"I think that we should just leave this thing." Kirito says to his help screen while hoping that the other players will agree with him.
He notices that the soldier that had spoken to him seconds earlier turned to look at him, but he wasn't alone as the soldiers that were with him all turned to look at him with shocked expressions.
"Sir if I may." the soldier says to him and Kirito nods allowing the man to speak.
"You are well in your right to order us to abandon the ship sir, but the men won't respect you for it." the soldier says to him but Kirito doesn't understand what the man is trying to say.
Sensing his confusion the soldier gives a small nod and starts to explain.
"Sir you and the other rescue teams went deeper into the ship than those of us in the salvage teams and you didn't find anyone, except for the animals that were already living here."
"These aliens only came here after the ship pieces were put back together and the ship gained power, the power that our World Ship is sharing with it."
"Normally I would agree with your decision sir and I would say that we should just let the alien ship float back into space, but after we fill it with explosives it goes back to being garbage."
"But sir these aliens attacked us, killed our people, and more importantly, they tried to kill you sir."
"If you order the retreat now, no one will ever listen to you and the only thing that you can expect after today, are the cold stares of every man and woman around you."
"Your orders will be questioned and eventually you'll either have to replace everyone with servitors or you'll have to work alone because people will try to kill you." the soldier finally stops explaining to him.
Kirito looks into the man's eyes, and he can see that despite how cold the man's brown eyes are, they are filled with worry. Kirito nods and tells the man to wait for the higher-ups to make their decision.
It doesn't take long for the Guild Leaders who heard the soldier's explanation to order him to keep exploring the alien ship, as they are about to send the salvage teams back in, but they aren't going to be alone.
Kirito wanted to ask the guild leaders what they meant by not being alone, but he stopped himself from asking anything when he heard the doors of Aincrad open.
He couldn't help but raise an eyebrow as several tanks drove into the alien ship, but they were alone, several servitors along with a few golems walked behind them.
They were followed by the salvage teas who carefully walked back into the ship, but their footsteps were un-even because the soldiers behind them were forcing them to walk faster.
Kirito watched as the salvage teams carefully walked back to the areas that they had been exploring before the aliens started attacking them, but they weren't alone.
Kirito watched as a mixture of soldiers, servitors, and golems now placed themselves between the people and the world around them.
While this was going on inside of Aincrad Asuna walked alongside what people had started to call her Honerd Guads.
She happily walked towards Yui's school, because today was the day that the kids would perform a play that they had been working on for over a month.
Asuna nearly tripped when the Ratling a man from a species of dwarfs stopped walking, she wanted to ask him why he had stopped walking when she noticed the tens air that surrounded him.
"It's quiet.' the ratling says to her, as he lifts his gun and starts to run to the side as if he was trying to draw the attention of something that Asuna couldn't see.
Asuna began to look around and she noticed that not only were things unusually quiet, but that none of the people, machines, or animals that should have been near the area were anywhere to be seen.
She carefully drew her swords as the Ogryn a man whose species was built like a tank but had the intelligence of a child walked in front of her.
She wanted to tell the man that she couldn't see if she was in danger if he was in front of her, but before she could say anything, the last of her guard a man from her guild placed himself behind her.
Her group carefully walked closer to Yuis school and Asuna needed to be forcefully restrained y her guild member when she saw the dead bodies of women and children.
"Why kill the wii ones, they's neva urt anyone." Asuna heard the Ogry say as he looked at the bodies of the dead children.
"This isn't right." she heard her guildmate say as he knelt next to the bodies of a woman who was still protectingly holding the body of an infant in her arms.
"Asuna none of these people are in the system. When anyone sets foot in Aincrda, the system logs their names and faces, but none of these people has an identification." her subordinate says to her.
'meaning that someone brought the bodies here." Asuna says to herself as she looks around and grows even more disgusted by what she sees around her.
Whoever had done this, had to bring the dead bodies of women and children and had lid them in so away that they looked as if they were trying to escape from something.
Asuna noticed the small figure of the ratling running past her group's location and closer to the location of the school, so she ordered her team to walk toward the school.
She didn't bother to stop walking, not even as she sent the guild leaders the images of what she had just found.
It wouldn't be long before Aincrad was locked down and the hunt for everyone and everything that wasn't supposed to be inside it began.
