When the hungry yellow hero finally made it outside, he collapsed.

The ghosts stopped their terrorizing and attacking and circled over the food poisoned Pacster.

"Well, if it isn't the goody goody Pac-Rat!" one of them exclaimed.

"Yeah, not so hungry now, are you? Are you?" said another.

Their mocking of Pac continued as it erupted into wicked laughter.

All throughout, Traditorus, watching through another one of his slug cams, was enjoying the scene. In fact, he brought slime-covered popcorn.

"This is glorious!" he exclaimed as he shoved a handful into his mouth. "The best day of my afterlife, no doubt!" he cackled once more.

The students in Ms. Globular's classroom watching the situation through the window were saddened to see their savior fail so hard. Some of them started crying.

When all seemed lost, Spiral and Cyli arrived on the scene.

"Pac!" they called out in unison. Their yellow friend looked toward them, relieved.

"We remembered Big T's plan, so we brought these!" Spiral said, pulling out a tube container full of Power Berries.

"W…what are you ugh waiting for?" Pac painfully asked. "Pop one in!" he pointed inside his large mouth. Spiral did as requested.

In an instant, Pac was energized. All his pain was relieved, and he was hungry again. Hungry for ghosts!

And in an instant, the ghosts' ghastly grins turned to frightful frowns. They turned to deep blue, as they have done before when the Pac-Man had the upper hand.

"The Pac is Back!" Spiral exclaimed as the yellow hero took to the air.

Once the ghosts were finished, all the students in Ms. Globular's class ran outside to celebrate.

Like before, Pac burped out a swarm of ghost eyeballs, which fled to the gateway in the hedge maze back to the Netherworld.

Traditorus stood near the mouth of the Regeneration Chamber in absolute anger. "How did he know?! How did he know of my plans to sicken him?!"

As his fiery temper tantrum continued, the Ghost Gang, hiding behind a rock structure, peeked out to get a look at his sliminess' rage.

They had nothing to say. They just winked at each other.

The End.
