This story is a work of fiction.
Similarities between characters or events to persons living or dead in your world are purely coincidental.
Only those who have agreed to the above have the privilege of partaking in this time.
"I agree."
…The contract has been sealed.
The world is not as it should be.
It's filled with distortion,
And "ruin" can no longer be avoided.
Those who oppose fate and desire change…
From time to time, they were referred to as Tricksters.
You are the Trickster…
Now is the time to rise against the abyss of distortion.
"Okay, are we ready to do this?" One boy asked the group as they gave him a nod.
"Alright, I'm off then." The blue-haired boy nodded as he ran off.
The scene changes to the outside view that of a casino where lots of people are playing some games and gambling to get some more money, just having some fun only for the alarm sound to go off which causes the people to worry as they wonder what is going on here.
Some security guards came in trying to find the intruder on the ground.
But they are looking at the wrong place when there is a shadowy figure jumping on top of the chandeliers for a moment until he stops revealing himself in the light below him.
The intruder appears to be a boy around 15-16 years old with slightly long, spiky, cerulean hair which sports his signature ahoge. He has large, round eyes with Egyptian-blue irises. He wears a black overcoat decorated with metal cross shaped decoration over the left and right side of the neck, black gloves each with a cross shaped hole and five metal decorations over the knuckles, black office trousers, and black shoes and a belt with a cross mark on the clasp. He also wears a necklace with a blue cross and a red demon-eye decoration. His mask is a red bat mask with the end edge of the wings reaching almost to his chin.
"Hey… Up here!" A random citizen noticed the mask boy.
"He's here. Move in immediately!" One security guard alerted the others.
The blue mask boy smiles as his plan of getting the guard's attention is working and starts moving.
"Good. Now get running!" A boyish voice said in the communication.
"This is our only chance!" A slightly older boy stated.
"Stay calm! You can get away now!" A girl's voice pointed out, almost freaking out.
"We'll retrieve the briefcase on our end." Another girl's voice said sounding calmer and mature.
"…suspects… not… confirmed… hold your… positions…"
"Hmm? What was that?" The first girl's voice wondered about that interception.
"Don't worry about us. Just concentrate on getting away!" The boyish voice said.
"On it." The bluemask boy nodded.
The red bat mask boy started running on the large items hanging on the ceiling to make his escape from the lobby.
"But I have to say, showing yourself above the crowd earlier was an excellent move. Nice work as always, Joker." The boyish voice complimented.
"Thanks, thought it would be the best way to get their attention." The blue mask boy explained.
"I bet Skull wouldn't pull it off that smoothly." The third girl's voice said.
"This happens because you have no sense of aesthetics." The third male voice pointed out.
"Nobody asked you, Inari!" One rough sound boy snapped.
The blu mask boy continues to run until he saw security made their way up and are trying to find a way to him.
"Just run! Get out of there!" The first girl advised.
"Got it!" The red mask boy nodded as he jumps over to the next floor.
"Okay, the enemy's focus is on him. Looks like the rest of us can slip away." The boyish boy noticed.
"Everyone remember where we're meeting up?" The fourth girl's voice asked.
"No worries, I can guide you all." The first girl chuckled.
The blue mask boy made his way to the second-floor balcony only to see two security men showing up at the top of the staircase, and they suddenly transform into weird-looking men with mask.
Another one appeared behind the red mask boy known as Joker, he was a little surprised at first but changed the expression to a confident grin.
"Take 'em down, Joker!"
"Let see what you really are!" Joker jumped onto the guard and ripped off the mask.
Joker jumps off as the guard suddenly transform into what appears to be a bull man monster as it glares down at the boy.
"Comparing power levels… No threat. Get 'em, Joker!" The first girl said excitedly.
"Thanks, Oracle." Joker nodded and touch his mask.
"Help me clear this monster away, my Persona… Derkila!" Joker pulled off his mask and a phantom-like figure appear behind him.
The one known as Derkila is an extremely tall demon, taller than the tallest man possible, with fair skin, waist-length purple hair with a small section tied into a round bun, and several strands covering the upper part of her face. It has pointed ears, dark claws, and white horns that curve sharply upwards. He wears a tight purple sleeveless top, separate long sleeves of the same color with gold trim at both ends, long white pants, a gold belt, and purple casual sneakers. He also has some accessories; he wears a red leather accessory with a hello on it, a gold necklace with an engraved symbol, several rings, and a gold anklet.
"It would seem this one dare to stand in your way." Derkila smirked.
"He won't be standing for long." Joker smirked.
Joker command his Persona to unleash a curse spell called Eigaon which done some serious damage to the bull monster and Joker jumps high to slash down at the monster, the bull monster tries to fight back with a fire spell only for Joker to dodge and have his Persona to attack with the curse easily ending the monster.
"Okay, pull out before their backup gets here." The first girl Oracle advised.
"Right, can't stay for too long." Joker nodded.
"Good. You defeated them with ease!" The boyish voice impressed.
"More of them! Be careful!" Oracle alerted.
Three more of those weird guards popped out and tries to attack Joker, but he easily dodges them and jumps to the higher floor.
"Joker, behind you! Go through that door!" Oracle informed.
"Got it!" Joker nodded and hurried into the path leading him into the backstage system.
"You should be able to get out that way! Hurry!" Oracle said.
"Dude, can he even hear us?!" The fourth boy, named Skull, asked worry.
"Don't worry, I'm picking up everyone's voices. Just go, Joker!" Oracle yelled.
"No need to tell me twice." Joker was about to run, but heard Oracle speak again.
"Huh, wait a sec. What the- I'm getting a weird reading heading your way! C'mon, run!" Oracle alerted.
Joker ran through the first door of the area and ran down the stairs getting out of the casino as fast as he can.
"Tch! We got away from a bunch of those guys in black, but they're still loads of 'em…" Skull said.
"(Yeah, it's almost strange.)" Joker thought.
But when Joker entered through another path, he spotted an agent in another hallway from the other side of a window.
"I can't confirm the intruder's location." The agent said before running again.
Joker thinks security is swarming around too much and needs to get out of here quick.
"Wait, up ahead." Oracle said.
Joker stop and his eyes widen of seeing an agent standing in front of the staircase he needs to go.
"This is bad! Hide, Joker!" Oracle exclaimed.
Joker did so by hiding behind laundry cart.
"You'll never get away if you just keep fighting." Oracle pointed out which Joker agrees.
"Hide in the shadows, and sneak past when you see an opening!" Oracle said.
Joker nods and looks over to see two more hiding spots that lead right to the staircase path, and he quickly zooms there, then the agent talks.
"…Hey, are you sure he came in this way?" The agent asked.
"Understood, I will continue the search!" The agent nodded and ran off, leaving the opening for Joker to take.
"Now's your chance! Make a run for it!" Oracle said.
Joker didn't waste any time as he ran up the stairs and into another path only to stop when seeing another guard there.
"Ugh! How many of them are there?!" Oracle complained as Joker quickly hides.
"Everything okay? The security level might rise if you take too much time." The second male voice pointed out.
"I know, I know! I'm looking for another route. Just hang on." Oracle said.
"Hey, what about that catwalk?" Joker asked looking up.
"Good thinking. You can also use that and just fly over there." Oracle said.
Joker launches a grappling hook and goes up for the catwalk that reveals the open path.
"All right, go straight from there!" Oracle said.
Joker ran into the path looking like an open space with some probs inside.
"Joker-stop!" Oracle shouted.
"What is it, Oracle?" Joker asked.
"It's an enemy—wait, two of them right near you!" Oracle informed.
Suddenly two monster security guards appeared in front of Joker causing him to flip backward only for four more to appear behind him.
"Oh no, I don't think I can fight them all!" Joker worried.
"You could try dodging and—Wait. Joker, those weird readings from earlier is closing in on you too!" Oracle alerted.
"Oh great, now what?" Joker wondered.
Joke looks past the two monster cops to see two figures walking toward them.
"We better not waste any time." The tall girl said.
"Yes, we will end this now." The other girl nodded.
One girl has long red hair tied into a ponytail with bangs over her forehead, matching red eyes, pink lips and fair skin. She wears a black mask with silver highlights and has a black ribbon tied to her ponytail. Her main outfit consists of a strapless black leotard with a sweetheart neckline, a chain belt with two silver rose motifs, and a scabbard for her rapier attached to it, a black choker and red gloves. Her black bolero jacket has gold buttons, ruffled flared sleeves and three floor-length coattails. She wears thigh-length hose and stiletto lace-up pumps that resemble ballet shoes on the top.
The taller girl has has long hip-length reddish-orange hair and red eyes. She has two long orange tufts protruding from her hair resembling horns or ears. She is quite tall and has a slim and curvaceous figure. Her fingernails are short and red. She wears a tattered gakuran with a cap and metal epaulets, a rope belt, and a pair of tengu-geta. She wraps her bosom in a sarashi, and her wrists with the bandages typical of open-hand fighters. She also wears an orange-red mask of a lioness with little fangs on each side.
"Joker, it's them! They're the weird readings I've been getting!" Oracle alerted.
"I'm not worried." Joker smiled.
The red hair mask girl threw her rapier right at one shadow close to Joker's face, this shocked the other cop monsters and they charged at the two girls.
The taller delinquent girl just walked forward with a fierce glare at the monster cops and raised her arm revealing that she has a large great sword and slams it right at two of the monster cops taking them out at the same time while the red hair mask girl shot one down with a graceful backward lean like a ballerina.
"Looks like you two have been keeping up." Joker complimented.
"Thank you, we only wish to repay for having to relied on you so much." The tall delinquent girl said.
"It's time we give you the help you need." The red hair mask girl as she gets her rapier back.
"Let's go this!" The red hair mask girl said as the three got into fighting position.
Three of the guards transform into monsters like the one Joker fought earlier, one is a red bird and the other two are leopards each wielding two swords.
"The enemy readings have decreased?" Oracle confused.
"Those two…!" The boyish voice shocked.
The red bird monster attacks the red hair one with wind, but she easily dodges that attack.
"It's been a while since we last fought side-by-side." The mysterious red hair girl said.
"But now it is us who has come to save you from a jam, as they say." The tall delinquent girl grinned.
"Thank you." Joker thanked.
"Let's win this!" The mysterious red hair girl excitedly.
Joker goes in attacking the red bird with a knife attack and fired a bullet knocking it down, then goes again for extra measure. The tall delinquent girl easily parries away the attack of both leopard monsters and swung her giant sword to knock them down onto the red bird.
"My turn!" The mysterious red hair girl summoned her Persona and unleash an attack that got them all.
"All-Out Attack!" Joker called out and all three jump together and attack all three enemies blitzing attack from all directions.
The tall delinquent girl landed on one knee and got up slamming one foot to the ground with her fist clutching and her eyes looking angry as she screams "Punishment for the Wicked!" as the monsters are defeated.
"Alright, we got them all." The tall delinquent said.
"Thank goodness." The mysterious red-haired girl sighed in relief.
"I genuinely have no clue what just happened, but I take it you're okay?" Oracle asked.
"Yeah, everything is okay." Joker responded.
"Wait-bad news! Enemy backup is headed your way! You need to book it, right now!" Oracle warned.
"Oh no, I gotta go now!" Joker gasped.
"Then go." The tall delinquent girl said.
"We'll make it harder for them to track you down." The mysterious red hair girl added, her expression change to that of worry.
"…You still have something you need to do as a Phantom Thief, right?" The mysterious red hair girl asked.
"I do." Joker nodded.
"Thought so, since we're not members of the Phantom Thieves, it's not in our rights to join this battle. But don't think we'll let you forget about that promise." The tall delinquent girl smiled.
"Yes, we'll be waiting for you until then." The mysterious red hair girl nodded before they jump to higher ground and leave to fight off the incoming backup.
"Joker, you need to get out of there! Go! Go! Go!"
"Okay!" Joker nodded and ran off.
"Go up the stairs at the end of the path! Just a little more, so hang in there!" Oracle said.
"I'll keep on running to the bitter end!" Joker determined.
Joker keeps on sneaking through the structure of the building until he was able to arrive at the area though this confuses him a little.
"Something wrong? The exit should be up ahead." Oracle said.
"You mean through the painted glass?" Joker asked.
"That's just how it is. After that commotion, the bottom floor is completely closed off. Hey, can you make it?" Oracle explained.
"I will definitely try." Joker said.
"Over there!" An agent spotted him.
"There's nowhere to run!" Another agent shouted.
"That's what you think!" Joker said before running off and made his way for the painted glass.
Joker stops and jump right through the stained glass with a twirl.
"What a showoff." Oracle chuckled.
"You're so reckless, you know that?" The second female voice commented.
As soon as Joker lands on the ground, lights suddenly flash onto Joker blinding him for a second though he knows that he just got himself caught in an ambush as his friends are worried for him.
"Capture him!" A police capture ordered.
Joker threw down three smoke bombs making some thick cover and ran for the fire escape ladder going up only to find armor officers waiting up, one officer tries to hit Joker with the hilt of the gun though he dodges each strike though he slips up and fell toward the other officers then being restrained onto the ground.
"Suspect secured." One soldier reported.
"Didn't expect to find some kid." One man said walking up to him.
"You have your teammate to thank for this. You were sold out." The man revealed shocking Joker.
"Suspects confirm. Cuff him."
And so, Joker was cuffed and taken away.
