The camera zooms back in on Jeff, the crowd cheering in the background.

"Welcome back to the season finale! After what you all just saw, I'm sure the Li fans are disappointed..and the Daisy fans are thrilled!"

A mixed reaction erupts from the crowd. Everyone has their favorites.

"We'll see how they like it when they come out here. You know, we've been in this situation before. Drax having to pick between his game alliance, and pre-game alliances. Cyrax having to pick between his game, and his clan. Now, we have Daisy choosing her own game, or her friendship with Li." Jeff points out. Yeah..that has happened!

"This game isn't just about conflict with others, it's about that conflict within yourselves. Some people come in completely different than when they leave. Some for the better, and some for the worst."

True.

"It's crazy how both man and machine, have broken their mold. Rarely do we get robots that have the conflict, or people that play so ruthlessly. We'll see what conflict happens next, as the season finale rolls on!"

The camera pans over to the cheering crowd, before fading back to the game…

Merged Tribe

Night 37

The final four arrive at camp, and lean their torches on the beloved Torch Tree.

"I'm wondering why you flipped." Cyrax gets straight up with Daisy. "Why turn on your strongest alliance this late?"

"Since you're straight, I'll be straight back: people always thought I was her sidekick. If we went to the end, she gets all the votes I could get." Daisy explains, notable stress on her face.

Daisy: Here I am. Last of my tribe…

Daisy: Did what I had to do, but I still feel like crap! She promised to take me to the end, and I promised her, but I couldn't hold my end up. Ugh..if I can still get her vote, that's nice, but if my people start slamming me, I don't know what I'll do.

While she sits alone and gets her emotions out before a big day, Cyrax tends to the fire.

He has thoughts of his own.

Cyrax: Daisy saw Li as the front runner, and sought to separate herself as much as she can. Her biggest problem is that she's not used to stabbing people in the back. She did it, so she has that killer instinct..but if she wants to win she must own it. Don't insult the jury's intelligence.

What about the cyborg himself?

Cyrax: As for me, another immunity is my best chance. In the event I lose, Daisy's a fresh body to throw under the bus. She may not be the biggest threat, but I can make her sound like one.

In the ocean, Dark Samus and Monty are relaxing before they have to drift off.

"Daisy made a move. It's adorable how she doesn't recognize it's too late." The clone says, being pompous about her desired final three. "She destroyed her friendship with Li, just to get crushed under my feet..OUR feet. It's the new normal for her."

"Damn. You're a nasty person."

She sighs, running into this talk again. "Again with this Montgomery…who said I was human?"

"I know you aren't. You're some demented alien."

"Do you actually think that pitch is going to help you? I've kept you around for a reason. What have you done that hasn't involved me? Lose challenges?" She swims closer. "You don't have a chance."

The gator clicks his tongue. "Rocket was right."

"He has the wrong idea. It's not about friendships. This is a cruel game, and I'm going to play it how it's meant to be!" Her voice raise is heard by the other two. "Since we both have our best shot agaisnt each other…let's save this nonsense for the final."

The gator just swims back to shore. "You're on thin ice."

Monty: They wanna call her "cold" and "calculated." Bitch please she don't have subtle bone in her body. Any skills she had, has been taken by the island.

Cut to Samus' confessional, where she doesn't have any anger on her face.

Dark Samus: He'll come back. He always does. Without me, he doesn't have any chance to win. If anything..he should be thanking me for sparing his life in the game. I'm going to own him.

Immunity Challenge

Day 38

The sun is blaring, and that heat is coming. Perfect condition if you want someone to work for this last win.

"Come on in!"

The final four enter, to see a hard idol and four sets of stumps around it. Jeff's standing there in his usual getup, with the stand right next to him.

"Cyrax.."

The cyborg unhooks that necklace and hands it back. He's hoping to get it back a third time.

Jeff hooks that necklace back on the stand, and faces the four. "For the last time, immunity is back up for grabs. Today's challenge is one you should know: Hands on a Hard Idol. You'll use both feet to balance on two pieces of wood. After your feet are on, you'll have to hold onto an idol for as long as you can."

Oh so it's the "Africa" version this time.

"Last person hanging on wins immunity, and has a guaranteed spot at the Final Tribal Council. Take your spots, and we'll get started…"

The four are on those pieces of wood.

"Everyone's in position..and this challenge is on."

They are on the slim side, so Monty curls his toes to keep himself up.

"This challenge looks much easier on T.V. It's not fun in real life."

"You're tellin me.." Monty grunts, trying not to teeter this early. His big feet might be a disadvantage in this one.

A good ten minutes pass, and everyone's still on. That suns right on them, and sweats dripping down everyone except for Cyrax. His suit is regulating the temperature for him.

Monty feels sweat roll down. "How am I sweating? I'm a freakin' robot!"

"This sun doesn't care." Jeff answers, getting to relax at the side. Lucky for him.

A half-hour passes, and nobody's dropped. It's easy to see some exhaustion hit though. Daisy's constantly adjusting her hand on that idol, and turning her feet. Monty's feet are just wobbling in general.

So far, Cyrax and Dark Samus seem fully focused. Like statues.

"Monty..Daisy both struggling. Will we get our first drop?"

.

.

.

"Can't take it no more." Monty steps off. "I swear Jeff if you tease me again.."

"I don't have the energy either. You're out, take a seat next to me."

The two hosts (of different competitions) sit next to each other, watching the others struggle. It must feel good to actually sit down after harming your feet.

Another half-hour passes, and it's been a total hour since the challenge started. None of the three have yet to step off or let their hands slip….

It's now a total hour and a half. None of the three will budge yet. Fatigues coming sooner or later, but it's a matter of when, and if they can take it.

One whole hour later. A total of two and a half hours in..and they are still hanging in there. Monty let's a yawn out. "When's someone gonna drop?"

Jeff looks at Monty like he just killed someone. "They are fighting for their life in the game. You can't expect this to end because you want it to."

"You got anything else to do but sit here?"

Jeff shakes his head.

"Damn."

"You'll just have to be patient."

While the gator suffers, the three left are hanging on for dear life. Anyone can drop at any time.

THREE and a HALF hours in, and they are still in. This win could mean everything to them.

For (Dark) Samus, she'll feel validated that her game has worked. Nobody can touch her.

For Daisy, that's more credit for her, and shows that Man can hold their own even with the bad start.

For Cyrax, that's a million dollars.

Nobody's shaking like crazy…but Daisy's hand slides off the idol. She's out.

"Daisy, you're done."

She shakes her arm, trying to get that feeling back. She's been up there for so long she just falls to her knees.

"It's so over.."

She and Monty have no choice but to watch one of Cyrax or D Samus win immunity. For Cyrax, it will be a third. For that Samus, it will be her second. It doesn't matter who wins, someone's taking home the bacon again.

It's a matter of who..

Cyrax: Samus winning makes this the worst timeline. Giving the unpredictable player power doesn't bring good for anyone.

Dark Samus: I didn't come here to lose in the end. It's better that their false hero doesn't claim this necklace.

FOUR hours in, and neither of them drop. Minute by minute, both finally start to have a little teeter, a little totter after that. It was a strong opening for them, but someone has to stay strong to win, and the runner up must get weak enough to lose.

It's not a fun struggle to have.

One on one, the cyborg, and that villainous clone. Someone's punching their shot to the Final Tribal Council.

.

.

.

.

Cyrax has to step off.

"Samus wins individual immunity, guaranteed final three."

The total time was four hours, and thirty-six minutes (4:36:00).

Jeff comes to her, and hooks that necklace around her. She's grinning under that mask, recognizing the power she has this late. She's got a seat guaranteed, she and Monty, even though they can't stand each other, get to pick who sits with them.

Daisy and Cyrax just have to convince them who's better to sit with.

Jeff faces the final four. "Congratulations Samus, you're going to the Final Tribal Council. As for the rest of you, someone's getting cut one day short, and will become the last member of our jury. Head back to camp, I'll see you tonight."

The four walk back to camp, and a couple know it's do or die time.

Daisy: I'm giving him a run for his money, whether he likes it or not.

Cyrax: Tonight, the story of Man ends. I'll be the one to write the final chapter.

Merged Tribe

Cyrax, Daisy, Dark Samus, and Monty

The four arrive at camp, and well..nobody really praises anyone. There's no need because Dark Samus is already satisfied.

Just ask Monty.

Monty: Samus is going to be full of it after that dub. When isn't she?

Cut to her confessional.

Dark Samus: I'm the Executioner. I get to choose who gets decapitated when the night ends..and they'll beg me not to.

Someone check on her. Seriously.

It takes no time at all for people to make their arguments. Cyrax gets the chance first with her.

"Don't underestimate her. She has four locked votes. If I'm sent to the jury? It'll be five, and she wins. Her story is too impressive to look away from." Cyrax calls out.

"She's not very strategic. She just followed Li the whole game."

"..and took her out to prove herself." Cyrax counters. "She doesn't have to be strategic to win. All she needs is to win them over, and if we're being honest: she has more charm than any of us."

"Mhmm."

"Social skills matter the most."

The clone takes his words in, but is stuck on one thing.

Dark Samus: If he's not voting for me in the end..I don't need his vote anyway. But if Daisy brings me the same argument…

She slams her fist into the ground.

Dark Samus: That tells me all I need.

She lets the cyborg keep going. "You saw the jury. They were impressed with her move. Your gameplay may not compare."

"What's the benefit of keeping YOU over her?"

"I have more enemies. Sektor is voting for you. Li may vote for you. You have a better chance sitting next to me." Cyrax is trying, even downplaying himself to get a seat. He doesn't know whether his plan is working or not, because that Samus is still in thought.

A confessional airs with his.

Cyrax: I fabricated the details. I may have enemies, but I don't see a world where the five of Man vote for her to win. If she believes my lie, then I will use this moment as a weapon.

Daisy gets her turn next, meeting the Samus in the deep blue sea. Not all the way out there. Just waist/shoulder length water.

"He's going to stack us if we keep him around. He's got two people going to bat and I won't lie..he could get all the Man's on his side. That's six, he's locked, he needs to go." Daisy pleads, clinching her shoulder. "I know we hate each other but let's be real, my one move can't win me the game."

"He still has more enemies…"

"Like ONE. He's still going to eat!"

The clone faces her, but the princess can't see her eyes so she has no way to tell. "Fascinating…"

Daisy: Cyrax is literally going to win! You can send ME a to the jury and he's still winning! I turned on Li so I could show the jury what I've got, and it's so on brand for her to wreck me again. If after ALL THIS, Cyrax gets me out, then congrats to him, he deserves it.

Before Tribal, the final four go to grab their torches. Monty's leading the charge, while Daisy and Cyrax hang back.

"Welp it's me or you." Daisy says.

"Are you looking for a fight?" Cyrax asks, tilting his head.

"Have to bury you tonight."

"Hm. I'll do the same."

Cyrax: One of us will fall short of the throne. The other will take it.

Tribal Council

Night 38

The final four enter Tribal Council. Jeff's waiting for them in his usual spot at the podium. They've got their torches in hand and hit the fire pit, where they light them up.

"Dip your torches in the fire. Fire represents your life, once it's gone…so are you."

They take a seat on the stumps provided and set their torches in those holes. The fifth tribal of the merge is set to begin, and someone's going to be joining Rick, Drax, Sektor, Silver Sonic, Ulala, Rocket, and the newest member of the jury: Li.

When they see Dark Samus with that necklace, Sektor's the only one with a comment. "Good.."

Jeff takes a seat of his own, and Tribal's officially begun. "Alright. It's the final four, Samus has the immunity necklace and three of you are vulnerable. Monty..you nervous?"

"Nah."

"Why?"

Monty just points to Daisy and Cyrax. "There's bigger problems than me. Me and Samus may bicker but we'd be dumb to let them slide by..especially when we gotta TAKE one of 'em all the way."

"Daisy, he just said you're a target. When it comes to your place, what do you think the best move is?"

"Send Cyrax home. Rocket was just sitting here calling out everything he's done. He uses idols in new ways, knows how to get on everyone's good side, and even throws his vote away! Nobody wants to do that and he does it..and it works out! He's thinking levels above a lot of people, and he's gotta go!" She pleads.

"Cyrax, do you agree with her assessment?"

"She has her points, but mine are being looked over." He looks her direction. "She has four votes on the jury, and will gain another if I go home."

"You have literally EVERYONE. Silver, Rocket, and I know MY people are rooting for you too. That's more votes than I'D get!" Daisy exclaims. "I'm not letting you get to the end, and If they do, they did it to themselves." She crosses her arms after the clap back.

Cyrax can clap back too. "You're story is too good. The lone survivor of a demolition, climbs the ranks, takes control, blindsides players along the way, and still lives to tell the tale."

"You literally broke your clans habit, transformed into some god player, and made good with everyone. Do you know how much support you really have?" Daisy asks, looking at him like he's crazy. "If WE went to the end you'd still beat me!"

"If we went to the end, it would be 5-4. Your four tribemates, and Sektor to spite me."

"Just because they are my friends, doesn't mean they'll pick me over you..and from watching how they react, they are definitely more impressed with you." Daisy points out, but the cyborg wags his finger. "You just blindsided your closest ally and they ate it up. Your moves are fresh on their minds."

"Yeah but you have way more to show." Daisy claps back. "Hey Samus, did Rocket get that idol himself?"

"No. Sektor gave it to him, he gave it to Rocket, and betrayed Sektor." She confirms, and Daisy jumps on that. "He made one of the biggest moves I've ever seen, and none of us knew until now."

The jury's talking to themselves.

"Really? Hm. He's a perfect rep." Silver S. says.

"He's a beast. A smart beast which makes him scary to fight with." Rocket adds.

One of Cyrax's lights blink. "So we're doing this. Hey Samus. Can you confirm who initiated the Li betrayal?"

"Daisy came up to me and wanted her biggest competition gone."

Back to jury, Rick turns to Li. "You buying it?"

"I need to hear it from Daisy herself."

Samus' spills have put even more reason to vote both of them out. She still has to sit by one of them.

Daisy half-smiles. "Cyrax…why are you such a good speaker?"

He doesn't know what intent is behind those eyes. "It's apart of me."

"Hm…well its a part anyone will struggle with at the end. But good luck."

Jeff sees this as a time to cut back in on their business. "There's been a lot of back and forth, which..I always like." Jeff admits with a grin. "We'll see who wins this exchange, because it is time to vote. Samus, you're up first."

She heads to the booth.

Dark Samus: You've burnt a bridge with me, and keep trying to repair it. Tonight, it falls beneath your feet. (?)

Cyrax: I've seen your ruthless side ever since Drax's betrayal. If I'm going home, you have my vote. (Daisy)

Daisy: I sniffed you out weeks ago, and nobody wanted to do anything about it. I'm taking it into my hands. (Hyrax)

After voting, they get back to their stumps. It's Jeff's move.

I'll go tally the votes…" he goes to retrieve the voting urn. Cyrax and Daisy watch. Nobody's come for them until the end, or VERY end in Daisy's case. Both are so close to potentially winning, but somebody has to go.

Once Jeff fetches that urn, he heads back to the podium, and places it there.

"Once the votes are read, the decision is final. The person with the most votes will be asked to leave Tribal Council immediately. I'll read the votes.." Jeff opens the lid, and pulls out four parchment.

Daisy and Cyrax can only look, knowing one of them will get caught at the end.

"First vote.."

.

.

"Cyrax."

.

.

"Daisy."

.

.

"Cyrax. That's two votes Cyrax, one vote Daisy, one vote left…"

Cyrax already has a hand on his torch.

"Fifteenth person voted out, and the eighth and final member of our jury, Cyrax. Bring me your torch."

He raises that torch, but gets stopped by a hug from Daisy. "It sucks to see you go."

"I'll be fine. Focus on tomorrow." Cyrax says, bottling his emotion as he sets that torch down in front of Jeff.

"After thirty-eight days. Cyrax.."

Jeff raises that snuffer.

"The tribe has spoken."

SNUFF

"Time for you to go."

Cyrax disobeys his orders and turns to the final three. "I'll be stopping by Gator Golf."

"Hell yeah!" Monty shouts, getting a few laughs from the jury.

"Take care."

As Cyrax leaves, Sektor is muttering behind his back. "Why is he so weak?"

"Social game ain't weak." Rick chimes in, with a disapproving look.

Once Cyrax is out of view, Jeff turns to the final three: Daisy. Dark Samus. Montgomery Gator. Eighteen came in but they are all that's left. "Congratulations, you have made it all this way to the final three. Tomorrow, you'll have a chance to convince the jury why they should vote for YOU to earn the title of Sole Survivor."

Excitement. Anxiety. Nervousness. All of that emotion flows through the three. It doesn't matter if it's all in one, or just one in all, it's valid to get butterflies.

"Head back to camp, we'll see you tomorrow."

The three grab their torches and walk out. Daisy stays behind and winks at the jury, stirring a little something up before she leaves. She, (D)Samus, and Monty have to make sure they don't slip up in a horrible way.

People have choked at the end before. Can it happen again? They should all hope not.

Cyrax's Final Words

Cyrax: My experience has pushed me further away from my clan. I consider that a blessing. Ignoring the human instinct and relying on technology won't get you very far in these games, and life itself. Species didn't need enhancements to evolve, and they don't need them to win Survivor. I'll admit that Daisy, or even Samus have an opportunity to claim my vote. It's about how they perform when it matters the most.

Cyrax and Daisy fought to stay, but in the end, Cyrax got taken down at the end, in a 3-1 vote. There's alot to cover about Cyrax. He started out on Megatron's side, reluctant because of all the personalities. He got comfortable around players like Gazelle, Clank, and Rocket more, but he didn't really start to take action until he got time away from his clan. That swap ended up helping him in the long run.

At the merge, he played all sides, playing triple agent and throwing his own vote away to cover his tracks. His biggest adversity was Sektor, but he was so unlikeable they chose to support Cyrax over him. He had some moves as well, and I'm sure Rocket told the jury what they were. He could have won, and if he sat next to the right people, would have. He fell just short, and it was optimal from the rest to stop him.

Well, the end is near ladies and gents. Next chapter, we get to check in with the final three, and hear from (most of) the castaways that fell this season! Ticket out, I'll see you there ;)
