Authors Notes- And here I am back again with yet another chapter to Beyond The Starry Sky. As you can gather by now I don't own Transformers, but I do own both Moondust and Snowstorm. Now that we got that out of the way here is Chapter Three. I hope you enjoy!
Chapter Three: Dreams.
She was back on Cybertron, walking through the streets, a faint smile on her dark blue faceplate. Bright blue optics shining brightly as she looked up at the sky. She had just got her pilots license and was going to go celebrate with her sisters. Jeopardy and Omega. After all, Snowstorm thought, nodding as she passed several other Neutrals. Now that I've obtained it means I will be able to take to the stars. Sure, she could have joined the Autobots and aided in their cause, but she didn't want to get involved in their war. She would much rather be her own bot, and do what she wanted within reason, of course.
Sure, she would still be taking orders, and of course she would be delivering energon and other such things to both Autobot and Decepticon alike, but Snowstorm was her own bot through and through.
"Hey, hey, Snowy!" A voice called out to her, jerking Snowstorm from her thoughts.
Stopping in her tracks she rolled her optics, and let out an irritated groan. There was only one person in all of Cybertron that called her Snowy. Despite the fact that Snowstorm had told him time and time again. Turning around she saw Oil Slick, someone...she would rather not interact with if she really had a choice. But Oil Slick had other ideas as the black and sliver Neutral closed the distance between them, green optics narrowed as he looked her over. Snowstorm suppressed the urge to groan and roll her optics at him. Oil Slick stopped a few feet from her. Oil Slick was one of those mechs that didn't know when to give up. As the mech in question had seemed to have an interest in Snowstorm. One she had no intention of returning. And she had told him that over and over again that she wasn't interested in any way shape or form.
And somehow Oil Slick just couldn't take a hint. And now Snowstorm was slowly reaching her limits, her good mood dissipating in the blink of an eye, a frown graced her features. However, before either of them could utter a word there was aloud explosion that caught them both off guard. Looking up they could see smoke billowing from one of the buildings, however before Snowstorm could register what was going on several more explosions sounded. Followed the sounds of screams and blaster fire rang out. She didn't know it at first but today was the beginning of the war that would take away everything she held dear.
The ground shook as explosives sounded all around her. The sky, the very sky she had admired was now shrouded in smoke, and Snowstorm was sitting here in the crumbling remains of a building along with several others. Someone was crying, others were whispering among themselves as blaster fire sounded from somewhere down the street. They needed to get out of here before they were discovered and killed.
Turning away from the cracked window Snowstorm looked around the darkened room. Seeing a yellow and pink femme huddled in the corner, tears streaming down her faceplate, huddled closer to her were two sparklings looking around tearfully. At the opposite wall lay a mech with black and green armor. Energon stained his armor, two other mechs huddled close to him. Snowstorm didn't know any of the Neutrals hiding here, but she knew she couldn't leave them behind.
The blaster fire sounded closer now, Snowstorm's spark was beating faster and faster as she looked over her shoulder. She didn't know what she would do if the Decepticons found them. She was no fighter, sure, if worst came to worst she would. But she knew that things would not end well for her. However, before she could formulate a plan there was another loud explosion that shook the building. And elicited screams from Snowstorm and the others as dust rained down on the terrified Neutrals. And soon the roof collapsed, debris raining down on them before everything went black.
"Hey, you're awake!" Snowstorm woke to a warm male voice.
Letting out a pained groan Snowstorm on-lined her optics, and found herself staring up at an unfamiliar ceiling. She was no longer trapped within the remains of the crumbled building. She instead found herself in a hospital room. Somehow she was still alive. Looking around the room her optics settled on a good and green Autobot. Warm, blue optics fixed on her.
"Wh-where am I?" Snowstorm managed to choke out, as the strange Autobot handed her an energon cube, which Snowstorm took without much hesitation.
Earning a chuckle from him. Silence soon permeated the small hospital room when Snowstorm placed the empty energon cube down on the table, before looking around once more.
"So," the Autobot spoke, jerking her from her thoughts. "Do you have a name?" he asked her.
Snowstorm was silent as she looked to the strange mech. She couldn't put her finger on it but there was just something about this strange mech that intrigued her.
These last few hours, Moondust thought, dim optics staring up at the ceiling. Had been intense. First they had been shot out of the sky, then ambushed by Decepticons, and now...now Moondust had no idea where she was now. She recalled an Autobot coming to her rescue when the Decepticons had attacked her. Then...nothing... Letting out a groan Moondust moved to sit up, only to collapse back on the berth she was laying on.
Well, this is just great. She thought darkly, hissing through her denta. If I had known that things would end up like this I would have stayed home. But then Snowstorm would have been alone and-SNOWSTORM! Moondust's optics snapped on-line as she remembered her friend. Propping herself om her elbows she heaved a relieved sigh when she saw the blue and white femme laying beside her, optics dark.
Was she? Biting down on her bottom lip Moondust reached out to her, when the sound of a door sliding open caught her attention, making her pull her hand back as she looked up.
"Ah, I see you're finally awake." A male voice spoke, startling her.
Moondust was struck silent as she looked at the mech before her. Optics wide as they met the mechs. And found herself staring up at Optimus Prime himself...
Authors Note- And thus concludes Chapter Three of Beyond The Starry Sky. Sorry it's rather meh. And I wish there was more to say but I need to head to work. So this is The Exhausted Writer signing off. Have a good day.
