Eddard Stark had always prided himself on being a just and honorable man. He had been raised to uphold the values of his family and his kingdom, and he had always done so with pride. But on that fateful day, everything changed.

As Eddard's mind was consumed with thoughts of the war that raged on in the south. He couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. The Mad King's reign was becoming more and more unstable, and Eddard feared for the safety of his loved ones.

Lost in his thoughts, Eddard was caught off guard when a torch came flying towards him. The flame struck him square in the face, and he let out a blood-curdling scream as he fell from his boat and into the nearby river. As he struggled to stay afloat, he could feel his strength fading and his consciousness slipping away.

But just as he was about to succumb to the icy waters, he felt strong hands pulling him to safety. When he finally came to, he found himself in a small, rundown shack with mud caked to his face and body. The peasants who had rescued him had nursed him back to health, but the damage to his face was severe. He could feel the skin on one side of his face burned and scarred.

As he looked at himself in the small, cracked mirror, Eddard felt a sense of loss and despair wash over him. He was no longer the proud and handsome lord of Winterfell, but a disfigured and broken man. But as he took in his new identity, he felt a fire ignite within him. He was no alone any longer Eddard Stark had the Burned Wolf with him .

Determined to reclaim his honor and his place in the world, Eddard began to train with his sword once again. But instead of his finely crafted castle sword, he now used a simple blade that he had fashioned from scraps of metal he found in the peasants' home. He also chose pieces of old and worn armor, mixing and matching them with leather and bandages to create a makeshift armor that would protect him in battle and completed it with a traveling grey cloak .

With a new identity and a new purpose, Eddard set out on a journey to the North. Along the way, he passed through the Riverlands and crossed paths with two hedge knights. The tall, burly knight and the short, thin knight were immediately disturbed by Eddard's burned face, and when he didn't answer to his name, the burly knight grew suspicious.

But when the tall burly hedge night saw Eddard's half face that wasn't burned he recognized the long face and grey eye and brown hair that was described as Stark features for Eddard Stark who had a price on his head by the Mad King so given that both hedge nights where opportunist they tried to attack Eddard but before they could move on Eddard further, the Burned Wolf took control of Eddard's body. With his new strength and skill, he quickly disarmed the knights. However, the burly knight refused to back down and lunged at Eddard, who dodged the attack and retaliated by slicing off the knight's hand.

The short knight takes the chance to flee, he caught's Eddard's cloak and links it to a chain to his cloak before throwing him into the river. As the two knights shrugged and turned their backs, thinking that they had gotten rid of the Burned Wolf, Eddard swam back to shore and emerged from the water, bloodied and enraged.

With a chilling smile on his face, he announced himself with a simple word - 'Ladies.' The knights turned around to face him, but before they could react, Eddard had already dismembered the short knight and was now holding his sword to the short knight's throat.

'You are nothing but opportunistic scum,' Eddard snarled, his yellow eye gleaming in his burned face. 'But I am the Burned Wolf, and I will not be taken down by the likes of you.'

The burly knight tried to attack once more, but Eddard was prepared. He cut off the knight's fingers and then opened his wrist, leaving him to scream and writhe in pain. As the knight begged for mercy, Eddard smiled and said, 'Give my regards to the Stark enemies and tell them that the Burned Wolf will send many of their kind to meet their end.'

With that, he slit the knight's throat and stabbed the short knight one last time for good measure. He then took the burly knight's broad sword and left, his cloak billowing behind him as he walked away from the gruesome scene.

From that day on, Eddard Stark was no more. He was now the Burned Wolf, a fierce and vengeful warrior who would stop at nothing to protect his family and his kingdom from the enemies that threatened them. And as he continued on his journey, he knew that his new identity would strike fear into the hearts of all those who crossed his path.
