RV: The Monster Within

There are times when one must question, who are the real monsters? Who is wrong? Is it the world? Or is it those who inhabit the world? Two boys will enter a world that was thought to be a myth. Was their entrance a guide by fate or accidental? Only time will tell. (Alternate Retelling of the Story.)

1. Chapter 1

Hey Everyone, This is a story that I've had in my mind for a few months and I finally got the courage this month to write it up and submit it to this website. It's my first story so there's bound to be some errors in the writing or errors in the plot. Please don't hesitate to leave a review, constructive criticism is preferred, especially if it can improve the writing.

I'll stop rambling now.

Chapter 1 Monster School?! Vampires! Succubus! What school did we enrol into?

"Tsukune" a woman called out.

"Yes" A boy responded

The boy who responded was of average height, average weight, had average brown hair and brown eyes. Overall, he is considered to be a picture-perfect ordinary boy.

"Are you ready for school, do you have your things ready, clothes, socks, underwear, books?" She listed out.

"Yes mom, I do, I have everything."

"ok, that's good. Now we just have to wait for him to be ready. I hope he's not having any trouble."

"Mom, I doubt that Takashi would have trouble getting up, he may be tardy but he's not that tardy."

The other person they were waiting for is the other Aono.

Inside the room, there was a boy that was looking at himself in a mirror while trying to tie up his tie, but he was having trouble. Every attempt he did was to no avail; so he gave up.

"Oh well, I'll get auntie to try and do it, or maybe Tsukune." He said.

The boy looked at himself in the mirror, he was just as average as his relative, black hair, average height but just an inch shorter than his relative. The only difference between them was the eyes, his eyes were Heterochromic, the left eye's green while the right eye is yellow.

He looks over himself again.

"O-Ok, I think that I should head down now." He says nervously

Tsukune and his mother were patiently waiting for Takashi to come down. While they were waiting, she serves him tea.

"Here's some tea Tsukune." She hands him the tea.

"Thanks mom." He responds but shakes a bit due to the nervousness.

As they were drinking the tea, they hear a person coming down the stairs.

"Ok, I'm ready" the person says with a hint of nervousness.

"Good morning Takashi" Both Tsukune and Kasumi say smiling.

"G-Good morning auntie, good morning Tsukune." he replies.

Seeing that Takashi was shaking a bit, Kasumi decided to consult him about his new school.

"Takashi, are you nervous about going to this new school?" She asks.

"Y-Y-Yeah, I am."

"You know that you're not going alone to this school, you have Tsukune, who will be with you throughout your school life. Remember it is just school, hopefully you two will be able to make new friends."

"Y-Yeah, Thanks auntie." He replies now brightened up.

He then looks towards Tsukune who is just as nervous as Takashi but tries to maintain composure.

(Tsukune is just as nervous as me, but as long as we're together, I'm happy.) he thought.

Kasumi focuses on Takashi, noticing how badly he is dressed.

"Takashi!" She exclaims

"Y-Yes!" he shouts in response while straightening up.

"Look at yourself, how in the world do you think that you are ready to go to school, dressed like that." She scolds.

Tsukune looks towards Takashi and notices what his mother was talking about. Takashi had his tie hanging off both of his shoulders, his dress shirt was not tucked in and the collar was not properly adjusted.

"w-well, I was kind of hoping you would be able to help me auntie? Ahaha." he tells her sheepishly while rubbing the back of his head.

"*sigh*"

shaking her head, she walks over to Takashi.

"Even when they are growing up, a mother's job is never done. He gets that from you." She says to no one in particular. She starts tucking in his dress shirt, adjusts the collar properly and finally, starts to tie his tie.

"There we go, look how handsome you are."

Takashi looks to the side with an embarrassed expression.

"Okay!" she shouts.

"Now stand over there with Tsukune while I take a picture of you both, as a memory of your first day of high school." She says cheerfully.

"Mom!" "Auntie!" They both say in embarrassment.

"Oh, come on, this is the only time I may be able to get a picture like this. Besides, one day you two will be getting girlfriends and start to move out, *sniff*" She starts to tear up thinking about the day her boys will grow up.

"O-Okay mom, we'll take the picture." Says Tsukune.

"Excellent" She exclaims, snapping out of her trance quickly.

Takashi walks over and stands side by side with Tsukune, they both have their arms over each other's shoulder and smiling.

Kasumi then takes the picture.

*Click*

"There we go, what a great picture that is." She said.

She shows them the picture.

"This will look great when it's framed, I'll make sure to get it done and send it to you two." She says. Kasumi turns her attention to the clock.

"Oh my, look at the time, you two better hurry up if you don't want to miss the bus."

The boys look at the time which shows that it's 8:30.

"The bus comes at 8:45, we have to hurry Tsukune or we'll miss it." Takashi says panicking.

"finish your tea and let's get going." Tsukune tells Takashi who nods in agreement.

*SLURP*

Takashi finishes his tea and grabs his bag while Tsukune grabs his and starts heading to the door.

"Boys, do you have everything?" Kasumi asks.

"Clothes"

"Check"

"Books"

"Check"

"Underwear"

"U-um Check…..I-I think. Let me check."

….

….

….

"CHECK!"

"Did you have to yell." Tsukune says, rubbing his ear.

"Sorry Tsukune." Takashi apologises. "WAIT! I forgot something important!" Takashi says running up to his room.

"What did you forget this time!" Tsukune yells at him.

….

….

(we're going to miss the bus) Tsukune thought with a deadpanned expression.

Takashi comes rushing down with a plushie doll, this doll was none other than blue Totoro carrying the signature bag on its back.

"Seriously?" Tsukune deadpans.

"What? You know I can't sleep without my Totoro. I need him so I can have majestic dreams…andsothemonsterscan'tgetmeinthedark." He says the last part rather quickly.

"You can't take him!" Tsukune yells.

"EHHHHHH!, Why not!" Takashi yells back.

"Because, you just cannot take him to school with us."

"b-b-but Totoro is my friend and my salvation."

"No!" Tsukune tells his younger relative.

He takes Totoro out of Takashi's hands and gives him to his mother. While Takashi tries to get Totoro back, unsuccessfully.

"Mom, can you take Totoro back to his room?" Tsukune asks his mom.

"Yes Tsukune, come along Totoro." She says to the plushie, smiling at the younger Aono's actions in trying to get Totoro back.

Eventually, the boys depart from their home and head off to the bus stop. The two are walking in silence.

"It sure is going to be a while before we return home. I hope mother will be able to manage without us." Tsukune tells his relative, hoping to break the silence.

"Hmph" Takashi responds.

"What?"

"I'm still mad." He says pouting.

"about what?"

"About What?" Takashi repeats with his eyebrow twitching. "You know what I'm mad about. I wanted to take Totoro to school with us, but you didn't want him to come. So how am I going to survive this school without Totoro being there with me." Takashi tells him with anger.

….

….

"That's what your still mad about? You do know that if you took him, then you would be the laughing stock of the school?" Tsukune tells him.

….

"Y-yeah, y-your right." Takashi responds back with slumped shoulders.

The boys continue walking towards the bus stop in silent.

"Say, Tsukune?"

"Yeah, what is it?"

"How did it come to this?"

"come to what?"

"This?"

"You mean how we both somehow failed our high school entrance exams, so now we have to go to a school that is practically in the middle of nowhere, which just happened to be found by my father?" Tsukune rants out.

"yes, that"

"I don't know, I honestly thought that we would be going to a school closer to home, but since we both failed, I guess we had no other choice. I find it mediocre, I never thought that the two of us would end up flunking the high school entrance exams, I just find it a bit odd, but we had no other choice but to enrol in to this Youkai Academy." Tsukune tells his younger relative.

"y-yeah your right." Takashi says.

They both reach the bus stop.

"So now we wait." Tsukune says.

"We wait for the bus to take us to our new school." Takashi says with a bit of nervousness.

"Don't worry Takashi, I'm sure everything will be fine, as long as we have each other, everything will be ok." Tsukune comforts him.

"Y-yeah, as long as we have each other, nothing will go wrong."

The boys wait for the bus as Tsukune continues to try comforting his younger relative, claiming that everything will be alright. In the distance he sees the bus approaching.

"Well Takashi, it looks like the bus is coming."

"Y-yep, the bus that will take us to our new school." Takashi continues being nervous.

The bus then arrives at the stop. The door opens revealing the driver, an ordinary driver with the exception of his eyes, that seem to shine.

"You boys going to Youkai Academy?" The bus driver asks, his voice echoing.

"y-yes!" Both boys shout out with nervousness.

(Holy crap, what is wrong with his eyes, their shiny as hell, is everybody at Youkai academy like this?) Takashi thinks while his spine tingles.

(Scary, his eyes are really intimidating, and his voice is very creepy) Tsukune shivers in nervousness while thinking.

"Then please, come aboard"The bus driver tells them.

Quickly entering the bus, the two boys quickly pick a seat

"Ok, next stop, Youkai Academy." He tells them.

The bus starts up and heads off to the Academy. It enters a tunnel that is rather long. Tsukune is sitting next to a window while leaning on his arm and looking out. Takashi is holding onto his briefcase while telling himself everything is going to be ok. Looking in to the mirror, the bus driver suddenly speaks.

"Since you two boys are heading to Youkai Academy, let me give you a bit of advice"

(Advice?) The two boys think.

"You boys had better prepare yourselves, because once we get out of this loooong tunnel, we'll be right in front of the school.

"Wha!?" Both boys shout out.

He looks back at the two boys.

"Youkai Academy, is a VEEERRRRY SCAAARRRRRY SCHOOL!"

"WHA!" Tsukune shouts out.

Takashi just smiles at what the bus driver just said, but in his mind he is having a freak out.

(Scary School!? Just what have we gotten ourselves into!?) He thinks.

The bus exits out of the tunnel and comes to a slow stop.

"Well boys, we have arrived…...EHEHE….BE CAREFUL"

Tsukune and Takashi exit out of the bus, the bus turns around and leaves through the tunnel that it came from.

Tsukune shouts "WAIT A MINUTE! WHAT IS THIS PLACE!?

*KAW* *KAW* crows call out from a nearby tree.

"I-It can't be, right Tsukune? there's no way that the creepy building over there is Youkai Academy, right, right?" Takashi says in a denying tone. He pointed at a large mansion-like building that was in the distance.

Tsukune looks over to Takashi and notices that he is sweating nervously.

(It's like we entered a different world from before we entered that tunnel) Tsukune thinks

(YOKAI ACADEMY IS A VEEERRRRY SCARRRRRRY SCHOOL)Tsukune remembers what the bus driver said.

Takashi then approaches Tsukune.

"Freakyyyy, seriously freakyyy, this makes me want to go home" he hears Tsukune say.

"Tsukune, it looks like a haunted mansion from top to bottom," Takashi points to the school building. "I think we should go home; this is too much." He starts walking towards the tunnel.

"Wait, Takashi!" Tsukune calls out to him. As he gets to Takashi, both boys hear a scream.

"KYAAAA...OHHH NOOO!" the voice yells out.

!

"UWAAAAHHHHH" both boys scream out, hugging onto each other comically.

*CRASH!*

….

….

….

"Ugh…ow ow ow…..A bike crashed into us?" Tsukune tries to get up, but realises that his hand is touching something soft. His face turns into one of surprise as he notices that his hand was on the thigh of a pink headed girl

(It's a girl!) He mentally screams in happiness.

"…..Owww…..I'm sorry" The girl apologises. "I got dizzy from my anaemia….A….Are you okay?" she asks.

(Whoa!...Sh…She is… CUUUUUUUUUUTTTEEE! THIS IS THE CUTEST GIRL I HAVE EVER SEEN!) he screams mentally in joy.

(It's probably a good thing that we came to this school, if this girl is here, I accidentally touched her thigh) He thinks while getting a nosebleed.

"Ah, Oh no blood" The girl says. She takes out a handkerchief and tries to wipe it off.

(!?) Tsukune is surprised at this.

"Oh my…..the scent of blood…I..I…Can't, I lose control when I smell that scent" She collapses on Tsukunes chest.

(Whaat!? Whats going on here?) He mentally exclaims.

"I…I'm sorry, but…." The girl says, inches away from Tsukunes face.

(But?)

"It's just cause" she bites him on the neck.

*Capu*

"I'm a vampire" She says.

…..

…..

…..

(VAMPIRE!) He starts freaking out.

(GYAAAAAAA! My bloods been sucked! I had my blood sucked!? What does Takashi think of this?) He suddenly ponders.

(!...Takashi! Where is he?)

A few feet away is Takashi with the bike still on top of him and the boy with swirly eyes.

"Takashi!" Tsukune screams out, running towards the downed boy.

The girl notices him screaming another person's name, then looks to see where he's going to. She then realises that her bike is on top of another boy.

"Oh no, I'm sorry." she says, running towards the boy as well.

"Takashi?" Tsukune calls out to him while getting the bike off him.

*Mumble*

"Takashi! Speak to me, say something"

"Ugh" Takashi seems like he is about to awaken.

"What happened? Did I pass out?" He asks to no one in particular.

"Takashi" Tsukune calls out.

"T-Tsukune? What happened?" he asks a bit drowsy

"Well, we sort of got crashed into by a bike" He answers him.

"A bike?"

The girl arrives to Takashi's position.

"I'm sorry, this is my fault, you see I have anemia" She apologises.

(whoa, who's this girl? She's pretty cute.)

"N-no i-it's alright" Takashi says. He looks to Tsukune, "am I bleeding?" He asks.

Tsukune looks at Takashi, he notices that his forehead has a bit of blood coming out. "You're bleeding a bit from your forehead."

"Am I?" Takashi touches his head and feels the blood, he looks at the blood for a bit, then comically freaks out.

"AAAAAHHHH! I'm bleeding! Am I gonna die?"

(I really doubt it) Tsukune deadpans.

The girl then gets closer to Takashi to wipe the blood with her handkerchief.

Takashi blushes at the sudden closeness.

"I'm terribly sorry, I didn't mean to" she says, still apologising.

"N-No, it's not your fault really, you just lost control, that's all, ahaha" he says nervously.

*sniff sniff*

The girl starts sniffing and collapses into Takashi's chest.

"h-hey, are you okay?" He asks, catching the girl.

"I'm sorry, it's just that…."

The girl tried to bite him, but Takashi had quickly gotten up with his face blushing and went behind Tsukune. The girl ended up biting air, this action was noticed by the two boys.

"Tsukune, did you see that, she just tried to bite me, what would've happened if I had let her?"

Tsukune was not listening to Takashi ramble, but instead looked at the girl.

The girl snaps out of her daze.

"I'm so sorry, you see it's because that I'm a vampire that when I smell blood, I lose a bit of my control" She tells them.

"V-V-V-VAMPIRE!?" Takashi yell out.

"YOU MEAN LIKE THE ONES THAT ARE BLOODSUCKING MONSTERS, THAT HATE CROSSES AND GARLIC!?" Tsukune yells, remembering that she sucked his blood.

"Yes, thank you so much for the treat, your blood is really delicious." She says happily, but a bit mad that she couldn't bite the other boy.

"Ahahaha, Vampire, Vampire…" Tsukune looks over to Takashi and witnesses that he is panicking very quietly.

Quickly moving to Takashi's side, Tsukune snaps him out of it.

*SNAP SNAP*

"Hm, what?" Takashi says.

(Thank god, for a minute there I thought he was going to freak out) Tsukune mentally says.

"So…ummm are you two going to Youkai Academy?" the pink head asks shyly.

"Oh….yeah we're going to Youkai." Tsukune answers.

"That's great! Then would you two please be my friend?" The girl asks them happily.

"Sure, we don't mind being your friend" Tsukune replies sheepishly.

"WHA!?" Takashi yells, but both boys were tackled to the ground.

"Oh thank you, I was feeling really lonely since I don't know anyone here!" she tells them excitedly.

After tackling them into a strangely strong hug, she gets off the two boys and introduces herself.

"I'm sorry, I forgot to introduce myself. My names Moka Akashiya."

"Well…Moka, my name is Tsukune Aono."

"a-a-and my name is Takashi Aono, PLEASED TO MEET YOU!" Takashi yells out nervously.

"Takashi, did you have to yell?" Tsukune asks.

"S-Sorry, I just get really nervous meeting new people" Takashi looks away with an embarrassed expression.

"It's nice to meet you both, Tsukune, Takashi." Moka says happily, giggling at Takashi's antics.

After introductions were done, the trio started walking towards the Academy. Happy that she was able to make two new friends Moka decides to ask them a question.

"Ummm, if you don't mind me asking, do you two hate vampires?"

Tsukune and Takashi look at each other with quizzical expressions.

(What do we do? I don't want to hurt Mokas feelings, but I don't know what to say, vampires don't exist, do they? Wait! What if this is just a prank, maybe she's not a real vampire.) Takashi thinks to himself.

He overhears Tsukune answer her question.

"N-No, we don't hate vampires, we actually find them pretty unique, ahahaha" He responds in a panicky tone.

(He actually said that!?) Takashi looks at him with a shocked expression.

"I'm happy that you two think like that. Hey, when the entrance ceremony is over please come talk to me some more, ok." Moka says.

"Y-Yeah, sure." Tsukune says. Takashi just looks at them blankly.

After the entrance ceremony, Tsukune was going to wait for Moka but didn't see the girl. As he was waiting, he saw Takashi leave and immediately followed him. They ended up going to their class.

Takashi and Tsukune sit at the back of the classroom, trying to figure out the events that happened before the start of the ceremony.

(What did she mean when she said she was a vampire? Maybe it's just a thing they say here.) While thinking, Tsukune looks over to Takashi, who is surprisingly calm.

The teacher who has sandy blonde hair that are shaped like cat ears walks in and starts to introduce herself to the class.

"Hello everyone and welcome to Youkai Academy! I am your homeroom teacher Shizuka Nekonome. I think that you already know this but I'll say it anyway…..This is….. A school built for the sake of monsters to attend."

….

….

….

(EEEEEHHHHHHHHHHH!) Tsukune mentally shouts.

(A school that is built for monsters! She can't be saying that, can she?)

Nekonome continues to talk about the school, as Tsukune is in disbelief. His relative on the other hand has started to take down notes.

"Since the earth has come under the control of humans. In order for us monsters to continue to survive, we have no choice but to continue to peacefully co-exist with the humans. This academy will show you how to co-exist with humans!"

Hearing the teacher say that, Tsukune frantically looked around the classroom while mentally questioning if the teacher had her gears functioning correctly. However, Nekonome was not finished.

"So, for that reason, it's a school rule that you will live your lives at this academy in human form!"

While Tsukune continued to listen to the teacher talk about why the students should never reveal their true forms. He glances over to his relative, noticing that he continued to take notes, which made Tsukune faceplant into his desk.

(He's writing down the rules as if it's normal!?)

Before he could even question about it, another student had decided to speak up.

"Hey teacher, would it not be better for us to eat up those puny humans." A thug looking male tells her.

(isn't that a bit extreme?) Tsukune thought while keeping the attention off of him. As well as remembering what the bus driver had told him before dropping them off.

Nekonome decided to respond to the student while looking for his name.

"You're Saizou-kun. Well, here at Youkai Academy, the teachers and students are all monsters. There are no genuine humans here since this academy is within a secret barrier. If a human were to pass through the barrier, we will bring them death."

(…! Is that true? I'll be killed if my true form gets out!?)

Tsukune was not sure what to do, he was frightened that's for sure, but also wondered how in the world did he get into this situation.

-Flashback-

"Tsukune, look at this flyer." Tsukunes' father, Kouji, said.

Taking the flyer.

"What is thi-?" Before Tsukune could question, Kouji had already given his answer.

"YOUKAI PRIVATE ACADEMY! A school where you and Takashi can enrol into. Even though both of you boys failed to get into any high school, you can go to this one."

"Really honey!" A cheerful Kasumi had gone into Koujis arms.

"Our boys don't have to be dropouts anymore?"

"Yes, that's basically what I said." The couple had started to dance around in celebration.

"Wait a minute, just where did you find this flier!?" Tsukune had shouted out.

"I found it from a priest, he had a creepy feeling to it, but was very nice in giving it to me."

Kasumi had gone to the stairway to call the other Aono.

"Takashiiiii! Come down here, we have a surprise for you."

…

…

…

Coming down the stairs, Takashi was muttering at what the surprise could be.

"Maybe it's a new Totoro, *gasp* what if it's the limited-edition white chibi-totoro"

While the younger Aono was daydreaming about his surprise, Tsukune was still in disbelief. How can his father get an application from a priest; and two at that?

"Takashi, we have some news for you…" Kasumi begins. "Because of your uncles' hard work and determination. He has been able to give you and Tsukune the opportunity to attend high school."

One would think that a fifteen-year-old boy would be excited to go to high school. But that is not the case with this household.

"Soooo, I'm not getting a chibi-totoro?"

As those words left his mouth, Tsukune instantly facepalmed. Why in the world would he think that he would get another stuffed toy.

"No, you're not getting a toy. Instead of waiting for you two to repeat the year, you will be able to go experience high-school."

"Wha-, how the heck am I going to a high-school."

Getting close to Kasumi.

"Don't' you remember that we both failed our entrance exams, it's impossible for one if not both of us to get into a high-school."

Tsukune had shown Takashi the flier. As he looked at it, the first word to catch his eye was Youkai.

"You're sending us to a school that has the word Youkai in it, what kind of adults are you! Do you even know what that means, do we even look like Youkai to you?"

"Takashi, it's only a name. There's no way a school for monsters could exist. Stop thinking like a child."

Kasumi had told off Takashi, who responded by claiming he technically still is a child. Tsukune was still suspicious of the entire situation.

"No way, I do not want to go to such a suspicious school."

"Yeah, I agree with Tsukune. I would rather be a dropout than go to a school with the word Youkai in it."

As soon as he said that, Kasumi had suddenly turned into a different person. Her eyes were closed, posture was much straighter and her lips were curled into a small but terrifying smile. As she approached the young boy who would rather be a dropout.

"Takashi…"

Seeing his auntie going towards him like that, all the life that was left in the boy had suddenly disappeared. With each step, he could feel himself getting smaller until he was no bigger than a mouse, with Kasumi's body towering over him.

"Did you just say that you would prefer to be a dropout?"

Despite her face having a smile, her voice sounded terrifying. Tsukune did not try to interfere, knowing the wrath that his mother can give. Kouji however, was getting excited whenever she showed her dominating motherly side.

"I-I-I…" was all the boy could mutter out in fear.

"Did. You. Just. Say. That. You. Would. Rather. Be. A Dropout?"

Knowing that there was no escape, Takashi had to do the one thing that could get him back on her good side.

"Youkai academy, huh, maybe it doesn't sound like a bad school after all…heheheh, ohhh." The last part was said with defeat.

"Hah Hah, I think that God sometimes works in mysterious ways, you know."

(That was our last shot of not going)

Kouji expressed, while Tsukune thought of their situation.

Continuing to not draw any attention to himself, Tsukune had put up a book to cover his face.

(Dad, why the hell did you send us to this horrible school. I got to hurry, if we don't escape from this place right away…)

"Excuse Me!"

Getting out of his thought was a light and cheerful voice.

"After the entrance ceremony, I kinda got lost in the school. Sorry I'm late."

"Oh well that's fine, just take a seat." Nekonome told the late visitor.

The girl had walked past a couple of desks. Which belonged to the boys in the class, each one looked at her with such admiration. The pink flowing hair, clear, soft light skin and beautiful green eyes.

"Woah, who is she?"

"S…Such flowing hair! Big gorgeous eyes!"

"Beautiful! Even if it is just her transformation, there isn't anyone else who could transform into such a beautiful girl…"

"HOT! SHE'S TOO HOT!

"I'M SO HAPPY TO BE IN THE SAME CLASS AS THIS GIRL!"

Many of the boys expressed their opinion of the girl. However, as she walked past the next desk, the boy at that table caught her eye.

"..Mo…Moka?"

Tsukune had muttered out her name, stopping the girl in her tracks.

"Tsukune?"

Before Tsukune could respond.

"Its Tsukuneeeee! I didn't know we were in the same class…" Moka had said cheerfully.

The males of the class had multiple reactions to this interaction. Some had jealousy, others had anger and most had sadness, but there was one emotion that they all had in common, hatred. The boy who wanted to eat humans observed at the interaction.

*RIIIIIIIIIIING*

As the bell rung for the break, Moka had approached Tsukune.

"Tsukune! Let's go explore the school."

Before he could even answer, she had grabbed onto his arm and dragged him out of the classroom. Tsukune caught a glimpse of the classroom and noticed that his relative was not in there.

(where did he go?!) The boy yelled in his mind.

Now walking the halls of the academy, Tsukune could not believe what was happening. Finding out the school was actually for monsters, his encounter with Moka and now said girl is latching onto his arm.

(W-What is this? Is this a dream? It must be…Today has been just like a dream.)

Many of the male students were on the ground, crying their sorrows away. However, Tsukune did not mind, still in a daze as he could not get his head around at the current situation.

(If I can be this happy, I guess monsters aren't that big a deal.)

The two continued to look around the school, Moka was fascinated at every design the school had. From stairs to hallways, even the roof seemed to pique the girls interest, the boy on the other hand, could not focus as he felt the aura of the male population envying him for even being with her. Oh, how Tsukune wished for this time to not end, but life had other ideas for the human.

"Hmm, such a pretty one."

A deep voice called out.

"You are Moka Akashiya, are you not!?"

It belonged to Saizou Komiya, the one who wished to eat humans.

Moka did not answer him, which enraged the boy. Showing off his strength by grabbing Tsukune by the collar and picking him up with one hand.

"By the way, why is a beautiful lady like yourself associating with a guy like this?"

He threw Tsukune to the ground, as bystanders did not dare to interfere.

"It's Saizou! That guy is Saizou Komiya!"

"He seems like he's probably one of those ill-mannered suspicious rogue monsters."

"I heard that he's molested a bunch of human women."

"I heard that he caused many problems out there in the human society and was forced into this academy against his will."

Many of them had heard rumours of the so called bad boy and thought best to not interfere. Saizou did not stop his antagonizing.

"Well, why don't we go out for a bit?" Getting close to the girl, he felt that he would suit her better than the boy she is currently with.

"I'm sorry! But I'm having fun with Tsukune now!" The pink head grabbed Tsukune and started to quickly walk away. Leaving Saizou to rue for the girl.

Moka had taken Tsukune to the roof, the boy was catching his breath while leaning onto the fence.

"That was surprising wasn't it, I got a little scared. Are you okay Tsukune?"

"Uh, yeah, I'm fine."

Standing there in silent, the two did not know what to talk about. Tsukune wanted to know why she is being friendly with him, despite being a mediocre guy. However, once again he was saved as someone else decided to speak.

"Oh Tsukune, here you are."

Turning to the person, he realised that it was his relative.

"T-Takashi!?"

"Huh, Takashi?"

Both Tsukune and Moka said in surprise.

"Yep, that's me, sorry for leaving class like that. I needed to check on someth-"

He was tackled to the ground before he could finish his sentence. The culprit was none other than the vampire.

"I'm so glad I can see you again Takashi!" She said cheerfully.

Tsukune looked blankly at the interaction, while the boy in question was struggling to breathe. For a girl, she had strength much greater than a male.

"Did I hear correctly, you're in the same class as us. That makes me happier." Her hold on him had increased.

"Umm, Moka, I think you're hurting him."

Loosening her hold on him, Moka could see that the boy was struggling. She got off him while apologising.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to do that."

Takashi was gathering his breath after suffering the long hug from the girl. With his face blushing as red as a tomato, he did not even want to look at Moka.

"So, Takashi, what was it you wanted to tell us?" Tsukune had asked.

"Oh, yeah. I needed to tell you about the whole monster thing. I've been doing some research and it turns out that this school is trying prank us students into thinking that this is a school for monsters."

Tsukune facepalmed at this knowledge, there goes his chance of being able to leave discreetly.

"Why would they try to prank us, aren't we already monsters?" Moka tilted her head cutely at Takashi.

"Well Moka, if that's the case then Tsukune and I would need to go since we are hu-"

"HUNGRY!"

Instantly covering Takashi's mouth, Tsukune changed the way the conversation was heading and immediately took him inside while telling her that they will be back. The vampire looked at the door in confusion.

Inside the school Takashi was trying to yell, but the boys mouth was covered by Tsukunes hand. Checking that the coast was clear, he took his hand off the boy's mouth. Which he regretted instantly.

"Why did you interrupt me Tsukune?! I was about to have a conversation with Moka about this school pranking us!"

"I interrupted you because you were about to reveal something so secretive about our appearance, and besides where were you when class ended? You just disappeared."

Takashi was about to respond about how Tsukune decided to change the topic, but didn't bother. Knowing that him disappearing out of nowhere is not something that he would do.

"Well, I decided to walk around the school and see what all the fuss is about. But, you know Tsukune, they actually have a primary school close by."

"Primary School?"

The boy imagined what a school for children would be like, but instantly regretted it as he pictured flying toddlers shooting snot at everyone. The image made him shudder.

"Yeah, they have a primary school. I know because I bumped into a grade schooler when I was on my walkabout. I was observing the school as if I was a "monster" and it was going well. So I decided to get a drink- "

The bell rang for students to tour or "explore" the whereabouts of their high school. When Nekonome was done greeting the students, Takashi had decided to leave the classroom and explore the school himself, a way to get out of his comfort zone. As he walked, he was amazed the school had gone with green and navy-blue colour, but shrugged it off since his own blazer was similar in colour.

(Wow, there are a lot of tall students walking around)

The tall students were mostly his seniors, so he did not dare to approach them. Though what surprised him the most, he could see how nice they were greeting the new female students.

"Hey babe, let me take you around school. I can show you a good time."

He overheard one student offering a tour of the school to a female. However, the female denied the request and went off to look around with her own friends.

"E-Excuse me, but I would like to go around scho-"

The senior did not bother to listen to Takashi. This left the boy surprised as he thought that the senior was offering to show new students around.

(And here I thought he was offering. Guess not.)

Takashi decided not to worry about it and continued looking around. There were many strange things that would look unnormal to an ordinary human. However, Takashi had decided to look from a "monsters" point of view.

(So, if this is a school for "monsters", then I must observe everything as if I were a "monster". That vending machine there looks ordinary to the human eye, but to a monster's eye it looks exactly like a monster!) Takashi pointed to the machine like a detective deducing the clues to a murder.

Said vending machine had the same look as an ordinary vending machine, the only difference was an eye ball next to the payment function, the fang shaped mouth as the collection and bat like wings installed on the back. Students nearby noticed Takashi pointing and were weirded out at this action. Noticing the looks, the boy got embarrassed.

(Everyone's looking at me oddly. I should buy a drink to not get their attention.)

Before he could buy a drink though…

"Hey, are you going to get a drink or stare into that machines eye like a creepy person!?"

Takashi slowly turned around and was about to respond but saw nothing. So, he went back to "staring" at the vending machine.

"Hey hurry up! People are waiting to get a drink."

The voice again called out to him again. Takashi turned around quickly and still saw nothing, which was clearly odd as he is not that tall, until he felt someone poking him.

"Hey, I'm talking to you!"

The voice had sounded that it was coming below him. What was in front of him was the appearance of a small girl. Short brown hair and purple eyes, wearing the traditional girls uniform with the added witch hat, cape and the wand in her hand.

"What's with this sassy… Lost Child?"

The girl heard him mutter and was shocked that he called her sassy. Adding insult to injury, he asked nearby students if they know where the primary school is. She could not take it and used her wand.

"Hey little girl, don't worry, I'm going to take you back to your grade school. So, don't worry abou-"

*WHAM!*

A silver washtub had been summoned and landed on the boy. The child herself walked over him and purchased her drink before going her own way.

"Just so you know, I'm a high school student. So, don't confuse me for a grade schooler." The girl left while sticking out her tongue to the knocked-out boy.

Present

"-and that's basically what happened." the younger Aono had finished talking about his day.

"Takashi, wasn't there something odd about the grade schooler?"

"Well when I came to, she was gone. I guess she wanted a drink from the High School vending machines. Which, to my knowledge is better. They have this drink that looks like blood, but, it is actually apple and blackcurrant juice. Not bad for a prank."

(He still thinks this is a prank.)

The rooftop door opens, revealing Moka. She had gotten tired of waiting and wanted to know what the boys were up to.

"What are you guys talking about?"

"Ahh! Moka! Don't scare us like that. I was asking Takashi what he was up to. Cause he left class early and that got me worried." A frightened Tsukune responded well, regaining his composure.

"Oh ok, I was worried that you two left me. I…mean if you two left, I would feel lonely." She told the two innocently, but this caused the boys to blush.

(I wouldn't leave you alone)

Tsukune pondered. He remembered what he wanted to ask the pink headed girl.

"Ah yeah, Moka. I was wondering why you're so friendly to people like us? Even though were mediocre, worthless guys."

"Hey I'm not mediocre!"

"Don't say that… to me you're not mediocre or worthless or anything like that! Be…Besides…. Were on blood sucking terms." Moka cupped her flushed cheeks as she said the last sentence.

Tsukune fell to the ground, but the pink head continued.

"Be proud of yourself! You have grade A blood Tsukune. It's way better than any of the blood I've drank before from blood transfusion packs! It's full bodied sweetness and mineral balance are all perfect."

"What am I, Food!? Don't look at me like that, Takashi!" The older Aono told off his younger shocked relative.

"Well…Actually you know…Th…That was my first time Tsukune…"

"Huh?"

"Tsukune, what did you do to her?" A brief glance to Takashi, Tsukune hoped that Moka would say something different than what he is thinking of.

"You're the first person whose body I have ever fed from Tsukune. That feeling… I'll never forget it."

(Ohhh! So that is what she meant) Both boys thought.

"Mo…Moka…"

"Oh… I'm so embarrassed"

The vampire said as she playfully pushed Tsukune. She left while wanting to have fun with the boys. However, unknown to her, her push was much more powerful than an ordinary girl. It resulted in Tsukune being pushed into the wall. His impact was softened as Takashi was also affected.

"Let's have some fun! Let's check out the academy!"

"S-So strong…"

"Supernaturally Strong…"

The two boys muttered out loud.

Dragging Tsukune by his arm, Moka was really happy looking at the different sights that Youkai Academy offered.

(This is Happiness! It feels like I'm on a date. This is too good, I feel sort of Giddy…)

"Look Tsukune, this is the dorm that we'll be living in!"

"Huh, dorm?"

What stood in front of them was a building that resembled a haunted ware house. Only with it shaped to look like an apartment complex instead of a single complex. The resident human was snapped out of his romance trance and put into a frightened trance.

(Creeeepy! How did I end up in such a creepy place! I…wonder if I can live in that place for 3 years!?)

"Heyyyyyy! Tsukune!"

Tsukune was snapped out of his trance by an approaching Takashi.

"Did you see the place? It really looks like a haunted warehouse. The special effects, the lightning, the eerie smoke. Everything looks really cool."

"It really is cool, such a building full of dignity and character…"

(Are they even looking at the same building!?)

"Oh, you don't like it Tsukune? Even though you're a monster. Oh, speaking of which, what kind of monster are you both?"

Tsukune looked to Takashi, who did not pay any attention. He was dumbfounded at to what to tell her.

(W-Were human, but…)

"Oh, that's right. We can't reveal our true forms, it's against the school rules. Sorry, I didn't mean to ask that question."

Tsukune laughs awkwardly, while Takashi continues to not listen, but a sudden thought came to mind.

"Ah! By the way Moka, you don't look like a real vampire?"

"Hey, Takashi…"

"S-Sorry…"

"No, it's okay. Right now I look pretty human, but, if I take off this rosary. I become the real thing, an evil and scaaaary vampire."

(Rosary!?)

"Rosaries have the effect of sealing off a vampires power since in my original form I was hated and caused conflict, I put on this rosary and I'd keep my vampire powers sealed."

(Is she serious!? Even though Moka is so cute and gentle… She is still very different from us after all. Is she really not a Human!?)

Tsukune was pondering but disregarded the thought when Moka had gotten close to him.

"Oh, but even if our power is sealed, we do still end up craving blood."

Before Tsukune could even comprehend, the vampire had decided to take a bite on the neck. Around the school, a loud shriek could be heard from the students.

Morning had arrived for the second day of the new school week. Many students were keen for the new day, while few students had already despised the morning. Takashi was one of these students. As the boy woke up, he had forgotten that he was at a new school and that the special effects were very realistic. He was frightened to the point that he didn't even decide to leave until most of the boys left. Once the coast was clear, he got ready quick and left the dorms.

"Geez, I know that this high school is trying to scare us into thinking it's for monsters, but they should warn us when they decide to prank us in the morning. It could give someone a heart attack."

Takashi continued to believe that the school is still going on with the prank. He is the only person who seems to believe that it is some prank as nearby students overhear him muttering to himself.

"What's that kid talking about?"

"He seems to think that everyone is pranking him. Is he alright in the head?"

Not hearing to what his fellow students were saying, Takashi had left the dorms and went to meet up with Tsukune. On his way, he walked upon a large group of students looking at some sort of the commotion. Curiosity got the best of him and he too wanted to look.

"Anyway, don't go near Moka again! If you so much as talk to her again, you're dead."

Tsukune was in shock, the crumbled wall behind him and Saizou threatening him was enough for him to decide that it would be best to leave.

"Woah, they really went out with the material. Oh, Tsukune. What are you doing down there?" Tsukune heard his relative but did not respond as he was still in shock.

"Well anyway, look at the material they used for the wall. Did you see who did it, it looks really cool. I want to do this too, but I think we need permission from the teachers."

Tsukune got up, ignoring that his relative was still going on about the special effects of the school. He realised that the two would not be safe staying.

"Takashi, I think it would be best for us to leave this place."

"Leave, why?"

"I know you don't want to believe it, but this school is a school for monsters. Real monsters!"

"Silly Tsukune. Monsters aren't real. If they were, they would have eaten us by now."

"Takashi this isn't a joke!" Tsukune yelled at him. This was a shock to Takashi, as Tsukune is normally the composed one out of the two.

"This school is for monsters. We are humans. If the monsters find out that we are here, we would be eaten. That is why we need to leave." The older Aono had to explain in detail about the fact that if they stayed, they could possibly end up killed or eaten.

Takashi had a complex expression, he somehow felt that the school was different, but didn't want to believe it.

"Okay…" he said defeatedly. "What should we do?"

The two boys headed back to their dorm to pack up their luggage. While also filling out a withdrawal form to hand in. As soon as they finished, they met up near the graves and began to walk to the bus stop.

However, a certain someone caught up to them.

"Good morning Tsukune, Takashi. If we don't hurry, we'll be late to class." Moka hugged the two but let them go when she saw their expressions.

"What's wrong?" The pink head asked them.

"Sorry Moka. This school is too much for us." Tsukune explained. "It's scary for us to be here. We decided that it would be best if we go to a human school."

"!...A human one?" Moka was shocked hearing this. "No way, you can't go off to a human school. I hate those humans." She declared, which came to a shock to the two boys.

"I went to a human school up through middle school. I was isolated, those humans made fun of me because I believed in monsters. They called me weird and told me that it would be better if I was gone. It was really tough, but you two told me that I was alright even though you know that I'm a vampire. So, this has been the first time in my life that I haven't felt alone." She cheered up after telling them of her dilemma with humans.

The boys looked away from her. Tsukune was the one to speak.

"But…What if I told you the we are those humans that you hate. Would you still stop us?"

"!..."

"Were both human."

…

…

"No…That's not true. Please tell me that it isn't true." Moka looked between the two boys. "Takashi, please tell me?"

Takashi looked away from her, the first friend that they made was shocked about their identity. Him looking away made her realise that its true.

"We don't know how, but we ended up being let into this school. That look on your face says it all. We shouldn't even be here." Tsukune grabbed his luggage and resumed walking to the bus stop, all while knowing how much it hurt him saying that to her.

"Wait, Tsukune I…" Moka tried to reach out to him.

"Let go! You hate humans right!? Oh, and excuse me for being friends with a monster!" Tsukune ran while not looking back.

"Sorry Moka." Takashi too added his words to the conversation and soon left.

…

…

"Tsukune! Takashi!" The vampire called out.

The two boys had reached their destination. The familiar look of the scarecrow with the sign was what made them realise that it was where they were dropped off on arrival.

(This is the first time doing this.)

"Tsukune, are you sure?"

Takashi double checked with Tsukune, who looked back at him with a troubled expression. He did not say anything as the bus arrived and the same driver greeted them.

"Hehe, So, you two are really going back. I somehow had the feeling this would happen. If you have no regrets, come aboard."

Takashi got onto the bus and put his luggage under the seat. He looked out the window and took in the last sight of the school.

"Well Tsukune. I guess this is it, hopefully we don't get in trouble by auntie. I don't even want to think what she would do to us." The boy continued talking.

Tsukune though, was about to step onto the bus, until…

"Tsukuneeee!"

He heard his name faintly called out and looked back at the path they took.

(Moka?)

Immediately he began running to the voice.

The bus driver saw that Tsukune headed back to the academy. He turned off the bus and stepped outside, lighting up his cigar while also taking in the sight. His guest on the other hand was not too thrilled about it.

"hey, aren't you taking us back?"

"Don't you see what happened?"

Takashi looked around, noticing that only the bus driver was the only other person there.

"I feel like there's someone missing.".

…

…

…

"..! Where's Tsukune!?"

"He headed back."

"Without telling me? Oh, now that is really rude."

"You should probably catch up to him. He may be in trouble."

Listening to the bus drivers' words, Takashi immediately ran after Tsukune.

"Well, I do think that these boys will bring some entertainment to the academy."

The bus driver chuckled as he watched the boy head back.

Takashi took a while to catch up to Tsukune. Getting lost along the way, he encountered bats, crows and tombstones, but did not find Tsukune.

*CRASH!*

"GYAAAAA!"

"That must be where Tsukune is."

Following the sound, he came to a field that also had tombstones and some dead trees around. Seeing Tsukune he was glad that he caught up.

"Tsukune, I finally caught up with you. What happe-"

He cut himself off when he saw a body among the tombstones. The body looked exactly like the boy from their class who wanted to eat humans. At this point, he realised that the school is really for monsters. This made him fall to his knees.

Tsukune lifted Moka and went to Takashi. He heard small sobs coming from him.

"We're screwed Tsukune, SCREWED! Its not really a prank, is it?"

Dumfounded that Takashi would think that, Tsukune knew what Takashi was talking about. Though he also knew that his relative is a very dramatic person. But in this case, he knew that their decision to stay may come back to haunt them.

(As long as we stay together, we can get through it) the older Aono thought.

Back with the bus driver, he continued to smoke his cigar and spoke to no one in particular

"What an interesting turn of events. The boys are staying after all. Just remember one thing. This place is awfully scary…"

The next day:

Following the previous day, Tsukune looked at the withdrawal notice. He stared at it for a bit before he heard someone behind him.

"So, we are really doing this? We're staying? Knowing the dangers that await us, we're actually staying?!"

This was none other than Takashi.

Tsukune looked at him for a moment.

"Yeah, we're staying."

"I just hope you know what we're getting into."

He too took out his withdrawal notice and tore it in half. Tsukune was about to do it too…

"Morning!"

A cheerful voice spooked him as he felt arms hug him from behind. Which in turn made him rip the notice in half. The three looked at the notice then back at each other.

(Make no mistake. We both thought long and hard about this. However, I think it's the correct decision.)

"Tsukune… Thanks for yesterday"

Moka looked into Tsukunes eyes, Tsukune looked back into Moka's eyes. Takashi had a suspicion of what was going to happen.

"There's just one thing I want to ask."

"What is it, Moka?"

…

…

…

"Can I suck your blood?"

Hearing this, Tsukune immediately ran, Moka chased after him. Both smiling, knowing that their time will be difficult but will get through it together.

Takashi on the other hand-

"I just want to go home…"

R+V: Monster Within

A few days have gone by since the Saizou attack. The two boys are walking in the hallway. As mentioned, Youkai Academy is a place that exists in a secret dimension from the human world. However, Takashi and Tsukune are the only humans in the entire school.

(If anyone finds out that we are human, we are surely to be killed.) Tsukune thought to himself.

His thought is suddenly interrupted by the commotion coming elsewhere.

"Hey look over there!"

"Woah, who's that!?"

"That's Moka, she's just as stunning as ever!"

"It's like she's surrounded by light wherever she goes."

Many of the male population were in awe at the pink heads appearance. Just being able to see the beauty of her was too much that some boys fell over in awe.

(To think that she has this much power over the male population. It's amazing) Takashi thought to himself as he was at a vending machine.

"Morning Moka." Tsukune called out to her.

The vampire went to Tsukunes side.

"Morning Tsukune." She cheerfully said.

"Whaaaat!?" The boys around the two yelled out.

"Uwaaa! There's a guy with Moka!?"

"Him again? Just what kind of a relationship does he have with Moka!."

Unknown to everyone, there was another gaze on Moka. Though this person only scoffed in anger and walked away.

The boys continued to show their annoyance and anger at Tsukune being so close with Moka.

"Here Tsukune, I got you an orange fizzy drink. I know its early, but I thought you could use it." Takashi handed Tsukune his drink, who opened it and drank from it.

"Oh, morning Moka. Had I known we would've met you I would've gotten one for you too."

"Morning Takashi. That's okay, I'm not that thirsty anyway." She said to him while also getting close to him.

Again, the male population were in aghast.

"Another Guy!?"

"Just how are they getting close to her!?"

"Why can't I get close to Moka!?"

While the male population cursed the boys in jealousy. The trio were heading to class, the boys were enjoying their drinks while the vampire was happily walking with them. Though Tsukune was still feeling the gazes of the males on him.

(It's not my fault that that Takashi and I are friends with Moka. Is fate pulling a prank on us? We accidentally enrolled in a Monster school but…)

Tsukunes thought wandered off to fantasy land. Though the other Aono remembered the conversation he had with Tsukune the night before.

Takashi had gone to Tsukunes room about their situation. Finding out that the school was not pranking them. He immediately was going for the decision to leave as soon as possible.

"Look Tsukune, I know that you want to stay at this school, but we have to look at the facts." Takashi was telling Tsukune as he hit his hands together for emphasis.

"And just what are those facts, Takashi?"

"We, meaning you and me. Are humans in a Monster School! Let me repeat…A monster school! A school made for monsters. Monsters! M! O! N! S-"

"Okay I get it! No need to go over the top!" Tsukune stopped his younger relative. "You need to stop yelling out that we're humans. If one of the neighbors hears you. We're doomed."

Takashi was going to retort but realised that Tsukune was right.

"Well then tell me. Why are we still here? We need to leave ASAP. You know the rules…" Takashi went to get his notepad that he was writing in during class. When he got it, he read it to Tsukune.

"2 eggs…1 ¾ cup milk, 1 tablespoon of vanilla essence, 2 cups of self-raising flour-"

"Takashi that is the recipe for pancakes." Tsukune said deadpanning.

"Oh, right. Hang on." He flipped though the pages. "Okay this is the wrong notepad. All I got is different pancake recipes. I know I wrote the rules in here somewhere."

Tsukune was already used to how "different" his relative is compared to him. He noticed that another notepad was near him and picked it up. Once again deadpanning at his relative.

"Takashi…is this the notepad you wrote the rules in?"

Takashi looked at the notepad Tsukune had in his hand. That's when he realised.

"Ah, I see. This is my pancake notepad."

"I'm not even going to question why you have a pancake notepad." Tsukune told him disappointedly.

Putting his pancake notepad down. Takashi grabbed the notepad from Tsukune and went to the page that had the rules.

"Ahem. If a human were to pass through the barrier, we will bring them death. DEA-!"

"Look Takashi. I understand that us staying here is a big risk."

"I knew you would see it my way. I'm already packed and ready to go!" The boy gave a thumbs up and was headed to the door.

"But what would happen to Moka if we leave? How sad would she be if she finds out that we're no longer at school with her? You saw how she got when we were leaving."

Takashi remembered how the vampire felt when she found out they were leaving. Her sadness was still fresh in his mind.

"That's why we can't leave. We basically owe her-"

"For what!"

Tsukune was going to say something but couldn't think of anything. That's when Takashi knew what was going on.

"Oh. I see Tsukune." A cheeky smile appeared on his face. "You li~iike he~eer."

Tsukune was blushing after Takashi had said that. He tried to respond but it was obvious to his relative. Tsukune does like Moka.

"Still, I don't think that's a good enough reason for us to stay here. After all, it is a monster school."

Takashi emphasised the monster school part. He was still going for them leaving the school, but now knowing that Tsukune is only staying for Moka. He thinks if he'll even leave.

"Tsukune…" Takashi said seriously. "You like this girl, I get it. But we need to really think about it. There are 2 options. If we leave, we live. If we stay, we die, and the monsters eat our corpse. Now I don't know about you, but I like living."

Tsukune thought about it. Leaving with Takashi and not being able to see Moka. Or staying and risking themselves to the dangers of the academy.

Needless to say, Tsukune managed to convince Takashi to stay back in the academy for a few months or until the first break. The younger Aono did not like the condition but remembered that if he returned back. His aunt would tear into him for dropping out.

He looked over to Tsukune who was happy being close to Moka.

(We're staying because of her. As much as I wanted to leave. He managed to convince me to stay.)

He remembered the condition that Tsukune offered.

(Curse my fondness for the Totoro) Takashi quietly comically cried out tears for his favourite plushie.

As the three continued to walk. Moka stopped and turned to the two.

"Tsukune, Takashi." She called the two while smiling at them.

"I think it must be pretty lonely to be the only humans, but, I'll be there for the two of you. If there's anything I can do, just tell me, ok?"

"Moka… why are you doing this for me?"

"Oi, there's two of us…" Takashi deadpanned to Tsukune.

"Why? Because… I…I…"

The two were slowly getting closer to one another.

"Should I use my powers of invisibility to fight crime or for evil?" the other Aono pondered sarcastically.

"Oh no. Whenever I'm with you I just want to suck your blood"

*Capu*

"Yeeeeowwwwy! My blood was sucked again!"

"I'm sorry, it's just because your aroma is so good, I suddenly…" Moka was busy enjoying the feeling of his blood.

(How does he forget that she's a vampire?)

"Your blood is really yummy, Tsukune! I think I'm going to get addicted to you, hehe~"

Moka didn't notice Tsukune having his head down.

"I'm not your food Moka!" The boy comically yelled out as he walked away from the two.

"Tsukune…?" the vampire said cutely confused.

Takashi watched Tsukune walk away and thought he should clear up the confusion.

"*sigh*. Don't worry too much about him Moka. He's just overreacting."

"Its just that when I'm around him. I can't control myself."

"Maybe you should try to look for another source."

Takashi immediately regretted saying that. Due to Moka getting a bit too close to him.

"Takashi~"

The boy stepped back, and the vampire stepped closer to him.

"Wait! Moka!? By another source I mean…maybe…Tomato juice…or…" The boy was blushing the closer she got. When suddenly.

"Waaah!I'm Not your food either!" he took off in a comical sprint.

"Takashi…Wait…"

Moka chased after him

Tsukune walked to an unknown area. He didn't pay attention as he was more focused on the bite mark.

"owowowowowow, if I just didn't have my blood sucked every time we're together. "

He felt the part where Moka had bitten him.

"I didn't think that Moka would be hanging with us to suck my blood. If that's true? What's gonna happen to me?"

Tsukune continued walking around the area but stopped when he had a certain thought.

"If I get mad at Moka and lose her. Then I'll end up without anyone on my side at this freaky school." He panicked.

After having said that...

"oh…ohhh…"

"Hyahhhhh!" The boy shrieked in fear.

"S…Some…one…"

Shaking of the fear. Tsukune looked in the direction of the voice. He saw that it belonged to a girl. The girl was on her knees. She wore the secondary standard uniform which is similar to the normal uniform only the blazer is replaced with a white vest. This girl also had looks that could be on par with the vampire, though she has certain features that may put her above.

"Help me, please… Please lend me a hand…"

She had one hand over her stomach while her other hand was one the ground keeping her up.

"I just started suddenly feeling ill…"

(wh…whoa) Tsukune blushed.

"C-Can you stand up? I can take you to the school infirmary?"

She took the offer. Tsukune was assisting her by holding her close to him and walking at her pace.

"Thank you very much. I've always had a weak body. My chest just started hurting all of a sudden." She moved closer to him. "Hold me closer."

"Wha?"

"My chest feels like it's going to burst!"

The girl began to rub her breasts against Tsukune. Her voice and mannerisms changed to a more flirty and seductive tone. The boy in question had a bit of a nosebleed.

(whooaaaa, her chest really does seem like its about to burst. They're biiiig and soft! Wait, what am I thinking, I'm such an idiot.)

"Hey…"

"!..."

"Look into my eyes…Tsukune"

The boy was out of his thoughts and faced the girl.

"I'm Kurumu Kurono. Please be a good friend to me, Ok?"

Tsukune continued to look into Kurumus eyes.

*Charm*

(Wow…Beautiful…What pretty eyes…Wait…What's wrong with me. Why am I starting to want to hold her tightly?) Following the thought. Tsukune immediately pulled Kurumu closer to him.

"Kyaaaa, What are you doing~!"

(What am I doing!?)

"Tsukune…" Moka called out for him.

She walked around the area looking for him. After Takashi ran away (escaped) from Moka and got to class. She wondered where Tsukune went and was looking for him.

"What? Tsukune…?"

That's when she saw him with another girl. Tsukune had embraced the girl, which enabled the girl to cry out in a seductive tone.

(No…Tsukune?)

"HeHE… Aren't you a popular one… But be careful of women, boy."

"!... Who are you!?"

"HEHEHE, Just your average passerby" Surprisingly the bus driver was around looking for something.

Moka was now in the main hallway of the school. After seeing Tsukune with another girl she wanted to know who she was.

(No, who is that girl? What is she to Tsukune?)

"They really looked like lovers. Totally all over each other like that…What's wrong with me? Why am I taking this as such a shock…? I wonder…"

'I'm not your food Moka!'

"I'm so bad, why is it when I'm with Tsukune I just want to suck his blood? I don't know myself" she said to herself.

"….Hey….stop. This isn't the time to feel down…You are being targeted."

"Huh? Wh-What? Who is it? Where's that voice…"

…

"So, this is where you were Moka. Why so glum?"

Another voice gets the vampires attention.

"Takashi…"

Takashi had approached Moka. Though she noticed something different about him.

"Takashi, why are you wearing a neck brace?"

"Oh this…" He pointed to the neck brace. "I've been having some neck pains recently and the nurse gave me this for support."

The vampire looked at him confusedly.

"You were fine this morning. Did something happen in class?" she asked worriedly.

"N-No. M-My neck just started hurting so I went to the infirmary." The boy quickly lied to the vampire.

(I just don't want to get bitten by her. Hopefully, my lie holds up.)

"Well, if anything had happened, you let me know?" Moka told Takashi while grabbing his hand. Causing the boy to blush in return.

"Trying to seduce another boy, huh?" Another voice spoke.

The two turned their heads looking for the voice. Moka saw the girl from earlier sitting on the stair handrail above them.

"You are a vampire, right? That's at least what the rumours say Moka Akashiya?"

Kurumu proceeded to jump down from the handrail and landed in front of the two. Due to being on the high ground, when she jumped down, her skirt had shown a bit of her panties, earning praise from the male population.

"Wow, what a hottie!"

"Did you see that!? Her panties?!"

"Who is she?! This girl is incredibly cute too!"

"Who knew there was a girl besides Moka like this!?

Kurumu approached Moka.

"I am the succubus Kurumu Kurono…I have come to defeat you." Kurumu said challengingly.

"Wait a minute, isn't it against the school rules to give away your true form…?" Moka responded.

"I can't stand it anymore! You're the biggest eyesore in the way of my great plan!"

"Plan?" Takashi inquired.

"HuHu. Yes, my plan is to make every member of the male student body at this academy completely become my slave. The Youkai Academy Harem Transformation Plan!" Kurumu had pronounced while also sending a seductive wink to Takashi. Causing the boy in the neck brace to blush. Moka had told off the boy for blushing.

"My plan was perfect! I should have had every guy at the academy a slave to my reality right from the start. However!" Kurumu had gotten closer to Moka "Moka Akashiya, the guys at this academy are dreaming about you rather than me! I'm not letting you get away with this, I could never lose in a battle of feminine charm!"

The boys saw that the girls were getting heated.

"Woah, dude. They're arguing"

"You think we could get a fight?"

"I hope so"

(Oh please. Why are all the boys here so desperate. Though I wonder how Moka is going to handle this. This girl sounds serious) Takashi worriedly looked at Moka.

Back with the girls.

"That's why I've decided to prove that I can defeat you, I'll show you I'm better than you by stealing Tsukune Aono from you! After that, I'll come back for the other one!" Kurumu pointed to Takashi. Who tried his best to hide so that he doesn't become her food.

This shocked Moka.

"Wait, stop. They both don't have anything to do with this." Moka tried to persuade her.

"I knew it from the moment we were close earlier…Tsukune has a really good scent just like a human." Kurumu smirked when that got a reaction from Moka. "Is his blood delicious? You're using Tsukune as food Aren't you? I can see it now. When he is taken from you will be a sight to see."

"No… I'm not using him, I'm-"

Moka tried to deny that she's using Tsukune for food. Though even she herself was questioning if that's true.

"Why is there a group here. Whats going on?" A new voice was heard. Appearing from the group was Tsukune. "Moka…There you are." Tsukune saw Moka, but then he looked at Takashi. The boy was signalling Tsukune that danger was coming but his signals were not received.

(Dammit Tsukune. You picked the worse time to appear) A panicking Takashi thought.

"Sorry for running off like that. Um…there's something I wanted to apologize for Moka…"

Before he could continue. Kurumu had Tsukune wrapped in a hug.

"Ohhhhh! It's Tsukune~!"

This angered Moka.

"Thank you so much for earlier Tsukunee~" Kurumu pushed her breasts onto Tsukune, causing the boy's face to flush red.

"Wh-Wh-Why are you here Kurumu…?! Wait, I came to apologize to Moka."

The vampire in question was not having it and she continued to get angrier. Takashi was trying to signal Tsukune to leave ASAP.

(Tsukuneee, come on. This is really bad.) but as always, his signal is not seen.

Moka was trying to contain her anger, but it was seeping out.

"What's with you…You're worried about someone…and yet. You make such a happy face…"

(Waaah, she's pissed. Tsukune. Think of your next words carefully)

Moka calmed herself.

"Tsukune, you're being tricked! Hurry up and get that girl off you. She isn't your friend!"

Kurumu played the damsel card to Tsukune.

"Kyaaa, how awful…How can you say such things? Aah…I'm getting dizzy again…We've got to go to the infirmary."

Kurumu had acted ill again. Tsukune fell for it, as Kurumu managed to get him to look into her eyes.

*Charm*

(It's happening again, when I look into Kurumus eyes I get dizzy and feel weird)

A now hypnotised Tsukune was now holding Kurumu. Though Moka still tried to talk sense into him.

"Please believe me…That girl is dangerous Tsukune! You're going to be eaten by her…"

But her words fell on deaf ears.

"Oh really! Aren't you the one sucking my blood Moka?"

After saying that. Tsukune realised what he said, but was too late to take it back. The succubus smirked when he said that.

"!...Uw-Uwaaaah" Moka ran in tears.

Takashi looked at Tsukune confused, but then he went after Moka. He would be mad at Tsukune, but not even he understands what is going on.

(What just happened!?)

"Moka" Tsukune called out for her.

Tsukune was in the infirmary with Kurumu. After seeing Moka run away there was nothing he could do to get Kurumu off of him. Though seeing that the girl was still putting up a painful face he had to take her to the infirmary. Kurumu was doing a little victory dance on the bed, claiming victory over the vampire.

(I finally Did it. I made that annoying Moka cry. Yahooo!)

The girl continued her victory dance. To the pint that her tail had come a bit out and was wagging in victory with her. Though while the girl was happy, Tsukune was on the seat thinking why he would say those things to Moka.

(I said those mean things to Moka.) he thought to himself sadly.

Seeing this, the succubus knew that all she needed to do was to make Tsukune her slave and her victory will be more better.

"Tsukune.." she called out to him.

When the boy looked to her, his vision was covered by a soft sensation.

"…! What's going on? I just got into an argument with Moka and now this?"

Kurumu continued her seductive move and brought Tsukune in deeper.

"You're sad, Aren't you Tsukune? But don't worry. I'll make it up to you and make you feel better." She smirked.

Takashi was still running to Moka. The reason he was just catching up to her was that the neck brace had sort of limited his vision. So he kept on tripping over.

(Curse this damn neck brace. It was supposed to be for protection from Moka but it's giving me a hard time!)

The vampire was sitting on a doorstep pondering about her friendship with Tsukune. Questioning if she just likes Tsukune being around or only has him around so she can suck his blood. Takashi managed to catch up but tripped when he arrived.

(if that's true, then why is Takashi still around. I haven't sucked his blood yet. But it's only a matter of time before I do.) She thought to herself sadly.

"*pant*, *pant*, *pant*. Look, *pant*, I don't know what's going on! But Tsukune went with that Kurumi or Kuroma or whatever her name is. I know him, to us you're a good friend."

Moka continued to look sad even after Takashi told her of Tsukune. Even Takashi was doubting if Moka was going to recover from the harsh words Tsukune said.

"Look, Moka. I don't know what got into Tsukune. But I know that he wouldn't say those words to you. It's like he's hypnotised or something like that."

(The boy is right. Tsukune is being manipulated)

"wah!"

The rosary of Moka had started swinging to get Mokas attention. The vampire was surprised at this action.

(It's called a charm…It's a work of sorcery which turns the opposite sex into your slave.)

"A voice is coming from the rosary…" Moka voiced out.

"What are you talking about Moka? I don't hear a voice."

"It talked to me. I'm not lying!"

"O-Okay. Whatever you say." Takashi agreed with her, albeit confusedly.

(I am another you…I'm using the rosary as a medium to talk through to you from deep within your psyche. No one else can hear me except you. The succubus is a monster that seduces males. A male who receives a kiss from a succubus is doomed to be her slave for all eternity…). The inner Moka explained to the outer one.

Knowing what she must do. Moka got up.

"Takashi come with me. We need to help Tsukune." The vampire said and took off running.

"We're running again! Come on, it's hard for me to wah-!" the boy fell over trying to keep up with Moka.

(Hurry…At this rate Tsukune will be made into Kurumu's servant!)

Back in the infirmary. Kurumu managed to get Tsukune onto the bed. She was now on top of him and continued to pursue the kiss to seal him as her slave.

"Ku-Kurumu," Tsukune said still under the charm spell. As his thoughts were the only part responding to him. He knew that the situation he's in was not good.

Kurumu on the other hand was a bit nervous about going forward with her plan. She got closer to Tsukunes face and was about to seal the kiss when suddenly.

(I can't!)

Tsukune had moved himself to end up in a hugging position. The succubus was shocked at the sudden movement of Tsukune and tried to continue the kiss. That's when she realised that she was staring at the wall.

"I'm sorry! I can't… There's someone I don't want to betray."

"…!"

Kurumu was shocked. She was so close at making Tsukune her slave and thought that there was no way he could resist the charm.

"Damn you…" she muttered out.

"Huh?"

"Why do you hate me that much? Is she so much better than me." Kurumus voice was sounding irritated. "And I did everything I could for you! Even though some of the things I did were embarrassing!"

Suddenly from her back two bat like wings protruded from her. A shocked Tsukune screamed and mentally questioned the situation. The succubus mentally ranted at how she never lost and claimed if Moka was never there.

"Now I'm pissed!" Her tail had extended, and her wings now had her in the air for she was ready to attack. Tsukune was screaming both in fear and shock.

"I'm going to destroy everyone that has anything to do with her!"

Before she could attack, Moka had appeared and pushed Kurumu out the window. Shocking both Tsukune and Kurumu.

*Crash! *

"We need to leave Tsukune! She is a succubus!" The vampire tried to tell the boy, who was just as confused at the situation. But couldn't as Kurumu had recovered and flew back to the room. She used her tail to grab Tsukunes neck and drag him outside through the window. Moka managed to grab on and the two were dragged outside. At that moment, Takashi had entered the room.

"*pant*. Okay, *pant*, I made it. So, what do we need to d-Wahhh!" Takashi saw that Kurumu had transformed into her monster form. He also saw that the two of his friends were hanging onto the tail and were now outside.

"Oh, come on! I just got here!" He yelled in frustration and left to go outside.

Outside, Kurumu was struggling to fly due to the weight. The two passengers were struggling to keep hold and fell to the ground.

*Thud!*

"Ow-wow" Tsukune voiced.

"Are you okay Tsukune?" The vampire asked.

Tsukune couldn't answer as Kurumu was already hovering over them.

"Perfect. Now I get to kill the two of you together!" She voiced out in anger and revealed her claws, closing in to attack the two.

"Watch out, Tsukune!" Moka grabbed Tsukune out of the attack.

The succubus just missed them. Though the trees that were in her way were sliced into pieces.

"She sliced them like they were made of butter!" a shocked Tsukune said.

"You're not hurt Tsukune. I'm glad." The vampire was concerned but was glad that he wasn't hurt.

"*pant*. Ok. I made it outside. Now to hel-Wah! *Thud*" Takashi now made it outside but fell over again.

"Damn this neck brace. It's supposed to protect my neck but its just made me trip so many times!" He took off the neck brace and threw it in anger.

"Tsukune! Take off the rosary off my chest. It will release my seal." The vampire instructed the boy.

Who tried to take it off, but the rosary did not budge.

"It's not coming off?!"

Kurumu comes back for another strike and barely missed the two again, who dodged it. More trees were sliced in pieces. This freaked out the other boy and was on the verge of passing out from fear. He reached the two.

"Hey! What's going on!? Please tell me you got a plan!?" he yelled panicking.

"The rosary won't budge." Tsukune voiced.

"Hurry Tsukune!" Moka yelled.

"I don't know what's going on, but here." Takashi then took a turn at pulling.

"Its not coming off?!" He let go and saw that Kurumu was going to attack again.

"Ahahahaha, stupid monster, all you have is strength. Looks like those boys are just a burden to you. So give up and die!"

"We're going to die Tsukuneee!" Takashi was shaking Tsukune in fear.

Moka suddenly grabbed the two boys in a hug.

"…!"

"…!"

"At a time like this…I know exactly what to do."

(I want to protect these two. I don't want to lose them! These are my true feelings.)

"These two are my friends! It has nothing to do with wanting blood! If you're going to fight someone. Just fight me!"

"Don't make me laugh!"

Kurumu is closing in. the three are helpless to do anything as long as the rosary is still on.

(No…this is all because I was put under a spell earlier…)

With newfound determination. Tsukune grabbed the rosary.

"I'm not a burden to Moka!"

*chink*

The rosary had come off. Suddenly a bright light had engulfed Moka and had Blinded the three on lookers. A large burst of energy manages to blow the three a bit away.

"What is this? What in the world?" Kurumu was shocked.

The rosary had come off. The seal of Moka was no longer on. Her true form had emerged. The inner Moka. The Vampire.

(Her pink hair is now silver. Is this what happens when that rosary comes off?) Takashi thought in fear after seeing the unsealed Moka.

"I…I made it in time. When I wished with everything, I had it finally came off."

"T-Tsukune, i-i-is th-that M-M-Moka?" A trembling Takashi asked.

"Yes, that's her." Tsukune responded.

That's when he realised that Takashi has never seen the inner Moka before.

With the Vampire vs Succubus fight.

"Hmpf! Don't mess around with me, theres no way I could lose!"

Kurumu had flown enough to do another attack.

"My species is on the verge of dying out. That's why we seek a destined one among all the boys we seduce. That's why we tempt them. We must carefully pick one man from out of many to be our destined one!"

She then proceeds to charge in to attack the vampire.

"But you got in the way of that, Moka Akashiya! I can't let you get away with that no matter what!"

Moka only looks at the succubus.

"So what are you going to do? You can't let me do this so you bear your fangs at the likes of me. Frail, egotistical woman… You need to learn your place."

Kurumu strikes at the vampire, but the vampire had managed to dodge and get behind her. She grabbed her tail and proceeded to pull the succubus and slam her into the ground, creating a small crater from the impact.

*Wham!*

A wounded Kurumu felt the pain of the slam. She backed up against a nearby tree while the Inner Moka approached her menacingly.

"Maybe I should tear of those wings and tail, so you never fly again?"

"N-No…"

Inner Moka kept on walking towards her.

"Calm yourself, that attack was too straightforward. Am I too difficult for you? Though you act like a little devil, you're just a naïve little girl."

Inner Moka stopped a few spaces away from the succubus, but her aura remained threatening.

"So I'll make it so you can never stand up to me again."

The succubus had small tears formed from the threat. She closed her eyes waiting for the inevitable, when suddenly…

"That's enough…

Tsukune had stood between the two. His face was serious. Though one could not properly see as he was shaking. That was due to Takashi also being there, though the boy himself is trembling in fear and hiding behind Tsukune.

"What is this? Move! Was this not the woman who not only tricked you but tried to kill you?"

"This is enough. I don't believe that Kurumu was actually doing this out of purely bad intentions."

"Y-Y-You're s-s-s-s-sure a-a-about t-that T-Tsukune?" The younger Aono was trembling to the point that he would pass out with fear.

"It's just, I can't see Kurumu as being a bad girl at heart." Tsukune smiled.

That comment surprised the succubus.

"Just like how the Moka right now is someone we can depend on."

That comment annoyed the vampire.

"Hmph! Don't misunderstand, I just didn't want your blood to be stolen away from me…I'm definitely different from the other Moka." The inner Moka said while grabbing the rosary from Tsukune and putting back on her choker. She reverted back to the pink haired Moka that was sleeping. Tsukune caught her.

*Wham!*

Tsukune saw that his relative had fallen to the ground with swirly eyes.

"I-I can't take it anymore…This is too much to take in."

Tsukune agreed with him. He was holding up Moka, Takashi had fallen from exhaustion/fear/confusion and a hurt Kurumu could barely get up. All in all, it was a day filled with exhaustion.

To help with the girls, Tsukune managed to get Takashi up to help take the girls to the infirmary. Though the boy was still shaken up about the inner Moka. He still knew that the two sides are very different.

The following day, the trio had recovered and we're now walking to the school building.

"What!? The rosary talked to you?" Tsukune expressed in shock.

"Yeah…This time the voice ended up saving us, but it's strange. Maybe the seal is weakening." Moka explained.

"Well, it was a surprise seeing your other side Moka. To be honest I wasn't sure that you would come back. I know you told us that you other side was powerful. But to think it was that powerful…" the boy went silent.

(that's right, Takashi didn't see her during the saizou fight.)

"Was it that scary Takashi?" Moka asked him. Looking a bit sad.

The boy comically waved his hands in front of him.

"I-It's not that its scary. It was just…surprising."

"Even if it was surprising…" She then faced the two boys. "if it comes to the point where the seal Doesn't work. Would you two still be with me?" She asked the question shyly.

""OF COURSE, WE WILL"" the two boys shouted at the same time.

"Even if you are a little scary…" Tsukune started.

"A lot…" Takashi commented.

"Even if you suck our blood…" Tsukune continued.

"His blood…" Takashi commented.

"To us, Moka is still Moka, so its all right." Tsukune finished, with Takashi nodding in agreement.

The vampire was happy to hear that. She was about to respond to the two, when out of nowhere.

"Good Morning!"

*Thud!*

Both boys fell to the ground in shock.

It was Kurumu. She had happily greeted the trio. Though this scared the boys, Moka was on guard against her.

"Kurumu!" the boys yelled in shock at her presence.

"What now!? Moka asked.

"Tsukune, I baked some cookies. Won't you eat them with me?"

"Huh? Why me?" Tsukune responded. As he and the other boy got up from the ground.

"Ohhhh, remember when I said I was searching for my life's one and only destined one?"

The rest waited in suspense.

"I've decided…that you are 99% my destined one."

"Eh?"

"EHHH?"

"HUUUUH?" Tsukune, Moka and Takashi reacted.

"99%!? What the heck kind of love is that? Where's the 1%?" Takashi reacted in confusion. "One does not simply claim to like someone purely based on percentage."

Kurumu looked at Takashi while sticking her tongue out as an insult.

"you should be lucky that my 1% belongs to you. That's why Tsukune has the majority," She said insultingly then happily.

""Eh? He/I got 1%?!""

"You can't have both boys to yourself!" Moka exclaimed.

Kurumu looked at Moka. Their gazes at one another caused static, signifying their supposed love rivals.

"Besides, I don't want a girl who looks like she's high maintenance," Takashi claimed.

To which the succubus got annoyed. She started arguing with Takashi, but it got stopped when a certain someone tasted the cookies.

*Munch*

"Hey, they're actually not bad."

Hearing this, the succubus got really happy at it and went to embrace Tsukune. Seeing this, Tsukune ran away into the school building.

"Please just hurry up and marry mee!"

"What are you saying Kurumu!? Do something Tsukune!"

Tsukune only ran away from the two.

"Does this mean that our life here will only get complicated?" Takashi thought.

And that concludes the first chapter of this story. As this was a long first chapter, I wanted to see how you readers go about it. If it's too long, I'll see at splitting the chapter into two parts.

Also depending on how motivated I am I might go for another chapter, but seeing as my University life has kept me busy. It will probably be a while.
