"Ahhhh, that was delicious!" the floating fairy exclaimed with joy as she rubbed her tummy. The blond-haired boy smiled at his companion.
He turned around and walked towards the counter. He rummaged through his bag and pulled out Mora to pay for their meal. An object fell out of his bag. And Sara noticed it.
"Traveller, you dropped something!" she called out, catching his attention. The fairy picked up the object and looked at it curiously.
"Wow, its you, Aether. You looked different from this photo," the fairy exclaimed, holding up the photo. It was his precious photo that had fallen out of his bag. The fairy handed the photograph back to him. Sara was curious about the picture and looked over Aether's shoulder to get a better view.
The fairy put a finger to her chin and said, "But who's the woman and two children in the photo?" she said, looking at the woman and two children in the picture. Short grey hair, purple eyes, and a gentle smile adorned the woman's face, while the two children had gold eyes and grey hair. A boy and a girl, both with a striking resemblance to the woman, the boy sitting on Aether's lap while the girl on the woman's lap, both children smiling happily. While Aether and the woman were sitting close to each other, their hands were intertwined, smiling. They like the perfect picture of a loving family.
The fairy and Sara were looking at the photo with awe and admiration. They couldn't help but feel a sense of warmth and happiness radiating from the picture.
The blond boy smiled. Looking at the photo brought back cherished memories.
"The woman looks so beautiful, traveller," Sara said, hinting at jealousy of the woman's beauty. On the picture
Paimon nodded in agreement. "Paimon agrees that she is indeed stunning," she said. "You look so different here, Aether," Paimon added, comparing the picture to Aether's current appearance. "You looked tall and mature in this photo," Paimon observed. "But what's your relationship to these three here?" Paimon asked, pointing at the other people in the picture.
Aether looked at the photo for a moment before responding, "Those three are my wife and children, Paimon." Aether responded with a smile.
The two froze in a moment of silence. looking at Aether with surprise, before both of them reacted, "EHHHH, YOU HAVE A WIFE AND CHILDREN?!" Both screamed in unison, unable to believe what they had just heard. Aether panicked and shushed them. I looked around to see if anyone had overheard their outburst. Thankfully, nobody seemed to have noticed.
He looked both of them in the eyes and said, "Please, keep this to yourselves." They nodded silently, understanding the gravity of the situation.
"But Aether, why are you not telling the others?" Paimon said, looking at her companion, scratching his head with a sheepish expression on his face.
"I'm still not ready to tell them, Paimon," Aether replied. Chuckled awkwardly, "Besides, I'm not worried about telling the guys; they might tease me about not telling them I'm married and have children, but I don't know about the girls. They might have a different reaction," he said nervously, unsure of how they would take the news.
Sara understood him. Paimon made an oh sound and nodded sympathetically.
"Oh yeah, all the girls in five nations like you," Paimon whispered. Sara couldn't help but feel sorry for him. She knew the girls here were in love with him, and how would they react to him already being married to someone else?
Aether winched, knowing the girls would be heartbroken and angry at the revelation. They had all fallen for his charm, and now their hearts were about to be shattered. It was a situation he never wanted to be in, but there was no way to avoid it now. A certain girl in Inazuma would kill him if she discovered the truth. Especially a certain purple-haired cat girl in Liyue will kill him if she discovers the truth.
"Please keep it a secret, you two," he pleaded, bowing his head. The two nodded in understanding and promised to keep his secret safe.
"Don't worry, traveller, your secret is safe with us," Sara reassured with a smile. Paimon nodded in agreement.
Aether looked up at them with gratitude and relief as he put the photo back in his bag and proceeded to pay for their meals. Sara received a generous tip from Aether as a token of his appreciation. Sara thanked Aether for the generous tip and wished him a pleasant day.
Before Aether and Paimon left, Sara stopped him and asked, "What are your wife and children's names, traveller?" Sara said, and Paimon agreed that she forgot to ask him their names, eager to know more about Aether's family.
Aether smiled and replied, "My wife's name is Stella, and my children's names are Caelus and Stelle," he said with a warm smile.
Sara grasped her hands together and said, "Your wife is beautiful, and your children have such lovely names." Sara's eyes sparkled with admiration. "They must bring so much joy to your life," she added.
Aether nodded, his smile growing wider. "They definitely do," Aether replied, his happiness evident in his eyes as he thought about how blessed he was to have such a loving family.
As Aether and Paimon waved goodbye to Sara, they headed towards the adventurer's guild to prepare for their next quest.
"You have a lovely family, Aether," Paimon said, smiling warmly at his friend.
He patted her head. "Thanks, Paimon, now let's go what Katheryne has commissioned with us," Aether replied, eager to find out what Katheryne has commissioned them for."
"I can't wait to see how much mora we'll be rewarded with," Paimon exclaimed, excited as she floated towards adventure guild Aether.
Behind them, they didn't notice that an electro-purple eye was silently watching them from the shadows. Before it closes and disappears into the darkness,
Meanwhile, in Xianzhou, Luofu. Inside the apartment, two people are looking at the table with a worried face.
"Caelus, what are we going to do? My mom is going to kill us," said the black-haired foxian, looking at the grey-haired boy with worried eyes.
"Let's calm down, Qingni, and think of a solution together," replied Caelus, placing a comforting hand on Qingni's shoulder. Gold eyes are looking at green eyes, assuring her with a smile that everything will be alright.
Qingni nodded, feeling a sense of relief wash over her. Both of them looked at the object.
On the table was a pregnancy test kit. Two lines appeared, indicating a positive result. They were going to have a baby.
"Right now, let's think about how we are going to explain this to Madam Yukong without killing me," Caelus said. Imagine the wrath that Madam Yukong would unleash upon him for getting her daughter pregnant.
"Especially, she didn't like me very much to begin with," Caelus added, feeling a sense of dread wash over him. "When I made eye contact with her, she asked me if I happened to know a person named Aether," he said, sitting down on the couch.
She sat down next to him, leaned her head against his shoulder, and said softly, "And you said yes, you know him, and you told her he is your dad." He nodded in confirmation.
"It seems Father visited Xianzhou a few years ago and knew your mother, and what did my father do that made Madam Yukong angry with him?" he said with a blank expression. Looking at the walls of the room.
Qingni patted his head and said, "Don't worry, I'm sure mom will like you." The boy smiled, feeling reassured by Qingni's words.
Until a knock at the door and the voice they knew frozen them in place, their hearts pounding with fear, both of them started to shake uncontrollably.
"Qingni, are you there?" the voice called out, sending chills down their spines. "I have something to discuss with you," the voice said, causing Qingni and Caelus to exchange a terrified glance. Both of them stand up from their seats, panicking Caelus, putting on his pants, and looking where his socks and jacket are. Qingni, on the other hand, quickly rushed to change her pyjamas into proper attire. Caelus knocked a lamp off the side table in his haste.
"Yukong heard it and knocked on the door again. "Qingni, are you ok? Is everything alright? "Her voice was filled with concern.
Qingni responded, "Yes, I'm fine. Just a minor accident with the lamp," she said, helping Caelus up, but Qingni tripped over with the cord and crashed on top of him, knocking them both to the ground.
Yukong heard it and said, "Qingni! I'm opening the door right now!" Qingni was about to shout, but the door suddenly swung open, revealing a surprised Yukong standing there with a worried expression on her face. Before Yukong's expression changed, looking at her daughter and Caelus on top of him, both of them were starting to shake uncontrollably. Until Yukong eyes landed on the table and saw the pregnancy test kit lying there with two pink lines.
She turned and smiled darkly, closing her eyes and summoning her bow. "You have 10 seconds to explain yourself, Trailblazer," she said, her voice filled with fury and her bow aimed at Caelus.
Caelus was sweating bullets as he stammered, desperately searching for words to justify his actions. But his mind went blank, and all he could do was stare helplessly at the enraged mother in front of him. Before he could utter a word, she released her arrow.
On the shogun's window, two figures looking out the city, an explosion could be seen in the distance. A figure jumped out of the window, landing safely on the ground, and proceeded to run. And another figure jumped out after him while shooting her bow at him. The figure's arrow missed its target, narrowly grazing his shoulder.
As the two people watched from afar, the person besides the shogun spoke. "Was that Caelus and Madam Yukong jumping out the window chasing after him? said the boy, looking at the scene.
"It seems like Madam Fu Xuan was right about her foreseen prediction," replied the person besides the boy.
"Should we stop them? They are causing chaos in the city and causing damage," replied the boy, concern filling his voice.
"No need, Yanqing; I will pay all the damages. Let's just wait and see how the young Trailblazer handles this," said the person besides the boy, with a hint of amusement in their tone.
The boy nodded. "If you say so, General Jing Yuan." The boy nodded, acknowledging General Jing Yuan's authority and trusting his judgement.
As Caelus continued running through the city, dodging the arrows behind him, he could feel the adrenaline pumping through his veins, fueling his determination to escape his girlfriend's mother, who had been chasing him relentlessly for the past hour. He knew he needed to find a way to calm her down and explain that he would take responsibility for impregnating her daughter.
"Mister Yang, Miss Himeko, Stelle, March, Dang Heng, Father, please save me!" he shouted desperately in his head, hoping that someone would come to save him.
