Part 3:
Believe in your justice and follow the path it creates
Chapter 12:
Radiant Dawn

Kana's POV:
Château de Tiffauges

"T-Two Kanas?!" The other four wielders shouted in surprise.

The two Kanas start clashing blades, however, the newer one quickly overwhelmed the original. After a while, the other "Kana" kicked Kana towards the other wielders. "Not exactly." They said. "There's Kana..." The other "Kana" pointed over to Kana who was struggling to stand. "...And then there's the weakling who sullies her name."

"What the hell did you say dess?!" Kirika shouted in anger.

"Kana-senpai is not a weakling!" Shirabe added.

The other Kana laughed. "Really now?" She asked. "Then tell me, why did she refuse the power of the Ignite Module?"

"But she didn't refuse its power!" Serena retorted. "Lilith-san-"

"Made the choice for her?" The other Kana interrupted. "She let someone else make her choice for her, ergo, refusing the Ignite Module. Refusing true power over a parlor trick all because 'Lilith feared the worst', right?"

Kana looks away from the evil version of herself. As much as she hated what the other her was saying, she still had a point. "I'm assuming that implies that you yourself have the Ignite Module?" Maria asked.

"Finally, someone among you four with a brain!" The other Kana sarcastically remarked.

"Then if this is how she would've acted with its power, I think Kana dodged a bullet." Maria continued.

The other Kana gave Maria a look of disapproval before flying over to her and kneeing her in the stomach. "Maria!" Everyone shouted.

Enraged, Serena, Kirika, and Shirabe all charged at the other Kana with everything they had, but she simply either dodged or blocked their attacks before wiping them all out with a single attack. "You still think I 'dodged a bullet', Maria?" The other Kana asked Maria in a mocking manner. "On second thought, I could care less what you have to say. It's time for all of you to di-"

But before the other Kana could finish her sentence, she was struck by a surprise attack by none other than the original Kana. "Kana!/Kana-senpai!/Kana-sama!" The group cheered.

"She'll be back any second." Kana says, quickly holding out her hand to the four wielders. "Hurry!"

Without hesitation, the four grabbed on and vanished before the other Kana flew back to where they once were. Sure, she was upset that they got away, but she couldn't help but laugh maniacally at the situation. "You got lucky this time, Kana!" They shouted. "When I find you again, I'll finish the job!"

Elfnein/Hibiki's Group's POVs:
The Final Battle with Carol Malus Dienheim

"The world's disintegration continues!" Sakuya reported.

"It's about to reach the city." Aoi added.

"This is the last stage of the plan..." Elfnein says, trying her best to stand, only to stumble back and fall as Hibiki's father caught her.

"You're badly injured!" He said. "You should rest!"

"Stopping Carol is my job..." She retorts. "I need to see it through to the end."

Meanwhile on the battlefield, the four wielders present watch on as the disintegration continues. "Why is an alchemist singing?" Chris asks aloud.

"...Seven planets and seven musical scales." Carol replied. "The harmony of the universe, alchemy's deepest secret, is the harmony of music and the absolute truth it creates."

"What do you mean?" Tsubasa asks.

"As they all come from the same source, there's nothing strange about it at all." Carol continued. "In the prehistoric era, after the Curse of Balal removed humanity's mutual understanding, they sought a new method. Alchemy is communication with the world, attaining harmony with it by knowing all. They tried to use it to go beyond words, to connect with the world."

"Songs..." Hibiki mutters.

"Both alchemy and songs were created to restore the lost unified language." Carol said.

"Impossible!" The four wielders shouted.

"Its origin is lost to history, but you four should easily be able to guess." Carol added, to which the four almost immediately knew who she was referring to: Finé.

Kana and co.'s POVs:
Château de Tiffauges

Teleporting away from the other Kana, the group took a moment to catch their breath after barely escaping with their lives. "Just who or what was that thing?" Serena asks aloud.

"I... I don't know." Kana replies. "But that last punch I landed was easily my weakest and somehow had the strongest effect."

"How is that possible dess?" Kirika asks.

"You're welcome..." A voice called out close to where the group was standing.

At first, the five wielders were surprised by the voice, but quickly found its source. "Dr. Ver?" Maria asks. "You saved us?"

"You can see the state I'm in. I didn't have enough blood left to take full control of the Château." He said. "Now then, I helped you, so now it's your turn to help me!"

With no real reason to turn down the Doctor's request (even if Kana had a few choice words due to past events), the five wielders follow Ver's directions to the throne room of the Château. "So this is the control system of the Château de Tiffauges?" Maria asks.

"If we destroy this, then that means..."

"How many generations behind are the processors in your heads?" Ver interrupted Serena in an insulting manner. "All that would do is send it out of control."

"Then what should we do?" Shirabe asks.

But before the doctor could give her an answer, a chime went off in the throne room, summoning a horde of Alca-Noise to stop the wielders and Ver. "While you stand here in a panic, try not to forget the world is falling apart around you!"

Hibiki's group/Kana's group's POVs:
The Final Battle with Carol Malus Dienheim/Château de Tiffauges

Just like the doctor said, the world was being disintegrated and the four wielders that were still on the ground were coming to this same realization. "Songs... Songs are destroying the world?" Hibiki asks in disbelief.

"Tokyo lies directly on the end point of the ley lines." Carol explained. "Which also means that I can use this place to send songs all throughout the world."

"That's why you destroyed the keystones, which were acting as safety values!" Tsubasa shouts in realization.

"Does that mean there's nothing we can do to stop this bullshit now?!" Kanade asks in frustration.

The four wielders started to lose hope of winning, until... "There's never nothing left!" Maria says over her communicator. "Even if 10,000 plans fail, there must be ten thousand and one. I'm more than certain of that!"

Meanwhile in the Château, the five wielders held off the Alca-Noise while protecting Dr. Ver. "We'll continue to hold them back!"

"Just do what you gotta do, and quick dess!" Kirika says, finishing Shirabe's sentence.

"I told you, I don't have enough blood to handle this in one shot!" Ver groaned. "You brats don't know the meaning of patience!"

As the doctor continued to complain through his pain, a magical screen appeared before him. "So you're still alive, Dr. Ver." Carol said, not exactly thrilled to see the Doctor. "Just what do you think you're doing?"

"I'm reprograming the Château." Ver answered. "At its core, alchemy is dismantling, analyzing, as well as one other thing."

Immediately, Carol knew what the Doctor was planning, and she was furious. "You're going to invert its functionality and restore the world." Carol said. "That's impossible. The Château won't be able to handle that! It'll absorb you all and..."

"Yep! Explode!" Ver interrupted, which shocked all of the wielders in the Château to hear. "Regardless, I can stop the disintegration. Damn, it's fun to screw with other people's plans!"

Finishing off the Alca-Noise closest to them, Maria and Kana both look towards the Doctor, surprised at his sudden selflessness, but irritated by the fact he's practically sacrificing all five of them with him. But as the two wielders were focused on him, the other three were sent flying backwards. "Finally caught up with you, coward." A familiar voice called out.

Knowing exactly who was talking to them, Maria and Kana looked over to see a grinning monster in a mimicked body. "You again..." Kana scoffed.

Meanwhile, after her conversation with Ver, Carol returned her attention to the four wielders still on the ground. "The disintegration of the world won't stop." She said. "I won't allow it!"

"We will! Just you watch!" Hibiki retorts, putting her hand on her pendant. "And we'll do it with Elfnein-chan's help!

"Stop!" Chris interjects.

"If we use the Ignite Module now, we could be playing right into her hands!" Tsubasa adds.

But as Hibiki made the same realization the others did, Carol didn't hesitate to attack, knocking them all away with Dur da Blá's harp strings as she formed an additional pair of wings on her armor to conduct even more energy. "I'll finish you all off. With everything I have!"

Back in the Château, Kana stares down her evil copy. "If it'll get you to shut up, I'll give you the fight you're after." Kana says in a serious tone.

However, this serious tone only makes the other Kana laugh. "If you're done screwing around, then let's cut to the fun part: your death!"

Ignite Module! Drawn Blade!

Without hesitation, the other Kana grabbed their pendant and activated her Ignite Module. However, much like a certain Airgetlám wielder's first time using it, "She's gone Berserk?!" Serena says.

Without a response, Kana charged at her Berserk copy. But, once her blade clashed with the monster, she was shocked to see not a berserk hand clashing with the blade, but that of the monster's copy of the Yato. Seeing the group's collective fear, the monster laughed as she fired several dragon shots at the wielders. "So that's who she is..." Kana sighs.

"What's wrong?" Maria asks.

"Days before Elfnein-chan gave everyone the Ignite Module, I had one recurring nightmare. A nightmare of my reflection killing everyone I know and love before going completely mad." Kana explains. "I thought it was an omen for myself using the Ignite Module. I was afraid I would never gain control and eventually go on to kill everyone I knew and loved, which explains why she's able to use the Yato despite being berserk: She's my deepest fears manifested, and now..."

"We're going to conquer your fears. Together!" Serena interjects, putting a hand on Kana's shoulder, much to the dragon princess' surprise.

"We're not going to let this faker taunt you any longer, Kana-sama!" Kirika adds.

"We'll help you face your fears, and get out before the Château explodes!" Shirabe adds.

"Girls..." Kana was touched that the F.I.S. trio and Serena had her back. "Then let's give this faker a taste of her own medicine!"

"What are you planning to do?" Maria asks.

Kana smirks as she goes to grab her pendant. "Something I've been wanting to do for a while." Kana grabbed the pendant and held it above her head, letting out a draconic roar as she was engulfed in a ball of light.

"Radiance Module! Awaken!"

(Road Taken (Roar) (Fire Emblem Warriors mix) begins to play)

The light starts to crack around Kana before eventually bursting off in all directions. Her black, grey, and white Yato Symphogear was altered into one that was silver, gold, and white in color with blue accents and a matching white and blue cape. "What is this?!" The berserk false Kana asked in a mix of anger and fear.

"The true power behind something you simply labeled a 'parlor trick.'" Kana says, mocking the evil clone for her earlier statement. "The Radiance Module!"

The berserk Kana scoffed. "'Radiance Module'? What a stupid name! You may have surprised me with that little light show, but you're not going to convi-" Before the berserk Kana could finish her sentence, Kana, in what felt like not even a second, delivered a punch to the berserk clone's stomach that sent her flying across the room.

Quickly, the berserk warrior got to her feet and was ready to charge at Kana. But when she went to look where her opponent struck, Kana was gone. "Convinced yet?" Kana asks, surprising the other Kana as she turned to see the radiant wielder crossing her arms and smirking.

This only served to anger the berserk faker more as she went to slash at Kana, who simply vanished as the strike was inches away from hitting her face and kicked the other Kana away again. As this was going on, Maria received a call from HQ. "Maria-san, can you give your communicator to Dr. Ver?" Elfnein asked. "I'll fight in the only way that I can!"

Putting her trust in Elfnein, Maria does as the injured alchemist asked. "Doctor!"

Ver caught the communicator and listened to what Elfnein had to say. "Connect this to the Château. I'll support you!" She said.

Without hesitation, the doctor obliged to Elfnein's request. "Sounds great! But can you handle this?"

Meanwhile

Back in S.O.N.G.'s HQ, Elfnein began the work required on her end, pulling up a familiar map. "I see... We'll use the photosphere." Ogawa realized.

"If we use the model data of the ley lines for the processing, we can work from here!" Aoi added.

"Fujitaka! Nastassja!" Genjuro shouted.

"Time to put my work to good use!" Nastassja replied as herself and Sakuya went to work themselves.

"We'll turn Carol's weapons against her!" Sakuya added.

"We'll handle the processing here, to reduce your workload." Elfnein says. "Please put all the Château's functionality you can control towards reconstruction."

Back with the wielders in the Château, Kana was giving the berserk copy a run for her money as they continued to clash blades and trade blows, mostly in the Radiance user's favor. "It's time for me to end this nightmare." Kana says to herself before turning to face the other present wielders. "I can handle this from here. You four go and help the others!"

"Don't get cocky!" The berserk Kana roared before being engulfed in a black light, emerging from it in a berserk variation of Kana's dragon form. "Die!"

The berserk Kana didn't allow any time for Kana to react, leaving her unable to warp away in time or ready her sword to block the incoming attack. With no other choice, Kana shields herself. As expected, a clash rang out, but Kana didn't feel any pain. Lowering her guard, she was greeted by the sight of the Zababa duo defending her. "Like we said..."

"We're going to help you overcome your fears, Kana-sama. Together dess!" Kirika says, finishing Shirabe's sentence.

As this happened, the two Airgetlám wielders let out a flurry of slashes that pushed the berserk Kana back. "Besides, what kind of sister would I be if I left you here by yourself?" Serena teases.

"You've done so much for all of us, Kana." Maria adds. "It's time we returned the favor."

Hearing all of their kind words, Kana couldn't help but shed tears of joy. "Thank you, all of you..." She says. "Ver, as much as it pains me to say it, we shall protect you, even at the cost of our lives. So..." Kana stops for a moment to gag at what she was about to say. "...So be the Hero you've always wanted to be and save the world!"

Ver relished in Kana's hesitant plea, but gladly continued his job as sparks started to fly all throughout the Château.

Back on the ground, these sudden sparks of electricity didn't go unnoticed by Carol, who became concerned that her plan was about to fall apart. "Stop... Stop getting in my way!" She pleaded. "STOP!"

Coming to terms with their inevitable fates, the five wielders fight the draconic monster with Kana stepping in every now and then to warp her allies out of the way of its attacks. "I loved taking the stage with you, Tsubasa, Kanade." Maria says to the wielders on the ground over comms. "If the opportunity ever presents itself again, I want to sing all night long."

Tsubasa immediately became concerned at what Maria's words implied. "Maria, what are you doing?"

"I may not have sang with you two on stage, but these last few years as your friend and your assistant manager have been the most fun I've ever had in my life." Serena adds.

Hearing Serena's words finally made the other wielders realize the same thing Tsubasa had. "And there's still many more years like it to come!" Kanade shouts. "It doesn't have to end like this!

"I always thought it was amazing how you befriended those you fought, Chris-senpai." Kirika says. "I always admired that about you."

"You can do it too!" Chris says. "You already have!"

"I'm sorry, Hibiki-san." Shirabe apologizes. "When we first met, I called you a hypocrite, despite not knowing anything about you. I know it would be better to apologize in person, but..."

"I don't care about that! Just..."

Hibiki's plea was cut off by the sound of the Château becoming increasingly unstable, but it was still stable enough for Kana to get in her last words. "Chris. I'm glad to have met someone like you." She says. "I hope, one day, we can meet again."

"Kana-"

"ENOUGH!" The berserk Kana shouted, her roar making it impossible for Kana to hear what Chris had to say. "It is your fate for you all to die at my hands! SO QUIT DELAYING THE INEVITABLE AND DIE ALREADY!"

"That's where you're wrong, faker!" Kana retorts as her hands and sword start glowing. "We decide our own paths in life. And ours..." In the blink of an eye, Kana knocks the berserk dragon into the air before summoning several portals in multiple directions around them. "Go straight through you!"

Readying her blade, Kana flies towards the monster and continues straight through one of the portals and emerging through one of the other portals to strike at her again. This process continued for several seconds, each strike becoming faster and faster with each time she flew through a portal until she flew through one that sent her flying downwards at the monster, in which case she delivered a slash that cut the false Kana in two.

But Kana wasn't done. Lastly, she summoned a portal on the floor in front of her and aimed a full-powered Dragon Shot at it. "This is where it ends!" She yells before firing the Dragon Shot through the portal, which shot out several Dragon Shots through all of the ones Kana traveled through, and erased the berserk dragon off the face of the planet.

Bifröst Blitz

With the false Kana defeated, Ver had nothing left to stop him from stopping Carol's plans, that is, except Carol herself. "Don't get in Papa's and my way!" Carol shouted. "STOP IT NOW!" With no other option, Carol blasts the Château with her strongest attack yet, piercing straight through the floating structure and causing a massive explosion.

Elfnein's/Hibiki and co.'s POVs:
S.O.N.G. HQ/The Final Battle with Carol Malus Dienheim

Following the Château's explosion, the air became quiet with only the sounds of the Château's broken chimes and the disintegration continuing through Japan... Until, suddenly, the destructive rays stopped moving forwards and instead returned to their origin at the Château's base, undoing their damage along the way. "The disintegrated areas are being restored." Sakuya reported.

While that was a relief for everyone, one matter still hung in their minds. "But Maria-san and the others..." Ogawa said with concern and sorrow in his voice.

"Kana... Serena..." Lilith muttered, fearing the worse for her niece and adoptive daughter's lives.

"Must we always make sacrifices to secure a brighter tomorrow?" Genjuro grumbled.

Meanwhile, on the battlefield, everyone watched on as the Château fell from the sky and implanted itself into the building below. "The Château... The task I was given..." Carol mumbled in shock, seeing her life's work, the work that was mere moments from being complete, reduced to a destroyed husk.

As for the wielders, their minds were on an entirely different loss from the Château's destruction. "No..." Kanade whispers as tears start to form in her eyes and her fists start to clench in an anger that she hasn't experienced in several years. "Not them too..."

"Everyone..." Hibiki says through stifled breaths.

"Why?!" Chris shouts, distraught at watching not only her friends and kouhai die, but also watching the one that loved her die before she could confess her feelings in return. "Goddammit!"

Enraged and saddened at the loss of her friends, Tsubasa stabs her sword into the ground before facing Carol. "Surrender at once!" She shouts. "The future you sought is now nothing but rubble and ruins!"

"Future?"

"Stop this..." Elfnein's voice pleads within Carol's mind. "Please, Carol. This isn't what our papa wanted." Hearing Elfnein say this, Carol grit her teeth as tears continued to flow. "When he told us to learn about the world, while he was burned at the stake, this isn't what he wanted us to do."

"I know that!" Carol shouted. "But then how am I supposed to avenge Papa? How else can I overcome this grief? He just left us with this problem, and never gave us the answer!"

"But..."

"I think your father wanted to tell you something important, didn't he?" Hibiki's father asked. "I think that when your life is about to end, you say the thing you want most to say."

Hearing this theory, Elfnein began to ponder it. "What did our father, an alchemist, want to tell us more than anything?" She thought aloud.

Made equally as curious by the question, Carol decided to make her presence known in the HQ with a holographic copy of herself. "It couldn't be anything more than the truth." She said.

"Alchemy's final goal is to communicate and be in harmony with the world, by knowing all things..." Elfnein states, which more or less gets the point across to Carol.

"Harmony?" Carol scoffed. "You want me to accept the world that rejected Papa? He didn't say that! He'd never say something so absurd!"

"Then I'll answer in his stead." Elfnein sternly retorts, which grabs Carol's full attention. "The answer to the problem is forgiveness. He wanted us to forgive the world for what it did to him." Hearing this answer, Carol's holographic clone dissipated. Once it did, immediately after, Elfnein started to cough up blood.

"Elfnein-chan!" Lilith shouted as she hurried to try and stabilize Elfnein's condition.

Carol thought about what had happened as well as what Elfnein said. "The Château de Tiffauges is destroyed, and with it, the future where I bring forth the Apocalypse of All Things is gone." Carol said aloud. "Then I shall abandon the past, and destroy the present!" Resolved, Carol faced the remaining wielders and started to glow a bright yellow, which concerned both the wielders and S.O.N.G. HQ.

"Don't do it!" Elfnein shouts. "If you burn up any more memories, you'll lose all the memories you have of Papa!"

"Does she truly intend to transmute all of her memories into combat power?!" Genjuro asked aloud, concerned for both the remaining wielders as well as what this could do to Carol in the long term.

Despite Elfnein's plea, Carol continued to conjure more and more power by burning more and more of her memories. "Carol-chan, why are you doing this?!" Hibiki asks.

"Revenge!" Carol simply stated before knocking all of the wielders away with a massive attack. "Revenge is all I have left..."

"Will the flames of her revenge continue to rage on until her memories are all gone?" Tsubasa asks aloud.

"She can't seriously be that desperate, can she?" Kanade adds.

"Not even Elfnein wants revenge..." Chris says.

"Yeah." Hibiki agrees as she goes to put her hand on her pendant. "We carry Elfnein-chan's hopes right here!"

"Ignite? Are you serious?" Chris asks, only receiving a deadly serious expression from Hibiki. "It's a hell of a risk."

"Given our current situation, I'm willing to take that risk." Kanade interjects.

"I couldn't have said it better myself, Kanade." Tsubasa adds.

"Elfnein-chan gave us this power." Hibiki says. "So I'm willing to put my faith in it!"

"Ignite Module! Double Drawn Blade!"

(Genkai Toppa G-beat (IGNITED arrangement) begins to play)

Together, the four wielders put their hands on their pendants and clicked them twice before undergoing the transformations into their Ignite forms. This time, however, their forms also had a white aura surrounding them that wasn't present before. Regardless, this boost in their power was able to allow them to be on par with Carol, however, their combined power didn't exactly overpower the alchemist either.

Meanwhile at HQ, Hibiki's father and Lilith are holding the now unconscious Elfnein as the rest of the HQ staff continue to monitor the battle. "Two of the Ignite Module's three safeties have been disabled in a row!" Sakuya reported.

"It's moved from Phase Nigredo to Albedo!" Aoi added.

Thanks to this second safety being disabled, the timer for how long the four wielders can handle the Ignite Module's power began to speed up. "The risk increases as the output does." Ogawa stated.

As for Carol, despite four Ignited wielders charging at her with their Phase Albedo forms, she's still able to effortlessly hold them all back with four individual barriers. "Raw power, huh?" She chuckled. "Very much like you. Cute, even." With that said, Carol waved her hand and sent Hibiki flying with a bigger barrier.

"I gotcha!" Kanade says, bringing Hibiki safely to the ground. "Now then, how the hell aren't we doin' shit to her?!"

"Yeah, we activated two of the Ignite Module's stages!" Chris adds in equal frustration.

Carol simply smirked at the wielders' dismay. "Now it's my turn to sing."

(Senkin Dur da Blá begins to play)

True to her word, Carol began to sing again, and with her song, the wind around her started to pick up alongside her aura. "Her output's gone up again?" Tsubasa asks.

"Just how much phonic gain does she have?!" Chris adds.

"But this is what I've been waiting for!" Unshaken by Carol's power increase, Hibiki puts her hand over her Ignited Pendant once more.

"Drawn Blade! All safeties, release!"

With the four wielders clicking their pendants one last time, the air around them and Carol started to explode with color and phonic gain, to a point that any civilians within visible range of their fight could easily be blown far away, or worse, killed. "It's shifted to Rubedo, the final phase!" Sakuya reported as he watched the seconds on the countdown diminish by the hundreds.

With their full powers on display, The wielders and Carol clash with massive waves of energy. "We'll overpower her with the Ignite Module's output..." Chris shouts.

"...And bring together this raging storm of phonic gain and release it!" Tsubasa adds.

"S2CA! Quad-burst!"

Despite their plan to counter Carol with her own power, the wielders soon find themselves being pushed back no matter how hard they try. "Why the hell ain't this working?!" Kanade asks.

"I know the Ignite Module's maximum output. Haven't you realized by now that's why I threw it away?" Carol said. "My songs have the combined power of seven billion Superb Songs' phonic gain!" With this said, Carol pushed more power into her attack, blasting the four wielders away. "Too easy."

As the dust settled, the four wielders were strewn about the rubble left behind from Carol's attack, battered, bruised, and, despite being in their Ignite forms still, fatigued beyond belief. Despite this, Hibiki was not going to give up. "Even if ten thousand plans fail, there have to be ten thousand and one..." She says as she shakily picks herself up from the rubble. She was going to continue the fight, even if the odds were against her. Even if only a miracle could save her.

Thankfully, a miracle came to her in the form of a song she was all too familiar with.

"Gatrandis babel ziggurat edenal"
"Emustolronzen Finé el balal zizzl"

As the dust further around the crater herself and the other wielders lay cleared away, Hibiki was met at the sight of five wielders who were thought to be dead, four of them in their Ignited forms and one in a form she had never seen before. "Maria-san! Kana!"

Flashback:
The Destroyed Château de Tiffauges

After Carol's attempt to stop the wielders and Ver from undoing the disintegration of all things by destroying the Château, the wielders were thankfully able to survive the structure's fall from the sky as well as the internal explosion thanks in part to Kana's quick thinking with what power she could manage after destroying her dark copy. However, due to the lack of power her form required, someone was unable to be saved in time.

"Dr. Ver!" Maria and Kana both gasp as they find his head and torso sticking out from the pile of rubble that crushed most of himself.

"Heh... Looks like I saved the world..." Ver chuckled before coughing up blood.

"No... You can't..."

"I saved you so you could tell the world about my heroic deeds..." Ver continued. The wielders were silent, still processing the fact that someone as selfish as Ver would be willing to sacrifice himself for the greater good. "Now get out of here and show the world that you were someone worth saving! Or are you still the same useless woman that you were back then?"

In that moment, with the last of his strength, Ver held out a chip in his hand. "What's that?" Kana asks.

"It's love."

"Why are you talking about 'love' now?" Maria asks.

"Miracles have nothing to do with Symphogear compatibility." Ver explained as his arm started to shake. "If you want to make that power your own, reach out and grab it." Doing as he asked, Maria took the chip from him before his arm fell to the floor. "Maria, tell me... Was I able to become a hero?"

"Yes." Maria says as she stood up and started to walk away. "The worst hero ever."

Seeing no reason to continue staying here, Kana too began to get up, but Ver wasn't done. "Kana-chan..." Ver said, catching the dragon princess' attention. "I wanted to thank you..."

"For what?" Kana asks.

"For being an interesting test subject." He chuckled as Kana scoffed. "...And for cheering me on in my final moment of glory as a hero."

Kana turned away from the Doctor before replying. "Ver, the entire time I knew you or knew of you, I thought of you as only a selfish bastard with no redeeming qualities." She bluntly says. "But even a broken clock can be right twice a day. You showed me that much."

Ver chuckled once more at that comment. "I'll take that as a compliment." Upon saying this, the Doctor took his final breath.

"...Farewell, Dr. Ver." Kana says as she hurried to join the others.

"Gatrandis babel ziggurat edenal"

Together, all 9 wielders performed their Superb Songs. However, Carol wasn't going to sit idly by and let it happen. "Don't think you can stop me!" She shouted as she fired another massive blast to finish off the wielders, but it was too late.

"Emustolronzen Finé el zizzl"

The nine wielders used their combined might to stand against Carol's blast, Hibiki, Maria, and Kana at the forefront of it all.

"S2CA Nona-Conversion!"

Hibiki shouts. "I'll use Gungnir to bring the phonic gain together!"

"I'll use Airgetlám to control and redistribute it!" Maria adds.

"And I shall do the same with Yato!" Kana shouts as she and Maria put their hands on Hibiki's back.

With the phonic gain the three wielders collected, Hibiki's gauntlets started to change as more and more phonic gain was gathered. At the same time, the ends of her scarf started glowing, before multiplying into nine separate scarf ends, each colored after each wielder present.

As she watched this unfold from HQ, Elfnein raised her hand towards the monitor as the Ignite clock quickly approached 0. "One final miracle..." She muttered, knowing exactly what Hibiki and the others were planning.

Unfortunately, Carol caught onto their plan a little too late. "No way. They're using the phonic gain I unleashed?"

Successfully collecting all of Carol's unleased phonic gain, Hibiki roared, prepared to complete their plan.

"Generator..."

"...X-DRIVE!"

Hibiki screams as she sends her fist skyward, letting out a massive rainbow-colored tornado that pierces the clouds, a sight of which greatly concerned Carol. "No... It can't be."

Once the tornado of phonic gain dissipated, nine glowing figures descended from the opening in the clouds: The wielders, all clad in the X-Drive Symphogears. As the sight of them filled Carol with fear, their presence filled Elfnein with hope.

"Those are... Miracles... In the flesh..."

A/N: And with that, we end the chapter.

Finally, several chapters later, the Radiance Module has debuted! And with it's debut, time for a summary of said form:

1. Advanced control over teleportation that is unlike what Kana in her normal Gear and Lilith are capable of (Example: multiple portals in a close to mid range as seen in Bifröst Blitz).

2. New brighter design in contrast to that of the Ignite Module's darker design. (Yes, Hoshido Noble was used as reference and Nohr Noble would've been used had I decided to give Kana Ignite.)

3. Unlike the Ignite Module, Radiance is not on a time limit and does not have multiple safeties. However, similar to the likes of Carol's Dur da Blá, Radiance requires a lot of energy to pull off its feats (Phonic gain, Magic, etc.).

4. Radiance has a less powerful form that doesn't require a full transformation as seen in the chapter to pull off feats as simple as basic teleportation. However, in this variation of Radiance, the user will not has access to the more powerful capabilities and will need to undergo the full transformation for said access.

And that about summarizes what the Radiance Module is. Anyways, thank you for reading this chapter. I shall see you all in the next one!
