Saryuu had always wished for a better world for Second Stage Children but there was no other alternative than to fight it seemed. Indeed El Dorado had made it their goal to make them disappear whathever the method employed. And while it was all fun and game travelling through time for Raimon and for whichever team El Dorado chose, the harsh reality never left Saryuu's mind.

Second Stage Children were actually dying out there and no not because of their impossibly short lifespan but because El Dorado was slaughtering them. The so-called humanitarian corporation was butchering his peers in cold blood and away from the public eye. Saryuu's organisation Fader was the only haven for Second Stage Children and behind trying to eradicate soccer from the face of Earth El Dorado's main goal was to erase Fader only, because it could easily kill Second Stage Children. After all as is said in the name and despite their great power, they were still for the most part mere isolated ingenuous weak children, lost and depressed they didn't stand a chance against El Dorado's technology and vicious soldiers.

Yes the sole purpeous of their inhumane plan was to take down Fader because it was the only barrier which stood between them and their prey. And Saryuu was not just the mindless lunatic the media made him out to be. Moreover, he was depicted as a bloodthirsty megalomaniac boy with undeserved power, as a terrorist ready to conquer the Earth no matter the cost and whose only motivation was to wipe humans without the advanced genes off the face of the planet as soon as possible.

Honestly this was sickening. He thought the description more fitting to El Dorado. Saryuu's onlyproject was to obliterate them and since they had bases all over the world he had to think on a global , contrary to popular belief, was a reasonable although vengeful person, he always made sure justice was rendered. And El Dorado's solution to what they estimated was a problem put him out of himself. They tracked down Second Stage Children, murdered them, then found their parents, euthanised them and erased all memory from their mind.

Saryuu was not going to let it slide. El Dorado was running away from progress, from nature and the natural selection. The Second Stage Children genes are going to keep appearing, one way or an other and El Dorado was just stalling selfishly with harrowing methods this process. All this, for what ? Saryuu knew the dismal truth. He had El Dorado completely figured out and the truth disgusted him.

El Dorado was allegedly doing this because the spread of Second Stage Children genes meant people's life expectancy was going to be divided by four or five, because their scientific and biologic department which was the most advanced worlwide proclamed there was no way to lenghten the poor life expectancy of Second Stage Children. But Saryuu knew it was just a cover up. El Dorado was doing all these killings because they were selfish. In fact, they were also jealous and cowards. A mixof pathetic scared people was running El Dorado. They were old men, terrified of being replaced by younger, better human being.

And while it was indeed true that Second Stage Children lived about as long as cavemen did, there was a solution to this problem, a solution that could reverse the trend and even make them live a lot longer than the other humans while keeping their teenage body, no decline, no growing old. Yes, Saryuu had a plan but he wasnt going to reveal it too soon.

So El Dorado just made up excuses, it was too late for them to access to this power, to this potential funtain of youth, therefore they decided to ruin this for everyone in an horrid way. Saryuu had nothing against the rest of humanity, he just wanted to live a happy peaceful life in the beginning and to find a way to expand his people's lifespan. That is what he wanted to do when he first presented as a Second Stage Child. But being in the first rows of such displays of cruelty towards mere kids by El Dorado messed him up and he became ruthless when facing the ennemy, he decided to found his own resistance then.

He encountered a mole ready to betray El Dorado on the ennemy side and he managed to gather his peers thanks to this mole : Supporter X. He later discovered Supporter X was the father of a Second stage kid and that he hid his son from El Dorado untrusting him to Saryuu despite his best instincts. But Saryuu was actually a man of his words. He wouldn't dream of betraying a valuable ally like Supporter X. He was part of his underworld financiation and support, and Saryuu knew that without him working in the shadows providing flows of cash, weapons and new recrutes Fader would be quite vulnerable.

And while talking about his beloved organisation, Fader was saddly or perhaps thankfully holding itself together by a thread of lies. Saryuu could hardly tell the truth to his comrades, indeed for the most part they thought they were on a quest, a revolution to overthrow the old minded gouvernement and pretty far they were right. However they did not realise the threat the ennemy posed, they did not realise that the ennemy was trying to kill them. They thought for the most part El Dorado was actually a humanitarian entity simply wanting to impose order and to arrest those disrupting this order. Many had in mind this teenage dream of revolting and being a badass by destroying public property because it was fun and because they were immensly confused about being different.

But it wasn't just a case of demonstrations .It was a matter of life or death and he was mainly the only one seeing this. A part of the organisation was depressed about being different and just wandering through life without purpose and they stuck with Saryuu and Fader because they needed a family and confort. The other part stayed because they found it fun to use their powers and entitled to cause civil unrest. But it wasn't going farther than that. It stopped at demolishing buildings and giving the cops migrains. And said buildings were rebuilt the following day , it was so much more easy to errect buildings nowadays. In short they never really hurt anyone save for Garo and his posse who had the tendency to get physical with the representatives of authority, though they'd stopped as soon as the cops started bleeding. Even then they were criticised by the other Second Stage Children for being too violent towards human beings.

So evidently Saryuu couldn't tell them about El Dorado slaughtering them, about the fact that he killed El Dorado soldiers with no remorse whatsoever, and that he hired elite assassins with Supporter X's money to help him do the dirty job. Saryuu envisioned it would break them, emotionally and affect their Second Stage powers. He thought if they came to know the truth, that they would either lash out and let their power consume them ultimately leading to their imminent death or that they would get infinitely depressed and fear the enemy, getting sloppy with their control over their power leading to them giving up the fight. He couldn't confide in Garo, the latter was actually your everyday bully upgraded by Second Stage Children powers and although Garo always played the tough guy around everybody he didn't have what it took to kill a man, Garo was all bark and no bite and all it took was a glare from Saryuu to turn Garo into a submissive puppy. He couldn't confide in Meai and Giris either, they were living their little love fantasy, oblivious to reality. The rest of his comrades were hanging to his every word and were actually quite psycologically fragile so he had to keep the harsh truth away from them.

Finally he couldn't confide in Fey, even though he was the most level headed out of them all and perhaps his most reliable element, because he was Supporter X's son and the latter was bent on protecting what was left of his son's faith in humanity, Saryuu couldn't blame him for that. It was a parent's role to shelter their kids and Saryuu considered himself to be the father of this family of orphans quirky kids.

And daddy didn't mind going to crazy lenghts to ensure his Second Stage Children's future.
