"Last time on Total Drama..." Chris began the recap, standing on a stage with red curtains behind him, twirling a baton in one hand aimlessly before the clips from the previous episode played. "Dodgeball was the name of the game, and we got to see some step up for their team while others just took balls to the face and called it there! Lightning continued to assert that he was the boss and completely frontloaded his teams, as did Jo for the Screaming Gophers! Factions formed on the Bass as Scarlett laid out a backloading plan that Chase and Axel were mixed on. It ultimately paid off as after losing their first match, the Bass tore through the rest of the competition! Ezekiel clutched out a win for the Gophers, but his poor social game continued to leave him with no applause! That just left the Trout and Bolts to go to elimination after losing two rounds each, where Alejandro threw Katie under the bus for trying to help her team win with her dodgeball experience, breaking up the BFFFL pair so soon! For the Bolts, Heather won the power struggle between her and Anne Maria, sending the golden girl home before she could even make a move! Will the teams further splinter? Who will rise to the occasion? And just who bites the dust tonight? Find out right here, on Total, Drama, Island!"

Intro Sequence:

Rock music began and the opening notes of I Wanna Be Famous kicked in as cameras popped up from various places throughout the island. First in front of a bunch of trees, then out of the ground with a gopher on top, then through the window of a bathroom, startling Dave inside, and finally out of a tree and pushing a squirrel out before a film clapper came and transitioned the shot.

Dear Mom and Dad I'm doing fine, you guys are on my mind

The camera zoomed down the Dock of Shame and onto the campground, where Chris was fending off Sierra and Topher pestering him, while Blaineley was trying to take center stage. He pushed Topher aside as the camera zipped by, while Sierra just swooned.

The shot then went up a large cliff where Izzy and an unsure Emma gave each other excited looks before diving down into the water. In the water, Chase was having a good time swimming with Owen until the latter farted, making the former cough from the stench.

You asked me what I wanted to be and I think the answer is plain to see

Above the water, Bridgette and Geoff were sitting on a surfboard together, smiling at one another. That was until B sped by on a speedboat, pulling Ripper along on wakeboard while Scary Girl watched from the boat. The splash knocked the pair off of their surfboard, with Scary Girl and Ripper not bothered one bit, enjoying their time. A dead fish rose from the water thanks to Owen's fart, which an eagle swooped down and picked up, carrying it away.

I wanna beeeeeee famous!

In the woods, Dawn was meditating while Leonard and Beardo were pestering her. The fish from the eagle dropped down by them, and the two immediately fled thanks to the smell, making Dawn smirk while keeping her eyes closed. DJ and Ella were petting the animals in the woods when this happened, and both had to flee as well when the stench made the animals go berserk and attack them. Scott watched all this from behind a tree, laughing to himself. Max laughed at this too, but attracted too much attention and soon had to flee.

I wanna live close to the sun

Further downstream from the forest, Heather and LeShawna were slapfighting each other riding one raft, while Shawn and Jasmine were happily riding together in one behind them. The former two were too distracted and went falling down a waterfall ahead, while Shawn was quick to steer their raft to the river bank, safe from falling.

Go pack your bags 'cuz I've already won

Harold was practicing his karate moves with Axel on a log in front of the waterfall, who was deflecting all of his moves easily while Julia filmed it on her phone, trying to talk to an uninterested Nichelle while doing so. Heather and LeShawna fell in the background, and Lightning quickly stepped onto the log, carrying another log just to show off his strength to Julia's recording. This weight made the log snap, and all 5 of them fell.

Everything to prove nothing in my way, I'll get there one day

Panning to the left, Damien was skateboarding by himself when he crashed into the confessional, knocking Zee out and confusing Zoey who was just about to use it, while MK poked out from behind, messing with the wires.

Further left was the dining hall, where inside Chef was making something disgusting while Wayne and Raj watched in horror, the former much more scared than the latter. Amy and Samey were bickering nearby, so Chef shut them both up by shoving food into their mouths.

'Cuz I wanna beeeeeee famous!

At the counter, Jo, Brick, Tyler, and Eva were having an arm wrestling tournament while Millie and Duncan watched while eating popcorn. The girls beat the boys, with them high fiving as the guys were shocked at their losses.

Zipping past Noah, Scarlett, Cameron and Staci studying together at one of the dining tables, the shot went outside where Katie, Bowie, and Sadie were fawning over Caleb, Alejandro, and Justin suntanning. Heather saw this as she stepped out of the dining hall, and just stormed back inside.

Na na nana nanananana nanananana

Anne Maria was applying spray tan while looking out at the beach when Sky and Priya passed by on a sprint, nearly knocking her over. Ezekiel soon passed by as well, but Anne Maria sprayed him down angrily.

Sam was sitting not far from Anne Maria, playing on his Gameguy. Mike was watching him play, but when the sprinting girls passed by, he gasped and turned into Chester, shaking a fist at them.

I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous!

Panning to the Dock of Shame, Rodney was sitting on a crate watching Lindsay help Dakota get her makeup on. Once it was ready, Dakota stepped back and paparazzi swarmed the scene, flashing pictures while Lindsay and Rodney watched in amazement.

Sugar stepped onto the dock, now posing for the paparazzi as well, much to Dakota's annoyance. Courtney arrived to shoo away the paparazzi, but to no avail. Finally, Beth rushed into frame with a flaming baton. She tossed it up, before it landed on the dock and made it burst into flames, sending everyone into a panic.

I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous!

The flames from the Dock of Shame transitioned to the bonfire trail on the night sky. Panning down, Gwen and Trent were sitting together at the campfire, leaning in happily. That was until Cody popped out between the two of them, putting hands on both their shoulders. The camera panned out after this, showing the rest of the cast sitting on tree stumps, barrels, and tires, whistling the last few notes of the tune while the words "Total Drama Island" were shown on a wooden sign.

After the intro, the episode began in the morning this time, focusing on the Trout cabin first. When it zoomed in, the girls inside were shown going through their morning routines. Except for Sadie, who was still relentlessly crying on her bunk. "K-Katie..." she whimpered, hugging a pillow.

Eva was doing pushups on the floor, but eventually just stopped and groaning. "I'm going to workout somewhere else. I'm not dealing with this crying." she stated coldly, then marched out of the cabin.

Sky had been doing her morning stretches as well, frowning as she watched Eva leave. "I didn't think them being separated would hurt this bad, maybe we didn't make the right call last night..." Sky wondered.

Millie shook her head, writing in her notebook and watching Sadie as she cried. "The attachment people place onto others is fascinatingly unhealthy in our generation, but it's interesting to study. Plus, we would have had to vote Trent off last night if it wasn't going to be Katie. Alejandro had a pretty good take about the whole thing." Millie reasoned.

Sky still had her doubts, looking up at Sadie's bunk as well. "Even still. Maybe this'll get better with time." Sky said hopefully.

Scary Girl entered the cabin with a plastic cup, gleefully skipping over to Sadie's bunk. "Saddddie! Right here!" Scary Girl called to her, holding the cup out near her.

Sadie looked over at Scary Girl, still sobbing. "W-What is it?" she asked, rubbing her eyes a bit.

Sadie's tears filled the cup, and Scary Girl waited a bit before she decided she had enough and pulled it away. "Thanks!" she thanked Sadie quickly.

Scary Girl then drank the tears from the cup, giggling to herself. "You can just taste the salty misery! Thanks again! Bye!" Scary Girl exclaimed, then skipped right back out of the cabin.

Dawn shuddered as she watched her leave, before climbing up onto Sadie's bunk and sitting beside her. "Dear Sadie, you mustn't let this loss cloud your heart. Katie wished for you to win for the both of you. She would be even sadder seeing you like this." Dawn tried to cheer up Sadie.

Sadie clutched her pillow tighter, looking at Dawn. "I just... I j-just... she was my best friend! I don't know what I'll do without her!" Sadie cried out.

Dawn patted Sadie's back, then pulled her in for a hug. "We're here for you Sadie, fret not. It's okay to cry. But we shall have your back. Right Sky?" Dawn assured Sadie.

Sky perked up hearing her name, nodding right away. "Of course, I'll be here if you ever need to talk!" Sky also assured Sadie.

Sadie faintly smiled, dropping her pillow and now hugging down. "T-Thanks... I needed this..." she thanked them graciously.

"NOOOO!" Lindsay cried out, catching all three of their attention.

"What's wrong?" Millie asked, annoyed by how loud that yell was.

Lindsay held up an empty orange tube, frowning greatly at it. "I ran out of fake tan already! I thought I'd brought enough for the whole season!" she complained.

Millie gestured to direction of the Lightning Squad cabin with her pencil, already having a solution. "Anne Maria had a lot of spray tan, maybe she left some behind?" Millie suggested.

Lindsay jumped at the idea, running to the door. "OMG you're so smart! I'll back soon Molly!" Lindsay exclaimed, then left the cabin.

-Confessional: Ferocious Trout: Millie-

Millie was writing more in her notebook, chuckling as she wrote. "Molly, that's the closest I've heard her get anyone's name right. Between Scary Girl's creepiness, Sadie's complete codependency on Katie, and now Lindsay's ineptitude, I'll have quite the colorful novel to publish from them alone!"

-Confessional: Ferocious Trout: Dawn-

Dawn sat on the toilet in her lotus position, her hands on her knees. "It wouldn't be good for Sadie's soul or the team as a whole for her to let Katie's departure eat her up, I had to help her. Plus, if I am going to make it far in this game, I will have to forge strong alliances and bonds with my fellow contestants, and this one with Sky and Sadie will benefit the three of us greatly."

Over in the Bass cabin, the guys were just hanging out and relishing after yesterday's win. "Woo! Congrats to yet another round of victory my dudes!" Chase cheered, high fiving Cody as he hopped off his bunk.

Zee cracked open a soda and raised it up to cheer with him. "Yeah! We're like... awesome dudes!" Zee cheered as well.

Noah rolled his eyes, currently absorbed by the book he was reading. "Guys taking credit for stuff women do, what else is new. You all got carried yesterday." Noah pointed out dully.

Cody glanced at Noah, a bit annoyed. "Hey! I threw some sick throws yesterday, way better than the girls too, you didn't help at all yesterday either!" Cody shot back.

Noah groaned and just hopped off the bunk, walking past the other guys on his team to leave the cabin. "I know, just not going to pretend I did either. Great idea to put down girls on a team with 10 more of them on the other side of this cabin. Now if you need me, don't bother looking." Noah dismissed them all and walked out the door.

Scott scoffed, then elbowed Rodney next to him. "Ignore him, he just ain't a real man like the rest of us!" Scott insulted Noah now that he was gone.

Rodney rubbed the back of his head, looking away from Scott. "Uhh, I don't know... the ladies did pretty good yesterday. Like Emma and Axel, they were both in love with me and ummm, flowers and... dodgeballs! Yeah, the dodging!" Rodney blabbered, chuckling awkwardly afterward.

Cody raised an eyebrow, both confused and curious at the same time. "Woah, you got two girls going after you already? What's your secret? Not that I need help or anything. Your muscles probably just makes things easier huh?" Cody wondered.

"Maybe, I just... umm... gotta go!" Rodney blurted out, then hurried out of the cabin.

Chase, Scott, and Cody just got more confused by his behavior, then exchanged looks. "Definitely the muscles, because he definitely doesn't have the ladies charm like I do!" Chase boasted, winking at the other guys.

Cody grew more impressed, looking to Scott and Zee now. "What about you two? Any ladies at camp catch your eye~" Cody questioned them playfully.

Zee just shrugged, taking a sip of his soda. "I'm not really here for that man. I love girls, but I'm just here to let the good vibes ride y'know?" Zee answered.

Scott thought for a moment, then just chuckled. "On our team, it's gotta be Nichelle. She's a rich action star, who wouldn't wanna hook up with that?" Scott gave his answer, snickering further.

Cody took in their answers, but before he could respond, then came a knock on their door. Chase opened it, and Lindsay was there waiting for them. "What can I do for you miss?" Chase asked, slicking his hair back.

Lindsay wasn't phased by his behavior at all, just looking past him into the cabin. "Since Abi Maria left yesterday, do you have her spray cans? I just ran out fake tan this morning!" Lindsay asked them.

Cody pieced together what she meant first, and walked up to her. "I think you're talking about Anne Maria. This is the guys' side, she's on the girls' side, plus she was on the Lightning Squad, and their cabin is over there." Cody explained to her, leaning out and pointed to said cabin.

Lindsay looked at the cabin he was pointing too and comprehended his instructions, smiling at him. "Thanks Cole! See you later!" Lindsay thanked him, then took off to go the right way this time.

-Confessional: Killer Bass: Cody-

Cody sighed, both hands on his heart. "Chase, Rodney, Scott, they're all chick magnets! I gotta land a babe here just so they know I'm not all talk! Just gotta bring out the Codemeister charms! Gwen was a hard no, but maybe that other goth girl will fall for my charms!"

-End Confessional-

The camera now panned over to the Lightning Squad cabin, zooming into the girls' side where Heather was relishing in victory after last night's vote, currently painting her fingernails while Beth and Staci fetched her the supplies she needed. "What a good morning without that spray tanner clouding up the place!" Heather exclaimed gleefully.

Gwen was on her bunk sketching, glaring down at Heather as she said this. "I don't know how you do it, but you're really on borrowed time." Gwen spoke with an icy tone.

"Oh shut it gothy, you're better off staying out of my way if you want to stay in the game." Heather dismissed her words.

Zoey looked over at the other girls, growing further worried for their team's dynamic. "Hey, let's try to start our morning on a good note! If... that's manageable for you all! We're all equals here after all!" Zoey suggested hopefully.

Gwen just hopped off her bunk, holding her sketchbook close to her chest. "Would love for that to be an option, but glad someone here has some individualism." Gwen remarked, glancing at Beth and Staci painting Heather's toenails.

Beth winced as she was called out, while Staci looked over at Gwen with a smile. "Yah! Did you know that my great great great great great grandfather Voltaire had philosophies that dove into that? Yah, before him, everyone just followed charismatic leaders in a hivemind, so sad!" Staci rambled.

"Staci! You better not smear the polish or you are SO out of this alliance!" Heather threatened Staci, who snapped right back into Heather-care mode and focused.

Gwen just stepped out of the cabin after that, so Zoey decided to just follow her out rather than stick around with Heather. "Gwen, don't you think you could try to be nice to Heather? Maybe if you start being nice, she'll be nice back." Zoey suggested to her.

Gwen leaned forward on the porch railing, shaking her head. "I've dealt with her type throughout high school. I know you have too. There's no winning with her." Gwen rebutted.

Zoey had no idea what she was talking about, so she just nodded along. "Yeah, I totally get you there." Zoey just agreed.

Gwen looked back at Zoey, just slightly less bummed out. "Glad you get me there at least. Say, you wanna form an alliance to kick Heather out of here?" Gwen proposed with a smirk.

Zoey was a little caught off guard, not prepared to make an alliance so soon. "Umm, an alliance? Well, to vote Heather out maybe, but I don't want to do any scheming like she does." Zoey hesitated with the offer.

Gwen nodded, just glad to have her foot in the door. "All good, I don't wanna stoop to her level either. Just talk to your friends on this team and I'll talk to mine, it shouldn't take that long to build a majority." Gwen laid out their plan, giving Zoey one finger gun.

Zoey smiled, now nodding repeatedly. "You got it Gwen, I won't let you down! We're friends right?" Zoey asked to double check.

"Uhh, sure. Catch you later, I need some quiet to sketch." Gwen just answered, then walked down from the porch.

As Gwen left, Lindsay passed by her, waving to Zoey. "Hiiii! Did J Maya leave behind spray tan? I ran out this morning!" Lindsay right away asked Zoey.

Zoey waved back, then opened the door and looked to the girls. "Hey, did Anne Maria leave behind any cans? Lindsay was looking for them." Zoey asked her fellow bolt girls.

MK shook her head, hands shoved in her coat pockets as she then walked past Zoey and out the cabin. "Nope. She took them all with her, go figure. Can't imagine someone that obsessed with her looks leaving behind the key to her ego." MK answered, snickering afterward as she kept walking.

Lindsay sighed, but still smiled at Zoey. "Ah... well thanks for looking Zoia!" Lindsay thanked Zoey, then began to head back to her own cabin.

-Confessional: Lightning Squad: MK-

MK pulled one of Anne Maria's spray cans out of her inside coat pocket, snickering again as she showed it to the camera. "Yeah, I swiped up all her stuff as soon as we got back last night. Beauty junk is already easy to resell, but beauty junk owned by niche microcelebrities? That's where the moolah is baby!"

-Confessional: Lightning Squad: Zoey-

Zoey looked a bit giddy, hugging herself. "Okay so, I know Lindsay got my name wrong, but she thanked me! That's totally a good sign for a friendship! And Gwen asked me to be in her alliance before anyone else, plus she trusts me to help build it up! I didn't think I'd make friends so fast here! I'll ask Mike to join us and get as many people as I can, I don't want Gwen to think I'm some friendless loser... because I'm not!"

-End Confessionals-

In the dining hall, the teams were now settling in for breakfast, this time being some kind of orange gruel. Damien was getting his tray from Chef, wincing at the contents slapped into his bowl. "You wouldn't happen to have any seasoning for this in the back would you?" Damien asked with a sliver of hope.

Chef pulled out a jar of fleas and began to open it, making Damien gag upon seeing it. "How many you want boy?" Chef asked him seriously.

"Never mind! Today can be a plain day!" Damien quickly replied, before running off screaming to the Gophers' table.

At said table, Jo was eating her orange gruel just fine when Amy sat down across from her. "What's up captain?" Amy greeted her.

Jo looked up from her food at Amy, smirking. "What do you think? We're the only team that hasn't lost yet, and it's all thanks to me." Jo boasted, pointing a thumb at herself.

Tyler overhead and chuckled, then pointed at himself as well. "I think all the athletes like us are carrying, we've got a really good team here!" Tyler added.

Both Jo, Amy, and Julia sitting across from Tyler all held back laughter at this, with Amy scoffing at him. "After yesterday, be glad you're even on this team, any other team would have voted you off for how you played." Amy sharply told him.

Tyler hung his head in shame, and Geoff now leaned over and patted him on back. "You did your best dude, just try to stay positive and party on man!" Geoff encouraged him.

Blaineley nodded in agreement, swallowing a spoonful of her gruel before speaking. "What he said, it makes for good TV if you keep trying and failing. We could all use a bit of comic relief around here." Blaineley stated coyly.

Tyler just sunk into his seat further hearing this, and Bridgette just furrowed her brows at her teammates. "Hey! He had one bad day, just let it go, we won anyway. Maybe he'll have his shot this challenge!" Bridgette chastised them, then got up from her seat to sit down elsewhere.

Amy rolled her eyes, then just looked to Jo again. "What a pain, she saw how bad he was too." Amy complained.

Jo nodded, gestured to the leaving Bridgette with her thumb. "She'll change her tune if we end up losing a challenge because of that doofus, just watch." Jo predicted, making Amy snicker a little.

Bridgette moved to the other end of the Gophers' table, sitting across from Dave and Damien, who were picking apart their gruel to get the nastiest parts out of the mix. "Does that look toxic to you?" Dave asked Damien, pointing at a black speck.

Damien squinted his eyes at it, before shaking his head. "No, but Chef was using fleas for seasoning, so I'd toss it, ain't taking a chance on that!" Damien urged him, to which Dave picked it out and flicked it onto the floor.

Bridgette ate a spoonful of the gruel normally as she watched them for a moment, speaking once she was done. "Hey guys, what's up?" she greeted them, getting their attention.

"Not great..." Dave began, pointing at his bowl. "Chef's meals are completely unsanitary, so we have to prepare them to be at least somewhat edible!" Dave complained, very fed up with Chef.

Damien nodded in agreement with him, pulling a hair out of his bowl. "Yeah, I don't even know if we should be calling him Chef! At least Ella is enjoying his food..." Damien noted, looking past Dave and at Ella sitting by herself and happily humming as she ate her gruel.

Bridgette chuckled, then scooped up some more gruel on her spoon. "If you need some help eating it, close your eyes as you actually eat it, makes it that much easier!" Bridgette advised.

Dave shook his head right away at the idea, still picking apart the gruel. "I'll pass on that, the germs are all still there." Dave refused the idea.

Damien on the other hand scooped up some of the gruel and closed his eyes, then shoved the spoon into his mouth and quickly swallowed. He quivered a little, but it stayed down. "Oh hey! That actually worked! Thanks girl!" Damien thanked Bridgette, shooting her a finger gun.

"No problem! Usually I use that trick for helping friends try seafood, but works pretty good here too!" Bridgette accepted the thanks with a smile.

After a few more moments, a bell rang in the dining hall, as well as through the rest of the camp, and Chris's voice soon came through the intercom. "Alright campers! Meet me at the amphitheater near the woods, it's challenge time!" Chris called everyone, prompting some to get up and hurry out right away.

-Confessional: Screaming Gophers: Bridgette-

Bridgette had her hands on her knees, looking at the camera with a smile. "I've noticed that things are really cynical around camp, so I'm trying to be as positive as I reasonably can here. Geoff's been doing that too, just a bit more exaggerated, but it still helps. Damien and Dave seem like good guys, so I wouldn't mind hanging around them more and raising their morale! After all, making sure people like you is how you do well in these kinds of shows right?"

-End Confessional-

Cutting to the amphitheater, most of the players had now arrived to the four sets of bleachers, sitting in the little cliques that had begun to form. Ezekiel went to sit with the rest of the Gophers, but as soon as he sat between DJ and Dakota, both moved away from immediately. "Aye... maybe I should've showered a little longer eh." Ezekiel noted to himself.

When Trent sat down next to Bowie in the Trout stands, he was quickly joined by Alejandro and Caleb also sitting nearby. "Ooo this is just too good, all the good looking guys in a row~" Bowie commented, winking at them.

Sierra saw them sitting like this and giggled, turning to Harold sitting next to her. "Check out the Trout, all the boys are trying to win Trent over as an ally still!" she whispered to him.

Harold looked over at the Trout bleachers, raising an eyebrow when he saw them. "That's a lot of effort for just one ally. If I were in that kind of game position, I'd try and spread out my investments in allies. Learned that at Surviving Steve's Survivor Camp." Harold gave his analysis.

Sierra nodded in agreement with him, loving his take. "Ooh! You're big on strategy too huh? We should form an alliance then!" Sierra proposed excitedly, still whispering.

Harold thought for a moment, then just nodded. "Good choice for an ally. Not many are on my intelligence level, so you won't regret it." Harold accepted the offer with a confident smile.

-Confessional: Screaming Gophers: Harold-

Harold pushed his glasses up, sitting upright. "I'm one of the smartest people to ever be on a reality show, and I don't just say that as a brag, I mean it factually. There's a certain kind of sophistication and finesse needed to win the game, and that's what I have. So Sierra coming to me as her choice for an alliance was the best choice she could have made."

-Confessional: Screaming Gophers: Sierra-

Sierra giggled, leaning back in the confessional. "Harold is a pretty common type on reality shows like this! One of the cooking shows Chris was on had a guy just like him! He thinks he's the smartest on the planet, and doesn't have the greatest social game, but that makes him perfect for an alliance! As long as I let him think he's the brains, he'll vote with me every time!"

-End Confessionals-

Chris finally arrived on stage, walking with several spotlights aimed on him until he arrived at the center. "Welcome campers to our deluxe state of the art campsite amphitheater! Today's challenge is a summer camp favorite, a talent contest!" Chris introduced the challenge as he arrived.

Topher smirked, pointing at Chris. "Well Chris, I don't know how any of us can win a talent contest when you're on stage!" Topher remarked.

Chris took the compliment with a smile, glancing at the superfan for a moment. "Thank you Topher! Here's how this works! Each team will have 8 hours to pick their 3 most talented members and prepare acts for us to watch later this evening! Sing, dance, juggle, anything goes as long as it's legal!" Chris explained the challenge, eyeing the Lightning Squad on the last bit.

Both Duncan and MK groaned, checking out of the challenge mentally. "You'll all be judged by talent scout, former dj, and rap legend, grandmaster Chef! He will show his approval via his signature Chef-O-Meter on a scale of 1 to 10!" Chris added the challenge criteria, with a graphic of a spoon with 10 bars and a logo of Chef on it appearing on screen for a moment.

Ripper rolled his eyes, then raised a hand. "Since when is Chef a good judge of talent?" Ripper remarked, before having a spoon thrown at his head from out of nowhere.

Chris then just carried on like nothing happened. "After all 3 players from each team perform, the two teams with lowest scores will be sending someone home tonight!" Chris finished explaining the challenge.

"Sounds easy enough, but what do the rest of us do during the wait?" Dave asked Chris curiously.

Chris grinned, then reached into his pocket and pulled out what looked like a golden statue of his head. "Now that this won't get wasted on fodder, allow me to introduce the McLean Immunity Idol! If you find it and play it before the marshmallows are handed out, all votes cast against you will not count! With this in your hands, you could be the most powerful player in the game! There are three of them hidden on the island, and believe me when I say they're hidden!" Chris announced the season's twist, surprising many.

Before anyone could ask any further questions about the idol, Chris walked off stage, waving goodbye to the players. "I'll see you all this evening, make sure to bring the talent!" Chris told them all he left.

-Confessional: Screaming Gophers: Dave-

Dave wasn't comfortable in the slightest in the confessional, but sat upright regardless. "I don't think I can trust these people at all to vote logically. Our team hasn't had to vote yet, but if we do, having that idol in case they decide to be morons would be pretty comforting to have."

-Confessional: Lightning Squad: Cameron-

Cameron let out a sigh of relief, scratching the back of his head for a moment. "Okay, just a talent show doesn't sound so bad. Still not really up my alley as far as my skillset goes, but at least I won't be a target this time around! Logically speaking, it's best to just not perform, that way the team can simply vote out the person who scored the worst in the show. At least, that's what logically should happen. Things don't always work like that around here I've noticed..."

-End Confessionals-

With the teams dismissed, they all went their own ways to prepare their performances, except for the Bass, who stayed behind at the bleachers to coordinate who would be their talent. Courtney stood in front of them all, hands on her hips as she made sure no one had left. "Okay people, we won last time, so the other teams will be trying extra hard to outdo us in the talent show. We need as much varied talent we can possibly showcase, so who wants to go?" Courtney called for volunteers.

"Woah woah!" Chase blurted out, standing up from his seat and marching over to her. "Who made you captain? I'm the team captain, so I'll be putting together our roster!" Chase reminded Courtney.

Scarlett facepalmed, slumping in her seat a little. "Here we go again..." she muttered.

Axel now got up and marched over as well, glaring at the two. "I WON the last two challenges for us, so I get to be captain now!" Axel argued for herself.

Courtney groaned as she had to deal with these two again, but stood her ground and pointed at herself. "Well I am a CIT! Leadership roles with teens is one of my specialties, so just sit back down!" Courtney demanded.

Chase shook his head, smirking at her. "Well I am a mega successful Youtuber who knows exactly how to show off talent, I don't just let anyone feature in my vids, this is my thing!" Chase argued cockily.

Axel heard both of them out and just grunted, then walked back to her seat. "Fair enough. You're more experienced in this than I am." was all Axel said as she conceded.

Courtney continued to glare at Chase's smug face, before also just giving in. "Fine, but only because this is your area of expertise, I still don't think you're a good captain." Courtney told him as she sat down.

Chase of course just got a boost to his ego as the girls gave up, now cracking his knuckles before looking over his team. "Hmm, so in order to win a talent show, we need big showboaty talents, nothing that's just quirky or 'neat', gotta bring in the big views! Emma is a given, so we just need two more people!" Chase began to explain his criteria.

"Why Emma?" Jasmine asked curiously.

Chase looked at Emma now, who just crossed her arms and looked away from him as he did so. "She makes millions making her dances on Youtube Shorts, her dances are perfect for this challenge!" Chase explained why she'd perform.

Emma grumbled, smiling at the others. "Hate to agree with him, but I'm a pretty good dancer! I can go up on stage and rock it!" Emma agreed with him.

Scarlett pulled out a notepad, now writing down Emma's name and her talent. "While I have no sense of dance or rhythm myself, if she has the statistics to back up this claim as Chase says, then I am for her representing us." Scarlett also agreed to Emma performing.

"She makes millions, it's gotta be good, that's an easy one down then!" Cody exclaimed, leaning back and putting his hands behind his head.

Chase shot a quick finger gun at Cody, then moved on. "Okay, with Emma out of the way, anyone else think they got a good talent? Axel, you're pretty hardcore, whaddya got for us?" Chase asked her.

"I do poetry." Axel stated bluntly, crossing her arms.

LeShawna and Noah raised an eyebrow at the same time, as others were also confused by this. "Didn't take you for that kind of gall." LeShawna commented.

Noah nodded, then chuckled. "Yeah, usually poetry takes having basic thinking ability to do well. Then again, you did say you do poetry, not that you do it well- OW!" Noah was kicked in the back by Axel mid sentence, falling forward in his seat.

Chase snorted at this, then just shook his head. "Yeahhh, I don't see that going well. Maybe we'll loop back to you. Samey, did any of Amy's talent rub off on you?" Chase questioned Samey, earning some ire from Jasmine.

Samey rubbed her arm, looking away. "Wellll... kind of. But I usually perform my cheerleading routines with Amy, never on my own." Samey admitted.

"Welp, you're useless! Next!" Chase declared, pointing to the next member. "Jasmine! Got any cool talents from Austria?"

"It's Australia." Jasmine corrected him. "And are you just going to keep insulting people? That ain't quite right. I can throw anything like a boomerang, if that helps." Jasmine gave her talent cautiously.

Chase got just a bit annoyed with Jasmine's slight, but still considered her talent. "That could be cool, buuuuut it's not flashy enough and would only take like 10 seconds to demonstate! Laaame! Rodney, anything you got?" Chase asked the farmboy next while Jasmine rolled her eyes.

Rodney thought for a moment, then just shrugged. "I uhhh, mostly just do farmwork back home, nothing that'd look good on stage. I can play the banjo? I can hang upside down for a while too." Rodney gave his talents.

Chase thought on his a little longer, getting an idea. "What if we combined those? You could play the banjo upside down! If we don't get anything better, you are totally doing that!" Chase exclaimed.

Rodney was surprised to be considered, but took it with a smile. "Alright! My banjo is in my cabin, so just let me know if I'm in and I'll go get it!" Rodney told Chase, giving him a thumbs up.

Chase nodded, then moved on to the next Bass. "Priya, got anything that'll wow the viewers?" Chase asked her curiously.

Priya then stood up, as if she was about to give a presentation. "Well to start, I can standing jump 7 feet high, backflip on cue, wrestle any animal, play any instrument, and so much more! Name anything and I can do it!" Priya listed off.

"Anything? Pfff, I don't buy it." Scott remarked dismissively.

Zee tried to think which would be best, then got an idea. "What if you like, combined all of that? That'd win us the whole thing yo!" Zee suggested.

Priya liked the idea, so she gave Zee a thumbs up. "Great thinking Zee! I'll find a way to work all my stuff into one routine! It'd take a while, be flashy, and definitely impress the audience, it'd WOW Chris!" Priya exclaimed.

Chase also liked the idea, so he nodded in approval. "Love the energy! That's what'll win it for us! Okay, next, Izzy! Any crazy talents for us?" Chase asked the crazy girl next.

Izzy giggled, then stood up as well. "Why yes I do! I call this... the dance... of the rattlesnake! Sssss!" Izzy hissed, now swaying her hips in front of the everyone as she began to perform some kind of belly dance.

Cody smirked as he watched, while most just seem confused. "Is there like a song this is set to? I don't think is working that well..." Nichelle asked as Izzy danced.

In turn, Izzy swiped her hands at Nichelle like they were claws, hissing at her. "Nichelle~ Fall into my trance!" Izzy whispered to her sensually as she continued to dance.

"Okay, that's enough! I don't think this dance will be as impressive as Emma's, it's just weird." Courtney cut off Izzy, pointing at Izzy's seat.

Izzy pouted, then sat back down. "You'll regret not giving Izzy the spotlight!" she swore bitterly.

Chase looked to LeShawna next, but she just held up her hands. "I've got dance moves, but we already got Emma, we can just move on dawg." LeShawna right away turned down performing.

Chase didn't push further, just looking at Courtney next. "Okay, does being a CIT give you any talents?" Chase asked Courtney, his smug grin returning.

Courtney grinned back at him, equally as smug. "I'll have you know that I am an expert violinist! My violin is in the cabin, and I'll have a number ready by-"

"We already have Priya for instruments, maybe next time!" Chase cut her off, then moved on while Courtney just grew angrier with him.

Scott laughed, and now raised his hand before Courtney could speak out against Chase. "I'll give you my talent real quick. I can lay out traps and hunt any critter around. My pappy gave me some mean trapping skills!" Scott boasted.

Chase considered it, but ultimately just shrugged. "Not sure if Chris is gonna let us kill things on stage. Laying out traps and killing pests sounds like a sick video idea though, totally keeping that one in my mind! Nichelle, you're famous, you gotta have something for us!" Chase pushed Scott's idea down and moved on.

Nichelle waved in dismissal, laughing a little. "Ah I shouldn't go up there. I'd just do the same ol' stuff Chris and the fans have seen me do on screen already. It wouldn't really be as eye grabbing if I just did my usual talents you know?" Nichelle shot herself down as talent.

Samey raised an eyebrow at this, but didn't press into it while everyone else just agreed with Nichelle. "Yeah, it'd be more impressive if one of us did those stunts instead of Nichelle." Cody noted.

Since Cody spoke up, Chase moved onto him next. "Codemeister, got any talents for us? I know you got something!" Chase asked his buddy.

Cody nodded, pointing at himself. "I've got my keyboard in my cabin, totally killed it at my school talent show and in my audition tape for the show! It got me casted, so Chef definitely likes it!" Cody answered.

"Boom! You're on! Guess we got our three acts!" Chase declared excitedly.

Courtney pointed at Cody, glaring at Chase. "What!? He's also using an instrument! That overlaps with Priya!" Courtney protested.

Chase just shrugged, smirking at her. "Wellll, it was you or Cody, and we gotta have a guy go on stage too! Can't just be three ladies! So our lineup is Priya, Cody, and Emma then, you guys can go practice or whatever and the rest of us will just hang out until the show!" Chase stated the lineup, dismissing everyone.

Courtney was going to say more, but Jasmine just put a hand on her shoulder. "It ain't worth it lassie. He's not gonna budge. You know that." Jasmine advised Courtney.

Courtney heeded Jasmine's advice and just followed her away from the bleachers, giving Chase's smug face one last glare as she did so.

-Confessional: Killer Bass: Courtney-

Courtney had her arms crossed, bitterly staring at the camera. "I can't believe Chase sidelined me for Cody! CODY! Ugh, on the upside, if we lose then I get to have the last laugh in this. But I don't want to lose this challenge, but now I don't have any control over whether my team wins or loses!"

Over in the mess hall, the Ferocious Trout were delegating who was going to perform, although things were much less hostile for leadership than with the Bass. The whole team was seated at the table they usually eat at, with Sky standing at the end of the table and looking at her team. "We're going to decide this fairly and what the team wants foremost! Does anyone have anything they think will do well first?" Sky asked for volunteers first.

Scary Girl's hand shot up right away, alarming some. "Chris said the talent had to be legal, does that still apply?" Millie asked nervously.

Scary Girl then immensely frowned, lowering her hand. Brick's hand was raised next, before he then saluted Sky. "Ma'am! I can do 100 pushups in one minute with one hand with my eyes shut!" Brick declared his talent.

Eva nodded in approval, although Alejandro rubbed his chin with doubt. "Hmm, an impressive feat amigo, but would that win in a talent show? A workout isn't the most enthralling." Alejandro pointed out.

"Sorry Brick, he's got a point." Sky agreed with Alejandro's point.

Trent thought it over though, then looked to Brick with a smile. "Well, Chef is a sergeant isn't he? I feel like since he's the judge, an impressive workout routine would be perfect." Trent suggested.

Bowie right away nodded in agreement with Trent. "I am so onboard with that. Play into what Chef likes and we'll have this in the bag!" he exclaimed.

Alejandro raised an eyebrow at Bowie, but just smiled at Trent. "Excellent counterpoint. I am for Brick performing now, but let's hear what else the team has to offer." Alejandro agreed with Trent, now looking to his other teammates.

"I can lift weights. The heaviest I brought with me was 700 pounds." Eva stated bluntly.

Sam's eyes widened that she just brought that to their cabin, but then gestured to Brick. "That's a workout, and Brick has one that Chef will probably like more since he's in the military. The talents don't really stack like equippables." Sam pointed out.

Eva stared Sam down, scaring the gamer a bit, but her expression didn't change. "Fine. I won't perform." she said just as seriously, although Sam just took it as agreeing with him and relaxed.

Lindsay raised a hand next, looking excited to perform. "Ooh! Can I go? I'm super pretty, so I can like, model on stage!" Lindsay proposed.

"Like on a runway?" Sky asked her.

Lindsay nodded, getting further excited. "Yeah! Like a runaway!" Lindsay confirmed.

Bowie giggled, shaking his head. "Not to say you aren't pretty, but you are far from the prettiest on this team! If anyone were to be our runway model, I nominate myself! I did win prom king and prom queen after all!" Bowie boasted flamboyantly.

"There's Alejandro who can model too." Millie pointed out.

"And Caleb!" Brick added just a little too excitedly.

Brick blushed a little after he said this, but Caleb just chuckled it off. "I appreciate the enthusiasm, but I don't think just walking on stage and showing ourselves off will do much. Chef already sees us every morning." Caleb pointed out.

Sky took this into consideration, nodding in agreement with Caleb. "That's true. I guess no modeling then. Anyone else have a talent to go on stage with?" Sky asked for any other volunteers.

Trent raised a hand next to volunteer, strumming at the air with his hands for a moment. "I can play my guitar. I'll come up with a quick song and play it on stage at the show, that'd probably go over well." Trent proposed.

Dawn liked this idea, gesturing to Trent. "I have heard his songs, he is certainly gifted! I say yay to him performing." Dawn pushed the idea.

"I would love to hear you play too~" Bowie added with a wink, also for the idea.

Sadie sniffed a little now, thinking of Katie again. "T-There's our musical talent. Katie and I would have danced together... b-but..." she began to stammer, but Sky hurried over to console her.

"I can fart! I'm almost the world record fart holder! A kid named Bucky Windhorn currently holds the record for the longest fart at 48 seconds, but I know I can break it! Even if I don't, it'll for sure impress Chef!" Ripper boasted out of nowhere.

"No." Eva shut the idea down immediately glaring at Ripper with disgust.

Beardo pretended to put on a gas mask and gasp for air, then made a muffled smoke alarm sound after Ripper made his suggestion. "Okay I get it! You guys aren't tough enough to witness my ultimate fart!" Ripper tried to goad them into letting him perform.

"Still not happening dude." Sam stated.

"Well then who else would go? Huh?" Ripper questioned Sam snarkily.

Beardo's hand shot up next, with a dinger sound accompanying it. "What's your talent Beardo?" Caleb asked him.

Beardo pointed at his mouth, then cupped his hands around it. Out came applause as he chattered his teeth and somehow perfectly replicated the sound of a stadium cheering. He then took a bow, imitating a fancy organ giving him ovation music.

"I don't exactly know what to call that, but we all agree he's going to perform right?" Millie asked the others.

"Agreed, I haven't ever seen anything quite like this." Alejandro agreed with Millie.

The rest of the Trout nodded to the idea as well, cementing Beardo's place on the roster. "Alright everyone, so that means our performers will be Brick, Trent, and Beardo! Does that sound good?" Sky asked the team.

Again everyone nodded, content with their roster for the evening. "I've got a good feeling with those three. Victory shall be ours." Dawn stated confidently.

Sky smiled, glad the team could come to a consensus. "It's agreed then! Brick, Trent, Beardo, you guys can prepare any way you need, just say the word if you need help at all!" Sky told the performers, then began to head to the exit of the mess hall.

"Will do ma'am!" Brick responded dutifully.

Trent gave a thumbs up to Sky, putting his hands in his pocket as he walked to the exit with his team. "Hey Dawn, wanna help me write the song for the show?" Trent offered her.

Dawn nodded, very open to the idea. "I would greatly enjoy doing that, happy I can be of help!" Dawn replied, following right behind Trent now, while Alejandro again raised suspicion.

-Confessional: Ferocious Trout: Alejandro-

Alejandro rubbed his chin with one hand, the other on his hip. "Trent isn't as easily isolated as I had once guessed. He seems to gravitate towards everyone. Perhaps it'd be best if I cut my losses and placed my time and investment into someone else for a close ally. Although I will have to take out Trent sooner than later, someone that sociable cannot be allowed to stay in the game."

Over by the dock, the Lightning Squad was making their plans on who would perform, with Lightning of course taking charge. "Okay y'all, the Lightning is going to decide who is on his sha-team!" Lightning declared, looking over his team sitting on the edge of the dock, just standing by the edge, and sitting in the middle of the planks.

"Are you going to ask for our talents or are you just gonna pick 3 himbos to perform?" MK asked, making Duncan chuckle a little.

Lightning genuinely considered that, then shook his head. "Nah, good thinking beanie girl, but sha-can't do the same thing three times! Who here thinks they can impress the Lightning?" Lightning called for volunteers.

"We're supposed to impress Chef, not you." Gwen dully pointed out.

Beth raised her hand though and waved it to get Lightning's attention. "Ooo! Pick me!" Beth exclaimed.

Lightning looked at the wannabe, already doubting she was talented. "Whatchu got for us ugly girl?" Lightning asked her.

Beth ignored the nickname for now, standing up and spinning one arm in a circle. "I'm a baton twirler! I have both of my batonth in the cabin, it'd be tho cool!" Beth blurted out her talent.

Heather wiped off the spit that came from Beth out of her hair, forcing a smile as she nodded in agreement. "A baton twirling act is as campy talent show as you can get, she's perfect." Heather stated.

Staci also gave her approval to the idea, nodding excitedly. "Yah! Did you know my great great uncle Victor invented baton twirling? Yah, before him people would just spin twigs and poke people on accident, so sad!" Staci rambled.

Lightning groaned at Staci's ramble, but still liked Beth's talent. "So you're like a cheerleader? That's sha-perfect! You can go first for us to get Chef sha-pumped for my act! Now we just need one more person!" Lightning declared.

"Already? You're not going to hear out the other talents we have?" Shawn questioned Lightning's logic.

Lightning glared at Shawn, still not happy with him. "Well this team is full of a bunch of jokes! Except for Wayne and Raj, but they'd just do the same thing I'd sha-do!" Lightning insulted his team.

Wayne and Raj fist bumped, glad to be counted as good members. "Thanks captain!" Raj thanked Lightning.

"Right on eh! You'll do great captain!" Wayne added.

Duncan was getting fed up with all this, so he just stood up and began to walk back down the dock to camp. "Where are you going? We haven't decided who's performing!" Zoey called to Duncan as he left.

Duncan scoffed, looking back at the team. "There's no 'we', brick for brains here is deciding the lineup. Chris said no illegal talents, so that's that. I'm outta here." Duncan stated, then continued to leave.

Gwen stood up as well, and seeing her leave, MK decided to get up as well. "Seriously? You think you can just walk out on the challenge? Where are you even going?" Heather questioned Gwen.

"Anywhere but here." Gwen replied, then continued walking with MK not far behind.

Lightning didn't seem to care that the three of them were leaving though, looking at the rest of his team with pride. "Pff, who sha-needs them? They ain't got talents to help us anyway! Who else got somethin' to sha-wow Chef?" Lightning asked the rest of his team.

B was just beyond annoyed with Lightning at this point, so he just stayed quiet instead of volunteering and Owen now raised his hand. "I can burp the alphabet in one go! Does anyone have some soda?" Owen volunteered his talent.

"You might be able to get some from Zee, but is that really something Chef will like? I mean, not that I know what he likes." Mike wondered, having some doubts.

Lightning on the other hand jumped at the idea, high-fiving Owen. "Right on O-Dog! Guess we've sha-got our lineup! Owen gets the judges warmed up, then the Lightning, and then ugly girl closes it out!" Lightning announced their lineup.

Beth was giddy with excitement at this, as was Owen, while most of the team was hesitant about this. "Shouldn't we consider other options?" Cameron suggested.

Lightning stared Cameron down, not in the mood for someone questioning his authority. "You wanna go on stage? The Lightning has picked his team to go to the championships with!" Lightning reiterated.

"Understood!" Cameron backed down, appeasing Lightning.

-Confessional: Lightning Squad: Cameron-

Cameron hugged himself, looking both relieved and worried. "Am I happy with this lineup? Nope! Not one bit. I am certain we're going to lose. But it's nice for once to not be on the bottom of the team. If we lose, there should be 4 or 5 people that would be up for elimination before I'm considered, and I like those odds!"

Over by their cabin, the Screaming Gophers were putting together their lineup while hanging out on the porch, with the team currently looking to Jo who was trying to figure out who'd be best to go up. "Okay people, I don't care if you have a cute quirky talent, we just need stuff that Chef is going to be blown away by! So if your talent is just some party trick, don't even bother volunteering!" Jo started out.

Tyler was about to pull out his yoyo, but realized it'd probably be better if he kept it to himself and didn't say anything. "I'm guessing doing a handstand for 20 minutes isn't a showstopper is it, because I can't do my surfing on stage." Bridgette commented.

Jo nodded, waving off Bridgette dismissively. "Yeah, that's something you'd impress someone with at a hokey party, not a talent show. Does anyone have anything actually impressive?" Jo shot down Bridgette's talent right away.

Harold stood up, putting a hand on his chest. "I can beatbox! Check it!" Harold declared, then began to clear his throat.

"Lame, sit back down!" Jo didn't even give him a choose to perform.

"Gosh!" Harold let out in frustration, just doing as she told him.

Ella raised her hand politely, beaming at Jo. "Oh! I can sing a wonderful song! Maybe I could get my animal friends to join me on stage as well!" Ella volunteered.

"Your animal friends?" Blaineley repeated, a bit confused.

Ella nodded, then cleared her throat. "Be free to reveal yourselves friends~ For this is a team on which you can depend~" Ella began to sing, then held out a graceful note for several seconds.

A couple squirrels soon came scurrying over to their cabin, as well as a racoon and a couple of birds while Ella continued to hold the notes. "Woah! That is seriously sick sister!" DJ exclaimed, impressed to see these animals just happily join Ella.

Even Jo was left surprised, but she smirked after a bit of processing. "She's definitely on our lineup then! Save that singing voice for later! Who else has something?" Jo solidified Ella's place in the lineup, now looking for more.

Blaineley sighed, considering trying. "I'd perform one of my many talents, maybe one of my karate performances, although I already know Chris and Chef are biased against me. I'd only hurt our score." Blaineley admitted.

Julia patted Blaineley on the soldier to console her. "Fret not, while you may not have the chance to showcase your inner beauty today, you'll have more chances in the near future!" Julia assured Blaineley.

"Inner beauty?" Blaineley raised an eyebrow, mildly insulted.

Dakota stood up next, pointing at herself. "I should go on stage too, my beauty will definitely wow the judges! Just look at me!" Dakota volunteered herself.

Sierra shook her head, crossing her arms. "It's just Chef performing, Chris would give you a good score sure, but Chef wants something more flashy, definitely not modeling!" Sierra stated.

Topher nodded in agreement with her. "Yeah, we'd just be throwing if we sent anyone up there to model. So that means I'm out too." Topher added, already knowing his talents wouldn't win.

"And my cheerleading acts are duets, I won't be able to perform either..." Amy mumbled, not wanting to draw too much attention to that fact here.

Dave tried to think of something he could do, but just came up with blanks. "My talents aren't really dumb things you could just put on a stage. Science, math, not really talent show material." Dave tossed himself out of the running.

Damien ended up coming to the same conclusion as Dave. "I'm with him, I can dance but I don't think it's gonna win us much." Damien admitted, a bit disappointed he couldn't be much help to the team here.

Geoff stood up, looking actually confident compared to the others. "I can do some killer skateboarding dudes!" Geoff exclaimed, pointing at himself with his thumb.

"FINALLY! A useful talent! Glad some of you are actually worth something!" Jo insulted the rest of the team, giving Geoff her approval.

Geoff pumped a fist in the air, then sat back down. "Sweet! I'll start practicing when we're done here!" Geoff told Jo as he sat down.

"Is it really that hard for you to not insult people?" Dave asked Jo in annoyance.

Jo walked up to Dave and leaned in, getting right in his face. "Is it really that hard for you to keep your mouth shut pencil neck?" Jo asked him back sharply.

Dave groaned and didn't retort back, just resting his head on his palm afterward. Ezekiel waved over at Jo, eager to share his talent now. "I could perform my archery eh! Chef would like that a lot probably." Ezekiel pitched.

"Eugh, I don't trust him near a bow and arrow whatsoever." Blaineley right away commented.

"No way is he performing!" Amy also shot the idea down quickly.

Jo saw that none of the ladies wanted him to perform, so she just gave in to the group. "Sorry Zeke, I'm with the ladies on this one. You've probably got the aim of a veteran 20 years past his prime." Jo insulted him, moving on.

DJ was hesitant to share his talent with Jo, but decided to go ahead anyway. "I can ribbon dance, it's pretty graceful and looks much better than it sounds." DJ explained his talent.

Ezekiel raised an eyebrow, rubbing his chin. "Isn't ribbon dancing something girls do eh? Are you gay DJ?" Ezekiel asked.

"Zeke. Shut up. Now." Jo sternly told him, then faced DJ. "Well we need a third person, so it looks like you're filling that spot if no one else has anything." Jo told him.

Max then came running out of the cabin, holding a French horn in both hands. "Halt! For I have a talent to demonstrate as well!" Max declared.

The Gophers all looked at Max now, who now tensed up realizing all this attention was on him. "Go on dude, show us your stuff!" Geoff encouraged him.

Jo chuckled at Geoff's words, smirking at Max. "Yeah, just not like during the second challenge." Jo joked.

Max then adjusted his grip on the French horn, and proceeded to blow into the mouthpiece while moving the tuning slide as he did so. What started with a low humming note quickly escalated into a catchy but quick tune. After a few seconds and Dakota clapping at one part, everyone realized that this was a rendition of the Friends theme.

Once Max finished about half of the jingle, he pulled his mouth off the horn, mostly receiving impressed and confused looks. "Wow... that was actually not bad." Julia commented, looking up from her phone.

Having seen the performance, DJ gestured to Max with a smile. "Yeah, that guy can have my spot." he said, chuckling afterward.

Jo nodded in agreement, satisfied with their roster. "Looks like our talent trio is skater boy, Disney wannabe, and chubby checker. Not bad! You guys just have to not suck the most and we'll be fine. You three better practice, the rest of you can just piss off wherever." Jo dismissed the team now that their roster was made.

Of course, most of everyone on every team who wasn't performing already had an idea of what they would be doing in the meantime. "We gotta find one of the immunity idols..." Sierra whispered to Harold as they walked away from the cabin together.

-Confessional: Screaming Gophers: Jo-

Jo looked annoyed, but not enough to where she was actually upset. "Man did Ezekiel do a number on his reputation. I don't feel bad for the dude, but I do have a problem with someone that's actually good at challenges being pushed down just because people don't like him. I'm not here for that kind of petty drama, I'm here to win. This better be a one time thing."

-End Confessional-

In the woods, Scarlett was walking by herself looking for the immunity idol, writing down in her notepad where she had been checking just to avoid being redundant in her search. "If Chris hid these personally, this will be a quick task, although if production hid them, then this will be a much more tedious ordeal." she said to herself as she looked through a bush.

It was a weird situation for her, although it was one Scarlett had fully expected to be in. Most of her team was too zany for her to be comfortable hanging out with for long periods of time, and the only other intellectuals on her team in Noah and Courtney were completely insufferable. She felt isolated, so isolated she shall be on her search.

Scarlett walked past a tree and looked up it, seeing something glisten in the green above. But when she looked, she was disappointed to see it was just a camera looking back at her. "These really are everywhere, possibly hidden even better than the idols." Scarlett noted, then kept walking.

It made sense in her head for the cameras to be hidden better than the idols. The idols were supposed to be found by the contestants after all, they were never meant to interact with the hidden cameras, lest their environmental immersion be broken further than it already was. There were numerous cameras in their cabin and the bathroom, breaches of privacy the campers would just have to put up with if they wanted to stay in the game.

Scarlett didn't consider herself as expressive or animated as her teammates though, so she took no issue with the hidden cameras recording their buffoonery. Speaking of buffoonery, Zee soon entered her peripheral vision, walking in her direction seemingly in search of the idol as well. "Hmm, perhaps he was overplaying his lazy nature to cover up his strategy? Interesting tactic..." Scarlett pondered as she now walked across the dirt path in the woods to reach him.

Zee was just drinking his soda as he absentmindedly walked, just taking in his surroundings. "Zee, how fares your search?" Scarlett asked him curiously.

Zee's demeanor wasn't any different than it was at camp, taking a sip of his soda before giving her a quick wave. "Hi Scarlett, uh, what search?" Zee asked back, slightly confused.

"The search for the immunity idol that most of our team is on? For example, Axel over there." Scarlett answered, then pointed off in the distance to Axel climbing up a tree to see if an idol was perched in its branches.

Zee scratched his head, still not getting it. "An idol? I just saw everyone walking to the woods yo. Thought it seemed fun." Zee told Scarlett with a shrug.

Scarlett didn't fully buy it, but just went along with it anyway. "Interesting. You should know that there are three golden statues of Chris's head hidden on the island as he announced earlier, so if you see one, be sure to take it and keep it to yourself." Scarlett informed him, then walked away from him.

Zee nodded, waving goodbye to her as she walked away. "Thanks Scarlett, you're a real one yo!" Zee thanked Scarlett, then went off his own way.

-Confessional: Killer Bass: Zee-

Zee cracked opened a new can of soda, then gulped it down. "I'm not sure about all this idol stuff yo, sounds like freaky voodoo stuff. But Scarlett said that Chris said to look for them, so I guess it's fine. I just don't think it's cool to take old statues and stuff from places you aren't from. Like, those idols probably belonged to someone! So not cool."

Back at the cabins, Cody was practicing on his keyboard on the Bass porch, adjusting the settings on it so it would sound just right for his performance. Priya was limbering up nearby, lifting a boulder up and down repeatedly. "Are you sure that's needed?" Cody asked her, pressing a few keys to double check how they sounded.

Priya nodded, tossing the boulder down in front of her. "Yep! Always gotta be training! Can't win without maintaining it!" Priya answered back quickly, now switching to jumping jacks.

Cody was offput by how dedicated she was, but just kept on fiddling around with his keyboard. "I don't think you have to go that far with it, it's just a talent show." Cody reminded her, not wanting her to burn herself out before the show.

"The other teams are playing to win too, we have to give it our all!" Priya declared as she did her jumping jacks.

Cody was going to try to her to take it easy more, but he then spotted Scary Girl passing by the cabin humming to herself, having just left the woods. "Oh yeah, there's that other goth girl..." Cody whispered to himself as he stood up from the cabin porch and set his keyboard down, now hurrying over to catch up with her.

Scary Girl was just on her way back to the Trout cabin, passing by Trent practicing his guitar on one of the picnic tables when Cody approached her, waving with a suave smile on his face. "Heyyyy, how's it goin lady?" Cody greeted her in a flirty voice.

Scary Girl stopped and stood still for a moment, then turned around and stared at him with a wide grin. "Hi! Cody Emmet Jameson Anderson, that's your name right? I didn't get to know the people on the other teams that well!" Scary Girl greeted him back.

Cody was caught off guard by the name drop, but was able to keep his composure and kept the slick grin. "Oh yeah, that's me, figured you'd remember my name! Saw you walking and figured you could use some company~" Cody flirted, now walking with her.

Scary Girl tilted her head, still smiling. "Oh? I needed company? Do I seem lonely to you? Like I don't have anyone else to hang out with?" Scary Girl questioned him.

Cody tensed up, but kept the smile. "Not at all, just no one seems to be with you right now. And I don't just mean currently present, you don't have a boyfriend either do you?" Cody asked her back, winking at her.

Scary Girl's pupils shrunk a little as she stared at him after hearing that question, before just shaking her head. "Nope! Why don't we go to my faaaaavorite spot then?" Scary Girl suggested, now leading him to the camp bathrooms.

Cody saw where they were heading and silently cheered, just following her. "Sure! I'm a manly man, and you're a scary goth gal, so I just figured we'd make a pretty sweet couple huh?" Cody proposed.

Scary Girl didn't respond to the question, just leading him along and humming to herself. "I'll take happy humming as a yes, whaddya say we take things up a level?" Cody added, winking again at her.

When they arrived at the bathrooms, Scary Girl faced Cody again, seeing how romantically interested he was in her. "By next level, you mean you want to put your hands where they don't belong right?" Scary Girl asked him to confirm.

Cody nodded, shooting finger guns at her before leaning in for a hug. "You know it~" he spoke suavely as he leaned in.

"Great! So do I!" Scary Girl exclaimed, then grabbing his right arm and twisting it out of place.

Cody shrieked in pain, grabbing his arm with his other hand, but Scary Girl was quick to grab his left arm and twist it as well. "AAAAAAGH! What's wrong with you!?" Cody screamed in pain.

Scary Girl giggled, then pushed him down. "Awww! Those screams are so cute! I wanna hear more!" Scary Girl declared, now grabbing his leg.

Cody was quick to kick her arm holding his leg though, standing up and running away screaming with his arms twisted out of place. "I'M SORRYYYYYYY!" Cody wailed as he ran off.

Scary Girl giggled, although the confessional camera seemed to glitch in her presence. "Cody isn't my type, I don't think anyone here enjoys screams and fun as much as I do! Buuuuuut, I'll hang around him if he keeps screaming like that! Teehee!"

On the beach, Gwen, Duncan, and MK were looking in the sand for the idol, just touring the area to see if one was hidden anywhere. "Hiding an idol here would be stupid, since the waves could just pick it up and carry it away." Gwen commented as she kicked over a rock to see if an idol was under it. There wasn't.

Duncan snapped a finger, chuckling at her observation. "Bingo, and that's exactly what kind of move Chris would make when hiding it." Duncan joked, brushing aside a lump of sand only to see that a bottle was what was lifting up the sand there.

MK smirked, just casually walking her hands in her coat pockets. "Heh, glad I'm not the only one who was thinkin' that. Everyone else is out in the woods thinking he actually tried to hide it." MK remarked.

Gwen looked to her right, seeing the edge of the woods closest to them and trying to see if anyone was searching near them. "Well there's a lot of woods on this island, you'd think he at least hid one of them in there." Gwen guessed, figuring that was the case.

"Still better to go for one less people are fighting for than one all those dorks are chasing down." Duncan argued, running his foot across another lump which just dissipated this time.

"You really don't like the rest of the team do you?" Gwen asked him, mildly curious.

Duncan just shrugged, facing Gwen now as they walked. "Probably not. Raj is cool, but the rest of the chumps I really don't give a crap about. They're either annoying, useless, or both. Heather's got the team under her thumb somehow, so they've gotta be dorks to let that happen." Duncan insulted his team.

MK walked ahead of the two a little bit, keeping an eye out if anyone was going to cross paths with them, and Gwen decided this would be the perfect time to make her move. "Hey, you see she's running things too. You two are more bearable than the rest of the team, so I was thinking we can just ally together to vote out Heather. I can't stand to be here another day with her!" Gwen proposed.

MK turned around, raising an eyebrow. "You really think you have the votes to pull that off? There's just three of us." MK questioned Gwen.

Gwen nodded, gesturing back to camp. "Yeah, I talked with Zoey this morning, she's gathering her friends to vote against Heather too. Won't be long before we can just sweep her out of the game. You two in?" Gwen elaborated.

MK and Duncan glanced at each other, before Duncan held up a thumbs up. "Count me in. The quicker I don't have to hear her boss those losers around is a win for me." Duncan accepted the idea.

"Count me in. She's dangerous if we let her stick around anyway." MK also joined in.

Gwen smiled briefly, glad they didn't need much convincing. "Perfect. She is so not gonna see this coming tonight." Gwen told them, loving her plan already taking shape.

-Confessional: Lightning Squad: Duncan-

Duncan was carving something into the confessional wall with his pocket knife, smiling as he did so. "Gwen's cool. Got her head in the game, and we both can't stand Heather. I've got my own plans to run the game, but I can't do that with Heather in our ears, and I'm definitely not sharing my plans with anyone else until I feel like it."

Ezekiel was just leaving the woods as the sun began to set, having had no luck finding the immunity idol while he was in there. Julia and Dakota passed by him, but only had looks of disgust to give as he waved at them. "Ewww, when can you take a hint!?" Dakota let out as the two girls hurried to the amphitheater for the talent show.

Ezekiel lowered his hand, letting out a sigh as he just kept walking. "Well it's not a puzzle challenge, not sure what I'd need a hint for eh..." Ezekiel pondered, very confused by how his whole team was behaving still.

Damien and Dave passed by him next, and Dave gave Ezekiel as similar reaction when the farm boy waved at them. "I'm not sticking around to hear myself be insulted, I'll just see how the show plays out." Dave told Damien, then jogged ahead.

That left Damien with Ezekiel, who wasn't as quick to just ditch him. "'Sup eh! What's wrong with Dave? Did his parents have something arranged for him to act like that? I know those people just do whatever their parents tell 'em to eh." Ezekiel right away went off when greeting Damien.

Damien's eyes widened and he looked back to make sure Dave wasn't in earshot, then just glared at Ezekiel. "Dude. The fact that you know about the socioeconomic systems and dynamics of India while not being to establish a connection to your own home dynamic just baffles me. Dave isn't doing that. He's just avoiding you, like the rest of the team." Damien explained to him in frustration.

It took a second for that to register with Ezekiel, so he just tilted his head in slight confusion. "Huh. A lot of the team feels like they've been avoidin' me eh. They've been violent, they don't want me on the talent show, I've been doin' great in the challenges, and they leave when I just wave to 'em. Kinda weird eh." Ezekiel noticed the pattern that had been going on ever since he got here.

Damien pinched the bridge of his nose and took a deep breath, reeling himself in. "That's because they are! You've been spouting off the lies your family feeds you ever since you got to camp, and no one on this team likes you because of it! The only reason you're still here is because we haven't even lost!" Damien elaborated, trying to drill the issue into his head.

Ezekiel opened his mouth to defend his family, but remembered what Damien had tried to tell him to help last time and bit his lip. "...That's what you said last time eh. I guess you might be right. And uhh, I don't really know what I said was wrong, but sorry eh. You don't like me either do you eh." Ezekiel began to apologize, with Damien's expression now softening at this.

-Confessional: Screaming Gophers: Damien-

Damien sighed, crossing his arms with a small smile. "I've never been one to hold grudges against people. Sure he said some things that would absolutely get him destroyed if he wasn't on camera, but he clearly doesn't know any better. I'll be sure to have him reformed by the time he's done here!"

-End Confessional-

"No, I don't dislike you. I see the problem, and I want to help you with it." Damien answered, relieving Ezekiel plenty.

Ezekiel grabbed Damien's right hand with both hands, shaking it thankfully. "Thanks Damien! I'll do whatever you need, how do we fix this eh?" Ezekiel thanked Damien, eager to heed his advice now.

Damien pulled his hand away after a few seconds, then cleared his throat. "Well for now, just keep quiet and stop thinking about the things your family taught you about other people, because it's basically all wrong. I'll correct you before you say anything too out of line, but you'll have to practice being more sensitive to what other people feel on your own too." Damien laid out how they'd start, and the two now started to walk to the amphitheater.

"Sure thing eh! Whatever you say!" Ezekiel exclaimed, just thankful someone was willing to be around him and help now.

As the two walked, Topher watched them from the Gopher porch, having been eavesdropping on their conversation the whole time. "Hmmm, guess he'll be a more useful ally in the future." Topher commented to himself.

Blaineley stepped out of the girls' side, taking quick notice of Topher staring off from the porch. "And what are you looking at hmm?" Blaineley asked him curiously.

Topher turned around, smirking as he shrugged his shoulders. "Nothing, why do you ask?" he responded coyly.

Blaineley looked past Topher and saw Damien and Ezekiel walking together, then smirked back at Topher. "Oh nothing, other than what's obvious, which is that I clearly wasn't the only one looking at Ezekiel as a number." Blaineley remarked.

Topher held both hands up, still smiling. "Ah, you got me red-handed. Yeah, he just seems too naive to not go for. But you? I thought all the women wanted him gone." Topher admitted, then rubbing a hand on his chin.

"The young ladies around camp may seem him as vile, but I see it all as good TV. The longer he sticks around, the angrier they get, the more the ratings rise! Plus, no one expects it, so it'd be all the more powerful in this game." Blaineley explained to him, feeling perfectly comfortable doing so.

"And you're explaining your game plan to me because..?" Topher questioned her skeptically.

"Because you've got an eye for this game too, and you know everything about Chris, so I want you in my corner. What do you say to that? We work together, pull in Ezekiel, take him as far as we can, and go from there?" Blaineley proposed cheekily.

Topher thought for a moment, then nodded. "Sounds good to me. You won't find a better Chris expert around here! Let's get to that talent show though, I think it's about to start." Topher accepted the alliance, then put his hands behind his head as he began to walk to the amphitheater.

Blaineley pumped a fist at the air as Topher walked away from her, then began to follow him to the theater. "I'll arrive a bit later, just so no one thinks anything is up." Blaineley told him, slowing her walk speed.

-Confessional: Screaming Gophers: Blaineley-

Blaineley had both hands on her hips, smiling at the camera. "At first I had some worries I wouldn't be able to make alliances with people half my age, but I know these kinds of shows, I've hosted them for years! Topher and I have some things in common, so he was the perfect place to start. Julia and Dakota have gravitated towards me for our beauty habits, so I feel myself sliding into a very comfortable position~"

It was 5 in the evening now, with a golden sky now above the campers' heads. While everyone returned from hanging out or idol hunting and began to fill up the stands, the performers and a few others were preparing back stage. Heather and Lightning were with the Lightning Squad, with Lightning weight lifting and pouring soda bottles down Owen's throat to prepare him for his performance. "Chug it big O! We got a challenge to win!" Lightning shouted at Owen.

Beth was practicing her baton twirling under Heather's stern eyes, going through the same routine of both at her side, bringing the left baton to the front and tossing it, moving the right baton to her left hand so she could catch the left baton with her right hand as it came back down. "Do it again!" Heather barked at Beth, seeking perfection.

Beth nodded, not daring to disobey Heather. "Yeth Heather!" Beth responded dutifully, then began her twirling routine once more.

MK walked backstage now, trying to keep a low profile as she snuck her way over to Heather. "Hey actual captain, got some news for ya." MK greeted Heather.

Heather looked down at MK, crossing her arms. "And why should I care about what you have to say? Here to complain like the others?" Heather sharply asked her.

MK rolled her eyes, then gestured to the other side of the theater curtain with her thumb. "Nah, just here to save your butt. I'm the one who's been voting with you to send Justin and Anne Maria home, so there's your reason to care. Gwen and Zoey are building an alliance to take you down tonight if you lose." MK warned Heather with a smirk.

Heather's eyes widened, and she now stepped away from Beth to let her practice alone. "What!? And you're telling me this now!? Ugh, those two are so dead! How many votes do they have?" Heather questioned, growing visibly worried, but disguised it as anger.

"Gwen just has Duncan and she thinks I'm with her. Zoey said she's getting Mike and as many people as she can. So you've got 4 at minimum tonight." MK answered casually.

Heather scowled at this, before an idea popped in her head as she saw Lightning and Owen prepping. "You go talk to the hockey dummies in the stands, I'll get the two idiots here. They can't stop us if we have 8 votes." Heather ordered MK, who just gave a thumbs up and snuck off before the other teams could see that she was backstage.

-Confessional: Lightning Squad: Heather-

Heather applied some make up in the confessional with a pocket mirror, making sure she looked her best before closing it. "I knew that Gwen was going to be a pain, but I am not going to let her even get close to sending me home! No one is in control of when I lose but me! She'll be sorry she ever swung at me!"

-End Confessional-

Courtney was waiting backstage furiously with Chase, tapping her foot impatiently while her violin sat on the ground next to her in its case. Priya and Emma were ready to go already, with Priya just doing squats while holding Cody's keyboard. "Where is he!?" Courtney complained, looking up at the sky again for a moment.

Axel soon arrived, with Cody walking right behind her with casts on both his arms. "Woah, what happened to Cody?" Emma asked in shock seeing him like that.

Axel gestured to Cody sternly, a serious look on her face. "We just got back from the infirmary. Both of his arms were completely dislocated. Chef put them back into place, but they'll need some time to heal. I brought him here, my work here is done. Later." Axel explained, then just walked past the backstage Bass to join the rest of her team in the stands.

"Did you break your arms looking for an idol? That sounds like something I'd do!" Priya asked, now setting his keyboard down since he was here.

Cody didn't say anything for a moment, before just nodding. "Yeah, fell out of a tree and caught myself with my arms! Kept the Codemeister charm face intact, so I wouldn't call it that bad!" Cody remarked weakly, still in pain from the whole ordeal.

"Woahhh... you were really checking deep! Right on man! High five!" Chase exclaimed, then high fived Cody, making him wince in pain.

"He should have been practicing like he was supposed to, and this wouldn't have happened." Courtney stated, crossing her arms.

Cody shrugged, standing next to Chase now. "Well I'm afraid you just don't have better things to do like I did! Besides, any man can take pain and bear it. Chase, you're all good to perform in my place right?" Cody asked his captain.

"You know it man!" Chase answered, shooting Cody a finger gun.

Courtney was going to argue, but Trent now walking up to the Bass, his guitar slung on his back at the moment. "Hey Cody, sorry your arms got busted up man. If I knew Scary Girl was going to do that I would've stepped in before you left with her." Trent apologized to Cody now that he could see him.

"Wait, Scary Girl? I thought your arm got busted from the tree fall?" Emma asked Cody, getting confused by Trent.

"Yeah, don't know what you're talking about Trent, hehe..." Cody replied, also pretending to be confused.

Trent scratched his head, but just went further into detail to help him remember. "Aw man, you must have gotten a concussion if you don't remember dude! You were heading to the bathroom with her, you were talking about putting your hands on each other or something, and then she did that to your arms. Already gave her an earful about it, sorry bro." Trent elaborated, then walked away.

As Trent walked away, even Chase now was giving Cody an annoyed look, although Courtney was fuming. "You took my place to perform, and instead of performing, went girl chasing, and broke both your arms doing so, then lied about it!? You are so dead!" Courtney yelled at Cody.

"W-Well we have Chase to perform still, it's all fine!" Cody defended himself meekly, although Chase wasn't vibing with him anymore now that the ladies' man facade had been destroyed.

"I AM PERFORMING! That's final! Priya, Emma, get ready to wow those judges! Chase, just get Cody to the stands!" Courtney ordered, fully taking charge now. Chase was just bummed out now, so he just walked away with Cody who didn't want to say another word.

-Confessional: Killer Bass: Chase-

Chase let out a sigh, his hands on his knees. "Y'know, I thought Cody was a cool dude like the rest of us. But what kind of man loses a fight to a woman and lies about it? Any time Emma got one up on me I'd have a good laugh about it at least! Not cool dude."

-End Confessional-

After Chase's confessional, a yellow screen now appeared, with the 4 team logos in the corners while Chris's voice narrated. "It's time for... the TDI talent extravaganza!" Chris announced, with the 4 logos then colliding into each other and exploding into stars.

The yellow curtain in front of the stage that faced the campers sitting with their teams now rose, showing Chris standing behind it while Chef was sitting in front of the stage at a judge's table. "Welcome to the very first Camp Wawanakwa talent contest! This is where 12 campers will showcase their skills and desperately try not to humiliate themselves!" Chris welcomed the campers to the show, treating it with plenty grandiose.

Everyone who wasn't a performer had now returned to the stands, so all were ready to see how these performances would go. "Performing first for our current champs the Screaming Gophers, here's Geoff!" Chris announced, then stepped aside as another curtain raised to reveal a halfpipe set up by the interns.

"You got this Geoff!" DJ cheered for Geoff from the stands.

"Don't screw it up!" Jo threatened, refusing to even anticipate their first loss.

A spotlight was then cast as Geoff rolled in on his red skateboard, doing a quick kick flip to get his board onto the halfpipe. He kicked the ground a couple times to build up speed, then went up the right end of the half pipe and turning back around. He built up more speed, then went up the left ramp and went into the air.

The Gophers cheered as Geoff did a full spin on his board, completing 410 degrees before landing back on the ramp. He stumbled just a bit on his board with the landing, but he was able to keep his balance as he rode back to the center. He then stopped and stomped the deck of the board, making it flip into the air before he caught it.

There was applause from the other teams, but the Gophers showed their full support for Geoff with loud cheering. "Way to go Geoff!" Bridgette cheered, which seemed to make him the most proud.

With the stunt over, Chris walked on stage mildly clapping while the graphic of Chef's spoon meter appeared above them. 5 out the 10 bars filled, a perfectly middle of the road start. "Chef likes your moves Geoff! Good stuff! Could have been better, but it'll do!" Chris gave Geoff his score.

"WOO! Yeah dudes! 5 more and we hit 10!" Geoff cheered, pumping a fist in the air.

Amy scoffed, rolling her eyes. "Moron. It's whoever gets the most in total, not first to 10." Amy insulted him.

Geoff gasped at this, then just gave Amy a thumbs up. "Oh! Thanks dudette!" Geoff thanked her, now hopping back on his skateboarding and wheeling off stage to make room for the next performer.

-Confessional: Screaming Gophers: Amy-

Amy rested her head on her palm, leaning forward a little. "That Geoff has a few screws loose, like he is seriously annoying, like all the other jocks I know back at school. Like there, I have to keep him around 'cuz he's stupid and an easy vote."

-End Confessional-

With Geoff's performance out of the way, the applause died back down and the spotlight was back on Chris. "Decent start from Geoff, but let's see how the rest of the performances stack up! The Bass have only lost once so they'll go next, then will be the Trout, and the Bolts will get their turn before the Gophers go again!" Chris explained the turn order, then stepped aside for the next performance.

A montage then ensued, showing the opening and middle acts for the other teams as they went to perform. Priya went up for the Bass first, hanging upside down on a balance beam and then flipping herself over it and spinning in the air while performing on a harmonica perfectly.

Priya landed as she finished the last few notes, and the crowd erupted into applause for her, with her Chef meter filling up all the way. "A perfect 10 for Priya!" Chris announced.

Sky in particular was impressed, clapping greatly despite not being on her team. "Well done! Well done!" Sky congratulated Priya.

Next was Brick and his pushups, which didn't really impress the audience as much as he did 100 pushups in rapid succession. Once he finished and stood right back up on his feet, his Chef meter filled up most of the way. "7 out of 10 for Brick, not sure why but your guess is as good as mine!" Chris announced Brick's score.

"Thank you sir!" Brick thanked Chef at the table, saluting him proudly and waiting for Chef to salute him back before he walked off stage.

"At ease!" Chef shouted back at Brick, prompting the solider to leave.

Opening for the Lightning Squad was Owen, who had just had one last can of soda from Zee as he walked to the center of the stage. His belly gurgled, just making Chris and Chef dread what he was actually going to do. "This is gonna be gnarly yo." Zee whispered to Nichelle and Izzy sitting next to him.

Owen puckered his lips and then began to belt out the alphabet all at once while burping, although it was hard to make out some of the letters with the flatulent delivery. " ELEMEN ZEEEEEED!" Owen burped, raising his arms as he finished.

Plenty were grossed out, while some were just left in amazement at him actually pulling it off in one go. Wayne, Raj, Shawn, and Duncan all cheered Owen on for his feat, while the rest of the team just clapped normally. Owen's bar filled up to 6 bars out of 10, about what they expected. "That's a better score than you probably deserve, but you start off okay!" Chris commentated, with Owen now gracefully bowing.

"Awesome! Thanks for the soda Zee!" Owen thanked Zee as he then walked off stage.

"You helped the other team?" Jasmine questioned Zee, a bit annoyed now.

Zee looked back at her, cracking open another can of soda. "He asked nicely yo." Zee replied casually.

All the opening acts were done, so the current scores then appeared on a scoreboard above the stage, pleasing the Bass and making the other teams grow wary. "In the lead with a perfect 10 so far is the Killer Bass! Then it's neck and neck as the Ferocious Trout have 7, the Lightning Squad have 6, and in last are the Screaming Gophers with 5!" Chris announced the current scores.

Geoff sighed, now sitting with his team. "Sorry dudes, thought I could start us off better than that." Geoff apologized, but received a pat on the back from Bridgette.

"You did your best man, no worries." Tyler comforted Geoff.

"No worries? We're in last! We'll have to vote someone off if the other two don't pick up the slack!" Jo yelled at Tyler in frustration.

They'd soon get their chance again though, as Chris was back on stage to welcome the next performer. "With round 1 over, time for the Screaming Gophers again! Here's Max everyone!" Chris welcomed Max on stage next.

Max walked on stage with his French horn and the spotlight shone on him, just a bit nervous as he stared at the rest of the contestants staring back at him. He took a deep breath and just brought the mouthpiece to his face, then beginning to play. "Swear to god if he screws this up..." Jo muttered to herself.

After a couple of "bwomps" from the horn, he adjusted his pitch and began to perfectly play a baroque pop tune, just closing his eyes and letting the music play. "Aloo Gobi, he loves this one!" Owen whispered to Shawn, recognizing it instantly.

Once Max finished the song, the crowd began to clap, most genuinely impressed that someone like him could not only play the French horn clearly, but play an entire song and get everyone hooked. He smiled at the applause, before switching to a more devious smirk as he realized the reception was good. "Mwahaha! My tragic notes strike fear in them!" Max boasted.

Chris walked on stage as the Chef meter filled up to 8, much more preferable for the Gophers. "I don't know about fear, but Chef sure liked it! That's a good round for the Gophers! But let's see how the others follow up!" Chris congratulated Max, then let him walk off the stage basking in his glory.

-Confessional: Screaming Gophers: Max-

Max held his French horn close to him, laughing maniacally. "They all doubted me, but I alone performed better than they ever could! Better than Owen! Bwahaha!"

-End Confessional-

Courtney walked up on stage next, carrying her violin proudly. The Bass of course cheered for her except the guys, but she ushered them to quiet down as the spotlight shone on her. "Quiet, please." she insisted.

Seeing as Chef liked Max's song, Courtney decided to go for a similar vibe. "I call this symphony, Bird With A Broken Wing." Courtney told Chef, then brought her bow to the strings while her other hand shifted to the fingerboard.

Courtney's song was much more graceful than Max's, each strum more beautiful than the last, clearly with passion put into every note. Each was slow and measured to perfection, and sounded as though they came from a professional recording. "Ugh... I hate when people I don't like are talented..." Noah grumbled as he tapped his foot to the song.

By the end of her song, Chef was wiping tears from his eyes, and when Chris walked on stage, it was no surprise as the Chef meter filled up all the way. "Wow! Another perfect 10 for the Bass! Don't know what Chef's crying about, but that sure was music!" Chris announced Courtney's score, to which she proudly took her bow, having fully expected to score perfectly.

"Thank you Chris. Expect no less from me!" Courtney took the compliment, then walked off stage to join her team, who was still clapping for her.

Beardo walked on stage next, scratching the back of his head a bit nervously, wondering how he was going to top the last two musical performances. "Next up for the Ferocious Trout is Beardo! Let's see how this interesting pick goes!" Chris welcomed Beardo on, then walked off stage to sit back with Chef.

Beardo had a microphone brought out for him by a magenta haired intern wearing a red hat. Once she left, Beardo grabbed the mic off the stand and held it close, clearing his throat and creating a bit of feedback.

Chef was ready to already dock some points, but Beardo then began to imitate a hummingbird chirping, creating such a serene sound that Chef was right away put back in a better mood.

Beardo then recreated Max's French horn noises, right down to the unique mannerisms in his playing, albeit now applying those noises to sound like Mambo No. 5. Then on top of that, he ran one finger across his lips back and forth, tossing Courtney's violin playing into the mix.

Both Courtney and Max were annoyed by this, while everyone else was amazed to see Beardo toss their work together to create something entirely new. When he finished, the audience applauded, making Beardo now blush in embarrassment at all the praise. "I still do not understand the scientific explanation for all this, but bravo!" Cameron applauded Beardo.

Chris walked on stage applauding as well, putting a hand on Beardo's shoulder as Chef's meter filled up almost all the way. "9 out of 10! Not perfect, seems Chef could have used more originality, but nice score for using other people's talents!" Chris praised Beardo, diminishing his performance a bit.

Beardo was just happy to have a good score, so he cupped his hands around his mouth and recreated the Mario Kart victory theme as he walked off stage and went to go join his team. "That about went as expected." Millie commented with a smile.

Lightning jogged up on stage next, already looking fully confident as he did so. "Those were so chump band kid performances, now y'all are gonna see a real show! By the LIGHTNING!" Lightning introduced himself.

"Seems my work is done, I will enjoy this!" Chris remarked, hurrying off stage to let Lightning do his act.

-Confessional: Lightning Squad: Mike-

Mike scratched his chin, just a bit confused. "Y'know, we spent the time putting together the line up, and I don't think Lightning ever said what his talent was. I'm suddenly not so feeling good about this..."

-End Confessional-

Once Chris was gone, Lightning flexed his muscles at Chef, grinning proudly at the muscles before giving them a kiss. "Aw yeah, check out the gun show, sha-bam!" Lightning boasted, although Chef wasn't impressed.

The purple haired intern and an intern with a flat top brought out a large log onto the stage, which Lightning then grabbed from them and pushed them aside. "Sha-watch this! Imma lift this like 20 times super fast!" Lightning declared, beginning to lift the log up and down with one arm.

He repeatedly lifted the log with no commentary at all, just doing it while everyone else watched. He eventually threw the log aside, nearly hitting the Gophers in their seats in the process. "Hey! Watch what you're doing!" Dakota shouted, frightened by him throwing the log at them.

Lightning ignored that though, then getting one knee and striking a pose with one arm pointing flat at the sky and his other arm flexing. "Sha-zam! So that was a perfect score like the other dudes right?" Lightning asked now that he was done.

Chris walked on stage, just staring up as the Chef meter filled a bit. "Ooo, 5 out of 10! Chef wasn't that impressed! Mighty strength you've got, but seems that wasn't enough. Ah well, I'm sure the Bolts won't mind their captain doing this poorly in the second round!" Chris sarcastically announced the score, and the team did mind judging by how disappointed most looked.

"Sha-what!? Man the judge gotta be rigged! The Lightning did way better than all those dorks playin' music!" Lightning protested.

"A score is a score, you can go take a seat as we add up the scores of round 2!" Chris urged Lightning, who then angrily stormed off to the bleachers.

The scoreboards above the stage all updated, now reflecting the current scores after a bit of digital scrambling. "Now far in the lead is the Bass with a perfect 20 points! Not too far behind is the Trout with 16 points, then is the Gophers with a below average 13 points, and finally the Bolts in last place with 11!" Chris announced, angering Lightning further as he sat down.

"For the final round..." Chris began, "The teams performing will go in order of lowest current score to highest! Just to give you guys a chance to catch up! So next up is the Lightning Squad again! Give it up for Beth everyone!" Chris welcomed the next guest on stage, then walking back off to sit with Chef.

"You got this! Just score 9 or 10 points and we're good!" Shawn called to Beth as she stepped on stage with her batons and a lighter.

Beth quivered hearing the score she'd have to hit, and Heather's scornful look at her from the bleachers wasn't helping. "Yah got it Beth! Just believe!" Staci cheered on Beth hopefully, completely contrasting Heather's look.

Beth lit the top ends of her batons on fire, then tossed the lighter aside, taking a deep breath before then beginning to spin them. As she spun, the embers coming from the batons was caught by the other ends as they spun, and soon both ends of each baton were ablaze. "Just like we practiced..." Heather said under her breath, mildly pleased Beth was performing as she hoped.

Beth then brought her left baton in front of her while spinning it and tossed it into the air, then quickly the other baton to her left hand now that it was open. As it spun in the air and was about to come down, Beth's face quickly changed to one of panic. "Aaaaah I can't do thith!" she cried out, running out of the way before the baton could reach her.

The baton hit the stage and quickly caught ablaze, but the two interns on standby quickly put it out, as well as dousing Beth in fire retardant which put out the other baton in her hand. "That was bad eh..." Wayne mumbled, disappointed by how that went.

Chef seemed to agree, as the Chef meter only filled up slightly. "Oooh, only 2 out of 10! Started alright but that went up in flames! The Lightning Squad couldn't even reach 2nd place, so they're already guaranteed to see me tonight for elimination! Give it up for Beth everyone!" Chris commentated, leaving an ashamed Beth to now return to the stands.

"That's just great! You couldn't just do everything like we practiced! You just had to screw it up!" Heather yelled at Beth as she arrived, with her just sitting down next to Staci.

"I'm thorry..." Beth apologized sheepishly, hanging her head in shame.

"Sorry!? You just fumbled the ball in the fourth quarter!" Lightning also scolded Beth angrily.

Seeing that they had just lost, Zoey leaned over to Mike, now whispering to him. "Hey, Gwen is bringing in people to vote off Heather tonight, are you with us now?" Zoey asked him.

Mike nodded right away, then gestured over towards B and Cameron sitting together. "Yeah, I think I can get B and Cam to vote with us too. I don't want her around her either honestly, she kinda scares me..." Mike whispered back, getting Zoey excited.

Beth tapped her fingers sheepishly, looking at the camera nervously. "I may have mithed the fire catching clath..."

-End Confessional-

While the Lightning Squad mulled over their loss, Ella walked on stage next, waving like a princess at everyone in the stands, then did a curtsy to Chris and Chef. "Hello! I shall represent the Screaming Gophers today, in song!" Ella greeted everyone.

"Another musical one, great." Chef muttered, getting just a little tired of these.

Ella was certainly different than the others though, since as soon as she began to sing, a wave of calm fell on both the crowd and the co-hosts themselves. "A song for Chef and Chris, for their hearts deep down store some bliss~" Ella sang gracefully, as if she was harmonizing with herself.

A few little animals wandered onstage, with a squirrel family and a hawk listening to her perform. "May their hearts hear this and swoon, for a smile on their face is what I wish to see soon~" Ella continued to sing beautifully.

More and more animals joined her on stage, and by the end of her song, there were about 30 little woodland creatures all listening to her song. Once she finished, she took a bow and then happily waved to all her animal friends before they all went their own ways. "The hawk didn't even try for the squirrels, that's sure something..." Dave commented.

It sure was something, as the Chef meter filled up almost all the way. "Wow! 9 out of 10! Ella knocked it out of the park with her swan song, putting the Gophers in the lead! But will that lead hold?" Chris narrated, also impressed by the song.

The next performer walked on stage, being Trent and his guitar for the Trout. "Good luck friend!" Ella wished Trent as she then walked off stage to let him perform.

Trent waved goodbye to Ella as she walked away, then sat down on a stool that the flat top intern brought out for him. "To guarantee safety, the Trout need 7 points, so let's see if Trent pulls it off!" Chris commentated, eager to see how this would go.

Trent strummed a few notes to warm up, then began to play in a jaunty rhythm while he hummed to get himself on beat at first. Gwen leaned forward as she listened to it with a smile.

"There's a hole in the bottom of my brain~"

"But when I party the hole goes away~"

"But the party I throw needs a picture to post,"

"So the world knows the party was great~"

As Trent played, some just enjoyed the melody, some thought a little more about the lyrics, some both, and plenty moved in some form to the rhythm.

"There's a hole in the bottom of my brain~"

"But when I spend money the hole goes away~"

"If I finally get clothes that are fancily sewn,"

"I could finally be ready for fame~"

Trent continued on his melancholy song, eventually wrapping it up sharply yet it seemed just about the right time. "So what was that one about Wonderwall?" Ripper called out from the stands.

Trent chuckled, now setting his guitar on his back. "Just a little tune about stopping bad vibes from filling your head, even if it's a bit shallow and showboaty." Trent answered, not all that serious about it.

Chris clapped as he walked on stage, amused by the song at least. The Chef meter filled most of the way, pleasing the Trout. "Aaaand an 8 out of 10! Chef digs your song bro! The Ferocious Trout win immunity with that as well, as even if the Bass beat them, they're guaranteed second!" Chris announced their score, making the Trout now cheer much louder than they had before.

Trent walked off stage to join his team celebrating, where he received high fives from Bowie, Caleb, and Sky in succession. "Oh. My. Gosh, you were amazing out there!" Bowie complimented Trent, shooting him a finger gun as he figh fived the others.

"Just doin' what I do best man." Trent shot a finger gun back, accepting the compliment.

The last person to go onstage was for the Killer Bass, being Emma. "We only need two points to tie for second, we got this in the bag y'all!" LeShawna pointed out, confident in Emma.

"Last but probably not least, Emma! Give us a good show to close on!" Chris welcomed Emma on stage, with Chef ready to judge as always.

Emma nodded, winking at Chris. "Oh you bet I will!" Emma exclaimed confidently.

What followed would be what some would call 'dancing', at least Emma called it that. She clapped her hands and pumped her arms at the ground for a moment, then pointed to her right with her thumbs. She clapped again, flailing her thumbs all over the place after that. "What... is she doing?" Samey asked Scott, who was trying to hold back laughter.

Emma clapped her hands once more, beginning the cycle again. She had no other dance moves. Just these ones. "You're doing great babe!" Chase cheered for her, despite how dumbfounded the rest of the team was.

Emma heard this and stopped, now pointing at him angrily. "Ugh, I was just about to get to the good part! You ruined the dance, now I gotta start over! And you aren't allowed to call me BABE!" Emma yelled at him, then started over her loop.

"Why are you so mad? I was cheering you on!" Chase shouted back in confusion.

"Lad, sit down." Jasmine told Chase sternly.

Emma's face turned red at this, her mind fully off her dance now. "Are you kidding me!? You know what you did!" Emma continued to yell at Chase.

-Confessional: Killer Bass: LeShawna-

LeShawna had both hands on her lap, looking at the camera with an annoyed look. "I wanna help Emma out, but she's got the worst timin' on this kind of stuff. Thinkin' this is where she finally tells us what that boy did to get her so mad at him, and I'd be lyin' if I said I wasn't itching to find out!"

-End Confessional-

"You cut the brakes ON MY CAR!" Emma yelled louder than before, standing and glaring right at him.

"You're still mad about that? That was like, a few months ago now!" Chase let out in defense.

"Cut the brakes? What?" Samey questioned Chase, getting more confused.

Emma grumbled, realizing no one else knew what she meant. "He cut the brakes on my car for a prank, and I ended up crashing into a pet shop!" Emma explained the situation, still yelling.

"Ooh I kinda like this guy now!" Izzy exclaimed, looking at Chase.

Chris walked on stage though, laughing hysterically at this all. "Would love to see this keep going, but the performance is over, if you can call it that!" Chris cut them off.

The Chef meter then filled, showing that the Bass had only gotten 1 point from Emma's performance. "Ssss... 1 out of 10! The dancing was terrible, but Chef did enjoy the yelling!" Chris gave Emma her score, making things worse for the Bass.

The scoreboard updated, now displaying the final scores of all the teams. "In first place after all this is the Ferocious Trout with 24 points! Then coming up in second place is the Screaming Gophers with 22 points! Following them is the Killer Bass with 21 points, and finally the Lightning Squad end far behind with 13 points! This means the Trout and Gophers win immunity!" Chris announced.

The Trout had already done their cheering, so now the Gophers celebrated since they were in the clear. "Booyah! Still undefeated!" Jo boasted, finally relaxing a little.

"Safety selfie everyone!" Julia called to her team, prompting her to take a quick picture with all 17 members in frame, with yet another day now with the whole team intact.

Chris looked to the other two teams now, smiling even wider at them. "Killer Bass, Lightning Squad, you will both be seeing me for tonight's elimination ceremony! Bolts, you got 4th place so I'll be seeing you first! Make your way to the campfire ceremony, and Bass, you can head in once they return to their cabin." Chris informed the two losers, then walked away.

-Confessional: Lightning Squad: Shawn-

Shawn rubbed the back of his head, mostly confused. "Apparently there's some kind of alliance war going on, but no one really said anything to me. I was gonna vote for Beth after that whole baton thing, but people really want Heather gone it seems, and that's probably the better option now that I think about it. Feels almost too easy to just get rid of her like this, she's like the zombie remains that keep causing new outbreaks in zombie shows in their later seasons..."

-End Confessional-

Nightfall soon came, and the 15 members of the Lightning Squad walked through the woods that led to the elimination ceremony together while dramatic music played. Beth and Staci were at the back of the group as they walked, with Staci comforting a still deflated Beth. Heather glared back at them for a moment, then just kept looking forward at her target.

The team's unfitting frog logo appeared in place of the moon, creating a yellow glow effect that was edited over the campers as they sat down. On Chris's podium was a tray of 14 marshmallows, ready to be doled out to the safe players. In the front row sat Beth, Staci, Heather, B, Cameron, Mike, Zoey, and Shawn while in the back row sat Wayne, Raj, Duncan, Gwen, Lightning, Owen, and MK. "For a third time in a row, welcome back to elimination!" Chris welcomed the team.

The dysfunction had just torn at these guys even further, but Chef still walked up, ready to tear into them further. "Lightning! You put together a crummy lineup after refusing to listen to your teammates! You've got to shoulder this whole thing!" Chef chastised Lightning's leadership.

-Confessional: Lightning Squad: Lightning-

Lightning was annoyed, but not with his own performance. "So sha-what? The Lightning the best out of all the dudes that performed! The judges just didn't want to see the Lightning win!"

-End Confessional-

"Beth!" Chef made his next call out, with her already expecting to be called out.

Beth still stiffened up, worried she'd become an even bigger target. "You were supposed to save your team in their last hour, but instead you set the stage on fire and completely blew any chance they had of winning!" Chef scolded her angrily.

-Confessional: Lightning Squad: Beth-

Beth let out a sigh, tearing up a little. "Yeah... I methed up bad... but maybe people like me enough to not vote me off?"

-End Confessional-

"Aaand Heather!" Chef called out the queen bee last.

"What did I do!? I didn't even mess up!" Heather let out defensively.

"You were yelling at Beth the whole time, maybe even made her screw up, and you've been gettin' a lot of people mad at you! Your enemies are pilin' up fast!" Chef explained why she was a target tonight.

-Confessional: Lightning Squad: Heather-

Heather scoffed, just filing her nails with an annoyed look. "Pff, as if I'm going home tonight. I'm safe, I already know I am. I'm so running this team."

-End Confessional-

Chris now held up the first marshmallow from the tray, squeezing it between his fingers for a moment. "Your votes have all been cast now, so it's time to see where they all fell! If you get a marshmallow, you're safe, if not, you're outta here!" Chris declared, briefly going over the ceremony rules.

"Marshmallows go to..."

...

...

...

...

...

...

"Raj."

Raj caught his marshmallow happily, then looked worriedly at Wayne. "Wait bro, what if I got mine first because you're getting voted out?" Raj asked nervously.

"No way bro! You might be right eh! Oh no!" Wayne cried out, growing scared as well.

...

...

...

...

...

...

"Wayne."

Wayne let out a huge sigh of relief as he was tossed his marshmallow, then hugging Raj. "We're safe Rajee!" Wayne exclaimed happily.

...

...

...

...

...

...

"B."

B calmly caught his marshmallow, just eating it and glad to be out of the team drama.

...

...

...

...

...

...

"Mike."

Mike caught his marshmallow with both hands, also happy to not be in the crossfire whatsoever.

...

...

...

...

...

...

"Staci."

Staci happily caught hers, although she didn't eat it yet as she looked to Beth with concern.

...

...

...

...

...

...

"Duncan."

Duncan swiped his out of the air, and just flicked it into his mouth absentmindedly.

...

...

...

...

...

...

"MK."

MK caught the marshmallow, then stashed it away in her coat pocket for later.

...

...

...

...

...

...

"Owen."

Owen opened his mouth and caught his marshmallow with it, although he nearly lost his balance in his seat as he leaned forward in it to do this.

...

...

...

...

...

...

"Cameron."

Cameron was already relieved to have skated by today, so getting his marshmallow earlier than usual was yet again another good sign.

...

...

...

...

...

...

"Shawn."

Shawn wasn't surprised to be safe, already knowing that people just had other big targets tonight. Nevertheless, he was still curious about the outcome.

...

...

...

...

...

...

"Gwen."

Gwen lazily caught her marshmallow, now smirking at Heather, who just ignored her entirely at the moment.

...

...

...

...

...

...

"Lightning."

Lightning of course wasn't scared, catching his marshmallow and tossing it into his mouth, then flexing a muscle and giving it a kiss, leaving some of the marshmallow behind on it.

...

...

...

...

...

...

"aaaaand Beth!"

Beth had been crossing her fingers the whole time, and let out a small squeal as she heard her name. "Thank you guyth..." she thanked the rest of her team, her voice still a little shaky.

That left the bottom two now, one who already know she'd be here in advance and the other was just confused. "Heather, Zoey. After a day of talentless failures and arguments, it comes down to you two. It seems that what happens off stage is more important than what happens on it with this group!" Chris remarked.

Chris then grabbed the final marshmallow, holding it up in the air. Heather just had her arms crossed as she waited to get it, while Zoey now clenched both fists and held them close to her face in fear. "The sixth person voted off this island is..."

...

...

...

...

...

...

...

...

...

...

...

...

...

...

...

...

...

...

...

...

...

...

"Zoey."

Heather was tossed the final marshmallow, leaving Zoey shocked at this outcome. "W-Wha... why me?" Zoey let out in a defeated tone.

Heather flicked the marshmallow into her mouth, smiling while looking ahead. "Let this be a lesson to anyone else who thinks they can make an alliance to stop me. You can't, so don't bother! And if I find out you're trying anyway, you're next!" Heather warned the rest of the team.

Gwen crossed her arms, glaring at Heather. "You won't get away with this..." Gwen warned Heather, but she still didn't care at all what the goth had to say.

"Zoey, it's time for you to head to the Dock of Shame for your drone date!" Chris informed Zoey, pointing to the dock.

Zoey sighed and stood up, looking back at her team sadly. Mike, Gwen, Cameron, B, Beth, Duncan, and MK all waved goodbye to her though in various ways, and that sad look turned into a bittersweet one.

-Parting Confessional: Zoey-

Zoey was slumped over, but she had a small smile on her face. "Okay, maybe I should've played the alliance thing a little more seriously, I didn't think I was going to be the target tonight. I thought only Gwen knew I was with her! But ah well, that's that. I'm honestly just happy I made some friends in my short time here! I'd never meet people like Gwen and Mike back home, so I'm happy I did!"

-End Confessional-

Zoey walked down the Dock of Shame until she got to the end, where the Drone of Despair then swooped down and grabbed her flower, pulling her up and away by it. "Yow! Hey! I put a lot of work into that!" Zoey cried out as she was carried off.

Chris watched her fly off into the sky, then looked to the rest of the Lightning Squad. "Well certainly some things have been established tonight! Will they continue like this? We'll see tomorrow, but you can all head to bed now, the Killer Bass still need to have their ceremony!" Chris dismissed the Bolts, who all promptly got up and left in their little cliques.

Cutting back to the woods, the 16 members of the Ferocious Trout walked along the path that led to the elimination ceremony together while dramatic music once again played. A hummingbird chirped as they passed by, before being scared off by a snake hissing at it. Banners with their logo blew in the wind as they passed by, then sitting down in front of the campfire.

The team sat down in two rows of 8, with Axel, Scarlett, Zee, Noah, Priya, Courtney, Izzy, and Emma in the front row while Chase, Cody, Jasmine, Samey, LeShawna, Scott, Nichelle, and Rodney sat in the back. "Welcome Bass, you didn't think you'd find yourself here did you? But here you are, and now one of you will suffer so the rest can get to bed." Chris greeted the team.

Chef stepped forward now, pointing at Cody to make his first call out. "Cody! You went after Scary Girl and got your arms broken instead of preparing for the challenge, your team needed you man! The ladies you pine after might not be too happy!" Chef scolded Cody.

-Confessional: Killer Bass: Cody-

Cody had a smirk on his face, pointing at himself with his thumbs. "So what I couldn't land a goth girl here, the guys know I'm cool, I've still got it!"

-End Confessional-

"Courtney!" Chef made his next call out. "You were pretty bossy today and forced yourself into the show, some of your teammates may not be happy with you!" Chef informed her, but she just rolled her eyes at this.

-Confessional: Killer Bass: Courtney-

Courtney scoffed, then pointed at herself. "The idiots may not be happy with me, but I got us a perfect score! We might have lost to the Lightning Squad too if I didn't step in!"

-End Confessional-

"And Emma!" Chef began his last call out, making the girl stiffen up as she heard her name. "Your team just only needed 2 out of 10 points to not be here tonight! You couldn't even do that, so your team has to send someone home now! That might just be you!" Chef scolded her the hardest.

-Confessional: Killer Bass: Emma-

Emma winced, having her hands on her cheeks worriedly. "Okay, so... I messed up today. Bad. But it was because of Chase! But from now on, my focus is on helping my team win!"

-End Confessional-

With the callouts down, now Zee sat back down, having been the last one to vote. "Okay! The votes have been cast, so it's marshmallow time! Get one and you're golden, don't and it's curtains for you!" Chris declared, grabbing the first marshmallow from the tray of 15.

"Marshmallows go to..."

...

...

...

...

...

...

"Priya."

Priya caught hers happily, proud of her performance today.

...

...

...

...

...

...

"Nichelle."

Nichelle leaned back and caught hers, glad she coasted by easily.

...

...

...

...

...

...

"Zee."

Zee's marshmallow landed on his soda can, so he just ate it and washed it down with more soda.

...

...

...

...

...

...

"Izzy."

Izzy let out a snake hiss playfully as she caught her marshmallow, licking it briefly before eating it.

...

...

...

...

...

...

"LeShawna."

LeShawna caught hers with one hand, the other hand on her lap, just very comfortable at the moment.

...

...

...

...

...

...

"Rodney."

Rodney had a big smile as he was tossed his marshmallow, this time just eating it normally.

...

...

...

...

...

...

"Axel."

Axel let out a pleased grunt as she was tossed her marshmallow, catching his with a firm fist.

...

...

...

...

...

...

"Jasmine."

Jasmine had a pleased smile as she got hers, knowing she wasn't at all in danger.

...

...

...

...

...

...

"Scott."

Scott snickered as he caught his, already having a feeling on who was going home.

...

...

...

...

...

...

"Scarlett."

Scarlett caught hers without much emotion, just slipping the marshmallow into her mouth.

...

...

...

...

...

...

"Noah."

Noah lazily caught his marshmallow, having a smug smile on his face as he glanced at his target.

...

...

...

...

...

...

"Samey."

Samey's frown faded as she was safe, despite not messing up at all she had still been a bit worried.

...

...

...

...

...

...

"Chase."

Chase let out a woop as his name was called, and Emma grumbled as he celebrated his safety.

...

...

...

...

...

...

"Courtney."

Courtney smirked as her name was called, catching her marshmallow with two fingers and popping it into her mouth with satisfaction.

That left the bottom two now, being Cody and Emma. Cody hugged himself, looking extra worried now, while Emma pressed her hands on her cheeks in fear. "Cody, Emma, you both had a pretty bad showing today, but only one of you will live to see the next act! And that person is..."

...

...

...

...

...

...

...

...

...

...

...

...

...

...

...

...

...

...

...

...

...

...

...

...

"Emma!"

Chris tossed the final marshmallow to Emma, who let out a huge sigh of relief as she caught it with both hands. "Boom! In your face!" Emma cheered as she jumped up from her seat, rubbing her safety in Cody's face.

"What was that? Dudes? I thought we were all cool!" Cody let out in confusion.

"Dudes? Look at who this team is filled with." Noah retorted smugly.

Nichelle nodded, crossing her arms as she looked disgusted with Cody. "Yeah, take your playboy ways off this island hun!" Nichelle taunted Cody, snapping a finger while wagging it at him.

Cody pouted a bit at this, now more annoyed than anything. "Whatever, the Codemeister doesn't need this show!" Cody declared, pretending he didn't care.

"Cody, the Dock of Shame awaits dude!" Chris directed Cody, already walking that way himself.

-Parting Confessional: Cody-

Cody rubbed one arm, still pouting a bit. "I don't care that the girls voted me off, I've got my future ahead of me, there's girls with better taste out there! Scary Girl isn't ever going to get a date, and you can count on that!"

-End Confessional-

Cody stood at the end of the Dock of Shame with Chris now, crossing his casted arms and now trying not to cry. "Can't believe they couldn't... handle the Codemeister charms..." Cody muttered to himself, wiping an eye for a moment.

The Drone of Despair then swooped down and grabbed the casted arm, carrying him off as he tried to pull it out. "Yow! That arm is still healing! C'mon man!" Cody cried out as he was carried off.

Chris watched him leave with his hands behind his back, then smiled at the camera. "And so goes two people who really wanted to make connections! They went a bit differently, but I think we can learn a thing or two from both!" Chris stated cheekily.

"But, how will Emma bounce back from this? Will Heather's reign go completely unopposed now? Are the Gophers unstoppable? Stay tuned to find out next time on Total, Drama, Island!" Chris concluded the episode, raising his arms with the last few words of the episode.

Author's Note:

Yeah this was a long wait, but this has mostly been in an between project for me while I work on my main timeline. Plus pushing these plots forward and keeping track of them all is just a bit much if you couldn't tell. Cody is someone I was never quite in the club for honestly. I didn't grow up relating to him, and I think both of his runs are rather underwhelming. I think they've just done his type of character better, but he's funny enough to go early like this. I'd rank him at 60th. As for Zoey, I've written her going super far before and I think making her a Heather victim like this yet still making friends is a short but sweet way to handle her plotline. Never was huge on her though, and All Stars just made things worse for her. I'd put her at 67. I hope you all enjoyed this episode despite the wait though, and I'll see you all next time!
