Hello everyone! After a really, really long time, I have been able to write something. I know it's a bit silly, but I think it suits my mood to try it. Also, I hope to be able to write onto the other fics, this giving me the outlet to get rid of the writting block I have been stuck. Also, thanks to Forsake_Seer_XIV for giving me the key to just write this. Now, enjoy!
Rule 10: No changing the pool to an aquarium.
Mr. Walker, the owner of the hotel Elysium, a hotel designed for demigods, gods, and some creatures for them to live on New York, was standing near the pool of the hotel, looking at what seemed to be lots of sea fish living there. Poseidon was at his side, clearly proud of himself.
- No, I'm sorry lord Poseidon, but I won't allow this on the hotel. – He said, looking straight at Poseidon to the eye. He didn't seem to really agree to this statement.
- They aren't hurting anybody. And the demigods can enjoy being near the sea. – Poseidon said, with a smile that indicated he expected to win the argument.
- Is that a shark on the pool? – Mr. Walker pointed out, and the shark was being clearly seen on the pool, swimming without a care.
- Yes, it won't hurt… Nevermind. I see your point… - Poseidon admitted, after the shark started devouring the rest of the fish, and their blood started to stain the pool. – But I could order him to not harm. – Poseidon tried to argue, but it was clear that it was a losing battle.
The only response was a look of Mr. Walker looking at him directly, with an expression that told the god of his decision.
Rule 22: No removing all meat from the kitchens without permission.
Again, Mr. Walker, with the cooking staff looking, was present, in this case, on the kitchen, looking at the emptied shelves of the fridges, where the meat and fish needed to be. Demeter was there, clearly proud of her program of vegetarianism.
- Lady Demeter, no. You can't force all the people at my hotel to be vegetarians. Now, please, bring back the meat! And fish! – Mr. Walker demanded, clearly upset at the loss of all the ingredients.
- But they need more cereals! – Demeter demanded, also upset by not having her way.
- When you speak to lord Apollo about what happens to people who don't take meat and fish, and propose something more formal, I will abide, but now… - Mr. Walker explained, but Demeter just huffed and disappeared in a puff of flowers and vegetables.
- Please, make a call for more meat and fish… - Mr. Walker finally said, thinking that he would need to pull over the budgets again.
Rule 13: Don't pick a fight with the owner of the hotel. It's not worth it.
Mr. Walker was dressed in his uniform, a staff in hand, after dealing with some demigods which wanted to disregard the curfew, deciding to fight the owner. They were from the Ares floor, wanting to just enjoy the bar and the amenities more time, and pulled out their weapons, a sword and a spear, both with shields strapped to their other hand in a formation.
Mr. Walker sighed and pressed a button on the staff. After two seconds, the demigods were stuck to the ceiling by their shields, their weapons on the ceiling too. They removed the straps and fell, but another button pushed, and traps opened directly on the floor, swallowing them.
- I am lucky that I asked lord Hephaestus and lady Athena for these reforms. – Mr. Walker smirked to himself, while he followed without a care on the world, while these two demigods were now on the "dungeon floor" being punished for being out of bed without a good reason.
He didn't mind demigods out of bed for good reasons, like having a problem in their room or needing to go to the hospital floor. These had a pass, but the ones who disregarded the curfew without reasons, that's why there was a dungeon floor.
Rule 30: Never ever get between Mr. Walker and Hades budgeting sessions.
It was night and on the table were documents with numbers, demonstrating the budget for numerous things for the hotel. Hades and Mr. Walker were sitting, with wine on their coups, pulling through the papers, and adjusting the numbers.
All the gods knew better than interrupt the session. The reason was because after the third time, Hestia pulled her foot down, and declared that she would be most displeased if it happened again, as it was putting into jeopardy the stability of the home, her domain.
Nobody wanted Hestia angry at them, and she always had a cake made to herself in offering the day the budgeting session was going to happen.
Rule 1: All demigods, creatures and gods are welcome to the Hotel Elysium, if they leave the fight outside and follow the rules of hospitality. So, it's swore and validated by the Styx.
Hestia, Hades, and a lady were on front of the reception of the hotel, Mr. Walker in front of them, and a contract signed with the names of the gods and his name, Jayden Walker, on the dotted line.
Thanks for reading! This will be updated sporadically, when more prompts for rules for the Hotel Elysium comes. Got plenty of ideas though, and maybe I can add more to them. See you soon!
