The Specter Family Chronicles

Chapter Twenty-Four: The First Valentine's Day

February 12th, 2018

Harvey and Mike's

Eleven Month Anniversary

Central Park

Manhattan, New York

Mike was still getting over his illness and had woken on the morning of their anniversary feeling better than he has in two weeks. He could hear Harvey shuffling around in the kitchen and managed to get himself out of bed. He walked slowly out to the kitchen, where Harvey was making breakfast. When his boyfriend saw him, he immediately went over to Mike, and hugged him, kissing him on the lips, before helping Mike over to the bench seats, and telling him to sit down. Mike grabbed Harvey's hand across the island counter, and whispered 'Happy Anniversary' to him, whilst he kissed his hand. Harvey smiled and asked Mike how he was feeling today, and if he might be up for leaving the house. Mike nodded, he is sick of looking at the same four walls, he needs a change of scenery. They ate their breakfast curled up to each other on the couch, whilst mindless television shows played in the background, then they got up to wash their dishes, clean the kitchen, and have a shower. Because their first Valentine's Day as a couple is in two days, Harvey didn't plan anything overly extravagant for their anniversary, just a lunch date, maybe a walk-through Central Park, giving some gifts. It's also good that Mike is feeling better because he'll be able to (hopefully) keep his food down. He has been rather good lately, so fingers crossed. Once both men were dressed and had kissed each other's faces off (almost), they grabbed their things and jackets and left the apartment. Spring had just started to appear in New York, and as the colder weather is replaced by more sun, Harvey is excited for Summer to be upon them, because that means that Mike will wear less clothes in the house and also because hopefully by then, they'll be engaged, and they can take their yearly vacation, he's thinking maybe to London, but he has to work that out more with Jessica first. Mike and Harvey stepped onto the sidewalk in front of their building, where Ray would usually meet them, but he wasn't waiting for them today. Harvey told Mike that they're going to walk, it isn't that far to Central Park, and it's a nice day outside. Mike smiled, and wrapped an arm around Harvey's waist, his boyfriend repeating the action, then they walked off down the street, just chatting amicably between themselves. Harvey was filling Mike in on all the things he's been missing at the firm whilst he's been off sick. For the most part, Mike knows that everyone missed him, Rachel and Donna had been by to see him a few times, and after his fever had gone down, he was visited by both Jessica and Louis… which was surprising but welcomed, nonetheless.

By the time they reached Central Park, the sun was out in full force, and Mike took the opportunity to pull his phone out and snap some pictures, whilst Harvey just let himself be dragged along by his boyfriend. He didn't mind though. It was just nice to see him up, and he has all the colour back in his face. It had come on so suddenly, that they didn't know what it was, but Mike hadn't taken care of himself very well in the lead up to the big case last month, so when he had calmed down enough, his body caught up to him, and in order to make him stop, it made him sick. Harvey had been sure that he would get it, but Dr. Faulk and Molly had both assured him that it was not a 'contagious Fever', but if he was worried about getting it then he should get his shots. He wouldn't have minded, Mike could have been the one terrified out of his mind about him, but he couldn't exactly blame his boyfriend for getting sick. He was angry that Mike hadn't taken care of himself in the lead up to the case, but he's been getting better at trying to look after himself. Donna had also been so worried about him because there was a point where they thought that Mike might end up in the hospital with his fever continuing to rise, but it was lucky that he didn't have to go there. That would've been a nightmare for all of them. They've been out for less than thirty minutes, when they bump into Rachel and her new boyfriend, Scott. Harvey must have given Rachel a look, because they didn't stay long, but the young paralegal told Mike that she was glad he's feeling better and she'll see him at work, before she and Scott went back to their day, and Harvey pulled Mike towards his favourite place to eat when he's in Central Park. Because it was such a nice day, the young girl behind the counter at Central Eats Café asked if they would like an outside table. Mike just shrugged, looking around whilst Harvey said that they would just remain inside. It was more likely that they would be seen outside, and Harvey doesn't want to bump into any more of their friends, at least not today anyway. Mike smirked when Harvey pulled out his chair and told him to sit down, then chuckled when his boyfriend went about making a scene of sitting in his own chair. He only did it to make Mike smile and laugh, and he succeeded. They don't call him the best closer for nothing.

'What do you fancy Michael?' he asked, perusing his own Menu, whilst Mike was just looking around the inside of the café.

'Can I just get the Salad Bowl and a Soda Water?' Mike asked, not wanting to push it too much with the fancy food.

'Are you feeling alright? We can go home if you're not,' Harvey said, but Mike just grabbed his hand.

'I'm feeling fine Harvey, I just don't want to push it. Really, I'm great. Order something fancy. I'll live vicariously through you eating it for today,' Mike replied, smirking at the look on Harvey's face, then winking

While they were eating their lunch, Mike and Harvey witnessed several things. The first, was obviously a fight between two guys over something… they didn't really hear what it was about, but they heard the shouting. They were kicked out. Then there was another guy, who proposed to his girlfriend (she said yes), and they spent the rest of their meal mouth-fucking each other. There was another couple, two tables over from Mike and Harvey who looked like they had never been out on a date before, and Mike lamented that it 'might be their first date' and that 'Harvey can't talk'. The best one that they witnessed, was some girl finding out that her partner was cheating on her, when she came to have lunch with her friend, and found him mouth-fucking the other girl. Mike had to choke back his laughter at the sheer idiocy of the whole thing, and when the entertainment had finally died down, Harvey called for their bill, and they stood to put their jackets back on, whilst Harvey paid at the counter. For the most part, their anniversaries, in between all the big landmark ones, have just been nice, and sweet. Mike likes them that way. There isn't any pressure, they don't have to go big all the time. It's good to just have these little ones in between. Besides, Mike knows that Harvey is planning something big for their one-year anniversary next month. They've been together for a year almost. One Year. To be honest, Mike didn't think their relationship would last this long in the beginning, and Harvey would probably have agreed to that statement too, but now he wouldn't change it for the world. They head back towards Central Park, where there are now a few Spring Markets opening. Harvey has some presents for Mike, just their traditional ones that they give each month, but he figured it be best to do them at home, then Mike can thank him with great sex. They haven't been intimate in a while, mostly because Mike was sick, and Harvey understands, but he really wants his boyfriend right now. He wants him all over, he wants him inside… he doesn't realise that he's so lost in thought until he almost runs into Mike, who has stopped to look at one of the stalls selling crystals. Harvey apologises, and just nods when Mike asks him if he's alright. He doesn't want to be here too long. Most of these stalls are just people selling junk from their houses, and he doesn't have time for fake shit.

Harvey did end up buying a couple of crystals. Two of them had "healing" properties that are meant to help with health and wellbeing. Mike just rolled his eyes at his boyfriend, but he didn't say anything. They had just returned to the condo when Harvey's cell phone rang, and he grabbed his out of his pocket to see the screen flashing Jessica's name. Mike had gone to the bathroom to take his antibiotics, and Harvey answered the phone. He knew that this could end one of two ways: sex or no sex. He was hoping for the first one, Jessica calling him on the weekend isn't something that she usually does, unless she needs them all to come into the firm for some reason. When Mike came out of the bathroom, he was naked. Harvey turned to look at his boyfriend, and almost dropped his phone. Mike just smiled at him and turned to stalk back into the bedroom. Harvey hung up on Jessica, he'll deal with the consequences later, and literally ran into the bedroom, and pounced on Mike, who was stroking himself slowly on top of the duvet. Harvey batted the hand away, and licked Mike's prick, before taking his boyfriend in his mouth. Whilst he was blowing Mike, he was also trying to undress himself, which Mike found amusing, and was trying to help, but Harvey was teasing him, and his hands were kind of at the mercy of his boyfriend right now. Harvey released Mike with a pop, and kneeled up to remove his shirt, and pants until he was as naked as Mike, then he straddled Mike's waist, leaning down to kiss him, the two of them grinding together. They're just making out like teenagers, which Harvey has nothing against, like he said it's been a while because Mike had been sick, so anything that involves him and Mike naked… he'll take whatever he can get. He feels Mike's hands cup his ass cheeks, and squeeze, pulling their hips closer together, his fingers trailing from the inside to the outside of Harvey's skin, sending pleasant shivers up his spine. Harvey had never "ridden" anyone before, so when he whispered this to Mike, the young man basically threw the lube at him. Harvey fingered himself enough, ignoring Mike's protests, and lined his hole up with Mike's prick. Mike wanted to thrust up into the tight heat, but he didn't, not wanting to hurt Harvey, but the sight of Harvey slowly lowering himself down… there was a look in Mike's eyes… Harvey couldn't tell what it was… but it was a darkness… he smirked, then raised himself up hearing Mike moan, before impaling himself back down, going deeper than before. Mike moaned, Harvey almost blacked out from the sensation, leaning down to kiss his boyfriend.

'Oh… god… why did you never tell me how this felt Mike?' Harvey asked, setting a deliberate pace, as he felt Mike go deeper each time.

'You… ah… never… asked Harvey. I just… oh god… fuckyesyou'rethebestfuckiloveyou,' Mike spewed out, as Harvey lowered his body to Mike's again so he could kiss him.

'I love you too, now fuck me Mike, as hard as you need to,' Harvey said, not missing the look on Mike's face as he braced himself, Mike went to work.

'Ah… ah… oh god… ah…' Mike said through the thrusts, his fingers dug into Harvey's back, most likely they'll leave bruises or marks… neither of them cares right now.

Eleven Month Anniversary

The Condo Evening

Manhattan, New York

Harvey literally collapsed onto Mike when he came, whilst Mike gave another couple of thrusts as he too came into his boyfriend's arse. They eventually untangled themselves, and fell beside one another on the bed, tangling their legs back together, and they kissed, and tried to regain their breathing and mental capacity back. Mike just curled himself into his boyfriend. For the last couple of weeks, he's felt like shit, and all he's wanted to do was to just curl up to Harvey, so he's taking advantage of it whilst they have the opportunity. Harvey scolded Mike for getting naked without him being able to watch, but Mike just smirked and pinched his boyfriend's butt, causing Harvey to push him back into the mattress and tickle him, straddling his waist again, before they ended up just kissing one another. Mike could feel the heat rising in his veins again, he wouldn't mind if Harvey took him right here and now, but he does need to rest. The doctor did tell him to take it easy, and that 'just because you're feeling better Mike doesn't mean that you're one hundred percent yet'. Mike pushed Harvey off him, and sat up, pulling on a pair of sweatpants before stating that he's going to take his medication. There haven't been too many seizures since Mike went back onto Targent. He's had a couple of minor ones, and the one he had the other day, but since Christmas, they have been rather rare in most cases, which is good. Considering the infection that Mike just had, and on top of that if he'd had to worried about sporadic seizures, he doesn't know how he'd have gotten through all of that. Harvey rests his head on his hands behind his head, and watches as Mike potters around their room, tidying things up, folding clothes, and putting them back where they belong. In one month, Harvey is going to ask Mike to marry him. It's like the countdown is on, and he's beginning to feel the pressure. Tomorrow, he and Donna are going to pick up Mike's ring, and then he has to find some place in the condo to hide it, where he knows that Mike won't ever look. They haven't really broached the subject of marriage, and Harvey knows it's because Mike thinks he'll turn and run a mile if he even so much as thinks the word, and yes that's his fault. But all that is going to change next month. In two days however, he has a wonderful Valentine's Day planned for them… and no it doesn't just involve sex… although he does plan to take Mike at some point during the day. Of course, they're going to be at work on Valentine's Day, but after that, its free game, and he's got plans…. Okay… so he and Donna (because she was the one who technically made the plans, although they were Harvey's ideas)have plans, but he's the one executing those plans.

For dinner, they decided to get takeout. Harvey couldn't be bothered driving to get it, so he just ordered a pizza. This is not how they usually would do for their anniversary, but Mike had been feeling a little off, and he didn't want to go out tonight considering Mike being sick, and it still being cold outside. He's thankful that Spring is bringing some sunshine, but the air is still freezing. Their pizza was, of course, cheesy crust. When it arrived, and Harvey had gone to answer the door, Mike was grabbing plates out of the cupboard, and setting them on the dining table. If they're having pizza, they're at least going to eat it off plates. He's tired of trying to get food stains out of their sofa, from the grotty hands that get wiped all over it. Harvey placed the box on the table, and paid the guy, then closed the door and headed back into the condo, finding Mike in the dining room, setting the table. He looked pale. Harvey was about to ask if he was up for eating, but the smell of the food must have set something off, because his boyfriend bolted to the bathroom. Harvey placed the box down on the bench and grabbed a glass of soda water and headed into their ensuite bathroom. Mike was leaning back against the wall, cool wash cloth on his forehead. Harvey handed him the drink, and grabbed the cloth, wiping it over Mike's body to cool him down. Mike didn't vomit again, but he did feel nauseas when Harvey helped him to his feet, and took him back into the bedroom, putting him into bed. He placed Mike's water on his bedside table, and the cool, wet cloth, before he angrily told Mike that if he apologises, he's going to make him sleep outside on the patio. Mike chuckled and closed his eyes. Figuring he'll let him sleep for a while, and check on him later, Harvey left the room, going back out to put their pizza in the fridge, and grabbing his laptop and some files so he could do some work before tomorrow, because no doubt Jessica will be on him about hanging up on her earlier. He had also sent a text to Molly and Mike's doctor, just to let them know that he'd thrown up again. Mike had been prescribed an anti-biotic, the first one he was allergic too, the second one did nothing, but this one seems to be helping, his boyfriend was actually able to get up today, and made it through most of the morning and afternoon without throwing up. So, it might be the winner. Harvey returned to their bedroom and made himself comfortable on the bed beside Mike so he could do some work.

'Stempleton? Is this a new client?' Mike asked, he had rolled over and curled up to Harvey, who was writing an email.

'He might be. If all goes well, we might be having a client meeting with him,' Harvey replied, kissing Mike's forehead.

'What does this one own? Is he the head mogul for some underground organisation that sells Ties?' Mike asked, but his joke didn't land, mostly because he was so tired, and still felt like shit, and because Harvey just isn't that funny…

'No Mike, he's the CEO of Stempleton Trading. He's big into the stocks,' Harvey replied, and Mike just made a sound akin to a grunt from his shoulder.

Pearson, Specter, Litt

Valentine's Day

Manhattan, New York

When Mike woke up in the morning, the first thing he noticed was that he was alone in bed. The second thing he noticed was that there was something covering his back. When he sat up, rubbing his face, he noticed that the bed was covered in rose petals. Holding back the smirk he so desperately wanted to let out, Mike smiled and moved to get out of bed, noticing the card on his nightstand. He'd had Donna set up something special for Harvey in his office this morning as well, so great minds think alike. Or really, this was Donna's thinking and Harvey's execution. Mike grabbed the card and opened it, seeing the pressed rose, and smiling when he saw the words 'first of the season' scrawled in Harvey's neat handwriting near the bottom of the card. Mike held the pressed flower up so he could smell it, then grabbed the flower press that Harvey had given him for Christmas and preserved it inside until they're able to get a frame for it. Mike didn't have to be at the firm until ten today. Jessica had mandated that all partners were having a 'learning day', so all associates weren't required until later. It had made Harvey grumble, but it was nice to be able to sleep in. Mike went to go and shower, wondering how they're going to get all the rose petals off of their bed without making too much of a mess, because he knows (or at least hopes) that Harvey has something wonderful planned for tonight… because Donna has been teasing him that he does, and his boss isn't exactly "subtle" when it comes to 'finding out what things Mike might like to do'. Usually, Mike wouldn't do Valentine's Day. It was never his favourite time of year, even when he was in a relationship. He'd had so many bad experiences, he would usually just skip the day, not leave the house, pretend that he was sick if he had a boyfriend… he knows that sounds horrible, but it was better than actually having to deal with it. But he's been looking forward to this year. His and Harvey's first of many Valentines' Day's together. His gift at the office for Harvey wasn't extravagant. Donna had suggested covering it in Rose Petals, but Mike had just sarcastically asked her who would be cleaning it up afterwards, and that idea was booted. Harvey had mentioned something to him years ago, offhandedly about a Valentine's that his parents had, where his father had brought his mother a single stemmed Red Rose, and a card that simply said 'I love you, always'. Mike had taken some inspiration from that for his boyfriend, but he'll have to wait until he gets to the office to find out if Harvey liked it.

When Harvey got into work at eight o'clock, Jessica met him by the elevator. Her arms were crossed, and she had an angry look on her face. Harvey listened to her as she ranted, walking beside him to his office. Donna was not at her desk, so Harvey couldn't even use talking to her as a distraction. He noticed the long, white box and card on his desk, placing his briefcase down on his chair and taking his jacket off, hanging it over the back, before smiling and grabbing the card. Jessica just stood watching him, a small smile forming on her face, as Harvey smiled at what Mike had written in the card. When he opened the box, he smirked and picked up the rose, smelling it whilst Jessica made some sly comment about Mike's inability to get more than one rose. But Harvey loves that Mike had taken inspiration from his parents and done this for him. It's not much, but it's just enough for them. He doesn't want to put too much pressure on their first Valentine's Day, but this has already been a good day so far. Harvey returns the rose to its box, and places the card back on top of it, ignoring Jessica's comments as they head towards their partners meeting. Jessica's smile followed Harvey all the way to the conference room. Harvey decided that he was going to ignore her for the rest of the day. Louis was waiting for them already; with the files they would need spread out in front of them. He was not happy to be doing the work of the associates, but Jessica placated him by telling him that they would be busy all day with a company work practice seminar. Harvey looked over at Jessica, he didn't know that was going to happen today. That would mean that between this meeting, and Mike getting here, he basically wouldn't see his boyfriend all day. Jessica whispered something in his ear, handed him a file and walked to the other end of the room, smirking at him as she sat down. Harvey just glared at her. Yes. He is going to ignore her today. At eight-thirty, the partners had settled in the conference room, and their meeting had begun. Donna had gone into Harvey's office to make sure that his flower wouldn't die, by putting it in a vase, and the box on the shelf. He was happy that Mike had called her and asked her to help him out with this, and she's looking forward to hearing all the details of what Harvey had done this morning, because her boss wouldn't tell her anything about what his plans were. She was on the phone, confirming their reservations for tonight, when she got a call from Mike asking if she would be able to send someone to the condo.

'Mike, what is going on? You don't have to be here for another hour?' Donna asked, worry seeping into her voice.

'You need to get Harvey, Louis and Jessica and tell them that Tanner is heading to the firm, and he's going to start a war,' Mike said, and it sounded like he was rushing through the condo.

'What do you mean Mike?' Donna said, she was completely worried about him now, she heard something slam, and then Mike swore, before he called for the doorman to get Ray.

'Donna, I know they're in that big partner meeting, but you need to let Jessica know. The firm is about to come under attack from Tanner and his douchebag of a firm. I'll explain everything when I get there, just pass on the message. Please,' Mike said, and then there was silence.

Just like clockwork, at nine o'clock, Travis Tanner strolled into Pearson, Specter, Litt like he owned the fucking joint. Mike had just arrived not five minutes earlier, and Donna had managed to get a message to Jessica, who had left Alex to run the partners' meeting, whilst she Louis, and Harvey attended to something else. The meeting was happening in Harvey's office, Mike had been pacing back and forth reading a file when he saw the three Name Partners coming towards him. Harvey made eye contact with him, and like a book he could read Mike. Travis Tanner appeared not a second later, stupid smirk on his face as he entered Harvey's office smiling that shit eating grin that Harvey wanted to punch off the man's face. If Mike knew about this before now, it means that Tanner must have gone to the Condo before he came here, and that pisses him off even more, the fact that he got Mike involved in whatever shit this was. Jessica had her arms crossed, standing majestically in front of all of them, asking what the hell was going on. Mike handed her a file, where she noticed that he had already been making notes. Considering that just an hour ago, she thought that everything was going to be fine today, then Tanner shows up with a file that changed everything. Apparently, he's re-opening a case that will greatly affect Pearson, Specter, Litt, and he wanted to give them a heads up before he opens the flood gates, and the fact that he'd gotten Mike involved from the beginning means that he's doing this to get back at Harvey. Louis raised this irk with the man, who just sighed and tried to deflect that that was what's going on, but they all know. Mike was still flipping through the file, making notes and came across something that seemed…odd… about this whole thing. Whilst Tanner was here though, he didn't want to say anything, the fact that the man came to their house is proof enough that he wanted Mike involved in this. Harvey took the file from Jessica and immediately recognised the case number. He told Mike to go down to the file room and grab the corresponding box, whilst Mike just nodded, handed Harvey the file, and left the room. He didn't stop to say hi to anyone, just kept his head down as he took the elevator to the floor where the file room was located. Tanner handed them something else, then turned and left, a sarcastic comment as he left the room. Jessica sat down on Harvey's couch, whilst Louis asked if he could return to his office for a moment. He was dismissed. Mike returned minutes later with the box Harvey had asked for. He placed it on the table in the office, and they opened it.

It was almost one o'clock by the time they caught a break in the case. It was a bigshot that Harvey had fought against in court and won. Tanner was re-opening the case on behalf of the guy in prison, because apparently 'new evidence' that had been 'hidden at the first trial' had come to light. Mike couldn't see anything different between the cases, except for the dates on some of the evidence admittances. Harvey had had enough of this whole case and didn't want to give Tanner the satisfaction of knowing that this was getting to him. He declared that he's going to have lunch, and the others should do the same. Mike didn't seem to move from his place at the table, but Jessica stood and asked Harvey to keep her in the loop. He nodded, and she graciously left the office, shortly followed by Louis, who said he'll 'keep looking' as well. Mike didn't say anything, his head was buried in the box he had brought in earlier. They had the original files from the case, and Smith and Devane would have their own files, so now they need to find out whether or not Smith and Devane have falsely planted new evidence for this case, or if something else is going on. Harvey could barely remember this case, it was so long ago, back in 2007. Mike was working so hard, he jumped at Harvey touching his shoulder. The blue-eyed lawyer looked up at his boyfriend, who pulled him to his feet, and into a kiss, thanking him for the rose and the card. Mike smirked and told him that 'he's cleaning the petals in their room', whilst Harvey just smiled and held Mike close to him. Donna observed this from her desk and couldn't help but smile. Her boys are so cute together. Mike just let Harvey hold him until he was satisfied. Alex had dropped in earlier to give Harvey notes about what they had talked about in the meeting, which he was going through before he had decided to spend the next five minutes hugging Mike. He took in Mike's scent, the cologne he was wearing and something so exclusively Mike that he was just addicted to. Oh, let's be real, Harvey is addicted to everything about Mike Ross. As nice as their moment was, he knew that they couldn't stay here all day. Harvey suggested the hot dog cart for lunch and took Mike's hand as they headed out of the office. Mike shot a wink to Donna who smirked, on his way past. They were just about to step onto the elevator when Louis caught up to them. He had been looking into the case that Tanner had opened, and apparently, he'd found something important.

'What is it, Louis?' Harvey asked, not letting go of Mike's hand, even when people started looking at them.

'Tanner specifically requested this case to be re-opened. He went to the DOJ and requested access to Michaelson. Apparently, the guy has some unfinished business with you,' Louis said, remembering the case at the time.

'Yeah, I assumed that he would have. Is there something else Louis?' Harvey asked, noticing that the man was fidgeting.

'Yeah, Tanner made a few calls from his personal cell to a couple of numbers, one was the DOJ, another was the prison where Michaelson is incarcerated… and another was made about five months ago… to Edith Ross,' Louis said, as Mike shared a look with Harvey and then with Louis.

Chez Olivier

Upper East Side

Manhattan, New York

When Ray pulled up outside Chez Olivier, one of the fanciest French restaurants in New York, Mike wasn't surprised. He knew that Harvey would take him somewhere like this, because they don't do it often, and he knows that his boyfriend wants to make this special. When they had finished work, they had agreed that they weren't going to let it ruin their Valentine's night, and for the most part it was working. They got out of the car, and headed over to the front of the building, where there was a short line. Mike had dressed himself up in That Suit again and had spent most of the car ride avoiding Harvey's advances. But he likes that something he wears can have that much of an effect on his boyfriend. He had just taken Harvey's hand, kissed his cheek and whispered that he's welcome to 'take it off him the minute they get in the door'. Harvey growled and kissed him, hard as if he would need it to sustain him through dinner. The one thing they didn't know about this restaurant, was that most of the staff were French speaking, and whilst they do talk in English, they like it if you go along with the whole vibe, so when Mike spoke fluent French to the waitress who took their order, Harvey was just gaping at him. Mike winked at him, then shrugged stating that he had 'read a French language book just for funzies one time'. Harvey rolled his eyes but there was a smile on his face. He wants to hear Mike speak to him in French more. Hell, he'll take lessons to learn the language if that's what it takes. Mike thanked the waitress as she delivered them their drinks, and then asked Harvey if this night was everything, he had wanted it to be, so far. His boyfriend nodded but promised that it wasn't over until he had Mike 'screaming his name'. Mike just raised an eyebrow at him, as if in challenge, raising his foot up Harvey's leg under the table, until it reached its desired place, causing Harvey to jump in his chair, almost spilling his drink as Mike's pressed his foot against Harvey's now hardened crotch. The look on the older lawyer's face was one that Mike would usually run away from at work, but right now, he just bites his bottom lip and smirks at his boyfriend. Harvey thinks he's given Mike too much power in their relationship. He's made the decision that tonight he's going to take some of that power back. He is both relieved and annoyed that Mike removed his foot when the waitress returned to take their dinner order.

Like Mike had promised, the minute they were back in the condo, Harvey had Mike against the door, and was gently removing his clothes. He pressed their bodies together, their lips together, every part of him was thrumming with anticipation of what was about to happen. Sure, their Valentine's Day hadn't been overly dramatic, but for their first one, it was perfect, and Mike agrees. He doesn't need big romantic gestures, that just means that you have to top it the next year, so now they can build up to that. It's perfect. The trail of clothes that led from the foyer to the bedroom was the only sign of life in the condo. Donna had promised that she wouldn't 'show up unannounced', and both men had turned their cell phones off before they got home. Harvey didn't want anything distracting them from their Valentine's Day sex. Mike felt his arms being bound, then he was tied to the bed. Harvey whispered that he's 'taking back some of the power', and Mike just smirked into the kiss as Harvey began teasing him. In a matter of seconds, Harvey had Mike emitting moans and his back arching off of their bed, in the touches that Harvey was placing all over his body. Mike let himself be at the mercy of Harvey. He feels Harvey straddle his waist, dicks bumping together, and their kissing, Harvey's hands fisting in his hair, grinding against one another, trying to find that sweet friction. Mike is so distracted by Harvey's kisses that he doesn't even feel Harvey line himself up, until he's thrusting into the tight, warm hole. Mike's back arches off the bed, he moans Harvey's name, head thrown back, arms pulled tight against their binds, then when he looks back at his boyfriend, he looks wrecked, feral almost, but he just smiles and that stirs something within Harvey, who begins moving slowly, mounting himself, hands either side of Mike's head as he thrusts into his boyfriend. This new angle and Mike's legs wrapped around Harvey's waist has the young lawyer almost screaming just like Harvey had wanted him too. It's hard, and fast and then slow and sweet. There are whispers of 'I love you', and moans of pleasure, and then they're both releasing, heads thrown back in pleasure as Harvey makes a couple of extra abortive thrusts into his boyfriend before he collapses onto the bed beside him. They clean up, and then curl up together, just snuggle and kissing lightly. Harvey thanks Mike for the rose, and Mike thanks Harvey for just loving him. Harvey wraps himself around Mike, holding onto him tightly, like if he doesn't, he might fade away.

'Best first Valentine's Day ever,' Mike said, kissing Harvey's cheek.

'Agreed. What should we do next year? I think we should go to Paris,' Harvey said offhandedly… he really wants to hear Mike talk to him in French again.

'Oh? If you want me to talk to you in French, Harvey all you have to do is ask,' Mike said, sending him a challenging look, raised eyebrow.

'Let me learn some of the language first Mike, then I'll get back to you,' Harvey whispered, kissing Mike who just smiled into it, mumbling things in French between kisses.
