
"Don't get in your own way," Shu informed. "Their blades are hard to knock down, but knocking an opponent down isn't the only way to win."
"See, spin stealing was the answer," Komoto laughed.
"I wouldn't say it's the answer," Shu shook his head. "Remember that fighting Calamity Changeling is fighting two different beyblades. Think of fighting it in levels. When it's closed up, it's level one. When it opens it is level two. Then when it releases it's hidden beyblade your on level three. I don't think there are any more phases after that, so you should be good."
"Fighting Domori will be different," Valt nodded. "They may both be spring loaded, but when Mighty Draconids transforms to Shadow Draconids it still has a way to turn back. I don't think Calamity Changeling can turn back once it's released it's inner blade."
Sin nodded. "Thanks for the advice guys." With that she headed out to the arena where Concealed was waiting for her.
"It's about time," Concealed spoke up. "At last we can finally settle who is better."
"You act like you know me," Sin pointed out. "Your voice sounds familiar. Who are you?"
"I suppose the facade has gone on for long enough," Concealed smiled. "You might remember a girl named Candice Suun?"
"Candice?", Sin repeated. She shook her head for a moment as she tried to remember and then sighed. "I don't think I..." Her eyes widened for a moment.
"There it is," Concealed grinned as she removed her mask revealing a blonde girl with short hair and green eyes. "I can't believe you almost forgot your old gym buddy."
"You're an upperclassman," Sin remembered. "You convinced me to start running track! I guess your into beyblade now."
"You use to race against me all the time," Candice begun. "But I could never keep up even though I was the one who brought you on the team. Then I find out you stopped showing up to track for this dumb game?"
"It's not dumb," Sin yelled. "It took me a while to see that, but this game is about forging bonds!"
"What about our bond?", Candice argued. "We were rivals Sin, didn't you care about that? Was I just always in your shadow?"
Candice readied her beyblade for launch. "My Calamity Changeling was born to avenge our forgotten past. I've studied up on both you and your brother when we were younger, and eventually I came upon some old documents of his, theories about the perfect beyblade design."
"Spring Loaded Beyblades," Domori sighed.
"That's right," Candice winked. "You really should keep better track of your papers honey."
"She's got a point," Valt pointed out to Aiger and Shu. "When I went into Domori's hotel room, the whole place was covered in blueprints."
"Sh-shut up Valt," Domori yelled.
"I'm surprised you abandoned this design," Candice sighed. "After learning how to make my build, Changeling was born. I went through a couple different test copies before landing on Calamity Changeling and from there I swept through multiple ranked bladers as the Masked Blader Concealed. Being mysterious definitely helped with my image and got me a nice spot in this tournament, where I get to crush you and your brother."
"Candice," Sin responded. "I'm sorry I hurt you." She got into her own beyblade stance. "But you aren't getting in the way of me facing my brother!"
"Please," Candice grinned. "I've already beat Spriggan in the hands of it's true owner. What is your dumb copy going to do?"
"Are you really that confident?", Sin wondered. "You surprised Shu with a hidden beyblade. I use to hide a dagger in my beyblade as well, but that gimmick stops working when everyone knows what to expect."
"I don't know," Candice shook her head. "It took a very long time for Phi to finally get defeated and he faced off against people who were familiar with Phoenix's outer ring. But enough talking, I intend to beat you here, and when I do I want you to return to track. Give up this game and grow to be the runner who will keep our school on the map, and then maybe someday I'll beat you at running as well."
"Give up beyblade," Sin repeated. "I won't do that, even if I lose!"
"Sin," Lui shouted.
Sin turned her head to Lui who was infuriated.
"You might as well have already thrown in the towel with a line like that," Lui growled. "Beyblade is about winning, there's no ifs or buts! If she wants you to give up the game after losing, then you meet her challenge head on and then win!"
"Lui," Sin responded.
"He's right," Hyde nodded. "You think I would accept a loss from someone who's afraid to take risks. Show Concealed the power you used to defeat my Afterlife Hades."
"Guess those two were pretty good guys after all," Valt grinned. Lui and Hyde both glared daggers at Valt after that, and he laughed nervously in response.
Sin smiled and then nodded. She turned to her brother who glared back at her.
The words of Free De La Hoya echoed in Domori's mind. He wasn't concerned about losing until those very words were uttered. "Don't you want to win?"
"Hey Sin, come face me in the finally," Domori called out. "My Draconids wants to meet Spriggan in battle, and I'd be a liar if I pretended the thought didn't excite me as well."
Sin grinned at her brother and then turned to meet Concealed. "Fine, I'll put Spriggan down for good if I lose. But I won't."
"Looks like the crowd is on your side," Candice sighed as she tossed her mask and jacket off to the side. "I don't care what they think, I only care about destroying you like you destroyed me!" Darkness swarmed around Candice as her eyes went purple.
The gold flames flowed around Sin as her eyes turned red.

"Let it rip!"
They both went for a jump kick launch at the same time using the power of their legs to add force to their blades. Changeling and Spriggan went wild after that as they clashed against each other all along the arena.
"So you learned resonance," Sin grunted. "Who taught you?"
"Some rich dude," Candice shrugged. "He shattered my Changeling back in it's early development stage. I took that lesson to heart and the image of Changeling Shattering fills my mind every time I call upon my resonance. Did you go through the same thing?"
"Yeah," Sin nodded. "Spriggan was shattered by Wasuke's Sword Driver back when I turned it into Rotation Spriggan. Ever since then I had been forcing a connection between myself and Spriggan. But I no longer need to force that connection, I am Legend Spriggan's inheritor!"
"Your all talk," Candice yelled. "Changeling, Open Up!" As Harmonic Spriggan collided with Calamity Changeling, it got punched back just like Turbo Spriggan once did.
"Your kidding," Sin responded.
"All you did was just make me stronger," Candice roared. "Changeling phase two is complete, go on offense!"
Changeling started hitting Spriggan from all sides as it rushed Spriggan.
"Don't let up Spriggan," Sin called out. "Harmonic Counter!"
"You don't learn," Candice laughed. "Shu tried that already!"
As Spriggan went for a counter, it forced the second blade to emerge from the top of Changeling.
"Calamity Double Crumble," Candice called out. Both of her blades clashed against Harmonic Spriggan from both sides. "Burst her, no break her!" Darkness flowed from her blade as Candice grinned evilly. "Shatter that relic and be done with it!"
"You forgot the on difference between my blade and Shu's blade," Sin smiled. "But you didn't get to face Quon, so it's understandable."
"What?", Candice responded.
"Fangs of the Demon!", Sin roared. Spriggan emerged behind her as she called out her move.
The points on top of the axe and hidden within the top of the axe swung at both blades sending them flying back.
"That's annoying, but both my blades are still spinning," Candice grinned. "Changeling continue your assault!" Both of her blades moved in on Spriggan that maintained it's distance from both of them. "Running? What a coward?"
"Not running," Sin called out. "Wearing you down!"
Candice stared at her confused and then turned her head down to Changeling. She saw her extra blade stopped spinning and was now laying on the ground. Her Changeling was still spinning, but it was fighting alone now.
"I would imagine your blade lost a lot of weight when releasing it's partner out," Sin grinned. "Harmonic Spriggan go for an Axe Crash!"
Candice's eyes widened. "No, Changeling move!"
It was too later, Changeling was bursted open in one shot.
"No," Candice yelled.
The crowd started cheering and chanting Sin's name across the stadium as they thumped their feet on the floors of the bleachers.
Sin raised her arms after that and soaked in the cheers from the audience.
"Now that's how you win," Lui grinned.
"It's just like she said," Hyde pointed out. "When someone already knows all your hidden gimmicks, it's hard to win after that. I defeated her Halberd Spriggan the same way by watching Sin beat Evel and Count Nightfell."
"I learned her Rotation Spriggan's weakness was from above when I saw her face off against my team," Wasuke admitted.
"She made it to the finally in spite her losses against us," Norman commented. "I guess that goes to show much progress she's made."
"She learned from her mistakes," Shu smiled. "And used that to design a well balanced beyblade. I look forward to see what she and her brother does in future generations of this game."
"Let's focus on the current one now," Shu smiled as he pulled a package out of his pocket. "It's about time I go talk to Domori."
"Nobody move," Wakiya called out. "We'll be jumping right in to the final battle now!"
"Already?", Valt complained. "We got a break when their were eight of us!"
"Sorry Valt," Wakiya smiled. "But Aiger's gotten a little impatient, so I've got to move this along."
"Hurry up and battle already!", Aiger yelled.
Valt chuckled before putting the package back in his pocket. "I guess it can wait."
"Alright then, Domori step up to your sister and shake her hand," Wakiya called out. "You two had made it to the finally, only one of you can face Aiger Akabane our current Champion!"
Domori felt the spotlight move on him and then sighed. "Competitive Beyblade," he groaned before getting up.
"Maybe he hadn't changed that much after all," Fazia pointed out.
"Yeah that sounds like Domori," Kudo agreed.
Domori headed down to the arena and readied himself with a left handed launch. "I'm going full power for this one Sin!"
"Let's go bro," Sin called out.
