Authors Notes- Look! The Exhausted writer decided to write another story. And as much as I love Transformers Prime I figured I'd show some love to the series that got me into Transformers so many years ago. Transformers Armada. Because I recently rewatched it and well, then plot bunnies formed so yeah. And in doing so rekindled my love for that show, and Jetfire.

And as you can gather I don't known Transformers that belongs to Hasbro. I only own the OC's Moondust and Snowstorm. Everything else belongs to their rightful owners. Now that we got that out of the way here is the first chapter to Beyond The Starry Sky.

Prologue: Sea Of Stars

Moondust hated the silence, even as she and her too quiet companion drifted through space in their little two seater of a ship. The purple and white femme heaved a sigh. Her head in her hands as she peered out at the endless seas of stars, a sight she had once adored. But after countless cycles she had quickly grown tired of it. Bored of all of this. Sure, energon scouting never promised to be interesting, or exciting but still she expected something more. Hell, Moondust thought as she turned away from the passenger side window.

Looking at the dark blue and white femme piloting the tiny vessel, blue optics staring out the window. Her face plate impassive. She wasn't going to lie, she had at least expected her companion to be a bit more talkative. Sure, Snowstorm was friendly enough, and when they had some time off she was fun to be around. But the other femme was too damned quiet.

She didn't need to be overly chatty, just something to kill time once in a while. Hell, the conversation could be about anything even about the Decepticon/Autobot war that was currently raging on in a bid to control all of the minicons. A war, Moondust and Snowstorm, as Neutrals weren't apart of. Sure, Moondust thought, as she leaned back in her seat. She understood why they were fighting, but if she was being honest, she didn't want any part of it. Sure, they had been asked to join, and had declined opting instead to help in their own way by searching for energon.

It was the least they could do. Letting out an annoyed sigh Moondust turned to Snowstorm, who glanced in her direction, optic ridge raised in confusion.

"This is SO boring, have you at least managed to find anything?" Moondust asked., finally breaking that unbearable silence.

Snowstorm looked to Moondust before shaking her head. "Sorry." Snowstorm said, quietly. Her optics going back to her scanners. "It's been radio silence for a while now."

"Then why are we still out here?' Moondust asked. "Why not head back and report in?"

Snowstorm opened her mouth to answer, when suddenly she caught sight of a blip on her scanners. Her optics narrowed as she studied it. Nothing. Obviously her mind was playing tricks on her- There it was again! Snowstorm's optics lit up as she studied the reading, and felt her spark sink.

"Oh no..." she groaned, dread forming in the pit of her tank.

"What?" Moondust asked.

Getting out of her seat, and moving to stand beside her companion. "What is it?"

A grim look crossed over Snowstorm's face plate as she looked up at her. "Decepticons."

Fear gripped Moondust's spark in a vice as she looked out the window. And here she had been hoping for something to ease the boredom. This, she thought, was not what she wanted. "We're unarmed." She whispered, fear threatening to over come her as she struggled to her seat once more.

Snowstorm nodded at Moondust's comment. Sadly, as much as she would love to put some hurt on some Decepticon creeps their flimsy little shuttle was no match for the heavily armored Decepticon ships that were armed. However, they did have one advantage. Speed. Gritting her denta and seeing no other options Snowstorm intended on out running these 'Cons. And maybe, if they were lucky she and Moondust would find some place to hide.

Little did the two femmes know was that their boring little lives would soon change forever...

Authors Notes- I know this chapter wasn't that great. I won't lie I struggled a bit but it is only the first chapter, and I hope you liked it none the less. And I'll try and get the next chapter up as soon as possible. Also sorry my OC's seem a little flat right now, that will soon change as the fic goes on. And this is The Exhausted Writer signing off, have a good night.
