Note: To prove how wibbly-wobbly the Millma Verse is at the moment, this chapter is set BEFORE both the latest Hitchhikers Guide, as Musty still hasn't given her pups away, as you'll see, and BEFORE the latest Beautiful chapter, in which their Rae sets up a pop-up restaurant. So bear that in mind when reading this chapter.

The Death of Firestorm

-Mid October-

Kara and Barry were on the field in STAR Labs; they had Star, Romana, and Jason with them. Since Jason's outburst with the kids over them testing their powers, Kara and Barry decided that Jason had to attend weekly power training to keep his powers in check while not in school. It was mostly strength training to teach him how to use his strength and how to be careful, too. Star and Romana had wanted to join, but the two had decided Alura, Nora, and Kent should stay with Amelia and Eric. She had them at L-Corp with her right now.

"Jason, you need to be gentle with that one," Kara said, seeing Jason break the training dummy. "That one was meant for gentle touches – as if you were dealing with a human," Jason huffed at that. "You can huff and puff all you want, but I have to be gentle with Barry. I'm lucky in the fact if I mess up a little Barry will heal. Your father though, has to be gentle with your mother all the time – as you have seen. If you ever want a relationship with a someone, more than likely you will need to learn to be gentle."

"Who says I ever want a relationship? Just because you're the Paragon of Love doesn't mean this whole world is about love," Jason retorted, sharply.

"Maybe you won't, but you also have to learn to be gentle just to shake someone's hand and not break it. You were better at this when you were younger," Kara commented back.

"Mom, dad!" This was Star who was in the air flying around and targeting STAR Co robotic target. STAR was selling these flying targets for metas to use to train and even to hunting lodges and gun ranges for humans to shoot at with guns – they were big sellers. Meanwhile, Barry had set up an obstacle course for Romana for her to train with Barry being her villain opponent – a course they had promised Jason he could run if he perfected strength training. "There's something up there..." Star was pointing at the sky and Kara looked up to see what she was looking at.

There seemed to be some type of blue portal opening in the sky, barely noticeable to normal eyes, but the object that came out of the portal was very noticeable. A large ship the two were familiar with: the Waverider.

What does Rip Hunter want? Barry asked his wife in their heads as the ship came down to park in the field.

I guess we'll see, Kara thought back, the two going to ship, indicating the kids to follow them. Star landed next to Kara, and Romana went beside Barry as Jason lagged behind. As the door opened though, the group was surprised to see Sara come out.

"Sara?" Barry asked.

"Leonard, what world are we on?" Sara asked after staring at the two for a moment.

"Karry Universe," the voice of Leonard Snart said back, clearly from the ship and memories of Crisis came to Kara and Barry's head – of being on this Waverider as they surfed the multiverse.

"You're Splitsville," Kara said remembering the name of the world where Leonard was the A.I, inside the Waverider, having replaced Gideon.

"That would be us," it was a familiar voice and Barry smiled as a Rae came out of it. She had a white dog and black cat with her; Barry raised an eyebrow at the familiar blonde behind her, though. He had seen a young Courtney Whitmore before, and the Staff she was holding was a dead giveaway. "I thought we were just helping you with one mission and then going home to our time."

"This is the correct time period," Leonard said. "But my sensors say Karry Universe will need us soon. You can use the multiverse system to get home."

"Multiverse system?" Courtney asked.

"Fill you in later," Rae said. "Hey, before we head home, what's Connor up to?"

"He's in Metropolis," Kara said.

"Come on, Courtney," Rae said as Sha're, her cat, disappeared into her shadow and she ran off. Daniel, her dog, gave a bark and flew after her. Courtney got on her Staff and flew away too; Barry looking at her on that Staff.

Kara, knowing her husband was distracted by the Staff, took the lead. "Why will we need you?" Kara asked.

"Not sure, Leonard does this sometimes now he can travel the multiverse thanks to that Accord," Sara said of the update the former-Accord-now-new-Monitor had given the ship. "Why don't you come in and we can see if we can figure it out?"

"Can we go in?" Romana asked.

"Yeah, go," Kara said and smiled as the two raced in after Sara. "Jason, you too." Jason gave a frown but stomped in as well as Kara and Barry followed.

Inside was what the two had come to understood was a normal-ish multiverse Legends group; Sara as leader with Ava Sharp, Ray Palmer, Nora Palmer (formerly Darkh), Zari Tarazi (or Tomaz depending on the world), and Mick Rory. "Well Leonard, can you share some light on what you sense?"

-Karry Universe-

Connor was in Lois and Clark's new home. His father was out running the paper, but since it was the weekend, Connor had come to help Lois and Ella continue setting up the basement and hanging up some pictures.

They had been living in the house for several months, but with Lois's surgery and recovery, setting some things up had been slow. Jonny had come often as well, as he was here too.

"Okay," Jonny said, coming up the stairs. "The pool table is set up and STAR Co. enhanced so it doesn't break so easily. I'd still be careful with your strength, Ella."

"Thanks Jonny," Ella said, hugging the boy and then running down the stairs.

"The frame is crooked, Connor," Jonny pointed out; Conner was hanging up a picture on the wall under Lois's direction. Lois was sitting on the couch with her cane nearby. She was recovering well and regaining her movement, but she still needed some support. She was upset she wasn't up and running the same way Felicity had been, but her doctors had assured her that was very rare, and she was above the curve for her recovery.

"Just a little to the left," Lois added, and Connor adjusted the frame a little. "There we go – perfect. Thank you, boys for coming."

"Any time," Connor said. Since he lived in Metropolis, he was here a lot anyway.

"I like spending time with my aunt and uncle," Jonny said with a smile and Lois gave a smile back. Even though Jonny was Clark's son, the fact Clark's face on his world had been his uncle had made Jonny see the two as his aunt and uncle. Lois was happy to take that role for the teenager. "Going to grab a snack."

"Toss me something," Connor called back as Jonny went into the kitchen.

Jonny went and tossed an apple towards Connor, but before it reached the boys' hand a flash interrupted it and caught it instead.

"Thanks," a Rae said as she stopped, taking a bite of the apple.

Connor blinked for a moment, thinking this was his girlfriend, but right away figured it wasn't. The Kryptonian dog and the black cat were dead giveaways. "Little Rae," Connor said, knowing the nickname for Splitsville Rae.

"Yes," Rae said as they heard a noise in the back. "Oh, that's Courtney," Rae opened the door and let the girl with the staff inside. "Courtney, this is Connor; and you met our Lois, and this is Jonny."

"Hi," Courtney said to the group. "Hope you don't mind us dropping by?"

"Multiverse visits are pretty common nowadays," Lois said with a smile. "So, what brings you two here?"

"A random A.I. decision while we were helping our Legends. We figured we'd come see what Connor was up to before going home," Rae said.

"And I just tagged along. Been nice since Rae came to find me. Having other heroes to work with," Courtney said with a smile.

"Hey, have you heard from my Rae recently?" Connor asked.

"Mini Me, no," Rae said.

"Come down to the basement. I got stuff to tell you. Jonny you too," Connor said. "Lois, mind…."

"Go, have some fun, kids," Lois said with a smile as the teens went to the basement.

-Karry Universe-

Back in the Waverider, the group were still figuring out why the A.I. Snart had taken the Splitsville Legends to Karry.

"There will be a situation soon we can help with," the A.I. was explaining.

"Can you be a bit more exact?" Ray asked the A.I., putting his arm around Nora as he did.

"No," Leonard said, making the Splitsville Legends and the two from Karry give each other a look. "If I elaborate too much, I could change the course for the better or for the worst. I think it's better sticking with my current plan."

"Which you cannot tell us?" Barry asked.

"I cannot," Leonard said.

"Is your A.I. always like this?" Barry asked.

"He has Leonard Snart's brain," Ava said back, and Barry gave a nod to that, knowing how difficult Leonard Snart could be. "Leonard, can you tell us anything?"

"It has to do with a man from the future calling himself Weapons Master," Leonard said.

"Ha! I knew that he was from the future," Barry said with a smirk and Kara gave her husband a light push as she turned to look at the kids. Romana and Star seemed fascinated by all the things around the room and Zari was showing the two around. Meanwhile Jason had taken a seat and seemed bored.

"What exactly about him?" Kara asked.

"He will attack a member of your League," Leonard said. "And without us, it will be deadly. But that is all I can reveal."

Worry went between the two from Karry at this. Who was going to be attacked and how deadly exactly…?

-Karry Universe-

In Metropolis, and once in the basement, Jonny and Courtney were playing with the pool table. Ella was sitting to the side, watching the two and taking in how to play. Meanwhile, Connor and Rae were sitting on a couch and Daniel was playing with Ella; since Musty had recently had her and Goofy's pups so she had been temporarily relocated to Seg and Nyssa's place so as not to do any untoward damage to Lois. Ella missed her dog, but understood the reasoning, so was glad to spend some time with Daniel instead. Sha're, though, hadn't followed them down and Rae suspected she was snuggling with Lois – she was absent from Rae's shadow, after all.

"So, let me get this straight, my Mini Me wants to do a pop-up restaurant?" Rae said and a smirk was on her face.

"She's still working out the details on how, but so far, she's doing good. The Luthors there apparently have a spot she can use for it. She needs some help planning the menu. I know she was going to call you and New Justice about it, but since you're here…" Connor stated.

"Text her, tell her I am in," Rae said, and Connor went to send a text.

"Do I have a part to play in this?" Jonny asked as Courtney took her shot and got the ball in. Jonny frowned as Courtney went to take another shot.

"Possibly wait staff," Connor said.

"Cool, I'm in," Jonny said. It was still weird being around younger versions of his mom, but he was making the effort to not make it like that.

"I'm not," Courtney said. "No offense Rae, but no way will I be a waitress." Rae gave a nod to her friend. "And all I need to do is get the 8-ball in the side pocket." Courtney pointed and then took her aim. The ball slid into the pocket. "And I win."

"How are you so good at this game?" Jonny asked, leaning on his cue.

"I use a Staff as a weapon," Courtney pointed out, nodding towards her Staff, which was leaning against the wall. The Staff lit up, as if agreeing using it was practice, even though that made no sense to Jonny.

"Can you teach me? I want to bring my friends over to play, but have never played before," Ella said.

"Come on, help me set it back up and we'll do some practice," Courtney said, going to take the balls out of the pockets and Ella went to help.

"Oh, Rae messaged me back," Connor said. "Well, my Rae. She says there will be a STAR Sci Con back on her world soon. We can get together and plot then." Rae gave a nod as Connor went to text back that was good.

-Karry Universe-

Ronnie, Michelle, and Cody were as Firestorm, patrolling around the air. They had to combine every few days to stay alive and they tended to go on patrol when they did.

"Hey, can I take control for a moment? Maybe we can go to Keystone and help Liam and Rose," Cody said in their head to the other two.

Ronnie was naturally in charge when they combined, but he could give control to the other two. Michelle, for her part, was always fine letting the other two stay in charge – she wasn't too keen on being the hero, after all. Before Ronnie could answer though, they were hit by some type of blast.

"Weapons Master!" Ronnie said, recovering from the hit and turning to see the newest villain who had been attacking them.

"I see I am getting well known," Weapons Master called. "You will be my greatest victory!" Ronnie threw out flames, but some type of shield went up in front of Weapons Master as he charged at Ronnie.

"Damn, I think I am working on that shield at Little Star," Ronnie said, knowing the theory of this villain being from the future.

Kara and Barry were still on the Waverider when their communicators went off.

"Firestorm is under attack," Gideon's voice said through the communicator.

"Star, Romana, Jason, stay here," Kara said as she and Barry were out fast, having been training in their outfits anyway, they were easily able to respond.

"Leonard," Sara said.

"Responding," Leonard's voice said back and the Waverider took to the air.

"We're actually going?" Jason said, seeming to catch interest.

"You three will be staying safely in this ship," Ava said which Star and Romana gave a nod as the ship started to move. Jason gave a frown.

As Kara and Barry arrived at the scene, it was as Weapons Master managed to hit Firestorm with some type of new weapon – an orb–like ball that exploded on the hero, upon hitting though, they saw the three of them get blown back. Separated as the Firestorm entity. Kara went to go catch them but with the three separating, they went different ways. Ronnie hit into a building; Cody through a window of a restaurant; and Michelle into a parked car.

Kara couldn't go check on them as she had to deal with Weapons Master who turned his focus to her.

Kara, want a boost? Barry asked in her head. He could join Kara fighting side by side but wondered if he stayed back and giving Kara his powers would be better. They had been getting better at sharing their powers through their bond recently.

Give them, Kara thought back. This baddie had future knowledge, so combining their powers would maybe help level the advantage his technology gave him.

Kara could feel the rush when Barry's powers entered her. She wasn't sure if this was really what it felt like to be connected to the Speed Force or not, but she had gotten used to using it.

Running fast at the man, Barry's speed and her strength made a dent in his future armor. A new weapon came at her, but she barely felt it.

"I wasn't ready for a Kryptonian," Weapons Master mumbled, and Kara knew he was about to ditch, and she wanted this over. She rushed at him, running around with Barry's speed and her freeze breath to create ice around the man – fast.

Before Kara could take the final punch, a giant robot landed near him. Kara blinked at seeing the massive robot but shook off the appearance. Kara was ready to attack it as the Waverider came above them.

"Oh no, not them," Weapons Master said as the robot teleported him in. The Waverider took a few shots as the robot retreated.

Kara felt Barry's powers leave her as Barry went to get the three fallen heroes; Kara herself going and grabbing Cody. She saw Splitsville's Atom had come and grabbed Ronnie while Sara was standing at the open doors of the Waverider, which was in midair. The heroes easily brought the three inside the ship.

"That sucked," Jason said, giving a grin as if he was amused Weapons Master had gotten away, but Kara decided to ignore that as they went to bring the three humans that made Firestorm to the Waveriders medical bay.

We need to get Caitlin and Liam, Kara thought to Barry who agreed.

…..

Getting Caitlin had been fast and lucky Jesse had been with her and agreed to watch Garfield and Jenny. Kara had gotten Liam and Rose, who wanted to come as well.

"Tell me what's wrong with them?" Caitlin said, getting into doctor-mode seeing her husband unconscious.

"Each part of Firestorm has a different deadly injury. Ronnie is suffering from massive internal bleeding, Michelle has a brain bleed, and Cody ended up stabbed through the abdomen by the weapon this Weapons Master used," the Leonard A.I. said, showing the injuries on screens. "Alone they could be treated and survive with treatments I can use – even treatments you have developed – but due to the Firestorm matrix connecting the three they are all suffering from all three, mentally. Their chance of survival is low."

"What can be done?" Caitlin said.

"Separate," Rose said making the others from Karry look at her.

"The meta who can see the future is right," the Leonard A.I. said. "Our Martin Stein and Jax developed a way for the Firestorm matrix to be separated. Should we administer this cure, each part of Firestorm would only be suffering from one injury that can be healed."

"This is why you brought us here," Ava said in realization.

"Yes, to separate Firestorm and save the individuals," the A.I. said. "But I cannot do it without agreement from the next of kin. Some of Gideon's former programming still in me. Caitlin, as Ronnie's husband, you can choose for him and therefore all three."

"Is there no other way? Cody wouldn't want to lose Firestorm," Liam pointed out, being Cody's boyfriend after all.

"Liam, this is the best way," Rose said, with wisdom only her power gave her.

"And it's what I am going with. Do it!" Caitlin ordered Leonard and devices started to move around the medical beds; the group could see something being injected into all three. There was silence from them all as they waited.

"It is done," the Leonard A.I. spoke after a moment. "I will start healing their injuries."

"You are just going to take away their powers," this was Jason and Kara turned to him. "That wasn't your decision…"

"It was," Kara said, moving over and bringing Jason out of the hospital bay. "It was Caitlin's decision, and it was the correct one. They either died a hero or lived as humans."

"So, you just think you can take away anyone's powers whenever you want," Jason said. "For whatever reason. Like you do with me."

"That is completely one hundred percent different," Kara said. "This was a medical decision to save their lives. Yours is you being irresponsible with the abilities you have. Powers are not a right – they are a privilege. If you abuse them, we can make sure you don't hurt yourself or anyone else. Just the same as we lock up villains who use their power to hurt others and for their own personal gain."

"I was born with my powers," Jason said. "They are a right."

"No, they are not," Kara said.

"So, you think I am just like the villains you lock up?" Jason asked.

"Jason – you nearly killed your mom. I don't know how to get this through your head. Spending time on Mutant Earth was your punishment and sometimes I think that taught you a lesson and sometimes you are the same as before," Kara said. "Learn your lesson before you do become a villain."

At that, Jason gave a growl and went to punch Kara. Kara would normally stop him – his fist hitting into her would only hurt Jason, even when he was at full power, but Kara remembered something Amelia said. Maybe getting hurt by one of his tantrums would teach him a lesson. So, she let his fist hit her chest and heard him call out in pain.

"Be more careful who you lose your anger on," Kara said bluntly. "Have Caitlin check your hand." Jason gave a frown but went back into the sick bay area.

Jason…, Kara sighed in her head to Barry who gave a silent agreement to her frustrations.

-Karry Universe-

Rae and Courtney had had fun with the Kents, and rather than go home via the multiverse system, they had decided to check to see if their Legends were still here.

"Hey you're still here," Rae came into the Waverider with her cat and dog. Courtney wasn't far behind her. "Should we use the system to get home, or should we stay here and catch a ride?"

"Leonard, can our three patients be moved?" Sara asked.

"They have healed up well enough they are stable to move to STAR Co.," Leonard said.

"Yeah, just wait a moment and we will be out," Sara said.

"Sweet," Courtney stated, happy to be going back home.

"Thank you, Legends," Kara said to Sara. "And thank you Leonard. We might have lost Firestorm, but at least we didn't lose the three who make him up."

"Before we go," Barry said, having been looking at Courtney from the moment she'd returned. "Can I ask you something?" Courtney raised an eyebrow and gave a nod. "We have the Staff on this world, but no one who is chosen by it. Not long ago it reacted when someone was near, but she is not chosen by the Staff. Any idea why?"

"My guess would be she was near someone not long beforehand who the Staff would choose," Courtney said and the light moved around her staff. "And Cosmo agrees."

"Thanks. Too bad we don't have a you here," Barry said, giving Courtney a smile and a pat on the shoulder. He and Kara gave each other a look and nod before running everyone from Karry off the ship. Ronnie, Cody, Michelle, Caitlin, Liam, and Rose were bought into the SuperFlash Cave to Caitlin's hospital wing. Star, Romana, and Jason were taken back to the Penthouse.

Barry stopped back on the Waverider after they were done.

"All good, get home safe. Oh, and don't be strangers," Barry said, "it's been good to see you all again since Crisis. See you, Little Rae," Rae gave a nod as Barry now left the ship and the Waverider moved off.

"So, does the whole multiverse call you Little Rae?" Courtney asked and Rae gave a nod and a smile at that.

-Karry Universe-

Arriving back home in the Penthouse, Barry saw all the kids and Winn. Kara was also already there.

"Where's Amelia?" Barry asked, looking for his sister. He needed a word with her after talking to Courtney.

"Downstairs, doing something for Halloween," Winn said. "She just mumbled something and got to work when I got home."

"I'll take the elevator down," Barry said.

Barry exited the elevator in the lobby. He could see a group of people were in the party room, but he ignored them like he always tended to do.

Amelia was just outside the door to the elevator that brought them up to the Penthouse. She had connected some type of large device to the wall just next to the door and seemed to be connecting it to the Gideon unit Barry had installed.

"What are you doing?" Barry asked, protective of Gideon; the A.I. was one of the only things out of STAR Co. that Barry had made completely himself. He was still the one to update Gideon, but others in the company did make devices to connect to Gideon. Amelia had also helped him once or twice with an update, but Amelia was an L-Corp employee, so it was nothing 'official'.

"Combining L-Corp and STAR Co technology to make a masterpiece we should really put on the market together," Amelia explained, and Barry leaned again the wall, intrigued. "I am calling it the trick-or-treater. We always just put a bucket of candy in front of the elevator for the kids here, but we know people take more than one."

"And this is…?" Barry asked.

"Stand in front of it and say trick or treat," Amelia instructed, and Barry was curious so went to get in front of it.

"Trick or treat," Barry said, seeing the front had a screen on it.

The words 'Happy Halloween' appeared on the screen and a selection of different candies, including how many were available, appeared. Barry pushed on the screen to select M&Ms and the treat bag came out of a slot.

"Interesting," Barry said taking the treat. "But what stops someone from doing this… Treat or treat!" on the screen, a red light appeared and words 'you have already gotten candy here' appeared.

"L-Corp dispenser system, a combination of STAR Co. and L-Corp programming with Gideon to monitor," Amelia said. "Plus, it's easy to install and its folds up when not using it to make it easy to store; L-Corp has been making these but we have needed the STAR Co. programming which we were not allowed to copy."

"So… you just did it?" Barry questioned.

"For personal use, not for business," Amelia defended. "If you say no, this becomes just something we have."

"Talk to Kara," Barry chuckled as he opened his pack of treats. "And I need to have a word with you."

"Okay, Gideon, give no more candy until Halloween," Amelia instructed as the two went back to the elevator; Amelia giving a wave to the Gossip Club – who had stuck their heads out of the party room to see what was going on – as she did. "So, we're taking all the kids trick or treating together, right? Both Eric and Kent's first." Amelia asked as they got onto the elevator. Amelia had gotten used to Halloween on others Earth's even, though the one on her original had been so different. It helped they did something like her traditions the day after and she was looking forward to sharing that with her new son too.

"Yes," Barry said as he had quickly eaten the entire pack. "But not what I want to talk about. Remember the Cosmic Staff?" Amelia gave a nod. "I think you were in contact with a person who it would choose. I want you to keep the Staff in your office. We could really use a new hero. Especially now we lost Firestorm."

"Okay," Amelia said with a shrug. "Wait… We lost Firestorm?!"

-Karry Universe-

In STAR Labs, Ronnie, Cody, and Michelle had woken up and had explained what had happened. Michelle, honestly, seemed relieved. Ronnie was a little upset but Caitlin had gotten Garfield and Jenny near him and he didn't look to upset anymore – knowing he could survive outside of Firestorm was something he was glad about, however.

It was Cody who was the worst at losing the abilities.

"Come on, Cody, your still our tech guy," Liam said to his boyfriend, who was clearly upset by all this.

"It's not the same," Cody said.

"Well… if you want to be a hero again, maybe we can find a way," Liam said, having been thinking this, too, before Cody had woken up.

"We could," Rose said, giving a look at this.

"Hey maybe that Staff?" Liam asked, looking to Rose, suddenly excited that the girl who could see future events agreed to this.

"No, that Staff is not meant for Cody, but there could be other objects from the Seven Forces which are," Rose said. "Or powers we could unlock that are buried within you…" this seemed to make Cody very happy.

Karen sat in her apartment with KJ; she was supposed to be doing schoolwork, but her mind was on her objective – she needed to decide how best to approach getting into the Justice League. She was going to go ask someone today, but she had been alerted to what happened to Firestorm, so decided now wasn't the best time.

Deciding to put her schoolwork aside she brought her journal and wrote an explanation of what she did today and then about what she heard. She ended it with:

I can't believe Weapons Master has a giant robot! Actually, maybe it's somewhat believable given his ability to make weapons. Still, its sad Firestorm had to be disconnected and separated, but at least they are not dead. It also might help me get into the Justice League. They need more numbers now.

Karen closed her journal after writing that line and went back to her schoolwork and TV show in the background. She'd missed this show while she has been in Italy.

-Karry Universe-

Inside his robot, Weapons Master laughed as he read the journal entry for what he had done today.

I can't believe Weapons Master has a giant robot! Actually, maybe it's somewhat believable given his ability to make weapons. It sucks he killed Firestorm though. This Weapons Master is really taking a hit on the Justice League. It's sad, but it might also help me get into the Justice League.

The world had never really been told what really happened to Firestorm; Supergirl and the Flash just said he retired while his real identities had never even been confirmed to the public. Now, Weapons Master could take credit for killing a League member when he got home…

-Karry Universe-

On Splitsville Earth, Little Rae was with Courtney in her basement in her home in Blue Valley.

When Courtney's dad, Starman, had died, Courtney had to move in with her mother and step-dad. Courtney had asked her mother and step-dad if she could make the basement her bedroom instead of sharing with her adopted sister, Yolanda, and they had agreed. It was also a good hangout spot for the two superhero teenagers.

Daniel and Sha're were playing with each other now anyway.

"So, your first world hop and a Paragon world," Rae said. "What did you think?"

"It was interesting," Courtney mused. "So, the Paragon worlds are the ones who brought back the multiverse in this Crisis thing you explained?" Rae gave a nod. "What are the others besides Karry?"

"Prime, SuperEarth, Hero, New Justice, Kingdom Come, and um… Beautiful," Rae said turning away as she said the last name.

"Oh, what's wrong with Beautiful?" Courtney asked.

"Nothing," Rae said a little too fast. "You saw me plan to help my Mini self who is on Beautiful with her pop up."

"Come on, what's up with that world? You made a face," Courtney said.

"I tend to avoid the Paragon there," Rae sighed.

"Is she mean?" Courtney asked.

"She's the Paragon of Humanity," Rae said turning to Courtney at that.

"Didn't answer my question," Courtney added.

"No, she's not mean. Kayla is great… it's just… look I have been dying to tell someone this but it's a big secret. You cannot tell anyone!" Rae said, turning to Courtney as she said it. "Promise."

"Promise," Courtney said.

"Superhero Promise," Rae said, holding out her hand. It was something they had made up when Rae had tracked her down. A Superhero Promise was a serious matter – it was not to be broken no matter what.

"Superhero Promise," Courtney said, taking Rae arm and the two held for a moment as they looked into each other eyes. "So?"

"During Crisis, they had me decode a book written in a Speed Force language that gave clues to who each Paragon was, but for Beautiful, whoever wrote the book put in something they shouldn't," Rae said. "They put a line through it, but it was still readable, and the person wrote a warning in what would be all capitals that translated to 'Aunt Little Mom do not read aloud'."

"Aunt Little Mom?" Courtney asked.

"I don't get it myself," Rae said shaking her head, knowing that was for her but couldn't figure out why someone would call her both aunt and mom. The only word that made sense in there was Little since her nickname was Little Rae.

"So, what did they write?" Courtney asked.

"Well, it's good enough to say that Beautiful Kayla is about to have her heart broken," Rae said. "And there is absolutely nothing I can do to stop it, because it has to happen."

"I see why you avoid her then?" Courtney asked, knowing she wouldn't want to be near someone who was in for a heart break and not only not be able to tell them but not be able to stop it. Courtney put an arm around Rae. "Your secret is safe with me. At least once it happens, you cannot be awkward around her."

"I hope so," Rae nodded.

Post Chapter Note: Yes, a little Beautiful foreshadowing. We have been hinting that Little Rae knows something about Beautiful Kayla and now you have some idea. What do you think? Also, what do you think of Firestorm being gone? I barely used him and decided he was the perfect 'win' for Weapons Master. Don't worry for the trio who make up Firestorm though; Ronnie is just glad he can be alive without the Matrix now, Michelle was never keen on being the hero anyway, and we have plans for Cody, but not for a while, sadly.
