The next morning, Wendy was sitting with her family in the kitchen, having breakfast. She had three younger brothers named Marcus, Kevin, and Gus. All three of them each had red hair just like their older sister. Then there was their father, Manly Dan. Manly Dan was one of the biggest men in Gravity Falls. Like the rest of his family, his hair color was of course, red. He also had a big red beard, and his chest and armpits were covered with red hair. He was a guy who rarely ever took any bullsh*t from anybody. He had anger issues, and has a bit of a tendency to breaks things after somebody does something to piss him off. One massive contributing factor to his could be the fact that his wife had passed away 5 years ago, and he was still not over her loss. Wendy loved every single member of her family, although they were constantly stressing her out. With how strong and tough Manly Dan was, he expected his children to be the same way as him. While he never abused his children, he made them work hard. He would constantly give them extremely tough jobs, and had them participate in activities that ranged from difficult, to downright dangerous. On the outside, Wendy has a tomboy. But on the inside, she was a very emotional kid living a very stressful life. During breakfast, Wendy was seriously considering asking her father about how he met her mother, so she could use that advice for her situation with Dipper. But she thought better of it, not wanting to cause her father any more emotional pain.

Later on in the day, Wendy was sitting on the couch watching Ducktective, when she received a call from her boss. "Wendy, we have a bit of a problem" said Stan. "Me and the kids just got arrested, i'm using my one phone call to ask you to bail us out." "Jesus Christ, why am I not surprised?" thought Wendy. "That guy has broken countless laws, it was only a matter of time before it caught up with him."

She road her bike down to the Gravity Falls county jail, and was greeted by the two law enforcement officers of the city. Sheriff Blubs, and Deputy Durland. They were the dumbest cops in the history of mankind. So many crimes were committed right in front of them, and they rarely ever noticed. The two were also a gay couple. "God damnit Corduroy, what the hell did you do this time?" asked Sheriff Blubs. "Actually, i'm here to bail out the Pines family" said Wendy. She then pulled out her wallet. "How much is this going to cost me?" "About ten bucks per person" replied Deputy Durland.

Soon Wendy and the Pines family were out of the jail, and Wendy was completely confused. "What did you guys even do to end up in there?" asked Wendy. "A failed attempt at counterfeit cash" said Mabel. "Oh and Dipper, if you wanna hang out sometime, give me a call" said Wendy. She then handed him a slip of paper with her phone number on it.

A few days later, Manly Dan was going fishing with the boys, while Wendy was faking sick to avoid going through another one of her crazy family activities. While her family was away, Wendy invited her friends over to watch an R rated movie. What she didn't anticipate, was then after her friends went home, she would be receiving a phone call, that would possibly change the rest of her summer.

Authors note: The concept of Wendy being stressed because of how rowdy her family can be, could have been a really good plot point. It's a shame this concept wasn't utilized more in the actual show.

In real life, Dipper, Mabel, and Stan would not immediately be off the hook after being bailed out. In real life, when you are bailed out of jail, you are put on parole until you are required to go to court, where a judge or jury then decides what your official fate is. Then again, this is the same town where marrying a woodpecker is legal, for some reason. The town of Gravity Falls has terrible law enforcement.
