AN: Izuku is going to a weird combo of all the DnD spell casters.

Izuku was wandering the nearby shops of Mustaftu, heading to one of his favorite shops. It was a small bookstore, that held various fictional books. From famous fantasy novels to comic books from the pre quirk era, Izuku had always been fascinated with the store. It was one of his favorite places to go to, especially with the owner not looking down on the boy.

The middle-aged woman greeted Izuku when he entered. He gave a shy wave back as he headed to the back of the store. Izuku already knew what to search for, he just needed to find it.

He was now in the store's miscellaneous area. After browsing the knick-knacks he found his item. It was a leather back notebook, empty. That wasn't a problem for Izuku since he knew the thing was refillable.

He went to the register and gave the owner the necessary funds. Izuku walked out of the store towards his next destination. Izuku double-checked his backpack to make sure he had everything needed. 'Tonight is when I begin my path to become a hero!'

He felt the approval and he was giddy with excitement. Most people knew of Izuku, not by name though. They had heard of the green haired child that could be seen at most hero scenes, scribbling and muttering incoherently. Muttering that would give one a headache if they listened too closely. Izuku was given a wide berth since he was muttering so loudly today.

Izuku never noticed the discomfort of his fellow civilians. One explosion caught his attention, Izuku saw Kamuai Woods swinging from one of his quirk-created vines. He delivered a flying sidekick into some apparent thug. The teen went for his notebook but stopped when he was reminded mentally of his objective. 'I can't. I need to head off.'

With a disappointed sigh, Izuku left the scene. He didn't notice a few curious onlookers watching. Izuku was also known as the biggest Hero Otaku in his hometown. Him leaving the scene was going a bit of gossip for a few days.

Izuku finally made it to his final destination. The sky had turned dark now, the stars easily visible. He wondered why he was told to come here. 'Dagoboh Beach is a trash ridden place. Let's find a good spot here in the sand to get this started.'

Once a good spot, he pulled out an All Might themed mat and placed it down on the sand. After that, he reached into his backpack to get a set of stones he had gathered the other day. He placed them down on the perimeter of the mat. The next items were the old notebook and the new leatherback. Izuku placed the two books side by side in the middle of the mat.

Izuku shakily pulled out a small knife. It was only a peeling knife but he was still scared to use it. A mental nudge made the teen cut his thumb. He used the blood that leaked to write his name in Kanji on the notebook. He then smeared strange symbols onto the stones and placed the stones on the perimeter of the mat.

Izuku cleaned the wound on his thumb first and placed a bandage over it. He then pulled out a cup that had some sort of incense in it. He took a few matches out of his backpack to light it. 'Okay, that wasn't too bad. Only one more step.'

He then took one deep breath as he sat down in front of his notebooks. He looked up into the sky as he began o speak an unknown language. The Kanji on the stones glowed a dark green before the smoke from the incense turned the same color. The two notebooks suddenly flew open.

The green smoke enveloped Izuku as kept chanting. The stones emitted green fire that consumed the smoke, stones, and the mat. Izuku and the notebooks were unharmed, even as otherworldly fire surrounded them.

The flames felt like someone was scratching Izuku with sharp nails as he reached the end of his chant. Izulu held in a yelp of pain as the feeling became more intense. His eyes watered as he tried not to scream.

The moment he felt like he was going to break, the fire was gone. The sand beneath him had blackened, leaving only Izuku and one notebook. It was similar to the leatherback one he had bought today, but the cover was thicker now. And on the front was his name in the strange language he had created or learned, Izuku never knew which one it was.

He ignored the shaking of his body and opened the notebook. On the first page was a quill, or what Izuku guessed was a quill. It was black as the void with spots resembling stars, constantly changing in brightness and size. 'That's a strange thing.'

When Izuku picked it up, he felt a prick. Like something had pierced the skin of his finger. He shrugged before testing the writing instrument. He was on the page of the All Might Mural. The first thing he wrote was his, which was a familiar red. 'It's like it's written in blood!'

Izuku put down the quill and inspected his finger. He found dried blood. 'This thing is using my blood.'

That frightened him, but his curiosity was stronger. 'Maybe it's best if I do this at home.'

He placed the quill in the tome. He then picked it up and walked away. 'Kind of sucks I lost my Mighty Mat and other notebook. Especially the mat. I hope Mom doesn't get mad about me losing another backpack! At least it wasn't an ALL Might one!'

In the back of his mind, he knew he was going to return to the beach soon.

(Next Morning)

After finishing his morning routine, Izuku sat on his desk with his tome. He had woken up with fizzy memories of how his tome worked, He knew he had to write all the information down in the book. 'Writing with my blood isn't going to be a pleasant experience. I wonder if there's a way to measure how much blood I have lost.'

He felt a niggling sensation in his head, one that felt relieving. The boy then pulled out his very first quirk analysis book. He had already taken out Katsuki's pages, but that wasn't what he was looking for. The pages were on two quirks, his parents'.

Bittersweet feelings emerged as he reread the pages, which only intensified when he got to the pages of his possible quirks. He had imagined the quirk would be a combination of his parents'. 'Some form of pyrokinetic. I even had dreams of working under Endeavor before I went Pro.'

He also had imagined just a stronger variant of his parents'. 'Maybe I could have lifted bigger stuff than my mom. The size of my head or body instead of my hand? The only thing I could think of from Dad's quirk was just breathing hotter fire.'

Izuku camped down on these old feelings. He didn't need to think about this. 'I might even be to still do those things with this new power of mine!'

Now excited again, Izuku read the notes from his younger years. He laughed at the simple words he had used to explain quirks then noticed the better wording used in later notebooks. Izuku spent the next thirty minutes to summarize all the information. After writing these summaries on normal paper with normal writing tools, he pulled out all the notes of his parents' quirks.

He ended with a patchwork of pages, similar to Katsuki's. When he placed the patchwork pages into the tome, he noticed a green light appear near the spine of the book. 'That's weird. Did that happen last time?'

Filing the tidbit to the back of his mind, Izuku picked up the quill with trepidation. He gave it one nervous glance as the end touched the paper. He didn't feel pain, but the teen was still anxious. He knew each crismon word was made by his life force. The utter weirdness of it terrified and fascinated him. 'It's just a strange part of my quirk. Blood Quirks aren't unheard of. Vlad King is the most prominent member of the Vampire Alliance. A sort of club for blood quirk users to receive fair treatment!'

Going over these particular Heroes eased Izuku's anxiety as he began to write. When he finished writing, he felt a little light headed. He had written two pages for his parents' quirk. He put down the quill as his head began to pound. The quill was surrounded with translucent green energy before flying back into the tome. 'That was just like my mom's quirk.'

Before he could theorize on what just happened, he heard knocking on the odor. "Izuku, you haven't eaten yet. Is everything okay?"

"Yes, Mom! I was going to eat soon," He said as he opened the door. His stomach decided to rumble at this moment. He gave his mother a sheepish grin.

"I'll make you something right now then," she said with a small smile on her face.

"Let me help!" he replied before almost falling over.

Inko frowned. "No, you wait here while I go cook everything. You should have eaten earlier. It's almost lunchtime now!"

"Sorry." Inko patted her son's head as he went back into his room, the boy still visibly excited. 'I wonder what has put him in such a good mood?'

(Later that Day)

After a large brunch and a small nap, Izuku had realized he gained a wealth of information. 'Will this happen every time I sleep?'

He felt the mental equivalent of a shrug from above. He went to his desk and opened the tome. On the first page, the mural had changed. All Might's signature was at the top and still the largest piece. But beneath it was the head of a small dragon, one that was obviously in adolescence. It was breathing a small stream of fire. To the left of that, was a green orb.

'What? I know these must represent my parents' quirks, but how did they get there? I didn't draw them?'

He also noticed a line coming from the two new illustrations, each one connecting back to All Might's signature. One red and one green. 'Couldn't get more obvious.'

He turned the next page to see Bakugo's was still the mess as last time. The next page had changed though. This page focused on his mom's quirk. "All the notes somehow consolidated into one page. I can't even tell I had to piece the pages together with tape anymore!"

The same had happened to the pages containing the notes on his father's quirk. The teen only had four pages now, which he had eight this morning. He noticed symbols on the ride side of the page that translated to bonds of power. "Strange. I wonder why those are there."

Izuku filed that for later, now looking over the tome once again. He was satisfied with what he had learned now and closed it. He saw a brief image of black sand and knew it was time. 'I have to go to school tomorrow! My mom would be mad if I was out that late!'

A more forceful nudge made him relent. 'Okay! But no fire this time!'

Izuku could feel the smugness as he packed everything he needed. 'At least I won't need blood this time!'

"Mom, I'm heading out!" He said as he approached the door.

"Don't stay out too late. You have school tomorrow!" she said as he left.

'I told you she doesn't want me out late.' Izuku felt the indifference, 'You don't have to be like that!'

Izuku's travel to Dagobah Beach was surprisingly calm. He did get to see quite a few heroes patrolling about. 'If only some action was happening! I could get some notes and maybe add them to the tome! No, wishing for crime is bad!'

Izuku shook those thoughts away. He found the blackened sand and placed the tome in the center. 'Here goes nothing.'

Izuku began to mutter his new chant, causing the notebook to be surrounded by green energy and float into the air. It flew open as a page materialized in front of the tome. The new page attached itself to the spine and the heavy book fell to the sand. 'My quirk just keeps getting weirder and weirder every day.'

Izuku picked up his tome, shaking off any sand it might have collected. He opened to the newest page. "Cantrips? What are those?"

"P̸u̴l̷l̶," he muttered in the strange language he created or learned. He felt something stir within him. He then felt like someone whacked him on the head even though there was no actual pain. "What?"

Words underneath the cantrips lit up. 'I guess I got too excited!'

Izuku read more this time, getting all the details. 'Okay, I got it this time.'

He stared at a small water bottle. "P̸u̴l̷l̶."

The bottle rocketed towards him, and Izuku was barely able to catch it in time. He looked at the tome, then the bottle. Then the tome. Then the bottle. "I finally got my quirk!"

Izuku was giddy with excitement, eager to try his second ability. He made sure to read everything again and again. He eyed a broken down fridge. He stood a fair distance as he prepared himself for his next test. "E̶m̴b̴e̴r̷ ̶B̷r̷e̷a̴t̸h̶."

A small stream of fire erupted from his mouth. A black scorch mark was left on the appliance. Izuku was happy, but not impressed. "Not as strong as Dad's. Then again he's had it for longer than my version. And I should expect it to be weaker with a name like Ember Breath instead of Fire Breath."

"Feels like I coughed up a pepper," he said to himself, a slight burn in the back of his throat. He ignored the strange giggles in his head as he headed home.
