Chapter Twelve
Murphy didn't know what to say at first, this went against everything his religion had taught him but one hand he believed her and still wanted to be with her. He just needed some time to come to terms with what she told them. Conor on the other hand didn't care if she was a Banshee in human form, he had come to look her as a sister. Okay maybe not a banshee more like a Fairy who chose to live a human life, "I have so many questions but first of all can you show us something?" Conor asked like a giddy child on Christmas morning.
Mia just laughed and stood up "Now this took me nine months of studying to do, three months to find my form and another six to bond with my form." She said before shifting into a black panther right before their eyes. They both jumped when one minute she was standing in human form and the next looking like a bigger version of Morgain, Murphy held out his hand as if to see if it was okay to pet her. She nudged his hand against her forehead as a sign he could pet her if he wanted to, she didn't have a name yet; she was waiting to show James before she named herself. After a few minutes of kitty love she changed back to her natural form, "I can't really perform anything else due the fact I broke my wand before leaving England; if I was going to live completely muggle, I no longer needed my wand. I wasn't going to be tempted to use magic by keeping my wand on my person, I can go and get a replacement if I choose to, but I see no reason too.
"I want to live as close to a normal life as possible, if I have children and they start to show signs of Magic then I will tell them the truth but only if they promise not to tell anyone the secret. I guess I could make it a family secret that way they have no choice not to tell anyone, I really hope I haven't scared you off Murphy. I really care about you and knew it was time to tell you my secret, they other's know that I am telling you, my story. Maybe if you want to know why they each left they will tell you if you ask them, but I won't. Please keep this between us, I don't need Rocco or someone else with a big mouth to find out. It might get back to the ones we ran from and everything we have worked hard will be naught.
"Now I was told that it's time for the other set of Twins in my life to come to America, I am warning you now, don't eat or drink anything give you unless you see me eat it first. They have a joke product that turns you into a giant duck for a few seconds, they have another that makes your tongue swell up. They have other products as well; some are safe, and some are not; they own a Joke shop back in Wizarding London. To be honest it's been boring without them around, I am not sure if they are going to continue to live fully in the Wizarding World or live as muggles like the four of us." Mia said as she stretched her back, being in cat form for even just a few minutes also had her arching her back.
Murphy just sat there in silence of course he wasn't much of a talker to begin with but this time he was sitting there going over everything just told them in his head. He knew that she was still Mia, or should he say Hermione underneath it all, the same girl he fell in love with in the first place. The only difference was her age and the fact that she was a witch, well her age wasn't really a problem either. She said she took an aging potion that was permanent which she really was 22, the witch thing he could live with since she said she had gone completely all things muggle. So, what was the problem, well it really wasn't a problem since it wasn't just her secret to tell so he couldn't be mad at her for keeping it from him.
"I have a question, do you except your kids to be like you?" Murphy asked. Mia just smiled, "To be honest I am not sure, they might be born squibs for all I know. I do know if I married a magical then there was a highly likely price that they would be, I do know that if they are I would stand by them in whatever choices that they made in life. From if the want to go to Magic school or stay completely muggle, it's their choice; I hope that my future partner would accept that." She said.
Just before the questions could continue Frank came running in, "Oh she must have told you than, well I would love to stick around but I just came to tell Mia that I will be back in a couple of days. I am off to meet my fiancée's family in New York, wish me luck because I am going to need it." Frank said with laughter in his voice.
Mia just shook her head and shood Frank back out the door, "Sorry about that, ever since he told his fiancée part of his story, he has been nervous about telling her and her family the rest of it. I just know that she and her family will have his back in the coming future, he just needs to get over that last hurdle and everything will fall into place. Now Pandora and James need to find someone to love and then everything will be perfect, of course Pandora keeps saying the timing isn't right for her and James well he doesn't want to find someone, tell them his secret just to have them reject them.
"Well, if you boys don't mind I wanna get a couple hours of shut eye before work tonight." Mia said as she pushed them towards the door, after giving them each a kiss with Murphy's being slightly longer, she shut her door and went to lay down.
Murphy just looked at Conor and said "I need to go talk to Father Bishop, don't worry I won't tell him the whole story just bits and pieces without magic. Maybe he can help me wrap my head around what I am feeling, I still love and won't give her up anytime soon. I just need to let it be heard from another perspective; I will be back to walk her to work."
Conor just nodded his head; he knew his brother needed to work it out on his own and if talking to Father Bishop helps then so be it. He watched his brother walk away with a lot on his mind, hell he had a lot to think over and he wasn't dating Mia. He wondered if Frank, James, and Pandora also changed their names as well, "Of course we did silly, it was the only way for a clean start." Was all he heard from behind him causing him to jump.
Turning around he noticed Pandora standing right behind him giggling, "Sorry I tend to forget that I have that effect on people. Lets go your flat and I will tell you my story since it seems Mia has told you hers. Mine isn't quite as eventful as her's and James but it still a good story." She said as she led him down to his flat. Conor wasn't sure if he could handle Pandora if she kept sneaking up on him, "I didn't sneak up on anyone, you just had your head in the clouds that you didn't see me hear me coming up from behind you. Don't worry I wasn't reading your mind; I am not good with mind magics unless our old headmaster and Potion's Professor; they are experts at it. I just have a way of seeing things differently than others, some say it's a bit of sight other's thinks it's because there might be fairy in my bloodline somewhere along the way." Pandora said as they reached his door.
Once inside he quickly cleaned up to the best of his ability; Pandora took a spot on the couch, "It's always better to start at the beginning, so here goes nothing. My real name is Luna Pandora Lovegood, and I was raised by a single father after my mother died due to an experiment gone wrong. He did his best raising me, I couldn't ask for a better father; I bet your wondering why I left if my home life was so great. Well, I left because it was the right thing to do to lead the other's to their true destiny, I also knew from the moment I met them that they were destined for something other than what the people around them had planned. I knew leaving would break my father's heart, but it was something I had to do. For the first year and a half I didn't communicate with my father even though he would put special coded messages in his paper just for me. It was his way of supporting me without me being there, before I started Hogwarts, I had one friend, or should I say I thought she was a friend. She loved telling me how she planned on marrying James and that he just didn't know it yet, she had this fantasy life all picked out and nothing was going to stop her from achieving her dreams.
"By the time we started Hogwarts we were already drifting apart, it didn't help when she made a new set of friends and started calling me Loony Lovegood instead of Luna. I spent my first four and a half years at that school being bullied in way shape or another; if it wasn't the name calling, it was my belongings coming up missing. In my fourth year I made some actual friendships with people who didn't quite understand me but didn't bully me like others in the school did. That year was the year I started to see Ginny Weasley's true colors, she was doing everything in her power to make James jealous in hopes of snagging him up in the end. She acted like she cared when in reality she was just after his inheritance that his parents and godfather left him when they died.
"She and her brother Ron were promised portion each of his inheritance if they made it seem like they had his best interests at heart, Ron was to get him into Gryffindor by making fun of the other houses. Then Ginny was to swoop in and seduce him, then once he fought the Dark Lord and lost, they would get their hands on his money. So, when James came to me and Frank telling us what he overheard and the offer from Mia, I didn't hesitate to jump at the chance to leave with them. After all that's what true friends do is help each other when the other is down, I knew without them there school would be less tolerable for me to handle.
Now you know my story, you may tell Murphy if you wish. Now all that's left is for Frank and James to tell you their stories and you will have the full picture as to why we are here. Now if you excuse me, I need to study for an exam later this week, James should be by either tonight or tomorrow to talk to you and Murphy about his story. I will send Frank over as he gets back from New York, so you can get the rest of the picture." Pandora said as she left Conor sitting there looking like someone had petrified him.
She couldn't help but laugh that the picture he made, she had that effect on people, and it scared them sometimes. Upon leaving Conor she ran into Murphy "I think I broke your brother sorry about that, it happens sometimes with me. I don't mean to do it, it just happens. Could you make sure I didn't break him to bad?" Pandora said as she passed Murphy in the hall just outside her flat.
Murphy just laughed and nodded his head, then quickly went to check in on his brother. Once inside he found Conor sitting on the couch dumbstruck, "Why was Pandora saying she broke you?" Murphy asked once Conor was back to his normal broody self.
"She twice answered my questions without me asking them, she said she wasn't a mind reader that she was just good at reading people. Then she proceeded to tell me her story and while it wasn't as eventful as Mia's, it still makes me want to go beat up her bullies for her. Long story short, she was raised by a single dad after the untimely death of her mother, her childhood friend turned her back on her once they got to school and she was constantly bullied because she was misunderstood. That and the fact she had a feeling that the others would need her around is why she left when she did. Now all we need is to hear James's and Frank's story and we will have a complete picture of everything." Conor said while trying to wrap his head around what she had told him.
The boys settled down to play a game of cards while waiting for Mia to be ready for her escort to work, they were on the fourth round of Poker when they heard a knock on their door, they knew it was to early for Mia. Upon answering it they were right; it was James standing at their door running his hand through his hair.
"Pandora said that both she and Mia have told you their stories and that its time to tell you mine, so if you don't mind, I want to get this over with then go and get drunk." James said as he made his way into their flat.
"I didn't have a wonderful childhood, hell I really didn't a childhood at all. No hugs and kisses, no praises when I did something right, no friends that weren't bullied by my cousin Dudley. My parents died because a Dark Lord thought I was meant to grow up and kill him someday, the traitor was one of their best friends someone who my father thought of as a brother. To this day we still don't know why betrayed them or what he got out of it beside being able to live another day, after the death of my parents I was sent to live with my mother's jealous sister.
"The same sister who grew up to hate how perfect my mother was, how much prettier and smarter my mother was. She loathed anything that wasn't normal or would fit in her perfectly normal life and that included me. From the first day, she treated me with such disdain that she potty trained me early just so she wouldn't have to change my diapers. Her husband looked like a beached whale and their was just as fat as his father, they both took pleasure in tormenting me on a daily basis. From a young age, I was expected to cook all their meals, clean up after them and then do the housework while my aunt bragged about how wonderful her gardens were turning out to be.
"At night I was locked in the cupboard under the stairs with the spiders, that was my room until I got my first Hogwarts letter when I was almost 11 years old. I was the bare minimum, just enough to survive; I never even saw a doctor. When my aunt was told I might need glasses she took me to the pharmacy and bought me a pair of readers, in her mind I was a freak, and I didn't deserve nice normal things like her precious Dudley.
"If I burned the bacon or was late completing a chore I was beating and thrown in my cupboard without food sometimes up to a week at a time. When I got my first letter from Hogwarts it was addressed to H. J. Potter Cupboard under the stairs 4 Privet Drive Surrey England, I was excited it was finally something that was mine, something that they couldn't take from me. Boy how wrong was I, they took the letter and destroyed it before I even had a chance to read it.
"Every letter after that had the smallest bedroom written on it and trust me there was a lot of post coming in from Hogwarts. So, much so that they tried to outrun the letters, but they kept appearing wherever we were at, I didn't understand who wanted to talk to me so badly that they had the letter's follow us around like that.
"It was the night before my 11th birthday when my uncle found us an out of the way cabin to hunker down in, then at the stroke of midnight as I blew out the dirt candles, I had made there was a knock upon the cabin door. Then suddenly the hinges were blown off the door, and that's how I met the Keeper of the Keys of Hogwarts Rebus Hagrid.
"He was the who told me about how I was a wizard and had my name down to go to Hogwarts since birth, he then handed me a letter from the school. Before my uncle could take this one away, I quickly opened it and read the contents, of course my uncle said that he wasn't going to let some old crackpot teach me magic tricks.
"That's when I learned you never made fun of the headmaster in front of Hagrid then he proceeded to try and turn my cousin into a pig because he was feeding his fat face with my first ever birthday cake, at least the first I could remember. The next morning after sending my acceptance letter back to Hogwarts, Hagrid took me to get my school supplies but first we hit the bank were my trust fund vault was being held.
"After getting enough money to cover my supplies, I went to get my wand first and that's when I found out my wand had a brother wand out there and it was the one to give me my lightning shaped scar upon my forehead. Then I went to get my uniforms and met a boy who had the most shockingly white blonde hair I had ever seen on someone, he proceeded to put certain houses down and then made fun of Hagrid for being some kind of servant to the school.
"While I was getting fitted for my uniforms, Hagrid was buying me my first present in a long time; he bought me a snowy white owl with black spots I named Hedwig, and she was beautiful. Finally, after all my shopping was done, he took me back to the Dursley's, from that day until the day I left for school I was left to my own devices so to speak.
"My uncle dropped me off at the train station and I walked around looking for Platform 9 ¾, I was about to ask a Bobby when I heard the word muggle. Looking around I spotted this family of red heads walking fast through the crowd, so I just followed them thinking that they knew where they were going. What I didn't know at the time it was a setup, a ploy to get me in the right place at the right time. The matron was a plump sort of woman with too many children, I could count four boys and one girl; each with shockingly red hair and blue eyes.
"She was nice to me and helped me get onto the Platform just in time to make it to the train, from there I grabbed an empty carriage and waited for the train to take off. I couldn't had been in there more than ten minutes when one of the boys who was close in age to me came in, asking to sit with me due to everywhere else being full up.
"I who was very much in need of a friend agreed to let him sit with me, he told me more about the House system and the best one to get into. About an hour into the trip this bushy haired girl came barging in asking if we had seen a toad, we said that we hadn't seen one. Ron was just about to do a spell his older brothers Fred and George taught him, so she had him do the spell and then asked if it was a real spell after it failed to work.
"She left not long after that only to come back a bit later saying we better get into our robes because we were almost to the school. Then she left again, only this time to be replaced by a pompous git name Draco Malfoy, and to say the least I had made my first enemy, and I wasn't even on school grounds yet. By the time we reached the train station it was already dark outside, we were instructed to leave our trunks and other belongings on the train, and they would be brought up separately.
"We then traveled no more than four to a boat across the lake that was in front of the school, it was such a sight to see as we turned the corner and saw the Castle for the first time ever. It looked like it came off the pages of a Muggle fairy tale, once inside we met the deputy headmistress who then took us to be sorted into our houses.
"By the time my name was called I begged the hat not to put me in Slytherin and I guess it must have been in a good mood because it took my request and put me in Gryffindor instead. From there I met the other boys in my class sorted into Gryffindor; Dean Thomas, Seamus Finnigan, Neville Longbottom and finally Ron Weasley rounded out the group.
"They were to be my roommates for the next seven years, through the good and bad we had to share a dorm room and bathroom. Which meant we had to get along with each other, as the days went by, I found out that Neville was my god-brother and his birthday was the day before mine, Dean Thomas was a half-blood along with Seamus who was from Ireland. I learned the Potion's teacher hated me for some unknown reason, the defense teacher was a joke, History of Magic was being taught by an actual ghost of a former Professor. Transfiguration was by far my favorite subject to date that and Charms.
"By the Friday at the end of the first week I was invited to have Tea with Hagrid, so Ron and I went down after the last class of the day for tea. Everything was going as good as it could, that was until that fatefully day Ron said something rude about Hermione in hearing and made her cry. Later that evening was when I noticed that Hermione never made to dinner, I was about to say something to a Perfect when our defense teacher came in saying that there was a Troll in the dungeons.
"The headmaster had the perfects lead us back to our common rooms, I guess you know what happens next. We saved Hermione after putting her in danger once again, it was Ron's fault that she was in that lavatory in the first place. When the teachers arrived, she lied to protect us even though we were at fault.
"We became the Golden Trio, we went on to save the school from our Defense teacher even though we thought it was our Potions teacher that was out to get the stone. We parted ways for the summer promising to write each other.
"That summer my mail was being stopped by an obsessive House elf, who was trying to prevent me from returning to school that next year. Thanks to him I was locked up in my room with bars on the window and a lock that locked from the outside on my door, there was kitty flap for my aunt to push bread and water through. Then one night Ron and two of his older brothers stole their dad's flying car and broke me out, taking me back to their house.
"They were caught when we tried to sneak back into the house, they were made to degnome the garden after breakfast. I spent the rest of my summer with the Weasleys being treated like one of their own, I found out that there was six boys altogether. Bill, who was the oldest and a Curse breaker for the bank, Charlie who was second born, who ran off to play with Dragons, then you had Percy, Fred, George, and Ron left of the boys still in school.
"Finally, Ginevra Molly 'Ginny' Weasley was the youngest and only girl, to say she was spoiled was an understatement. She had her older brother's wrapped around her pinky finger and could get them to do whatever she wanted them too. From a young age she had her sights upon marrying me and it was all due to a set of books depicting my so called life, from fighting dragons to rescuing Princesses.
"It didn't matter that those books were works of fiction to her they were real, and she was going to have her Prince Charming someday. Second year didn't help the matters of her crush on me, after rescuing her from the Soul Shard of a young Dark Lord it seemed to get worse before it got better. Third year I had to deal with a mass murderer out to kill or at least that's what everyone was saying, fourth we had the tri-wizarding event which I reluctantly won, fifth year saw our thoughts be controlled by a Ministry Plant name Delores Jane Umbridge and I lost one of the last remaining links to me parents. Sixth year was when I found out I was nothing but a sacrificial lamb being led to the slaughterhouse by the nose.
"One day after Quidditch practice, I overheard Ginny and Ron talking about how the love potion was working as well as it should and that I was starting to do my own thinking. That I needed to be put back under there thumb or they were never going to get their hands on my money, I knew then and there I had to leave. If they were willing to do that to me there was no telling what they would have done Neville or Hermione.
"When Hermione's letter came it couldn't have been at a better time, so I cornered Neville and Luna telling them of Hermione's plan. They agreed to come with me, so we set out to put our affairs in order then snuck back into school to get up the Room of Requirement; from there we made the Potion, destroyed the evidence in case the cauldron was discovered and took the potion.
"We left Harry Potter, Neville Longbottom, and Luna Lovegood behind and became who we are today. And gentlemen is my story in a nutshell, Frank's is pretty much the same without the blatant abuse." James said.
The boys sat there soaking up what he said and what he didn't say, how could they be upset at them when all they were doing was trying to save their own lives. While not quite sure that they would go that far if they were in their shoes, they understand the need to save their lives. "Can you turn into a black cat like Mia?" Conor asked first just have Murphy hit him.
James just laughed, backed up and turned into a ten point buck, the same type of animal his father could turn into, then after a couple of minutes he turned back. "Sorry disappoint you boys but I am way cooler than a cat." James said still laughing.
They three of them just continued to laugh for a bit, then Murphy told them of his trip to see Father Bishop and what he said. He said that if Murphy loved her than what was in her past just that in her past and doesn't define who she was now as a person. It opened Murphy's eyes bit more and realized that Father Bishop was right, it was her past and her secret, a secret that she didn't have tell him just yet if at all.
That God loves everybody no matter what religion they were or their backgrounds and if God could make them then who was he to turn them away. Needless to say, it was good chat and very insightful, so Murphy was going to stop trying to get her into Church and if they Ma didn't like it then too bad. She was perfect the way she was and there was no need to change her into something she was not. It didn't work for James's relatives or his former friends when they tired to change James, why would Mia be any different.
Conor introduced James the game of Poker while waiting for Mia, James then in turn went and got his exploding snap game and taught them to play that. James was glad for once for listening to Mia when it came to leaving, he was having more fun than he ever had Hogwarts. At least here he didn't have to constantly look over his shoulder for next sneak attack, he could be a normal college student with normal problems. He was living it up here in Boston and he owed it all to Mia and her overworked brain.
While Mia, Pandora, and James spilled their guts to Conor and Murphy, Frank was on a train heading to New York to meet up with Queenie's family. To say he wasn't nervous was lie, this was a make it or break situation; he was going to Queenie's family the truth of who he was and how he came to live in Boston. "Knut for your thoughts?" Queenie asked quietly, looking over at her he just smiled saying "Just going over what I am going to tell your family, I really want them to like me that's all."
Queenie just laughed softly and shook her head, "Don't worry I won't let my father or Grandfather turn you into doughnuts or something like that, it's my grandmother you need to watch out for. She may be getting up there in age, but she is good with a wand, just ask my brothers. They have been at the business end grandmother's wand a few times growing up, I on the other hand was the perfect little Angel. Just be glad I am not throwing into the wolfs den so to speak to begin with, I could always introduce you to my great uncle Newt Scamander first and see if you sink or swim.
"But luckily, he is Romania at the moment talking to the Dragon Keepers and making sure they are treating the Dragons with respect, my great aunt Tina still works for the Ministry not as she once did but more as an advisor for the younger generation of Auror's. What was your family like, you know all about mine, but I know next to nothing about yours? Are your parents still alive, do you have any brothers or sisters?" she asked as the conductor checked their tickets.
Taking a deep breath Frank told her everything he could without a secrecy oath, "I was born on July 30th, one day before my godbrother was born. My parents were Auror's like your great aunt Tina, we lived with my Gran and great uncle Algie. Then just over a year after I turned one, the Dark Lord disappeared a group of rouge Death Eater's broke into our home and tortured my parents into insanity, leaving me a virtual orphan. I was then raised by my Gran who did her best to me into my father, except I was more at home with the plants then I was with learning combat skills.
"I can hold my own until help arrives, but I prefer the quiet peaceful life, just like right now if I had to defend myself I would but I prefer to let others do my fighting for me. Leaving behind me everything I held dear just so I could live a much quieter life was worth the pain of missing my parents, I hope that I can get them transferred here to America where the medical field is more advance than it's British counterpart. Maybe they can find a cure for my parents here then they could in Britian, they just leave them to their own devices. After all there is a lot of patients in the Janus Thickery Ward at St Mungo's, and they can't keep track of them all; I have been saving up my inheritance plus my Muggle pay to have them moved. I just need to clear it with my Gran, even though I am of age I still need her permission as their legal Guardians.
"If I can get them the best care money can arrange then I will work my butt off with extra shifts at the Meat Packing Plant just to pay for it, having my parents see the man I have become today and meeting you would be the greatest joy in my life." Frank said as he took her hand in his.
Not knowing what to say Queenie spent the rest of the trip in silence, she had met a lot of Wizards and muggle guys who could care less about their families. They were waiting for them to croak so they could inherit everything, they have nothing on Frank; he was one of a kind and boy was she glad she scooped him up before someone else did.
Meanwhile, back in England Dumbledore was on his last rope and slowly hanging himself with it. He lost his pawns in this big chess game called life, and he was having a hard time getting them back. Every stone he turned over had nothing, but snails hidden underneath, he needed to regain some resemblance of order before it was too late. He was already on the verge of losing Hogwarts and if he lost that then war would be over here in England then the Dark Lord would set his sights on the rest of the Wizarding World.
It all went wrong when that mudblood know it all sunk her claws into something she shouldn't have took the two most important Pawns on his chess board away. He made sure to clean out that Black library himself before Sirius let her take a few books to keep, he also purged the school library of anything that could help escape his plans for her.
He was going to sell her off to Malfoy's just watch her spirit get broken, then he was going to make sure Harry was pliable under the influence of the love Potion's he had Miss Weasley dosing him with every meal. He would then have Harry and Neville go off to fight the Dark Lord just so Dumbledore can swoop in and save the day once they were lost to the Wizarding World. He had his plans all worked out and had been placing his pawns where he wanted them on the makeshift chess board since he first heard the prophecy during her job interview all those years ago.
First, he allowed Snape to go and tell his Master the prophecy just to have him come crawling on his slimy snake belly when he learned that his Master planned on going after the Potters instead of the Longbottom's. That's why he used the confundus charm on Sirius when it came time for them to choose a secret keeper, Sirius thought it was his idea and perfect prank against the Dark Lord.
That backfired wonderfully as if he personally had a hand in handing the Potter's over to the Dark Lord himself, then he had their wills blocked, Sirius thrown in Prison and Harry placed with his magic hating relatives. The icing on the cake was when Bellatrix Lestrange, her husband, brother in law, and one Barty Crouch Jr took it upon themselves to torture the Longbottom's into insanity.
Leaving behind their young son in the care of his Gran and great uncle who made him feel like Squib for so many years just to have him accepted into Hogwarts, plus having his Gran try and mold him in his father's image, not realizing that boy was nothing like his father, he was way too soft. The only reason he had him as a back up is one must have spare in case something were to befall the heir, who else better to step into the heir's shoes than the spare.
While not quite as powerful as Harry was, he was good spare to have lying around and placing him at opposite sides of the chess board made it even more powerful, after all why have all you eggs in one basket in case that basket broke you had more eggs.
While Dumbledore was contemplating Fred and George busy with a blow out sale, they figured it was just a matter of time before Dumbledore tried using them as pawns again so they figured that they would leave.
It was George who first saw the ad in the Quibbler:
Wanted: A set of Magical twins willing to relocate to America and join the lost ones.
He nearly choked on his tea, he read it over and over again making sure he was reading it right. Someone in America was trying to reach out to them and have them make the transfer out there, now they just had to decide if they were going to go full muggle or open a joke shop in Wizarding America. And how to do it all under the big nose of one Albus too many names Dumbledore and the Dark Lord, after all it wouldn't be good to lead them to the lost ones.
He knew they needed to word their response carefully, so he needed to talk to Fred before responding to the ad. He began to hunt him down and found him the brewing room, without saying anything he shoved the ad in his face. After a few minutes of silence Fred spoke up "We need to write our response carefully, even though if Dumbledore read the Quibbler he would already be here wanting to know if we know anything about the ad and who the lost ones were. Your better at words than I am so I leave it up to you come up with a response and I will start packing everything to be shrunk and ready to move."
George knew Fred was right about him being better at words, that's why he did all of their homework or least the homework they chose to do. So, George left him to his own devices and began to write up the Perfect response, after a few minutes he came up with:
To the Lost Ones: One set of Magical twins at your disposal ready to transfer at a moment's notice.
He checked it over for spelling mistakes before walking it down to the Owl Post down the street, he paid for the Owl post and made sure to put in ten gallons for the ad itself. Then he sent it off to the Quibbler before stopping at the Leaky Cauldron to pick up dinner, it was going to be a long night of packing and shrinking and neither of them are going to be in the mood to cook.
