Episode 25: Early Wrath Life

12 Years Ago:

Early morning in the Rusted Gold Corral Ranch, Amara who is five years old at the time is fast asleep in her bedroom. Soon, the sound of the Hell Roster crows in the morning. Soon, young Amara lets out a yawn and rubs the sleep out of her eyes.

Amara soon grows excited and happily says, "Today is the first day of kindergarten!"

Amara quickly leaps out of bed in excitement and soon quickly gets dressed. Amara is wearing a red bandana on her head with a black button up shirt and black jeans. She then also grabs her bag.

After getting dressed and fixing her hair, little Amara runs to the staircase and slides down the railing. Then jumps off as she reaches the bottom and runs to the kitchen. There she sees Cassandra, Amara's adopted mother. She's wearing a long dark red dress with a black belt around it, and black boots.

Amara hugs her mom and says, "Morning ma!"

Cassandra turns down to Amara with a smile, "Morning Amara, I see you're already ready for school."

"Sure am. I can't wait to go to kindergarten and meet new friends!" Amara happily says.

Cassandra chuckles with a smile, "That's nice. Now make sure to wash up for breakfast."

"Okay," Amara says.

She then walks to the sink as she brings a small stool and stands on it. Then washes her hand.

Then Amara asks, "Where pa?"

"He's just getting some food for the fireplace. He should be here in a minute," Cassandra says.

Then place the breakfast plate on the table, "Now go have your breakfast, dad is going to take you to school today."

"Oh boy!" Amara happily cheers.

Amara finishes drying her hands and sits at the table. As soon as Amara sits down, Jake walks inside.

He ruffles Amara's head and says, "Morning my little cactus blossom."

Then kisses Cassandra, "And good morning my darling."

"Morning dear," Cassandra says, and kisses him back.

Then Cassandra places the plates down at the table, "Go wash up, it's time for breakfast."

"Sure honey," Jake says, and sits at the table.

Amara asks in excitement, "Hey pa, can we go to school riding Bullseye?"

"Sure, I have to head to the Charanda's place anyway, and need to get there by horse," Jake says.

"Yay!" Amara cheers.

"So are you ready for your first day of school?" Jake asks.

"Yeah! I can't wait! And I can't wait to ride Bullseye!" Amara happily says.

Sometime later, after eating and finishing getting ready. Amara along with her dad, Jake are now on their way to school riding on a black hellhorse with a silver maine and a gray ring around its left eye.

Amara cheers, "Yee haw!"

Jake continues to ride on the horse with Amara holding on tight. Amara laughs and cheers in excitement as Jake and the horse take her to school. Soon enough, they arrive at the school. It's actually a very large wooden building with a black wooden roof. It's kind of like an old fashioned school house, but this one is specifically for young children 5 years and under.

Jake pulls the reins and has Bullseye come to a stop.

"Here you go, this here is our stop," Jake says.

Amara jumps off the horse and says, "Thanks dad."

"Now have a great day at school," Jake says.

"I will. See you later," Amara happily says and runs to the school house.

Seeing his daughter leave, Jake chuckles, "My little firecracker. Sometimes I wonder where she gets the energy from."

And with that, Jake rides Bullseye away from the school and heads back home.

Sometime later at school, the classes are let out for recess and many of the students are having fun. Among these is the young Aaron who is also five years old, along with Cyclone, Greg, and Cody. The four boys are playing a game of soccer and are having fun.

Meanwhile, Amara and Josephine, who is also five, are sitting at the bench and talking and chatting with smiles on their faces.

Suddenly, someone shouts, "Knock it off, Bruno!"

The girls turn their heads to see Emily and Madison as five year old girls as well.

The young Imp Bruno is a bit chubby and has a whit buzz cut head and wears overalls.

Then Emily angrily says, "I'll tell my dad on you if you don't stop."

"What's your daddy going to do, tell us the top?" One of Bruno's friend's questions.

Then another question, "Are you going to cry to your mommy?"

"If you don't want to get hurt, how about you hand us your lunch," The third friend says.

And begin laughing as Madison and Emily grow angry and on the verge of tears. Unknown to them, Aaron and his friends have noticed them. Aamra and Josephine are witnessing them as well. Amara glares at them. She then gets up from the bench and walks over.

Amara approaches them and angrily says, "Hey!

"The three Imp boys, and the sisters look to see Amara glaring down at the boys.

Amara angrily says, "Leave those girls alone!"

"Who are you supposed to be, birdbrain?" One imp boy says.

"Yeah. This doesn't involve you," Bruno says.

"You hear me. Leave those girls along or I'm going to have to make you," Amara says.

"Oh shut up you stupid girl," Bruno says.

He then throws the ball and it smacks Amara in her stomach, causing her to fall to the ground.

Josephine gasps in fright, "Amara." And kneels down to her to check if she's okay.

"I'm… I'm okay," Amara answers, sitting up and clenching her stomach.

Meanwhile, Aaron and his friends witnessed what happened. Seeing Amara hurt, has Aaron enraged. Without thinking grabs the ball and throws it at Bruno, which smacks him right at the head, causing him to fall to the ground, shocking his friends, and the girls

Aaron soon becomes enraged by this and ends up throwing the ball at the boy's face.

He plans to do it again, but Amara stops Aaron before he can do anything else.

The Imp who Aaron hit and throws the ball at Amara wouldn't back down, so Amara punches him in the face and is knocked out. Cyclone and the boys are surprised in shock to see Aaron has become so violent, which hardly happens. Then sees Aaron running to the girl, Amara. Aaron kneels down and helps her up.

In concern, Aaron asks, "Are you okay? You're not hurt, are you?"

"I'm fine, just a little sore," Amara says, and clenches her stomach.

"Are you sure? I can take you to the school nurse if you like," Aaron asks.

"Don't worry, I'll be alright," Amara says.

Bruno manages to get up and growls in anger to feel the pain on his cheek.

Bruno angrily glares at the bat demon and the owl demon, "Why you little rats with wings! You two are dead!"

"Knock it off! You can't take on both of us!" Amara angrily says.

"Get out of my way, or I'll hurt your face next! I'm not afraid to hit a dumb gir…" But before he can finish, Amara punches Bruno in the face and is knocked out cold.

His friends cry in fear, pick up Bruno and run away screaming.

Amara is able to stand up and turns t the girls.

Amara walks over and asks, "Are you both okay?"

"I'm okay. Thank you for helping. I'm Emily, and this is my sister, Madison," The young Succubus, Emily says.

"Yes. Thank you for helping us," Madison says.

Then asks, "Are you sure you're alright?"

"I'm fine, don't worry," Amara says.

Cyclone, Greg, and Cody rush over to Aaron.

"You okay, man?" Cody asks.

"I'm fine. Sorry about going crazy," Aaron says.

"I think it's awesome. You and that girl showed that Imp who's boss," Cyclone says.

"Thanks," Aaron says.

Greg turns to the girls and asks, "Are you all okay?"

"I'm good. My name is Amara," Amara says.

"And I'm Josephine," Josephine says.

"I'm Madison, and this is my sister, Emily," Madison says.

"Hello," Emily says.

"I'm Cyclone," Cyclone says.

"I'm Greg," Greg says.

Then Cody says, and I'm Cody."

Aaron turns to Amara and says, "My name is Aaron. It's nice to meet you."

"Nice to meet you, Aaron," Amara says.

"What you did was amazing. You stood up to Bruno and punched him in the face. You're kind of strong," Aaron says.

Amara blushes and says, "Thanks. You had a good throw with that ball."

"Thanks," Aaron says.

Suddenly, they hear the school bell rings.

"That's the bell. We better get to class," Cody says.

"Come on, let's go before we're late," Amara says.

"Last one there is a hellmouse," Greg says.

And with that, the group of eight race to the classroom, soon enough, it feels like they're becoming friends. Aaron stares especially at Amara, and without knowing it, his pupils turn to hearts as he remembers how amazing, and strong, and brave she is. Unknown to Aaron, Amara's cheeks blushes as well as she smiles. And practically has her eyes towards Aaron.

2 Years Later:

One afternoon at the outskirts of their home down, there is a large desert area full of cactus, minimum plants with different Hell animals, and large canyons near volcano areas. Just then, running into the desert area is Aaron, age seven is holding a toy pistol and rifle, and wears a black cowboy hat, along with a red and bladed shirt, a beige color jacket, black jeans with a brown belt, and black boots.

Aaron calls out, "Amara!"

A short distance away, Amara, who is also seven years old, is holding a toy bow and arrow along with a toy war club. She is also wearing a headband that has a white feather attached. Amara is wearing beige leggings, and a full length dress. She is also wearing beaded bracelets on her wrist along with a necklace.

Amara calls out, "Aaron!"

Soon, they begin to run deep into the desert as they laugh and play together. They're playing a game of cowboys and indians. Aaron is the cowboy and Amara is the indian. Amara and Aaron use their toys to playfully hit each other's weapons. Soon, they both fall to the ground and laugh with smiles.

Amara quickly gets up and says, "Last one to Hellsnake Rock is a rotten egg!" and runs on her feet.

"You won't win!" Aaron calls out.

Soon, the two begin to race across the desert plain and towards Hellsnake Rock as they laugh and have fun. The two friends continue to play around until they spot a giant rock formation that looks almost like a rattlesnake.

Amara soon touches the rock and shouts, "I WIN!"

Aaron then touches the rock soon after. The two friends begin laughing with smiles on their faces, but stop laughing to hear loud sounds. They both turn their heads to see a small herd of wild Hell Horses running, and they look almost scared. They turn to the direction they run away from, and to their shock, they see a tornado heading this way. This tornado is big and looks like it's made of fire.

Aaron gasps, "It's a Fire Tornado!"

"Run!" Amara cries out.

Aaron and Amara begin to run away from Hellsnake Rock and plan to head back to town, but come to realize that they run fast from home, and they need to find a hiding place fast. Soon, Aaron turns his head to notice a cave in the mountain landscape.

"To the cave! It's the safest place to go!" Aaron says.

Not objections, Aaron and Amara run towards the cave, but the fire tornado is coming in their direction. The two run as fast as their small legs can carry to get to the cave and into safety.

"Come on, hurry!" Aaron calls out.

"I'm trying!" Amara calls out.

The two friends continue running and soon reach the cave. Aaron is about to run inside, when Amara trips on a small rock and falls down. Aaron turns around to see Amara is on the ground, but she quickly gets up. However, the tornado is closing in on the cave. As Amara runs to the cave, the fiery tornado begins to capture Amara in its air current.

Aaron cries out, "Amara!"

Aaron quickly rushes out and grabs Amara's hand.

"Aaron!" Amara cries out.

Aaron then pulls Amara into his arms and tries to get into the cave. Soon, they're both pulled by the air current and so Aaron flies his wings as hard as he can to get into the cave. Finally, Aaron flaps his wings so fast as they both practically been slingshot into the cave. Aaron and Amara scream as Aaron is flying through the cave fast and unable to stop. Then Aaron's foot ends up hitting one of the rocks as they fall, stumble, and roll deeper into the cave. Soon enough, the two find themselves in some large cavern, and the only source of light is high above the ceiling of the cave. Just a small speck of light, and it appears to move slowly. And the two end up splashing into the small lake in the cave. As they splash in the water, the mountain shakes due to the fire tornado, and causes the rock to fall and seal the way they come in.

Amara sits up as she looks around the cave, "Where… where are we?"

"I think we're in the cave of one of the mountains," Aaron answers.

Then helps her up as he asks, "Are you okay?"

"I'm okay… thank you for saving me," Amara says, still sounding scared.

"Um yeah," Aaron says, blushes a little.

Amara feels a chill in the air and her being wet doesn't help. Then she lets out a sneeze. Aaron feels bad for Amara, and helps her and himself out of the water and sit down. Aaron then takes off his jacket and places it over Amara to keep her warm. Just then, Aaron notices his medal around his neck that has a picture of a hellhorse with a horseshoe around the rim, and is attached to a black, red, and white color ribbon. This is actually a first place medal in a Young pony race.

Aaron then smiles and has an idea. He takes off his medallion as he sits next to Amara.

He then says, "Here." and places the medallion around Amara's neck.

Amara is surprised and looks at the medallion. Amara then removes one of her favorite beaded bracelets that has star charms on it, and places it around Aaron's wrist. Aaron can't help but smile.

Amara then says, "We're always gonna be best friends, huh."

Aaron smiles and says, "Yeah. We sure are."

Just then, the light at the center of the cave moved towards the center. The small light hit a prism in the center of the small lake. The prism causes the light to shine all over the cave. To the group's amazement, the light shines on all sorts of gems like jade, jasper, azurite, chrysocolla. amethyst, garnet, and other kinds of gems in the cave. There are gems in the ceiling, walls, and other places in the caves. Aaron and Amara are astonished to find this many gems in the cave. Unexpectedly, a small round rock about the size of a baseball, falls off of a ledge close by and lands in front of the kids. Then it split in half to reveal geodes inside of the rock, specifically moonstone gems.

"This place is beautiful," Amara says.

Aaron says, "We must be in the Ornament Caves."

"The cave where many gems in one place could be found. I always thought it was a legend," Amara says.

"And it looks like we ended up finding it," Aaron says

Then looks around to the sealed tunnel, "But it looks like we're unable to get out that way."

"Aaron, how are we going to get out?" Amara asks..

"Hmm," Aaron replies.

The two look around the tunnel to notice the only exit is the hole above the cave where the light shines through.

"It looks like the only way out is up there," Aaron says.

"Yeah. At least we both can fly," Amara says.

Aaron uses his wings while Amara uses her levitating ability to fly up and head to the small opening, but not before taking their geodes with them. They soon reach the hole and can see that it's barely just their size.

Aaron turns to Amara, "Alright Amara, you get out first."

"Okay," Amara says.

Amara carefully squeezes her way out of the small opening, and pops out. Aaron soon does the same. Amara takes Aaron's hand and pulls him out as Aaron folds his wings. Finally, the two friends are out of the cave and now look to find themselves on the side of the mountain, but it is enough to get themselves down safely. Aaron and Amara soon notice their hometown.

"Look, there it is," Amara says.

"Yeah. Come on, let's get home," Aaron says.

"Sure. Race ya!" Amara says and flies off.

"Wait up!" Aaron calls out, and flies off.

The two continue to fly and laugh with smiles on their faces with smiles on their faces.

4 Years Later:

Amara wakes up from her sleep. As she slowly wakes up, she lifts her arms up to see one organic hand and one artificial hand. She lets out a sad sigh and climbs out of bed. She places her artificial legs down and lifts herself up off the bed. Amara begins to walk on the floor, but stumbles upon every step she takes. Unable to walk any longer, Amara collapses on her artificial knees and feels herself shaking. Amara hugs herself with her organic arm as she clenches her artificial arm, shaking in fear. It's been sometime since she has lost her parents along with one of her arms and both legs. She just can't stop shaking in fear of losing her parents and her limbs in the process.

Suddenly, she hears the door knocking, followed by Aaron's young voice, "Amara, are you up? Can I come in?"

Amara slowly looks up and softly answers, "O… Okay…"

The door opens and young Aaron walks inside.

Seeing her in the state, Aaron rushes to Amara, "Amara? Are you okay?"

"I… I'm…" Amara answers, trying to say she's okay.

But Amara lowers her head and sadly answers, "I'm… not… I'm okay… but not okay… I'm… not okay…"

Amara soon begins to sob in sadness and says, "I… I hate them…. I hate this… I hate these limbs… I hate those angelic weapons… I hate the ones who kill my parents… the ones who lift me and my brother alone… I hate that I can't remember who they are… can't remember their faces…"

Amara covers her face as she continues to sob in sadness.

Aaron grows sad as well to see his best friend in his state, "Amara…"

Sometime later, Aaron is helping Amara with her rehabilitation. Amara has her artificial hand and her organic hand on two vertical poles as she does her best to walk.

"Easy Amara, you're doing great so far," Aaron says.

"You um, you think so…" Amara asks, still having wobbly feet.

"Yeah. You're doing great. It's already been two weeks since you got your new limbs and you've already gotten the hang of it," Aaron says

"Thanks," Amara says.

She sadly sighs and says, "But I don't like them so much. They're feeling weird and I can't really use my magic with these limbs. I'm having trouble controlling my magic with just one arm."

"I understand how frustrating it is, but I promise to do whatever I can to help you," Aaron says.

Amara sadly sighs, "And I feel a lot like a burden. You've done so much for me alright."

"Don't forget, you and your parents have done a lot for me and my family. You sometimes take your time away from your family farm to help out with our farm, including our crops and some of our deliveries. Plus, you and I have been best friends since kindergarten so I'm more than happy to help," Aaron says.

Amara gives Aaron a small smile as she continues walking towards Aaron while holding the vertical bars.

"Thanks Aaron," Amara happily replies, "Remind me when I get used to these artificial arms and be able to properly use them, to make you red velvet cookies with dark chocolate chips. Your favorite."

"Thanks. I would love to have another one of your cooking," Aaron says.

Amara giggles, "Oh Aaron, I'm not that good at cooking. If anything, Josephine is better at cooking."

"Don't be so modest, you're a great cook. And you're a smart girl as well," Aaron says.

Amara giggles, "I suppose you're right."

Then says with a serious expression, "But I need to continue getting better and get my school work finished. I'm practically in my second year of high school at an early age, so I need to make sure to keep up with my school world."

"Speaking of school work, I know it's early to talk about, but did you ever think of going to college," Aaron says.

Amara continues to walk across the vertical bars until she manages to reach the other side.

"Part of me was thinking of going to college, but I don't know. With my parents gone, and my aunt taking care of me, and we don't always make a lot, we need the money to support ourselves, especially to make sure Roy goes to school," Amara says.

"You're right. Your life is going to get harder," Aaron says.

Then I had an idea, "Maybe I can help. I can help give you the money to help get you to a good college."

"I can't ask you to do that. You've already helped me enough. I can't keep having you help me any longer. I gotta help myself," Amara says.

She lets go of the vertical bars and begins to walk on her own. She leaves the vertical bars and walks around the open space of the room. Amara begins to stumble and almost falls over, but manages to catch the furniture and is able to stand.

She sighs in relief and says, "And I'm going to start by getting myself better."

"You're as strong as ever Amara," Aaron says.

Suddenly, they hear the door open and turn to see one year old Roy, crawling into the bedroom with a smile on his face.

"Roy?" Amara asks, surprised.

Eda walks in to see where Roy has crawled off to.

"Hey kids, how are the lessons going?" Eda asks with a smile.

"Doing good, but I still kind of hate these artificial limbs. They're a pain," Amara says.

Eda sadly sighs, "I know things aren't going to be easy with those limbs, but you'll have to make the best of it, and the rest of us will do our best to support you. Your friends are also supporting you too."

"Yeah," Amara says.

Suddenly, she hears a voice, "Mar mar."

Amara and Aaron look down to see little Roy crawling towards Amara and reaching his little hand out towards her.

He continues to reach out towards her as he calls out, "Mar mar. Mar Mar."

"Looks like Roy knows that you're trying your best, and knows you're his big sister, even if you look different," Aaron says.

Roy happily calls out as he reaches Amara, "Mar mar. Mar Mar."

Amara giggles and picks Roy up in her arms.

"Hey Roy, how are you doing?" Amara asks with a smile.

Baby Roy giggles and touches Amara's face with a smile on his face.

Baby Roy happily says, "Mar mar."

And leans against Amara's shoulder as he lets out a yawn and rests his head on Amara's shoulder.

Eda smiles, "Aww. that is so cute. Roy really likes you a lot."

"Yeah. I did plan on being a good sister to Roy and I'm planning on doing just that," Amara says, and begins to walk.

However, Amara stumbles and falls over. Luckily, Amara lands on her back as she holds Roy up, so he doesn't get hurt. Aaron and Eda walk up to Amara in concern.

"Are you alright, Amara?" Eda asks.

"I'm okay," Amara says.

Then looks at Roy, "How are you feeling Roy?"

Roy who has woken up begins giggling and grows excited. Then begins to touch her artificial arm.

Aaron laughs a bit and says, "Looks like Roy is having fun."

"Yeah," Amara says.

She sighs and says, "I still don't like them so much."

"I'm sure you'll get used to it… eventually," Eda says.

Amara sits up and says, "I sure hope so."

For the past few weeks, Aaron does his best to help Amara become used to using her artificial legs. Amara has to practice walking, sprinting, bending, and even running on her artificial legs. She also has to learn how to jump and use her limbs. Of course, every so often, Amara either falls over and lands on her front or back, and sometimes the artificial limbs snap off once in a while. And it's also difficult about using her artificial arm, especially when she has to pick up and hold things in them. She also struggles with writing with it, although she mainly uses her organic hand for it. Aaron and Eda also help Amara keep up with her school work, but with her having to stay in bed a lot, except for her rehabilitation, and since Amara is intelligent, keeping up with her assignment is rather easy.

Around a few months later, Amara is able to use her artificial limbs perfectly, and able to do the things she likes to do. She also learns a few new tricks to use her artificial limbs, especially when she is able to use her artificial extending arm as a lasso.

On a bright day, Amara is practicing using her artificial arm as a lasso. She continues to use her lasso as well as she can, even though it's proven difficult. Aaron, Josephine, Greg, Cody, Emily and Madison, and Cyclone, are watching. Eda is there too as he holds Roy. Amara continues to practice her rope work with her artificial extended arm and performs tricks, including twirling it around her as she jumps through it like a hoop. The others begin cheering for her.

"Go Amara!" Madison cheers.

"You're doing great!" Cody says.

"Yee haw!" Cyclone calls out.

"You go, girl!" Emily calls out.

Amara continues to perform her rope tricks and is finally able to lasso one of the barrels close by with her artificial limb. Then pulls it towards her. Everyone applauded with excitement for Amara's rope trick.

"You did great Amara," Eda says.

Baby Roy happily claps as well with a smile on his face.

Amara smiles and says, "Yeah. I'm actually glad that I feel a lot better."

Then looks at her artificial arm, "And I have to admit, I'm actually starting to get used to having these limbs. They actually come in handy."

Aaron chuckles, "So you don't hate them anymore."

"Yeah yeah," Amara says, "I have to agree, I did hate them to begin with because I have to be stuck with them for the rest of my life, but I'm actually able to do a lot more tricks with them, especially with my rope tricks," And twirls the artificial arm that has become a lasso once more.

"I think you're doing great so far, and it's already been a few months since you got them, and after everything you've gone through," Greg says.

Cody grins and says, "Yep. I say Amara is back to being the spunky, tom-boy, rough, tough, and totally aggressive cowgirl owl we all know and love."

"Yeah. It's good to have the old Amara back." Aaron says with a smile.

"Glad you like it," Cyclone says.

He then nudges Aaron's shoulder and questions with a smirk, "So dude, when are you going to do it."

"Uh do what?" Aaron asks.

"I think what Cyclone is going to ask, are you going to kiss Amara or ask her out on a date?" Josephine replies.

Aaron blushes like crazy, "Why would I?!"

Soon everyone begins laughing with grins on their faces. Hearing the laughter, Amara looks to see everyone, but Aaron and Eda are laughing.

Amara walks over and asks, "Hey guys, what's so funny?"

Then blushes a bit to see Aaron and asks, "So Aaron, you're okay. Your face is blushing."

"I uh, well, it's nothing," Aaron says, embarrassed.

"Oh, I see. So Aaron, you wanna go riding our horses later?" Amara replies.

"Sure. I would like that," Aaron says.

Just then, everyone begins snickering as some cover their mouths.

"What?" Amara asks, confused.

"Oh nothing," Greg says, turning away.

Madison giggles and says, "I think it's sweet and adorable."

"Yeah. I hope you two love birds have fun riding your horses," Cody says with a grin.

Amara and Aaron grow more embarrassed, "Cody!"

Soon, the kids begin snickering as Aaron and Amara's faces turn red. They turn to each other and grow embarrassed and turn their heads, causing their faces to blush even more.

Now:

Amara and Aaron continue to sleep in their bedroom. Soon, Amara begins to slowly wake up from her sleep. Amara slowly sits up and rubs the sleep and some of the left over tears that have appeared on her face. Amara gently wipes the tears from her face and climbs out of bed, still wearing her pajamas, Amara walks inside her restroom and soaks some water on her face. Then rubs her face with a towel close by.

A short time later, Amara is sitting in his living room with a glass of warm milk and a book that is her photo album. She lets out a sigh as she looks through some of the pictures she has. She turns some of the pages to see her along with Roy, Eda, and her friends. There's also a few pictures of her and Roy with Blitz and the others from I.M.P. Amara stops to see a photo of herself and Roy, Stolas and Octavia are there as well. She remembers it was taken during their trip to the arcade.

Amara sadly sighs to see the picture as she also remembers the possibility that Stolas is her birth father, and the incident of her parents death and what Orpheus and Mirror have done. Even the incident that has happened at Ozzie's. She simply closes the book, and puts the album aside. Then drinks the rest of her milk. Once she's done, she puts the glass in the sink.

Amara sighs and says, "I need some air."

And with that, Amara goes into her closet and quickly changes her clothes. She is dressed in a black long sleeve shirt, a light red button vest, a dark red bandana around her neck, dark blue jeans, and a dark brown buckskin jacket with trimmed fridges on it. She then places her hat and puts on her necklace around her neck and tucks it in her bandana. She grabs her backpack with a few of her essentials and leaves her apartment, but not before leaving a note for Aaron.

Amara walks down the sidewalk and tries to think really hard about what to do. She feels that the night at Ozzie's and the night entirely has been a big mess. To Amara, her life has also been a bit of a mess, especially now. She doesn't know what to do, and she can't get the memories of what Orpheus and Mirror have said out of her mind. Amara shakes it off and lets out a sad sigh, and doesn't know what to do about it.

She softly says, "What am I going to do?

And suddenly, Amara begins to sing.

Amara:

Here comes a wave

meant to wash me away.

A tide that is taking me under.

Amara continues to walk down the sidewalk in the middle of the night.

Amara:

Swallowing sand,

left with nothing to say.

My heart drowned out in the thunder.

Tears begin to fall from her face.

Amara:

But I can't cry

And I can't start to crumble

Then she wipes the tears from her face.

Amara:

Whenever they try

to shut me or cut me down.

Amara walks down the sidewalk until she comes across a broken mirror leaning against the wall of the store.

Amara:

I can't be silenced!

They can't keep me quiet!

Amara looks to see her reflection among the cracks of the mirror.

Amara:

Can't tremble when they try it!

All I know is I can't go speechless!

Then gently slides her hand along the mirror close to the cracks.

Then continues to walk down the sidewalk

Amara:

Cause I'll breathe

when they try to suffocate me!

She gently places her hand close to her neck.

Amara:

Won't let them underestimate me!

Cause I know that I can't go speechless!

Amara continues to walk until she arrives at the park that has a small playground.

Amara:

Written in stone

Every rule, every word

Centuries old and unbending

"Stay in your place."

"Better seen and not heard."

Well, now that story is ending

Amara walks towards the playground as she looks up to see the twinkling stars.

Amara:

Cause I,

I cannot start to crumble!

Amara reaches her hand towards the sky.

Amara:

So come on and try,

Try to shut me and cut me down!

Then lowers her arm down and clenches her fist.

Amara:

I won't be silenced!

Amara soon swifts her left arm and has feathers spread to the left side of her.

Amara:

You can't keep me quiet!

Then does the same with her right arm.

Amara:

Won't tremble when you try it!

Amara then spins around and creates magical feathers, almost like she's dancing.

Amara:

All I know is I won't go speechless!

She continues to spin as she dances, then jumps in the air.

Amara:

Speechless!

Then lands on the ground as the feathers spread across the area.

Amara:

Let the storm in!

I cannot be broken!

Then walks away as she begins to climb on the playground structure.

Amara:

No, I won't live unspoken!

She then jumps off of it, and walks towards the large tree.

Amara:

Cause I know that I won't go speechless!

She looks up to see how high the tree is. And soon begins to climb up the tree.

Amara:

Try to lock me in this cage!

I won't just lay me down and die!

Amara continues to climb up the tree until she is close to the top.

Amara:

I will take these broken wings

Then looks at her artificial arm and both her artificial limbs.

Amara:

And watch me burn across the sky!

Then clenches it as she looks up in the sky.

Amara:

Hear the echo saying I...

Won't be silenced!

And her voice kind of echoes across the park, and maybe farther.

Amara:

Though you wanna see me tremble when you try it,

She then jumps off the tree and is able to land on the ground perfectly, without breaking her artificial legs.

Amara:

All I know is I won't go speechless!

Speechless!

Then continues to walk around the park as she feels sighs of relief off her chest.

Amara:

Cause I'll breathe

when they try to suffocate me!

Then places her hand around her neck.

Amara:

Don't you underestimate me!

Amara continues to grow determined after each verse.

Amara:

Cause I know that I won't go speechless!

All I know is I won't go speechless!

Speechless!

Amara finishes singing as she looks up in the sky. She walks to a fountain and sits at the rim of it. She looks down at the reflection of the water to see her own face. She gently places her organic hand in the water and gently circles around it, making ripples in the water. As she sits and looks at herself in the reflection of the water, she starts to remember about something that has happened a long time ago. From her mom.

And hears her voice in her head, "Amara… Amara…"

Flashback:

Amara along with her mother Cassandra are both laying in her bedroom. During this time, Cassandra has been pregnant with Roy. Amara also has a cast and a sling on her right arm.

"You need to remember to take it easy, and not stress yourself," Cassandra says.

"I know mommy, but I want to still help the family, and with you having my new brother or sister, you're unable to work as much, so I want to help out the best I can," Amara says.

Cassandra chuckles, "I know sweetie, but you don't have to put up with so much stress and pressure on yourself just to help. You can do so much for yourself without having to do things for us. I'm glad you think helping your family and friends are important, and you always have obligations to it, but you also have obligations to yourself. There are times when you need to be strong, not just for everyone else, but for yourself as well. And there are times that you need to make difficult choices for yourself, even if it's not for someone else. I know you will make these kinds of choices in the future. Just remember to be yourself, and you'll be fine."

Flashback Ends:

Remember what her mom says, has her thinking a bit.

Then says to herself, "Mom's right. It's okay for me to be strong for others, but I also need to be strong for myself. And… I can't let what happened mess with my life. And I can't let the fear of remembering what happened, or what I've been told get in the way of my life for myself and my brother."

She takes a deep breath and says, "And I can start by finding out the truth. I just hope I have the courage to face him. I have to."

Amara then quickly texted her phone to Aaron to let him know where she's going.

On her phone, Amara messages, "Aaron, I'm going to see Stolas as his mansion. Sorry for being gone by the time you wake up, but I need to do this. I have to find out the truth."

Then Amara sends the message and puts her phone in her pocket.

Amara then uses her powers to levitate herself and fly to Stolas' mansion so she can talk to him, and asks him about the truth of her being his daughter. She can only hope she's brave enough to ask by the time she arrives.
