Episode 3: Aunt Eda and Little Roy
One afternoon, everyone of I.M.P is having a day off, and thanks to Blitz's suggestion, they are having lunch in Amara's apartment. Not that Amara minds, but it's rather small and doesn't have much space for them to sleep or anything. Now the group is having pizza in the living room, even though Amara doesn't have a television in the apartment.
"Fuck, you don't have a television in this place?" Blitz asks, bored and eating the pizza.
"Blitz, I'm still trying to focus on paying the bill and groceries, and I don't think too much about getting a T.V," Amara says.
"Let's not forget that you decided to sleep in a sleeping bag. You should at least get a bed or something," Loona says.
Amara sighs, "I know, but I've been busy trying to earn money and paying the rent, groceries, and other needs. Well, I guess, I don't think too much about it. Besides, I've only been living here for almost two months and I've started working with you guys a few weeks ago."
"That's true, but still, I think it can use some more stuff. Like you can use a furniture or two, and even a T.V," Millie says.
Then Blitz says, "And I think you should go get a phone."
"Hmm," Amara replies, thinking.
Then says, "I've been thinking of getting one for some time. It will be useful to have one. And there's no need to worry about getting furniture, I'm already having some brought here."
"What do you mean?" Blitz asks, confused.
Suddenly, they hear the doorbell of the apartment rings.
"Who the fuck could that be?" Blitz asks.
"That is the answer to your question," Amara says.
She then walks towards the door and opens it to see a female Imp around Blitz's height, but she's a candy apple red female imp with really long white messy hair, yellow eyes, and short black and white striped horns.. She is wearing a black tank top with jean shorts, and black boots.
"Howdy Mar Mar, finally made it," The Imp happily says.
Seeing her makes Amara very happy, "Aunt Eda!"
Amara and the Imp, Eda hug each other with glee and are glad to see each other.
"How are things doing at I.M.P City? Hope you're doing okay here?" The Imp, Eda asks with a grin.
"Doing fine. How are things going at home?" Amara replies.
"Doing okay, except for a fire Tornado cost me a farm hand a few days ago," Eda says.
"That's rough," Amara replies.
"Don't sweat that. Anyway, brought a little someone with me, and he practically begged me to come," Eda says.
Suddenly, a voice of a small boy shouts, "Amara!"
"Roy!" Amara happily says.
Just then, a small Imp jumps on Amara, causing her to fall to the ground. The young Imp boy, around seven years old. The boy is crimson red with white freckles on his face. Yellow eyes and black pupils. He also has shaggy short dark color hair with a pair of spiral black and white striped horns. He is also wearing a black cowboy hat, with a green collar, rolled up sleeve shirt, with a dark brown vest, around his neck is a black neck tie with a clip on it. He also wears black pants with a brown belt and it has a rope attached to it as well. He is also wearing brown pants and black and red boots.
The two begin laughing as they hug each other with glee.
Eda chuckles and says, "Easy kid, you don't want to crush your sister."
"Don't worry, I don't mind. I'm glad to see you guys again," Amara says, and ruffles the young Imp's hair.
"Glad to see you too," Eda says.
Then points to the door with her thumb, "We got some furniture from the house and brought them over. Plus, since you told me you found a job, other than the performance you do, I just thought I should see the boss and employees you're with."
"Hey kid," Blitz calls out.
Amara, Eda, and Roy turn to see Blitz and the others.
"So, aren't you going to introduce us to whoever this bitch is?" Blitz asks.
"Watch it, clown!" Eda sternly says.
"Hey!" Blitz shouts, feeling offended.
Amara calmly says, "Eda, it's okay. This is my boss, Blitz."
"Oh, so you're the boss?" Eda asks.
"That's right. I'm Blitz, the 'O' is silent," Blitz says.
"Howdy. I'm Eda, Amara's aunt," Eda says.
"Her aunt?" Millie asks.
"That's right. Amara, Roy and I came from the Wrath Ring and we're proud of it," Eda says.
"Wow. My husband and I are from the Wrath Ring too. I'm Millie, and this is my husband, Moxxie," Millie happily says.
Moxxie walks over, "Hello."
"A pleasure to meet you, And who is this sweet furry Hellhound. She looks vicious," Eda says, noticing Loona.
Loona growls in reply, not like being called sweet and furry.
"That's Loona, she's well, Blitz's adopted daughter, and she's the receptionist at the office," Amara says.
The turns to Loona, "Say hi, Loona."
"Hi," Loona says, annoyed and playing on her phone.
"She seems interesting," Eda says, arching an eyebrow.
"Yeah," Amara replies.
Then shows the group the little Imp, "And before I forget, this is my little brother, Roy."
"Hi," Roy says.
"Awww! He is so cute! He looks cuter than a little Hell Piglet." Millie happily says.
"I didn't know you had a brother," Blitz replies.
"I sure do. He's my little brother," Amara says, and ruffles Roy's hair.
Just then, Eda says, "Well then, since we're here, we can start moving your furniture to the house and get Roy's things."
"Roy's things?" Millie says, confused.
Amara blushes a bit, and says, "Yeah. My little brother is actually going to stay with me. It's a bit of a long story."
"It's a long story alright, but how about we start getting everything in the apartment?" Eda says.
"Okay," Amara and Roy reply.
With that, the I.M.P Crew begin to help Amara and Roy gather their furniture and Roy's things in the apartment. Luckily, they don't have too much stuff to move. Just a desk, small draws, a lamp, a phone, and Roy's belongings. Loona mostly sits on the couch, supervising and playing with her phone. After they're done, the group is standing to see the work they've done.
"There we go. That didn't take too long at all," Eda says.
"Yeah," Roy says, holding a stuffed black horse with a pink clover on its nose.
Amara chuckles, "I see you decided to bring Lucky with you."
"I could say the same about Hooty," Eda says, holding the stuffed owl.
Amara then snatches the toy owl and says, "So. I like Hooty. Besides, you made him for me."
"Aww, ain't that the cute little horse," Blitz says, admiring Roy's toy.
"Thanks. My Aunt Eda made her for me. I call her lucky cause the clover on her nose," Roy says.
"Aww, ain't that just adorable," Millie happily says.
"Yeah, but you still need a T.V," Blitz says.
Amara sighs, "Seriously."
"Well, since we're done putting the furniture in here, we might as well add some personal needs," Eda says.
Then make a smirk on her face, "Like say, a few dresses and skirts."
"Aunt Eda!" Amara screams, her cheeks are turning red.
"Come on Amara, you should try to be a little more feminine. I understand that you like to wear clothes that's makes you rough and tough, and a little concerned about your robotic limbs, but you should get yourself some more, feminine items. Like some cute clothes, dresses, and such," Eda says.
"You know I have problems wearing dresses," Amara says, annoyed..
"What's this about you having trouble with dresses?" Blitz asks.
Eda chuckles and says, "Yeah. Amara hasn't worn dresses and skirts since she was like seven years old, and can't stand being forced to wear one at this age."
Amara groans as she covers her face that feels burning red.
"Come on Amara, it won't be so bad. Besides, I think it will be kind of fun," Mllie says.
"If you're sure," Amara softly says.
"Yeah. Besides, wearing a skirt or not, you'll still be your tough and sturdy cybernetic bitch we know," Blitz says.
"Geeze, thanks for the support," Amara replies, sarcastically.
And so, the I.M.P Crew are in the company van and going to get some stuff for Amara and Roy's home and to get some things for Amara. Soon, they are in the shopping mall, which is a two floor building with different stores for clothes, appliances, food, and other needs.
"Now then, let's go do some shopping!" Eda happily says and drags the kids to one of the stores.
"She sure is energetic," Blitz says.
"I like her," Millie happily says.
"We better go follow them," Moxxie says.
With that, the group follows Eda, Amara, and Roy to one of the stores. Amara and Roy look around to see some of the clothes. Since Amara is an Owl demon and has a robotic arm and legs, they have to go to a specific section of the store.
"So, remind me why we need to look for clothes for me?" Amara asks.
"Cause you should try to dress up more like a girl. I mean, your friend, Madison, told you that a few times," Eda explains.
She sighs and continues, "Yet, you refuse. Besides, how many times does a lot of Imps ask if you're a boy and yet to find out you're actually a girl."
Amara grits her beak in anger to be reminded of it. Truth be told, cause she likes to wear pants and shirts more than dresses and skirts, and wears her hat, a lot of demons think she's a boy at first glance.
Blitz looks at Amara curiously, "Now that you mention it, if you hadn't told me your name, I would have assumed you were a boy myself."
"You too?!" Amara exclaims, embarrassed.
"There's your verdict," Eda says in remark.
Amara sighs and says, "Fine fine. I should try to get demons to see that I'm actually a girl and not a boy. And that I should get in touch with my uh, feminine side."
"You damn right you should. Come on, you'll love it," Eda says.
With that, the group, mainly Millie and Eda, are helping Amara get some new clothes, mainly more fenimine. The two women gather up different clothes they think will look good, even some skirts, dresses, and even some accessories. As for the boys, they are rather bored because the girls are shopping. Loona actually decides to leave and do her own thing. After gathering the stuff, Eda and Millie have Amara in the fitting room to try out some of the clothes.
"Alright, let's try outfit one," Eda says.
"Alright," Amara says, sounding flustered.
Amara walks out of the fitting room to see she is wearing a long dark blue dress with an ivory blouse, it also has light blue frills close to the sleeves. Amara's feathers are let down, and is wearing a white star hair clip instead.
"Aww, you look so cute," Millie says.
"Beautiful, more like it," Eda says.
Amara then looks at herself in the mirror and her cheeks flushes.
"Um thanks. I actually kind of like it," Amara says.
"Knew you would. Just listen to Auntie Eda and you'll be gorgeous," Eda says.
The next outfit Amara wears, she is wearing black slack pants with a brown belt around her waist, and a black suit jacket. She is also wearing a red vest and a white shirt under it. Her feathers are tied in a down ponytail.
"You look great sis," Roy says.
"That suit actually suits you," Moxxie replies.
"You look amazing," Millie happily says.
"Thanks. I'm actually more comfortable wearing this," Amara says.
"And we're not done there," Eda says.
Then Amara looks at her robotic arm, "Kind of wish, there's a way to accessorize this, but I don't want my limbs to look weird."
"I think they're fine the way it is," Eda says.
"I have to agree," Millie says.
With that, Eda and Millie have Amara try on different clothes and accessories. Even though she ends up liking some of the skirts, she doesn't feel comfortable wearing dresses. However, there's at least one or two of then she likes. At the end of the shopping, Amara ends up with some pants, shirts, blouses, skirts, jackets, and other clothes, and at least two dresses for herself.
Soon, the group leaves the store.
"Now then, I think it's about time we get Amara a phone of her own," Blitz says.
"Um sure," Amara says.
Their next destination is an electronic store. Amara and Roy are amazed to see so many different technologies like hellphones, hellpads, hellpods, hellwatches, and all kinds of electronics they haven't seen.
"Wow. There are so many," Amara says.
"It's so cool. Can I get a phone too?" Roy asks.
"I think I have enough for both of us to get one. Since you'll be living with me, I think it will be a good idea to get you one," Amara says.
She then turns to Blitz, "So, which would you recommend?"
"Well, I suggest you get the Hellphone I got. I need to get a new one anyway," Blitz says.
"Huh? But didn't you get a new phone three days ago?" Amara asks.
"I did. Until, that weird bird fetashitz made me break it," Blitz says.
"Again?" Amara asks, confused.
"So, which one do you want?" blitz asks.
Amara looks at the phone that has somewhat different designs on it. One of them catches her attention. It has a dark blue sky with small white stars and a bright yellow moon in the middle.
She points to it and says, "I'll take that one."
"I like that one," Roy says.
"Which one?" Amara asks.
"The one with the lasso on it," Roy answers.
Amara notices a red Hellphone that has a lasso on it.
"Sure. You could use one. That way you can talk to your sister when she's at work," Eda says.
"Right," Amara replies.
After buying the phones, and buying other needs like stuff for Amara and Roy, the group is having dinner at the Food Court. Roy is playing at a small play center in the middle of the food court.
"I actually had a good time," Amara says.
Then turns to see Roy playing, "And Roy seems to have a good time too."
"Glad to see you two are able to live together," Millie says.
"Yeah. I'm going to miss having them around, but Amara is seventeen so she'll have to leave the nest sooner or later," Eda says.
"So, I actually heard that you've lived in the Wrath Ring. Is that true?" Blitz asks.
"It's true. I lived at the Wrath Ring. You can tell because of my clothes," Amara says.
"That explains the kind of weapons you use," Blitz says.
"Yeah. When I turned seventeen, I decided to help earn some money for my family, and begin to have work experience outside of home," Amara answers.
Moxxie then turns to Amara and asks, "If you don't mind me asking, what do your parents think of you both living away from home?
Amara sadly sighs and says, "Actually, my parents passed away when I was eleven years old. That was six years ago."
That makes the group concerned.
"What happened?" Moxxie asks.
Amara lowers her head and has deep sadness on her face. Eda then hugs Amara to reassure her.
"It's okay sweetie, I understand it's still hard for you, especially about what happened during that time. But you've become stronger since then, so I'm glad you're willing to move on since then," Eda says.
Amara sadly nods her head, and has a small smile.
She then turns to the others and explain, "My parents were brutally murdered by a demon gang. My parents were able to hide us in a room we had up stairs, but well, a fire broke out and I'm afraid I can't really remember what happened after that. Unfortunately, I didn't get away without any reminders." And looks at her robotic arm and her legs.
The group becomes shocked and it doesn't take long for the pieces to be put together. Amara has the robotic limbs because she has lost her original limbs during the incident.
"That's fuckin messed up," Blitz says, shocked.
"I know. Regretfully, I don't remember who did it. I think that I must have hit my head pretty hard during the fire. And well, some scars are deep and hard for me to talk about with others. I wanted to tell you after I feel comfortable with you, especially since Millie and Moxxie used to live in the Wrath Ring themselves," Amara says.
"What happened after that?" Moxie asks.
"After what happened, they were taken to a medical clinic to be examined. A friend of the family was able to help with any injuries they had. Once they were healed of any physical or mental injuries, I took them in and raised them myself. They're my favorite niece and nephew, and their father, my older brother, Jake, my favorite brother, so I was happy to take them in. I raised Amara and Roy myself and they love their favorite aunt," Eda says.
Amara then hugs Eda, "And I love you, Eda."
"Aww, that's sweet," Millie says, happily.
"Okay. This is starting to get too wholesome for my liking," Blitz says.
"Come on Blitz, don't be like that. Have a little fun," Eda says.
Amara giggles, "Oh Eda."
"So then, what do you think we should do after dinner?" Amara asks.
Suddenly, they begin to hear children screaming, but not in a good way. They turn their heads to see a few teenage Imps are laughing as they fire the guns at any Imp or at the walls of the building. The children begin to run away as they try to run for their parents or just plan on running away from the scene.
"Talk about overkill," Blitz says.
"Funny since we kill human beings in the living world," Amara says.
Suddenly, Amara notices Roy running towards her and falls to the ground. Roy turns to notice one of the teenage Imps having a gun and shows an evil smirk.
"Well, look what we have here. A little Impy shrimp," The Imp with shaggy hair says, and points it to Roy.
Amara becomes shocked and then glares at them viciously as her eyes glow red and an aura surrounds her body.
"Big mistake," Eda says.
"What the fuck is going on?" Blitz asks.
"Just watch," Eda says.
The teenage Imp says, "Time to kiss your ass goodbye."
"I rather you don't," A firm female voice says.
The three Imps turn their heads to see Amara glaring at them with her four glowing eyes.
"Who is this, another high and mighty bird who thinks is better than the rest of us," One teenager says.
Another says, "She doesn't look so tough. It's not like she cares for this little shi…"
Suddenly, the Imp is pushed back against the wall as the feathers are stabbed to the wall. The Imp becomes stunned and looks at his right cheek to see a cut on his face next to the feather as it bleeds.
He then looks at Amara with a frightened look. And becomes more scared when Amara's robotic fist slams to the wall on the other side.
"You dare insult my little brother, and you tried to shoot him. If there's one of the things I can't stand, it's beings like you that like to pick on the less strong. It might be the way in Hell, but what you're doing has pissed me off," Amara angrily says.
The Imp becomes petrified.
"Hey! Who do you think you are, you bitch?!" The fat Imp angrily demands as he and his other friend aim to fire.
Suddenly, Amara raises her organic hand and uses her telekinesis to take away their guns. She then grabs it with her robotic hand and clenches her hand, crushed like paper. Then she drops to the ground. The three Imps become petrified with fear to see Amara's actions and the glare of a predator.
"You three want me to do the same thing to your faces? I'm sure you won't be able to look at the mirror after that. I wouldn't mind it if it means you three get what you deserve" Amara says with a glare.
The three Imps quickly gather together and hug each other with fear.
"The next time you three try to hurt my brother, or even think about trying hurting those close to me, it won't be just your guns that will be broken. If you don't want that, then never involve yourself in my affairs again…" Amara says, calmly.
Then shouts in full furry, "YOU PIECES OF TRASH!"
The three boys panic and run away screaming. Amara takes calm breaths and in a matter of seconds, she is actually back to normal.
"Amara!" Roy calls out, and hurries to his big sister.
Amara turns to see Roy and kneels down, "Roy."
Roy jumps into Amara's arms and she gives him a hug.
Roy laughs with a smile and says, "I have the coolest sister ever!"
"You're too sweet," Amara happily says.
The two hug each other with glee.
"Told you. Amara gets like that when she gets mad, especially if they try to hurt friends, family, and those who she considers close to," Eda says.
Blitz whistles, "That. was. FUCKIN AWESOME!" And laughs.
"Fuck yeah! You go, girl!" Millie says.
"Those asses deserve it!" Blitz says.
Moxxie says, "I must admit, she really isn't the type to mess with when she expresses her potential with those powers, including using her robotic hand to make a hole on the wall.
"That's my niece. She only uses those powers if necessary. She mostly relies on her physical strength and her robotic limbs to fight. That's the reason why I think Amara can handle it, herself, and take care of Roy. Those two are practically inseparable and will do what they can to stick up for each other," Eda says.
After the incident at the mall and having dinner, it's time for Eda to head back to the Wrath Ring, back home.
"Well then, It's time for me to head back to the old Wrath Ring. I still got some work to do," Eda says.
"We'll miss you Aunt Eda, we hope you can stay longer," Amara says.
"I know, but I have to get back to my job, and you got some work in the morning," Eda says.
Roy then hugs Eda, "I'll miss you Aunt Eda."
"I'll miss you too, small fry. Remember to help your sister around the house," Eda says.
Then Eda remembers, "Before I forget, a certain someone wants me to give you a special present." And takes out a small black box.
"What is it?" Amara asks, taking the box.
"Oh I don't know. A certain young bat thought it would be perfect for your pendant," Eda says.
Amara blushes and mutters, "Aaron."
Amara then opens the box and to her surprise, she sees a beautiful gold snake chain in the box.
"It's very beautiful," Amara says.
She then uses her magic to levitate the pendant tied around her neck with a string out of her shirt. The pendant has a golden base with a blue color in the middle. It has a yellow gold moon with shimmering small stars around it, and has a red Star Ruby gemstone. There is also a strange design on the inside. She then removes the string from the pendant, and puts the pendant's around the chain. Then place it around her neck.
"Yeah. He also misses you. I can give him your phone number and he'll have a field day calling you," Eda says.
Amara blushes, "Aunt Eda."
"Don't worry, Aaron just misses you. Same with your other friends. They miss you a lot," Eda says.
"I know. I miss them too. I still have their support and your support. Can you tell them that I promise to pay them a visit as soon as I can. And that they are welcome to come to my home. I've already sent them letters of my address and where I work, so I'll be expecting a lot," Amara says.
"You sure will. You two take care of each other and hope to hear from you soon," Eda says.
Eda then walks to her truck and drives away as Amara and Roy wave goodbye to their aunt and hope to see them soon. Roy then yawns a bit as soon as their aunt's truck is no longer at sight. Amara then picks up Roy and allows him to lay his head on her shoulder.
"Come on, let's get to bed. It's been a long day," Amara says.
Amara then walks into the apartment and heads back to their room.
Later in the night, Amara and Roy are now sleeping in their new bed, a good side to fit both of them. They are sleeping peacefully until Amara senses a strange presence. She tries to continue sleeping, but the strange presence is still bothering her. She soon wakes up and looks to see a pair of big yellow eyes staring at her. Those eyes… belongs to Blitz.
"Blitz… what are you doing here?" Amara asks, tired.
"Just want to know what you're dreaming about," Blitz says.
Amara becomes ticked off and tries to remain calm.
She then says, "Blitz…"
"Yes?" Blitz asks, curious.
Amara shouts that echoes outside of the building, "GET OUT!"
The next moment, Blitz has been tossed out of the window and lands in the dumpsters under it. Amara then closes the window and goes back to sleep. Meanwhile, Moxxie and Millie look out the window to see Blitz in the dumpster.
"Wow. I didn't think that was her first reaction," Millie says.
"Then again, he kind of deserves it," Moxxie says.
Millie giggles, "I don't know if Blitz plans on doing that again anytime soon."
"I don't think that will stop him from trying," Moxxie replies.
Moxxie and Millie then begin giggling among themselves.
