I thought about different names for this fic, such as Glory Days or Tip Tap Tips, but I think Don't Look Back Works. TL;DR, this is an AU that takes place a year before the start of MHA/BnHA. Read, enjoy, and REVIEW!
I don't own BnHA/MHA
She couldn't help it.
The different hues of crimson were a marvel to look at, the metallic smell and the metallic taste overwhelmed her senses, and the way it coated her tongue and teeth made it a joy to enjoy, even the texture of how it feels when it dries on her felt enjoyable in it's own way. It was all intoxicating!
And then, what happens next with her quirk… It. Is. MAGICAL!
The jolt of electricity that would run through her spine, sending waves of pleasant shivers through her body when she consumed blood. It gave her such a rush of energy that it perked her up like no other, it was a hundred times better than drinking energy drinks loaded with caffeine and sugar! And then there was her transformation, when she became the one who's (human-ish) blood she consumed! Becoming an entirely new person, especially the person she loves and admires~
What else could it be if not magic?
"An abomination! Ugh, such wretched quirk! Honestly, it's horrid!" Himiko's mother ranted.
"Yes mother," Himiko said as she sat quietly on the couch in her school uniform and her blonde hair down. Once again, her mother caught her drinking blood from another pet she wasn't supposed to have. Turns out turtles smell. But in her defense, Mr. Tuggles was a super adorable turtle! Who wouldn't want to drink a cute and lovable turtle's blood?
"Honestly, why can't you be normal like your sister? She doesn't break the rules, bring in strays, and puncture them for blood! You're my oldest daughter! You are supposed to be the one who sets the example!"
"Sorry mother," was all she could say as her mother continued her rant. Honestly? She was just glad her father was still at work, his glare is the stuff of nightmares.
Himiko sat there and took all that her mother had to say, glancing at the window every once in a while.
She could do it. She could go into an immediate sprint, jump out the window, and hang somewhere else for the night. It honestly wouldn't be the first time…. But the last time she did it, it ended with both her parents chastising her for causing them so much trouble and an extra set of etiquette lessons for her to behave as a "proper young lady."
So she tightened her grip on her clothes and bore her mother's rant.
"Honestly, how did I end up with a daughter like you!?"
She didn't answer, she just waited until her mother ran out of steam and told her to go to bed...
"Why can't you be normal?!"
Easier said than done….
"You-hoo~" One of her friends greeted as Himiko made it to the intersection
She has pale-pink colored skin and a long neck, neck length white hair that was parted by her ears that were located near her forehead.
"Good morning," Himiko properly greeted.
"Mornin' Toga," her other friend greeted with a lot of enthusiasm, she had gray-colored afro with two flesh-colored antennae that poked out the sides like a pair of horns.
"HEY WAIT UP!" Behind the reunited trio of girls, two girls quickly rushed to join them. One had long black hair that reached down to her elbows, the last girl has a small round face with short reddish-brown hair that looked almost like a helmet.
And so another "glorious" day (as her brunette friend would put it) began for Himiko.
The girls around her began to talk about random stuff, some she joined into, others she mostly ended up nodding or shaking her head to while saying as little words as possible. They surrounded her with positive energy and cheeriness and Himiko reflected that same energy back as best as she could.
The days sort of faded for her.
School, footlocker, class, morning attendance, lecture.
It was the same cycle over and over again.
Like most students, she had a wondering mind that caused her focus to drift. The latest cute dress on sale, crimson colored with a white fluffy fur, interesting villain-hero altercation, the blood of said hero she's interested in being spilled, her future and how her class had anything to do with it, getting a lovey dovey boyfriend...and blood. Mostly blood.
The teacher talked and talked while calling on students. Sometimes it was her and sometimes she would have the answer, but it did little to settle her urge to just run out of the class.
But she bore with it.
She was running.
It was just supposed to be a warm up. But she still ran as best as she could.
Her school had three choices of sports to play for physical education, she chose soccer.
She passed another group of girls when it finally kicked in. A runner's high.
It wasn't blood but it felt good enough to make her forget about, well, everything in general, even blood.
She told her mother and counselor the first time it happened and they both encouraged her to keep on running. If she could replace her irritable urges with something better, then everything would be normal. So she kept running, getting faster and faster.
By the time they were done running, she was breathing hard, but smiling.
"Dang Toga, you really give it your all, huh?" Some girl, who's name Himiko forgot, said.
"Well she is on Track, she's just being responsible," another girl reasoned.
"I like running," Himiko commented.
After a few stretches, the game started.
It was a normal match. Like usual, she went at it as best she could, it wasn't hard, especially because she enjoyed it.
She could run as fast and as freely as she wanted so long as she got the ball and took it to the goal. It was hard at first, getting the ball, but she got better at it. While most girls in her class rushed for the ball head on, Himiko preferred sneaking up on the person who had it from their blind spot. It isn't easy since the ball is constantly moving from person to person. Because of that, she got good at seizing the moment when the opportunity presented itself.
When their attention was away from her, even if it was only for a brief instance, she would hold her breath and run with all her might, and at the last second, right before they realized she's there, she stole the ball!
"EH?" The girl let out, wait-that was one of her friends. Her friend was shocked beyond all belief as Himiko stole the ball she had been kicking and ran away with it.
As soon as the girls on the other team noticed, they quickly went on the attack. Sadly for them, Himiko had a lot better footwork than they did. She had to learn to move better, otherwise she would have to slow down, or stop running altogether, in order to pass the ball.
She didn't want to slow down nor stop running. Therefore, she didn't think to pass the ball if she didn't have to. She wanted to keep running without anyone chastising her! So she ran with glee, ball moving forward without breaking her stride. Her heart pumping, sweat cooling her skin, her mind experiencing a rush as she ran forward. She'd be laughing with joy if she wasn't trying to keep her breathing in control.
If someone got in front of her, she'd simply kick the ball past them, just out of their reach, and breeze by the girls and reunite with the ball behind them. Had she learned few soccer tricks with the ball, she could've been very showy, but that wasn't her interest. She just wanted to keep on running!
One girl tried to tackle her! Not that Himiko minds, in fact she welcomed it. That said, she still dodged, the girl was no match for her foot work and ended up body-slamming the ground. Falling in soccer wasn't anything out of the ordinary~
Himiko was right by the goal, the goalie ready to block her. As focused as the goalie was, it wasn't hard for Himiko to confuse the goalie. She went left and right, then left before kicking the ball into the net. As the ball sailed forward, the goalie's body was still going right while trying to turn left. So it should come to no surprise that Himiko scored a goal.
"ALL RIGHT!" the various girls on her team cheered.
"Maybe you should have joined the soccer team instead of Track and Field," some girl commented.
She said nothing as she smiled and caught her breath. She initially wanted to, but her parents had said it was not worthy of the Toga family name, that it was such a messy and dirty sport. Track and Field just barely made the cut, but her mother and father would have preferred if Himiko was in gymnastics, the far more elegant choice. In fact they urged her several times and even had her try it out. She was a natural, but she felt too constrained by it, so she went with Track and Field.
Before she was forced to say something, a commotion caught everyone's attention.
It was the girl who had tried tackling Himiko. She got a bruise on her knee and it was bleeding.
This was the other reason she loved soccer~
"Oh, I'll take her to the nurse's office!" She quickly volunteered.
"Oh you're such a nice person," came the various assorted compliments from her classmates. But she didn't care about that.
She quickly helped the girl to the nurses office, Himiko's clean handkerchief pressed right against the now bleeding wound. Her fabric filling up with yummy yummy goodness, she didn't mind if it felt a bit earthy~
She could feel her face heating up just thinking about it!
Sadly, however, after they got there….
"Don't worry about it, you can come pick it up after you are done with your club activities," the school nurse said as she began to soak the bloody handkerchief, much to Himiko's dismay, underneath the running faucet.
"It'll be good as new, I promise," the nurse beamed with a comforting smile.
"Ah, b-but," Himiko began as diluted crimson liquid began to run down the drain.
"Class is not over yet, you better hurry back," the nurse said, not at all realizing that Himiko was upset.
"...Okay…."
"Mrmm," Himiko whined with a depressed look as she stared down at her now-dry and clean handkerchief. After school activities were canceled because a villain had wrecked a few facilities the school had, like the field and gym before being apprehended...sadly no one was injured. So she was just hanging out with her friends.
"Oh relax, Toga," one of her friends said, the one with the afro, "it wasn't your fault."
"Yeah besides, accidents in sports happen a lot," her long necked friend said.
"Honestly, at this point people should know better than to try and tackle you," her friend with the long black hair said. "To begin with its soccer, so tackling isn't allowed to begin with."
"Thanks guys," Himiko accepted their attempts to cheer her up with a sigh, they meant well, but she was simply upset for an entirely different reason. Honestly! It was just a bloody handkerchief! Was there any reason to worry about it!?
"We're here for you," her round faced brunette friend added. Well that's what they say, but when she brought up a "joke" about them making a blood pact, they all made disgusted faces. It wasn't even anything grandiose, at most a pin prick on the finger! Just enough for her to be able to sample all of them and not let it be weird. After all, licking a bleeding finger isn't weird, right? Everyone does it.
Either way, after seeing the faces they made, what little trust she thought she could extend to them died that night; friends they may be, a comfort they were not. Yet, despite it all, she still hung out with them. They were, admittedly, fun to talk to, cute, and they all had something special that earned a very tiny portion of her admiration. Not to mention if she hung out with them, her mother and father took it as a good sign and left her alone, and they did help distract her from her cravings. Sadly, when they didn't, all she could think about was the magic that is the taste of their blood.
"Oh, twelve-o-clock," her long necked friend said in a hushed whisper and a light blush.
Right in front of the group was a trio of boys, among them was Satou. He was taller than average for a boy, black curly afro, light blue eyes, and a cute face. Not only was he good looking, he was also pretty popular around their school for his basketball prowess, his toned body didn't hurt either.
"Hm? Oh, hey Toga!" Satou called out to her with a smile as his group waited for Himiko's group to catch up. Another thing about Satou, he was into Himiko.
"Yo, Himiko," a guy with short blond hair greeted her with a solute wave and casual use of her given name. She didn't remember his name, something with an N, she just dubbed him as "Knowman" cause he knows things due to his quirk( and everyone started using it short after) and he was also interested in her.
The third boy, who her long necked friend has a crush on, simply waved.
"OoooOOOOOooooo~" All her friends let out in a low musical tone in an attempt to fluster Himiko secretly, though they needn't have bothered trying to be discrete. The two guys who are "friends" glanced at each other with a lot of intensity, ignoring the world around them. There were no glares, but you could see the rivalry. That said, the girls did make her blush.
"Guys c'mon," Himiko pleaded as she grabbed her cheeks in embarrassment.
Both boys were good looking and had their merits. Knowman, like his (nick)namesake, was extremely knowledgeable, but in a manner that never seemed nerdy or snooty. That said, Knowman's not above using what he knows to get what he wants. Satou, as mentioned before, was extremely athletic and kind. He always assumes the best of people, though he does tend to unknowingly foist his beliefs on others. She kinda admires them both, she kinda wants to be them and experience the magic~
She focused as best she could on the conversation the now extended group was having, but it bore Himiko.
Every once in a while, someone would ask her opinion of something and she'd have to bite the bullet and ask them to repeat the question. Then she gave a few safe answers and no one thought any different of her. She was beginning to have a little fun before her phone vibrated.
She got a text, it was from her mother reminding her to visit her quirk counselor.
"I know that look," her afro friend said, "your mom wants you to meet her somewhere."
"Yeah," Himiko lied.
"Aw no fair, we were about to go karaoke!" Her other friend whined.
Is that what we were doing? Himiko wondered, she was honestly just mindlessly following them around so she really didn't have a clue what the plan was.
"Just bail," Knowman said with an uncaring wave. "It's not like you want to go anyway." He was right, she really didn't.
"Well it's her mom, she can't exactly flake without getting in trouble," Satou said, which was also a great point that also qualified for her actual dilemma.
She sighed.
"Satou's right," Himiko said, "sorry guys," she apologised politely.
After a quick apology, and seeing Satou sad but a bit happy and Knowman a little jealous, Himiko was on her way.
...
Halfway there she decided to flake after all.
She walked a random direction, not really caring if her mother chastised her later. Her mother would do it again sooner or later anyway.
Besides, her meeting always went the same way:
[Are you sticking to the mental exercises to get your mind off your quirk?]
The ones that agitated her? Newp.
[Have you kept up running? How is that going?]
It's going great! But she wished she had more freedom than just running circles on a track as fast as she could like a lunatic. It was driving her crazy!
[Are you doing your best to avoid trying to find ways to get blood from your classmates?]
She...wasn't actively thinking of putting them in harms way, that said, she wasn't thinking of helping them either….
[Are you still taking your medication and taking it whenever you get the urge to drink blood?]
She was not, she didn't like the side effects.
After that, there was the exposure therapy where she had to actively fight the urge lap up some random blood her quirk counselor would put in front of her, which was torture. To add insult to injury, the counselor would put dirt and other stuff on it, making it very unappetizing. For Himiko it was both sadistic torture and well...wasteful.
She hated it.
The medication, the therapy from her counselor, the "friends," the "happy" family image her mother cultivated, it just felt like she was being smothered. Each day she was suffocating and she desperately wanted to breathe, and her quirk brought her that respite. She could be-
"An abomination!" Her mother's words echoed in her head.
She took a turn into a random alley while glaring at the floor.
As she thought about it all, all her frustration and pent up desires, she got the urge to experience the magic once more. She really wanted to experience it so badly!
She bit into the middle knuckle of her index finger, not enough to draw blood but enough to feel a little pain. Her face heated up a little as she found the act to be more than just comforting. Just a bit more and she would draw blood….
"Hey, wait, where are you going?" she heard Satou's voice. She turned to look at the entrance of the alley way.
"Where else, to find Himiko," Knowman answered truthfully. "You know as well as I do that she didn't want to go to wherever the hell it is she's going to."
She realized that the two boys were talking to each other while looking for her, Himiko hid behind some random junk and held her breath and went still. Two cute boys looking for her, especially ones she admires? Who wouldn't get flustered?
"Yeah, but she'd get in trouble if she didn't-"
"She probably flaked already," she heard Knowman say. "And she wasn't meeting her mom either, it was probably a therapist or something."
Satou paused.
"And? Soooooo, she's...dealing with something, we all need help once in a while," he argued, though he sounded less sure of himself.
"You idiot, she doesn't want to go, hell I doubt she wanted to go karaoke with all of us either, she's was way too guarded around us. This is why you shouldn't get your hopes up. You don't understand a single thing about her," he accused.
"I know you're wrong, and it's wrong to use your quirk like that! She's a good person and she's energetic and charming, she deserves her privacy! She's just going through something and needs a little help dealing with it. I bet you she's on her way to wherever it is she's going and she'll be better for it!"
She actually wasn't and she doubted it, but she found it very endearing that he thought that about her, it also made her feel slightly guilty, but still put a bit of color on her cheeks.
"Oh yeah, then why did you follow me?" Knowman asked.
"You can be persuasive, you could have-"
"Could have what? Asked her out on a date?"
At the mention of the word, she thought about how that would go. It honestly, wouldn't take much convincing to get her to agree. Then afterwards on the date…the thought made her cheeks redder!
"Look, let's just go back, alright?" Satou asked.
"I'm not stopping you," Knowman said as he continued walking forward.
From her hiding spot, she could see Satou make a sour face before he followed after Knowman.
Her cheeks were still flushed. Satou thought the best of her, and Knowman could understand her better than both her family and friends combined. To have the two pine after her, it was more than enough to make any one blush let alone herself.
For a moment, she wondered what would happen if she asked the two to share their blood with her.
The looks of disgust her friends gave her, her mother scowling, her dad glaring, her little sister….
Himiko bawled her hands into tight fists.
That feeling came back, being smothered and unable to breathe.
She continued walking, thinking as she did so.
She could see the boys happily consent to giving her blood, to let her experience the magic, but she could also imagine their disgusted faces. She doesn't want to imagine that, let alone see it actually happen. She doesn't want to be in a world where she has to see such...ugliness.
What she really wanted was…..
"Fuckin' Deku!" A shout brought Himiko out of her thoughts.
"Hn?" She looked around...where the heck was she? Sure, she was lost in thought, but she didn't think it was this bad!
She wasn't in an alleyway anymore… she wasn't even in the middle of the city anymore!
Where did the sea come from? How did she miss all the trees?
...Why is a beach filled with garbage? It was practically a landfill! Some of it even spilled onto the sidewalk that was at higher elevation….how the heck does something like this happen in a public space?
After gathering her bearings, she realized she was in some sort of park that had obviously seen better days. The dense forest still seems okay, but the beach was obviously the community's landfill now.
"Kacchan stop it!" Another voice caught her attention. She got closer to the voices, shifting her school bag as she approached.
It was coming from further down the sidewalk, near the staircase that leads down to the garbage covered beach. In front of the steps is another trail through the forest. At the moment it was occupied by a group of boys.
"This isn't your business, Deku!"
"Yeah, run on home you quirkless reject!"
"Yeah, besides, this bitch was askin' for it!"
She snuck close them, hiding behind various trees while still finding a way to peek at the commotion, and held her breath and effaced her presence. There were five boys in total wearing black uniforms that were obviously from a different school than the one she went to.
It was three against two...well, one really.
Of the trio, there was a guy with spiky blond hair that spoke loudly, another guy with long light brown hair that parted almost like a bad corn whisk broom, and a guy who looked average with short black hair that was styled up into short spikes that looked tastefully messy.
In front of them were two other guys. One was on the floor with tears and snot on his face, bald with chrome colored skin and six circles on his forehead. In front of him, standing with shaking legs, is Satou-
Himiko blinked. Then blinked again and again.
No, not Satou, Himiko realized.
For starters, the guy has green hair and green eyes, maybe an inch shorter, and he looked scared and about to make a mess of his pants. Not only that, he also looked...weak. Where Satou was athletic and toned, this green haired lookalike was basically a flimsy noodle that was all battered up. The face was mostly alright, but his clothes were a mess.
"This guy," the brown haired guy continued while extending his fingers at odd angles (a quirk?) to point at the crying guy on the floor, "talked shit about us."
"Tch, yeah, and more importantly, he snitched on us," the blacked haired guy said.
"If I had gotten in actual trouble, it would have hurt my chances of getting into UA," the blond said letting out a series of small explosion from his hand, "so I gotta rectify this behavior."
"Then you never should have done it in the first place, Kacchan! You shouldn't do this, heroes don't do this!" The green haired guy shouted, it was obvious he was scared but he still stood up!
His reward was a body blow to the gut.
The green haired noodle coughed as he keeled over clutching his abdomen. Himiko felt a pleasant chill go down her spine when she saw that.
"I told you to quit calling me that! Keep irritating me like this and you'll see what happens, Deku!" the blond guy shouted that before pointing his hand and letting a loud explosion the blew the green haired noodle onto his stomach.
"Buaaaaaaaaaah!" the bald chrome guy on the floor cried out and started running away. He scrambled on all fours before he pushed himself onto two feet and started running for his life!
"HEY!"
"Where the hell-"
The other two guys were about to chase the bald chrome guy when the blond kid stopped them.
"Bah, leave him, he still has to show up to school tomorrow," the blond dismissed the runner.
"D-don't," the "Deku" guy forced out as he tried to stand up, using the tree behind him as leverage.
"Ah man, look at him go," the brown haired guy said with amusement while the black haired guy whistled.
"It's like this quirkless reject wants to be a punching bag, at this point we might as well make it his honorary quirk." The black haired guy marvelled with mirth.
"The Incredible Deku, his honorary quirk: Punching Bag~" The brown haired guy said in a fake old-timey announcer voice with a tiny musical tone that actually had pretty good inflection on it. "Punt him down, and he'll get righ' back up for y'er convenience~"
"Hah hah hahh," the "Kacchan" guy laughed with a smile, "hey, that's actually pretty good."
"I keep telling him, but he doesn't believe me," the black haired guy said with an exaggerated shrug while the brown haired guy adopted a very sheepish look.
"Aw shucks, you guys really think so?" The brown hair guy asked with a small smile while rubbing the back of his head. The trio already having forgotten about the green haired Deku guy.
"Yeah man, you should start a podcast or something," the black haired guy encouraged his friend.
"At least then you have a shot at being something," the Kacchan guy teased with a laugh.
"Hey, I can always be a hero," the guy argued.
"Oh get real! Out of anyone in our school, I'm the only one with an actually shot of getting into UA's hero course, after that it's number one hero all the way," he declared. "And if anyone gets in my way I'll crush them, be it All Might or some random nobody!"
"At least try to act like a hero," Deku said while leaning against the tree, making his presence known.
Kacchan didn't say anything. He stood quiet for a good moment.
"Eh, sure, why not?" He eventually said with a shrug, much to the surprise of the remaining three boys next to him.
"Huh/wait-what?" his two friends let out in confusion.
Kacchan ignored them and turned to fully face Deku with a manic grin and pointed at him.
"Just what the hell do you think you're doing!" the blonde Kacchan shouted.
"...huh?" Deku let out in confusion.
"Don't think you can hide it from us!" Kacchan continued, "Where the hell do you get off bullying a classmate?! Huh!? DEKU!?"
"...What?!" Deku let out in confusion.
The blond's two friends looked at each other and grinned, figuring out their blond friend's plan.
"Yeah Deku, you think it's cool to push around Chrome-Dome just cause he's weaker than you? Sick man! How eff'd up is that?" The brunette said with a mocking smile.
"Seriously Deku? Wailing on a poor defenceless noob for nothing? How could you do something so heinous?"
It was at this point that the Deku guy visibly realized what the trio were doing. He was stunned, clearly shocked by what they were saying, but he shook his head.
"I know what you guys are doing and it's not goin-" he didn't get to finish. The blond Kacchan has been slowly getting closer to the Deku guy until he sprung into action! He thrust his hands behind him, causing an explosion that propelled him forward, nearly sending his own friend tumbling, and quickly closed the gap between himself and Deku. When he was close enough he used his quirk to lunch his right arm forward and punch Deku guy in the face!
Deku fell backward, and jolt went down Himiko's spine.
"Get real, Deku! That chrome asshole will say whatever we want him to! After all, if we play the hero, then you gotta play the villain!"
"It's about the only thing he can be when you think about it," the black haired kid said.
"I honestly can't decide if it's funny or sad this quirkless reject thinks he can be a pro hero," the Brunette laughed.
"Fat chance for this weirdo. Even if you were normal and had a quirk, it still wouldn't happen!"
"Tha-thats not true," Deku said while holding his mouth, blooding tricking down his arm, tears swelling from his . "Your wrong," He forced himself to stand. "So what if I'm not normal, I'll still be hero, I'll be-"
Kacchan planted a foot on his chest and kicked him back on the ground.
"Get real ya nutcase! C'mon let's go, my mood's ruined." The blond said with disgust as he turned around. He walked to a nearby tree and grabbed a backpack off the ground, probably his.
"Same, beating on the mentally feeble leaves a bad taste in my mouth," the black haired guy said, he followed the blond's example and picked a bag off the floor. "Hey wait….Oh score! That chrome retard left his bag and wallet behind!"
"Huh? You serious?" Kacchan glanced at him in surprise.
"Holy shit, he did," the brown haired guy said after grabbing another bag off the floor, "it has his address and everything. Oh this is gonna be fun!"
The trio left as they walk, the brown haired guy and the black haired guy pitching ideas as the laughed and walked. It didn't talk long for them to disappear.
Leaving behind Deku, alone and isolated.
Deku tried to stand up, but ended up tumbling against a tree, tears in his eyes and blood trailing from his lips.
When Himiko blinked, she found that she had gotten closer to the scene of the crime, so to speak, without realizing it. Her body slowly made her way there without anyone noticing. As she looked around she could see another school bag with books thrown about, a lot of it notebooks, but she didn't pay them any mind.
She looked both ways, no one was around. Just a sobbing green haired Satou-lookalike named a Deku. She looked at him again, focusing on the bright hue of crimson goodness dribbling down the his chin.
Her frustration from the night before from her mother chastising her, her failed attempt from earlier to acquire blood from earlier, the image of all her friends and love-ones making disgusted faces on her mind, it hit her like a wave.
She wanted...needed to feel the magic.
Be it a trick of the mind or maybe her senses being sharper than usual, but from where she stood she could smell Deku's blood.
Without needing her prompt, her body moved forward, directly towards Deku.
He hadn't noticed, he was still busy with trying to stand on his feet without shaking. He wasn't even looking up, he was looking at his red shoes as he tried to steady himself, his tears and blood dripping on the floor. Her mind thought back to the exposure therapy, the sadistic nature of it all and the utter waste.
She was already magic-blocked, she was not about to let it happen again!
Himiko quickly closed the distance between herself and Deku.
"Huh?" Deku let out as he looked up at her approaching figure, she hooked her arms around him.
"Wha-wha-" he let out as his body jerked in reaction, he let out a pained cry as he did so while madly blushing, but Himiko didn't let him go.
She isn't going to let go of this chance, her mind, body, and soul refused to let out another opportunity go to waste!
The bit of crimson goodness trailing down and drying on his chin, she licked it.
Deku let out some sort of weird sound of surprise, but Himiko hardly noticed, she was too caught up in the rush she felt. She felt a jolt travel from the tip of her tongue to the rest of body, not unlike licking a battery. She quickly forced her mouth on him, roughly smashing her lips against his.
His body trembled and jerked as she forced her tongue into his mouth. She could feel Deku's panic through her body, the way his noodle body wriggle and jerked against her own, and how his voice vibrated through her mouth and lips, she found more pleasure in his struggle than she thought she would!
Still, despite his best efforts, he could not break free from Himiko. He was a lot weaker than Himiko though and the fact that he roughed up earlier probably didn't helped, not that she mined and even cared to think about it too deeply. She had closed her eyes and focused on exploring every nook and cranny of his mouth for more of that crimson goodness! Each bit of blood she lapped sent wave after wave of pleasure through her body.
When no more pleasure came, she parted her mouth from his, a thin thread of saliva connecting them before it ripped. She took a deep breath, her face grinning manically with red cheeks. Though her eyes were on his eyes, she wasn't actually able to see him, her mind was still on the rush and pleasure her body felt.
It was the Deku guy's body going limp that brought her back to reality. She prevented his body from dropping on reflex, but it still went down pretty hard. His back was against the tree, his face beet red, his head looking more like an actual tomato. Though he had his eyes open, it was clear that he was passed out. Though a part of him did seem lively….
Himiko blinked as she stared at his checked-out green eyes. They kinda creeped her out, so she closed his eye lids.
Then it hit her.
"Oh my god," Himiko let out as her face turned a deeper shade of red. Her body practically acted on auto pilot, she did it without thinking! When she finally came to her senses she realized what she had done! What her mouth and tongue did!.
"I-I," Himiko stuttered to herself, "I took a boy's blood without asking!"
Author's note, Totally Skippable:
This is more of me trying to do a character study of Himiko Toga and seeing if I can actually write the character based on clues that we know about her as of chapter 273 of the manga.
I have few fics in the work where Izuku comes into contact with Himiko Toga, like Sixteen. When writing, I came to a stark realization...outside of Toga being blonde, bubbly, and having an obsession with blood and violence that is probably due to her quirk, I don't actually know anything about her. Like how she has her skills when she's only a year older than Izuku(11 months) or what specifically about Stain garnered her admiration, how did she choose her victims, and so and so forth.
So this fic was just me trying to answer those questions based on what clues I found and trying to understand her a bit better. Though it is obvious that I'm putting her on a different path.
It is said that Himiko was receiving therapy for her quirk in some manner, and I figured that similar methods used to treat conditions such as OCD probably wouldn't be too strange to use in Himiko's case, which would frustrate her.
For her skills, I figured it wouldn't be too out there if she already had the building blocks for it, such as being part of a sports group. We don't know much about how sports are handled in MHA with everyone having a quirk, but I don't believe it was rid of all together. Himiko is known for being fast and agile, able to maneuver herself through a crowd of pro heroes, not unlike a basketball or a soccer player. So I went with soccer. Since she is fast, I figured that her being in Track and Field wouldn't be too strange, especially if it temporarily got her mind off of blood and her frustrations, allowing her to genuinely enjoy running and being fast.
It was shown that she was basically pretending to be "normal" around her friends and the way it was reported that she was the "eldest daughter of the Toga Family" suggests that maybe her family is in situation where appearances matter more than normal, leading to her parents forcing expectations on her and her friends being her way to get them off her back instead of her actually liking them.
The two guys were shown to be in her flashback, a blond and a guy who looks like Izuku, though I think blond is probably more of a background filler character to be honest. Seeing as (I'm assuming) satou got into a fist fight that was probably for her sake, and she is regarded as cute in series, it would not be out of place to have boys fighting over her.
In canon, izuku in his last year of middle school basically has no spine to stand up to Bakugo anymore, but I'm willing to bet that the year before, Izuku probably had a tiny bit of spine left before Bakugo obliterated it.
For Himiko's quirk, I made it seem like it was something magical to her, not exactly sexual gratification, but close to it. And then being contradicted and told to deny it would probably frustrate her and hurt her emotionally.
Um, in regards to Satou's reaction to Toga seeing a therapist, I could be wrong, but I've heard that mental issues and therapy in general aren't seen in a good light in Japan.
Well these are my thoughts, lemme know what you think, and remember, reviews motivate us writers to write more!
