Thank you for reading! I don't own any of Black Butler! Please let me know if you enjoy!

The Duke of Westington scowled at the children who laughed as they chased each other around the magnificent room.

His large hand threatened to crush the heavy mahogany back of the upholstered chair his wife sat in, who also regarded the two noisy boys with a frown.

The palatial mansion that crowned the Duke's estate had seemed more like a prison than a home to her during the last, long twelve years that had made up their marriage.

"Now, now, boys….." The Duke chided his sons as the two brothers continued their play.

The Duchess of Westington, formerly known as Ciel Phantomhive, the former Earl's only living child, seemed more like an angry doll than a real woman.

Beautiful and striking from her lithe figure to her flawless, porcelain complexion, her large, sapphire eyes glimmered with irritation as she watched her sons as well.

The family had dressed in their finest on that cold December afternoon, all prepared to pose for a photograph.

The popularity of the novelty portrait method had swept through Victorian England like a viral fever the month before.

The small baby girl in Ciel's arms blinked as she raised a fist to her tiny mouth, her eyes as blue as her mother's while she curiously watched her older brothers play.

Across the opulent room, a maid stood with a tea tray.

Beside her, another stared blankly ahead, ready to assist.

There always had to be at least one more present to allay any suspicion….

Working the camera that had been purchased for that very occasion, the family butler narrowed his eyes as he prepared to take the shot his lady so desired.

The two boys nearly knocked over a vase as their play sent them tumbling into a nearby table.

"….Sebastian!" Ciel cried at last.

The baby whimpered at the sharpness of her tone, but Sebastian, the family butler, merely looked up.

"Yes, my lady?" He asked, his seductive voice as smooth as liquid chocolate.

Ciel didn't have to say anything else, as her eyes flickered to the boys, a smirk crossed Sebastian's thin lips.

Tall, devastatingly handsome, and surprisingly strong, Sebastian's striking looks and impeccable manners had garnered more than a few admiring glances from the Duke's guests over the years.

Ciel had made certain glances were all her butler's admirers had received, yet she had no reason to worry.

Sebastian was uninterested in anyone besides….

"Very well, then." He said calmly as he walked over, picked the two playing brothers up in seperate arms, brought them over, and sat them down in front of their mother, "Enough is enough…..Stand facing the camera with your chins elevated and your mouths straight. Do you understand, boys?"

"Yes, Sebastian." The older child answered.

"Yes, Sebastian!" The younger one chirped.

Ciel straightened her spine.

The Duke suppressed a yawn.

"Excellent." Sebastian replied as he gave the family a cordial smile before he disappeared behind the camera and announced, "There we are…Everyone ready….On 1…..2…and three!"

A burst of light flashed before a puff of smoke blew from the camera.

The Duke immediately left the room, eager to find more enjoyable pursuits since his obligation for the day had been fulfilled.

The boys instnatly resumed their rough play as the baby girl cuddled against her mother, who patted her tiny back.

While the other servants in the room became distracted as the boys rolled towards them, Sebastian gave Ciel a smug smirk, which she slyly returned with a coy frown.

Sebastian turned away and brushed his feathery, black locks out of his face before he began the process of tending the camera since the photo had been taken.

No one had ever drawn attention to the fact that all three of Lady Ciel's children had been born with hair as soft and dark as raven's wings.

…Yet the Duke himself was blonde.
