Some time after Skylar's repairs. The five friends were now planning on what they are going to do next. "It does feel great," Skylar said. "It was nice of that Mr. Lassetire guy to fix you," Jinny said. "True," Skylar replied. Clipper agreed.
"But seriously," Spiristrike said, "Don't do that again. You scared us!" "Well, that's true," Kaz agreed. "Don't worry," Skylar said, "I'll try to be more careful next time." "Yes," Spiristrike said sternly, "You will!"
"I hadn't had a proper check-up in over a year," Skylar explained. "Oh," Jinny said. "Next time," Spiritstrike said severely, "You'd better do a better job. Next time, you won't be so lucky!" And she drove away.
"What's gotten into her?" Kaz asked. "I don't know," Jinny answered. Clipper just nodded. "Right," Jinny replied in agreement.
Some time later, Kaz was minding his own business.
When Skylar came up to him. "Hello," Kaz said. "So, you got fired 14 times," Skylar said to Kaz. "Yes," Kaz admitted, "It sucks like that." "Tell me about it," Skylar said.
Watching the two, was Spiritstrike. "I'm not surprised," Spiritstrike said coldly. "I'll try to help," Skylar offered to help. "Thanks," Kaz said.
And the two friends drove off. Spiritstrike wasn't convinced. "It's time," she said to herself, "A car's got to learn how to take care of himself."
It was before sunrise. Kaz was sound asleep. That was until Spiritstrike nudged him awake. "Argh!" Kaz exclaimed, "What's up?" "I'm going to help you with a job," Spiritstrike said, "And you're going to not just help me, but yourself!" "Okay," Kaz said. "Come on!" Spiritstrike said.
"Okay," Kaz said and he followed Spiritstrike. "All right," Spiritstrike said, "Kaz, I'm going to help you." "Okay," Kaz said, "I'll-" "Don't screw up," Spiristrike said, "Just keep that in mind! Follow me."
And so, Kaz had done so. "I don't know," Kaz said. "Shut up," Spiritstrike said. They were now in a certain area. "This is where it begins," Spiritstrike said. "What does it mean?" Kaz asked, curiously.
