It's been almost a year since it happened. While doing chores outside, June was thinking about her late boyfriend, Luke. It would've been their one-year anniversary if it hadn't happened. Luke died from an incurable terminal illness that devastated everyone, especially June. Life was never the same after that. June continued to live life as best as she could but she still missed him terribly. Even though she was happy with her friends and family, not a day went by without her thinking about Luke. Like their favourite movie, song, food, etc. At that moment, she decided to sing her feelings.

I step off the train
I'm walking down your street again
Past your door
But you don't live there anymore

It's years since you've been there
Now you've disappeared somewhere
Like outer space
You've found some better place

And I miss you
Like the deserts miss the rain
And I miss you
Like the deserts miss the rain

Back on the train, I ask why did I come again?
Can I confess, I've been hanging round your old address?
The years have proved
To offer nothing since you've moved
You're long gone, but I can't move on

And I miss you
Like the deserts miss the rain
And I miss you
Like the deserts miss the rain (yeah I miss you)

I step off the train
I'm walking down your street again
Past your door
I guess you don't live there anymore

It's years since you've been there
And now you've disappeared somewhere
Like outer space
You've found some better place

And I miss you
Like the deserts miss the rain
And I miss you, yeah
Like the deserts miss the rain (I miss you)

But once she finished her song, she was quickly snatched away by an unknown force. She couldn't scream for help as she was led away from her home.

The song is Missing from Everything but the Girl.
