Author's Note: This chapter will involve some torture
Some time later, Lapis and Yang sat at different tables outside of a cafe. Lapis had on a black wig with wolf ears on it. Blake and Onyx were on a roof nearby.
"So, what's the plan?" Yang asked through an earpiece the four women had in.
"That Mirialan guy across the street in the black clothes. He's an Imperial spy. We need to lure him away from the public." Lapis said.
"Once you have him isolated, Onyx and I will nab him." Blake said.
"I don't like hiding this from them. After all, Ozma and Salem raised me as one of their own." Onyx said.
"But now you know you have actual blood relatives living through my uncle and mother, your father and aunt." Yang said.
"Eyes on the prize, ladies." Lapis said. "Yang, let's go. Blake, Nyx, shadow us and wait for the signal."
The blonde and the Faunus stood up and began walking. As expected, the spy followed them down an alley and he smirked when he had them pinned.
"Nowhere to run, Lazuli. Surrender to Lord Vader and the Emperor and your friend to help ensure order returns to the galaxy."
"I have a better idea. Why don't you hit the deck?" She asked then he landed on the ground thanks to Onyx and Blake, who smirked. He passed out after the attack then Yang carried him a couple blocks away to what looked like a decrepit apartment building. The four women entered the building and the interior showed a drastic contrast to the exterior. It was clean and had a good amount of tech in it. The others were in the apartment, waiting. Lapis took the wig off then shook her head to loosen her hair.
Yang tied the spy to a chair and they waited for him to wake up. When he did, he immediately began to struggle.
"Struggling is useless. You're not going anywhere until you answer something for us." Lapis said, her grip tight on her sword as she pointed it at his throat, getting him to look at her with a glare.
"I'll die for the Empire!" He snarled.
Lapis put her sword away then pulled out a tanto knife and jammed it into his knee, causing him to scream in pain while everyone but Yang watched in stunned silence. She made him look at her.
"Eyes over here or I'll cut your entire upper leg." She said darkly and he nodded. "Now...that Inquisitor I fought. The one with a scythe instead of a lightsaber. How long has she served the Empire?"
He got quiet so she twisted the knife until it was turned to cut towards his waist. "Two years! Lord Vader took her prisoner and brainwashed her!"
"Can it be broken?" Yang demanded, her eyes a bright red.
Again he went quiet so Lapis moved the knife an inch before he groaned.
"Talk or she'll break your jaw!" Lapis threatened.
"I don't know, okay?! I don't know! I never saw what he did to her! He just told me to bring her to him!"
"Who would know?!" Yang said as Lapis stabbed him in the hand.
"WATTS! Arthur Watts! He was the one Lord Vader asked to help ensure it went smoothly!"
"And where is Watts?!" Lapis demanded.
"Coruscant! That's all I know! I swear!"
Lapis withdrew her tanto and cleaned the blood off of it while Yang just knocked him out with a powerful punch.
"You both didn't have to do that." Weiss said.
"It's no more than he deserved." Lapis said with a blank expression after putting her knife away.
"Lapis is right." Yang said.
"Now, we have to be careful. Ozma and Salem trusted Watts before he betrayed Remnant to the Empire."
Yang nodded. "I know a smuggler who can get us to Coruscant." She said.
Lapis nodded back. "How long will it take to hear back?"
"Shouldn't be long."
"Then I'll make sure to be ready."
Yang pulled out her Scroll and made the call.
Velvet looked at Lapis with a worried expression.
"I know that look, Bun-Bun. I don't regret doing it. This is my best friend we're talking about." The wolf Faunus said as she turned to her wife.
Velvet just pulled her close. "Please don't scare me like that again..."
Lapis hugged back. "I promise I won't..."
Yang soon walked back to the group. "We're in luck. He said he plans on heading to Coruscant to drop off some medical supplies in a couple days, so he'll smuggle us onto the planet."
Lapis nodded at Yang. "That works perfectly."
"Velvet and I are coming too." Blake said in a firm voice, the rabbit Faunus nodding in agreement with her sister-in-law.
Lapis and Yang sighed but nodded then the blonde turned to the spy. "And what about him?" She asked with gritted teeth and red eyes.
"Leave that to me." Lapis said as the spy was waking up. She grabbed his chin and made him look at her as her eyes changed colors. "Forget this ever happened. You had an accident and needed to get to the hospital."
He nodded then Yang got him out of the safehouse and to close to the hospital before returning.
"If we're careful, we'll get the intel from Watts then free my best friend." Lapis said.
Yang nodded. "Then let's save my sister." She said with a determined tone in her voice.
When the day came, the four women walked to a Faunus with goat legs and he looked at them.
"Ray, thank you so much for this." Yang said.
"No problem, kid. I've got the smuggling compartments ready for you four." Ray said.
The four walked into Ray's supply ship and saw a carbon-freezing station.
Yang looked at Ray. "This is new."
"If you ladies want onto Coruscant undetected, this is your best bet." He said simply.
The four nodded then one at a time became encased in carbonite. Ray walked to the cockpit and began to fly to Coruscant.
