It was a calming night on Cordell Island as everyone was getting set up for the upcoming carnival that is slated for next week. The Grand Hill District was having all the carnival rides and grandeur everywhere as there was a funhouse being set up. What everyone didn't expect was that a group of teenagers were wanting to go towards the funhouse as they wanted to check out the mirrors that were inside. It was good fun, but sooner or later, the group would face the brimming reality of what could happen next, for there would be something sinister waiting in the distance.

"Check it out," said an Elf boy as he was looking into one of the mirrors. "I'm Jabba the Hutt!"

"They're just mirrors that distort things," said an Elf girl as she was looking into another mirror.

"This reminds me of the last funhouse with the black wallpaper and green spiral all over the place," said another Elf boy. "Oh, this is more like those popular Supernatural books in which there ought to be more of this stuff than what's boring in the mainlands."

"Hey, check it out," said another Elf girl as she spotted a mirror that was broken. "Whoever played with it shouldn't be breaking it due to the bad luck it brings."

It wasn't long until the group noticed a dead body of a man on the floor. What they didn't expect was that the victim had blood coming from his eyes as if someone attacked him for no reason, for there was something wrong here after all. When the group left the funhouse, there was someone in the distance as it was the spirit of a woman dressed in a grey dress with her hair long and matted from not taking proper care of herself as she vanished without a trace, for the spirit had been a reminder of an old piece of lore that was long dead for centuries…

Dean was dreaming of Magda as he was wanting to see her again. The loss of her weighed heavily on him as he saw her being cut open by Jacob Doran in which he pulled out Rory from the womb while cutting the umbilical cord and tying it after that. The sight of Doran dangling the newborn unnerved Dean as he saw him about to be thrown from a cliff until Desna ran swiftly and caught him in time. With Doran staring at him, he was angered at the latter after he saw Magda's body on the ground until he woke up in a cold sweat. It had been a week since he tried to resolve himself to marry Ravenna and move on from what he suffered from as he also couldn't get Magda's image out of his head. Even though he was alone in his bed, he remembered Magda's touch as he also wanted someone to talk to before he suffered a complete breakdown. Despite the encouragement from his unit to move on, he couldn't betray Magda as he found it difficult to resolve himself after losing her.

When he left his room, he went outside of the base as he went to the cemetery in which he visited Magda's grave the moment he saw flowers and stuffed animals adorning it. Still, he could never let go of her memory as he also found it hard to get with Ravenna in which she lost her husband to prostate cancer. He also had to contend with her mother, Margo, as it was a tough obstacle to get past while trying to move on. Just as he was about to go back inside, he saw a courier approaching as he gave him a letter before leaving. Opening it up, he noticed it to be from the Rakuen Priesthood as it was a warning addressed to him about not marrying Ravenna in which they were adamant into forcing him to do so, for this was something that couldn't be ignored on the sly.

"So, if they want me to marry while pissing off the Joan Crawford wannabe, then I'm treading on thin ice right now," he said to himself. "I know that I don't wanna marry again, but I don't have a choice."

Dean returned into the base as he was more than likely to be going out of here the moment he looked at the summons that he had earlier. It was a message to him as it was a changing of the guard the moment he would bring his unit out of Shiganshina and straight to Skald Island on Valinor the moment he would be placed towards an Order of Letters base that was in the Inland district of it. Sooner or later, he would bring his unit over there as he would soon part ways with being there in the Dabb Mountains on Shiganshina, for he would soon be moving to where I was. When he went outside again, he went towards the elevator as he took it down in which he reached the bottom just to see that I was there standing next to the Impala, which didn't have any garbage in it right now after I intervened a week ago.

"You were supposed to be at your castle on Valinor," he said to me.

"And you're moving to Skald Island's Inland District with your unit," I said.

"Yeah, and everyone's leaving except for Ben and his family, who are eager to accept the next unit of the Hunter Corps coming here."

"Who will live here since you and your unit will be coming to Valinor?"

"Princess Elspeth of Germanicus will be with her unit in the Hunter Corps' fourth squad in which she's well aware since her mother, the Germanican Empress, saw what the Zenith Vectors have been doing to some of the other humanoids living on other planets."

"It's good to hear, but you have a date with a widow once you get to Valinor."

"Captain, we're ready to go," said Desna as he was with the rest of Dean's unit and family members the moment they were ready to enter into the room with the red rubber ball. "Most of our unit will be waiting for you on Skald Island, but it's a shame that the Impala won't fit in there."

"Then we'll take an Order of Letters ship to Valinor," said Dean. "It's better that way for now."

I saw Dean getting into the Impala as he was ready to start it up. Still, I was eager to let him drive alone as I was ready to meet him through the room with the red rubber ball. Just as I was about to do so, I felt a tugging at my long silver hair as I was being dragged into the Impala into the passenger's side. I didn't want to go on a car ride as I had to return back to Skald Island on Valinor, for everyone was waiting for me at present.

"I never asked to go for a ride with you!" I yelled.

"C'mon, Sammy; work with me here," said Dean.

"Can't you go by yourself in that car? You've done it before!"

"How dare you?!" yelled Minara as he appeared out of nowhere and into the backseat. "How could you leave him all alone when he's suffering from depression like that?!"

I noticed Minara glaring at me as he wasn't too happy with me for not coming along for the car ride. I didn't have time for it as I also didn't want to go anywhere in the Impala right now. Therefore, I got out of the passenger's side as I was not going anywhere in the Impala, for that was Dean's thing, not mine. Just as I was about to go towards the compartment where the room with the red rubber ball was, I was stopped by Minara as he refused to budge in which he wasn't too happy with me, for he also didn't want anyone with depression to travel alone like that.

"I'm not going on a car ride, Minara," I said.

"How could you refuse to go with your brother like that?"

"That's not your concern."

"It is when he lost Magda! It is when he ended up at the Wonder Nook all drunk! Therefore, when was the last time you took a car ride?"

"Just let him go if he doesn't feel like it," said Dean.

"No! I'm not letting you go off alone in the Impala like that!" Minara unsheathes his scimitars as he was pointing them at me. "Get your ass in the car or else you'll be going back to Skald Island with a crappy mullet!"

I reluctantly agreed as I got back in on the passenger's side. With Minara getting into the backseat, we were ready to go as Dean started the car again and drove away from the base the moment we left through Yukishiro. I never agreed to go for a ride as I refused to talk to anyone after being pushed into going along with this. With Dean trying to coax a conversation with me, I kept my mouth shut as I wanted to go back to Skald Island, but was under the watchful eye from Minara as he refused to let me leave the car under no circumstances. When we were on the road, we saw a suspicious woman standing in the road as she was dressed in a futuristic suit similar to the ones that the Zenith Vectors wore. Armed with a rocket launcher, she was ready to shoot at the Impala as I used my raw power to teleport everyone away from the danger in which we ended up on Valinor, but not on Skald Island as planned. When the Impala finally parked, we were in the Grand Hill District on Cordell Island as we got out of there and stretched our legs, for we were out of harm's way for now.

"You saved our asses again, Sam," said Dean as he saw me barely trying to stand up.

"We almost lost our lives before I transported us here to Valinor," I said.

"The perp did wear the same suit as Jacob Doran."

"It was a Zenith Vector, wasn't it?" said Minara as Dean nods. "Looks like Doran's got his grunts doing his dirty work while he's busy hiding in the shadows rounding up some of the Terrans who refuse to rally around his cause."

"And Doran is very picky about choosing what humans he wants with him," I said. "He's dangerous and so are his subordinates. We're gonna have to watch our backs if we run into more of those Zenith Vectors."

I spotted Dean wringing his hands as he was shaken by what happened at the base on Shiganshina. He hated Doran and the Zenith Vectors for what they did to Magda as he vowed revenge against them, for they needed to go before they caused further harm to anyone else. I was worried about him as I also didn't want him to go down a dark path in which Minara also nearly did the same back then, for he was there not to let that happen.

"We're not on Skald Island," he said.

"No, but we're on Cordell Island," I said.

"And the circus is in town," said Dean as he saw some carnival rides being set up. "Looks like everyone is gearing up for the fair for the week."

"It's the Bunzel Carnival Fair," said Minara as he saw a poster with the words on it along with a clown motif. "Every summer, most of Cordell Island has its fair, complete with the rides and fair food. There's even a funhouse that's enticing but…" Minara sees some yellow tape all over it as he noticed the local police patrolling it. "The fun has been sapped from the funhouse…"

I walked towards the funhouse as I sensed that there was a ghost inside of the mirrors the moment it vanished. What I didn't expect was that I spotted Yavanna coming towards the carnival as she was carrying a cooler of fish in a pull-cart. Still, she was glad to see me as she never expected me to come back to Cordell Island again, for I was here on business right now.

"It's been a while, Sam," she said.

"I'm glad that you're there still fishing instead of dealing with drowners," I said.

"It's been quiet, but with the carnival going, there's a huge snag when it comes to the funhouse being shut down after it was put up."

"What seems to be the problem?" asked Dean.

"A few days ago, a group of teenagers decided to go into the funhouse, but what they found was the dead body of one of the carnies in which the local police taped it off. The victim had his eyes bleeding before he died. As for the real kicker, one of the teenaagers saw a name unknown to everyone written on the wall in blood by the name of 'Catherine Maxwell,' on it. I never heard of the name before, but the guy must've did something wrong"

I heard the sound of three young girls in the distance as I walked to where they were. They were human as they were dressed in Norse clothing in which they were looking into some of the clues that were there. I never saw them near the funhouse before as the girls were searching for who killed the carnie worker earlier, for a spirit was out there haunting the carnival earlier.

"It seems that the three of you aren't interested in going to the carnival," I said.

"We've been trying to track down the myth of Bloody Mary like in one of those books at the Singer House," said one of the girls. "It's been said that if someone says her name three times, she appears in a mirror and scratches your eyes out and writes the name of a victim they killed."

"It's best that you leave the hunting for the grown-ups."

"And not expose how Bloody Mary keeps pegging off her victims? Not a chance," said another girl.

"You've been looking at those popular Supernatural books again, haven't you?"

"The Bloody Mary lore is no myth," said the third girl. "In the Elder Days, Bloody Mary had a name known as Mary Worthington who haunted mirrors. If you say her name three times, she'll come to you and take you out."

"And that's why you're interested into proving the existence of Bloody Mary…"

"There you are!"

I spotted Astrid as she was coming for the three girls who were still curious of wanting to expose Bloody Mary. When she saw me walking with a cane, she was glad that I was doing better, but I didn't have time to do anything right now, for I had to return to Skald Island with Dean and Minara in tow. With the girls leaving, I was with Astrid as she was glad to see me, for she wasn't about to let her new wards talk about the myth of Bloody Mary too much.

"The three of you shouldn't be running around poking your noses around the funhouse," she said.

"They can be fine on their good days," I said.

"I'm talking about the myth about Bloody Mary. The people here are worried about going into the funhouse after the operator of it died in which I also looked up the name of Catherine Maxwell."

"Who was she?"

"Catherine Maxwell was a little girl who disappeared so many years ago. What we didn't know was that the carnie who worked at the funhouse ended up killing her just to demand money from her family. Her father was distraught when he found her body, but the carnie had it coming in the end." Astrid glares at the three girls as she was ready to bring them back to her home. "As for you, it's time to get ready to have your dinner. We'll go to the carnival tomorrow, but no poking around the funhouse, okay?"

The girls agreed as they came with Astrid the moment they were going home for the day. Still, I had a gut feeling that the spirit of Mary Worthington was there haunting the mirrors again, for she was lingering around the funhouse as we speak…

I was on my way towards the Impala as I was more than likely to be sitting in there with Dean and Minara in tow. Still, I didn't want to go on any car ride, but I was also happy that I saw Yavanna and Astrid again in which they were thriving after I repelled the drowner threat. With everything all booked due to the influx of mainlanders coming to the carnival, we had no other choice but to camp outside for the night until we noticed Yavanna coming towards us, for she didn't want us to be outside when curfew hit.

"You three need to get your asses to a place before the patrol comes and finds you," she said.

"We're fine outside," said Dean.

"Oh, really? There are local cops on duty and if they saw you three in that car sleeping in it, then you'll end up in jail for violating curfew. Therefore, there's the Singer House and I can't leave you three out on the street, now can I?"

I led the way with Dean and Minara in tow as we made our way towards the Singer House for the night. I remembered that place very well due to the wheelchair ramp outside and the lifter for those who were handicapped in which I went upstairs to my room for the night. Even with Dean and Minara here, they were more than likely to be having rooms of their own as they would soon be coming with me to investigate the funhouse, for we had to trap the ghost of Mary Worthington before it was too late. In my room, I was sitting on the bed as I was looking at the stars that were shining in the clear sky. I would soon return to Reiko again as I was thinking about her to the fullest, for I wasn't too worried about her. By the time I was about to lay on the bed, I saw the door open as I noticed Yavanna opening it in which she wanted me to go downstairs for some odd reason, for she wanted me to unwind until morning.

"You've been through too much," she said.

"I know, but I'm too tired to move," I said.

"There's a hot spring next to your car in which it's mainly a public one, but—"

"I'll take a shower instead. If I got to it, then there would be too many people lounging in it."

"Dean and Minara are over there. You should try it, too."

"I'll think about it, but not now…"

I saw Yavanna leave as I went towards the bathroom and took off my clothes and put them into the hamper. When I stepped into the shower, I began to clean myself as I was ready to go straight to bed after this. By the time I rinsed myself off, I dried myself with a towel as I put on my nightclothes the moment I picked up the towel and placed it into the hamper. When I left the bathroom, I went to lay down on my bed as I curled up in the covers in which I felt the northern wind blowing from outside, for I wanted to fall asleep after this.

"It's just for tonight," I said to myself.

I closed my eyes as I fell asleep in which I was ready to leave Cordell Island in the morning. I was tired as I was wanting to stay in bed until I later woke up shaking in shock. What I didn't expect was that I had a vision as I sensed that Dean and Minara were in danger in which I saw the ghost of Mary Worthington standing in front of them while they had blood coming from their eyes. What I also didn't expect was they were taken to the funhouse as they were surrounded by mirrors, for the ghost was there to torment them while wanting to kill them at the same time. The vision horrified me as I returned to reality the moment I had to rescue them before it was too late, for I couldn't let them die right now.

Getting up from my bed, I walked towards the door as I saw the ghost in the mirror in which I had to protect myself from it in which I rushed towards the window and jumped out while the awning broke my fall when I later hit the ground. I had to stay away from reflections as I rushed towards the funhouse in which I had to find Dean and Minara before it was too late, for they needed my help more than ever…

Dean and Minara were in the funhouse as they were tied up in a room surrounded by mirrors. They never expected to be abducted as they were struggling to get free from their bonds in the form of zip ties on their wrists and ankles. They never saw it coming as they were kidnapped at the hot spring, but who did it all of a sudden? What they didn't expect was that there was a soldier that was there as he was dressed in a grey tunic while he had unkempt red hair and hazel eyes complete with acne and freckles on his face, for he was one of the supporters of the Executive Division before they met their demise six months prior.

"Finally, you woke up," he said as he used a bucket of water while he poured it all over them.

"And we have the weaker than cat piss version of the ice bucket challenge," said Dean.

"You ruined our chances to have your brother as our weapon! You destroyed the Executive Division for trying to keep so much order in their hands!"

"Your handlers are either dead or in prison," said Minara. "The war is over, so I suggest that you surrender quietly."

"Oh, I'm just getting started! Have you heard of an urban legend known as Bloody Mary? She was a spirit who killed the one who has sin all over them, but when her name is blurted out three times, she'll scratch your eyes out. As for the ultimate prize, I invoked her name three times while I was in front of the Singer House just to get a little payback towards him for not submitting to the Executive Division! As for you, your time is up as we speak! Bloody Mary, Bloody Mary, Bloody Mary!" A rush of wind filled the funhouse as Dean and Minara were fearing the worst. "As for me, I'm making sure that you die before the ultimate prize comes here to rescue you. There's no hope for you anyway because I'm doing this for my fallen brothers and sisters in the Executive Division!"

"You arrogant son-of-a-bitch!" yelled Minara. "You'll get what's coming to you when we free ourselves from our bonds!"

It wasn't long until the ginger-haired man left the funhouse as Dean and Minara were left alone while being surrounded by mirrors. The image of the ghost unnerved them as they had to get free in which they had to get out of the funhouse, for time was slowly running out…

I walked towards the funhouse as I noticed a canister of salt on the ground. Taking it with me, I had to have something to fend off the ghost with as I was on my way inside, but there would be a problem. I was about to go into a place of mirrors as I had to do something quick. Fishing out a bandanna, I put it over my eyes as I had to keep them covered so I wouldn't have my eyes scratched out. With a slow form of timing, I later found a pitchfork as I held it up instead of a walking stick in which I went into the funhouse the moment I sensed the presence of Bloody Mary lurking all over the place. There were mirrors all over the place as I was trying to make my way towards Dean and Minara without removing the blindfold that was covering my eyes. In a blink of an eye, I began to sense a shimmering thread with my eyes closed as I followed it clearly in which I finally made it to where I needed to get to.

What I didn't expect was that Dean and Minara were tied up with zip ties as I had to get them out of here before they lose their eyesight. It wasn't long until I ended up bending a bit of Dean's chi to make a diamond shard in which it was crafted carefully just in time to save him and Minara just in time. With the zip ties cut from their wrists and ankles, they were freed as I had to get them out of the funhouse until I sensed Bloody Mary in front of us, for we had to get out of here before it was too late.

"It was you!" she said to Dean as she saw him with his eyes bleeding. "You killed Magda! You could've protected her when you had the chance!" She stares at Minara as he also had his eyes bleeding. "And as for you, you killed Penelope and Lentulus! You could've protected them from Julilla's wrath when you had the chance! Your fate has been sealed, for their names will be—"

It wasn't long until I used my raw power to shatter the mirrors in the funhouse in which Bloody Mary was unable to be going from mirror to mirror now. The spirit was outnumbered as I used my raw power to eliminate the ghost in which she was being pulled into Hell below the moment I saw her turn into glass shards. Even though she had it coming, she was no match for me in which I ended up losing control the moment I felt a surge of raw power engulfing me in which it was all too much when it blew a hole in the ceiling. With Dean and Minara trying to calm me down, I was unable to regain control until I saw them doing their best to get me back to normal, for it was too much.

By the time I regained control, I fainted on the floor until Dean and Minara ushered me outside when I dropped the pitchfork onto the ground. When the locals got there, they noticed the funhouse all ransacked as they later noticed it turning into one huge pile of glass shards that the mirrors emerged from. What everyone didn't know was that the spirit of Bloody Mary was trapped in a huge crystal shard that emerged from below as she was put in there for all eternity, for the nightmare was over for now. The urban myth of Mary Worthington was the stuff of legends as it was a memory that was even written in the annals of the popular Supernatural books, for she was never allowed to cause havoc again.

"There lies Bloody Mary where the funhouse once stood," said Dean as he steered me away from it.

"With the threat gone, everyone is safe for the time being," said Minara.

"Thank the gods…" I said as I woke up and coughed up blood.

"Holy shit!" yelled one of the officers as he saw the funhouse become one huge mirror shard. "What happened in there?! Some sort of LSD orgy?!"

"A lot happened in there," said Dean.

"Must be some heavy shit all over that place… I hope that everyone didn't jump the gun on finding what went on in that place before it became a huge chunk of glass."

It wasn't long until a Medical Corps team arrived on the scene as they saw me trying to stay awake the moment I noticed Ravenna rushing towards us. She never expected me to use my raw power in a long time as she was aware of what I could do, for I had to be taken to the hospital as soon as possible…

Dean was waiting in the hospital's waiting room as he was concerned about my condition in which I ended up destroying the funhouse on the spot. When he saw me being wheeled into a hospital room, he decided to follow me until he was stopped by Ravenna, who was also concerned about my health, for she was a doctor in the Medical Corps like the ones she served. Still, she didn't want Dean to interfere too much as she wanted him not to worry too much in which she later turned on the radio where the influx of classic rock was playing for a while. The sound of Lynyrd Skynyrd's "Freebird," playing in the background calmed Dean down as he was stuck with Ravenna, for she liked the same music that he enjoyed.

"You have a thing for a bit of Skynyrd," he said.

"I never liked the other genres of music, but the classic stuff," said Ravenna.

"You sure love what you put on, don't you?"

"My Uncle Edmund has a collection of rock music in which he irks my mum for playing it full blast."

"For the record, how's Sam doing?"

"Minara's with him, but he also wanted me to console you after your brother used his raw power to save you guys from the wrath of Bloody Mary."

"That's just it…" Dean feels his hands shaking as he was worried about me. "Sam's been using his raw power to save us time and time again in which it exhausts him very badly. This isn't the first time or the last in which he overexerted it when he kicked Sawney Masbath's ass three years ago. Still, I just wish that he took better care of himself instead of wasting his time on us. He did save our asses in the funhouse earlier."

"I'll look at Sam after he gets settled in the hospital for the rest of the night. As for you, you need to get to bed at the Singer House until morning. We're in the same room, but I'll see you after I make my rounds. Tomorrow, we might go for a cup of coffee if you let me."

Dean looked at Ravenna as he couldn't take her eyes off of her. Even though she was a widow and he himself a widower, both of them needed solace as they lost someone dear to them, for they needed each other more than ever right now…

The next morning, I woke up as I was in a hospital room the moment I ended up in a bed surrounded by an intravenous drip on my arm and a catheter inserted into my member so I wouldn't have to get up and use the bathroom. Sitting up, I saw the influx of the northern wind cooling the heat from outside as it wasn't as hot as it was in which I was thankful that the Skalvarg Archipelago wasn't too hot or cold in the summer, for it was just right. When I laid back down, I curled up in the blanket as I was exhausted from what happened to me last night. Still, I was worried about the damage to the funhouse as I would end up paying for it until I heard the door opening up in which I spotted a young man dressed in police garb coming into the room. He was human as he had turquoise hair and green eyes in which he looked similar to Marnathi, who was a Draaza, which denoted his status as a Cetra. The young man himself was following in his mother's footsteps as he was more than likely to be investigating what happened in the funhouse, for it was his job after all.

"Looks like Henry Harker's funhouse met its demise after hightailing it here to Cordell Island to avoid murder charges," he said.

"You look more like your mother," I said.

"I always get that, but I'll manage. For the record, my name is Guido Zampano and my mother happens to be a good woman who cracked the whip on me and my brothers. It also seems that she had her ass saved by Lady Reiko in which most of the people on Baratheon view her as a religious figure due to the the religion known as Reikology being the mainstay for the slumdwellers."

"Well, she did take out Father Warren…"

"My mother is coming to assess the damage to the funhouse in which Henry Harker had one hell of a warrant that stemmed from the death of Catherine Maxwell on Lannister. He had a thing for little girls in which he lured them to his funhouse, raped them, killed them, and tossed them aside like broken toys that outlived their usefulness. When he finally came here to Cordell Island, he never saw it coming when Bloody Mary claimed him, which was justice enough for his victims."

I never expected the victim to be a pedophile as Guido pointed it out earlier. Still, I had no sympathy for those who ended up harming children as I thought about the ones who with Reiko and the others on Skald Island. As for the Bloody Mary debacle, it was written in the record books as I was glad that the spirit was trapped in a crystal prison in her own making, for this nightmare was something that I didn't want to go through again right now…

Minara was in the waiting room as he was napping on the couch after assessing my condition earlier. After what happened with the spirit of Bloody Mary, he vowed to never go to another funhouse again as he later woke up to the sound of Intergalactic Public Radio blaring through the speakers. Sitting up, he rubbed his eyes as he was glad that they weren't bleeding for once as he heard the news that was playing over the speakers, for it was the usual reports that were very boring indeed.

"From IPR news in Rivendell, I'm Jovie Perkins," said a newscaster over the radio. "A pipe bomb was found and diffused in the Drakonar city of Zetian in which the terrorist group, the Zenith Vectors have claimed responsibility in which they were ready to cause widespread panic in the streets. The spokesman for the group, Jacob Doran, has issued a statement saying that all humans have a piece of the pie and will keep the whole thing instead of the other humanoids living all over the Ashizoka System. In other news, the Stewards of Alecrast have issued a terror warning in which they have been aware of what the Zenith Vectors have been planning, for there has also been security checkpoints all over the regions in which the terror threat was taken seriously after the attack on a public transit train last week."

Minara saw the radio blare some classic music as he was worried about what was happening so far. He feared the worst from the Zenith Vectors as they were a hate group through and through, for they were a threat to everyone all over the entire Ashizoka System in general. When he got up on his feet, he left the waiting room as he went towards my hospital room in which I was sleeping soundly after the visit coming from Guido earlier. I was out of it as I was a heavy sleeper until I woke up in which I saw Minara getting out his medical bag in which he got out his stethoscope in order to listen to my heart and lungs, for he was worried about my health after last night's surge of raw power destroying the funhouse.

"Welcome back to the living," he said as he was listening to my heart with his stethoscope.

"No more funhouses," I said.

"After what happened last night, the Bloody Mary mess is in the bag. As for what also happened to us, we got a message from both Shion and Akio in which they heard about the Zenith Vector who tried to kill us on Shiganshina before you used your raw power to bring us here to Valinor in which we're on Cordell Island because of it."

"I had to do my best to protect you or else you would've been dead by now."

"You saved our asses again when you confronted Bloody Mary, but you'll end up getting an earful from Reuben if he saw you here right now."

"When it rains, it pours…"

It wasn't long until Minara put away his stethoscope as he was concerned about my health after I saved both him and Dean from the wrath of Bloody Mary last night. I was still tired as I wanted to go back to sleep after that in which I wasn't about to go without any form of food right now. I was starting to get hungry as wanted to get up from the hospital and return home to Skald Island right away, but I was too tired to move. What I didn't expect was that I was starting to fall asleep as I couldn't fight off the tiredness after what I went through, for it ended up making me lose my appetite before I closed my eyes. I was wanting more sleep than food as I was about to get some against my wishes, for I couldn't live without it after all.

"There's some breakfast being made at the Singer House," said Minara. "As soon as you're able, the better you'll feel."

"I'm not hungry right now," I said as I was trying to stay awake.

"You can't deprive yourself of food while you're in a hospital room, Sam. Besides, you can't starve yourself in bed, you know."

It wasn't long until I saw Dean entering into the room as he was glad that I was alive, but tired from what happened last night. He was worried about me as he wanted me to stay alive in which he refused to leave my side. Still, he had suffered loss, but he couldn't let it get to him as he didn't want to lose anyone else, for he had someone who was worthy of him waiting for him so far. When I opened my eyes again, I spotted him with a box of donuts in his hands as he opened up one of them and gave it to me, for he wasn't about to let me go without any food right now.

"About time that you woke up, Sammy," he said to me.

"I'm not too hungry, but I'm still tired right now," I said.

"You're not going anywhere until you eat that donut. It's a cruller filled with custard filling in which it's really good. You ought to try it before judging it."

I took a bite of the cruller as I tasted the custard that was in it. I never had a thing for donuts, but the cruller was a little too much as it helped to get my strength back after what happened in the funhouse last night. When I finished up eating my cruller, I began to drift off to sleep again as I could hardly stay awake right now. My body was out of it as I wanted to do more than just sleep. I wanted to simply lay comatose until I felt my body being lifted up until I felt a can being pressed to my lips the moment I tasted a strong beverage that had a hint of mocha in it. I tasted a strong coffee as the caffeine in it was more than enough to keep me awake the moment I got up and stared at Ravenna who was armed with some of the caffeinated beverages that were mainly strong enough to awaken an elephant, for it was something that was needed after all.

"Dean told me that you need a strong coffee after you ate that donut," she said to me.

"Oh, I was really tired," I said as I took the coffee and drank the rest of it.

"I got word from Akio in which there's been an increase in terrorist attacks coming from the Zenith Vectors. They're dangerous in which they'll stop at nothing to be top dog of all humanoids, which scares everyone to no end."

"And the ringleader won't stop until he comes out on top," said Dean as he was clenching his fists in anger. "Jacob Doran will get his ass handed to him when I get done with him."

"Save your rage for later," said Minara. "Besides, you're not the only one who lost loved ones, Dean. I also ended up nearly going dark until Sam finished off what I started, which was a better fitting instead of me succumbing to despair."

It wasn't long until we spotted members of the Medical Corps coming into the room as they were ready to collect me. I was very high-risk as I would soon be going back home soon, for I wanted to be with my family again. When I was put in a different stretcher, I was being wheeled out of my hospital room as I was put into a different room. What I didn't expect was that the Medical Corps team that took me out of my room were different as they removed their gowns and revealed red robes the moment they were ready to enact an incantation that I dreaded the most, for they were another sworn set of foes that were still active after the war.

"We finally meet you, Sam Winchester," said one of the robed men as he drew out a knife. "Once we dissect you, the better we force you to become Lucifer's vessel!"

"Your dark lord can't possess me! No one can!"

"We disguised ourselves as members of the Medical Corps in which we slit the throats of the ones we stole those robes from. As for you, you'll say yes to Lucifer whether you like it or not, for he won't let you out of his sight yet!"

"Not on my watch!" yelled Minara as he unleashed his angelic aura on the intruders who tried to kidnap me. "Sam Winchester is no one's vessel, you got that?!"

I watched Minara melt the eyes of the intruders in red robes as they fell to the ground with their eyes melted. He wasn't having it as he was not about to let me leave his sight in which he was there to protect me just as I did for everyone I cared about. It wasn't long until the real members of the Medical Corps arrived as they took me out of the room the moment they spotted the imposters who were dead on the floor. Still, I was a very easy target again as I also had to be guarded, for everyone wanted the raw power that I had right now…
