Jenny and Mara never thought they would see their dad again after he left them on that beach 364 years and eleven days ago. But the unthinkable has happened. The Time Lords have found them, and there's nowhere to run. Their mum is long gone, and any family they have on Earth is hidden. Maybe its not so strange that the Vortex Manipulator would land them in the TARDIS after all.

After months of flirting and being put on assignments by Kate; while out on one the psychic paper reveals that both Ace and Graham have feelings for each other. It makes them embark on a relationship.

(A rewrite of Hell Bent) Somewhere in an American diner, the Doctor regales a waitress with his tales of coming the long way 'round. And slowly, they begin to grow closer, and we see how the Doctor came to this point. Light horror, drama, headcanon, bad attempts at British English spelling, possible long A/N's. Hope it's fun! :)

Just when the Doctor least expects it, a friendly face (albeit, one that's changed a few times) returns. Will two old friends get the chance to travel the universe happily once again? Or will the universe get between them?
