Chapter 17 Odd Child 3

Miles away Kalrow and Wyzen were traveling aboard Kalrow's personal Septentrion battleship the Phecda to investigate the weird energy signature Kalrow had picked up some time ago. The ship came across a city and Wyzen headed down with a couple dozen Doji and Rasho troops to back him up to explore the city and find the source of the energy signature. The city at first appeared to be abandoned with no signs of any life, but as Wyzen and his forces headed deeper in they came across several dead bodied of both humans and Goham. Wyzen first assumed that the the civilians had fought against the Goham and had managed to kill them, but as he and his troops examined the bodies of both the humans and Goham, he saw wounds that looked more like they had been inflicted by a bladed weapon of some kind and a few that looked like they were done by high intensified lasers. A few of the Goham looked like their bones had been broken with a good deal amount of force.
Wyzen was curious about what could have done this as he lead his troops deeper into the city. They spotted a few Stingers flying towards a large building and decided to follow them Wyzen and his troops entered a large arena-like building and were met by a odd sight. A Squasher sitting in the middle of the place surrounded by some Lesser Howlers, Primary Howlers, and Stingers that were just standing still and waiting. Casually sitting on the Squasher was a boy who was identical to Loki, except he wore a blue version of Loki's outfit, he lacked Loki's headphones and pyramid-shaped pendant, the symbol on his forehead was two blue triangle touching each other looking a bit like wings.
The boy didn't look concerned by the Gohams at all and looked a bit board. The Gohams, with the exception of the Squasher just stared at the boy doing nothing, which just confounded Wyzen and his troops. Normally Goham usually attacked humans and other beings on sight, so this was very unusual behavior. The boy took notice of Wyzen and his troops and a look of interest appeared on his face.
"Finally someone interesting shows up. I was getting a bit board hanging around here after all the humans died. These Goham chaps are really only good at fighting, not really ones for chatting." Said the boy.
"Who are you and why aren't the Goham attacking you?" Demanded Wyzen.
"You can call me Loptr, let's just say I'm a big deal. As for the Goham, at first I couldn't really control them and had to fight and kill quite a few of them before the rest finally realized I was the boss. I don't really have complete control over them nor can I summon more."
"Are you a Goham or some kind of servant of Vlitra?" Demanded Wyzen.
"Oh I'm far from being a Goham, a human, or a demigod. I don't exactly know who this Vlitra being is, so I have no connection with them." Said Loptr.
Wyzen studied Loptr carefully. The boy appeared to be human, but there was just something he didn't like about him. Wyzen decided the boy needed to be taken in and questioned.
"Apprehend that boy." Said Loptr to his troops.
The Doji and Rasho moved forward with their weapons. Loptr pointed his fingers forward and the Gohams around him sprung into action and attacked. Wyzen and his troops quickly attacked the charging monsters taking them out quickly and the demigod rushed at the Squasher and Loptr to deliver a powerful punch to the Goham to kill it and capture the boy. Loptr smiled as Wyzen's fist collided with a barrier that blocked his attack and knocked him back!
"What the?!" Said Wyzen in confusion as Loptr produced what appeared to be blue playing cards and threw them with incredible speed and accuracy hitting and killing the Dojis!
A couple of Rasho leaped at Loptr with their lances only to be grabbed by a pair of ethereal arms that smashed them together and dropped them to the ground in a mangled heap. Wyzen looked at his dead troops stunned, before he became angry and fire a missile from his large arm at Loptr and the Squasher. The missile struck the Squasher and exploded killing the beast, which pleased Wyzen, but then Loptr suddenly appeared right in front of him hovering with six ethereal arms floating besides him.
"What exactly are you?" Asked Wyzen staring at Loptr.
"I'm your better. Now let's go to that ship of yours and take a little trip to your superior." Said Loptr before he, Wyzen, and the remaining troops that were still alive were engulfed in a blue light and they vanished from the arena.
Aboard the bridge of the Phecda, Kalrow was studying one of his monitors, when there was a flash of light and suddenly Wyzen and some of his troops appeared with a strange boy. Kalrow and his bridge crew looked at the arrivals in confusion, before one of Kalrow's scanners began to beep. The demigod looked at the scanner and quickly realized that the strange energy signature he had picked up was coming from the boy that had just appeared on the bridge.
"Who or what are you?" Asked Kalrow.
"I am Loptr and I am a being of great importance. Take me to your superior so I may speak to them." Said the boy.
Kalrow glanced at Wyzen and his troops who were eyeing warily Loptr. Kalrow wasn't much of a fighter and was curious what this boy was and wanted to speak with Deus about, so he set a course to Shinto. Loptr smiled as he looked out the window at the sky. The smile sent a slight shiver down Kalrow's spine and he silently prayed that Deus would be able to handle this strange boy, when they met.
