It had been a few days since Basil's nightmare and getting into trouble but Basil couldn't help wonder why he was having so many nightmares.

Ratigan was cooking breakfast for them when Basil came into the room. He could smell the delicious food that Ratigan was cooking.

Ratigan was wearing a white sweater, khaki pants with a black belt and dress shoes. His hair was combed back; he had made an image of himself as the father figure of Basil.

"Father may I go outside?" Basil asked as Ratigan turned towards him and frowned

"No Basil you must stay indoors." Ratigan says as Basil looked down and sighed

Basil wanted to go outside his head was fine but he didn't want to disobey his father after he said no. So Basil nodded and Ratigan smiled as he resumed cooking.

While Ratigan's back was turned Basil snuck out of the house unnoticed. Basil smelled the fresh air some reason his body told him to run. Basil stayed where he was ignoring his body.

Basil wandered off adventuring away from home to explore the town.

Ratigan turned around to tell Basil breakfast was ready, but he didn't see Basil. His eyes widened as he ran to the door.

" BASILIUS!" Ratigan yelled in a panic and ran out the door." Where are you?!" Ratigan called out to Basil and searched the grounds

Ratigan was worried about his "son," but mostly whether Basil remembered who he was. If Ratigan lost him, that would be bad.

Basil walked down the street, away from his home, but then he grew scared because he didn't know where he was. Basil tried to remember which way he came from, but everything looked the same until he heard a voice.

" BASILIUS!" Ratigan shouted angrily as he walked down the street and Basil ran to Ratigan

" Father!" Basil says running towards Ratigan and Basil hugged Ratigan

Ratigan looked down at Basil and Ratigan hugged him tight. Ratigan sighed in relief he was ok then he looked at Basil sternly.

" Do you have any idea how worried I was young man!? What the hell were you thinking?! Let me tell you, you weren't thinking!" Ratigan shouted as Basil looked down

" I...I'm sorry father." Basil says as Ratigan grabbed his ear and took him home

Ratigan still had a grip on Basil's ear as he lead him home. Once in the house Ratigan let go of Basil's ear and Basil rubbed his ear.

" I told you not, I repeat not to go outside! Your still not recovered from your accident. What if you fell on your head?? You could of forgotten about me your father. I'm very disappointed in you." Ratigan lectured Basil and Basil looked down

" I...I'm sorry father." Basil says as Ratigan lifted his chin and Ratigan tsked

Ratigan grabbed Basil by the arm guding him to his study and Basil sniffed following his father.

"Basil what you did today I can't excuse. You scared me son." Ratigan says looking at Basil and Basi lowered his eyes

" I...I know father." Basil says as Ratigan sat in a chair and sighed pinching his forehead

Ratigan motioned Basil to him amd Basil walked to Ratigan. Ratigan pulled Basil over his lap and trapped Basil's legs with his own

" F...father?" Basil asked as Ratigan looked at Basil sternly and Basil pinned back his ears

" You disobeyed me Basil, I told you not to go outside. I'm very disappointed in you and you earned yourself a spanking." Ratigan said as he unbuckled his belt and folded the belt

Basil gulped knowing he should of listened to his father and should've known better then to disobeyed his father. Ratigan pulled down Basil's pants and underwear slightly then hit Basil's bottom with the belt.

Basil flinched as Ratigan started the spanking without any warning. Ratigan kept up the pace of the spanking and Basil gripped at Ratigan's pants tears threatening to spill from his eyes.

Ratigan kept spanking Basil with the belt the thought of Basil hurt or worse him remembering scared him. If all honesty Ratigan enjoyed being Basil's father. Ratigan snapped out of his thoughts hearung Basil crying.

" F...father i...I'm so sorry p...please." Basil begged through tears and sobs

Ratigan stopped pulling up Basil's underwear and pants making Basil hiss. Ratigan hugged Basil tightly and Ratigan sighed rubbing Basil's back.

" Don't ever disobey me again Basil next time I won't stop." Ratigan says as Basil hiccupped and nodded

" Y..yes father." Basil says hoarsely as Ratigan held him close

Ratigan smiled at Basil's breath evening out and Ratigan stood up with Basil in his arms.

" I love you Basilius." Ratigan says setting down Basil in the chair and they ate breakfast

Ratigan smiled as he truly felt they were father and son.
