New perk gained!
Teacher. (Allows you to teach certain skills and perks to other people).
New skill gained.
- Conqueror's Haki 5%. Allows you to exert your own willpower over others, doing things such as intimidating, knocking people out, and if strong enough even damage the world around them. (NOTE! This Haki cannot be trained and only improved through combat and the user's own will becoming stronger).
Aleister grinned as he checked over the latest ability he'd unlocked for his Digivice, it was simple but extremely useful.
Digi-Analyze.
Holding out his Digivice to Tsumemon, it lit up and a synthetic, feminine voice began to speak.
Tsumemon, an unidentified species Digimon, digivolving from Kuramon. It has grown significantly more ferocious, corroding data at tremendous speed, and causing malfunctions in the network.
Its special attacks are Nail Scratch, where it imbues its nails with energy and attacks, and Bubbles, sending out bubbles from its eye to intimidate the opponent.
No one man could remember every Digimon, and although he knew of many, Aleister would be the first to admit he didn't know every Digimon. So this would be handy once he encountered more Digimon, whether trough dimensional travel or creating more himself.
Digivice upgraded.
Digi-Analyze, can analyze Digimon and present data on them.
"...".
"...".
The room was silent, awkwardly so.
Aleister was starting to think maybe he should've thought on this first, Cyber hadn't really been doing ANYTHING since she'd been activated besides Leviathan's attack and dealing with Coil, hell he wasn't even sure she could think for herself at all!
While he'd programmed a personality into the cyborg, it was starting to seem completely lacking. He tried recalling all the details...
"Would you like to play with Tsumemon?".
"Hm...?".
Five minutes later.
"Pauuu!". Tsumemon squealed happily as he was pat on the head by a content Cyber, a small smile on her face.
Aleister looked on in interest, the exact basis of Cyber's personality was simply 'Slavishly loyal, in love bodyguard. She likes cute things but is embarrassed by such, emotionally dead in combat'. His personal theory was the lack of attention to her had resulted in an emotionally dead state, not really an issue but still interesting to note.
Bond up/formed.
Tsumemon: 2.
Cyber: 1.
FB was seriously starting to question the incompetence of the Dragonslayers, it hadn't even taken her a full minute to hack through every defense they had, take control of their stolen Dragon suits, and kill every single one of them.
She quickly began going through their files, finding plans, notes, plans to talk with Teacher-
Oh?
Investigating further, she grinned, well well well... Who'd have thought Saint was one of those who'd been given abilities by Teacher? From some quick research of her own, she quickly discovered just how desperate Saint was to contact Teacher. She made a note to have the man assassinated once they acquired control of the Birdcage, the world only needed one mastermind in the shadows and that was her creator!
Of course this was all a distraction from her real prize, the Ascalon program, she approached the file containing it but froze. She quickly began checking it for any traps, disabling one that would activate if a suspected AI attempted to modify or use the program, but it was easily deleted and Ascalon was fully under her control.
With glee, she returned home to gift her Creator with Dragon's backdoor key.
Ah Saint, you died exactly as you deserved. There was really nothing any of them could do against FB, Dragon they had access to her coding and ways to control her, but FB is a fully unleashed AI with access to Digicode and close to becoming a Digital Human.
Also, there was literally no reason to spare the Dragonslayers when FB had access to every single file, and unlike Coil they weren't smart enough to keep some info on paper instead of computers.
While FB was out acquiring Ascalon, Aleister was on his own equally important mission...
Well, at least important for his food budget.
The idea of 'meat farms' sounded like some odd name for an animal farm, but in truth? It was describing exactly what it was. Looking over the brown apple in his hand, he couldn't help but laugh.
"The Digital World truly is beyond all logic...". Grabbing a pre-prepared skewer and walking over to a campfire that had also been pre-prepared, he started to cook the apple. A few minutes later, it was ready. "Down the hatch...".
Taking a bite out of the meat apple, Aleister's eyes widened at the explosion of flavor, the taste of steak across his tongue. It was a bit at odds with the apple's texture, but in a good way? He quickly finished it off, no point in wasting good food. Standing up, he looked across the farm, he'd already talked to Medea about brainwashing a few of their captures into farmers to take care of the land, but it was only in the planning stages currently.
At the very least, an easy source of food really helped out (Especially as he could feed his captives more, some of them had been getting a bit worryingly thin).
Island 2 upgraded!
Island 2 - A small island, covered in a large farm that grows meat from the ground, along with a forest of meat apples.
Creating a super computer was surprisingly easy, but creating one that could handle the power of a Photonic Crystal and magical energy? That was a bit harder.
Aleister had considered using the laptop that had contained the Digital World as a base, but eventually he decided on just heading out to buy a new laptop to serve as the core for this super computer.
Working with FB to handle the coding, using alchemy to perfect every circuit and wire, watching as Medea wrote magical symbols inside the computer, and finally adding his own Digicode to it... It was surprisingly simple looking, a bulky looking black laptop.
Pressing the power on button, he grinned as it came online, perfect...
- Super Computer.
A large bulky black laptop, containing the combined processing power of a marble of Photonic Crystal, Digicode, and Aleister's own super genius. It also carries protective magic from Medea, allowing her to track it from anywhere across the planet.
Aleister looked nervously over the news he'd just read, that... That was way to close.
Slaughterhouse Nine seen in United States, the line haunted him deeply, a part of him screaming with all the chaos that'd happened in Brockton Bay lately, the S9 coming back wasn't out of the question...
He would not have all he'd worked on destroyed, he refused.
Checking PHO, he managed to discover exactly where the S9 currently were. He couldn't trust a bomb to handle, Medea's summons, or even Okita's assassination skills.
No, there was only one thing he was sure could erase them forever.
"Iris... Come with me, we have a mission to do". He spoke to the Demi-Servant of Lancer, who nodded and approach him as he began to put on the Faust Mystic Code, while Iris put on a simple black cloak and pure white mask.
He placed a hand on her shoulder, the two disappeared.
New mission.
] Destroy the Slaughterhouse Nine (Ultra).
Faust, no he couldn't even think of himself as that right now, Aleister breathed heavily. They were nowhere near the S9, but nerves were still getting to him.
"M-master, I'm not sure I have the mana to do this". Iris looked down, she was reliant on the mana of her Servant half in order to power her abilities, A rank Mana or not, she was trying to basically wipe an entire town off the map.
"Here". He handed her five red crystals, he'd created them a long time ago when trying to create a way to get more mana. "Crush them to drain them, if you still don't have enough, we'll simply have to do a mana transfer".
"A-a mana transfer!?". Iris blushed, to be given the honor of receiving her master's mana so directly, part of her wanted to just directly ask for it, but she knew she needed to stay focused. Taking a deep breath, she summoned Rhongyomniad, focusing on it, her eyes began to glow bright green.
Aleister took a step back, he had no desire to be caught within the power of Rhongoymniad.
"Sacred Lance, unsealing full restraints...".
Clouds began to be pushed away, as space-time shifted around a point in the sky, a vortex of pure light began to form.
Across the world, every single parahuman froze, falling to their knees in pain, yet those without powers were fine.
"Beyond the skies, the far side of the earth".
Behemoth and Leviathan began to rampage, their destructive charge limited by the fact both were in areas far, far away from humans. While the Simurgh had simply frozen in orbit, not doing anything to avoid the various satellites and asteroids.
The vortex of light transformed, shifting, becoming solid, larger. Its very presence spoke of ancient mystery and power.
"This is the wedge of light that stands at the ends of the world!".
A golden man fell to his knees, an agonized expression on his face. In another world, the un-powered members of Cauldron did their best to subdue the rampaging Case 53's.
The light, which had become a titanic spear, aimed down on a destroyed town, beginning to fall down.
"Rhongomyniad!".
In a burst of light, the Slaughterhouse Nine, the town they had destroyed, the area around it... Everything was erased, completely and utterly destroyed.
The conqueror grinned, perfect.
Mission complete
[X] Destroy the Slaughterhouse Nine (Ultra).
As much as I was tempted to do a mana transfer scene, I want Iris to get a higher bond level first and to become a bit more of a person.
Aleister sipped a from a glass of wine, he usually didn't drink, but right now? He was feeling great, Brockton Bay was in chaos, parahumans fighting each other in the open streets with no care for secret identities, perfect for him to take advantage of. The rest of the world was distracted from Rhongomyniad being used to destroy the S9 and the strange reaction the Endbringers had, it was all perfect-
Creaaaak!
His eye twitched... Really? Something was happening now?! Checking over his camera's, he frowned as he saw a group of what could only be Capes breaking down his door. Great, they ether wanted to rob him or had some other stupid reasoning. Six of them, one dressed as a magician who'd seemingly teleported in and unlocked his door, another dressed in red-black sun themed armor, a woman carried by a demon looking creature, a large man in bulky armor, a blond teen who looked extremely nervous but stuck close to the final member-
Archer.
Why!? Why was the Demi-Servant of Archer here!? Instantly Aleister moved, using Flash Air he quickly put his Mystic Codes on, used telepathy to contact his Servants, and then sent digital messages to Cyber, Tsumemon, and Iris. A plan already forming in his mind.
Countdown: 0.
As many guessed, the countdown was to the Traveler's attack! Yaay...? Gonna do something similar to the Leviathan event, you guys will get to suggest actions for each character, what they do, and all that, then in a few hours I'll make a proper voting using the different suggestions. AFTER the Travelers are dealt with, you'll get the reward for defeating them and killing the Slaughterhouse Nine, so double reward there! (I will also be accepting ideas for Gaia's blessings, but be warned many will probably be refused).
I will also be making an omake combining the reactions of the capes identities being revealed, Rhon being used, and the Travelers own thoughts entering this fight.
