It was another beautiful day at Vacay Island and June was playing with Rhonda with her favourite Frisbee. She instantly bonded with the armadillo bus since she loved animals and could understand them, almost like learning another language. Occasionally, she would scratch Rhonda's chin which Rhonda liked a lot. And the pet would sometimes lick June on the cheek affectionately.

BroZone headed outside to prepare for their show at Bruce's restaurant. While Clay and Bruce were talking, Floyd and John Dory noticed June playing with Rhonda. Both smiled at the cute sight.

"Did you know she's good with animals?"

"No. This is the first time I'm seeing it," Floyd answered.

John smiled at Floyd's staring at June and nudged him playfully on the arm.

"What was that for?"

"Oh, nothing," John shrugged. "Just wanted to see how you'd react. Now, come on. We got a show to put on."

Floyd took one last look at June before heading to the restaurant with his brothers.

June continued playing with Rhonda when she heard a voice coming from behind her.

"Hey, girl."

June turned to see who it was. "Hey, Viva," June smiled. During their stay on the island, June also got along well with Viva, considering they were both fun-loving trolls and protective and loyal to everyone important to them.

"We're gonna watch Branch and the guys perform on stage later. Wanna come?" Viva asked.

"Maybe a little later. Big parties aren't always my thing."

"Okay," Viva put on an understanding grin. "See ya later," she approached and petted Rhonda before leaving.

"Laters," June responded.

Sometime later during the afternoon, June went to Bruce's restaurant and the show was still going on. She approached where Brandy was working and took a seat. She saw BroZone, including Poppy and Viva, were having a fun time singing and dancing onstage which made June grin widely.

"Hey, June," Brandy said after seeing that June was near her.

"Hello. How's business here today?"

"The usual," Brandy said with a grin. "Busy."

"Yeah, I can see that," June laughed. She also giggled when she saw that Brandy was making a swoony expression when she was watching Bruce perform. Those two are so cute.

"What can I get you?"

June answered. "Water and a chocolate milkshake, please."

"You got it," Brandy smiled excitedly.

"Thank you," June smiled widely.

After a couple of minutes, June was enjoying her separate beverages.

"Oh, my gosh, the shake is fantastic," June said to Brandy.

"You're welcome, and thank you."

Later, the group were singing and dancing to Club Can't Handle Me with Clay doing the rapping lyrics. June got up, danced and mouthed the words.

"I love this song!"

"Me too!" Brandy said, dancing with her.

During the middle of the performance, the group saw June and Brandy in the distance and they were all happy to see how much fun they were having watching them sing and dance. Floyd thought it was cute when June was dancing. He loved seeing her happy. June spotted him and waved before continuing to move with the music.

June was both nervous and excited for tonight. She earlier asked Viva to do her hair in a cool and stylish braid. And at the last minute, Poppy made June an outfit she thought she might like. Poppy was right because June loved the material and choice of colours.

Sometime later, she was in the living room waiting for Floyd.

"June?" he called from a distance.

"Over here," she said.

He walked to where she was and found her. He nearly dropped his jaw. She had a yellow shirt and black flowy skirt that almost reached her feet. June widened her eyes to see he was wearing a cute black tux outfit: black shirt and shorts.

"What?" June said, noticing his stupor.

"You look stunning," Floyd finally said with a big smile.

"Thanks," she said. "You don't look too bad yourself."

He grinned. "Shall we?" He made an elbow gesture. She wrapped her hand around it and they walked together to where they were going to have supper. A very special supper together.

The two found a cozy and private space where there was a beautiful view of the beach. After they ordered drinks first, June was shaking a bit.

"What's wrong? Are you cold?" Floyd asked, worried.

"No," June said. "I'm just…I'm just going to come out and say it," she took a deep breath. "I feel a little nervous right now. It's been a long time since I was out on a date like this," she widened her eyes, shocked. "Oh, gosh, sorry. I didn't mean for that word to come o-"

"It's okay," he chuckled. "If it makes you feel better, it's been a long time for me too and I'm a little nervous like you. And yes."

"Yes, what?"

"It is a date."

"Oh," she said, feeling there was nothing more she could say after that.

Their beverages arrived after that moment. June had another chocolate milkshake while Floyd had a bubblegum one.

"Oh, man. These are good," June said.

"Wanna try mine?" Floyd offered his glass.

"Yeah, and do you also want to try mine?"

"Yeah," he smiled.

They switched their glasses and each took a sip of the different flavours.

"Mmm," June said. "Yours is just as yummy."

"Same with yours," Floyd said.

After they finished their milkshakes, they were ready to order their dinner.

"What can I get you, guys?" a waiter said.

"I-" June began to say but Floyd put down her menu and said, "Do you trust me?"

"Yeah," she smiled, a little confused.

"We order two specials, please," Floyd said to the waiter.

"All right," the waiter said in a relaxed tone before leaving the two alone.

"No guy has ever done that for me before," June chuckled. "Getting a surprise meal for both of us."

"Not even Luke?"

"Nope," she smiled. "But that was cute. I'm definitely curious what you ordered for us."

"You'll see," he grinned confidently.

After twenty minutes of more fun conversation, their food arrived. June was awestruck. It was a crab stick dish with French fries and vegetables.

"And you're welcome," Floyd smiled.

"Wow," she said. "Just wow."

Floyd was right. The crab sticks were as excellent as he said they would be. They thought that their meal was extraordinary.

"And here's another favourite food of mine," June said, proudly, then laughed. "French fries."

Floyd grinned at her statement.

The two were walking around the beach after their delicious supper. June suddenly stumbled on something. She let out a gasp as she almost tripped. But Floyd caught her in time and they stayed in that dip position for almost too long. Both were breathing shakily and then he lifted her up.

"Thanks," she smiled, adjusting her glasses. "That was close." But she saw Floyd was approaching her closely. Both stared into each other's eyes and then their lips for a second. June then looked down at his feet.

He gently put a hand on her cheek and made her look at his eyes, hand still on her cheek. Both slowly leaned forward and made lip contact. June felt her whole body tinkling with electricity.

"I…" June said almost breathlessly after they broke away. "Haven't kissed a guy in a long time. Almost forgotten how to."

Floyd responded by kissing June again, this time with more passion. She wrapped her arms around his neck, and his arms went around her waist. Their foreheads touched each other.

"Wow," June said.

"Wow, what?" Floyd chuckled.

"Has anyone ever told you…you're a good kisser?" She smiled.

"I can say the same about you."

She laughed and they continued to make out during a gorgeous moonlit night. Their date was perfect.
