I know I said it was a one shot but someone actually likes this heck of a thing and wanted more so...

3 years before…
"Lloyd? You ok there bud?" Kai asked fearfully, pushing Lloyd back into reality. Lloyd tried to smile, forcing those thoughts to the back of his mind.
"Course! Just thinking about some stuff, y'know?"
"Oh good." The concern was instantly washed off Kai's face. "Now hurry up! We better get some food before Cole comes back!" They walked to the dining room, the thoughts suddenly rushing back to him. His mother and his Uncle… loved each other? Wanted to be with each other? Even though Garmadon, his father, loved her just as much? (Maybe even more?) He didn't want to think about it about it…. Actually happening. But if they ever did…
"So what's for dinner?" Kai asked. Lloyd looked up from the floor and looked around. Everyone was there. Even his mother.
"I've made some lovely stew for you all." Misako beamed. Lloyd let out a sigh and sat down across from her, realising that he had just been overthinking the looks she had given Wu.
But yet again…
That look in their eyes as Misako passed a bowl of stew to Wu, he didn't like it. The fact that Wu always laughed at her jokes… he hated that.
Nya knocked him in the rips. When did she get there?
"You ok? You're making a face." Nya whispered, passing him a lump of bread. The scowl on his face loosened and he took his eyes off the two.
"Yup. I'm doing just fine." He lied.
"You're clearly not." Her face turned from confused and slightly annoyed to worry in a blink of an eye. "How about we have a little talk after dinner?"
"Fine." He felt a hiss escape his lips as he finished the word. Nya jumped back a little, but Lloyd just looked away in shame.
"It's disgusting really." Lloyd finished, feeling all the fury building up inside him letting loose. "She has a Son, and is very much married. Not to mention he's my uncle."
"Agreed." Sighed Nya. "But I don't know if you'd like to talk to them or-"
"I don't want to talk to either of them." Snapped Lloyd, his face returning to a scowl. "I don't want to even look at the two of them."
"…I think I would feel the same." Nya whispered. She looked over to Lloyd, trying to get some sense of gratitude or hope or care from him. But she only saw anger burning in his eyes, and a scowl on his face that almost definitely belonged to his father.
Nya ran down to the end of the hall, waiting for the screaming to continue.
"I hate you!" That was Lloyd's voice. It was high, shrill, upset. "I hate both of you!"
"Lloyd wait!" Female. Misako.
The doors burst open as Lloyd stormed out, almost sprinting past Nya if she hadn't caught his shoulder.
"Lloyd, are you ok?" She asked.
"Do I look fucking ok to you?" He screamed, pulling his shoulder out of her grasp. Lloyd looked absolutely pissed.
"What happened?" Nya whispered.
"Why don't you ask the two assholes over there?!" Lloyd shouted, running to his room and slamming the door. Nya looked around and found Misako and Wu in the corridor. She tried to find some explanation in their faces, but one look at the bow right they were holding each others hand was enough.
"That's your fucking son." Nya whispered, jabbing a finger at Lloyd's door. "And that's his Uncle. Who I thought I trusted. Who I thought I knew."
"Nya please. You don't understand-" Wu tried.
"So this is what you meant by there's always the future to fix our mistakes or whatever the hell you said?" Nya felt her voice rising. "Lloyd has been through so much, for the both of you! He has risked his lives for almost 16 years now, he would have never, ever, done this to you!"
Lloyd felt his stomach flip as he pushed everything off his desk and into a back. Leave. That's all he wanted to do. He could be a hero and not live with the rest of the ninja. He just needed to find somewhere to go. Somewhere that was safe-
Would his Father be willing to let him leave there? He could pay rent if he had cash. Lloyd pried the loose piece of plank in the floorboard, before ripping it off completely. He grabbed the jar of money that he had been saving up for a collectors edition of the Fritz Donnegan comics and counted the cash. That would be enough for now, right? He could get a job in the city, save up, pay up… but the others would probably try to find him then. Try to get him to come back. He didn't want to come back.
Lloyd pushed that thought away and tried rummaging through other stuff. Clothes, weapons, pictures… that's all he needed, right? Right. He opened the window, back over his shoulders, he looked around his room, stripped of all his favourite items, while the rest lay miserably on the floor. He couldn't leave like this. He sighed and took out a piece of parchment.
'I'm sorry. But I can't live like this. Don't follow me, but hope that one day we can reunite again.
Until then, farewell, and thank you.
Signed, Lloyd M. Garmadon.'
Garmadon awoke to the sound of knocking on his door. He looked over at his analog clock which read 2:32 in the morning. He stretched and got up, wondering who the hell would be up this late at night. Garmadon was already tired from unpacking his stuff into his very one apartment, instead of living of Vinny. But of course, karma had bit him in the ass and was making him get up at ungodly hours.
He turned the doorknob, barely awake.
"Listen here, it's 2 in the morning I'm not buying- Lloyd?" His Son stood in the doorway, a grey backpack slung over his back and his face red. (Presumably from walking up all the stairs, he was on the 8th floor after all.)
"H-hey dad. Sorry to wake you up." Lloyd tried to smile.
"What are you doing here?" Garmadon blinked in confusion, staring at his son. "Why do you have a backpack full of…" A sword poked out the top, as well as a sleeve of a shirt or jacket.
"Um. I was wondering if I could maybe stay a few nights here? I had a fight at the monastery and it's not really… safe for me to be there right now. I-I can pay rent of course! I've got cash in my bag so-" He started rummaging through his stuff, before Garmadon put a hand on his shoulder to stop him.
"You don't need to do that. You're my son. Please, stay for as long as you need."
