Bob: Katrina?

(Katrina turns and sees Bob at the door staring back at her with both a nervous and concerned look on his face)

Katrina: (Surprised) Bob?

Bob: (Weak chuckle) I guess I'm the last person you expected to show up.

Katrina: (Bitterly) What was your first clue?

Bob: (Sighs) I deserved that.

(Bob goes over to the hospital bed)

Bob: So...How are you feeling?

Katrina: (Dryly) That's an odd question to ask someone who's been in a coma for three whole months.

Bob: I'm sorry. I should have been sensitive about that.

Katrina: You should've been sensitive about a lot of things.

Bob: About the fight we had before, huh?

Katrina: Why do you think I don't want to see you?

Bob: Katrina, I think the first thing I should say to you the moment I came into the room was that...I'm sorry. I'm sorry that we had that argument and I'm sorry that I said all those things.

(Katrina glowers at Bob)

Katrina: Why did you? Do you know how much you hurt my feelings that day?

Bob: Katrina, the only reason I was so angry with you was because...well...(looks down) I thought that you were going to get back together with Johnny.

Katrina: (Surprised) What?

Bob: Don't you understand? I was never even crossed with you, it was Johnny. It was always Johnny. But...but you didn't give me a chance to explain that.

Katrina: What on earth gave you a crazy idea that I'd go back to Johnny?

Bob: I...I just assumed...

Katrina: Me and Johnny had our shot 2 years ago and it didn't work out. The guy cares more about his voice and hair than taking me out to dinner. (Scoffs) I could never go for someone like that.

Bob: Really?

Katrina: Absolutely. But...why did seeing me with Johnny get you so fired up?

Bob: Oh. Um. No reason. I...I just didn't want you forgetting about all our friends at Big Idea.

Katrina: I wouldn't do something like that.

(Tears begin filling Bob's eyes)

Katrina: (Concerned) Bob, what's wrong?

Bob: (Voice breaking) Katrina, when I saw that car run over you, I'd never been so scared in all my life.

Katrina: You...You were there?

Bob: (Voice breaking) I went right to your side and stayed with you till the ambulance arrived. Do...do you know how hard it was for me not knowing if I'd see you alive again?

Katrina: You were...worried about me?

Bob: Yes. We all were. But I was the most devastated. The most shocked. The most anxious. I felt so guilty that if I just turned around, I could've pushed you out of the way.

(Bob moves closer to the bed)

Bob: (Tearfully) When they told me you were in a coma, I spent as much time at the hospital that I possibly could. Sitting here at your side. Talking to you, reading to you, keeping my eyes out for any change.

Katrina: You did all that?

Bob: All I wanted was to see you open your eyes. I wasn't giving up on you till I was certain that you would.

Katrina: Bob, I...I don't know what to say.

Bob: You...you don't need to say anything, Katrina. I understand if you still want nothing to do with me. I shouldn't have treated you that way, then none of this would've happened in the first place.

(Bob looks down at the paper he's holding then back up at Katrina)

Bob: I also stopped by to give this to you. It's just lyrics from one of my favorite songs that made me think of you when you were lying here. It's also my goodbye to you.

Katrina: Goodbye?

Bob: I'm not gonna be in the band anymore and go back to my job at Mr. Nezzer's theatre. It's the best thing for us.

(Bob places the paper onto the bed then looks back up at Katrina then smiles a little)

Bob: I'd...I'd better go pick up Laura from school.

(Katrina nods then Bob goes over to the door then turns to Katrina)

Bob: I'd be happy to know how you're doing after you're able to go back home.

(Katrina nods again then Bob leaves the room then tears finally fill Katrina's eyes then she sniffles then exhales then looks down at the paper then picks it up then opens it up then her eyes widen when she sees it's lyrics from Tim McGraw's song 'Don't Take The Girl')

Katrina: (Quietly) What have I done to you?

Ellen: Hello?

Jimmy: Ellen, babe?

Ellen: (Hopeful) Jimmy?

Jimmy: It's me, Cupcake.

Ellen: Where are you?

Jimmy: I'm at the airport in Minnesota.

Ellen: Minnesota?

Jimmy: Yeah. Our flight got grounded cause of an oncoming storm.

Ellen: Oh, no. Do you think maybe they cancelled the meeting?

Jimmy: Probably scheduled it for tomorrow. It looks like I'm gonna be in California for an extra day.

Ellen: Oh.

Jimmy: How are you feeling though? How's our boy?

Ellen: (Giggles) I sent you that video of the baby kicking during your flight, silly.

Jimmy: I know but I just wanted to be sure.

Ellen: We're fine, sweetie, don't worry.

Jimmy: Hey, if you ever miss me, just imagine me holding you close and kissing you and talking to your belly and kissing it and telling you both how much I love you and then kissing and hugging you some more.

Ellen: (Sighs) Missing you already.

(Ellen gasps sharply)

Jimmy: (Concerned) Babe, what happened?

Ellen: Nothing. I just felt a twinge.

Jimmy: (Concerned) A twinge? Is the baby coming?

Ellen: No. It...it doesn't feel like it. I...

(Ellen gasps loudly in pain then lets out a small groan)

Jimmy: (Concerned) Sweetie, are you sure you're not in labor?

Ellen: N...

(Ellen groans loudly then doubles over)

Jimmy: (Panicked) Ellen babe, you're scaring me! What's going on?!

(Ellen looks down then gasps when she sees that the bottom of her dress is soaked)

Ellen: Jimmy? Is there any way you...you can get a plane back over to Bumblyburg?

Jimmy: (Panicked) Why? What's happening?

(Ellen groans)

Ellen: (Painfully) Because I don't want to have our baby without you.

Jimmy: (Panicked) Now?!

Ellen: (Painfully) Now!

Jimmy: (Panicked) O...okay. Everything's gonna be alright, sweetheart, I promise. Call Larry and Vicki and have them take you to the hospital. I'll...I'll try to make it back as fast as I can.

Ellen: (Groans) Just hurry!

Jimmy: I will. I love you.

(Ellen hangs up then continues doubling over. At the airport, Jimmy goes over to the reception desk)

Jimmy: Is there a flight to Bumblyburg opened?

Receptionist: Yes. But it won't be here for another hour.

Jimmy: (Panicked) I don't care! I need to get on that plane! I'm about to become a dad!

Mr. Nezzer: Larry?

Larry: What's up, Mr. Nezzer?

Mr. Nezzer: I need your help.

Larry: Anything. Just name it.

Mr. Nezzer: You already know that Esther's having our twins in there.

Larry: Uh-huh?

Mr. Nezzer: But Bob also asked me to fill in being at Katrina's side since he's temporarily coaching Petunia.

Larry: Right?

Mr. Nezzer: I really don't want to leave Esther alone, so if it's not too much trouble, can you stay with Katrina in my place?

Larry: You got it. I'll just tell Vicki it's gonna take a few more minutes before I can join her in the waiting room.

Mr. Nezzer: Thanks, pal.

Larry: Mr. Nezzer?

Mr. Nezzer: Yeah, Larry?

Larry; We all look out for each other, remember?

Mr. Nezzer: I remember, Larry.

Esther: (Calling out) Nebby! It hurts!

(Mr. Nezzer quickly turns to Larry)

Larry: Go ahead, go ahead, I've got this.

(Mr. Nezzer quickly goes back into Esther's room while Larry watches somewhat concerned)

Archibald: (V.O.) 'Ready to take that next step?'

(Petunia beams then she quickly grabs her coat then moves out of the classroom)
