Believe in your justice and follow the path it creates
Chapter 6:
New Power

Kana and Chris' POVs:
S.O.N.G. HQ

Everyone in the command center was shocked by what they were seeing. "That's... That's Finé's power..." Kana says. "But that shouldn't be possible. Finé's soul vanished after Shirabe took the attack from Igalima back on Frontier."

Everyone was equally as confused by this as Kana was. But before they could question it any further, the barrier around Shirabe started to crack. "We can worry about it later!" Chris shouts, heading for the exit to the ship.

"Yukine stop!" Tsubasa shouted, grabbing her by the arm just before she could leave. "How exactly do you think we can help them?"

"Are you telling me to stay put and watch them die?" Chris asks.

But Tsubasa did not answer with words, she answered with a serious look that practically told her to not act recklessly. Thankfully, Elfnein entered the room right as Tsubasa finally managed to put some sense into the Ichaival wielder. "Tsubasa-san. Chris-san." Elfnein said to the two. "I have something for the two of you. Lilith-san? Would you mind taking us to the lab?"

"Of course." Lilith said, teleporting out of the room with Chris, Tsubasa, and Elfnein.

"I hope whatever Elfnein has for them will save Kirika-chan and Shirabe-chan." Kana says. Suddenly, the door opens again, but this time it wasn't Elfnein nor any of the others that disappeared with her and Lilith. It was, "Hibiki!"

"Hibiki!" Miku said as she runs to her best friend and gives her a big hug. "Thank you. You saved my li-"

"No, I should be the one thanking you, Miku." Hibiki interjected. "It's thanks to you that I was able to sing again."

Miku was confused by Hibiki's appreciation, but didn't choose to question it. "But... are you okay?"

"Of course!" Hibiki answers. "I've never been better!" Despite saying this, Miku and Kana could clearly see Hibiki's hand was shaking.

"That's great to hear, Hibiki!" Kana says, choosing to not discuss what herself and Miku saw now.

"But enough about me. Please, tell me what's going on." Hibiki requested.

Shirabe and Kirika's POVs:
The Port near S.O.N.G. HQ

On the port, Shirabe was lost for words. "How... How is this possible?" She thought. "Finé's gone but I can still access her- !" In that moment, Shirabe remembered something from her last meeting with Finé:

"Sometime in the future, people will be connected once more. However, such a time isn't one a ghost should be responsible for bringing about. But while I still persist, allow me to give you something that can assist you in the future. I know you will find a good use for this gift. But now, it's time you returned to the world of the living. Farewell..."

"So... This was the 'gift' Finé was talking about..." Shirabe realizes. However, while she was lost in thought, the Alca-Noise were still trying to attack her, the sound of Asgard cracking making that problem known to Shirabe. "I can worry about Finé later. Right now, I need to find a way to get myself and Kiri-chan out of here."

"Aww... Why are you hiding behind those barriers? You're not making this fun anymore!" Micha said, barely audible to Shirabe through the barrier. "If you're not going to let them come in, then I'll just make you come out!" Saying this, Micha starts firing tons of small fire crystals at Shirabe's Asgard, causing the crack to become larger and larger.

"Shirabe... I don't know how you're doing this... But please, don't die..." Kirika says aloud to herself. "Someone... Anyone... Please... Save my Shirabe!"

"Bye bye stupid barrier!" Micha shouted as she sent one final giant crystal towards the breaking barrier.

As it landed on the broken surface, Shirabe closed her eyes, prepared to be seriously injured from the explosion, but when she heard the explosion, she didn't feel anything. She waited, but still nothing happened, even the sound of the Alca-Noise had stopped. Slowly, she opened her eyes to see what happened, and was shocked by what, or rather, who she saw this time. "Lilith-san?"

"Thank the Gods! We managed to make it just before it was too late." Lilith said, letting out a sigh of relief.

"Shirabe!" Kirika shouts happily, jumping up and hugging her best friend, before being quickly covered by Lilith's blue jacket. "I was so worried dess! Thank you so much Lilith-san!"

"Don't just thank me, Kirika-chan." Lilith said, pointing out towards the smoke. "Thank them as well." As the smoke cleared, all of the Alca-Noise that were surrounding Shirabe were now either full of holes or had multiple gashes and severed limbs. In the middle of it all where Shirabe once stood, was none other than Tsubasa and Chris, both clad in their Ame no Habakiri and Ichaival Symphogears once more. "I'll leave the rest to you two. Good luck!"

Kana and Hibiki's/Chris and Tsubasa's POVs:
S.O.N.G. HQ/ The Port near S.O.N.G. HQ

Once Lilith disappeared from the battlefield with Shirabe and Kirika in tow, Tsubasa and Chris focused their attention to Micha. "So what's the plan, Senpai?" Chris asks.

"Well, I doubt mere retaliation would be enough." Tsubasa says. "So it's time for a full-on counteroffensive!"

"Looks like they got away..." Micha said. "Oh well. They were starting to be boring. Maybe you'll be much more fun!" As she says this, Micha throws down more crystals that summon more Alca-Noise in front of Chris and Tsubasa.

"Let's warm up by taking out these weaklings!" Tsubasa says, readying her sword.

Chris nods in agreement with her senpai. "Time to take out the trash!"

(BAYONET CHARGE begins to play)

Together, both wielders charge at the horde of Alca-Noise, slashing and shooting through them with ease.

"Ame no Habakiri and Ichaival are both in condition green." Sakuya reported.

"Are these the enhanced Symphogears?" Aoi asked aloud, amazed by how easily Chris and Tsubasa dispatched the Alca-Noise.

"Project Ignite didn't stop at merely repairing the damaged Symphogears." Elfnein stated, entering the command center moments prior. "It increased their output, and adjusted their barriers to limit the dissection organs' effects."

"That's pretty badass, Elfnein-chan!" Kanade said, patting Elfnein on the back.

As their fight continued, multiple Alca-Noise tried to destroy Tsubasa's sword by grabbing it with their dissection organs and, much to Elfnein's word, nothing happened to the sword and Tsubasa easily dealt with her assailants. And once all of the Alca-Noise were dealt with, Tsubasa and Chris wasted no time turning their attention to dealing with Micha.

Tsubasa jumps into the air and strikes at Micha with a new variation of her Blue Flash: Blue Sword Lightning Punishment. Micha however is quick to evade this attack, but this is what they were expecting her to do as Chris sends a Mega Deth Fuga right where Micha was landing, causing a massive explosion. "Heh. Loser." Chris says confidently.

"Hold on Yukine." Tsubasa says. Unfortunately, as the smoke cleared, it turns out the attack didn't hit the intended target, but rather a magic barrier.

"My bad, Master..." Micha said to Carol, apologizing for being too careless.

"It's fine." Carol replied. "I could tell just from trying to block that attack that I need to handle this."

"So the final boss finally shows herself, huh?" Chris says.

"How convenient." Tsubasa adds. "We'd like to put an end to this as soon as possible."

"The plan's execution takes priority above all else." Carol said to Micha. "Retreat and leave this to me."

"Okie Dokie!" Micha said, following Carol's orders and crushing a capsule in her hand, chuckling as she disappears.

"You're just gonna run away?!" Chris shouts, annoyed their opponent would leave in the middle of their fight.

"Rest assured, I alone am more than capable of handling both of you at once." Carol reassured.

"Given your stature, I find that difficult to believe." Tsubasa retorts.

Carol chuckled at Tsubasa's remark. "I see. Well, I don't want you to complain later on that you couldn't fight me seriously due to my child-like form... Allow me to shed any hesitation from your mind!" Saying this, Carol summons forth a mysterious purple harp and strums its chords.

Meanwhile in HQ, an alert shows up on the monitors, revealing something no one expected. "An Aufwachen waveform?! Wait, no. But it's an extremely similar energy pattern." Aoi reported.

"Don't tell me..."

"She's activating a relic?!" Maria said, finishing Kana's train of thought.

"The Faust Robe of Dur da Blá."

(Senkin Dur da Blá (Instrumental) begins to play)

A light engulfs Carol's form in the same manner that the Symphogears engulf their wielders before a transformation. However, unlike the Symphogear transformations, Carol's form starts to grow from within the light and, once it dissipates, Carol's once child-like form is replaced with that of a fully grown adult form wearing a purple and black outfit with a matching hat with four gems of various colors on it. "This should suffice, I assume?" The fully grown Carol asked.

With her transformation complete, Carol starts the fight once more, slashing at the wielders with several harp strings acting as whips, forcing Tsubasa and Chris to evade them or risk getting sliced into ribbons. "Getting bigger doesn't change your chances of winning this fight!" Tsubasa shouts as she charges towards Carol.

"This only makes things more interesting!" Chris adds as she fires at Carol with her Gatling guns. Despite this, Carol just continued to force them on the defensive.

"She isn't singing." Sakuya noticed. "So where is she getting this incredible energy from?"

"Memory combustion." Elfnein answered, confusing Sakuya. "Carol and the Autoscorers derive power from transmuted electrical signals that form memories in the brain. Beings that have only existed for a short while lack enough memories to effectively convert into offensive power, which requires them to steal memories from others. But Carol has lived for centuries and has amassed many memories of her own."

"Which allows her all of this power?" Serena asked, receiving a nod from Elfnein.

"And what happens to the memories after they've been transmuted into power?" Genjuro asked.

"They are combusted and lost." Elfnein answers. "Carol is expecting to finish this here and now."

"Gods... Just the thought of using your own memories as a form of power makes me sick, much less the memories of so many innocent people..." Kana says.

Everyone in the command center watch on in horror as Carol is making quick work of Tsubasa and Chris with offensive spells and defensive harp strings. Despite this one sided 2v1, Chris and Tsubasa are still barely able to continue fighting. "Not yet! They're not down yet!" Maria shouted.

"The Ignite Module's full potential will soon be put on display." Elfnein said, which caused Hibiki, having only heard of it briefly from Kanade, to pay close attention to what will happen next.

"Ugh! To hell with this!" Chris shouts in frustration.

"Are you okay, Yukine?" Tsubasa asks.

"I've been better. But I'm still more than able to pull out our trump card." Chris answers.

Carol overheard this and scoffed. "If you have a trick up your sleeve, by all means feel free to show it. The outcome of this fight is the same regardless."

Hearing this taunt, Chris looks to her Senpai. "We're doing this together, right?"

"Of course." Tsubasa says. "I won't let you do this alone." With a final nod, both wielders grab their pendants and shout in unison:

"Ignite Module! Drawn Blade!"

Together, they click on their pendants, removing them from the spot on their chest as a robotic voice says "Dáinsleif" before the pendant goes into the sky and changes into a sharper design. Along with the new design, a fourth spike extrudes from the pendant, facing Chris and Tsubasa as it flies back at them and pierces their chest where the pendant once sat.

As they were pierced, a dark red aura surrounds the two wielders as they writhe in agony from how painful the process was. "This power... is ripping me apart..." Tsubasa manages to say through the immense pain.

Flashback:
S.O.N.G. HQ

"Project Ignite." Genjuro announced as the name appears on the monitor behind Elfnein.

"As you are already aware, the Symphogear system has several functions that can turn the tide of battle." Elfnein said.

"The Superb Songs..." Tsubasa says.

"...and X-Drive mode." Chris adds.

"However, the Superb Songs are intended for close-range combat as a last resort at the risk of the wielder's life." Elfnein continued.

"That's where X-Drive comes into play." Chris says.

"That can only work when large amounts of phonic gain are available." Ogawa interjected. "We can't incorporate a miracle into our strategy."

"Don't talk about it like it's useless!" Chris retorts.

"Have you forgotten that the Symphogears possess one other function?" Elfnein asked, which made the wielders think for a moment before remembering a certain moment in their previous battles with Finé and Dr. Ver's Nephilim.

"Hibiki-chan going berserk is not a 'function'!" Kanade said.

Coming to the same conclusion as everyone else, Chris walks up to Elfnein and grabs her by her shirt collar. "You'd better not be suggesting what I think you're suggesting!"

Unfazed by Chris' anger, Elfnein answered, "The goal of Project Ignite is to harness that berserk power and transmute it into raw combat power that can be used to fight Carol."

Back in HQ, everyone watched as Tsubasa and Chris were suffering from the activation of the Ignite Module, a sight that disturbed Kanade and Kana the most, and even then, the latter had a lot more trouble keeping these worries hidden than the former. "Dáinsleif, the core of the Ignite module, is the legendary sword of murder. Its curse amplifies the darkness that exists within all hearts and causes an artificially induced berserker state." Elfnein said, only making Kana's already large discomfort towards the project that much greater as the psychotic laughter from her nightmare echoes in her mind.

"However, should the users have the strength of will to suppress the blade's destructive urges..."

"The Symphogears can defeat Carol's alchemy!" Elfnein finished Genjuro's statement.

"Strength of will..." Hibiki mumbles aloud.

As for Chris and Tsubasa, the pain only grew more and more intense with no sign of stopping as they felt themselves losing all control. "That idiot had to deal with these impulses this whole time?" Chris thought to herself.

"I feel as though losing focus for even a brief moment will send me immediately into darkness." Tsubasa thought, as the world around her started to fade to black.

Tsubasa's mind

After a moment of darkness, Tsubasa woke up in an entirely different place than she was a moment ago. "A stage?" She thought, remembering all of the happy memories she shared with Kanade and Maria in their performances. "I will sing the songs I love here once again! I won't give up on my drea-"

She raises her head to see the stands before her, only to be greeted to the site of hordes of Alca-Noise, but Tsubasa immediately understands why this is. "Only my foes will listen to my songs?" This thought pains Tsubasa. "Every time a new foe appears, I am forced to sing the songs of battle..."

Suddenly, the her mind shifts to a point in her life when she was younger as she sits in front of an older man.

"Father!" The young Tsubasa cries.

"You are not my daughter." The man coldly said. "You're just a filthy tool of the Kazanari family." The words he said caused the young Tsubasa to cry.

"And yet, I yearn for him to accept me. That's why I trained myself to be a sword." Tsubasa thought, the last word she thought echoing in her head. "That's right. I am but a sword. A tool that is not allowed to dream... A sword!"

Suddenly, another spotlight turns on near Tsubasa, revealing her partner who smiled warmly at her. "Kanade!" Tsubasa says happily as she runs over to hug her, only for Kanade to fall apart. "But if I'm a sword, then I cannot embrace those I hold dear..." Tsubasa says to herself, before falling to her knees and crying.

S.O.N.G. HQ

"Their minds can't handle the feedback from the system!" Sakuya reported.

"At this rate, Tsubasa-san and Chris-chan..."

"...will go berserk." Genjuro said, finishing Aoi's sentence.

"Throwing them into this without proper testing was a bad idea." Ogawa said.

"But even still, please believe in them. In Tsubasa-san and Chris-san." Elfnein pleaded.

Chris' mind

Chris awoke in her mind as Tsubasa had, but instead of a stage, Chris woke up in, "A classroom?" she says, retreating into her mathematics book when one of the other students make eye contact with her, but she then looks back out at the classroom soon after and thinks about how her life has changed for the better thanks to this place. "I've wished for a place like this for so long... But it still doesn't feel right."

"Then this spring, I got new underclassmen who look up to me, as well as a new roommate who I care about." She continues to herself, her thoughts turning to Kirika, Shirabe, and Kana. "But because I failed, they all got hurt... And even nearly died..." tears start forming in Chris' eyes. "I'm all alone, and can't even hope of having comrades, friends, a senpai, underclassmen, or even loved ones. If I do... If I ever do..."

The scene changes, showing the dock her and Tsubasa were just fighting Carol on, completely in ruins. But instead of seeing Carol or even Tsubasa, she was met with the sight of her precious underclassmen and roommate amidst the rubble. All three of them were in their school uniforms but they were unconscious, battered, and bruised. "This cruel world will take them from me, and I'll truly be all alone." Seeing this sight finally broke Chris as she started running in the void that was her mind, tears streaming down her face as she just kept running to escape the truth she feared, until a hand grabbed hers and pulled her back to reality.

The Port near S.O.N.G. HQ/S.O.N.G. HQ

"Sorry..." Tsubasa says to Chris. "I just felt like if I didn't hold onto your hand, then I would've been drawn into an endless abyss..."

Chris simply chuckles at this. "I needed that wake-up call. That dream just about got the better of me." She says as a white light flashes around them both, reverting them to their normal Gears.

"It didn't work?" Carol said aloud, disappointed that all of their efforts resulted in nothing.

Meanwhile in HQ, the Alca-Noise alarm was going off, but that wasn't their biggest concern at the moment. "The wielders have failed to activate the Module!" Aoi reported.

While Kanade and Kana were relieved that their friends didn't lose themselves to the Ignite Module, the results were far from what Elfnein had hoped for. "I guess my alchemy can't stop Carol after all..." She said.

"It's okay." Miku said, comforting the saddened homunculus. "Besides, it's not as though all hope is lost." Miku raises Elfnein's closed hand, which surprises the group when they see what's in it.

"That's..."

"It's Hibiki-san's enhanced Gungnir." Elfnein answered Kana's question.

Hearing this, Hibiki calmly puts her hand over Elfnein's. "I won't let them destroy our Gears, or our hopes, ever again. You have my word, Elfnein-chan." Hibiki says, which gives Elfnein hope as she heads to the exit of the command center.

Back on the port, Carol was far from impressed with the results of Tsubasa and Chris' attempted transformation. "Are you exhausted? Or were you just unable to handle the pressure?" Carol asked. "Either way, I shall give you the motivation to get back on your feet."

Without another word, Carol throws a big Alca-Noise crystal into the sky, summoning a giant flying Alca-Noise that brought forth its own smaller Alca-Noise beneath it, all of which divebombed the civilians in the nearby city. "You have two choices: Either stand and fight, or sit there and watch as the city is reduced to nothing."

Hearing Carol's threatening ultimatum, Chris and Tsubasa try with all of their might to stand up. "Give me the power to strike!"

"Give me the fangs to tear her apart!" They both plead to themselves, but despite their best efforts, they just cannot muster the strength to keep fighting.

"If you won't sing, then listen to the dying screams of the people who are dissected!" Carol said, watching the chaos wrought about by the Alca-Noise continue. That is until several rockets emerged from the bay, Hibiki riding the first rocket in the barrage as she destroys the giant flying Alca-Noise while the rockets deal with the rest of them. "About time you showed up..."

"Thank you, Tachibana. You're a lifesaver!" Tsubasa says as Hibiki lands next to them.

"We were in a pretty rough spot there..." Chris adds.

While Hibiki was happy for the warm welcome, she didn't want to waste any time. "Let's try using the Ignite Module one more time!" She says.

"But in our current condition, there's no guarantee we'll survive." Tsubasa says, voicing her concerns for herself and Chris.

"Miku told me that the Symphogears saved her." Hibiki states. "If this power truly exists to save people, then it should save us, their wielders, first of all! So we must have faith! What will break the curse of Dáinsleif is..."

"The Ame no Habakiri, which has always been with me." Tsubasa says.

"The Ichaival that changed my life." Chris adds.

"And the Gungnir!" Hibiki continues. "Let's believe in the song in our hearts! And in our Symphogears!"

"I feel dumb playing along with such a cheesy speech, but why not?" Chris jokes.

"Let's do it one more time!" Tsubasa adds, inspired by her ally's speech.

"Ignite Module! Drawn Blade!"

Once again, the wielders are put under the immense pressure of the Ignite Module, but the agents of S.O.N.G. are worried that things will end the same as the last attempt, while the other wielders put their faith in their friends.

"Don't give up!" Serena shouted.

"Slice up that curse!" Maria added.

"Prove that you're stronger than it!" Kanade said.

"Shoot it full of holes dess!" Kirika shouted, arriving at the command center with Shirabe and Lilith.

"Have courage, and punch through it with all your might!" Shirabe added.

"We all believe in you three, now show that Alchemist who's boss!" Kana says.

"Miku made me realize the determination needed to wield this power." Hibiki says to herself. "So I won't allow myself to be consumed by it!"

"None of us will!"

(RADIANT FORCE (IGNITED arrangement) begins to play)

The intense aura around all three of the wielders dissipate and reveal them in new sharper black sets of armor with accents of their respective Gears' colors, each of them surrounded by a controlled orange glow. Finally intrigued by their power, Carol decides to test them by bringing out, "Three thousand Alca-Noise!" The trio hear over their communicators.

"Only three thousand?" Hibiki taunts, charging into the horde with her new transformation as Tsubasa and Chris launch a Blue Flash and Mega Deth Quartet respectively into the horde as well, eviscerating the Alca-Noise in seconds.

"Now this is getting me excited!" Carol said, destroying the Alca-Noise closest to the wielders and entering the fray herself.

"Carol's Alchemy is extremely powerful." Ogawa stated. "But now, the wielders have power that rivals her own."

While everyone else watched on in anticipation, one person knew the truth to one of the wielders. "Hibiki's still crying on the inside from the pain of hurting others and being hurt in kind. I can't do much for her, but her smile, the tears hidden behind it, and the kindness in her fists... I can hold them all close. So I know... You can win this!"

As the fight continued, Carol was losing ground fast and, eventually, was defeated by a combined attack from the three wielders, reverting Carol to her child form. As the dust from Hibiki, Tsubasa, and Chris' final attack settled, Hibiki approached the beaten Carol. "Carol-chan, why did you want to tear apart the world?" She asks, reaching out her hand to help her up, which is quickly rejected by Carol.

"I forgot the reason... When I burned my memories to gain the power to fight." Carol answered. "Don't fool yourself into thinking that cursed melody could ever save anyone." Saying this, Carol smirked, before biting down on something in her mouth that let out a dark green flash of light. Seconds later, Carol fell completely to the ground, bursting into green flames.

This took the Gungnir wielder by surprise. "Carol-chan!" Hibiki screams. "If only I was able to get through to her... We could've talked this out and became friends. So why... Why did it have to end like this!?"

"Hey. You did what you could, Tachibana. You can't blame yourself for her choices." Tsubasa says, trying to calm her friend.

"Senpai's right. As much as I hate to say it, some people are just never going to change, no matter how hard you try." Chris adds, right as all three of their Ignite Gears revert to their normal states.

"But still..."

"There's nothing we can do now." Tsubasa interjects. "For now, we need to head back to base." With a dejected nod, Hibiki goes with Tsubasa and Chris back to S.O.N.G. HQ.

Kana's POV:
S.O.N.G. HQ

With Carol dealt with, the wielders of S.O.N.G. were left shocked by how things ended, leaving the command center to talk amongst themselves in the dining hall. "Gods... To think she would resort to that..." Kana thought aloud.

"It was truly the last thing any of us would have expected from her..." Serena said. "But for someone as dead set on their own goals as she was, I shouldn't be surprised she would have something like that up her sleeve."

"But there's no use in letting a surprise such as that leave us vulnerable." Genjuro said, walking over to the group. "We have other matters to take care of, such as Shirabe-kun's new power."

"Now that you mention it, I did have a question about that." Kana says. "Shirabe-chan? When I was reviving you on the Frontier, did something happen?"

"Yes. I saw Finé." Shirabe answered, shocking the group. "She talked with me before I came back, and right as I was coming back, she gave me 'a gift' but never told me what it was. After a while, I stopped wondering what this gift was, and then..."

"You discovered what her 'gift' was as the Alca-Noise slowly overwhelmed you?" Kanade asked, receiving a nod from Shirabe.

"Are you able to use her power willingly?" Serena asked.

"I don't know." Shirabe answered. "I tried using it while Kiri-chan and I were getting checked by Lilith-san, but I couldn't manage it like I did before. I'm still unsure as to how I was able to even use it."

"Maybe you got the power after using that second dose of LiNKER against the Autoscorer?" Kanade thought.

"I doubt it'd be something like that." Maria said.

"If I had to take a guess, maybe the power showed itself when she was afraid seeing herself and Kirika-chan die to the Alca-Noise?" Kana thought.

"I don't care what caused it, I'm just happy that you're still you, Shirabe dess." Kirika said, hugging her best friend.

Everyone couldn't agree more with Kirika. "Well, with that out of the way, Kana-kun, Elfnein-kun wishes to see you at the command center about your Symphogear."

While she was confused, she decided not to question it and see what Elfnein wanted.

"You called for me, Elfnein-chan?" Kana asks as she enters the command center where both Elfnein and Lilith were waiting for her.

"Yes. Please, come in Kana-san." Elfnein said. "Following your fight with Garie, Lilith-san and I decided that your Gear will not be receiving the Ignite Module."

Kana was shocked to hear this. "Why? Is there something wrong with my Gear?"

"Quite the opposite actually, Kana-san." Elfnein reassured the dragon girl. "Actually, your Yato Symphogear already possesses the ability to fight the Alca-Noise without the risk of being destroyed, but after some concerns that Lilith-san brought up with me regarding your bloodline, we decided to work on a version of the Ignite Module specifically attuned to your powers."

Kana was very confused by all of this, but decided to trust her Aunt and Elfnein. "Okay, so what is it you have in mind?"

As if to answer her question, a monitor appeared behind Elfnein in the same fashion that it had for Project Ignite's announcement to the other wielders. But instead of the red letters of "Project Ignite," Kana was instead met by a different, light grey and gold title that read:

"Project Radiance"

A/N: And with that, we end the chapter.

Honestly, I'm happy to finally be reaching the ability to even mention Project Radiance in this story, seeing it's one of the many things I've had planned for this part as I was working on the previous 2. I just hope you all are as excited as I am to see what happens with both it and Shirabe's Asgard as the story continues.

As for now, thank you for reading this chapter. I shall see you all in the next one!
