Title: You're My Everything

Chapter 11/Epilogue

(Everything was just as it should be in the world. Spencer and Trina were closer than ever. They are in love and committed to each other. Everyone was happy for them. Portia was hesitant at first, but she eventually came around, much to Spencer and Trina's delight)

(With Trina's love and support, Spencer decided that he needed to clear the air with someone. Someone he probably should have talked to a long time ago. He was not ready to do it then, though. That time has come)

(Outside the front door to the Cassadine Mansion, Spencer and Trina take a moment to talk about what they are about to do)

Trina: "Are you sure you are ready to do this? If you are not, I will completely understand."

(Spencer nods his head in determination)

Spencer: "No, I know it needs to be done. To be honest, I probably should have done it before today. I just could not bring myself to do it. But, to move forward, it needs to happen."

Trina: (nods) "I'm right here with you, every step of the way. I love you."

Spencer: (smiles) "Thank you for everything. I love you, too."

(They share a kiss before Spencer knocks on the front door. They hear footsteps coming before the door opens, revealing Nikolas. He was surprised for sure to see his son and Trina before him. Nikolas offers a smile before speaking)

Nikolas: "Hello, son."

Spencer: (nods) "Father."

(Nikolas could not help but be caught off-guard that, for the first time in a long time, Spencer said 'father'. Nikolas continues to smile)

Nikolas: "What can I do for you? Hello, Trina."

Trina: (nods) "Mr. Cassadine."

Nikolas: (chuckles) "Oh, please, call me Nikolas."

Trina: "Hello, Nikolas."

(All three go inside to the living room before Nikolas speaks)

Nikolas: "Can I get either of you anything?"

Trina: "No, I'm fine. Thank you."

Spencer: "I'm good."

Nikolas: "While I really appreciate the visit, I will admit I am a little surprised by it. Last time I checked, you were not speaking to me, son. What changed?"

(Spencer sighs deeply as it was time to make amends and he needed to follow through)

Spencer: "We needed to talk. To clear the air."

Trina: "Spencer, I can go if you want."

Spencer: "No, you're welcome here." (chuckles dryly) "In case I need you to run interference, please."

Trina: (nods) "No problem."

(Trina stays out of the way, but is within earshot incase Spencer needs her)

Spencer: "I need to get a few things off my chest."

Nikolas: (nods) "Go ahead."

Spencer: "Do you have any idea how badly you hurt me when you slept with Esme, who was my girlfriend at the time?"

Nikolas: (sighs) "Son, even if you forgive me, I will never forgive myself as I had a weak moment and Esme played on that. It is like I knew what she was capable of, but I still let her manipulate me. With her doing that, it caused a major rift between you and I. For that, I am truly sorry, son."

Spencer: "Have you and Ava made peace? Has she forgiven you?"

Nikolas: "Unfortunately, no, she has not forgiven me. So far, we have not made peace. I have tried multiple times to talk to her. It falls on deaf ears."

Spencer: (rolls his eyes) "Can you blame her?"

Nikolas: (shakes his head) "No, unfortunately, I can't. I think it is safe to say my marriage is over. And you are right. I have no one to blame but myself."

(Nikolas sighs deeply as he puts his hands together like he is praying before speaking)

Nikolas: "As much as I love Ava, though, you are my son. I want to repair our relationship more."

(Nikolas breaks his hands apart)

Nikolas: "Please tell me what I can do to repair it."

(Spencer faces his girl for comfort and reassurance. She smiles and nods at him, as if telling him 'You can do this, I got you'. Spencer sighs before speaking)

Spencer: "I am finally ready to forgive you for what has happened and what you did. However, I can't just forget. Not right now, anyway. It will take a bit of time to get there. Can you be patient with me until that happens, please?"

Nikolas: (smiles) "Yes, I can. Knowing I have your forgiveness…even though we need to go slow…I will give you all the time in the world. Thank you for letting me back in, son."

(Spencer shocks himself and his father even more by opening his arms, which Nikolas immediately takes his son up on. Father and son hug for the first time in a long time. Silent tears are falling. After they break free, they both agree they will set up a time to have lunch soon)

(Trina and Spencer make their exit. They are outside the front door)

Trina: "I know that had to have been hard to do. I am so proud of you, baby, for doing it, though."

Spencer: (smiles) "Thank you. I owe it all to you for giving me the strength and making me believe I can do anything."

Trina: (chuckles) "You CAN do anything you set your mind on. I'm always here for you, Spencer. I love you."

Spencer: (smiles) "I love you, too. I'm always here for you, too."

Trina: "We're just two pieces in a pod."

(Spencer takes his girl in his arms and kisses her forehead)

Spencer: "Nothing can stop us when it's us against the world."

Trina: "Mmmm, my thoughts exactly."

(They continue to embrace a bit more before going about their day. Life was perfect for them. They had each other for life)
