Blu was contemplating how he has affected the lives of his family and friends when a cold breeze came over him, and he shivered.

Then a shrouded figure approached Blu.

Blu: I'm guessing you're the Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come, here to show me all the terrible things that will happen if I don't change my ways?

The ghost pulls back his hood, revealing itself as resembling his friend Rafael.

Ghost: You're close, I am the Ghost of Christmas Future, but not the kind of future you think it is. Come with me and you'll see what I mean.

Blu: Okay, in that case, lead on spirit, the night is waning fast.

"You can call me Stewart." the ghost said as they walked on into the darkness, and all was pitch black for several seconds until a dim light began to shine around them.

Then they arrived at the aviary, where Tulio is sitting in a chair, not looking very happy.

Tulio: *sigh* I wish I could have saved the species, but I couldn't find any of them left out there.

It's very saddening to think about. Even if there were some of them in captivity, I doubt they would survive a week in their natural habitat.

Blu: What is he talking about, Stewart?

Stewart: Maybe if I show you someone closer to you, you will realize what this is.

After they walked some more, they arrived at the bookstore in Moose Lake, where Linda is working. But she looked very lonely.

Linda: I wish I had someone to share my bookstore with. Sure, I have a few friends, but I still wish I had company here.

Blu: Wait a minute...Linda wishing she had company, and Tulio being unable to save the species? Are you showing me...?

Stewart: Yes. This is not THE future, but an alternate future, where you never existed. But we are not finished yet.

So, they continued on, arriving in his hollow, but it was completely empty. No one was there, the kids, or Jewel.

Blu: Jewel? Are you here?

Stewart: I wouldn't do that if I were you. It's useless. Even if she was here, she wouldn't see you or hear you.

Blu: Where is she?

"See for yourself." said Stewart as he pointed towards a macaw that looked like Jewel, lying motionless on the ground.

Blu took a good look, and a realization came over him like a waterfall.

Blu: Jewel! (turns to Stewart) What happened to her?

Stewart: Without you, she would have died of loneliness, meaning that your family would never have existed. But there's still one more pressing thing I have to show you.

The final sight shown to Blu was a section of the Amazon that had no trees at all.

Blu recognized it as the area that the Spix Macaw Tribe would normally be.

He was shocked and saddened at what he saw.

Stewart: It was because of you that the section of the Amazon was safe from loggers, and if you never existed...

Blu: The tribe would all be dead, as well as my entire kind.

Stewart: Exactly.

Blu: *sobs* Please, take me back to the present! I will not take the people close to me for granted! Please, Stewart, Please!
