The real Halo 4

Chapter 1

This takes place about 3 months after Halo 3 as why would It take four years, and no one would look for Master Chief

March 11, 2553, 700 hours Remnants of Installation 8, stern of UNSC Battle cruiser Forward unto Dawn.

In the Stern of the UNSC Battle cruiser Forward unto Dawn, In the Cryo -sleep chamber and 2.2-meter-tall man with green armor and a gold visor was starting to wake up. He has the number 117 written on his armor. He had been Frozen for 3 months and felt dizzy. He thought, "why am I awake, has the UNSC found us yet?" He yelled, "Cortana open the cryopod." A light Blue AI resembling a woman appeared on the table in front of him and responded, "I can't It's jammed Master Chief You will have to open it manually. "Shit," Master Chief thought to himself as he grabbed the emergency release handle pulled open and then pushed off the pod's lid. He walked out and retrieved the data chip holding Cortana and put it in a slot at the back of his helmet. He felt like cold liquid had flowing through his brain every time he inserted or removed Cortana's AI data chip because it was connected to a neural implant at the base of his skull.

He grabbed and assault rifle and a magnum and checked to see if they were loaded. He shoves each of their magazines in after they were. "Fully Loaded," he thought. He hit the button to open the door and walked through the dark empty corridor. Nothing, there was nothing there. He had just remembered that the stern of the Forward unto Dawn had jumped through slip space while the bow had not. The Arbiter, an elite general and one of Master chief friends made it to earth or even his home planet Sanghelios though he went to earth. Elites, also known as Sangheili were eight feet tall,huminoid reptiles who on average lived for 180 years. They use plasma rifles and energy swords as their main weapons. They used to be part of an alien empire known as the covenant which goal was the commit genocide against the humans. However, after master chief killed one of their hierarchs they were replaced with brutes. Some became the Swords of Sanghelios lead but the arbiter,Thel 'Vadam and joined the humans. Others went rouge at occasionally attacked humans. Some Grunts and Hunters joined the Swords of Sanghelios while others stayed with the covenant.

Master chief kept walking down the corridor until he heard Cortana's voice in his head. "Chief I am picking up 3 humanoid lifeforms approximately 2.2 meters tall and are armed with rifles", Cortana said. Master Chief responded by telling her, "Either Spartans or brutes." He saw three dots on his motion tracker and raised it at the door in front of him. Suddenly he heard a voice on his comms. It was a woman with a British accent. She said, "John, are you there?"

Chapter 2

I've always wondered if noble six a man, or a woman is canonically. Man is default so most likely setting but I made her a woman as the voice is better

March 8, 2553, 1500 hours, UNSC headquarters Sydney Australia

Three Spartan IIs were walking down a corridor in the UNSC headquarters. They stood 2.2 meters tall. One of them was a woman with shaved brown hair, blue eyes and had a tattoo on her left arm though it was covered up buy her uniforms sleeve. Her uniform had the word Kelly-087 on it and she spoke with a British accent. A man stood right next to her. He had brown eyes, black hair, and a beard. His uniform read Frederic-104. There was also a woman with green eyes, short bright red hair, and a scar next to her right eye. Her Uniform had Linda-058 on it. Both Linda and Fred had Amercian accents. Kelly said, "So they think John is alive right?" "Ironic 5 days after his funeral, they think he is Alive" Fred responded, "that's the main objective of the briefing, according to the Arbiter the Forward unto Dawn is orbiting the destroyed Halo ring." They saw Jun a Spartan III that blue team often worked with after John disappeared. He waw bald with tattoos on his head and spoke with an eastern European accent. He was always talking about the fall of Reach where he lost his entire team: Jorge who he died after blowing up onboard a convent super carrier, Kat who she died after being shot buy an Elite field marshal, Carter who crashed his Pelican dropship into a scarab walker, Emile who was stabbed by an Elite Zealot and Noble Six who she died after being shot and stabbed numerous times. He still didn't trust the Elites even after they joined the humans. Blue team was also on reach at the time and lost numerous Spartans themselves.

After being briefed and putting on their armor, all three sets were green as Part of their former leader John green armor. Kelly's helmet had a larger visor while Fred's visor was smaller. Linda also had a smaller visor. Fred finally broke the silence buy saying, "so John is alive apparently and we've been tasked to retrieve him." Kelly responded, "can't wait to get the master chief back but I wonder how the poor bastard is feeling after three months of cryosleep." Linda replied, "He's probably going to have more than a few blisters after going into cryosleep with armor on." They then saw the ship they were taking to retrieve the master chief. It was a condor, a modified pelican dropship with a slipspace drive. They got on and Kelly went to the cockpit and started up the engines. They started to take off and then ascended fast enough to break earth's gravity. They could finally see the continent of Australia with Syndey only a small dot that they were there only minutes ago.

Frederic and Linda and their weapons started to float around. Kelly yelled, "artificial gravity is on now." Both them and their weapons fell to the ground as Kelly yelled, "passing super MAC guns I will jump to slipspace after this." The super MAC guns were defenses of earth during the human convent war. But since the war was over only a few small remains remained. However, the convent did manage to take earth's largest colony and Military stronghold Reach but they attacked with a larger fleet because they did not know Earth was the humans home planet. Fred and Kelly were on the ground trying to protect the MAC guns ground control and Linda was on a space station trying to wipe navigational data of earth and It's remining Coloneys locations. Where she was severely Injured. Kelly then opened the hole for a slipspace jump and entered. Slipspace was another dimension that allowed them to travel faster than light but ripping a hole in spacetime. Kelly Yelled out, "alright it is going to be three days and there is only one cryosleep chamber it is for storing John if he is too badly Injured."

Chapter 3

March 11, 2553, 700 hours Remnants of Installation 8, Condor dropship.

As the condor entered normal space Kelly at the controls barked, "here is the stern of Forward unto Dawn, I am going to enter the landing bay, shutting of artificial gravity." The condors artificially turned gravity off just as they entered the landing bay, so Fred and Linda didn't notice. The condor landed and Kelly and Fred picked up their assault rifles. They both took out their magazines to check if they were loaded. They were full of 16-millimeter armor piercing rounds. They shoved the mags back in and Linda did the same with her sniper rifle. They ran through the ship trying to find Cortana's signal. They took a left through a corridor then turned right. There was a blast door in their way. Linda tried to force it open then yelled, "this door if locked." Fred punched the control panel then crossed the wires together and the door unlocked and opened. They ran down another poorly lit corridor and got on to the elevator. Linda hit the button to go down and they started to descend. Kelly Remarked, "Hold on I'm getting Chiefs signal." She then said into hey comms in her helmet, "John, are you there?"

Master chief recognized the voice in his comms instantly. It was Blue two on his team Kelly. He Instantly Responded, "Kelly are you onboard the ship, are Frederic and Linda with you?" He heard her voice again over the comms, "Yes John we are all here sorry it took 3 months to find you, stay where you are we are coming to you." He readied his assault rifle at the Blast door, and he said, "Cortana open the door." Cortana, "replied of course master chief," as the blast door moved to the sides. He saw three figures slowly move out of the shadows and started to raise his rifle but lowered it and took his finger off the trigger when he saw though the gold visor of his helmet. Three 2.2-meter-tall humans with green armor and gold visors. One of their visors was larger and he recognized her as Kelly. Another with a smaller visor Who he recognized as Fred and a third with magnifiers on her armor who he recognized as Linda. They all stood and saluted him and said, "Master Chief sir great to have you back sir." He returned the salute and responded, "Likewise Spartans." They went down the corridor and took the elevator back up. Master chief saw something he never wanted to see again.

It was a 2.4-meter-tall brute with grey and blue armor and a spiker gun in its right hand. Master Chief silently hand signaled his team and pulled out his combat knife. He slowly crept over to it and punched it in the back. He then shoved his knife into its spine. The brute stopped moving and fell to the ground. Thick purple blood coated the ground as he removed it knife from the body. He then barked over his comm channel, "why are the still Convent here I though we defeated them?" Kelly responded, "remnants lead by a brute named Atriox." They ran back to their condor through the way they came from and saw Outside the Hanger, a Covenant super carrier. They Saw the sides light up and plasma started flying towards them and the floor started to rattle. They Got on the Condor and Linda sat on the control seat and started up the ship. They then left the landing bay and went towards the purple ship with a large bulge and the bow. They then aimed for the landing bay which was unshielded as they launched Seraph fighters towards the condor. Linda fired the chain gun destroying one Seraph. She then fired the missiles destroying another and making it crash into a third. She then turned the ship around and docked in the landing bay. It was full of technical grunts, they started to fire on the ship with their plasma pistols overcharging and firing. Linda fired the chain gun. And their methane tanks exploded as they were shot. John, Fred, and Kelly left the ships door shooting any surviving grunts. Master chief ordered, "Kelly take the control room, Fred sabotage the engines. I'll disable security." The acknowledgement lights turned on as they all ran in different directions. Master Chief saw a group of Jackels with their energy shields on. He squeezed the trigger and aimed for their unshielded hands. He then through a frag grenade in the middle killing most of them. One was still alive though his shield was broken, and Master Chief just shot him in the head. His clip was empty though, so he took it out and shoved a new one back in. He walked onward and Cortana said, "Chief I am marking a nav point on your HUD to the security controls." A red arrow appeared on his head up display so he ran towards it. He saw some grunts and engineers and shot the grunts, but the engineers were harmless, so he let them live. He turned left and saw a locked door. He said, "Cortana Open this door." Cortana said, "wait a minute and done."

The doors slid apart and saw a Jackel with its back turned to him. He grabbed his knife, crept toward it, and plunged his knife into its neck. He removed it and it was coated with thick purple blood. Another Jackel saw him and shot his plasma pistol 3 times, draining the master chief shield from blue to red. He smashed the butt of his rifle into the jackal's head knocking it to the ground. It was still alive and as his shields charged to yellow, he was shot again draining them to red. He put his assault rifle to the jackal's head and pulled the trigger. Blood, brain matter and bone splattered the wall. Master Chief then saw the ships security panel and said, "Cortana, hack this thing and disable it." She responded, "Chief remove me and insert me." He removed the chip and put it in the convent panel. A few seconds later Cortana said, "all done," as he pulled the chip out and put it back in his helmet. He then left and said, "Blue two, blue three have you completed your objective?" Kelly's voice then said, "Negative sir there is a whole lot of them at my position including hunters." After that Fred's voice said, "Negative sir I have the same problem as blue two." He then said, "Blue four is the Condor still under your control we need a ride out of here." Linda said, "Yes sir I am holding off the convent successfully." He then saw Grunts,Jackels,Brutes,Drones and a pair of hunters coming towards him. Every covenant species except Elites who has sided with the Humans after being betrayed along with some of the Grunts and Hunters whiles other stayed with the Convent. He Got behind some cover and tried to shoot the drones out of the air. He managed to hit some as they crashed to the ground. Beige blood with a greenish tint coated the ground. He then threw a frag grenade into the middle of the group. It exploded with a bang and killed many of them. He then pulled out his assault rifle and opened fire. Grunts started to fall to the ground and jackal's shields started to fade. Eventually their shields turned off, and they started to die too. He then shoved another clip in and targeted the brutes. It took more shots as they were larger, but he cleared them all out except for a brute chieftain.

The Brute charged at him with a gravity hammer as he rolled to the side and saw the hammer smash the ground where he had been seconds ago. His assault rifle clicked when he squeezed the trigger. So, he rolled out of the way of another strike and pulled out his sidearm. He shot but it just drained the brute's shields. He rolled between the brute's legs and climbed onto his back and punched the shield generator until it's shields flickered and died.

He put the pistol to the back of its neck underneath its helmet and shot three times. It fell to the ground with him still on its back. He then switched back to his assault rifle and reloaded, then shot at the hunter but hit the metal plates they were holding as shields. He thew his last grenade at one's feet knocking it off its feet it fell onto the ground, and he shot it in Its unarmored neck killing it. The other yelled in fury as it had lost its bonded brother. It charged toward him and swung its shield at him. He rolled to the side and emptied the rest of his bullets into the creature's unarmored side. It still did not side, so he picked up a plasma grenade off the ground and shoved it into the hole in its body. He got back and it exploded spraying orange flesh and orange blood everywhere. He reloaded. He then walked through the corridor then turned right and saw a red dot on his motion tracker. It was in a room to the left of him and he entered. He raised his assault rifle and looked around the poorly lit room. He turned on his lights and saw nothing, still a red dot on his motion Censor.

Suddenly a beam of light smashed into the Master Chief's helmet. It cracked his visor and knocked him to the ground. A brute holding a brute shot came out of the shadows. He said, "My name is Atriox, and I will be the last thing you will ever see, my voice the last the last thing you will ever hear." He threw the brute shot to the ground a grabbed his brute chieftain hammer off his back. Master Chief emptied his entire clip on him but only hit his shields. He swung the hammer, but the master chief dodged and smashed the butt of his rifle into him but only hit his shields. Atroix Hit him in his chest armor with his gravity hammer, draining his shields denting his armor and knocking the breath out of him. Atroix grabbed his Assault Rifle and broke it over his knee. He pulled out his magnum and emptied it, but his shields were far more powerful the any other brute. Atroix Swung his hammer but John dodged it. He swung again and hit him on his left arm. Master chief was in so much pain he couldn't notice that Atriox swung at his legs. Knocking him to the ground. Atroix was about to swing but master Chief grabbed his pistol and emptied it. This time one of the bullets hit his shield generator and another his chest. Master Chief said weakly, "Cortana call the others." Cortana said, "Blue two, blue three get over here master chief is badly Injured fighting atriox." Two acknowledgment lights winked on. He put the magnum back I it's holster and punched Atroix in the face. The Brute spat out purple blood and the Master Chief kicked him in the chest. Atriox then shoved John into the wall and picked up his brute shot. He aimed the weapon at the injured spartan and prepared to fire but Master Chief through his knife made the weapon exploded.

Annoyed Atroix picked up Master Chief and Tried to choke him but then Kelly and Fred Burst through the door and opened fire. Numerous bullets went through him, and He dropped the Master Chief and ran away. Kelly and Fred said at the same time, "John, are you okay?" John responded, "badly injured but thanks for coming back for me." Kelly Swiped her hand over Master Chiefs cracked visor and it shattered, reveling two bright blue eyes. John then Muttered, "Fred, Kelly and you help me up?" They Picked him up a held him up. As they walked back to the Condor, John started gasping for breath. Fred said, "You'll be alright John we need to get back to the ship, I rigged the ships engines to blow in six minutes." They went on a bit further and John said, "I don't know if I can make it in time." Kelly put her hands on the sides of his helmet and investigated his broken visor. Staring into his Blue Eye he said, "John we're going to be okay let's just hurry up." He thought her voice was very soothing. She was also the Only member of blue team with a British accent while all the others were Amercian. A few minutes later they managed to reach the Condor Dropship in the hanger. They saw Linda shooting at some grunts with her sidearm, but it clicked. She thew her pistol then her helmet stabbed the grunt. Her knife and face were covered in Thick light blue blood, but it did not make her short blood red hair and her emerald eyes any less bright. She put her helmet back on a said, "I tried to shoot Atriox, but he escaped on a modified Seraph fighter with a slip space drive. Kelly And Fred Loaded Master Chief onto the Condor and Linda got on the controls. The ship left the hanger and jumped to slipspace as john started to cough up blood. Fred Said, "Kelly Quick help me remove his armor and cloths a put him in the cryosleep pod." Jaw saw his armor getting removed and finally his helmet lifted off his face. They started to take off his Under armor, but he passed out. Kelly And Fred removed Cortana's chip and put him in the Cryosleep pod and hoped he would make it to surgery.

Chapter 4, March 14, 1500, hours, Earth orbital defense station.

I decided to make a Master Chief/Kelly romance.

Frederic has just shaved off his beard and shaved his head. He walked out of his Room and saw Kelly and Linda, "He said Well is John's surgery done?" They both responded, "Yes it has, and he recovered, and we're being transferred to a rehabilitation center in New Zealand." Linda said, "I noticed you have your head and face." Kelly said," Isn't it strange why John can't grow any facial hair, but you and most other male Spartans can?" Fred responded, "It probably had nothing to do with the augmentations he just can't grow facial hair."

Six Hours Later. John saw himself but instead of being 42 like he was currently he was 14. The Spartan IIs started off as child soldiers being kidnapped from their home at age 6 to start training. They were replaced with flash clones quickly made clones they were accelerated to match their original age. They all died within a few days to a few weeks. So, Johns parents though he was dead though they most likely died in 2530 when the covenant glasses his home planet. Ironically, they were all Kidnapped not to fight the convent but human insurrectionists. Even the Spartan IIIs were being planned out. They were also kidnapped as children, but they chose orphans but the covenant instead. The memory he was living through became clearer this when after they graduated the Spartan II program and had gotten their own room instead of collective rooms like the last eight years. John remembered he was on the Spartans base on Reach before the covenant glassed the planet in 2552. He was. He was upset, crying over something he then realized this was the night they first fought the covenant the knight that his best friend since being kidnapped, Sameul had died after being unable to leave an exploding convent ship after a suit breach. He then saw Kelly, his other best friend, enter his room. She was also 14 instead of 42 in this memory. She looked like she had been crying too. She said, "John, I heard you crying I wanted comfort you." John replied, "thanks Kelly." He said, "If you could, would you have given Sam your suit?" She responded, "Yes, would you?" John said, "Yes Kelly without a second though I would've given Sam my suit." she then said, "John I want to tell you something." She did something that surprised him. Kelly then kissed John on his lips. After kissing him she whispered into his ear, "I love you, John." She then kissed him on his cheek. He was shocked for a few seconds but then kissed her back. He the whispered into her ear, "I love you too, Kelly." John kissed Kelly on the cheek. He realized this memory was also the night he fell in love with Kelly. The two started kissing on his bed and then preceded to make out for a while. The two then started to take off their clothes the proceeded to have sex.

After having sex John and Kelly put their clothes back on. John said, "Kelly should we tell Fred and Linda about this?" Kelly replied, "I don't know John." The two started kissing and the made out on his bed. Fred Came into the room saying, "John I found Kelly's door open and yours unlocked I was wondering if she was in here?" He then looked at them and said with a shocked expression on his face, "Oh so sorry, I'll leave now." "Well, they know now," Kelly Remarked. John said, "Kelly, I loved you since I first saw you 8 years ago when we were six." She replied, "me too John but I was too afraid to tell you until now." He looked into her blue eyes, and she looked back into his. She looked remarkably like him with blue eyes and shaved brown hair. "We will not get in trouble for this I promise you Kelly," John said and kissed her on the lips. They went to get their breakfast and sat down with Fred and Linda. The Spartans started to eat, and Fred finally broke the silence and whispered to none of the other Spartans at the other tables could hear, "So are you guys going to explain what I saw in your room this morning." Linda was also there too, from this memory most of the Spartans looked the same but older. All the Spartans had their head shaved during training but were allowed to grow it out to a certain length. Female Spartans were allowed to tie long hair back. Linda had grown her hair out a bit since she still had a buzzcut at age 14. John, "Finally responded, "Guys please don't tell anyone, but I love Kelly, last night she told me she loved me, and we kissed then we had sex." Fred and Linda looked almost degusted at that fact. Linda said, "We promise not to tell anyone." Fred said, "agreed though that was a little gross, no offence."

John then saw the memory fade to nothing. He woke up and looked down at his wrist. He was clearly awake because he had a tattoo of Sam on his wrist, something he got after falling in love with Kelly. He noticed Kelly. She only looked older from 14 to 42 and looked pretty much the same except she also had a tattoo of Sam on her left arm. Spartans aged slower the regular humans once they reached adulthood so even though they were in their 40s they were biologically in their 20s. Kelly walked over to John and kissed him on his lips. He kissed her back and said, "Kelly I was just dreaming about you, the night that we fell in love." She responded, "The best and worst night of my life." John said, "Do you believe in the afterlife?" "No, it is bullshit for children to believe in." John said, "Wel I don't either but I'm glad to have known Sam for eight years, he was my best friend and I fell in love with my other best friend." Kelly said, "Have I told you after Dr Halsey took me to Onyx when I was sedated and sent me to find it out for her research and then made a distress call to Get Fred, Linda, Will and Kurt to come and I gave a sentinel the finger?" John started to laugh and kissed her on the cheek saying, "that's my girl." She then said, "Also, the convent killed Will and Kurt." He stopped laughing and looked sad then angry. Kelly then said, "That Bitch is in prison for what she did to us as Children and Interfering with a spartan op." "So is chief petty officer Mendez for turning us into Child soldiers which is against UNSC law." She then said, "Rember Fhajad one of the Spartans left disabled but his augmentations? Well, he is now the leader of ONI and trying to clear up all the shady shit they did Including the Spartans II and III program. "John started to stroke Kellys thighs and Abs. She started to smile, and she stroked his muscle body. John said, "sorry I missed Christmas." Then he gave her a golden necklace. Kelly said," Thank you John where did you get this?" John said, "stole it from Halsey's office on Reach." She laughed and said, "Sorry I missed Christmas and your birthday. "She gave him a golden framed Photo of John, Her and Sam then gave him a golden watch. "I also stole this from Halsey's office on Reach, "She said. They got undressed and had sex.

Chapter 4, March 15, 600 hours, Spartan Rehabilition center, New Zealand, Earth.

John and Kelly found something strange. There we no one else in the Rehibition center, just the four of them. There were no guards or Military Police anywhere. John and Kelly decided to leave the base as there was no one to stop them. Frederic and Lind decided to stay at the base as they were exhausted from their mission. John asked Kelly, "where on earth are we literally?" Kelly responded, "A secret base in New Zealand because it is close to Syndey, Australia the capital where we will be briefed in six days for our next mission, plus it is one of the few places that is warm at this time of year and only has a few Million people." They walked off the path, into the forest and saw a giant lake, so they decided to go skinny dipping. They swam around the lake and swam to a clearing at the edge. They spotted a kiwi and a kaka. They then saw a flock of Moa. These birds had gone extinct but were cloned. The birds used as livestock on reach were named after them. Another cloned species, a pair of haast eagles flying above them. Kelly said pointing at the eagles, "this is so beautiful John, we call you the eagle as a nickname." John responded, "not as beautiful as you Kelly, the rabbit. Blue team had all named themselves after animals Except Fred. Linda called herself the wolf. Kelly called herself the rabbit because she could run 60knph without her suit on and faster with it on. John was called the eagle was it was the symbol for the UNSC.

John asked Kelly, "so how did you escape Onyx?" She responded, "It took a few days buy a Spartan III named Lucy who was mute and short for a Spartan but managed to convince some engineers with sign language to find us an exit due to the shiel world reponing due to Tartarus activating halo and we sent a rescue transmission." She then added, "She was part of a team of three Spartan IIIs. Lucy and Tom who were both Asian as well as Mark, Olivia who was black and Ash who was white, there were Holly and Dante who was both white and died on Onyx." "But fortunately, we managed to help out in the final days of the war."

They then left the lake and went to the gym. They saw Fred and Linda Already lifting weights that no normal person could lift. They Joined them and Fred said, "How about a game of Grifball after this?" Me and Linda vs you two." John and Kelly both accepted. They lifted weights on machines, dumbbells, and barbells for hours on end. They were specially modified so that the Spartans with their augmentations could lift much more than a regular human even without their armor. The punching bags were also modified. After working out for hours only occasionally taking a break to drink, they decided to find a large open area in the forest outside the base. Kelly was the scout on mission and decided to use her skills while off duty. Three minutes later she came back and said, "I found a large open are but it's real muddy so Fred It's a good thing you shaved off your hair and beard before this." John said, "come on Fred why are you clean shaven I wanted to see a beard, I've never seen you with one before." Fred let out a chuckle.

About 10 minutes after leaving each other they reunited in the muddy clearing. Somehow, they had managed to find a Grifball at the rehabilitation center. After putting the grifball in the center of the field and placing sticks as goals, John and Kelly Lined up at one side. Fred and Linda lined up on the other. All John and Fred were wearing were shorts and Kelly and Linda wore tube tops as well. It was the first of five goals to win. They ran towards each other, and Fred reached for the ball. John tackled him and thew ball towards Kelly who kicked it between the goal posts. They got back to their starting positions and tried again. They ran towards each other, and Kelly was tackled by Fred. John grabbed the ball in the middle and tried to run for the goal post, but Linda tackled him and tried to grab the grifball. John managed to get her off and threw the ball into the goal. The score was now 2-0.

After playing for a bit more the score was 4-4. They two teams ran to try and grab the ball Kelly grabbed it and tried to Throw it to John but slipped into the mud. John and Fred both charged towards the ball. John managed to grab it first and tried to run to the goal. Linda tackled him and threw the ball to Fred who caught it a threw it into John and Kelly's goalpost. Fred Cheered and Linda who was still on top of John kissed him on his lips. Kelly saw it and looked disgusted.

The Spartans were all in the communal showers. They had just put their clothes in the laundry. Fred said, "ha we won against you lovebirds." Kelly responded, "Why must you rub it in, and Linda why did you have to kiss my husband? Linda laughed and spoke, "first how did you two get married and second it was because we won for humiliation." Kelly said, "we got unofficially engaged but not married, still I'm kind of annoyed about your victory kiss.' Linda reponed, "that was a defeat one this is a victory one." Linda then preceded to kiss Fred on the Lips. Fred laughed and said, "Linda, I only see you as a friend." Linda responded, "same, that meant nothing except we are the best at grifball."

Chapter 7

March 16, 830 hours, Spartan Rehabilition center, New Zealand, Earth.

Kelly and John lay down next to each other in bed. John then felt Kelly's lips press up against his. He then moved his hand down her right cheek then her neck, then her shoulder, then her breast and stopped when a reached her thighs. Kellys skin felt cool and soft. She touched his close-cropped hair. She then kissed him on his cheek. John kissed Kelly on her neck. Kelly began to kiss John's scar on his upper forehead. He began to kiss her scar on her back. They heard a knocking on their door and Fred said, "sorry if I am interrupting anything but it's time for your morning workout then our afternoon grifball game." John and Kelly got out of bed then put on their clothes. John asked, "how was sex last night?" Kelly responded, "oh I thought it was surprisingly good. Kelly then stated, "I'm not mad at you just a little bit at Linda for kissing you." John said, "ah it meant nothing she was just trying to annoy you." He then said, "also last night I dreamed about that night again, but it lasted longer." "I then confessed about those embarrassing love poems I wrote you then asked Fred and Linda if any other Spartans loved each other." She laughed the muttered, "how could I forget about those cheesy love poems." They got changed, got out of bed, and went to the gym. While lifting Frederic said, "after grifball how about a game of poker?" John said, "I accept." Kelly and Linda also accepted.

After going to the gym, they went to play more grifball. John, Kelly, Fred, and Linda were on the same team again. Linda said to John, sorry about kissing you yesterday, besides me and Fred are a couple." She then kissed him on the cheek and said, "sorry about that too." John told Kelly about that but left out the kiss on the cheek as he didn't want to make her more upset.

They started to play grifball And Kelly managed to grab it first, but Linda tackled her. Kelly on the ground tossed it to John and he scored. Then after scoring they lined up again and this time Linda grabbed the ball the tossed it to Fred who scored in just a few seconds. This game went on for a while until it was 4-4. This time John ran to the Goal with the grifball but both Fred and Linda tackled him. Kelly then pushed both off as he got the Grifball into the goal. John and Kelly celebrated and said, "good game to Fred and Linda."

They Got in the communal showers and John said to Linda, "I can't believe you and Fred are dating, why did you not tell us, and Fred why did you say yesterday that you and Linda were only friends?" Fred said, "we were too Humiliated to tell you." Kelly asked, "how long has this been going on?" Linda responded, "almost as long as you two." John asked, "Linda why did you kiss me yesterday then?" Linda said, "Humiliation besides like you we're engaged like you two." Fred said, "who's up for a game of poker?"

After getting dressed and playing poker. John put his chips in and said, "I'll call" and put his chips in. Fred, Kelly, and Linda did the same. Kelly said, I'll also call and put all her chips in. John, Fred, and Linda said, "same," then put their chips in. "Alright I have three on a kind," John said. Linda said, "Shit I have a two pair." Kelly said, I got a full house here." Fred finally cheered with a massive smile on his face, "A royal flush bust hand there is." He then threw his arms into the air. John said, "I'm tuning in goodnight, guys." John then kissed Kelly on the mouth and whispered," I love you," Into her ear. Fred did the same with Linda.

Chapter 8

March 21, 1130, hours, Spartan Rehabilition center, New Zealand, Earth.

The are trying to retake Reach from the covenant

John was on a holographic meeting with Lord Hood. He said, "get your team ready in 15 we are retaking Reach from the covenant, meet us in orbit." John said, "yes sir." After ending the video call, he met Kelly and Frederic who were both wearing tank tops and lifting weights. John told Fred then walked over to Kelly. Kelly was listening to rock music through the neural implant in her head she shut it off and said, "sorry John I missed that," John said, "we got a mission get read in 15."

John went into Linda's room, and she was meditating while burning spices and herbs. She did it to relax and started to do it more after being shot and stabbed multiple times on Reach. John said, "hey Linda we have a mission get ready in 15." She opened her eyes and surprisingly didn't speak. Linda rarely ever spoke while she was on missions. She only spoke between them.

In 15 minutes, the Spartans were ready and in uniform and a man with A kiwi accent took them on a Falcon ship to the space elevator. The boarded at then took off to the nearest space Elevator in Auckland, the only one in New Zealand. After flying for a few hours, they reached the Elevator. They boarded and felt it ascending. After about 20 minutes they reached the top and showed some people their identification papers. They saluted after finding out they were Spartans and one man said, "this way sir lord Hood requires your presence on the command deck.

They went to the command deck of the ship the UNSC Trafalgar. It was destroyed during the battle of Reach then rebuilt. Lord Hood was onboard. The Spartans saluted him, and he returned the salute. Lord hood was and Elderly man in his 60s. He was entirely bald. He said, "great to have you back Master Chief, do you understand our objective?" John replied, "Yes sir it is to retake Reach the to take the brutes home planet Doisac from atmosphere as the gravity is too high." Lord hood said, "correct Master Chief get to the cryopods we will be at reach in 3 days. Ships were now allowed to take off directly from earth as the Cole protocol had been abolished after the victory over the Covenant. It was to stop the Covenant from finding the location of Human colonies. It said all ship navigational data must be purged if boarded and to take indirect slip space directions in case you were being followed. The Spartans got the cryopods. They stripped naked and got in. The started to feel tired then passed out after a little bit.

Three days later the cryopods opened. John woke up and saw a woman with a buzzcut spitting out fluid on the floor. His vision quickly corrected and recognized her as Kelly. He said, "Kelly are you alright." She responded, "ah just spitting out his awful fluid that collects in your mouth during cryosleep." He did the same thing. Fred and Linda quickly arose and did the same.

They put their uniforms on and went to the bridge. They saw lord hood and they saluted him. Lord hood said, "Get geared up Spartans and meet the other 12 in the armor bay. John said, "yes sir." Lord hood said, here is your ai Cortana." he handed over the chip. Suddenly a covenant boarding ship appeared on radar and an officer screamed, "we are being boarded." Lord Hood yelled, "fire archer missiles." The officer responded, aye sir." The Spartans felt the ship shake as the missile left their pods. John looked at the radar and saw the missiles hit and destroy numerous boarding craft. One, however, made it through the missiles and crashed into the bridge. Some brutes and Jackels exited and started shooting at the bridge crew. 6 Officer died in the first volley of fire. Some managed to grab guns off the wall. Two Jackels and a brute lay dead. The Spartans tried to get the rifles. John managed to grab a Jackel and quickly ripped its head off. The Spartans walked forward, and John punched a brute in the face. It spat out blood and teeth. It then hit John in the chest. He grabbed a rifle and shot it in the head. The other Spartans grabbed rifles and opened fire on the Brutes and Jackels. Many fell to the ground but some grabbed Lord Hood and held a brute plasma rifle to his head. They then forced Lord Hood inside the ship then started to leave. The Spartans got behind the blast doors and it closed as the atmosphere in the bridge started venting.

John and the others saw Grey team with their rifles raised. They were made up of Adrianna-111 Jai-006 Mike-120 and Naomi-010. Naomi wasn't on grey team last time they checked but John remembered that she was a replacement who switched from team to team when they needed it. They were already in their MJOLNIR armor. Adrianna said, "Come on let's get your armor on." Adrianna had a thick eastern European accent. Most Spartan IIs had American accents except Kelly who was British and Adrianna who was eastern European. Another Spartan II named Jorge was also British, but he joined a group of spartan IIIs named noble team and died with most of them except Jun. Blue team got to the armor fitting stations. It only took two minutes, but they quickly had. their Armour on. John met up with the other spartan teams. Only 16 Spartan IIs were left. One named Maria had been discharged and started a family. Only 15 were still on active duty. Red, Grey, and Green teams got lined up along with Kelly Fred and Linda. They all saluted John, and he Returned it. He began a speech, "Alright Spartans Each team has their objective on Reach. Green team take out anti air defenses, Red, take-out ground defenses Grey, take out air defenses and blue team take out Atriox." The Spartans said, "sir yes sir," and boarded the Pelican dropships.

John went into the cockpit of the pelican dropship. He started it up and put Cortana's chip in. Numerus other pelicans were taking off as well as many Longsword fighters, short sword fighters and Sabre fighters were taking off as well. As John left the bay, he noticed some of the pelicans had Warthog Light armored vehicles and scorpion heavy tanks. The Dropship shot out into space with many others. Kelly, Frederic, and Linda Sat in the back cleaning their weapons. Fred looked at Kelly and Linda then said, "we spent most our lives on Reach it's such a shame we must go when most of it has been glassed." Kelly Replied, "at least 2/3s gone, they didn't glass the whole planet as they wanted to look for forerunner artifacts.' Linda muttered solemnly, "well they can terraform the glassed parts, but it just isn't the same." John saw many covenant ships flying towards him. Cortana said, "Chief look out Banshees." He replied, Cortana Evasive maneuvers. She said, "got it," and turned the ship away from them." One Banshee was still flying towards the so John Pulled the trigger and the Chain gun opened fire. The Chain gun rounds peppered the Banshee and caused it to smoke. It turned away and John switched to the missiles. He squeezed the trigger causing four missiles to smash into the banshee causing it to burst into flames and explode. He saw a Seraph and a Phantom ship ahead, but a longsword successfully destroyed them. He then saw Reach. John was saddened by the sight of it. Most of it was covered in an obsidian looking coating. It was the effects after the covenant glassed the planet.

John and the armada of Dropships cruised through space. After about 15 minutes they entered the atmosphere. They slowly made a descent towards the planet's surface. They saw massive anti-aircraft guns firing at them. One of them managed to get a shot onto a pelican and it crashed onto them. John yelled out, "hold on this is going to be rough." He then said, "we need to take out the shields of the guns in order to get a bombing run." Three Banshees were on their tail and fired the plasma canons at the Pelican. Kelly grabbed a rocket launcher and fired One rocket then another. Both rockets Destroyed One banshee each. The remaining Banshee fired its Fuel rod cannon. Two banshee Bombs crashed into the side of the pelican. Kelly Reloaded the rocket launcher and unloaded both rockets into the Banshee it exploded and crashed into the pelican.

John yelled over comms, "blue team going down." He hit the Eject button. The cockpit blasted open, and he and his seat were ejected. His seat opened a parachute and he slowly drifted towards the ground. Once he hit the ground, he grabbed His Assault Rifle and looked and the pelican. Kelly, Fred, and Linda were still inside and Kelly Yelled out, "fuck it armor lock." The Spartans locked up their armor and saw the pelican crash into the ground. They Escaped from the wreckage and met up with John. They were under attack from a large group of covenant soldiers coming their way. They opened fire and the Grunts were first to drop dead. John chucked a grenade in the middle of the group. The jackal's bodies flew everywhere. One more volley of fire finished off the brutes. Blue Team climbed up a hill full of Jackel snipers. One tried to shoot but they ducked in time. Linda responded by shooting it in the head. They managed to get up to the top. They got to the door, but it was locked. John said, "Cortana open this door." He pulled her chip out of his helmet and felt a cold liquid feeling. He Shoved the chip into the door panel and Cortana Responded, "Done." Master Chief put the chip back in his head. He entered the room and saw Grey team Battling it out with the covenant. Blue team had a volley on fire into the covenant forces. The Covent returned fire. Blue team ducked behind some cover. A brute Chieftain was charging towards them with a massive gravity hammer in hand. Linda shot it in the head, but it only knocked its helmet off. It roared in anger and Linda shot it again in the head this time killing it. Purple blood covered the floor. The Spartans finished off the remaining covenant. John was getting up to help grey team disable the anti-air defenses, but Kelly was already at the panel John yelled, "heads up" and tossed her Cortana's chip. She shoved it in and then a few seconds later pulled it out and gave it back to John. "Thanks," she said.

A few hours later it was dark. Linda went out to find some food. The Marines occasionally ate grunts and Jackels if they got hungry. Linda saw a grunt standing with a plasma Pistol in hand. She investigated the scope of her sniper and squeezed the trigger. The shot killed the grunt and hit its methane tank causing it to explode. She met up with her Spartan III friend Jun who needed some transportation for his mission. So, she invited him to stay in the anti-aircraft control center the Spartan IIs had captured. John sat down around a fire next to Naomi and Mike eating cooked grunt like he was. Taking their helmets off to eat he looked at them. Naomi was a blonde, white woman with grey eyes. Mike was a black man with buzzed hair. Naomi broke the silence buy saying, "John, have you heard that all the Spartan IIs and IIIs are getting discharged in June?" He replied, no I did not know that.' "Has anyone ever told you look like Sam but a woman," John said. Naomi said back, "Thanks." John said, "before Sam died, he told me that he was attracted to you." Naomi looked at him saddened by that fact. She said, "yes, we often made out in secret and even slept together a few times." John said, "I also told him I was attracted to Kelly." Mike said, "does she know?" John said, "she does in fact after we all got discharged, I am going to marry her." Mike said, "well good luck."

Kelly, Fred, Adrianna, and Jai were sitting down next to the fire eating their cooked grunt. Fred said, "Adrianna, Jai what are you going to do after you get discharged." "I don't know," Jai responded. After me and Adrianna were conscripted, we tried to escape. Dr Halsey told us she could let us go but she would give us some serum that would make us forget each other, we stopped trying to escape as I didn't want to forget my best friend." Kelly said, "I love John and want to spend the rest of my life with him, I want to marry Him." Fred said, "same for me with Linda."

Linda and Jun sat next to each other Eating the grunt she shot earlier. Linda said, "what are you doing after getting discharged?" Jun said, "I don't know. Linda responded, "I love Fred and want to spend the rest of my life with him, I want to marry Him." She said, "you love anyone?" Jun replied, "Our new Noble Six, Scarlett." "She was killed on Reach Like the rest of noble team." Linda said, "the only hyper lethal spartan except John. Jun said, "She had short blonde hair, green eyes and a scar on her right cheek." "We had a very short relationship though." He then said, "that bitch Halsey said that Spartan IIIs are expendable and inferior to you IIs. Linda said, "don't buy that bullshit you're as good as a sniper as I am.

Chapter 9

March 22, 0130, hours, Anti-aircraft guns control facility planet Reach.

I never knew she spoke Swedish

Linda Felt the entire room shake. She tried to wake Fred up by saying, "Fred come on wake up." He didn't wake up though, so he started to shake him very lightly. He still wasn't responding so Linda kissed him on the lips. Fred woke up and Linda said, "sorry baby that was a bit unprofessional on a mission." Fred responded, "it's ok but why did you wake me up?" "I felt the entire room shake and I though there could be something.' Frederic picked up his Assault rifle and shoved a magazine in it. He then cocked his pistol. Linda swung her sniper rifle over her shoulder. They put on their helmets and walked out into the darkness. As the Spartans walked Linda asked, "why do you still call John sir even though you outrank him?" Fred said, "respect." The two Spartans saw a ridge and decided to climb up it. After reaching the top they saw a large object in the dark. Linda unswung her sniper rifle and investigated the scope. 300 meters away was a large scarab walker ahead. Grunts were loading supply into it. Linda turned her scope to the right and saw a brute Chieftan ordering his men. Linda decided to shoot it in the head. With a crack her sniper rifle went off. The bullet passed straight though the brutes head as he fell to the ground soaked in thick purple blood.

Linda and Fred ran back to base and awoke the other Spartans. They quickly put on their helmets and loaded their rifles. They ran outside to the Scarab until they were on the ridge again. A brute was looking for the shooter, so John quickly stabbed it in the back. Naomi saw the scarab and cursed in Swedish. John said, "I didn't know you spoke Swedish." She said, "It is my first language English is my second.

The Spartans looked at their resources and saw they only had two rocket launchers and one jetpack. John took out his knife and drew in the dirt. "Okay Kelly is the fastest so she will get one rocket launcher to run around shooting at the legs, and I will jetpack in in and destroy it from the inside got it, the rest of you kill the ground troops and fire at the scarab? All the green Indicator lights blinked on.

The Spartans opened fire killing ground troops and the scarab fired at them. The Spartans were shielded by boulders. Kelly ran out and started firing at the legs. John said over his comb focus on one leg. The green indicator lights blinked on. Kelly shot a leg and the Scarab turned to shoot her. She got out of the way and fired again. After both rocket launchers fired about 5 rockets each the leg was destroyed. John managed to Jetpack in with it not moving. It was full on Grunts, jackals, and brutes so he emptied his rifle clip. After killing all the covenant, he walked over to the power source and tossed a grenade in it. He ran out of the walker and jumped off. It started billowing green smoke and exploded.

Chapter 10

March 22, 0930, hours, Anti-aircraft guns control facility planet Reach.

After Grey team left to take out more anti-aircraft facilities and Jun went by himself, blue team went to meet up with a squad of marines supposed to take them to the main assault on Atriox's base. The met up with the squad and a marine said with an Australian accent, Private Chips Dubbo sir we have orders to take you to the main assault force." John, Kelly, and Fred go into one warthog while Linda got into another one full of marines.

They started and they went through a canyon. A perfect place for an ambush, John thought. John's thoughts were soon proven correct as he heard whizzing of covenant carbines and needle rifles. John put his foot on the accelerator as Fred opened fire on the gun to the Jackel snipers above. He managed to hit some of them, but others were out of range. One shot hit a mongoose with two marines on it blowing it up. One shot hit the Gunner in the warthog Linda was in. Linda quickly moved to the back of the warthog and took the gun. Another shot hit the driver and she got out of the gunner to move to drive. Suddenly a pair of hunters appeared ahead. Fred opened fire on his warthog's gun and Linda bailed out of her warthog. The Hunters fuel rod canon fired and sent John, Kelly and Fred flying out of their warthog. Linda's warthog ended up slamming into one of the hunters spraying orange blood and worms everywhere. The Spartans fired on the remaining hunter, most bullets pinging off its shield and armor but some hitting its unshielded neck. Suddenly a rocket came tearing the creature in two. It was Chips Dubbo holding a smoking rocket launcher with two surviving marines alongside him. He said, "this way sir."

John, after leaving the canyon, saw a massive group of UNSC scorpion tanks, warthogs, pelicans, falcons, hornets, and mongooses. Alongside them were covenant wraiths, ghosts, specters, Revenants

scarabs, phantoms, dropships, banshees, and shadow transports all painted green for the covenant separatists allied with the humans. Blue team and the Three surviving marines descended to meet up with the convoy. There John met an old friend, the ArbiterThel 'Vadam. He was an elite with black armor. He, alongside all the other elites, used to be part of the covenant but after the elites threatened to quit after being replaced as honor guards. But after the prophets ordered the extermination of the elites, they joined the humans. Some grunts and Hunters joined the cause too while others stayed loyal to the covenant. The Arbiter said, "greetings master chief it is a pleasure to see you again." "Like wise Arbiter," John responded. The Arbiter announced, "Sangheili, Unggoy and Mgalekgolo will shall hunt down that slimly bastard Atriox who does the now deceased Prophet's bidding." All his elites/ Sangheili and grunts/ Unggoy cheered. Even the hunters/ Mgalekgolo raise their shields in the air. John entered and scorpion tank and Kelly got into the Gunner seat. Fred and Linda got on the sides. Suddenly Cortana said, "There is a massive covenant attack force coming this way." She then said, "two banshees scouting ahead shoot them down. John fired one shot destroying the banshee colored, they were purple to distinguish friend from foe. A friendly banshee destroyed the enemy one.

The UNSC/ covenant separatist convoy advanced towards the covenant loyalist defenses. The airborne vehicles were first to make contact with each other sending each other out of the sky. Kelly opened fire on the ground troops while John targeted the vehicles. One shot destroyed a ghost and a few seconds later another destroyed a brute chopper and another destroyed a brute prowler. Suddenly a Wraith blast hit the scorpion. Kelly shot the Brute taking control of the turret and John opened fire damaging but not destroying the wraith. He fired again, still not destroying it. It shot back and caused even more damage to the tank. John fired one last time and it exploded in a ball of fire.

John advanced the tank and saw ground troops, so he fired into the middle of them. Bodies went flying everywhere. Kelly with the gun and Fred and Linda on the sides picked off survivors. John saw two hunters standing close to each other and he killed the with one shot. Cortana said in John's speakers, "Chief look out banshees above." Two banshees flew overhead firing guns at the scorpion tank. John shot down one of them but the other fired two banshee bombs with its fuel rod canon. After being shot multiple times, the tank looked like it was going to explode so blue team got off before it did. John opened fire on the hunter with his assault rifle though he quickly ran out of ammo and picked up a shotgun from a dead marine. He emptied it into the hunter it finally fell dead. Cortana said, "the arbiter needs your help." He saw the arbiter with a few elites behind him with plasma rifles shooting at brutes. Blue team decided to help him out. John took his shotgun and quickly killed the brutes. The Arbiter said, "thanks demon." The human and covenant separatist forces ascended a hill. Suddenly a carbine hit deflected harmlessly off an elite's shields. Cortana announced over John's speakers, "Jackel snipers keep your heads down." They were pinned down by mixed combine and needle rifle fire. The hideous Jackels looked like velociraptors without tails, standing upright with clothes. Linda investigated her sniper rifle scope and whispered under her breath, "godspeed you little bastards." She pulled the trigger five times killing a sniper with each shot. She reloaded and shot five more hitting every single time. John could not tell which ones she shot first due to her amazing aim. A brute Chieftan was behind them though with a massive gravity hammer in its hands. Suddenly a massive blue pulse on its back splitting it in half and sent it toppling to the ground. The ground was coated in blood. One of the arbiter's grunts stood behind it with another plasma grenade in its hand.

Chapter 11

March 22, 1730, hours, plateau, planet Reach.

I wonder if the covenant ever used flood as a weapon.

After winning the skirmish at the plateau the Spartans had to move on to kill Atriox. They took two mongooses out to find aritox's base. Orbital surveillance only had an estimate of where it was. After hearing shots, the Spartans stopped investigating. They decided to investigate an underground tunnel. John went in the front and Linda went in the rear. Suddenly the metal door behind them shut. Cortana said, "uh chief I think you're walking into a trap."

Some brutes were using a machine to pump something into a hole in the ground. One said, "are you sure they will not escape, a few managed to survive the explosion at high charity?" Another some said, "positive the door was the only way in or out and it's bolted shut." They laughed and removed the machine and closed the hatch and laser welded it shut.

The Spartans all turned on their helmet's lights. And walked deeper into the tunnel. Suddenly a white circle with tentacles jumped up and Jon shot it with his assault rifle. Kelly asked, "what is that." John said, "flood infection form and covenant must have got it off some that survived the explosion at high charity." Suddenly a bunch more infection formed jumped out and the Spartans shot every one of them.

Linda switched to her pistol after Cortana appeared in her helmet and said, "sniper rifles aren't very good against flood." More Infector forms appeared, and John threw a grenade in the middle of them, making all of them pop. Suddenly two combat forms appeared. They were disfigured humans, elites, and brutes. They were greenish white in color and one of their arms had turned into tentacles. One swung its tentacle at John hitting him in the chest and knocking him over. John fired his assault rifle in it, and it fell on the ground. It got up again and swung at him again. John emptied the clip and stomped on it to make sure it was dead. Cortana said over all four Spartan's speakers. "They sometimes get up after being shot so they make sure they're dead." After a volley of fire finished off the combat forms. Career forms with large bulbous sacks full of infection forms appeared. The Spartans quickly gunned them down and they exploded. They sent infection forms, and they were quickly killed off buy the Spartan's. Master Chief ran to the door and put Cortana in saying, "when I tell you to open this door." She said, "but chief." "don't want to hear it he responded." He said, "what are all the explosives you got I have three Fragmentation Grenades." Kelly responded, "Two Frag and two napalm Grenades." Fred and Linda threw down eight Frag grenades in total. John said, we cannot let the flood escape."

Suddenly all three forms of flood appeared in front of the Spartan's John switched to his shotgun and blasted them away. He saw a combat form getting too close and shot it where its face should have been. Kelly being able to run 120kmph in her armor and 60kmph without it. She ran shooting through flood forms then attached grenades to the walls. After running back with the detonator in her hands she said, "sir ready to go," to John. Fending off the flood for a few more seconds, John yelled out, "Cortana now." Cortana opened the door just as Kelly pushed the detonator. John pulled out Cortana's chip and all the Spartans ran out the door. John quickly shut the door from the outside and shot the control panel a few times. The inside exploded with a bang, spraying shrapnel and napalm onto the few flood forms that were not killed buy the explosion. Even outside the tunnel the Spartans felt hot within their air-conditioned suits. Suddenly the metal door blasted off, hitting Linda knocking her back and onto the ground. Suddenly the ground above it collapsed onto itself.

The Spartans looked shocked over what 11 grenades could do. They ran over to Linda with the door over her body. They lifted the door off her. Her armor was surprisingly undamaged. Cortana said, "her vitals are still online though she is losing blood fast." John lifted off her green and gold helmet to reveal her face covered in blood. Kelly and Fred removed the rest of her armor. She was bleeding in numerous parts of her body. Kelly Grabbed some Biofoam off her armor and sprayed it into her wounds. Linda's armor already sprayed Biofoam onto her most vital wounds, but it had been used up. John saw her bleeding out from her head, but it was underneath her hair. John grabbed the knife and cut off her hair, which was iconically the same color as the blood leaking out of her head.

Chapter 12

March 23, 1200, hours, plateau, planet Reach.

After staying for the night. The Spartans decided to move out. Linda was feeling well enough to walk. John looked into her emerald eyes. He put a hand on her shoulder and said, "you're going to be okay you survived getting shot multiple times remember." All her hair had been cut off and most of her head was covered in bandages so you could not even tell. She moved a lot slower than she used to and might have needed more time to recover. The Spartans heard shouts and ran over to a group of rocks.

There was a large metal object sticking out of the rocks and then John saw a few more. They were ODST pods. They were usually deployed in squads of six, so it made sense there were six of them. However, at arriving at the scene Only three were left standing. One ended up taking a handful of brute spiker spikes to the gut. His body fell to the ground oozing blood. John grabbed a rocket launcher and fired. The rocket blew up in a group of brutes, sending body parts flying. A burst from blue team's assault rifles finished of the remaining ones. Two ODST's survived. They took off their helmets. One was a man and the other a woman. They both had hair that was shaved on the sides and flat on the top. They had tattoos on the side of their heads. Both carried silenced SMGs and silenced magnums.

The Man said, "thank you sir just on time. John said, "let's move out before they come back." The Spartans and ODSTs left the canyon and decided to sit on a rock for a break. The man asked, "so how do you become a Spartan anyways?" John said, "there creating a new program called Spartan IVs where you can sign up to be one." John said, "us IIS weren't so lucky, we were kidnapped as children and replace with flash clones who all died in a few days at the least and a month at most." The Female ODST responded, "Jesus Christ I'm sorry." The male one said, "ODSTs always hated Spartans due to the fancy tech they got now I feel bad for you." Kelly also mentioned, "If we die, we just get Labeled as MIA we don't even get funerals." Fred changed the topic by saying, "What was your Objective?" The man responded, "me and my team dropped down here do Infiltrate Atriox's base and to retrieve lord hood."

"He is still alive," Linda inquired. The Man responded, "seems likely the covenant only takes prisoners for information and food the usually just execute them on the spot." The woman cut in and said, "lord Hood is a high-ranking officer with lots of Information." John responded, "we should probably move out before the bastard Atriox eats him." The Spartans and the two ODSTs moved onward. They encountered a covenant patrol and saw a few Jackels standing watch. The ODSTs shot each one in the head with a silenced SMG. Linda shot the Jackels down the ravine. The Male ODST said, "Hey look there are some jetpacks here." Each spartan and ODST equipped with a jetpack.

Cortana said, "hey look on my sensors I see Atriox's base." John said, "Linda, pass me your sniper rifle." She gave it to him, and he saw a metal structure in the distance. He gave it back and suddenly a covenant banshee appeared in the distance coming towards them. It fired its plasma cannon at the group and fired its fuel rod gun. It swooped past them. Linda managed to get a shot off causing it to crash and explode in the distance. Cortana said, "chief the ODSTs." Both ODSTs were lying on the ground bleeding. John walked over to the Man, and he said, "what's your name?" The man responded, "corporal James Henderson sir." He walked over to the woman and asked her the same question. She responded, "corporal Emma Rossi sir." Fred said, "sorry you never got the chance to become spartan IVs." Both ODSTs stopped breathing shortly after that. They had no pulse. The Spartans buried their bodies, sticking their SMGs in the ground and putting their helmets on top of them.

Chapter 13

March 23, 1500, hours, plateau, planet Reach.

After burying the ODST's the Spartans used Jetpacks to get up the cliff. After getting up they found some Marines,ODST's and the Arbiter's Covenant. Blue team shot at the Turrets defending the base. The turret Blew up a warthog. The Spartans shot at the turret Killing the Grunt inside it. John, Fred, and Linda got inside an empty warthog and drove around destroying the rest of the turrets. After all the turrets were destroyed John left the warthog and met the Arbiter. John said, "Thel 'Vadam is Atriox Inside?" The Arbiter responded, "yes, HE is inside but it has heavy security. John walked over to the door and said, "Cortana do your stuff." He pulled the chip out of his helmet and put it in the door. Cortana said, "all done" and he pulled her chip out. The door slowly opened and both Human and Covenant Separatist forces raised their weapons at the door.

It was empty so the group made Its way in. There were some brutes with their backs turned to them. John signaled Kelly and they stabbed each brute in the back. They stabbed another pair of brutes. They then shot the four remaining brutes. They went in further and Fred said, "surprisingly unguarded." They descended deeper into the base seeing no guards the whole time. Linda said, "feels like a trap." They found the detention center the only prisoner in it, Lord Hood.

John got Cortana to turn off the energy field and Kelly retrieved Lord Hood. He was unconscious but still alive. Over the comms Atriox said, "Ha you have fallen right into my trap." John said, "Damn son of a bitch." Suddenly some forerunner sentinels appeared out of nowhere. They fired their sterilization beams at the mixed human and covenant separatist's forces. John and the Arbiter ducked behind a barrier while John fired with his assault rifle and the arbiter shot his carbine. John asked, "how did he reprogram forerunner drones." The Arbiter said, "Atriox is smarter than most brutes." They shot at the Sentinels causing them to explode and fall to the ground. Soon all the sentinels were destroyed. Suddenly an energy shield appeared between John and the Arbiter. John said, "Cortana can you breach the energy shield." She said, "yes, I can." Suddenly John felt a huge force hit the side of his armor. It drained his shields and knocked him back. John then saw from the other side of the room Atriox and the Arbiter fighting. John unloaded His assault rifle but only drained Atriox's shields.

The Arbiter and Atriox shot at each other. The Arbiter with a Plasma Rifle and Atriox with a Brute shot. They Only managed to hit each other's shields. John threw a grenade at Atriox's feet. It exploded draining his Shields. Atrox's shields were still up but the Arbiter activated his energy sword and swiped at Atriox. It drained his shields off. The Arbiter slashed at Atriox and managed to cut his leg. Purple blood dripped from the wound. Atriox picked his Gravity hammer off his back. The Arbiter became inviable using his shields cloaking technology. He managed to get behind Atriox and slashed his back with his energy sword. His invisibility faded and Atriox hit him in the chest with the gravity hammer. The Arbiter Spat out dark blue blood from his mouth. The Arbiter passed unconscious after that. Atriox went to finish him off when he felt his shields vibrate on his back. John was shooting him with a pistol. Atriox knew his shields would hold and decided to finish off the Arbiter anyways. Suddenly He heard a pop the felt numerous sharp pains in his back. John had stabbed his shield generator and was stabbing his back with a combat knife.

Atriox bellowed in fury and John said to him, "fuck you." Atriox grabber him buy the neck they tried to break John's neck but the force field Broke and Kelly shot Atriox in the back with an Assault rifle. Atriox picked off his gravity hammer off the ground and grabbed her by the neck. John grabbed the energy sword from the unconscious arbiter and slashed at Atriox's neck. Atriox's head fell off his body and his hand released Kelly. John said, "Kelly are you alright." "I'm fine," she responded. Two Elites carried out the unconscious arbiter.

The Mixed forces exited the base. Outside The Spartans met the new head of ONI Fhajad a former Spartan II washout who was confined to a wheelchair after his augmentations failed. There were 12 washouts in total but 9 of them managed to recover. In total 42 Spartans served 28 men and 14 women. He was promoted after the former head, Margaret Parangosky had been arrested for use of child soldiers. He had One last mission for John and Linda but he Let Kelly and Fred see Halsey and Mendez in prison.

Chapter 14

Maximum security prison, earth, location unknown

Kelly sat down in the prison visiting area. She was still in her armor. Behind the glass screen sat Doctor Catherine Halsey. She was a 60-year-old woman with grey hair. Kelly said, "greeting Dr Halsey how are you." She said, "Kelly why are you here." Kelly said, "I wanted to visit you as this is the last time, I will ever talk to you again. Halsey said, "why do you hate me, Kelly." Kelly said, "maybe Kidnapping me as a child and injecting me with steroids along with 74 other children seems to make people dislike you. Also, Fhajad said that he just released the details about the Spartan II and III programs." "Aren't I the closest thing to a mother you ever had?" Kelly responded, "You aren't my fucking mum." You stole me from her and my dad." Halsey said, "I know more about you than you think, I know you and John have been together since you were 14, I know that he will propose to you with my stolen wedding ring my ex-husband gave to me, and I know that you're pregnant." Kelly responded how do you Know I'm pregnant I only found out just before a visited you and went to your empty office and took a test because I was feeling funny." "I Know you also found my alternator and altered your unborn child." 'You wanted a boy, who manly learns to speak from his mother, has blue eyes and brown hair, you wanted a son with a British accent why." Kelly responded, "none of your business." Halsey said, "you changed him just like I changed you you're just like me Kelly." She said, "It's different and legal to change your own child before birth then to pump children full of steroids." Halsey said, "You know I asked to speak with you just to escape?" Halsey took a shiv and stabbed the glass until it broke. She then tried to take off Kelly's helmet. Two guards came in with guns raised.

Fred sat down at the prison visiting area. He was still in his armor. Behind the glass screen sat Franklin Mendez. He Trained the Spartan IIs and IIIs. He was around 60 years old and had greying black hair and a beard. He said, "sorry Frederic." He then kicked out the glass and grabbed his shiv. He tried to stab Fred in the neck with his shiv. He said, "I hate having to do this, I trained you." Fred responded, "fuck you, old man you very strong for a 60-year-old chain smoker. Mendez tried to stab him in the neck, but Fred grabbed at his through and ripped his thought out. Fred Let the Body fall to the ground and two guards stepped in the room.

Dr Halsey had Killed the two guards. And had grabbed one of their guns. She tried to shoot Kelly but grabbed the gun and shot her in both legs. She fell to the ground and put the gun to Halsey's head. Kelly was wondering if she could get revenge on her. She decided to let Halsey live. John and more guards came in John came in and said, "I just got back from my mission what happened?" Kelly responded, "This bitch tried to escape and killed the guards and tried to kill me."

Linda and more guards came where Fred had Killed Mendez. She asked, "I just got back from my mission what happened", Fred responded This old piece of shit tried to break out and kill me.

John and Kelly were in bed together. She touched his chest and said, "was I right in letting Halsey live?" John said, "She'll be released in 2589 unfortunately but she will be like 90 then." Kelly said, "John why do you love me?" John responded, "Because I think your accent is cute and your sexy and you were always by me." When I was 6 before I was kidnapped, I used to be a bit of a jerk, hell I was even a jerk when I first met you, but you made me a kinder person." Kelly said, "John I'm pregnant." John looked surprised. Kelly said, "I was feeling funny, and I went to check in Halsey's abandoned lab." I also used her alternator because I wanted a son. I also wanted him mainly to learn to speak off of me because I wanted him to have a British accent." John said, "Do you remember your mom?" "I remember my Mum" John then asked, "Kelly I'm embarrassed to tell you, but I forgot my last name can I take yours after we get Married. Kelly responded, "Okay John Shaddock, are you British now?" Kelly's home planet had Primarily British colonist while Johns had primarily Americans. He said, "let's have sex now." He took off her shirt and started to kiss her neck, moving down to her breasts and the kissing her stomach whispering, "this one is for you Samuel." Kelly thought It was a good idea to name their unborn son after their dead best Friend who was tattooed on both their wrists. He took his shirt off and did the same to him. They then kissed each other on the mouth, cheeks, foreheads and necks. They then tore off Each other's trousers and underpants and their genitals touched. Kelly said, "look John I'm cumming."

Chapter 14 Planet reach, April 5, 2553

Reach has been terraformed.

Reach had just been terraformed to make it habitable again. Although most of the Spartans weren't from Reach, they didn't wat to return to their home planets. Most of them were glassed and hadn't been terraformed and all the Spartans parents had been killed in the war except for Naomis father who was still alive. Linda's home planet Verent, Kellys home planet Imber, Freds home planet, Ballast

had almost survived the war but did get partly glassed in the end. John's home planet Eridanus II was also glassed. They would like to visit someday, but they needed to be terraformed. John decided to throw a party at his house now that the war was over. All the men wore suits and ties, and all the women wore dresses.

Naomi was the first to arrive. She said, "I have been in the Military since I was 6, how do I look?" The others responded, "you look great." She smiled and said, "thanks." John said, "can me and Naomi talk in private for a sec." Kelly said sure and left with Fred and Linda. The sat down on the sofa and Naomi said, "have you got it?" he responded, "Yes" and held up a vial. Naomi put one hand around his back and another around his neck and kissed John on the lips. John was shocked to say the least, but he decided to put one hand on the back of her head and the other on her thigh and kissed her back. They stopped kissing and she said, "sorry I know you and Kelly are a couple, I was just happy that you gave me Sam's DNA." She said, "I know he's dead, but I loved him and wanted him to be the father." John said, "no Problem besides Me and Kelly are going to name my son after him." She said, "you never told me Kelly was pregnant." "I better use a pregnancy Injector in the bathroom but first I should apologize to Kelly for kissing you." She kissed John on the cheek. And she walked away.

Naomi said, "hey Kelly, John managed to grab some of Sameul's DNA to get me pregnant, but I was so Happy I kissed John, I'm sorry." Kelly responded, "It's okay, I forgive you, John is pretty handsome after all." Linda responded, "I'm also pregnant Me and Fred are going to be parents.

Soon the other former spartan IIs arrived, Adrianna, Jai, Mike, Jerome, Douglas, Alice, Leon, Robert, and August, Randell and even Maria who was discharged long ago. Some of the Former Spartan IIIs came In Jun, Tom and Lucy. Even three of the gamma compony Spartan IIIs who were still in service but got leave came in. Ash, Mark and Olivia. They were only 14. After Oni released information about the Spartans being child soldiers, they couldn't discharge the Gamma IIIs due to them being 14.

John kissed Kelly on the lips and said, "I love you." She responded, "I love you too." Fred and Linda did the same.

Epilogue

. On Dec 14, 2553, Reach's first colonist since being rebuilt, Samuel John and Kelly's son was born.

. On Dec 15, 2553, Reach's second Colonist after being rebuilt, Grace Fred and Linda's daughter was born.

. Jun Became the governor of Reach. He put statues of Noble team and the Spartan IIs in every major city. John and Linda got Jobs Under Him.

. Naomi returned to her home planet Sansar

after it had been terraformed after being glassed. She found her father Staffan Sentzke an insurrectionist, who figured out the truth. Naomi became and Insurrectionist and surprisingly won Independance for Sansar which she became governor. She had a son named Erik

. The Spartan IV program with adult volunteers started up.
