I put periods in the empty spots where the spaces are because if I don't then FFN squishes all my paragraphs together.
I've tried everything. The sites formatting just hates me.

Ultima-owner: Inventory is never fun.
Dragonofthe: Like I said, the list at the end is for my convenience when writing. I will put the stories of Blake meeting his Pokémon in the bonuses though.
And I'm guessing your first language is Español?

-1 Day later-

Blake POV
.
"Look, you were closest to Drugal. As such I assume you know the inventory best." I tell her.
"No, that would be Drugal." Salinda says with a glare.
I finally found out her name by the way!
Drugal did inventory. And it's been three days since it has last been done. It's supposed to be done daily. Another day and I'm looking at an audit.
Not good for my first day. Drayden really knows how to light a fire under someone.
"I'm not letting him back without a formal apology." I tell her.
"You blasted pics of us all to everyone who works here!" She shouts.
"Shout again and you'll leave." I tell her. "You may not like me but the fact is you and him came after me. And paid the consequences. Like it or not, I'm your boss. Do the inventory."
She stares me down. Her face getting redder by the second.
"You have three seconds to leave before you're written up. Inventory is due by five." I tell her and go back to my papers.
Application forms actually.
Three.
Two.
One.
I look up and she's still glaring at me.
"Okay then." I say and slide the application forms back into their folder.
"So you'll let Drugal back." She says.
I press a button on my intercom.
"Can I get Ace trainer Bartholomew to my office please."
"What?" Salinda says with wide eyes.
"And will Salinda please report to me for a disciplinary hearing."
"What, I, I'm right here you jackass!" She shouts.
Any and all write ups, verbals, etc. Need to have a witness for professional reasons. Mostly to ensure due process and that there's nothing unsavory going on. Too many Gym Leaders have used their position to, coerce, those under them into doing things they don't want.
The Ace trainers are here for official league business. Make sure everything is running above board.
The hierarchy goes. Gym Leader, Static Trainers, Rotationary Trainers, Associates. With a side hierarchy from the league that goes. League Liaison, Ace Trainers.
We have five Ace's here. Though it's normally three per gym. There's five because of me and my new position as Gym Leader. Basically, they're keeping a Watchog's eye on me. To borrow a local saying.
It's to keep corruption to a minimum. Every league does it a little differently.
.
.
-4:30pm-
.
.
And now there's a full audit and security check!
Fuck!
"Okay, so there's nothing off with the recording equipment." Ace Terrance tells me. "So I can only surmise that this was a false alarm."
"Salinda, who did you have double check your work?" I ask as I keep myself calm.
"I was supposed to have someone double check?" She asks in a falsely innocent voice.
"Yes, Salinda, you were." I say after taking a breath.
"I didn't know." She says with a shrug. "I just noticed the intake and outputs were wrong and called a security check."
Hah! I can use that!
"Salinda." I say with a smile. "You need two trainer card ID's to activate the security terminal. So either someone helped you and you both did a poor job counting the inventory. Or you memorized someone else's six digit ID number and used it to access the terminal illegally."
Terrance slowly turns to Salinda.
"He is correct." Terrance says.
"You might not know this because you never bothered learning who your boss is." I say. "But before this, I was literally in the same position as you. A Static Trainer at Montenevera for a year. I know how the job works."
"Well, there's." She tries nervously.
"Who was it?" I ask. "Because this ends one of two ways. Either you tell me who help you and you both receive a disciplinary hearing and inventory duty for a month. Or you get arrested for illegal tampering of league property."
I pulled a good fourth of that punishment part out of my ass. Though seeing as Terrance has yet to say anything. I'm on the right track.
"Re, Reginald." Salinda finally concedes.
"Thank you." I say and press my intercom.
.
.
-Next Day, 6am-
.
.
"Ha, nothing beats a good cup." I say aloud as I place my cup down.
One of the best parts about this job? My room is attached to my office. And I'm allowed to modify it as I please.
Barring any extreme modification.
Same with the gyms décor. But I figured changing that less than a week in, when most here don't like or respect me was a bad idea.
My first order of business was getting a proper espresso machine in here for lattes and cappuccinos.
My day starts out at about six. I have two hours before the gym opens and a stack of paperwork to complete throughout the day.
*Knock* *Knock*
That would be Drayden. He shows up every morning around this time. He wakes up at five and walks here from his house on the other side of the city.
"It's open!" I say between sips.
He opens the door and walks into the room. Technically it was his room. But he never used it.
"Blake, I heard what happened yesterday." He says as he stands just past the door.
"Which part?" I ask.
"All of it." He says. "At this rate you'll be firing half the trainers here before the year is out."
Salinda is one disciplinary act away from her employment coming under review. In her five years she never got a single write up or even a verbal. At least none on record. Now she has two in one day. Getting three in a ninety day period calls for a review, so she's on very thin ice.
"If I have to rely on rotationary trainers for a while then so be it." I say calmly. "If they want me gone they're going about it the wrong way."
It's like I said before. If nothing else, I'll stay out of spite.
"Or, you could go about earning their respect." Drayden says.
"And how do I do that?" I ask with a raised brow.
"Well, I only know of two ways." He starts. "The way I did it. Through years of hard work."
"Option two?" I ask.
"Marry into the Village of Dragons." He says.
I take a moment to think on it.
"No." I say and toss my paper cup in the nearby bin. "Didn't you also do that?"
"After I earned their respect." Drayden clarifies.
"Fair enough." I say with a shrug. "Long way it is then.

Blake, 10 yr old POV
.
"And if you'll follow this way, you'll see us approach Naranja Academy!" The tour lady says.
'Stupid mom and dad.' I think as I walk at the back. 'Why couldn't they send me to the trainer school in Jubilife? Or Snowpoint? At least then I wouldn't have to deal with this weather.'
It's so much hotter here! I hate it! Mostly.
We pass the main square of Mesogoza. It has a nice fountain. A lot bigger than the one in Hearthome at least. And the sun makes it look like it's glittering.
"Giiimmm." I hear a small, sad sound.
Looking around. I see a small glimmer of a moving coin on the rim of the fountain.
Breaking off from the group. I head over to the fountain. Looking around for the sound I heard. I see a tiny little mon. Reaching for a gold coin in the water.
Deciding why not. I roll up my sleeve and reach into water. Spooking the little mon and just as he looks as though it's about to flee. It sees me pick up the gold coin out of the water. I'm about to hand it to the little guy.
"Blake!" I hear from behind me.
Before I can look behind me. My arm is grabbed by my tour buddy. A blonde girl the same age as me named Iono.
"Hey!" I say in annoyance. "I was doing something!"
"You can do what you were doing later!" She gripes. "If I lose you I get in trouble!"
Later that day, I would find that same mon in my pocket after the tour.

Scouring the highs and lows of Paldea to find enough golden coins.

Self assured in his own natural talent he took Solis and Glitter out to explore. It was not long before he got lost and ran into a territorial Bisharp. Solis fell to the Bisharp along with Glitter. That's when a miracle occurred and a Primeape showed up. After the Primeape beat the Bisharp, Blake took it back to be healed. And got detention for two weeks. It was this instance that gave Blake a reality check and showed him that talent is nothing without hard work.
Strategies
Bork is Blakes answer to dark and normal types. With Bork being unusually calm for an Annihilape, on the surface. Bork waits and cages his rage. Until the right opportunity to inflict the most pain arises. Blake has to be careful with this, if he lets Bork store too much rage he becomes feral.
Bork was a member of Blake's Sinnoh League team.

After a battle that killed one of the other Gym Trainers in the chaos. Blake finally took down the territorial Froslass. And found its wounded Snorunt child. Yuki is that child.
Strategies

Item: King's Rock
Moves:
Phantom Force
Wave Crash
Scale Shot
Aqua Jet
How they met
When venturing near the great crater of Paldea on his Treasure Hunt. Blake ran into a school of oddly colored Basculin's. Believing them to be a rare, undiscovered regional variant. He caught the school and sent them home for Professor Rowan to study. Only for Rowan to find the method to evolving them. Something the red and blue Basculins are entirely incapable of. Blake requested one of the Basculins back and trained it himself and went through the arduous task of evolving it.
Fun Fact: Due to not being able to find any more schools of White-Striped Basculins. They were not given the regional variant moniker.
Strategies
Wisp is another of Blake's powerhouses. Wisp is deceptively calm, waiting and moving slowly, even allowing itself to be hit before catching opponents off guard with massive bursts of speed.

Strategies
Lake is prankster down to his core. Using status move to debilitate and then using moves that work off of those.
Lake was a part of Blake's Sinnoh League team.

A/N
I have another fic based on the Worm series by Wildbow.
It's over 350k+ words.
.
I imagine Acerola to sound like her Pokémon Masters voice as opposed to her Pokémon Series voice.
Christine Marie Cubanos is perfect for Acerola in my opinion.
