Memories Of The Forgotten Past, a poppy playtime fanfic

I'm pretty sure you guys have some question but I'll answer those when the newer versions of chapter 1-4 is reposted. But yes I've decided to move this chapter over here instead as I felt like it didn't fully fit with the main story. So this chapter takes place between Chapter 6 Back to the Game Station and Chapter 7

If one were to ask what is her first memory upon waking up, she would give you the answer:

"Darkness"

Darkness was all she could remember when she first gains awareness of her surroundings. The only thing she knew was pure darkness. She didn't have her senses yet, couldn't see, couldn't hear, couldn't smell, and feel what was around her. All she knew was that she is alive and doesn't know where she is or what she is. She wasn't sure if she was moving her body to find more answers...or...if she even had a body to begin with.

All she can do is wait and pray (pray to whom?) that she'll gain more answers as times passes.

And answers she gain.

Who knows how long time has passed but she quickly notices when she can faintly hear muffle sounds of something talking.

'...'

What is being said she wonder as time moved on and things began to come clearer.

The coldness she was feeling was due to being in a tank filled with water and when she was able to open her eyes everything was in a shade of blue due to the lights in the tank, where the only thing illuminating the room. Despite her vision being a bit blurry due to the water she was able to look around to see the room filled equipment and cabinets filled with items. Looking down to immediately see wires poking out of her body and leading up to the top of the tank. But what shock her was the fact that her body didn't look the same.

The same? She wonders. What did I look like before?

Her body seem to be in the palate of the shades of pink, her arms, legs, and torso seem to be noddle like.

It's her body...and yet not her body at the same time.

Who am I?

She wonders again as her eyes fell shut once again brining her to darkness.

There are down sides to regaining her senses one of them is being able to feel again. And she didn't like it one bit, as the first thing she felt was pain; agony pain. She was taken out of the tank and strap to a table and the next thing she felt was a burning sensation as they cut her open, the weird feeling of something moving around inside her as they shoved their hands in her body.

She couldn't do much but scream in pain as the humans around her talk, discussing stuff that she doesn't not fully comprehend. Unable to stop them from being tied down all she can do was scream in pain and watch as they poke and probe at her wondering when this pain will come to an end.

And on top of that the new emotion she felt besides confusion was anger.

Anger... pure hatred to these humans in white. And she swears on that day that she'll make them pay for all the pain that they have cause her.

Time moves on again and she was in a new room. A room where she'll spend majority of her time before she is move into a new room called 'Game Station', but before that she had to stay here unable to escape even though the door is right in front of her. She may be out of the tank, but the wires are still in her body attach to a machine. Don't get her wrong she tries to pull them out but all that cause her was intense pain, so she decided to wait when they free her from them and then she'll make a move.

She had thought she would be filled with nothing but anger for the rest of her existence that was until she met her the one whom at first became a close friend then later on began to see her as her child.

Yes, a child she will take care of, and those pesky humans won't stop her.

And if they try...

Well...

They'll learn the hard way of what happens when they take something of hers.

CRUNCH

Walking on the sand in the circular room with 18 holes in the wall. Coming to a pause in the center of the room Mommy look around before opening her mouth.

"Oh children~! Mommy has some very exciting news for you~!"

THUD

One at a time 12 colorful mini version of Huggy Wuggy popped out of the holes looking down at Mommy Long Legs each with a questioning looking on their faces. Mommy couldn't help the pang of guilt and sadness flow through her when she looks at the six holes that remained empty. Those six mini Huggies that were killed in protecting her on that day.

Oh, those stupid humans tried to replace them with six new ones made of the fools who killed the original six. Honestly Mommy doesn't know what they were thinking in that concept. Did they really think they were going to accept the new mini Huggies that killed their siblings!? Not only that they aren't the Huggies that Lily played with! How dare they try to replace them!?

That's okay though. The other Huggies rip them to shreds the moment they brought them here. The humans quickly learn not to make new ones unless they want a repeat of that day. A pity though as Mommy wasn't quiet down with that doctor.

Oh well, she thought, she got what she needed anyway.

She was brought out of her thoughts when one with a purple color tone open its mouth letting out some chittering noise.

"Oh, how Mommy wish that was the case, Vi, but sadly not. All the humans here are dead, so we can't play with them anymore."

That cause them to all pout in disappointment, and Mommy could help the small quiet huff of laughter escaping her lips.

"What I'm about to tell you my dear children is even better than those pathetic worms, is that Lily is back!" She cheered with a closed eye smile.

The room went deathly silent for a full five seconds before a roar of cheers and banging noise were heard throughout the room, as the mini Huggies all hollered in happiness.

"Yes! Yes! All very exciting news~!" Mommy laughed "Just like that doctor had predicted, Lily would find a way back to us!" Her face suddenly went serious making the others to calm down and look at her. "And just like that doctor had said, she doesn't fully remember about us or this place."

That spark an outcry with the others.

"Settle down, settle down, children. You mustn't forget what else she had said..."

"What do you mean she doesn't remember us?!"

"*Cough*...You're...you're aware of...*inhale of breathe*...Hug..gy's condition...right? Or else...you wo-*Cough*-wouldn't have...started this...mess..."

"Very much aware of his little...predicament. After overhearing a certain conversation, I went to see if this was true. Imagine my surprise that Huggy - the same Huggy who sole purpose was to act like a protector- doesn't remember a damn thing about the child he was made to watch over!? He didn't even know who I was talking about when I confronted him. The look on his face when I try to recounted all their interactions...he looks at me as if I lost my mind! He remembers everything else; the experiments, the Game Station and when he was moved to be a guard dog for this place, but not any interactions that he had with Lily! Hide-n-seak, tag, house, singing, holding her when she had a nightmare nothing! It was like she never existed! So yes A~man~da~ Mommy is very aware of his condition...but what does that have to do with Lily."

"*Pant*...*Pant*...*Hic*...*Pant*..."

"ANWSER ME!"

SNAP

"GAAAAHHH!"

"If you don't want me to break your child skull, like I just did to your arm...You. Better. Start. Talking."

"...*Pant* ...*Shacky exhale*..."

"..."

'*Sobs* Please...stop..."

"...Mommy is very disappointed with you doctor~. Mommy would have thought you would start talking in order to save your precious miracle baby. But it looks like Mommy guessed wrong. Hmph. Cries. So, I guess Mommy will just have to apply a bit more pressure to show you how fucking serious I am in getting what I want!"

"NO WAIT! I'LL TALK I'LL TALK!"

"Hop to it doctor. My patience is running very thin right now with you."

"*Shaky breath*...The...the method...we-we use on Huggy...is the same method *Inhale* we done...on Lily...but..."

"...Instead of a partial memory wipe, they gave her complete amnesia! Making her forget everything!" Mommy exclaimed as she threw her hands up in the air as her tone quickly turn to anger "Completely forgetting everything about us!" She growled.

"Gigigig!"

BANG

"*GROWLS*!"

"*SCREECHING*"!

"Yes..." Mommy said glaring at nothing in particular as her heated angry eyes looked around the mini Huggies "How angry we all are upon hearing that. They only did so because she kept trying to escape from that man! Oh, how Mommy wishes she could have gotten a hold of him. Oh~ The things I would have done!" She sighs "Mommy could only imagine what poor Lily was going through when they finally decided to suppress all of her memories; to wake up and not know anything at all much less your very name..."

Her voice trailed off as her eyes gain a blank look to them as she recalls of a time when everything was dark and all she knew was that she is alive and nothing more. Who am I? What am I? Where am I? Am I alive? Am I dead? What is death? I... I don't know who I am...

"Yes...one...could...only...imagine..." Her voice came out in a monotone sound as she stares at the wall head tilted to the side, eyes not taking in any of the faded colorful design painted on the wall.

"What your name?"

"My name...?"

"Yeah! Everyone has a name, see people call me Lily! Therefor my name is Lily."

"I see...then I'm 1222."

"That's not a name silly."

"It's not?"

"No! Those are numbers not a name!"

"I see...then I don't know what my name is."

"Hmmm...that's no good. Everyone has a name, and you should have one too! In that case, I'll have to give you a name myself!"

"Really you mean that?"

"Yep! We'll need to find something that will suite you...so let's see what can we name you..."

"Gigigi?"

"Hm..." Mommy was snapped out of her thoughts, taking note that the Huggies have all quiet down, looking up she saw all twelve of them looking down at her in concern. "Apologize my children, Mommy was lost in thoughts for a moment. Mommy is quite alright, thank you for the concern." She closed her eyes taking in a deep breath before slowly exhaling and open her eyes back up.

"Yes, that doctor has said that in order for them both to regain their memories...a triggering object must be in place." She calmly spoke. "Mommy believes that Huggy's memories began to slowly come back when he first laid eyes on her after all these years...the same could be said for Lily. However,..." She spoke a bit louder just as the Huggies where about to make more noise. "Mommy doesn't think they all came back to her. Overhearing the conversation between Lily and Poppy; Lily has stated that she can't remember whom Poppy was. But all hope is not lost!"

A wide smile broke across her face making all the Huggies to perk up from their tunnels. "As Mommy was watching her from the control room in the main room, it looks like she was having a flashback! Not only that, but it also appears that when Bunzo gave Lily her flute back it seems to have trigger something as well! Aaahhh~" Mommy eyes fell shut as she clasps both hands together in front of her chest, her body slowly swaying from side to side. "Not long after their talk...the two were finally able to play again after all these years. It brought tears to Mommy's eyes to hear them play again after all this time~! So, hope is not lost, perhaps playing with you guys again will triggering something!"

The Huggies began cheering again at the news of their lost friend having a possible chance of remember them again and if they can go back and cause mischief like they once had. However, Vi didn't join the cheering this time. Don't get them wrong they are very happy about this news but...

"Kekegigi?"

Mommy looked to the left where Vi was sitting in his violet tunnel as the others came to a halt and began to look at each other as low chittering can be heard as they communicate with one another.

Mommy tilted her head up at Vi processing what they had just said. To the human ears it sounds like grunts, growls or random noises; however, unlike the human ears the other toys are able to hear what they are asking.

"Kekegigi (What about him?)" Vi repeated.

"Oh, right him." Mommy stated before letting out a sigh looking up at the ceiling "While Mommy is happy to see Lily returning after all this time..." She lowers head down "She also wishes that Lily had stay with that man. It is indeed too dangerous for her to be back. Even though she has Huggy by her side...Mommy doesn't want to take chances." She looks back up to Vi -whom one could say acts like the leader of the group- "I however won't miss this chance to play with her one last time before we send her back. It's only fair that she gets to play with us again before she was forcibly taking away; on top of getting her memories back..."

"Ragake? Kerehire? (What about the others? They won't get their chance if she leaves from here?)"

"..." Mommy's eyes began to fill with sadness as she looks to the side "Mommy is well aware of that...Mommy...*Sigh* I do not know his current where about and I'd rather not keep Lily here longer than she should be. The last thing I want is for him to be aware that she is back. So, I want her...want all of us to play one last game before sending her back home."

"..."

It was silent once again in the room as they all process what Mommy had told them. Vi look down at Mommy and ask one last question.

"Gigigi? (And if he finds about her and takes her?)"

"Take...?"

There was a sudden shift in the air, as all the Huggies let out a low whimper crawling back a bit in their tunnels from the force of murderous rage coming from Mommy Long Legs.

"Take...?" Her body began to twitch "Hahaha...Take...Take her...Hahaha!" Her head snapped up and the Huggies flinches upon seeing the deranged look on her face. Her eyes have completely dilated, her smile taking on a deranged look as her hair now twisted and mangled. "If anyone dares to take Lily from me again, I'll kill them, then eat her myself! This way...This way she'll always be with her mother no matter what and no one can touch her again, Ahahahaha~! Yes, yes...that's a better idea!"

Her eyes scan across each of the Huggies, her smile growing even wider -almost taking over half of her face. "If Lily fails any of the last two games, then all of us will eat her! This way she'll always be part of us even as we play! It'll be like she never left! What do you say, my children?"

They were stun to silence by that declaration before one by one they all open their mouths with a wide open smile showing their sharp jagged teeth. Their eyes also dilated similar to Huggy when he's on the hunt. All of them began giggling before letting out loud laughter with cheers, clapping their hands or banging on their tunnel walls as they all approve of Mommy newer idea.

"Yes, yes, a wonderful idea after all. Oh, but this won't do." Mommy began to crawl up the wall coming face to face with one of the Huggies, as they watch her reach in and removing the rope that kept them from leaving their tunnels. "Why not make this game a bit more of a challenge. After all Lily isn't a child anymore. No, she all grown up, so this should be child's play for her. Yes, why not make this game 'expert mode' as one of the kids once said. Hmhmhm~" One by one each mini Huggy became free from the ropes. "There." Mommy began to crawl back over to the observation room.

She ignored the dry blood leading up to the room along with the broken glass that dug into her hands. She faintly recalls of the man who watch over the orphans that she threw out the window, to interrogate about the where about of Lily before going after that doctor. Follow by dragging his mangle eaten corpse from the Huggies back up the wall to take whatever was left to PJ to feast on.

"Yes...let the game begin. Hmhmhmh~"

When she first met Lily...it was... quite an introduction for first time meetings. One she always looks back on with a smile.

She had just gotten back from another round of testing and to be frank...she was quite bored. I mean honestly the least they could do is give her something to kill time with! If they had done so, then maybe that annoying human wouldn't have his arm torn off in the first place.

"*Sigh*" She let out a heavy sigh of despair as she looks around her empty room. There wasn't much to do other than stare at the walls and count the cracks in the ceiling.

If only something came around and bring some life into her bleak empty world.

THUMP

"Hmm...?"

The sudden noise from above caught her ear, looking up at the ceiling she tilted her head wondering if it was her imagination or she had finally gone mad.

THUMP
THUMP
THUMP

Nope...she's defiantly hearing that.

Before she could stand up and investigate what could be causing the sound, the vent in her room suddenly slammed open and a small purple furry figure fell out landing on the ground face first letting out an 'Oof' sound.

She could only blink in mixture of shock and confusion, wondering what this little furry thing could be. Just as she was about to reach out and see if this creature was still alive, the figure moves slowly getting back up to its feet. When it made eye contact with her it froze in its place; not know what to do she just tilted her head and gave it a smile saying:

"Hello?"

In response the creature yelp falling back on its butt trembling in its place as it made some weird 'chittering' noise coming out of its mouth. She frowned at the noise coming out of its mouth, 'Does it not speak?' she thought getting ready to open her mouth again and try to communicate, however she was cut off by another voice speaking through the vent. A younger female voice, one she doesn't recognize from the other humans.

"Vi!"

When she looked up she saw a small human...no...a child if she recalls correctly poking out from the top of the vent, she was small probably 6-8 years old with long dark hair and bright blue eyes that seem to glow despite how dark it is up there. Surrounding the child were other colorful furry creatures like this 'Vi' sitting before her.

"Are you-" She trailed off when her blue eyes landing on her "Eh?"

She blinks down at her to which she responded back as well with a blink of her own. And just like with small purple creature she tries to communicate with the child as well.

"Hello. Who are you and why are you up there?"

The child slowly blinks her eyes again before moving around examining her before her face began to change color. Which was quite fascinating as she didn't know humans were capable of doing that. Though she was a bit concern as the child was already a bit on the pale side and seeing the color drain on her face couldn't be healthy for her.

Though looking back on this she had forgotten that she still had all those wires and tubes sticking out of her, not to mention the blood splatter that is still on her from ripping that arm off the human. Add on to the fact that it's a bit dark in the room and her voice was raspy from all the screaming she had done minutes ago. She was quiet the sight for a small child to see.

Her reaction was well...well within her rights to freak out.

"Ma-"

She tilted her head "Ma?"

"Mayday! Mayday!" The child yelled "We have to save Vi!" The creatures around her all yelled out an agreement and began to hop out of the vent holding on to each other as if they are acting like a ladder with the child holding on the pink one in the vent.

She can only watch in bewilderment as they all came down with the blue one grabbing hold of 'Vi's' legs and watching as the child began to crawl backwards disappearing from view as the creatures begin to move back up into the vent. Just as 'Vi' reach the top it grabs hold of the vent and slam it shut, the only thing she could hear were the rapid thumping sounds as they all made their way down the vent.

"What."

She is...quite honestly lost on what she just saw.

She was brought out of her thoughts when the door to her room slams open and a young woman with sandy blonde hair stood there panting. She scans around the room before spotting something on the ground in front of her. Looking down she saw some purple fur let was left behind.

"Damnit! I was too late." The woman curse making her to look back up watching as she pulled out a strange device from her belt. "This is Doctor Amanda, Lily and the Huggy Buddies where in experiment 1222 room. They could have gone back down to the water tanks."

She tilted her head when a male voice spoke out of the device.

'Understood Amanda, I'll send Jack and the other down there to try and catch them. *Sigh* Honestly this is the third time this week.'

Amanda sigh slowly closing the door to her room and the last thing she heard from her was:

"What did you expect Adam? She's been like this from day one, it's why we created 1222 in order to rein her in since 1170 just encourages it. She needs a mother figure to help calm her down."

With the door now shut and the sounds of faint footsteps walking away, she could only blink before looking back up to the ceiling.

"Lily...huh..."

"Hahaha, miss me!"

"Damn it, Lily, get back here!"

"Gah?! Sally help, the Huggies are holding me down!"

"Like we aren't having troubles of our own down here!?"

"Why the hell did those stupid scientists think it was a good idea to make eighteen mini Huggies!? OI, GIVE ME BACK MY TASER YOU LITTLE SHIT!?"

"Kekekeke!"

"Waitwaitwait! Don't! *ZAP* GAaAaAaAaHhHhHh!?"

"Ah man down, man down! GAH! *SPLASH*"

"This way above my paygrade!"

"I wonder if I'll see her again..."

Maybe she can spark some life into her dull little world...

Standing at the top of the stairs, Lily let out a deep breath before looking over at the two companions behind her.

"You guys ready?"

Bunzo hopped in place happily cheering out "Re-Ready when...you are!"

Though he can't speak, Huggy grunted giving them a thumbs up as a sign.

Huffing Lily smiled up at them before looking back down the stairs.

"Alright let's go get that next code!"
