Ellwyn walked through the forests of Middle-Earth, following her brother.
He called to her: 'Come on Ellwyn, we still have far to go.'
"I'm coming," Ellwyn said.
She quickly followed her brother. She had a hunch where they were headed. She caught up with her brother.
"We're going to Gandalf, right?"
Aragorn nodded.
'Good. Where do we meet him?' Ellwyn looked at Aragorn with her green eyes.
"The Prancing Pony, Bree," Aragorn replied.
"Okay, that's a bit of a journey."
'No, if we move on well, we will be there within five days.'
"And that's what you call short," Ellwyn muttered.
Aragorn heard it and laughed.
"Five days isn't much, Ellwyn. Come on, we have to move on again.'
Ellwyn grumbled and followed her one-year older brother.
They stopped when night fell and ate a little bread.
Ellwyn felt uneasy, she felt watched, and told her brother, "I don't feel comfortable. As if a shadow is creeping closer to us. I suggest we set a watch."
'You too?' Aragorn asked. "Okay, you go first?"
"Yes," Ellwyn said and sat down on a tree stump.
She saw nothing for the first hour, but then she saw a shadow walking quickly and silently through the woods. Ellwyn stood up to take a closer look at the figure, but something grabbed her sleeve. She turned around in alarm and saw Aragorn. He whispered: 'Shh. We have to leave! Right now!' She nodded, grabbed her coat and they ran off, hunched and silent.
