A/N: As with the last three parts, I welcome you all to Part 4 of Superb Song of the Fate-Defying Valkyrie!

And of course, that being said, Disclaimer: It is strongly recommended that you watch up to Symphogear AXZ and either play or watch a playthrough of Fire Emblem: Fates: Revelations due to this story's events tying directly to their events with several changes. Lastly, I do not own Symphogear or Fire Emblem Fates. Those belong to Akifumi Kaneko and Intelligent Systems respectively.

That being said, I hope you all enjoy Part 4!

Part 4:
Through Many Tears, The Reality of Your Fate is Shown.
Chapter 1:
The Raid of Val Verde

Following the battles with Carol Malus Dienheim and her Autoscorers, the wielders went on to enjoy a well-earned summer vacation... Except for one unfortunate Hibiki Tachibana who also had to deal with summer school...

That aside, the wielders had plenty of fun during their summer. Chris and Kana finally confessed their feelings for one another and went on to become girlfriends (Albeit, not much has changed in terms of how they act around others, but they can all tell the Ichaival and Yato wielders are much happier now.), Tsubasa and Kanade returned to the stage as Zwei Wing with Ogawa and Serena as their managers, Maria would tag along with them all while doing some undercover work for S.O.N.G., and the Zababa duo were able to spend their first summer doing whatever they wanted, even if it was just enjoying one another's company.

However, those happy summer days were about to come to an end as another big mission reared its ugly head...

Kana and Chris' POV:
Lydian

Seeing that the four of them were hanging out together in the Astral Plane at the time, Chris, Kana, Kirika, and Shirabe were all notified of a sudden urgent mission from S.O.N.G. HQ and were tasked with retrieving Hibiki from Lydian and getting on a private jet ASAP. "You'd think with her friend being with her nearly all the time that the Idiot wouldn't need to go to summer school." Chris comments.

"You'd certainly think that." Kana agrees. "However, there's only so much Miku can do to keep Hibiki motivated towards homework."

"Have you tried helping her study, Kana-sama?" Kirika asked. "You're pretty smart as is, I'm sure you can help her too."

"That's how I know Miku can only help her so much, Kirika-chan, because I also tried to help her study." Kana answers.

"Did you ever consider having Lilith-san tutor her?" Shirabe suggested, which sent a chill up both Kana and Kirika's spines.

"Sh-Shirabe!" Kirika gasped.

"D-Don't get me wrong, Lilith's a great teacher and all..." Kana says. "But I'd be a horrible friend to subject her to Lilith's method of teaching..."

This took Kirika out of her shock from Shirabe's suggestion and angered her. "THEN WHY DID WE HAVE TO DEAL WITH IT DESS?!" She screamed.

"It was for the greater good, Kirika-chan!" Kana retorts. "My options were to either leave you with Lilith and confess my love or continue to hide how I feel and supervise you two."

"In my opinion, the better choice was chosen." Chris smugly adds. "And now, you two aren't stuck in summer school with the Idiot and Kana and I are happy. Or do you not like it when your senpais are happy?"

"No fair dess!" Kirika replied hesitantly. "Of course I'm happy that you and Kana-sama are happy, but that doesn't make it a usable excuse! Right, Shirabe?"

Shirabe wanted to agree with Kirika, but Kana and Chris were right. Thankfully, the pilot would come to her rescue. "We've arrived at Lydian Private Music Academy!" They said. "We have located Hibiki Tachibana!"

"About damn time!" Chris says, reaching for the helicopter door to see Hibiki embracing Miku in a hug, the latter of which is surprised to see the helicopter. "Get a room, you two!"

"HQ needs us, now!" Kana adds.

"What are you saying?" Hibiki yelled over the sound of the loud helicopter blades.

"Dess! Dess! Dess!" Kirika added.

"I can't hear you-" Hibiki said, before being decked in the face by one of Chris' shoes.

With that, Hibiki rushed outside, waving goodbye to Miku and entering the helicopter after it touched ground, returning Chris' shoe to her as they took off. "Sorry about that, Hibiki." Kana says.

"I'm not." Chris adds as she puts her shoe back on. "You should've gotten your ass outside as soon as we started shouting for you."

"But I couldn't hear you over the helicopter, Chris-chan!" Hibiki retorted. "And I still don't know entirely what's going on."

"Genjuro-san said he'd explain everything after we got you to HQ." Kana says. "You know how he is about leaving any of us out of a mission briefing."

"True... Master doesn't like to leave people out." Hibiki agreed. "But if he needs all of us, then I'm ready for whatever he needs from us!"

A few days later...

In another country, a military base picks up something strange on their radar following the explosion of several of their landmines. "Vehicle approaching at high speed!" one of the soldiers reported to their commander.

Despite this news, the captain seemed unfazed. "So, they decided to attack from land to avoid our AA guns, huh?" He said aloud. "But they're fools! Normal weapons are no match for us!"

On his command, several metal plates opened up, shooting out Alca-Noise crystals all over the jungle. Despite this, the vehicle continued towards them. "We have the approaching vehicle on the monitor!" The soldier reported.

"Don't tell me..." This time, seeing the vehicle was that of a blue motorcycle with two people on it, one of which was masked, the captain started to worry. "The attackers are... Symphogears?! Don't let them near the AA guns!"

The wielders' POVs:
Val Verde, South America

Seeing the soldiers and Alca-Noise scramble to protect the guns, Tsubasa and Kana continued driving forward. "Kamui!"

"On it!" Kana replies, jumping off the bike and quickly warping all around the battlefield, destroying Alca-Noise while immobilizing the human soldiers.

Dragon Flash

As Kana took care of the soldiers, Tsubasa continued towards the Anti-Air guns, leaping off of the ground and spinning her bike in a way that allowed the blades on the sides of it to slice through the guns with relative ease.

Flash of the Rider's Blade: Sweep

With the guns down, Tsubasa calls in reinforcements. "Ogawa-san!"

(Gekishō Infinity begins to play)

With her signal, Ogawa flew in on a kite with Hibiki and Chris, who jumped from it as soon as they were close and joined the fight alongside Kana and Tsubasa. Together, the wielders took out the Alca-Noise while Ogawa focused his efforts on immobilizing the soldiers that shot at them.

Eventually, the wielders dealt with the majority of the Alca-Noise and moved on to the human soldiers. As for how they dealt with them, Kana and Chris dealt with disarming the foot soldiers while Tsubasa and Hibiki destroyed the tanks, deflecting their fire in the process.

"34% of the enemy's forces have been disabled!" Sakuya reported.

"Watching that movie about fighting tanks last night seems to be effective." Aoi added.

"The UN forces are landing in 15 minutes!" Genjuro informed the wielders. "Disable the enemy's offensive capabilities before they arrive!"

As the fighting continued, one of the tanks were able to get their sights on Chris without being noticed. With this blind spot in their sights, they fired one of their missiles at her. Unfortunately, Chris was unable to see this missile coming before it was too late. Thankfully, someone else was able to.

Hibiki rushed between Chris and the missile and caught it right before it could hit her, using her Symphogear in order to slow the missile's momentum and hold herself in place. "Nice catch!" Chris compliments.

Wasting no time, Hibiki threw the missile back at the tank. "Chris-chan!"

"On it!" Chris replies as she aims one of her guns at the reflected missile and blew it up in the air, knocking the tank over from the shockwave.

"Our defensive line is collapsing! We're doomed!" A soldier said in a panicked tone to his captain, who swiftly left the tent and ran outside. "Captain, where are you going?!"

With the soldiers and Alca-Noise outside of the enemy base defeated, the wielders grouped up outside of the base. "That should be the last of them." Kana says. "At least, as far as outside of the base is concerned."

As she said this, a pillar of light emerged from the base. "What is that?" Chris asks.

The wielders ready their weapons as they watch the pillar of light pierce the clouds as a strange summoning glyph appears in the clouds. Seconds later, a battleship emerges from the clouds, shocking the wielders. "That thing's huge... and flying!" Hibiki shouts.

"So that's their main unit..." Chris adds.

Suddenly, three helicopters appear before the four wielders. "Get moving, you guys!" Maria says over the helicopter's speaker. "Follow them!"

"Helicopters, eh?" The captain says in the command center of the airship. "Then that means they're unable to dodge attacks from above!"

The captain presses a button that dropped five bombs on the helicopters, which explode the second they come into contact. "We did it! We got them all!" The captain cheered upon his successful attack... Or so he thought.

From the dust of the explosions, the three helicopters emerged unscathed alongside a fourth flying object, being that of Kana using Shadow Dragon Fang to lead the charge as the other wielders followed close behind atop the helicopters. "They blocked them with the Symphogears? And one of them can fly?!" The captain was shocked, but he wasn't ready to surrender. "If they want to fight us with crazy... Then we'll just have to counter with crazy!"

Suddenly, several compartments on the airship opened up as a massive barrage of missiles rained down upon the group. In response, Chris opened fire, destroying as many of the missiles as she could while the helicopters and Kana dodged to the best of their ability.

"Tachibana, leave the rearguard to Yukine!" Tsubasa says as she jumped off of the helicopter she was standing on and approached the airship by using the missiles as platforms.

Seeing this, Hibiki followed Tsubasa's lead, trying to keep up with her before the shockwave from the missiles' explosions threw her off balance and left her free-falling back to the ground... Or that would've been the case had Kana not grabbed her in time. "Figured you'd need a lift eventually." Kana teases.

Letting out a sigh as she hung onto Kana's hand, Hibiki looked at Kana and smirked. "Thanks, Kana!" She says. "Now let's get to that airship!" Kana nods as she begins to speed back towards the top of the airship alongside Tsubasa.

"Get the other helicopters out of here while we're holding them off!" Chris says over her communicator, causing the helicopters that Hibiki and Tsubasa were riding to fall back as she continued to destroy all of the missiles.

However, even with Chris making quick work of the missiles, some still managed to evade her fire and aim for the other two helicopters, one of which tried to hit it with all of their ammunition but was failing to hit the target. "We're not able to outrun it!" The pilot of said helicopter said in a panicked tone.

Thankfully, two of the people aboard his helicopter already knew how to save their bacon. "It's our turn, Kiri-chan!"

"Gotcha Dess!" Kirika says as she and Shirabe open the doors to the helicopter right in the nick of time for the missile to pass through without exploding and run right into the line of Chris' fire.

"I'm glad that worked!" Shirabe says with a sigh of relief.

"I knew we could pull it off!" Kirika adds.

As for Tsubasa, Hibiki, and Kana, the three of them managed to get above the airship. "Now, Tsubasa!" Kana shouts as she activates her Ame no Habakiri Augmentation to boost Tsubasa.

"I'll finish them off in one strike!" Tsubasa says as she raises her sword skyward, transforming it into a Heaven's Wrath nearly half of the size of the airship. Once it finished transforming, Tsubasa swung the sword down onto the ship, slicing in a way that revealed the airship's command center and the captain alongside it.

Seeing this, Kana changed to her augment of Hibiki's Gungnir and began to spin in place. "You're up, Hibiki!" She shouts before flinging Hibiki towards the Captain.

"Got it!" Hibiki replies as she flies towards the enemy Captain, landing right in front of him. Once she got her footing, Hibiki pulled her arm back as her gauntlet turned into a drill and lunged past the Captain, grabbing him as she drilled through the remains of the ship and fell into the river below.

Finally, once she saw that Hibiki was out of the ship, Kana caught Tsubasa and activated her augment of Ichaival as she descended. "Chris!"

"Way ahead of you!" Chris shouts as several missiles of her own manifest from her Gear and begin to open fire on the massive airship, lighting it up until nothing was left.

MEGADETH INFINITY

Once they were close to the water next to Hibiki, Kana let go of Tsubasa as she activated the blades on her heels to hover over the river's surface. "Tachibana, are you okay?" She asks.

"I'm fine!" Hibiki replies as she takes Kana's hand, the latter of which pulls her above the water with the Captain to be handed over to the authorities. "So, our mission's complete, huh?"

"Yeah." Tsubasa answers as she continues over to the rendezvous point with Kana following behind. "They can handle the rest." As she said this, many more UN helicopters arrived at the scene.

With the enemy forces neutralized, the UN was able to come in and take care of the civilians who were held prisoner. From a distance, Hibiki, Tsubasa, Chris, and Kana watched as the UN soldiers gave out food for the civilians and tended to their wounds. "Good... the UN was quick to respond." Hibiki says with a sigh of relief.

"Indeed." Tsubasa says.

"I couldn't have put it better myself, Hibiki." Kana adds, before noticing Chris was watching the UN's actions with an angry expression on her face. "Chris? Is everything alright?"

Hearing Kana's question, Chris snapped out of her trance and looked away from it. "Yeah... I'm fine." She says.

Kana knew something was on Chris' mind, but decided to not push any further. Thankfully, there wasn't going to be a long awkward pause for her to consider doing so as a jeep with the other wielders pulled up to them. "We're done patrolling the city!" Kirika announces.

"Get in. We're going to HQ." Maria says as Tsubasa enters the passenger seat of the truck.

"Gotta say though, that was some nice work you guys did back there." Kanade compliments the Zababa duo as Hibiki, Chris, and Kana get in the back with her and said duo. "And then there's that badass move you two pulled off in the other helicopter!"

Kirika and Shirabe blush at the compliment. "Thanks, Kanade-san!" Kirika replies as Maria starts to drive.

As the wielders drive back to S.O.N.G. HQ, they reflect on the situation they currently found themselves in. "The Alca-Noise that caused us so much pain... The fragments of Alchemy... I can't believe that they're being used by military juntas as weapons." Shirabe says.

Hearing this, Hibiki looks at the destroyed buildings surrounding them and couldn't help but wonder if their destruction was also the work of these weaponized Alca-Noise. "The Bavarian Illuminati..."

Flashback:
S.O.N.G. HQ

Once Hibiki and co. arrived at HQ, the five wielders rushed into the command center to hear what Genjuro and the other S.O.N.G. staff members had to say. "Sorry we're late!" Hibiki said.

"Everyone's here?" Genjuro asked as he turned to see who was with Hibiki. "Good. Then let's get right to the briefing."

As he said this, a screen appeared on the monitor in the command center with Ogawa and the other four wielders who were currently overseas. "Senpai?"

"Maria, did something happen over there?" Shirabe asked.

"I received a special assignment from Tsubasa's father." Maria explained over the call. "So, as a S.O.N.G. agent, I-"

"Hold up! THAT'S what you were doing this entire time?" Kanade interjected, honestly surprised by this information. "That explains why you were always wearing those fancy suits when we'd see you every now and then!"

"...As I was saying!" Maria continued, ignoring Kanade's realization. "I was looking into the background of the Magical Girl incident."

"As Kanade basically said, we weren't told anything." Tsubasa added. "I honestly thought Maria was just lonely and followed us to England."

"You know that's ridiculous!" Maria interrupted in a flustered retort.

"I figured you just wanted to spend more time with me to make up for the time we were unable to spend growing up." Serena interjected.

"Well... I did want to do that too... but..."

"Maria-san's investigation gave us the name of a certain organization." Ogawa explained in an attempt to save Maria any more embarrassment from the Zwei Wing duo and their assistant manager. "They're known as The 'Bavarian Illuminati.'"

"They seem to be the ones responsible for building the Château de Tiffauges and supporting Carol." Elfnein added. "They've been a powerful, secretive force throughout history, and the reason that some call modern day Europe the 'Dark Continent.'" As she said this, Elfnein pulled up various images of destruction throughout the world caused by this organization, with the last image being what seemed to be their insignia.

"I've seen that mark!" Kirika gasped.

"Isn't that...?"

"Yes." Maria answered for Shirabe. "The mysterious organization that worked with Mom and the Doctor to arm the FIS. They're at the bottom of the darkness that we still confront today."

"To think the ones responsible for arming us were also responsible for arming Carol Malus Dienheim..." Nastassja said. "The Bavarian Illuminati..."

"We may be able to use this to find new information about the Illuminati." Elfnein said.

"We've seen hints of them, but never found anything definitive." Ogawa stated. "However, when our investigators followed up on Maria-san's lead..." Ogawa sent over an image of a city under attack by an all too familiar foe.

"Alca-Noise?!" Hibiki gasped.

"This was taken in a politically-unstable South American country run by a military junta." Ogawa continued as he showed another image with several portraits of what looked to be the country's leader, a face one of the wielders could recognize instantly.

"VAL VERDE?!" Chris shouted in shock, which mostly got the attention of Hibiki and Kana.

"I want the Symphogear Wielders to get to work as soon as they arrive on the scene." Genjuro said. "We're going to be busy!"

S.O.N.G. HQ

Once they returned to base, the wielders all took showers together. Zwei Wing and the Cadenzavna Eve sisters discussed how much they were allowed to be involved in the raid against Val Verde's military while Hibiki told the Zababa duo how they were still very useful to S.O.N.G. even if they were extremely limited on their LiNKER dosages, accidentally leaving Kirika in an awkward position as Shirabe gave her a disapproving staredown.

However, Kana's thoughts were still on Chris' strange behavior around the liberated city earlier that day.

"Chris?" Kana asks, causing Chris to jolt in surprise upon hearing Kana's voice, inadvertently startling Kana as well. "Sorry! I shouldn't have startled you like that."

"...It's okay." Chris says after a brief pause. "What do you want?"

"I just wanted to check if you were doing okay. You seemed a bit out of it when we were watching the UN help the civilians." Kana says, receiving a downcast expression from Chris. "Is there something on your mind you want to talk about?"

"...No." Chris replies hesitantly. "Not now..."

Before anything else, Kana looked to make sure everyone else was distracted in their own conversations before giving Chris a hug from behind. "That's okay." Kana whispers. "But if you ever need to talk to someone about it or anything else that's bothering you, know that I'll always listen to whatever you need to say."

"...I'll be sure to remember that..." Chris whispers in return. "...Thank you..."

Hearing that, Kana lets go of Chris and heads over to dry off. "I'll wait for you outside."

"I'll be out in a bit." Chris replies, before her memories resurfaced once again...

"Mom! Dad! Let go of me, Sonya!"

"No, it's dangerous!"

"Damn it!" Chris said to herself. "Why do these goddamn memories keep invading my mind?!"

Later that night, the wielders gathered in the command center for their next mission. "A new base has been located." Genjuro said. "Here are the details of your mission: Your target is a plant that manufactures chemical weapons. We'll go upriver and attack the military base there. Shut it down while minimizing damage to the surrounding area."

"Roger!" The wielders reply in unison.

Val Verde

With their mission briefed, Hibiki, Tsubasa, Serena, Kana, and Chris take a boat with Ogawa to their destination. During the trip, however, Chris' memories resurface once again...

Flashback:
Val Verde

"Mom! Dad!" A much younger Chris Yukine screamed as she tried to run to her parents, whose lifeless bodies were surrounded by rubble and fire. At the same time, someone was holding Chris back from getting herself hurt. "Let go of me, Sonya!"

"No, it's dangerous!" The woman named Sonya replied.

"This is all your fault, Sonya!" Chris quickly yelled at the woman in a fit of anger, which made Sonya start to cry.

"Remembering the past?" Tsubasa asks, startling Chris out of her thoughts.

"Yeah. It was a long time ago, though. Don't worry about it." Chris replies, trying to act like nothing was wrong.

"I won't ask questions, but focus on the here and now." Tsubasa says. "Otherwise-"

Suddenly, a bright flash of light emerges from the trees followed by gunfire. "Commence operation." Ogawa said as he did his best to avoid the oncoming gunfire.

"I'll charge first!" Hibiki shouts as she grabs ahold of her Symphogear pendant and leapt from the boat.

"Balwisyall nescell Gungnir tron"

(Makenai Ai ga Koko ni Aru begins to play)

Once her transformation was complete, Hibiki used her thrusters on her Gear and knocked out the truck that was shooting at them, which also set off the security alarms at the base they were attacking, causing the base to respond with Alca-Noise and soldiers at the ready.

However, the other four wielders alongside Hibiki were quick to join the fray with Serena and Tsubasa focusing on disarming the soldiers while Kana and Chris took care of the Alca-Noise as Hibiki helped escort the civilians to safety while also dealing with the Alca-Noise.

"Our forces are losing?!" The man in charge of the facility gasped as he watched the fight unfold from the camera footage. "Fine then, I'll just send them to hell along with me!" Saying this, the man picked up a trinket on his desk and clicked it.

Outside, suddenly, a giant Alca-Noise was summoned over the base. "He sent out the big one?!" One of the enemy soldiers gasped.

"So much for having a plan!" Another soldier said, before running away from the smaller Alca-Noise the big one spawned from their hands.

However, despite their attempts to flee, the soldiers soon found themselves being attacked by the newly spawned Alca-Noise and killed en masse, something the wielders were keen to notice immediately. "They're attacking indiscriminately." Tsubasa says, alerting the other wielders.

"They don't care who they kill?!" Chris replies as she was already working on dealing with the newly spawned giant Alca-Noise by firing a giant arrow from a giant bow at the Alca-Noise that went inside of it before exploding and turning them into a glowing red pincushion.

ARTHEMIS CAPTURE

Without hesitation, Tsubasa noticed the opening and charged at the Alca-Noise with two blades that she set ablaze and slashed the hulking Alca-Noise into pieces with a Soaring Phoenix's Slash.

Once the dust from the giant Alca-Noise's destruction dissipated, the soldiers were quick to notice something else in the sky. "Hey, Look! If that thing hits the plant, it'll contaminate the whole area!" One of the soldiers said.

Overhearing the soldier, Kana was quick to react to the situation. "I won't let that happen!" She says as she flies over the building the Alca-Noise was aiming for while charging up one of her strongest Dragon Shots possible in her hands. Once she reached the building, Kana put all of her effort into charging her attack to stop the Alca-Noise.

After Kana saw the Alca-Noise begin its descent onto the building, she brought her hands forward and unleashed her strongest Dragon Shot she's ever done, letting out a beam of energy that eradicated the Alca-Noise completely.

Dragon Wave

Once the last of the beam dissipated, Kana's Gear reverted its transformation as she fell onto her back on the rooftop, completely exhausted by the attack. "Guess I... Overdid it, huh?" Kana chuckles over her communicator.

"You've been spending too much time with the Idiot's anime-obsessed friend, haven't you?" Chris asks, landing on the roof Kana was on and helping her to her feet.

"She's been begging me to try that move ever since she found out about my Symphogear." Kana replies. "In her defense, I can see why she thought it'd be cool."

"Yeah, yeah." Chris scoffs. "Let's just hurry and meet up with the others, you weeb."

Meanwhile

As the wielders and S.O.N.G. have been liberating Val Verde with the UN, its leader and his men have been discussing how to deal with their attackers from within an empty opera house. "El Presidente, we've sent a dummy plane to Escalon Airport, just to be safe." One of the generals reported to the leader.

"That is unnecessary." The President replied. "As long as that exiled regime's Dyciphine Barrier stands, this is the safest place in the entire country."

"So, in other words... What you really want to protect is hidden here." A woman asked as herself and two others appeared in the open windows of the opera house.

"Who are you?" The President asked.

"We couldn't find it in your major military facilities." A woman with long white hair wearing a white lab coat over her clothes said.

"Our plan to bring S.O.N.G. here to reveal your secret garden worked well." A shorter woman with brown hair and a frog-shaped sack added.

"You panicked and led us straight here." A third woman with long blue hair and a black dress taunted. "Aren't you just the nicest, El Presidente?"

"Saint-Germain! Prelati! Cagliostro!" The President gasped upon realizing who he was speaking to.

"Since you're already here, we have one final job for you." Prelati said before herself and the other two women started to sing.

(Ewigkeit (Shitō -Ewigkeit-) begins to play)

"Who are they?" One of the generals asked the President.

"Alchemists sent by the Bavarian Illuminati!" The President said.

"The ones that provided the heretical technology!" The general realized.

"They said they would leave those who bore their mark alone!" The President stated as he pointed to the insignia on his suit. "The UN's at our doorstep! Get rid of them!" He pleaded with the alchemists.

However, the President and everyone else in the room that bore the insignia would soon find themselves reduced to nothing but particles of light before all of the particles fused together into a ball of light in Saint-Germain's hand. "73,788..."

Sakuya and Aoi's POVs:
Val Verde: Opera House

"Our agents were right... The area around this opera house can't be viewed by satellite." Sakuya says to himself as he reviewed both the information S.O.N.G. and the UN had gathered as well as the footage they were able to collect from within the opera house. "Is this barrier-like thing jamming all signals? We managed to sneak in here while they were distracted by the attack at the plant, but I didn't expect this place to be a sort of base of operations..."

Aoi, Sakuya, and a couple of other agents used the wielders' attack on the chemical plant to sneak into the opera house originally to apprehend the President, but with the arrival of the Alchemists, things have become a bit more complicated. As such, Aoi kept watch of what the Alchemists were doing, seeing them open a secret hatch within the main theatre. Once they were out of sight, Aoi signaled to the other agents to move in, Sakuya being the only one of the group who wasn't prepared for the sudden advancement.

Meanwhile at the Plant

With the enemy forces defeated, the wielders searched for the commander throughout the facility. "Looks like the commander fled." Tsubasa states.

"Great..." Serena sighs. "We need to alert HQ immediately. The more people we have searching for them, the better."

Tsubasa nods in agreement with Serena, before Hibiki, Chris, Kana, and a boy enter the office Serena and Tsubasa searched. "Tsubasa-san, Serena-san, you need to hear this." Hibiki says.

"I saw the factory chief fleeing in a car!" The boy said. "They may be hiding in the village up ahead."

"And you are?" Tsubasa asks.

"My name's Stephan." Stephan said. "We were brought from our villages to this plant against our will."

"Let's catch them before things get even uglier." Chris adds, the other wielders agreeing with her as they hurried to the next village to find the factory chief Stephan saw.

Back at the Opera house, the agents followed the Alchemists into the hatch they opened, entering a small storage area. Aoi and the other agents were able to observe the Alchemists from behind the shelves while Sakuya waited at the top of the staircase, watching from a safer distance. They watched as the Alchemists pulled the tarp off of a mysterious stone which had a doll with a strange mask over its face, unfortunately, as the Alchemists were about to free the doll, Sakuya's laptop completed its scan and let out a loud alert, surprising everyone present in the storage room.

"Everyone retreat!" Aoi orders as they open fire on the Alchemists and flee up the stairs while they block all of the agents' shots.

Quickly, the agents got into their trucks and rushed back to HQ. "Contact HQ! We need backup from the wielders!" Aoi says to Sakuya.

"Don't have to tell me twice!" Sakuya replies, already trying to contact HQ.

"Let's just hope we can create enough distance between us and those Alchemists befo-" Suddenly, the ground behind the agents erupts as a giant serpent-like creature with eyes all along its sides emerges. "What is that?" Aoi asks aloud.

"HQ! Please respond, HQ!" Sakuya shouts over his communicator as the Serpent destroys one of the two trucks following Aoi and Sakuya's.

"Tomosato-san! Fujitaka-san!" Elfnein responded.

"The Symphogear Wielders are on a mission." Genjuro informed the agents. "Lost that thing, even if it kills you!"

"I can't lose it if it kills me!" Sakuya retorts, watching as the Serpent draws closer and closer to their truck. "We can't outrun it! We're dead!"

At that moment, Aoi pulls on the brakes, slowing the vehicle enough to avoid being crushed by the serpent as it goes over the cliff. "We avoided it!" Sakuya cheers... Before the Serpent suddenly emerges from the ground beneath them, flinging the truck upside down.

Thankfully unharmed, Aoi and Sakuya crawl out of the truck and take cover away from the Serpent. "You'll bring the number to 73,794." Saint-Germain stated, looking down on them from higher ground. "Your lives will be the building blocks of the world revolution."

With their options for surviving a giant Serpent and three Alchemists dwindling, Aoi and Sakuya begin to fear the worst, until a familiar song fills the air...

A/N: And with that, we end this chapter!

Between what I have planned for Kana and Chris, Kana's visions, and the rest of the wielders' shenanigans, I'm really excited for what I plan to bring to you all with this part (as well as part 5, but let's focus on one part at a time, right? :))

That being said, I have a quick update on my upload schedule that I mentioned over at my other fanfic:

Instead of being every 2 weeks per chapter of each fanfic, I'm going to be pushing it back to every 3 weeks.

As I said on the other fic, I can still manage to make these chapters within 2 weeks, but I would also like to give myself some time to work on other types of content between working on chapters.

Rest assured, I still plan to continue making chapters that I hope you all continue to enjoy.

That being said, thank you all for reading this chapter. I shall see you all in the next one!
